The rump attack was a spur-of-the-moment thing, but it seemed to have worked out great. While another person would wonder why, of all places, Iroka decided to use her backside as her means of attack, for the orange-haired Shinigami, the reason was very straightforward. If she had used an arm or a leg, and Fuuko had blocked, chances were that it would hurt Iroka more than it would hurt Fuuko. The butt was padded. It would hurt less. Hopefully.

In any case, Iroka found herself sitting comfortably on Fuuko's face, with a second of peace and quiet. Had she won? It was unlikely. But maybe she needed to check on Fuuko. If the latter wasn't struggling, could it be that...? The scream from beneath her caused her to visibly jump, but she felt hands on her hips, and very soon found herself in a prone position, with Fuuko on top and behind her. Her legs were pinned so she couldn't move them, and even though her hands were not pinned as well, Iroka could not push off the ground to get Fuuko off. The blonde was too heavy.

As to why Fuuko was angry, Iroka had no idea. "Itai! Itai!! Oni-chan, wait, wait!!!" Iroka pleaded, squirming as she tried to get out from underneath the angry blonde. "Did I transgress by hitting you with my ass? I didn't know such a thing was wrong! Forgive meeeee!!!" But all of a sudden for a split second, Iroka seemed to pause, and then one of her flailing hands angled itself such that the palm was facing Fuuko. "Shintenken: Tansashō- Kū!" That would hopefully get Fuuko off of her.

"Oni-chan? Why is my ass precious and forbidden?"

Nejire (Warp): The most basic form of the Cinnabar Palm. The user projects a pulse of reiatsu on impact with a target to deal bludgeoning damage and push the target backwards
Kū (Void): This is simply Nejire, but with the pulse of reiatsu projected so that it strikes at range, as opposed to a close-quarter strike. Effect is the same as Nejire.
Tsurigane (Battle Gong): User performs Tansashō with both hands, while clapping them together. The resultant effect is a visible shockwave of rippling air which explodes outward from the user for up to ten meters. Anyone hit by the shockwave is sent flying, though it cannot be used as a shield. The shockwave has a characteristic Buddhist bell shape, hence its name.
Each form is learned with increase in proficiency. At Learned, user can use Nejire. Kū is usable at Proficient, and Tsurigane is usable at Mastered.
How to Use: User gathers reiatsu into their open palm and strikes a target, releasing the reiatsu on impact, or releasing the reiatsu before impact, to deliver a ranged attack.
Drawbacks: The major drawback of this technique is its range, which is a maximum of 10 meters. Also can only be used by Shintenken practitioners (must have at least 1 SkP devoted to Hakuda: Shintenken as a skill).

Fuuko huffed as she was now in a better position against Iroka. She had confused and conflicted feelings even before  the fight, but Iroka certainly wasn't helping. She winced as Iroka screamed in pain. She was holding onto Iroka's waist pretty rightly, but she had to do what she had to do. Especially as she heard Iroka's words and saw which way her hand had snaked up. 

"Rrrrgh! Dammit, sis!" Fuuko hissed. This time she was a bit more prepared and as Iroka chanted, Fuuko used her free arm to grab Iroka's wrist and wrench it up into a hammerlock so that the blast fired off in a direction that neither of them were facing. Fuuko kept the hammerlock on Iroka and brought one knee up. "Listen, you," Fuuko growled, trying to make sure Iroka heard her. "You transgressed muchly! But, if you wanna know why, I guess yer just gonna have to earn that  too! And I think I'm ready ta step things up a notch. How about you, sis?" 

Fuuko would let go of the wrist she held and then grab Iroka's waist with her other hand. Hopefully, with her strength, and her grip, Iroka would be easy to pick up. Fuuko's cheeks were still flushed a deep red. This was one time Iroka's obliviousness was working against her, or so Fuuko thought. Did she really need to spell it out? She would worry about that later. By the time this was all said and done, they might hate  each other anyway, so it wouldn't matter. Maybe it could be the thing that saved  their bond. At that point, Fuuko didn't know, and she didn't care. She was only focused on one thing. 

