What happens when you combine natural, noble, handsomeness with a few years of traveling and too many nights spent in bar fights? You get the rugged, weathered, bastard that is Alexander. Standing at six foot two, Alex is the sort of man who would fit in perfectly with a high-class crowd and, at the same time, is the sort of person you see yelling at a wall in a bar. Currently, the Quincy looks like a mess. He’s often said to stink, he rarely ever stands up straight and just about always looks like he can barely keep his eyes open. He looks tired and as if he has a hangover. He often walks with his shoulders slumped or his head leaning forward, as if he can barely support the weight of his own head.

When you get down to it there is no denying that Alex is handsome. He has a well-designed face that is, sadly, nearly always kept in some sort of frown or scowl. His hair is dark brown in color, brushed backward and ending in spiky tips in true “anime fashion”. What’s more, he has long bangs that drip down the sides of his face. On to more details. His eyes are a cool, blue, color that is similar to the surface of a lake. The man's jawline is covered in scruffy, poorly shaved, facial hair. The only blemish to his face is the long, old, scar that trails down from his forehead, down his left eye, and ends just an inch below his nose. When required to comment about his scar he’ll refer to it as a “beauty mark”.

As stated before, Alexander stands a little over six foot tall. He’s a well-built man at his peak. Beneath his clothing is a well-toned body that is ripped with muscle. A few scars dot his skin here and there, but they’re not really anything of note. Just a physical history of his life. Alexander often walks with a slumped posture and lowered shoulders, as if he is always being pushed down by stress. On top of this, the man always looks tired. He always looks like he doesn’t want to be there.

Despite the time that he lives in, Alexander prefers to dress rather traditionary. The man is often seen wearing a tunic that you typically wouldn't be seeing in this time period. The collars of his shirt are high standing. He has what looks like two shoulder pads on the outside of his shirt that connect together with two belt straps that form an X across his chest. He also wears fur bracers. There are two points of interest on his shirt that need to be pointed out. The first is the symbol of the Vandenreich that he wears on his back. The second is a smaller symbol that is worn over his heart, the symbol of the Alistair family. Alexander is, more often than not, seen wearing a large fur cloak when he is out and about traveling.

When he wishes the dress a little more modern, Alex decides to go all out. He'll most often be seen in a long red duster jacket. He'll often wear a black shirt under his jacket. He'll wear black pants with a belt that has a large metal belt buckle right there in the center. He'll wear boots over the pant legs. He'll also finish this outfit by wearing fingerless gloves. He prefers to be both inconspicuous and stylish at the same time. Other times he might just wear a suit, or simple collared shirts with holster straps.

Alex's reiatsu is also, similarly, unique to him. Alexander's reiatsu, when it appears, is rather ominous in appearance and color. It rises off him like steam, like an ominous odor. Black in color with blue outlines, Alex's reiatsu comes off as very forbodding and nerve racking. He's not often one that is angered, so there is a sinister calmness to his reiatsu that is almost like when someone is standing in the eye of a hurricane. It brings about the feeling of death, as if Alexander is the grim reaper himself. Like death is just a play thing in his fingers.

✚ PERSONALITY ✚

Likes:

✚ Pizza - Honest to the Emperor, this is the greatest cuisine ever created in human history. Alexander loves pizza. He is next to obsessed with pizza. Promising him pizza as a reward, or as a incentive, is a sure fire way of getting this Quincy to do exactly what you want. This man is the sort of man who will order pizzas all day and eat just because he’s bored. He can never get enough of it.

✚ Fine dining - Growing up in a noble household, Alexander was commonly given luxurious and expensive foods for meals. He still enjoys fine dining to this day, and always wants to sample something new and rare.

✚ Hadrian - He's a nice guy. While his view of the Vandenreich is foolish, Alexander can't help but appreciate that there is someone around who isn't an asshole. He’s also, oddly enough, like one of the only guys Alex seems to be able to find walking around. The Vandenreich is a big Taco Tuesday.

✚ His beard - Alex likes to rub his hand up and down his chin to feel his beard. He likes having a beard. He says it makes him look mature, handsome, and chiseled. He actually hates it when people tell him to shave and will refuse to do so. You either love him with a beard or you ain't good enough for him.

✚ Travelling - He likes to see the world and different cultures of people. Unfortunately, everywhere he goes seems to be some rainy, goat fucker filled village in the middle of goddamn nowhere.

✚ Peacocks - They're beautiful birds. Not much else beyond that.

✚ Mountains - Having grown up in Southern Wales, mountains were no strange sight for the young Quincy. He's always wanted to climb to the top of one and see the world below.

✚ Kids - Sweet, innocent, and always wanting to learn, Alexander gets along rather well with kids. Maybe it's because he's a big kid himself.

✚ The Rukongai - He actually likes going to the Rukongai when he can. The simpler lifestyle they have there appeals to him and even relaxes him. He also likes the bars. The sake is definitely nice. The Shinigami and Hollows are annoying though, and the gang members stink.

✚ Taking Baths - Alexander is a bit of a clean freak, so he has a tendency to take long baths and lots of showers. He loves taking scalding hot bubble baths though. It lets him unwind and really remember that he came from a noble house, even if they were a warrior dynasty. Have we mentioned he hates being dirty? Though taking hot baths for too long as often caused him to pass out on his bathroom floor.

✚ Flirting - Alex is a flirt. When he sees a nice looking lady that catches his attention he’ll home in like a torpedo. He’s also a really bad flirt. So he usually ends up getting slapped.

✚ Gambling - While his luck is atrocious, Alex loves making bets and playing cards. It’s exciting. He loves the thrill and excitement of it all. Though he does hate the disappointment when he loses. You win some you lose some.

✚ The Cold - He prefers the cold that the heat. While he's not crazy about it, Alex doesn't mind the cold. You can escape the cold. If Alex is feeling chill he can put on more clothes or eat something hot. You can escape cold, not the heat.

Dislikes:

✚ Construction Noises - So loud and so noisy. They're just simply a bother. Alex really doesn't like the sound of large machines, screaming saws, or jackhammers smashing their way into concrete. He also doesn't like them being in the way. The crews that is.

✚ Complaints - Alexander doesn't like listening to complaints. The time spent to groan could be used to better your situation so you that you won't complain anymore. Ironic, though, since Alex has a tendency to complain about things to.

✚ Being seen as weak - As an Alistair, and as a man, and as a Quincy, Alexander absolutely detests being seen as weak. It's one of those things that will actually get under the smiling Quincies skin. Ever since he could remember he has been training, one way or another, in order to fight the demonic legions of Hell. So when he has all that effort insulted...well Alex might just end up hurting the person.

✚ The rain - He really doesn't like getting caught out in it. His work takes him to some of the most unpleasant places in the world and the rain only ends up making them worse. The rain also makes mud and Alex really doesn't like the mud.

✚ Shinigami - So despite being a Quincy, Alex doesn't dislike the Shinigami because of the typical reasons a Quincy would. He dislikes the Shinigami because of how incompetent they are at their jobs. If Soul Society were better able to monitor and prevent things from escaping Hell, then Alex's family would actually still be alive. Also, he's not into dead chicks.

✚ Hollows - He's a Quincy. The entire purpose behind the creation of the Quincy was so humans could fight back against these monsters. Just makes sense that he would not like them.

✚ Nakabakki Quincy - Alexander detests the fact that Hell is a thriving ecosystem. What's more, he is disgusted at the thought that the pure blood of the Quincy could, at all, be corrupted by the seed of a denizen of Hell. For the Emperor and his family, Alexander will see these monsters put down.

✚ Yappy dogs - They're very yappy and annoying. While their bravery is commendable, it's born from utter stupidity.

✚ Saika - Honestly the easiest of the Hell races to kill, but still incredibly dangerous and annoying. They're sinners. Humans who have committed grave and evil sins and have been warped and twisted into these mutations of their past selves. Time to die.

✚ Hason - Hason are especially bad. They're what you think of, typically, when you imagine a monster in Hell. They're one of the biggest threats that the Alistairs, and Alex, dealt and deal with.

