He was sure that this arrow was going to be her undoing. It seems more real than not. But clearly, it was not more than it was real. Ghost truly had this one all planned out. As he sent the massive arrow at her. He would be a little taken aback as she started to spin.
This little trick of hers put a little confusion on his face.

As the arrow made a direct hit on her. He saw that it made such a hit on her. But he must have been blind as the spin she just performed. It would repel his very own arrow right back at him. Such a beautiful moment if there ever was one. However, Ghost was quick to react as he sent the second arrow at her. He was sure to cause a frenzy doing such a thing.

He would take this time to jump to yet another building. This feat was a small one seeing how close they were to each other. The arrows would clash with each other however she would find that the second one he sent would be much stronger than the first one. A direct insult to her prowess it was. As his arrow still had its full power.
"To each their own my dear girl. Have you ever heard of the ant and the grasshopper story? I find it to be a beautiful read. You truly should take a crack at it."

Now he was getting closer to her being only nine meters away. He would aim at her with his fingers. Then let the third arrow go free. With one more remaining and if he was not stopped. He would continue to move around the buildings jumping from one building to the next. He would be wise to flip and be as quiet as he could. As he looked on down at her.

He had two of his massive arrows coming at her. So just in case she tried to block one another was coming her way. He made sure to keep the last one on standby. As he looked on he would be all smiles. As she would hear his echoes throughout the back ally. "Oh my, how incredible that you were able to deflect my arrow. It seems you had an umbrella after all. But can it truly survive the rain? Let us put that theory to the test." Ghost would be all smiles as he looked on at the Soul Reaper.

Even as the arrow struck Iroka's Zanmai no Hansha and was repelled, the Shinigami kept twirling her meteor hammer, her eyes fixed on the Quincy. He still had at least three more arrows, after all. The Quincy responded by launching his second arrow and jumping to another building. The second arrow dispelled the first, and came at Iroka, as he spoke of a story the Shinigami was not sure she had heard of. Did it have anything to do with the rain he was talking about earlier?

As she had her eyes on him and could see what he was doing, Iroka was already moving as Ghost was launching his arrow. As the arrow did not cover a wide expanse, dodging it would not require having to cover large distances. As such, a well-timed Shunpo would be enough. The Shinigami vnished from her previous position a split second before the arrow lodged into the road, reappearing a few feet away. Iroka noticed that he was coming closer, though she was not sure why. But coming closer would be to her advantage.

Ghost released his third arrow. Doing another Flash Step seemed counterproductive. Unless this was a different technique, which it did not seem to be, Iroka was going to take a rinse-and-repeat strategy. She simply formed another Zanmai no Hansha, angling the shield so that when the arrow bounced off it, it would fly in the direction of Ghost's new position. Chances were that he would likely follow her example by repeatting strategies, and use the fourth arrow to deflect the third, but that was his prerogative.

"I'm not sure if I know any stories of ants and grasshoppers," the Shinigami admitted. "Did the grasshopper show up and pick an unprovoked fight with the ant? Or was it the ant that picked the fight with the grasshopper? Also, I am not sure how this story has anything to do with rain, which I believe we were talking about previously. Unless the grasshopper summoned rain in its fight with the ant... or you're simply trying to confuse me with unnecessary small talk."

In any case, Iroka didn't think it fair to just leave the Quincy traipsing all over the place without having anything of his own to deal with. He seemed to be smiling too much at present. And now he was talking about umbrellas. "You say the most incredulous things, Entotsu-dono," Iroka answered, an exasperated note in her voice. "Or you may need glasses. I don't have an umbrella. And umbrellas don't deflect arrows. You need to make more sense."

Turning her shoulder, so that the axis of her body shifted, Iroka punched her other hand, the one that wasn't twirling the head of her meteor hammer, at Ghost. "Sōkatsui!" A bright blue burst of fire exploded forth from her clenched fist, aimed at the Quincy. Since he liked throwing things at people, hopefully he would like things being thrown at him in turn. She was interested in seeing how he would respond to the Sōkatsui, though she felt it would have just been easier for everyone if they settled grievances by talking about them. She had no idea what grievances she had caused, though.