That was heaving Iroka up and off the ground in one powerful motion, then falling backwards in an attempt to German Suplex her squadmate, Best friend, and bonded sister into the ground as hard as she could. "Orrraaaaaaaa!"

"Unh... good job!" Iroka said, switching from a grunt of discomfort, at having had her arm twisted in a hammerlock, to expressing praise for Fuuko's maneuver, with a tone that sounded as though she was watching Fuuko fight someone else, and was quite proud of the move that had just been carried out. With her arm twisted so, it would be quite difficult to attempt to cast anything with her hands, and this made Iroka realize just how much of a disadvantage she would find herself if grappled by a stronger opponent like Fuuko. Seeing that most of her opponents would likely be stronger than she was, maybe figuring out how to deal with these kind of situations was necessary.

Iroka could not see the blonde's face, but Fuuko did not sound pleased. In any case, Fuuko talking about taking things up a notch did not sound very reassuring. And how come she had to earn everything now? As socially disconnected as Iroka was, the carrot-top began to suspect that she had somehow really displeased Fuuko, but for the life of her, she could not say what the reason was. Still, there were much more pressing things to attend to, like the fact that Fuuko was lifting her off the ground. Of course, being small, bodily, and lacking great physical strength, Iroka's form would hardly pose a challenge to her fellow Yonbantai squad mate.

If there was anything Iroka could have done to escape the suplex, she was not able to think of it, only being afforded the chance to scream at the top of her lungs, just before hitting the ground with earth-shattering force, whereupon the screaming stopped immediately. A cloud of dust rose as Iroka impacted the ground with the back of her head and neck. Whether Fuuko maintained the hold or released her, Iroka would remain motionless in a folded heap, shoulders and knees resting against the ground, and her hips in the air, unless Fuuko decided to topple her over.

The moment Iroka screamed, Fuuko immediately winced. She winced again when Iroka impacted the ground crumbled into a heap. She tried to tell herself this is exactly what Iroka wanted and when she completed the suplex, Fuuko rolled away and hopped up to her feet. She brushed her hands and then brushed them down her short skirt and tugged on her shihakushou to make sure everything was in place while the small cloud of dust cleared.

"So." Fuuko said, puffing out her chest. "Ya ready ta give up, Sis?" She bleated with a smirk. Then she saw Iroka was barely even twitching. "I-Iroka-chan?" Fuuko said, a little more cautiously and inched forward to peer at Iroka. "Ok, Haha, sis! I know yer tougher than that so you can get up an yellin at me fer playin too rough!" Fuuko said, a little hint of nervousness creeping into her tone. 

She glanced around, unsure what to do and then stepped a little closer and tried to catch a glimpse of Iroka to see if she was still breathing. There was no way she was dead. She had to be pretending. Fuuko was strong, but she knew her own strength. Even if Iroka landed on the back of her neck, she was fine. Right? Fuuko snorted and shifted her weight from one side to the other. Her finger went into her ear and she picked out some wax. 

"Ok, Sis, this ain't funny. Get the fuck up and we can just call it here, ok? No harm, no foul. Ain't no big deal. We'll let all the talk about vice captain and forbidden peaches and all that just slide right under the bridge." She said and flicked the wax off her finger. Then, she peered at Iroka again, leaning a little closer with real worry on her face.

Fuuko's words seemed to have no effect on the unmoving form of Munemasa Iroka. But as soon as the blonde leaned closer, using her hands which were stretched out away from her head, Iroka brought them together suddenly, even as she performed the Cinnabar Palm with both hands simultaneously. This was a technique she had already used on Fuuko once in this match, but Iroka was hopeful that her sudden motion would catch the blonde Shinigami by surprise. Because trying to get at the Red Oni of the Yonbantai was impossible when Fuuko was expecting her. Hopefully, an omnidirectional technique like this would also reduce Fuuko's chances of dodging, while creating space between her and Iroka.