✚ Nakabakki - While he has a big dislike for Naka Quincy, Alex in general just doesn't like Nakabakki. Once upon a time, long long ago, the Alistairs used to kidnap adopt Nakabakki's that they found. They would then beat train these halfbreeds until they were strong enough to be forced persuaded into performing the Purification Ritual to purge their demonic halves. Not many Alistairs did this. Most just killed Naka's on site. But there was one incident that caused the Alistair's to abandon this practice and just KOS Nakabakki.

✚ Akki - The most terrifying demons of Hell. Despite generations of demon hunting, the Alistair family has only encountered Akki three times. They failed to stop one, requiring the Shinigami to intervene. The second they pushed back. The third was the one the family can claim to have killed. The third Akki had been a Nakabakki that the Alistair's had been trying to save from its demonic heritage. Instead of accepting humanity, the bastard chose to instead embrace what they were. Seven Alistairs died in that battle.

✚ Dirty Clothes - Alex hates getting his clothes dirty. He hates getting them damaged as well. He actually goes to some rather extreme lengths to keep his clothes from getting muddy or ruined.

✚ Training - He's done enough training for his lifetime when he was a kid. Alex actually hates training of any kind. He'd rather laze about eating pizza or be out hunting demons. Trying to get him to go training with you is like getting a tooth pulled for him.

✚ Converting - So...while he's certainly capable of doing it Alex isn't actually a big fan of converting people. It depends on the person. But Alex will never convert a Shinigami into a Quincy. He's someone who is big on loyalty and detests traitors. A Shinigami joining the Vandenreich is someone who is a coward, and is someone who is fine with throwing their comrades under the bus. Alex doesn't want someone like that around. They can't be trusted. He'll actually just tell them he's going to convert them only to just shoot them in the heart instead.

Habits:

✚ Hot Baths - When not at work or training, Alexander enjoys taking hot, scalding, baths. He can end up taking them for so long, however, that he'll end up passed out on the floor.

✚ Dining - He enjoys fine dining. He enjoys trying out new things. While his favorite food will always be pizza, he enjoys sampling the most expensive things out there.

✚ Eating Pizza - When Alex isn't doing anything, you'll probably find him in his room eating pizza.

✚ Stroking his chin - He likes the feel of his beard. You'll often see the man rubbing his chin when he's thinking or if he's just bored.

✚ Vacations - Alexander likes to go on extended "missions" into the human world. Often times, someone will have to go get him. (This is usually Priscilla).

✚ Goofing off - Alexander is very lazy. He likes to take naps.

✚ Flirting - As a natural born respecter of women, Alexander loves spending his time in the company of incredibly beautiful women. Both with clothes on and without.

✚ Drinking - He doesn't have a drinking problem until he runs out.

Flaws:

✚ Can't read cursive - Yeah there...is no explaining this one. He can write it just fine just...he can't read it very well for some reason. Alex often skipped his families English lessons in pursuit of improving his combat capabilites. Skipping these lessons has cost him in the end.

✚ Prideful - As a man who has dedicated so much of his life to training in hopes of gaining power to ensure the accomplishment of the Emperor's goals, being seen as weak by anyone is an insult to Alexander's pride. He has much pride in his strength.

✚ Never shuts up - Well, as the Vandenreichs jester it would only make sense for the Quincy to keep talking right? Alex is almost never without some stupid quip or joke to say about the situation. It makes him very annoying for some people.

✚ Womanizer - Alex is a flirt. He'll flirt with nearly any woman. The mans loves women. He respects them. He wants to sleep with them. Sex is fun. However, Alex is a bit of a bad flirt. Women don't typically play along with his little games and it usually ends in him getting slapped.

✚ Bad gambler - Despite the fact that he loves to do it, Alex is actually just really bad at gambling. His luck is a 1/10 so he will, nine times out of ten, always lose in any sort of gambling game.

✚ Doesn't like to train - Alexander really hates training. Because he fails to keep up with his practicing, he ends up falling behind others. But because Alexander is just full of natural talent, he doesn't need to train. He's already perfect.

Fears:

✚ Failing the Emperor - With his devotion and love for the Emperor being as strong as it is, it makes complete sense that Alexander fears failing his God. He failed once before and it nearly destroyed him, but the Emperor's forgiveness was what saved him from despair. Alexander aims to never fail his Majesty again.

✚ The Vandenreich losing - While it is impossible, the idea of the Vandenreich losing unerves Alexander. He has trouble seeing them losing, considering the number of powerful individuals within its ranks and the fact that they are lead by a living god. If the Vandenreich loses, then the human world won't have a powerful force to face against the denizens of Hell. Alex will be left all alone.

✚ Fire - When Alex was a child, when the Alistair family home was first attacked, he awoke to find his room in a blaze. Trapped in a burning room with choking smoke, skin cracking heat, and the fear of burning alive filling him, Alex has sense been afraid of fire. Not candles, campfires, or anything like that. Large blazes scare him.

✚ Dying - Alex is afraid of dying. If he dies then he fails. If he fails then the Alistairs are gone. If the Alistairs are gone then Hell wins.

Goals:

✚ Enact the Wahrwelt - The ultimate goal of all the Vandenreich. Create a world without death, where nobody has to suffer anymore. A world where there aren't any crying children anymore.

✚ Find the Hason called "Diablo" - When Alexander was twelve the forces of Hell marched upon the Alistair manor. A small army of Saika and Hason, all working together to see that the family of demon hunters became extinct. How such a force came together, and how they all escaped Hell together, is a mystery that Alexander seeks to solve. But what he truly seeks is the Hason that lead the attacking force.

✚ Eradicate / Seal off Hell - Hell is neccessary to exist. Alexander understands this. What the Alistair wants, though, is to see if it's possible to seal off any sort of exit from Hell. He wants the monsters of the underworld to finally stop coming out. It's supposed to be an eternal prison. Or the Vandenreich could always just blow it up. Turn it to dust. That would be fine too.

✚ Revive the Alistair's - As the last of his clan, Alexander wants to do the right thing and bring his family back. While it's impossible to ressurect them, he wants the family to live. On to do that, he needs a wife and a kid. Not like that's going to happen anytime soon.

Overall Personality:

Alright, so what sort of man is Alexander? Well...it really depends on when you catch him. Firstly, let’s delve into the core elements of Alex’s personality. Alexander Alistair is a man who upholds his family motivations and creed to the best of his ability. Despite the hardships and trials in his life, Alexander always strives to carry out the ideals of the Alistair family...as best as he can. However, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have some flaws. But, first, let’s go over just what exactly the ideals of the Alistair's are. This family of Quincy was unlike any others. While all the other clans dealt with the ever-present threat of Hollows, the Alistair's focused on the insidious danger of Hell. They were the hunters of the monsters that escaped the eternal prison. They traversed the dark places that others feared to tread in search of the abominations that lay hidden in our world.

The Alistair’s did not see themselves as heroes. Though they fought for humanity's sake, they did not seek praise, approval, or recognition for their actions. They were secretive, quiet, and kept to themselves. Despite the eradication of the family, Alexander still upholds these values. At his core, Alexander still believes in the core ideals of the Alistair: protecting and fighting for the people of the living world. The battle with the Shinigami is, in a way, irrelevant to him. If he is ordered to or required to fight against a Shinigami he won’t hesitate but unlike many other Quincy, he holds no hatred or grudge towards the black-robed spirits. It’s disappointment and agitation he feels instead. The Alistair's did not receive eradication from the Shinigami, after all. They were the ones doing their jobs.

As the last living member of this once powerful family, Alexander lives to uphold the ideals and values of his family. Fight for the people against the monsters of Hell. How he does so, though, is entirely up to him. So, what is Alexander like? Well, he is...not what you might expect. When someone tells you about Alex and they reveal the fact he is a demon hunting member of the Vandenreich one wouldn’t be faulted for imagining a brooding, angsty, edgy character with a constant scowl on his face. Well ...that isn’t Alex. In fact he might just be the opposite of that.