Technique Description and Effects: Iroka grips her zanpakutō firmly and begins to spin one of the heads. An opalescent shield forms in front of the circular path of the spinning weapon, about 3 meters in radius. The shield is ethereal, and will phase through solid constructs without harming them in any way. Physical attacks will also pass through the shield. Its true usefulness lies in the fact that any spiritual-based attack launched at it is reflected back at the caster, just as a mirror reflects light, although the power of the reflected attack is reduced by 50%. Close-range attacks that have a 'spiritual component' e.g. a flame-infused punch, will have their damage reflected, as they use spiritual energy, and the Zanmai no Hansha reflects spiritual energy of any kind. It can only reflect attacks of an OS up to Iroka's own, or below.
In Bankai, Iroka does not require to hold her zanpakutō to perform the Zanmai no Hansha; instead the floating mirror behind her reconstructs in front of her, and can grow as large as 20 x 20 meters in area, though Iroka can manipulate the size to be smaller, if she so desires. In Bankai, it can reflect attacks of an OS up to 1.5x Iroka's own.
Technique Drawbacks: Only one shield can be made at a time. It is useless against physical attacks. In Bankai, Gōmetsu Rin'nebari cannot be used while it is effective. The shield may only last for 2 posts before the reiatsu cost is needed to be repaid to recast it.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a more powerful version of Hado #31, releasing a fireball of blue flames that’s about half as large as an average person in size. The impact of this fireball leaves first-degree burns upon impact, and has more impact force than Hado #31.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 20% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 120 with incantation).

What a surprise as arrows two and three were no better than arrows number one. Ghost would look on as he gave a smile yet again. It seems her Zanpaktou was more than meets the eye. As it repealed things but was it her true power? This put him at a loss but he still wanted to go all out on it. As arrow number three came it would be too much to bear. As he sent the last arrow to clash at her.

His arrow was more stronger than hers and he noticed this. From the first go around they had. Ghost would see this and be enjoying himself. As he looked on he would see that the next clash repeated the first one. But alas his arrow proved the better of the two. Ghost would be no stranger to tricks as he saw her preparing the next attack. His large arrow would try to put a stop to that.

As it went right at her as the last one did. But looking on he saw that the fourth arrow would be engulfed by the blue fire. As it was weakened by his very own power. But this caused her power to take a hit itself. As he looked on he would simply use his speed to dodge the incoming blue fire. At this rate, they were going back and forth with each other.
This caused him to start to clap and clap is what he did. As he looked on at her he could tell she only entered combat when she needed to.

Ghost would then say to her with a caring tone. "Dear girl the moral of the ant and grasshopper story is that. Hard work pays off but battle means more than just throwing power around. It also cause for the use of the power of the mind. You see we both sent power at each other. We indeed made a large-scale of damage." If she looked around she would notice that the buildings had cracked marks all over them. The fight went just as Ghost wanted it to go.

Soon he would say to her in response to her remark about the umbrella. "As I said before do be careful it tends to rain an awful lot. Soon he would aim his bow into the sky and let off an arrow. Just then the arrow would explode the moment it went into the air which was right above the Soul Reaper. But the arrow was not meant for her rather it caused the buildings to break apart. Which causes the building to fall on the poor Soul Reaper.
"Such a beautiful moment in time if I do say so myself."

Ghost dodges the blue fire by weakening it. Via his arrow but it was destroyed as well. 

Ghost caused an explosion which made the building fall down upon his target.

It came to my attention that I did not take say the right amount of reishi used for my large arrows a total of 4/4 has been sent and 40×4 is 180. Plus the arrow was fire and explosion so 200 was taken away and I am at my right amount.

The grasshopper and ant story did not seem to have any correlation with what was going on. Yes, hard work was necessary for success, but what did that have to do with the Quincy who was shooting arrows at her? Well, he was jumping around an awful lot.... Realization struck Iroka, as her eyes and mouth slowly opened wide in a moment of epiphany. "Oh, I think I understand now," she said elatedly. "You're the grasshopper, because you jump around a lot!"

But then that would mean she was the ant. Was there a justification for that assessment? Perhaps it was because she was hardworking, and so that was why she was the ant. "Your evaluation of yourself as the grasshopper is very honest, and for that you have my commendation," the Shinigami said, absolutely missing the point of Ghost's parable. But she wasn't able to continue talking as the Quincy fired an arrow which exploded up above, destroying the buildings above Iroka.