Since her butt was already sticking up in the air, Iroka simply rearranged her hands, and performed a graceful kip-up to throw herself into a standing position. "Oni-chan! What sort of technique was that?!" However, Fuuko would notice that Iroka's expression was more embarrassed than annoyed. "But first, I'm really sorry, ne! I took advantage of your care for me to perform my attack. This will be the last time I did something like this, at least not in this battle, promise! It's wrong to cheat like that." She fell on her knees and bowed with her head to the ground. "I don't take your concern for me for granted. I will not do it again!"

She looked up at Fuuko, and now there was a desperate expression on her face. "But we have to talk about that move you just did. Please never use it again!" If Fuuko thought it was because of the power of the technique or how easily it could break an opponent's neck, boy would she be wrong! "It's so LEWD!!! Can you imagine what onlookers would think? With my hips up in the air like that, and my legs spread like that... I... that was indecent exposure...." Still on her knees, she straightened up and placed her hands on her cheeks, almost covering her eyes, while her face was a deep shade of red.

Regaining her composure, the ginger-haired girl rose to her feet. "I hope nobody was looking; that could destroy my prospects of marriage. Although come to think of it, it might be fun if I could learn to do it. But that would mean I need to gain more muscles, and eww...." Suddenly realizing she was rambling, Iroka snapped to look at Fuuko. "Sorry about that. And sorry again for being such a sleaze. Shall we continue?"

It wasn't that Fuuko wasn't expecting something. In the back of her mind, she knew it could be possible. She just didn't really expect Iroka to pull the same trick twice. She was, honestly, still surprised she pulled it once. Still as Iroka turned and clapped her hands together, Fuuko pulled her arms up, but she could feel herself lifting off the ground. "O!! YOU BIIIIIiiiiiiitch!" 

Fuuko's legs kicked as she was flung and she crashed against the ground and rolled a few feet. She rolled to a stop and grunted. As she did, she thought long and hard about doing to Iroka what she had just done to her. She didn't think Iroka would like it too much if Fuuko played possum. However, she knew she didn't have the heart to do it and she was sure Iroka wasn't stupid enough to fall for it. Aside from that, Iroka was already up and complaining. With a deep sigh, Fuuko sat up and looked at Iroka, listening to her lay out her grievances against the suplex. 

"How can I trust ya now!?" Fuuko barked back, trying not to grin as Iroka cutely apologized. She dug her fingers into the ground. "This bitch heh..." She muttered under her breath. Iroka didn't want her to use it again. "Oh, yeah, I bet it fuckin-" Fuuko blinked. "Lewd?! NOW yer talkin about lewd!?" Fuuko leaned back and kipped up to her feet, brushing her hands down her shuhakushou. They brushed some dirt off of her short skirt and then Fuuko took one step and laughed. "Ha! Yer right! Fuck! I wish I couldda seen! If there's any onlookers, they definitely know what color yer panties are, don't they!?" Fuuko teased. "Not to mention, I'm really surprised one of yer tits didn't pop out! Fuck!" Fuuko shook her head. "I really wish I woulda set up a camera now!" 

Fuuko grinned and then tugged at her own shihakushou again. "Ya know, I feel ya, but I don't think you got any room ta lecture me about embarrissin ya when yer wearin a skirt as short as mine! Not ta mention." Fuuko gave her own breasts a little bounce with her hands. "Yer showin off about as much skin. I'm tryin  ta get looks, so what's yer  excuse, huh?" Fuuko said. She pivoted fast enough to flash Iroka some of her black panties and then smacked her ass with her hand. "See anythin, huh? All it took was a little twirl." Fuuko then pointed at Iroka. "Since we're on  the subject! I'm a lil offended too! Yer around me the most of all and ya never say a thing about what ya see! And now, don't think I didn't see that face." 