”Hell feeds on negativity. Fear, hate, despair. It drinks them like a parched man in a desert. I won’t give them that. I’ve chosen to give them the very opposite of what they want.”

Alex is best described as a clown. He’s a fun loving, quip spitting, positive dude who would be right at home on the west coast. In a world filled with brooding edgelords, Alexander stands apart by being a refreshing change of pace. While being over a hundred years old, Alexander still behaves as though he’s a child sometimes. Make no mistake though. He might act like a kid at times but he is, in fact, a fully functioning adult. Alex always finds a way to turn any situation into some sort of show. Cracking jokes during a major villains monologue, replying with very bad puns, or just never taking the situation at hand seriously, all of this and more is the main crux of his personality. He’s a clown.

Alex is incredibly flippant. He has a habit of casually mouthing off to even his most powerful enemies, and will even show off or taunt his adversaries as much as he can. Alex displays a fearless, almost disinterested, attitude towards incredibly dangerous situations. He is almost never without a witty taunt or comeback. Sometimes, though, this personality and attitude makes Alexander come off as callous and uncaring. However, as an Alistair, Alex has a very strong sense of justice. He will always put others before himself when it comes to protecting the innocent and weak from the monsters of Hell. Though, he will never shut up while doing it.

However, all of this is nothing more than a coping mechanism. Behind the smile and beneath the jokes, Alexander is actually a sad and broken man. His home, his family, his everything had been taken from him at a young, impressionable, age that it left him scarred. Alexander’s personality is a coping mechanism to deal with the overwhelming depression and anger that the man keeps hidden. He does a pretty good job hiding it, but Alexander has a hatred for the denizens of Hell that is similar to a fire wanting to burn everything around him. He is single-minded in his pursuit to destroy anything and everything related to Hell. It was why he joined the Vandenreich. He felt that they would best assist him with this endeavor. The Quincy travels from one corner of the world to the other, searching for and rooting out evil where it hides.

On the plus side, though, Alexander highly values friendship and family. While he may no longer have his birth family, he regards his fellow Vandenreich soldiers as being akin to “distant brothers and sisters”. Alex is often rather kind to his fellow Quincy, though there are certainly a few he doesn’t really like. While his family may be gone, the Quincy still honors the families traditions and ideals. It is why, despite joining the Vandenreich, Alexander still chooses to hunt the monsters from Hell.

✚ COMBAT ✚

Fighting Style:

Like it was said in his personality section, Alexander is fierce and rough, cold and uncaring. What this means is that he is ferocious on the battlefield, no matter who it is he is fighting. He has little problem insulting someone’s fighting style or techniques, or mocking them and goading them into messing up. He likes to use others personalities against them, though this might only work on the easily flustered and embarrassed. He’s not one to often show mercy, except against women and on the rare occasion that someone piques his interest.

So, Alexander fights like you would typically expect a Quincy would. The man is an archer, first and foremost. He will almost always open the battle with taking shots at his enemy with his bow. Naturally he is a long range fighter, preferring to stay well out of his opponents reach and assault them from afar with his powerful arrows. While most long ranged fighters find that stealth is a excellent way to approach a battle, Alexander laughs in their face. He believes in a open forward assault that will completely overwhelm and obliterate his enemy. He is fully aggressive in his fighting, utilizing all his talents as a Quincy to their fullest.

Now then, as we said before Alex is a long range fighter. The most important thing about this fighting style isn’t actually being able to hit the opponent; it’s never being hit yourself. To ensure that this never happens, Alex has trained his body to be able to perform extreme feats of acrobatics. Utilizing the high speed given to him through Techniques, Alex can easily out maneuver and out perform nearly any enemy looking to get their hands on him. It’s simple for him to do backflips, spiral through the air, bend his body, and perform other feats to keep himself out of harm's way.

Now fighting with a bow isn’t all that Alex does. The man will freely admit that his fighting style is like that of a speedy mage. Aside from utilizing arrows, Alexander will also use a wide range of spell like Techniques. If he were a Shinigami he’d more than likely be some kind of Kido master. He doesn’t like to fight up close and personal. The type of enemy he’s fighting is far superior in physical combat, so Alexander chose to maximize his victory potential at a range. Thankfully, the human world is quite adept at making tricky little spells.

Moving on, Alexander is just not the kind of guy to fight up close. He prefers to let his soldiers do the fighting for him. As we see in his bow release, Alexander can create an army from his bow. He prefers to stand in the back, allowing his army of shadow soldiers to overwhelm and defeat the opponent themselves. While he’s more than fine with letting his army kamikaze themselves to death on his enemy, Alexander is required to at least have some tactical abilities to command and control his bodies.

While Alex is a very aggressive fighter he doesn’t like doing the fighting himself. He utilizes his bows ability to produce soldiers to its fullest and will always have his arrows fighting for him. The Quincy also steers himself towards techniques and abilities that summon. He prefers to let his pets do his fighting for him. He’ll typically stand in the back, where it’s safe, and command his personal army. In order to best do this, Alex has trained to be a rather analytical person. He’s trained to become a competent leader and be able to analyze, understand, and predict his opponents actions.

Alex will also use his own personality against people. He'll always have something to say while he's fighting. Whether it's throwing shade, making jokes, or trying to make terrible puns, he'll always be running his mouth while he's fighting. He does this for two reasons. The first is because he's trying to get under his opponents skin without directly insulting them. If he can agitate them, make them mad, then he wins. It'll make them slip up. The second reason is because he thinks it's fun. Alex likes to have fun when he fights. It doesn't matter if you're not having fun, it's his enjoyement that's important.

Bow Release Name: Schattenkaiser

Bow Release Overall Theme:

Alexander's bow is almost the complete opposite of what you would expect. The Quincy himself is loud, bright, boisterous, fun loving, and the complete opposite of anything broody and edgy. Yet his powers almost completely encapsulate those last two terms perfectly. Maybe it's fitting that Alex's powers are so different from his personality. The Quincy is also very different from what you'd expect a Vandenreich to be after all. Alexander's bow, or Letzt Stil, revolves around the power of Necromancy. The dark and twisted magic that manipulates the corpses of the dead is what Alexander's abilities have manisfted themselves as. However, it's not as simple as that. Alexander doesn't actually raise corpses. His power is summoning the shadow of a person. The remnants of their soul, a hollow husk in their appearance to follow his commands. Alexander doesn't like to call himself a necromancer, because it causes people to imagine him being some shriveled up skeleton. He prefers the term "Shadow Monarch."

Class 6 Form Property: "Army of the Underworld"

There are few that can face the denizens of Hell alone. They may fight with overwhelming power. Some may use unbridled strategy. Alexander chooses to fight with overwhelming numbers. While most Quincy, belonging to the Vandenreich or not, will typically choose some form of unique Bow to fight with… Alexander instead creates a unique form of arrow. This Quincies arrows do not take on the shape of their namesake, instead, they take of those that have perished at his hands. A Quincies arrow will typically destroy the soul of whatever it pierces, eradicating all trace of them from existence. Alexander is unique. Those killed by his arrows are not entirely forgotten. Faint fragments of them remain. Their shadow is forever etched into his being. Alexander’s arrows take on the various forms of those he has killed. These spirits have a wide range of appearances but most will always be humanoid in appearance. What makes them stand out, though, is the fact that they are the living shadows of people. They always appear in shadowy forms, with blue, spiritual, lights escaping from their eyes and mouths. They will typically take on the form of armored knights but some even appear to be Shinigami.