This was getting out of hand. But Iroka was sure she could get out of this. She just had to be patient and time things right. She took in a deep breath, and then clapped, just as the debris from the building came crashing down. " Tansashō: Tsurigane!" An explosion of reiatsu surged outwards from her, blowing back the crashing slabs of concrete, and leaving the Shinigami unharmed.

Solemnly, she raised an open palm at the Quincy, and said, " Raikōhō!" As Ghost had destroyed the buildings around Iroka, she did not have to worry about hitting a lot of buildings when she fired her kidō spell aimed upwards at him, although she angled her shot such that it would fire into the open sky, if it missed him. "Do you even care that there might have been people in those buildings?" she asked, the anger evident in her voice. Iroka disliked killing, not to talk of when it was pointless. And possibly killing people because someone was fighting another was the height of pointless.

Description: Thrusting out a palm, the practitioner projects reiatsu from their hand to deal damage at a range of up to 10 meters. The beauty of this technique is its versatility, as the user can mold the reiatsu being projected in order to produce different results. As this technique utilizes reiatsu to attack, it does not require strength to deal damage, as is expected of a Shintenken technique. The varying styles with which reiatsu may be projected to perform Tansashō are as follows:
• Nejire (Warp): The most basic form of the Cinnabar Palm. The user projects a pulse of reiatsu on impact with a target to deal bludgeoning damage and push the target backwards
• Kū (Void): This is simply Nejire, but with the pulse of reiatsu projected so that it strikes at range, as opposed to a close-quarter strike. Effect is the same as Nejire.
• Tsurigane (Battle Gong): User performs Tansashō with both hands, while clapping them together. The resultant effect is a visible shockwave of rippling air which explodes outward from the user for up to ten meters. Anyone hit by the shockwave is sent flying, though it cannot be used as a shield. The shockwave has a characteristic Buddhist bell shape, hence its name.
Each form is learned with increase in proficiency. At Learned, user can use Nejire. Kū is usable at Proficient, and Tsurigane is usable at Mastered.
How to Use: User gathers reiatsu into their open palm and strikes a target, releasing the reiatsu on impact, or releasing the reiatsu before impact, to deliver a ranged attack.
Drawbacks: The major drawback of this technique is its range, which is a maximum of 10 meters. Also can only be used by Shintenken practitioners (must have at least 1 SkP devoted to Hakuda: Shintenken as a skill).

Technique Description and Effects: This spell is an advanced lightning-based technique, far larger than basic spells such as Byakurai, and its destructive force is increased as well. Upon release, this spell fires an enormous blast of electrical energy in a concentrated blast that devastates all before it.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 25% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 125 with incantation).

Alas, they ended up countering each other again. It was clear as day that the two were at a standstill. It would all depend on who runs low on their Reishi first. As the building debris falls towards her. The kido she released would make quick work of it.
But this only gave Ghost a chance to dodge it yet again. Which he did at full speed. But from the way she cast this attack.
He could tell it was a bit stronger than the other ones.

Ghost would now look on and be a bit sad than before. As he looked over at her he would start to walk toward a broken building. Well, he would walk toward what was left of it. As he leaned on the building he would slowly but surely light up his cigar yet again.
Simply watching the Soul Reaper and all her glory. More or less watching her Zanpaktou. It was quite something to behold. He truly had something to say about it.
But before he would use Hirenkyaku which increased his speed ten fold. This allowed him to dodge the incoming electric attack by stepping to the left side at blinding speeds. Soon he would then say to her. 

"Oh, dear girl I find it quite a surprise that you were able to send my power back at me. You see usually my targets dodge my prowess and not send it back at me. Your zanpaktou seems to be a perfect counter." He would stop for a brief moment and blow out cigar smoke.
" Ms.Munemasa Iroka of the 4th Division. You asked me a rare question of me earlier. You said to please treat you kindly. Those words to be uttered out of a Soul Reaper's lips. I find it very beautiful you see. A beautiful lie that is if I do say so myself. But you do not meet my conditions to go all out."