Fuuko flexed. "So, ya don't like muscles, huh? Yer sayin I'm dog-faced ugly!?" Fuuko was obviously being cheeky, but she was sure someone like Iroka wouldn't pick up on that right away. "Sis, I never knew ya could be so cruel! I never knew you were so superficial! I don't know how I should feel, all this time, you were bein so nice ta me even though you were repulsed by me! How am I supposed ta take that, huh!?" Fuuko crossed her arms. "Maybe you should just go be Vice-Captain. I don't know if I could stand to be around someone so heartless." It was difficult, even for Fuuko, to try and hide the grin she wanted to flash at Iroka, she bit her lip and even pinched herself enough to try and fight off the smirk as she teased her friend. As far as Fuuko was concerned, Iroka deserved it a little bit for the cheap shots she was throwing out.

Her dastardly plan had worked, creating some much-desired distance between herself and Fuuko. Of course, on the one hand, Iroka had been pleased that this match was not simply a one-sided beatdown from Fuuko, though she wondered if her sworn sister was still holding back. Iroka suspected this was the case. On the other hand, seeing as she had given her word not to do such an underhanded trick anymore, Iroka hoped she still had enough remaining tricks to hold her own. Her intention was that, no matter the outcome of this fight, she would still be able to trust Fuuko, and Fuuko would still be able to trust her in turn.

For some reason Iroka was not sure of, Fuuko seemed incredulous that she had called the suplex lewd. She cocked her head curiously to one side, a quizzical expression on her face, as the blonde made mention of how onlookers would have seen her undies on full display. "Is the color of my panties something I should be unwilling to share?" she asked, her confusion evident. "If you must know, they're a plain white. While there is some merit to be had about wearing patterned undies, what's the point, unless one wanted to show it off to others? And you don't need to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions of the nature you described. My undies are designed for proper support and stability."

Still, setting up a camera was not acceptable, and Fuuko would see Iroka's expression blanche slightly when she made mention of the recording device. As Fuuko condemned Iroka for accusing her of causing embarrassment, even though Iroka wore a similarly skimpy getup, the carrot-top opened her mouth in protest, but had to pause, as Fuuko was not yet done. Fuuko's comment about Iroka not saying anything about her friend's appearance sadly flew clean over the ginger-haired girl's head, simply because of the wording Fuuko had used. Her expression of protest changed to one of mild confusion again.

"About what I see? Em... you have eyes as well, Oni-chan. If I'm seeing something, chances are very high that you're seeing it too, so would there be need for me to comment? But I suspect I have misunderstood you. Are you color-blind? If so, I would gladly help you with identification of colors. Is there something specific you need me to see and make mention of? Oh, I think I understand! You've taken up bird-watching, haven't you? I hear humans do it a lot. Birds are cute, but I don't know if I have the patience to just sit down and stare at them all day. Pigeons, however, are not to be trusted."

The accusation that Iroka was implying that Fuuko was ugly drew a gasp from the carrot-top. "Oni-chan!" she exclaimed, her expression a mixture of hurt and remorse. For a moment, there was silence. Then the stillness was broken by a sob. "I'm so sooooorrrrrryyyyyy!!!" Iroka finally let out, in unrestrained tears. "I've betrayed your trust and said some very hurtful things. I've always been stupid, and say and do mindless things, and this is just proof of it. You've always been so good to me, Fuuko-chan, yet I repay you by being nasty."

Iroka was clearly not feigning the tears here, as she deteriorated into a sobbing mess. "I-- I never meant to say you were ugly. Your muscles make you cool and hot and awesome, even though 'cool' and 'hot' are somehow supposed to be opposites. If there's anyone I would want to be, it would be you. I admire you, Fuuko-chan. You're so confident and strong and beautiful. And kind too, befriending someone as useless as me. I'm really of no use whatsoever. I can't even try to be nice properly. You're right, I'm heartless. And very selfish too, because even with my defectiveness, I still want to be Vice Captain."