Class 5 Firing Property: “Arise”

Compared to his Form Property and everything else in his arsenal, Alexander’s Firing Property isn’t all that special. It’s rather simple, actually. Alexander’s Firing Property allows him to fire his arrows without the use of a bow. In fact, it simply makes his bow disappear. What it allows him to do is fire his arrows from the floor around him. Alexander is able to prepare and fire his arrows from over four meters around him. However, the catch is that he’s only able to release his arrows from the same level as his feet. His arrows must also go “upwards”. They cannot fire downwards. They have to shoot upwards. This is to give his arrow soldiers the effect of rising up, as though they are spirits being risen from their grave. What makes his Firing Property even better, though, is the fact that it empowers his shadow soldiers further. How they work is rather simple. They'll follow Alexander's vocal, or mental, orders perfectly and do everything they can to ensure they complete their missions. They're not able to think on their own, however. Alexander is, essentially, the brain behind his own personal army. While his spirits can spawn with a random assortment of melee weapons, they're not really very good at using them. They'll, more or less, just swing and hope for the best. The duration of Alex's arrows also depends on what class each individual arrow is. A Class 7 arrow will only remain on the field for one post and goes up by one post for each Class. Alex is able to have 20 of these arrows out at any given time.

Class 4 Power Property: “Unending Loyalty”

The Power Property makes Alexander’s arrows far more dangerous. When activated, this Power Property gives Alexander’s arrows a form of immortality. Typically, when a Vandenreich Quincy uses Arrow Detonation the arrow will simply be destroyed. However, when Alexander uses his Power Property this does not mean the end of the arrow. Each arrow, or soldier, is able to reform into a fully functioning state after they explode. He’s able to do this once a post and each explosion costs 150 reiatsu.

Class 3 Power Property: “Power from Death”

Another Power Property is earned at Class 3. What this one does is very different from the Class 4 Power Property. Power from Death allows Alexander to, essentially, use his own soldiers as bows. We'll keep it simple and devoid of much fluff. With this property active, Alexander can fire Arrows and Techniques from any soldiers he has active at the time. When it comes to arrows, Alexander is only able to fire an arrow of equal or lower class than the arrow that that soldier was made from. So a Class 4 soldier is only able to have a Class 4 or lower arrow released from any point of its body. This causes the arrow to be 25% more expensive. The second part of this property is allowing Techniques to be fired from the shadow soldier. The Techniques that Alexander is able to fire from his shadows cannot be body based techniques, like Blut. It has to be things that can affect the outside world. Things like barriers, projectiles, etc. Once a Technique is cast from a soldier, it vanishes. Techniques that cause Alexander to suffer harm or debilitations as drawbacks will still affect him. Alex can also only use Techniques that are equal or lower class than the current arrow.

Class 2 Form Property: "Champions of the Risen Dead"

At Class 2, Alexander unlocks his Mass Property. This one, though, is rather unique. In order to activate the effect of this Property, Alexander must combine three Class 2 arrows into one before firing. This will create an entity that is above the regular soldiers that Alexander summons. This will create a Shadow Champion. These spirits are a level above the regular arrow shadow soldiers. They are an intimidating presence on the battlefield, possessing power far greater than the regular infantry. These Shadow Champions are the only spirits that are gifted with the Skills to use their weapons at a Mastered level. Alexander is able to generate a melee weapon of his choice for these Champions upon their creation. Champions possess Senses and Instinct equal to Alexander's and are actually able to think and act outside Alexander's orders. They're not sentient, however. These Champions are able to operate on a skill level above the regular infantry, and are a match for skilled fighters in their own right. Alexander is limited to only making four Champions at a time, and they are only allowed to exist so long as the Property remains active. Champions do not count when it comes to the Form Properties limit of 20 shadows.

Class 1 Soul Property: “Land of the Dead”

The final property, the Soul Property, is one that affects the land around the Quincy. Alexander’s Soul Property is very situation specific, meaning that it won't often be seen. Befitting of one with necromancer like abilities, his Soul Property will only ever be fully effective when Alex is surrounded by the dead. This ability requires corpses. Just one corpse will do, but multiple corpses would be better. Activating "Land of the Dead" suddenly turns all of the corpses in a 500 foot radius around Alexander into a bow. Once a post, Alexander is able to fire ten arrows from a corpse. This number goes up depending on the class of the corpse. A Class 8-7 corpse will only fire 10 arrows but a Class 6 corpse will fire 20. This means that a Class 1 corpse will fire 70 arrows a post. Naturally, these arrows will take on the form of the person they're fired from. These corpses can be anything, ranging from humans to Shinigami to Hason and anything in between.

This is a movement technique. It's to keep up with things like Shunpo or Sonido. While all races using this have their own variant of a step technique already, this one is pretty much an in-general type of move. It attunes the physical body to the reiatsu in the air, rather than spiritual to spiritual. It is now physical to spiritual. This allows the user to step at 3x speed for the cost of only 25 Reiatsu. This technique does not take up a technique slot.

How to use technique: Focus the body’s energy and release during a step. This technique can be broken off in the middle of its use. Unlike other step techniques, this one can be repeated while in the middle of the previous one, allowing someone to change their movement course in mid movement.

Analogous to the Shinigami Shunpo or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to many Quincy, it is faster than flash steps, though a Captain's superior speed in comparison to a Master Quincy's speed suggests that this is just a generalization. Using it in its base form increases speed 10x for a single step, and costs 50 Reiatsu. However, unlike Shunpo and Sonido, this can be used for a constant movement as well. Giving up 400 Reiatsu allows for a constant movement over the duration of one post at 6x speed. Giving up 1000 Reiatsu allows constant movement over the duration of 3 posts of 4x speed.

How to use technique: To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances.

Technique Description and Effects:
Blut, translated as “blood,” is a powerful technique that is passed down through all pure-blooded Quincies of the Vandenreich Empire. This technique is a gift from the Vandenreich Emperor, and only exists as long as he, or someone of similar power who as assumed his role, is alive. Channeling that leader's power through their very veins, Vandenreich Quincy are able to draw upon it and make use of it either defensively or offensively in combat. This technique is not active by default, however, and a cost must be paid to trigger it.

The first half of this technique is Blut Vein, the defensive half of the ability. Acting similar to an Arrancar's Hierro, Blut Vein allows the user to protect themselves on the skin level, preventing any physical damage to the body as long as the user possesses a superior offensive stat. Unlike Hierro, though, this armor will not degrade over time. However, attacks with impact behind them can still send the user flying, though the bodily damage will be negated. Blut Vein costs 300 Reiatsu per post to keep active.

The other half of the technique is Blut Arterie, which focuses on offensive ability. While this ability is active, the Emperor's power flows through the user's body and soul, doubling either physical or spiritual stats. This takes up one of the user's long-term stat boost slots, and costs 500 Reiatsu per post to keep active. Note that only one of these two techniques can be active at a time; if one is activated, the other is deactivated.

How to use technique:
Spend Reiatsu to draw out the latent power in the user's blood.

Technique Drawbacks:
The first major drawback to Blut Vein is that it can be bypassed in one of three ways. First, if the opponent's offensive stat is higher by even a single point, then Blut Vein is ignored. Second, if the opponent is of a superior Class, then Blut Vein is bypassed. Finally, “final forms” of Release, such as Bankai, can ignore Blut Vein.

Blut Arterie has its own drawbacks as well. When active, Blut Vein is removed, removing the user's defenses. Aside from taking up a stat boost slot, the user is constantly funneling excess energy through their body, which is a tiring effect over time. Finally, while active, the user draws in half as much Reiatsu per post as normal, as they are focused on output more than they are on drawing it in.

Technique Description and Effects:
Willpower is a technique that is available to most who dwell within the human world, and has a variety of effects that make it a versatile and useful technique. This technique is one that manifests the willpower of the physical body. It essentially causes spirit and physical body to "become one" and merge their powers. There are two uses of it. The first is a non battle use, and is the main use. The main use is simply to know the technique, which slows the aging process of the body and allows the possessor to live easily as long as a Shinigami or Arrancar. This is a will-based technique, however, and thus, if will vanishes, so does its power to stop the aging, which quickly catches up. Mod Souls and Bounts have a minor version of this part at all times, which allows them to age slowly at all times; humans and Quincy learn this version at Class 1.

Willpower has three stages that are associated with it, as listed below:


[Stage One: Cog]: By giving up 100 Reiatsu, the user pumps an explosive amount of intimidating power out. Anyone of inferior class will immediately be intimidated. This does not mean they won't fight. Those who are weak enough in comparison will feel a huge, exaggerated surge of power that will probably make them surrender. This can also be used on Hollows to actually scare them away instead of having to kill them. This does NOT work on animals! It only works on "intelligent beings." This means unless it has a similar to human intelligence, this wont' work on an animal.