He would look on as he continued to speak. "You see I have a power so great it can take you out in mere moments. The only way to truly counter such a thing is if you had your bankai and even then my Fair Lady, it might not be enough." Soon he would pull out a Quincy weapon. Selee Schneide is what it was called. "Now then let us have one final round before the curtain calls my Fair Lady...." Soon he would ready himself this time moving to only about 5 meters right in front of her. As the Selee Schneide activates the Soul Reaper should see the Quincy Reishi form into a blade via his reshi.

Technique Type: Quincy Technique.

Technique Cost: 50, 300, or 600 Reiatsu.

Description: Analogous to the Shinigami Shunpo or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to many Quincy, it is faster than flash steps, though a Captain's superior speed in comparison to a Master Quincy's speed suggests that this is just a generalization. Using it in its base form increases speed 10x for a single step, and costs 50 Reiatsu. However, unlike Shunpo and Sonido, this can be used for a constant movement as well. Giving up 300 Reiatsu allows for a constant movement over the duration of one post at 2x speed. Giving up 600 Reiatsu allows constant movement over the duration of 3 posts of 3x speed.

How to Use: To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances.

Drawbacks: The speed increases from this technique do not apply to the user's entire body, rather just toward moving their legs, like one would expect from a stepping technique. Instead of one step, however, this movement remains constant.

Technique Description and Effects: Selee Schneide is the pinnacle of a Quincy's ability to absorb Reiatsu. When activated, a medium-length blade of Reiatsu is formed from the hilt. This blade vibrates at very high frequencies, and is capable of loosening the bonds between Spirit Particles, and then stealing the free Spirit Particles.

When the Selee Schneide is activated, it has an offensive stat of 0, regardless of the user. However, it cannot be overpowered by a technique of equal or inferior class, regardless of that technique's offensive stat. Instead, any technique that interacts with Selee Schneide has its offensive stat reduced by 100, and then the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 100. If the Selee Schneide interacts with a Reiatsu based being - such as a Shinigami, Arrancar, Hollow Akki, Rogue or Beast Clan - then the person struck loses 50 Reiatsu, and the Selee Schneide's offensive stat increases by 50. This includes when the Selee Schneide strikes an extension of that being's soul, such as part of their Zanpakuto or Ressurecion.

At any stage, the Selee Schneide can be fired by the user, using their standard bow, as an arrow. This arrow has an offensive stat and speed equal to that of the Selee Schneide at the time of firing.

How to use technique: Hold the Selee Schneide hilt in hand, and pay the appropriate Reiatsu Cost.

Technique Drawbacks: This technique requires the same amount of TTP as a Class 4 technique to learn. The Selee Schneide can only be activated at a Class equal to or lower than the user's. The Selee Schneide can only steal Reiatsu from techniques or beings whose Class is lower to, or equal to, the Class of the Selee Schneide. This technique requires a Selee Schneide hilt (item) to use, and each hilt can only be used once. The costs for activating the Selee Schneide is the same as normal Quincy arrows. It then costs the same amount of Reiatsu per post to maintain it.

Iroka was a little displeased to see how easily Entotsu had managed to avoid her Hadō. Still, she had to admit that he knew how to move around. It would be necessary to try to reduce the fellow's speed, if she could. At least, that way, she would be able to run away and he wouldn't be able to chase her. Otherwise, getting out of here could be a bit difficult. Unlike him, her interest was simply in getting safely out of there.

"Why does everyone have to be so aggressive?" the Shinigami muttered, watching the Quincy warily as he puffed out a plume of smoke. Yeah, his name was fitting, as far as she was concerned. More words were spoken, words that left Iroka confused. "I don't understand," she said honestly. "Why do you think I'm lying? I simply made a request, one you are unwilling to keep. And don't worry about going all out. I'm quite fine with not meeting your conditions."

Again he spoke of Iroka's Bankai. Which, according to him, she would need to conquer his hidden power. Seeing as she did not have Bankai, she was certainly not going to win this fight, by his words. "Forgive me if I don't believe you, kind sir," Iroka answered, looking unconvinced. "If indeed you had this great power, you should have used it by now to deal with me. As things stand, you are simply stalling for time, or trying to force me to be scared of you."