She managed to take in a breath amidst the sobbing, as she tried to wipe her tears with her hands, which did nothing to remedy the loss of buckets of saltwater from her eyes. "I'll absolutely understand if you didn't want to be friends with me anymore, Oni-chan. I'd totally get that you wouldn't want to be around someone so heartless. But at least allow me to say I'm sorry, and I'll try to be better. A part of me wants to give up on being Vice Captain, because I don't deserve it one bit. And yet, if I gave up on this, how would I become a better person? How could I improve? But it won't matter a bit to me if you didn't approve of my becoming Vice Captain. In the end, that's why I brought you here, to simply gain your approval."

Fuuko raised an eyebrow as Iroka had no concept of why people shouldn't know the color of her panties. Her lips pursed into a thin smile and she chuckled as The orangette outright told her. "Heh, oh I know." Fuuko admitted. "I'm not surprised. Those are the panties of the innocent. I'm sure ya think they're efficient and meet every need when it comes to both coverage and comfort and yer right. What I'm sayin is..." Fuuko explained but stopped. Seemed as if Iroka wasn't quite finished. 

Worse than that, Fuuko suddenly found Iroka sobbing and hyperventilating. The blonde looked away, her cheeks flushed with a bit of embarrassment and some shame. She began to walk towards Iroka slowly and listened to everything that was upsetting Iroka. It was when Iroka explained how cool she thought Fuuko was and the blonde couldn't help but feel bad. She inhaled, snorted and looked at Iroka. She looked around and then sighed. She knew what she had to do and she mentally kicked herself for waiting for so long. 

She was having fun. She was also pretty sure that they wouldn't be quite like that anymore once things started actually  getting serious. Fuuko sighed and got close to Iroka. As Iroka tried to put herself together, Fuuko clapped her cheek with the palm of her hand. It wasn't a gentle slap, but it did not have force or power behind it. It was clear the intent was to snap Iroka out of her sobbing. Fuuko then gently grabbed Iroka by the chin and looked into her eyes. 

"Iroka-chan, I was just fuckin with ya. Consider it payback fer pullin those dirty tricks earlier, but, now..." Fuuko closed her eyes. "I love ya, sis. I will even after this is finished, but I still believe what I believe. Still, if yer gonna show me yer feelins, then I have to be able to accept them properly.' Fuuko let go and turned. She walked a few feet away from Iroka and then turned around. She flicked her sword up with one hand and caught it with the other. When she let it hang at her side, it pointed away from Iroka. 

"We will have a lot ta talk about after this is all over. I ... haven't been doin a good job of teachin ya how ta be a real woman. Heh." Fuuko turned and scratched her head. "Not that I'm a good role model, but there's some things in this world ya just gotta know. So, we can sort that out too, but, fer now?" Fuuko bent her feet and brought her sword up. 

"I'm not gonna hold back anymore, so ya better have more than tricks if ya don't wanna get yer ass kicked!" Fuuko's golden eyes gleamed. "I apologize fer fuckin around. I know how serious this is to ya. I didn't mean ta mock it, and I hope you'll forgive me for that. I hope you'll forgive me fer what I'm about ta do to, but, like I said. We can work all that out after. So, dry yer tears and show me what makes yer heart beat, sis! Put all of yer feelins into comin at me!"

Iroka blinked in surprise as the not-so-soft slap landed on her face, the tears still streaming down her cheeks. She managed to smile through her tears as she heard the words of reassurance from her sworn sister. "I've never been very smart," she half-laughed, half-sniffled as she tried to wipe her face with her sleeve. "Just look at me, making an utter fool of myself. But I deserved that; as I said, I should not have deceived you like that in the first place."

As Fuuko flipped her sword, Iroka listened, her eyes watery but no longer overflowing. "Oh, I think you're an amazing role-model," she replied honestly, "but we're two very different people. There are things I can't imitate you on. But you're right, let's talk about that later." A determined expression came into Iroka's eyes. "I'm glad you're not going to hold back anymore, and I'm not scared of whatever you intend to do to me. I can take it, so bring it on!"