[Stage Two: Pulley]: This causes physical output to increase based on draining spiritual energy. It costs 400 reiatsu. When activated, it increases physical stats by 50%. However, it causes the skin to begin to blister from pumped out Reiatsu. Essentially, skin begins to burn. It's a quick burn. Within 5 posts, burning will start to become quite serious. On top of that, statistic gain is lost by the post, starting after the second post of this being active. After that time, 10% of the gain is lost every post. It can only be restored by sacrificing 150 Reiatsu per 10%.

[Stage Three: Gate]: This has no initial cost. Reiatsu strength and Spiritual pressure (but NOT Reiatsu amount) both double. From there, reiatsu output goes up, meaning that costs are also doubled for everything. On top of that, 100 reiatsu is lost per post until this is deactivated.


Drawback: See each individual stage. Atop that, when Willpower is learned, it comes with all three stages, but costs double the TTP to learn. Humans, Mod Souls, Quincy, and Bounts only.

Technique Description and Effects: Selee Schneide is the pinnacle of a Quincy's ability to absorb Reiatsu. When activated, a medium-length blade of Reiatsu is formed from the hilt. This blade vibrates at very high frequencies, and is capable of loosening the bonds between Spirit Particles, and then stealing the free Spirit Particles.

When the Selee Schneide is activated, it has an offensive stat of 0, regardless of the user. However, it cannot be overpowered by a technique of equal or inferior class, regardless of that technique's offensive stat. Instead, any technique that interacts with Selee Schneide has its offensive stat reduced by 100, and then the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 100. If the Selee Schneide interacts with a Reiatsu based being - such as a Shinigami, Arrancar, Hollow Akki, Rogue or Beast Clan - then the person struck loses 50 Reiatsu, and the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 50. This includes when the Selee Schneide strikes an extension of that being's soul, such as part of their Zanpakuto or Ressurecion.

At any stage, the Selee Schneide can be fired by the user, using their standard bow, as an arrow. This arrow has an offensive stat and speed equal to that of the Selee Schneide at the time of firing.

How to use technique: Hold the Selee Schneide hilt in hand, and pay the appropriate Reiatsu Cost.

Technique Drawbacks: This technique requires the same amount of TTP as a Class 4 technique to learn. The Selee Schneide can only be activated at a Class equal to or lower than the user's. The Selee Schneide can only steal Reiatsu from techniques or beings whose Class is lower to, or equal to, the Class of the Selee Schneide. This technique requires a Selee Schneide hilt (item) to use, and each hilt can only be used once. The costs for activating the Selee Schneide is the same as normal Quincy arrows. It then costs the same amount of Reiatsu per post to maintain it.

Technique Description and Effects: [This ability is not a stand alone technique. This ability takes any other ability and changes it. At class three, this ability takes any technique and turns it into one of two dragons. The first dragon option is the serpentine dragon of the East. The Asian dragon, extremely prominent in mythology and even certain parts of history. This dragon is twenty feet long, and comes with or without wings. The next dragon is the feared dragon of the West, most known for terrorizing the masses, and being slain by the knight. This dragon is twenty feet tall, and has one head.

Each dragon is comprised of whatever technique was used in conjunction with. The dragons are able to think and act independently, slaying anything in their path save for their master. The dragons will follow simple orders that their masters give out, but they will do said orders in their own manner. Each dragon is able to breath flames, carrying the same effects and combat stat as the ability that the dragon is formed from. If the dragon is slain, by any attack equal to or over 3/4 the rs of the original technique, will explode equal to its rs into the sky destroying everything above it in a violent pillar of reiatsu. The dragon's strength is 800, with 600 being the speed for the Western dragon, with the opposite being true for the Eastern dragon.

At proficient, the caster can create two Eastern dragons, each twenty five feet long, or a Western dragon standing thirty feet tall with two heads.

At mastered, the caster is able to create three Eastern dragons, each thirty feet long, or a Western dragon standing forty feet tall with three heads.

Each dragon is the same class as the ability used to make it, and are subject to regular clash rulings.]

How to use technique: [You pay 500 reiatsu on your non-release technique, and the ability takes form. The ability, if used that post, lasts a little longer than it should, right before the beast forms. The dragon lasts 5 posts longer than the technique used to make it would normally last.]

All races except for mod souls can create extended "Reiatsu output" abilities, as long as they generate Reiatsu, and fire it off in some way. This is the requirement of these abilities. This technique can only be used by those who are Class 2 or above. It is the ultimate direct counter to Kido.

Technique Description and Effects: An advanced version of the lesser Firecracker technique, this one is actually meant to maim and kill, whereas its weaker version is meant to distract and slow. When this technique is used, the user can create a field of Reiatsu over a fifty square foot radius. Within this field, at any time, the user can detonate a section with the force of a large mine for the cost of 50 Reiatsu. An explosion does not use up an area of the minefield; the section is instantly replenished and can be detonated again.

How to use technique: Build up Reiatsu and spread it over an area, holding it in a steady wave beneath the ground before detonating it through simple focusing.

Drawback: This technique gets expensive; besides the initial cost of the technique, it also costs 50 Reiatsu per explosion, and atop that it costs an additional 100 Reiatsu per post to maintain the field. Atop that, it is tiring to maintain the field for long periods of time; after three posts, the pressure of holding it starts to wear on the user, and only gets worse after that.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): An ancient and powerful Energy Generate technique uncovered, Electrocution is a natural force using technique. This EG uses the raw power of electricity as its weapon, ravaging an enemies body as it is released from the hands or fingertips of its user. As the caster is only the conduit for the lightning, the EG does not rely on any of his physical or spiritual capabilities to perform. He simply needs the necessary Reiatsu to use it. Electrocution is a devastating Energy Generate as no force living or dead can withstand the effects of an electric shock. When the lightning strikes the target they will, typically, clench up and become immobilized as the pain of Electrocution courses through their bodies. Those struck by the electric shock are subject to the pain of high powered electricity. As mastery of the technique rises so does the power behind the electricity. Reiatsu Strength is the used Offensive Stat for this technique, but because this technique has definite damage the OS is simply used for clashes.

Class 4: The user cannot fully utilize the power of this technique at this Class. At Class 4 all the user can do is create a quick blast of electricity, a single and quick bolt that does nothing more than quickly immobilize and hurt the enemy. The bolt is quick, moving within the seven meter range of effectiveness in the blink of an eye. The immobilization caused by the bolt is quick fleeting, doing nothing more than stopping the target from performing an action (someone running would fall over). It is essentially the equivalent of someone being shot with a taser.

Class 3: Class 3 users of Electrocution are a force to be feared on the battlefield. As they practice and hone their talents with the technique they soon reach the level where they are no longer limited to a quick spark. Class 3 can release a steady stream of arcing bolts of electricity from their palms or fingertips for approximately seven seconds. While only one target can be struck at this level, the power at this level is much higher than its Class 4 state. Immense pain is inflicted upon the target, causing either intense tension in the body as it freezes up or simply collapsing. While not as lethal as the Class 2 version, this level of power is very useable in the battlefield. Unlike the former level, this one will even leave smoldering , second degree, burns upon the victim's body where the electricity struck. Machinery relying on electric parts are easily and effortlessly disabled by Electrocution at this level. At Class 3 it is entirely capable of killing people if you’re not careful.