Her reasoning for this conclusion, although she did not tell Ghost, was simple. If indeed he had the power to defeat her in just moments, he would most likely have shown it somehow. Whether by blocking her attacks with his bare hands, or easily breezing past her defenses, or some other thing to show his supremacy. All he had displayed so far, was flowery rhetoric. In any case, Iroka was not going to start underestimating him now. He had many tricks up his sleeve, including the new weapon he had just revealed.

Entotsu called for them to have a final round. Iroka was fine with that. Fighting was such a bore, anyway. There was one thing she did not quite get, though. "Do you have speaking curtains?!" she asked in disbelief, which would have been interpreted as mockery, except for the utter amazement on her face, as she misconstrued Ghost's figure of speech. It was, of course, peak Iroka behavior to tend to take clauses and phrases literally.

Entotsu drew closer, but Iroka did not seem worried that he was closing the distance. Her mind was on other things. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait!" she said hurriedly. "Why do you have talking curtains? Is that a Quincy thing or a you thing? And what sort of voice does your curtain have? I expect that if it's made of some thick brocade, it would be a baritone. That would be right, because curtains aren't usually made of light stuff, in which case the curtain's voice timbre would be more soprano-ish...."

If Entotsu came close enough to use his strange sword weapon, Iroka would attack him while he made his attack, attempting to offer a less critical part of her body to take the attack, while she would aim a kick at his knee. Dodging while attacking was practically impossible, and she was yet to see someone pull off such a feat, so hopefully she would capitalize on his attack. As for the damage, Iroka hoped she could tank it. No, she was sure she could tank it.

This was where her defensive and supportive weapon had to come in handy. Even though physically, she was delicate, Iroka had enough strength of will to power through pain and make an attack of her own. And she was a master of knowledge of the human body, such that she could make apparently the lightest strikes to cause crippling damage. If her kick hit, Iroka intended for it to dislocate the Quincy's knee. Running about would be that much harder with such a hobble in place.

Ghost was clear as tired of this one. She seems to have the innocence of a child and brain as well. No that was because the Soul Society lacked a poorer education cause this. He it truly can not just be her fault. However, he had to protest her when she said he wanted to force her to fear him. This caused him to let out a little laugh.
As he did not seek to cause her to fear him.

But to understand him in the long run. To understand his Emperor if anything. Ghost would hear her question and with all of this infrastructure of what a soul reaper was. He would simply zone her out. As his special ability can make even a powerful Vasto Lord fall. She asked about his speech pattern. He would simply say to her. " I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you. But I do leave you with this. Beware the Quincy that is known as the Death Dealer."

Soon he started to walk toward her getting extremely closer and closer. If she listened closely she could hear him singing. "London bridges fallen down fallen down. London bridges fallen down fallen down my fair lady."
As he takes his blade he aims to slice her across the shoulder. Giving he is using his right arm and hand. The blade would be aimed at the Soul Reaper's left shoulder and going down to her right side waist. If it was a trade for a trade. Ghost would be able to take damage as well.
But he would not fall down or over. Although he was not the tanking type. He still was able to hold his own at melee even if it was for the moment.

"Uh, okay," the Shinigami said, though her tone of voice made it obvious that she understood nothing of what Entotsu was saying. Why was he warning her about some Quincy called the Death Dealer? It wasn't like she was going out of her way to look for Quincy to fight or something. The information seemed absolutely random, but people were strange with all the ways they communicated. Like singing the weird song about a bridge in Europe falling.

"Shouldn't someone be going to check on the falling bridge?" Iroka asked, some consternation in her voice. "Falling bridges sound dangerous. And humans don't know how to walk on air. And people could be under the bridge. And the loss of civil architecture could-- eep! " In spite of the yelp she made as the Quincy made his attack, Iroka was anything but unprepared, nor was she powerless against it.

Sometimes it was a blessing to be small and physically unimposing. Iroka suspected that if she was bigger, or possessed great physical strength, Entotsu would be unwilling to close the distance with her like he had decided to. Him coming in close meant he was either a very skilled close-quarter combatant, or he underestimated the carrot top. While Iroka did not know too much about Quincy, she did know that on average, they were well trained in long range combat. So she had made a sort of gamble, regarding his close-quarter prowess.