The tears were now gone, Iroka's expression a defiant frown, as she clapped her hands together. As she pulled them apart, Fuuko would notice a cuboidal barrier form between her hands, which elongated as Iroka's palms drew more apart. And within the barrier was a sword, Iroka's zanpakutō. The barrier, Iroka's Shibien technique, was quite useful for someone who loved building things and hoarding stuff, as it served as a nifty storage area. Even though Iroka wasn't very proficient with fighting with a sword, the fact that she was bringing out her weapon was proof that she was becoming serious herself.

"If you throw a stone at glass, it shatters. Forgiveness, in such a case, is needed. If you throw that same stone at a bamboo bush, it will resist the stone, and if it can't, it will bend out of the way. I don't need to forgive you, because I can weather anything you throw at me. I'm not as delicate as I look, Oni-chan. But I must warn you, as I know you enjoy fighting, my zanpakutō isn't something you will find much pleasure fighting against, as it doesn't have any means of offense. All the same, let's go!" Iroka's reiatsu picked up, even as she held the sleek black handle of her zanpakutō.

Description: A kidō which provides the user with a dimensional space, which can be used to store and retrieve items. The barrier usually takes the shape of a colored, transparent, violet cuboidal construct. This is quite a versatile kidō, and is primarily used as a storage bakudō, though it may be used offensively (purely for plot reasons, no more). When storing, the barrier is formed round an object, and then vanishes along with the object. For retrieval, the opposite is the case: the barrier appears with the object within, and vanishes, leaving the object behind. It may be used offensively by trapping an opponent’s body part within the barrier. Then the barrier will change color to golden, as whatever is trapped within the barrier gets severed from the rest of the target that is outside the barrier. It is difficult to store living things in the Purple Forbidden Enclosure, but it can probably be done with the use of additional equipment. This kidō requires hand motions, but no verbal casting, and by restricting a caster’s hands, one can prevent them from casting this kidou. A plot device. Can only be used offensively on a target, if express OOC permission is granted by the target’s RP controller, or to perform stylish kills on mobs or in other cases where it won’t be considered powerplaying or godmoding. Cannot be used to cause damage in a PvP fight, unless express permission is given. Fuuko shook her head as she waited for Iroka. She had to get everything out before she was ready and that was fine. Fuuko could be surprisingly patient. She was, however, surprised when Iroka called out her shikai. Despite how close they were, she didn't see it too often, though she was  jealous of it to an extent. It was a very cool, very beautiful looking shikai. A finely crafted weapon that someone poured their heart and soul into. Not some cheap piece of crap that could be won at the pachinko parlour or purchased for a few hundred yen at a store. 

"Don't ever call yerself stupid, sis." Fuuko grunted. "Yer way smarter than me." She said. "Cause ya know  fer me, goin all out..." Fuuko held up her sword. "Means keepin this thing sealed as long as possible. So, I'm gonna do somethin real dumb." Fuuko could hear her spirit laughing, but she ignored it. "Nomibanji, Shukketsubuki!" The sword Fuuko held up began to glow. It was swathed in red energy and soon, as it changed, it shrunk. The energy faded and in Fuuko's hand was a red pocket knife with a red blade. The handle, while small, still had some  markings on it. Around the base od the blade, the handle looked like teeth, the blade representing a tongue. Fuuko stood straight up and flipped Shukketsubuki in her palm a few times while she looked at Iroka. 

"Yer the only one who's seen Shukketsubuki's true form other than me. Not even Kazu has seen it." She flipped it and caught it again and then turned the blade on herself and began to pick at her teeth with it. "This is about as useful as this damn thing is in this form." Fuuko said and then spat. She flipped it one more time, so that the butt of the handle faced upwards. "It's doubly shit against a weapon like Shugyoku Hirenaga, who is long and elegant. Has reach, and, even worse, has no edges." Fuuko smiled. "Ya sure yer the one at the disadvantage in all a this, Iroka-chan?" 

HAving a weapon, though, didn't necessarily mean one knew how to use it. Fuuko used Shunpo to clear the distance as quickly as she could to get inside of Iroka's guard. Normally she might slash with Shukketsibuki to give it a drink, but Fuuko wanted more than just a nick. With her knuckles curled around Shukketsibuki's handle, she aimed a right cross at Iroka's jaw.