Class 2: The most powerful level of this technique and only few have ever achieved. Upon becoming Class 2 users of Electrocution the user can easily gain the advantage on multiple opponents at once. The user can choose to release his technique from one or two hands or if Mastered from their entire bodies, releasing multiple forked arcing bolts of electricity to attack up to three foes at once. As the beams are forked they can jump between enemies, meaning one man can hit three people at once if they are close together. When the Class 2 version is fired, it doesn’t stop until the user either dies or wills it to stop. Multiple, hindering, third degree burns will cover the victim's body, often leaving them a steaming mess. The electrical power this technique is comparable to a lightning bolt, making it absolutely devastating against people. Continued and multiple exposure to this attack can cause someone to have cardiac arrest or completely disintegrate them.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): Using the technique is rather simple. One simply focuses their reiatsu into their hands and imagines lightning. Its a technique that gives hardly any sign of its preparation, making it an extremely useful surprise attack.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) A technique this powerful requires equally powerful drawbacks, and this technique has its own hindering drawbacks that makes someone think twice before using it. As the user is using his own arm(s) as the conduits for the technique, constant exposure to such high amounts of electricity is damaging. While the Class 4 version of this technique is far more lenient than its other versions, it can still cause numbing in the hand using it if used four times within seven posts. The Class 3 version is not so forgiving, however. The technique can be used safely twice before any of the limb damaging effects happen. Burning of the hands and arms is commonly seen after being used twice, as well as numbing of the arm that hinders its ability to be adequately used in combat. The numbness will recover after four posts. The Class 2 version of this technique though is the most damaging. It can only safely be used once, and anymore runs the risk of permanently damaging the user. Continued use of the Class 2 Electrocution would result in sever, third degree, burns across the length of the arm(s) that conduct this technique. While the Class 2 version can safely be used once, it will still result in the casters arm going completely numb and becoming partially paralyzed for four posts.

It has other limitations as well. Electrocution only has an effect range of ten meters, meaning an enemy has to be relatively close for it to even be effective. As this power is using pure electricity, it can be grounded by things that would normally ground electricity. Spiritual steel is able to partially block most of the power behind this attack, effectively halving most of the power but only if the target can block it in time. Both Hierro and Blut provide a natural defense against this technique, but follow Offensive Stat and Class Clash rules.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): A supremely powerful flame that is practically eternal, and another gift from his Majesty. This technique allows the user to draw in reishi and purify it by cleansing it of impurities. By doing so, the user can create an immaculate spirit particle that he or she can condense tightly. This results in blue fire that can burn any form of spiritual particles or energy. It can burn and destroy things that were once believed to be non-flammable, such as the rocks and sand of Hueco Mundo.

The technique can fire as a projectile, but can take on different forms depending on the user. One user might choose to fire it as a stream of fire from their finger while another by throw a fireball or create a swathe of fire. Regardless of form or quality, whatever spiritual particle or energy comes in contact with the flame will be set ablaze and used as a source of fuel for the fire itself. Those with bodies composed of spiritual particles/energy (e.g. Shinigami, Arrancar, etc) are highly susceptible to the blue fire. It will attach to a spiritual being and ignite anything of spiritual origins. It will steadily burn away clothes, armor, skin, techniques (such as kido, including barriers), and the spiritual body itself. Once the flames touch an opponent, they will find themselves fatigued for it is burning not only their body, but their energy. These flames are impossible to extinguish unless the opponent pays the same amount as the user forfeited for the technique. If an opponent does not have the total amount of reiatsu to spend, they can pay 90% of their existing reiatsu.

If the flames miss an opponent, they will continue to burn and spread, unless the objects are of human origins and exist in the human-world. In the soul society and hueco mundo, the flames will have a rich source of fuel and burn eternally, until the thread ends or extinguished by an opponent. The flame's merciless destruction of spiritual energy can leave an enemy fatigued simply from close proximity.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): The base cost for use is 800, but the user can choose to forfeit additional reiatsu in order to increase the cost effect inflicted on the opponent. The user can spend up to an additional 1200 reiatsu, which will require the opponent to spend the total reiatsu forfeited in order to extinguish the flames.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc): Does not affect other Quincy, Fullbringers, or other humans bodies. A user with 50% reiatsu advantage can extinguish the flames immediately without any cost, though they will still incur damage from initial contact.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): Creates massive arrows from spiritual particles in the atmosphere. These are created without the use of a bow and capable of being controlled both mentally and with hand-gestures. They are roughly eight feet long. The arrow’s shaft is thin, but the tip of the arrow is large and resembles a naginata spear. The end of the arrow is in the shape of a Hagal rune.

A total of 10 arrows can be created and fired simultaneously. The user has the ability to summon these arrows instantaneously as long as they have the reiatsu to provide the technique. The user can create arrows up to a distance of 20 feet from their body. These arrows, however, are not ordinary arrows and have intense force behind them and can be used to pierce almost anything, including armor and kido. They travel at a speed of 600 if controlled by mentally and 800 when using hands.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): This technique can be activated by offering 400 reiatsu.

Technique Description and Effects:
A useful technique whose use had been lost through the ages and only recently rediscovered, Ransotengai is an ability that allows the user to create strings made from spiritual particles. These strings can be attached to the user's body, allowing parts of them to be moved around in a manner similar to puppets. One string can control a single limb, or the head, and one string is attached to each finger, giving a total of ten strings. Doing so, however, leaves the hands occupied and unable to be used for other abilities while this is active. The main use for this is to enable the use of a limb that has been damaged, or to counteract torn muscles or broken bones to ensure that one can still move, albeit with great pain. Upon mastery of this technique, it becomes that much more versatile; these strings can now be attached to another person besides the user, though this is only able to function as a support technique due to the frailty of the strings.

How to use technique:
Draw in Reiatsu and turn it into fine strings that attach themselves to the user or, at mastery, to another person.

Technique Drawbacks
The first drawback to this technique is that while it enables the use of damaged parts of the body, it doesn't necessarily restore function as much as it simply puppets the area about. Steady pain is a symptom from this, along with a reduction in effectiveness; any physical attacks made through a puppeted limb is treated as though its offensive power is halved. Additionally, any drawbacks that damage the already-damaged area are either doubled in potency or advanced one tier, whichever is worse, depending on the technique.

The second drawback comes when puppeting another person; these strings are frail, and can be broken easily. When attempting to grab a hostile foe, this technique is simply shattered by pulling against it, as it requires voluntary permission to be controlled. They can also be snapped by any attack with half the user's Reiatsu Strength or more when used to puppet another person, as a foe can simply sever the connection by striking the strings. This doesn't work when the user is puppeting themselves, as the strings flow along their body, so there's no way of stopping it short of severing the limbs.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):
This technique takes Energy Generate, Output, Movement, and Willpower, and renders them in the most potent way imaginable. It is, even amongst the Martial Disciplines, a terrifying technique, and one that makes all fighters stronger. This technique, when activated, reflects the user’s soul, in the most pure form. It creates a form based on this soul, and animates it. It gives the soul the will and physical power to fight. It gives the user an ally, who will Stand besides them at all points in time.

When this technique is learned, the user records how they truly see themselves, what the most true version of them is in their mind’s eye. This is given a human body, and becomes a figure that they can always dimly see out of the corner of their eye, although when the technique is not active, the figure, which will now be referred to as the Stand, is not capable of doing anything, and reacts only to the users actions, not the outside world’s.

When the user choses to do so, they may summon this Stand into the world, giving them independent action. The act of creating the Stand is one that utilizes reiatsu, but once the Stand exists, it no longer is reiatsu. Nor is it flesh and blood. It is a construct of pure Will, and can affect the world as such. Ergo, techniques that destroy reiatsu do not destroy the Stand, although suppression techniques can prevent it from existing in the first place. The Stand appears in eyesight of the user, no more than 200 feet away.

This Stand is invisible to the naked eye, as it is a manifestation of Willpower. Anyone with 50 ES can see it’s outline, and 100 ES can easily detect it’s features. Even if someone lacks the ES to detect the Stand, it is easy to observe the Stand’s effects on the outside world, as anything that it intends to interact with, anything it demonstrates the Will to push or move, is affected accordingly. So, as the Stand walks with purpose, someone would notice concrete cracking, and footprints appearing. As the Stand clashes it’s will against another person’s body, the wounds that appear will be visible.