Even then, it wasn't all a blind gamble. Iroka was too intelligent to simply leave such assumptions to chance alone. First, she had taken notice of the fact that Entotsu had attacked her with long-range attacks. Next, she had been able to make a rough estimate of his strength and skill levels, thanks to her keen aptitude for making deductions in combat (Battle Analysis:3). He had seemed to be overall somewhere around her level, if not weaker than Iroka, but certainly not stronger, in an overall sense. So she had not been scared when he had come in close.

The Seele Schneider cut into Iroka's shoulder, but went no further, as she checked the Quincy's attacking forearm by lifting her own beneath it, halting the motion, which would have otherwise resulted in a grievous injury. But she had achieved her purpose. The kick to Ghost's knee would dislocate his knee cap, making it impossible to move swiftly with that leg, without incurring severe pain. If Iroka had not made the attack as he came in to perform his slash, perhaps she would have been able to parry his attack sooner. But that mattered little.

She had the Quincy where she wanted him. It was time to press her advantage. The Shinigami aimed another kick at the Quincy's other leg, even as she twisted her arm outwards to push his sword-wielding hand further away from her. With her attack on his knee, unless Entotsu was capable of muscling through pain, or somehow moving his body without feeling sensations, he would be much less likely to dodge this kick, even if he wanted to.

Iroka was patient. That was her way of fighting.

The Soul Reaper was up close and in his personal space. Ghost knew he had a very good chance at carrying out his plan. Sure he was in pain as his knee just went out. But it was not broken just not working like it should. Ghost would give a smile as his weapon was still nearly in her. Although she tried her best to remove it. It was all part of his plan to get her at this very moment. A moment that he shall not underestimate or let pass.

Blood was all he needed her blood even let it was small or large he just needed it. Ghost would look on as his Reishi would start to come around the blade of his. Erdspalter was now being activated. As the blood of the soul Reaper forms with the Reishi. This causes the blade to become five times its original size. As the red and blue aura combine on the blade. Ghost would feel yet another sharp pain.

Right in his other knee but alas he would press down on her shoulder. He was going to give her yet another blow for blow. But this time he was going to take her arm with him. If anything it should give her a very deep cut if she doesn't lose an arm. However, he would lose his mobility after this swing. As he attacked at the same time as her. Ghost would look on with a smile on his face and then would stumble back.

As he held the Erdspalter blade he would be on the ground sitting on but. Barely two meters away. As he was breathing heavily he would then say to her. "My...fair...lady...you...are...as...strong...as...you...are...beautiful." He was not done not by a long shot. But you know what they say. Appear weak when strong and strong when weak.

Things were getting a little bit hairy. Although Iroka had succeeded in taking out Entotsu's other knee, it seemed the Quincy had plans of his own. His weapon suddenly seemed to enlarge, and he made another slash, aiming at the same shoulder he had attacked previously. Apparently this was becoming a game of attrition, but unless this fellow had specific advantages to playing such a game, he was in Iroka's territory. All she needed to do was ensure she retained her advantage.

Iroka let out a scream of pain, as the large sword cut deeper into her shoulder. If she resisted it, things would probably only get worse. So the Shinigami drew back, while allowing the weight of the blade to move her, throwing her down on one knee. If she took another injury such as this, things would not bode well for her. It would be wise to avoid taking further damage at this point. And if she could prevent the Quincy from hitting her again, something she was sure she could manage better now, she would surely turn the tides.

The Quincy had stumbled back himself, and was now sitting on the ground, even as he praised her strength and beauty. Iroka was not sure how to take the compliments, though. "If you really admire me so, why are you trying to kill me?" she asked, her expression a mixture of pain and confusion. "Someone once said that when someone finds another attractive, they ask them to dance, or give them food, or do things to make the other person favorably disposed to them. You say I'm beautiful, but you're trying to kill me. How does that work?"

In any case, it was time for words to give way to action. With some effort, Iroka rose to her feet, as she stepped out of range of the Quincy's sword and placed one of the heads of her meteor hammer weapon on her shoulder. "Han'nyagake!" The head of her Shikai weapon glowed with a spectral light, as the aura of a fish formed on it. As the weapon was touching Iroka, when the aura of the fish launched, it his the Shinigami at point blank range. Ghost would notice the deep wound on her shoulder close up.