It was on! Fuuko had released her zanpakutou. Frankly, aside the increase in spiritual pressure when releasing one's Shikai, Iroka did not see any combat-based advantage that releasing her zanpakutou would give her. Still, with Fuuko going ahead and releasing her own weapon, this battle had moved from marginally fun to very serious. It was good that way; Iroka needed to see how long she could last against Shukketsubuki. She wasn't sure why Fuuko said going all out meant keeping her Shikai sealed, though. Releasing meant the battle was likely going to finish soon. For Iroka, that was what going all out meant.

She had some knowledge of the workings of Fuuko's Shikai; it utilized blood to power itself up. It seemed to get bigger, the more it collected blood. But Iroka suspected it could do more. And she was also sure that allowing Fuuko's zanpakutou to drink blood until the weapon was too big for Fuuko to use was out of the question. Because Iroka was sure that there would be a way for Fuuko to release the collected blood. Getting herself hurt would just be disadvantageous for her, even though she had readily available and rapid healing on ground. That cost reiatsu, and even if her reiatsu amount wasn't too middling, she didn't think it ranked among the highest.

"Blunt weapons have more difficulty in rendering damage, especially when there is no physical strength behind them. I think an edged weapon is much more useful than a blunt--eek!" Fuuko had been some feet away, and was in her face in the next moment, a hand swinging towards her jaw. Iroka tried to parry, even as she drew her head back, but her movements weren't fast enough, earning her a decent sock on her chin. Still, she had managed to only deflect Fuuko's punch just a little, so the damage was not as bad as if the hook had landed square on her jaw.

Almost robot-like, Iroka's head snapped back to position, even as she aimed a kick at Fuuko's knee. If it hit, Fuuko would discover that moving that leg would be a little harder to effect, due to Iroka aiming her kick such that it would cause a localized swelling that would make the limb more sluggish due to inflammation. This was one of the advantages of having a lot of knowledge in the field of healing. It also provided Iroka with knowledge of the body, and how and where to attack in order to cause debilitating results, even if the damage caused was relatively minimal.

Fuuko said as she clapped her sis in the jaw. She knew it hadn't been flush and she even saw the retaliation coming. Her eyes followed the kick and she winced as it hit, but her leg remained firmly planted and, while she looked at the impact, her head shot forward, throwing a fierce headbutt at Iroka. Whether Iroka's idea to target a joint would bear fruit or not would be an issue for future Fuuko.  "You let me get in close!" Fuuko barked. 

"I see what yer doin, but if ya want me ta limp around, cut my fuckin Achilles!" Fuuko dared. She had expected, when Iroka was still chatting, that she hadn't expected Fuuko to go from zero to sixty and, if the headbutt wasn't enough of a wake up call, then maybe the the sharp stab at Iroka's belly with Shukketsuibuki would be. Her arm curled so the blade pointed at the orangette and Fuuko's arm shot out like a scorpion tail.

Fuuko's headbutt smashed into Iroka's head, rocking the much smaller girl severely. But to Iroka's credit, even though she stumbled, the carrot-top remained standing. "It's you who aren't listening!" Iroka complained, her expression one of pain and frustration, as her brain hammered inside her skull due to the force of the headbutt she had just received. A little rivulet of blood trickled down her forehead and along her face, as a crimson drop quickly pooled at her chin and dropped in silence. But Iroka paid the wound no heed.

"I didn't let you get in close! I'm a pondering, stupid tortoise!! How do you expect me to keep up with your speed?" There was a sudden gasp, and a sharp catching of breath, as Iroka felt Fuuko's weapon stab her in the gut. If she continued like this, there was no way she would do anything of reasonable effect in this battle. Gritting her teeth, Iroka let go of the chain of her zanpakutou and attempted to grab Fuuko's outstretched arm with one of her now freed hands, even as the other aimed a palm at the blonde's torso.