The Stand possesses it’s own physical stats, although it doesn’t possess spiritual stats, nor does it possess sensory stats or specialty stats. It uses the User’s senses and guidance in order to know where to move and what to interact with. It possesses no reiatsu pool, but ignores cutback, as if constantly utilizing Push. Although it has no Reiatsu Strength, it cannot be affected with status conditions, although barriers and defenses of course can stop it.

The Stand’s physical stats are that of a Brave type, equal in Level to the user of the technique, as if it had 300 in both stats. Once this technique is mastered, that is raised to 400. The user, when they learn the technique, picks whether they want Strength or Speed to receive the higher boost. The Stand does not grow tired, no matter how fast it moves, or how frequently it does so. It’s attacks can be blocked, but it itself cannot be damaged. It lasts for 10 posts.

How to use technique (How is it activated?):
When learning the technique, one must find the perfect, idealized mental image of themselves, and chose to devote their soul to either Speed or Strength. They also must know all four basic HWD techniques.

When activating this technique, the user must call out the phrase “Stand Beside Me!” and select a location to conjure their Stand. Then, by utilizing their reiatsu, and concentrating Willpower, they can render the Stand into being.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)
This technique, first of all, can only be used twice in one thread. It costs 650 reiatsu to use, a hefty amount, even by the standards of such a powerful technique. Most of the weaknesses of the technique, however, come in the form of restrictions upon the user. While the Stand cannot grow tired, the user receives half of the stamina taxation that the Stand would’ve received, preventing them from going all out. Additionally, if the Stand would be damaged, the user receives the damage instead, wounds appearing on the corresponding part of their body. This only applies to physical damage. The Stand also relies on the user to see and make decisions, and if the user is impaired, the Stand is much less effective. If the user falls unconscious or dies, the Stand instantly vanishes. At the end of the 10 posts, the User must also pay an additional 150 reiatsu to maintain contact with the Stand, if they wish to use it again later in the thread.

Technique Description and Effects:
The greatest defensive ability known to Quincy, Sankt Zwinger is a powerful defensive spell that draws upon the might of the Holy Emperor. When activated, this technique sends up a flare of bright white Reiatsu around the user, which expands into a field of energy surrounding them. This field can vary in size, with a minimum range of ten meters, and an infinite expansive range depending on costs paid. Taking on the form of a holy wall mounted with Quincy crosses and shining with a divine light, Sankt Zwinger is a powerful defense that can block any techniques of inferior Class that do not possess double the user's offensive stat, or techniques of equal Class that do not possess superior offensive stat. Class 0 techniques bypass this defense.

However, a defensive wall is only the first part of this technique. In truth, though the wall absorbs and negates any and all attacks thrown at it, it is not actually a solid barrier, allowing an opponent to simply walk right in. Doing so seals their fate, however, as any organic being besides the user caught within Sankt Zwinger is immediately broken apart and dissolved into ash, their lives forfeit and their Reiatsu given to the technique user. Even allies are not immune to this effect, making this a technique deadly to friend and foe alike.

How to use technique:
Speak the incantation, as with Ginto, but the spiritual energy comes from within rather than from a Ginto tube. Release the energy at the range desired.

Technique Drawbacks
Despite its power, this technique has a number of drawbacks. For one, it has an initial cost of 1200 Reiatsu, and then a per-post cost afterward. The per-post cost starts at 500 per post if the barrier's range is only ten meters in radius, and for every ten meters further, that cost increases by another 500 per post. The activation of this technique also has a ten-second activation time, giving foes the chance to flee being caught within the technique at its start. Finally, this technique cannot break down foes of a higher Class, or foes with double the user's offensive stat.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): The user can spread their Blut outside their body and with it the possibility for life. When the user’s blut comes in contact with non-living matter it can begin to reshape it and form a body that stands 7’ tall with a large, muscular frame. The blut not only creates a body, but breathes life into the husk, creating a Blut Homunculus. The homunculus in question can be summoned at different class levels, each requiring a different reiatsu amount and offering unique attributes. The Blut Homonculus is available for a total of three posts. The homunculus’ dimensions and duration of activation are static across all levels. It is able to benefit from blut vene starting at class 3, but this can still be bypassed by a secondary release. The homonculus and the user share the same field of vision. That is, what the user sees it sees and what it sees the user can see. It can be commanded mentally and verbally to do things, but predominately reacts based on a mental link between the two. Its reactions are also based on the user's sensory stats, including instinct, senses and ES. In other words, it can protect and attack with the same level of acuteness. It can essentially sense when the user is in danger.

At class five, the user can summon a homunculus that lacks intelligence and resembles more of a bloodthirsty juggernaut. This class costs 250 reiatsu. Its stats for this level are as follows: Strength: 300, Speed: 200, SpPR:0, Instinct:0, Senses:0, ES:0, HE: 0 – RS is equivalent to the user of the technique and remains that way across all levels.

At class four the cost is 350 reiatsu. Strength:400, Speed: 250, SpPR:0, Instinct:0, Senses:0, ES:0, HE: 0

At class three it costs 450 reiatsu to activate. Strength: 500, Speed: 300, SpPR:0, Instinct:0, Senses:0, ES:0, HE: 0

At class two, the summoned homunculus is now even more lethal and now has access to a basic Quincy abilities. In other words, it can summon a crow-bow made of reishi and fire a total of five bolts at a time. Due to his size, these bolts are roughly four feet long and capable of severing limbs and piercing armor. The bolts count as the class summoned and use the user’s RS. Each of the arrows costs 60 reiatsu and is siphoned from the user of the technique. This class costs 600 reiatsu to activate. Strength: 500, Speed: 400, SpPR:0, Instinct:0, Senses: 0, ES: 0, HE: 0

At class one, the homunculus is at its most lethal. Bolts from its crossbow now cost 70 each. It can also wield a solid blade made from reishi, which costs the user 70 to manifest. If blut vene is bypassed with a secondary release, any damage dealt to the homunculus can be restored quickly by gathering nearby materials to repair the body. This costs the user 100 each time. Only one is capable of being created at one time using blut. The user must pay the appropriate amount for whatever class that is summoned and, depending on class, the user's reiatsu is taken whenever a bolt or similar is used.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): A technique that is a curse upon an enemies. The user can activate their blut and offer a portion of it to another, allowing it to leave their body and enter another’s. The characteristic veins of Blut can extend from the user’s body by only five feet. They can enter an opponent if the user touches them or if the vein tendrils are capable of touching the skin.
When bestowed upon an enemy this will enter the veins and spread gradually across eight posts. The purpose is to cause terrible bleeding by rupturing blood vessels. As the infection progresses, the opponent will literally be drained off their blood, unless they are emptied and left for dead. The course of the blut infection is outlined below.

1. Blut will be observably present beneath the skin in the veins, moving independent of the body. It will create a bluish-glow across the body’s veins. From the moment of infection the opponent will experience incredible pain. It will feel like the blut is drilling through their body and their skin.

2. The skin will have become so sensitive to the blut infection that it is hyper-sensitive to touch, which includes clothing, armor, and even holding a weapon. Even the gentlest of materials or lightest of touches will feel like severe burns. A three in pain tolerance is able mitigate this side-effect, though they will still experience this pain intermittently.

3. Intense and random stabbing pains will be experienced, as if they were jabbed with a knife is various locations. The capillaries at the surface of the skin will begin eroding and cause pooling of blood under the skin. If the opponent is cut the wound will hemorrhage more quickly due to damage blood vessels. An opponent will begin to feel fatigued from the effects of the blut.

4. The walls of blood vessels across the body have thinned causing internal bleeding in various parts of the body. Blood loss has prevented the body from receiving steady blood to vital organs, which begins impairing an opponent’s senses and ability to concentrate and plan.

5. The body’s muscles have begun to weaken due to poor blood flow and tissue across the body is dying. Blood has begun seeping through the skin and drenching clothing. Eyes will begin pooling with small amounts of blood as will the ears and mouth. This will distort vision and complicate hearing.

6. Fatigue will have greatly intensified. Battling will be tiring and exhaust the opponent greatly, reducing their ability to launch continuous attacks, whether those are techniques, hand-to-hand fighting, or weapon use. Their body is heavily leaking blood, enough that they leave blood behind wherever they go and stain everything they touch. Their skin is bleeding and blood has pooled considerably on the brain and beginning in the lungs, causing labored breathing.