She had less reiatsu now, but her injuries were now almost nonexistent. This was the strength of Shugyoku Hirenaga, Iroka's weapon. While it was useless in direct combat application, Iroka could heal herself as needed, as long as she had reiatsu to spare. And reiatsu she had to spare. As for the Quincy, it was expedient to put an end to the battle if she could. She used Flash Step to increase distance between herself and him, and pointed an open hand towards the Quincy. "Raikōhō!"

Now Entotsu would understand why Iroka had sought to cripple him. It would be quite difficult for him to evade the enormous lightning blast as he had done earlier. And if he had a shield, well, that would be a learning experience for Iroka. And if the shield was unidirectional, she could always change her position and attack again with the same kidō. No dishonor in repeating techniques.

Technique Description and Effects: Iroka creates auras on the heads of her meteor hammer, firing any of them like a projectile. Their range is 100 meters in Shikai. The aura projectile takes the shape of a spectral koi fish, travels in a straight line, and flies at a speed equal to Iroka’s spiritual OS. On striking a target, it heals them of damage equivalent to how much Reiatsu she invested into the projectile. 50 Reiatsu will heal all minor injuries (scratches, minor lacerations, scrapes). 100 Reiatsu will heal up to two major lacerations, or moderate burn/corrosive damage.
In Bankai, the range of this technique is 250 meters, and it can target up to five different targets, the released aura transforming into five dragon heads which fly at any five targets of Iroka’s choice. These projectiles fly in curved trajectories, and they change direction to pursue their targets. They fly at a speed equal to Iroka’s OS. Bankai can heal according to Shikai Reiatsu costs, but as expected, it will heal a lot more, if more Reiatsu is used. 200 Reiatsu will heal a severed body extremity, like a hand or foot., or a single compound fracture. 400 Reiatsu will heal major injuries such as internal bleeding and organ failure. At its limit, 800 Reiatsu is strong enough to restore a full severed limb.
Technique Drawbacks: An enemy who intercepts this technique will be healed if hit; it does not discriminate.

Technique Description and Effects: This spell is an advanced lightning-based technique, far larger than basic spells such as Byakurai, and its destructive force is increased as well. Upon release, this spell fires an enormous blast of electrical energy in a concentrated blast that devastates all before it.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 25% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 125 with incantation).

Ghost would give a smile of his own as she said what she said. But he remained quiet silent in her wake. True he thought he had her if only he had the Death Dealer. Then things would have been over with before it even started. But alas he is the one on the ground and he is down. But he is not out and that is the fun part of all this. Ghost would laugh at her as he slowly but surely saw the wound he inflicted on her vanish like magic.

She could have won if she just did the death spell on him. But instead the moment she turned away from him the moment she was doing her healing spell. That was the moment his spell came into play. Soon spiritual springs would come about. Connecting all over Ghost's legs and the rest of his body. He could now move as if he was not crippled. This was his plan from the beginning anyhow. So even if a Quincy is down are they truly out?

The ability is known as Ransotengai and it was an ability to help the elderly and crippled Quincy. Fight if the time comes for it and boy did the time come for it. Soon he would take off his white Quincy jacket. As he placed it right there about the same time she ready her death spell. As soon as the lightning came down. Ghost would time it seconds before using his Hirenkyaku.

So right then and there when the lightning hit it would hit his jacket. As the jacket would burn away only tiny pieces were left and ashes. It would be made to look as if the Soul Reaper cooked him alive. This allows Ghost to step out of the way but jump off his right leg.
This allows Ghost to go between the nearby building debris ten meters away. Ghost would be all smiles as he looked on at her.

He would then say out loud but to himself.
"You still have ways to go but for the most part, you are on the right track. Maybe next time we can truly go all out." As he aimed his bow at her he realized that his Arrow would start to charge form. But just then it would start to leak as if it were a liquid and that's because it was. Soon the color of the arrow would turn dark purple. Could it be this battle that brought Ghost powers to a new height? This was a happy day for him a very happy day. Soon he would shout out to her loud enough for her to hear.

He would give it a moment as he wanted to see her reaction to him not being there. Then be would say to her. " Walk away my Fair Lady just as the Bridge of London falls down. This battle is a stalemate let us dance again doing the next full moon BALL." Soon Ghost would wait for her move. If she walks away the battle is over and he will not give chase. But if she seeks to continue it then things might go from bad to worse but for who? The next move was truly in her hands. But if she could feel it then she should realize that Ghost Reishi has changed for the better.