7. Blood is pooling in the back of the throat, practically choking an opponent. Skin has begun to split and peel off from being soaked by so much blood. All friction causing the skin to tear, which includes holding onto objects and even clothing. The opponent is in pure agony and high-class techniques run the risk of severely damaging the body due to its weakened state.

8. This post signals the end of anyone infected with this form of blut. All the vessels in their body has dissolved or ruptures and their blood drains from every part of their body. Essentially, a fountain of blood soaks the ground and they are drained dry, as nothing is left to contain their blood.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): Can activate by offering 400 reiatsu.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc): If an opponent has 200+ HE, they can delay the effects of the technique for two posts and the effects will not exceed post five effects. If an opponent has 400+ HE, they will be able to completely thwart the technique. If an opponent has 50% RS they are unaffected by the tech. If a user has poison resistance one, they can halt the effects for a single post. They get one additional post for each point in poison resistance, up to three posts for which they can postpone. The user does not have access to blut vene for five posts following activation of this technique.

• Father - Alexander's father was certainly something of a hard ass. A man with a stick up his butt about following family tradition. He always believed that a Alistair should die on the battlefield rather than waisting away at home.
• Mother - She wasn't much better than Alex's father. Sure she was much nicer, but she was also really deep into the demon killing shit.
• Emperor - Alexander has sworn his life to serving the Emperor for saving him from despair. The Emperor promised Alexander power and opportunity.

History:

Where does it all begin? We could always go all the way back and talk about how the founding Mommy and Daddy Alistair’s first conceived their first born child. Actually, maybe we don’t need to go back that far. But we should definitely talk a little about the Alistair family first before we get into the star of the show. Do a little world building. Set up the foundation for the lore. All that, y’know. For over a thousand years the Quincy have existed, in various clans, all created for the single purpose of killing Hollows and protecting themselves, and other humans, against the invisible threat. As the clans began to disperse across the world and individualize themselves, one such Clan broke away from standard traditions and set itself apart from the rest.

While the other clans went to work slaying Hollows and doing whatever business it was they chose to do, the Alistair’s set their eyes on something much darker and evil than just forsaken souls. What set the family on this path was one incident in the still developing North America’s. The Alistair family once lived in the America’s, choosing to travel overseas from Europe while the New World was still being created. They felt that this new, growing, civilization needed a Quincy clans watchful eye to protect them from hungry Hollows. However, the year 1590 was when everything changed for the family.

Many scholars believe that the Lost Colony of the Roanoke is explained away by the colonists migrating with local Native Americans, but the Alistair’s became aware of the true fate of those people. A presence emerged within the colony. It was discovered that what was responsible for the disappearance of the tribe was not of this realm. Nor was it from Hueco Mundo. It had been something Hell. A monstrosity that called itself Croatan, abducted the living colonists before returning to Hell with them. The discovery of this event and reclaiming a Artifact left at Roanoke was what sparked a change in the Alistair. No longer were they a family that hunted Hollows, they would instead become a force to fight these new mysterious monsters.

Many years, and generations, were spent gathering the knowledge needed to create a warrior dynasty. Little by little and piece by piece knowledge was gained and information was established. The Alistairs of old spent most of their lives gathering all the information they could on the truths of Hell from any source they could. Whether this be Shinigami or some forbidden knowledge in the Human World. As their information grew so too did they begin training their children. They began to mold their sons and daughters into warriors destined to fight these monstrosities from Hell. As they searched, though, they soon began to find the very thing they sought. They found demons hiding in the real world, hunting them to eradicate them from existence.

Artifacts of Hell were recovered, demonic plots were stopped, monsters preying on people were slaughtered. The Alistair’s aimed to keep the Human World from the things that should never set foot in it. They became secretive, unsure of who they could trust outside the family as Hell attempted many times to harm the family. They became pariahs of the other Quincy clans. Though they were respected for their task and strength, many rumors were whispered about what the clan did behind their closed doors. At some point the Clan relocated from the Carolina’s and to Europe in order to escape Shinigami detection, not wanting all of their knowledge and the artifacts of Hell they safeguarded to end up in Soul Societies hands.

And finally, we get to Alexander. The last living member of this warrior family. Alex was born as the youngest son of Credo and Sophia Alistair. He was the youngest of three brothers. Alexanders life was filled with training and study. Every day of his formative years was spent with his family, uncles and aunts and parents and distant cousins, all drilling into him his purpose as an Alistair. Hunt the minions of Hell. This was his mission. He knew nothing else. Because this section is boring and a chore to go through, let's speed things up. When Alexander was twelve his world was changed.

The Alistair Manor was attacked in the night. Alexander awoke in his room only to find himself trapped in the room. Managing to escape his room, Alex found that the Alistair manor was under attack by demons from Hell. Saika and Hason stormed the halls, fighting the Alistair’s and slaughtering them. The young boy managed to escape before returning to the charred remains of his home a few days later. There he waited. In grief and agony the boy cried. He cried until he was found by that Man. The Man offered him sympathy, shared with him in grief, and offered to give Alexander the power to avenge his family. Alexander went with him.

At the time, Alexander didn’t know who this was. This man, who appeared as quietly as the wind, wept with the child and held him in his arms. Pressed against this man's chest, Alexander felt warm. He felt comfort. ”It is okay to cry. It is okay to feel grief. Let it all out until it no longer remains. And in its place, fill that void left inside you with determination and resolve. Rise from these ashes as a hero of justice. Justice for your family.” the Man told him, before Alexander left with him. Who this Man was, was someone who was far more than just a mere man. He was the walking, living, God of the Quincy people. The one that possessed the Light. The Emperor.

Alexander joined the Vandenreich at a young age. Children were not a common sight within the Silbern, and even less so as Soldat’s. Much of Alexander’s youth, through his formative teenage years, was spent in training. He trained within the Vandenreich to further strengthen his abilities. He was known for his recklessness, and his seemingly lack of care for his body. It was always a common sight to see the boy’s hands bound in bandages to mend the wounds from repeated arrow firing. Anger was what fueled the Alistair. But...at some point...something began to change in the boy. When he first arrived he was looked at as “just another hate filled youth” that populated the Soldat ranks. But Alexander began to break that mold as he grew older. The scowl that he always wore turned into a smile.

Alex became known as the clown. Always telling jokes, always cracking wise, always taking things less than seriously. He became infuriating to his instructors and a fresh of breath air and entertainment to his comrades. His attitude often got him in trouble, but Alex knew how to tow the line between being beaten and being executed for disrespect. As Alex grew within the ranks of the Vandenreich and finally reached the position of Private. Upon reaching this rank he was granted audience with the Emperor Himself. Being within the presence of the Emperor was enough to actually silence the Alistair. The Emperor presented him with a gift. A pendant, recovered from the ruins of the Alistair manor, which set Alex on the path that he now treads.

The gift given to him was a unholy object known as the “Fragment of the Black Key”. Alistair’s, upon graduating their training and being appointed Demon Hunters, would receive these necklaces. The power of the necklace was that it reacted to the presence of Hell. It was what allowed a Alistair to properly hunt the damned creatures that escaped their imprisonment. The Emperor had gifted Alexander this charm in recreation of the graduation ceremony. In his own way, the Emperor upheld Alexander’s family values and sent the Quincy off to continue his families work. The Emperor told the young Quincy that when he was needed he would be called upon, and Alex swore to answer the summons.

Now Alex hunts. He stalks the corners of the world, from civilization to wasteland, searching for the monsters that have escaped hell. He’s not often seen in Silbern because of this. He fights and eliminates the monsters that his family swore to eradicate. The Black Cloaked Saika. The Monsterous Hason. And the Abominations Themselves, Akki. When the Quincy is in the Silbern, he has his own little home office that he’s set up in the city rather than living within the palace. The Quincy doesn’t like the palace all too much. He prefers his dingy little club.