This was… interesting. It seemed Quincy had a means by which they could navigate around mobility issues. Iroka suspected that this would apply as well to having issues with their arms, which would make trying to attack their arms useless as well. Therefore, the most optimal way of defeating a Quincy was to just aim from the get-go at dismantling them completely. The savage path, though unpleasant to one such as Iroka, seemed to be the best, in this case.

Of course, the question arose: had Entotsu been faking injury all along? That was unlikely. Iroka knew how the human body operated. From the way he had moved, from the way his kneecaps had shifted, it was quite clear that they had been dislocated. He couldn’t even stand on his two feet after their exchange, so the fact stood: he had been injured. But he had a means of working around it.

That was a thing to keep in mind for the next Quincy she would fight. Preferably, though, she would never have to fight any other Quincy ever again. More preferably, she would rather never having to fight at all. But Shinigami led violent lives, even the ones who spent their lives catering to the wounded. Not only did they have greater risk of getting killed, due to their poor combat performance on average, they also had the displeasure of being bullied and insulted by the Shinigami of other Divisions. A rather unpleasant existence, in her opinion.

Iroka had not been deceived by the ashes of the burnt coat. If the Quincy had been hit by the spell, she would have smelt the unmistakable stench of burning flesh, which she didn’t. Also, Iroka was quite sure that Entotsu was strong enough to not be completely obliterated by a single attack from her, so her spell could not have burned him to a literal crisp. He had certainly dodged that one. The question was, where he had gone to.

She got her answer quickly enough, as she heard his voice above her. Iroka looked up at the Quincy, who was aiming a bow at her. But then something seemed to be happening to the arrow he had nocked. It had a different color from the ones he had been shooting at her. A new Quincy trick, perhaps? Best to be prepared for anything. This was a learning experience, anyhow.

What Iroka found strange was that with this new trick at hand, Entotsu was asking for them to call the battle a truce. She stared at him incredulously. ”Are you kidding me?” she asked, sounding exasperated. ”First you came all ‘London Bridge is falling down and you must fight me with Bankai’. Even when I told you I didn’t have it. And now, all of a sudden, you’re running away and it’s a stalemate?!”

Maybe he wanted to hedge his bets. Iroka suspected that the mobility technique he had used must have some downsides as well, else Quincy would have been widely known for using it all the time. And the strangeness of his arrow… was it a new development? If it was, then he probably wanted to have time to find out exactly what it did, as opposed to attempt to use it untested in battle. With such uncertainty hovering around him, the best strategy would be to press on the offensive, and keep the battle up. Iroka knew she could still continue…

…but she was a healer, not a warrior. If he wanted to be allowed to leave, she would let him. Seireitei and the Quincy were not officially at war, unless something had changed when she wasn’t looking. ”In any case, I have no interest of dancing with you, as you are a very unromantic person,” the Shinigami replied, taking his metaphors literally again. ”I also don’t understand why we should be leaving, if London Bridge is falling down, because there will be casualties, and we could save lives with swift action.

If you want to leave, please feel free to do so. I never wanted to have this fight, and even now, I have no interest in keeping it up. So, run along and leave me alone. I really must be heading for London Bridge to help evacuate people. It is my duty as a doctor. I’d have said ‘see you around’, but if your intention is for us to fight again at our next meeting, I’d rather we never saw each other again. Oyasumi nasai, Entotsu-san!”

Iroka bowed, but kept her head up and eyes on him. She didn’t trust that he would not attempt some underhanded trick to attack her while she bowed. So far, though, he seemed unwilling to press the attack, so she quickly made good her escape. Even if she could not say she had won this fight, Iroka had gained some useful information about how Quincy fought. In the future event she met a hostile Quincy, she would be better prepared to deal with them more effectively.

What followed next was a series of hilarious confusions. Iroka did not spend too long figuring out from her Denreishinki where London was. Except that the Soul Phone should have mentioned that the London Bridge was in structural jeopardy. Also, London had many bridges; which was the one Entotsu had spoken of? So far, the one that straddled the River Thames seemed to be just fine, as well as all the other ones on the Thames or not. She would file this for future consideration. That Quincy was a liar as well….