"Hado #63: Raikōhō!"

Shortly after she let rip the lightning blast, Iroka screamed, "cut your Achilles? With what? My harmless toy of a weapon? And you say Shukketsubuki is useless. As if you'd even let me maneuver round to get to your ankles, anyway." Still, Fuuko would realize that to run, one needed to move their knees, and a crippled knee could just be as bad as a sliced Achilles tendon. In any case, Iroka was getting heated. The pain was probably adding to her frustration, which was mostly as a result of Fuuko berating her for not trying her best. She wasn't yet angry, though. She didn't want to become angry. But was the Raikōhō going too far? Perhaps not; she wasn't the one who'd stabbed her opponent in the gut.

How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 25% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 125 with incantation).

The blood that trickled from Iroka's forehead and dribbled off her chin never made it to the ground. It was slurped up by Shukketsubuki along with the blood that Shekketsubuki sucked in when she stabbed into Iroka. Fuuko knew that in its initial form, the pocket knife could do very little harm unless it cut a vital organ, which meant, basically, the neck. Even a full stab to the hilt was not going to do more than leave a gash in Iroka's tummy. It was designed only to get a puncture so that it could feed, and feed it did. As Fuuko reeled in, she saw Shukketsubuki glow. It had gotten a taste and it was growing already. It began to glow as it started to take shape, but Fuuko didn't have time to worry about that.

"Shit! Bitch!"

Fuuko heard the words and planted her foot, wincing as she did, but she needed to do... something. Reiatsu wrapped around her foot and she shot herself away from the blast, it was too wide of an arc to completely avoid. She threw her back to it and hoped that the shockwave created by her Shunpo: Eichi would be enough to mitigate some of the Bakudo. She could feel the lightning tickle her. The initial jolt was almost exhilarating, but then she could feel the sizzle of flesh. This reminded her of the time she fought Teresa, when she stupidly ate a cero at point blank range. Aside fromt he damage, the force was enough to unsettle her balance and she stumbled as she was thrown like she was riding a wave. Her feet bicycled and when she hit the ground, she stumbled. 

Fuuko clapped her hands together and when she popped up, she pivoted. In her hands were a pair of red kunai. She wasted no time for the dust to clear, smoke hissing off her body as parts of her were exposed as her shihakushou burned and tore. She flashed her arms in front of her rapidly. Golden colored reiatsu shot out from her in waves as she unleashed not one, but two sakugen slashes at Iroka. Behind them, she whipped one of her kunai, hoping to use the sakuhen as more of a distraction than anything. 

"Sakugen!' 

"Sakugen!" 

The red kunai gleamed as Fuuko flung it. "River of blood." She muttered under her breath. If she connected with the Kunau, Iroka would find any cuts she sustained bleeding much more than usual. Fuuko's golden eyes watched as her now free hand came up and pressed against her crispy shoulder. Her lip curled into a sneer as she finally had a chance shout back at Iroka. "Stop fuckin callin yerself dumb!" Fuuko barked. "And, I dunno! Maybe don't fuckin release so quickly! You think I wanted to!?"

Technique Cost: 25 Reiatsu.

Description: The user pours Reiatsu into their body, and their sword, and releases it in a mighty slash attack. A small slash of Reiatsu shoots outwards, and can cut with the same force as the user, if it hits. It also bypasses the cutback effect, as well as comes with the user's weight. It feels like it hits the enemy with the user's body weight, on top of cutting into them or their tools.

How to Use: Charge and slash in an instant.

Incantation: N/A.

Drawbacks: It drains some Reiatsu and some stamina, but also comes with a requirement. One must have a minimum of 200 in strength to be able to use this technique, or it cannot be used.

Fuuko had managed to dodge the brunt of Iroka's attack, and was still very much in the game, despite not coming away unscathed. And Shukketsubuki had already started drinking Iroka's blood, something she needed to be very careful about. While she could heal herself, losing blood like this was going to drain her quickly. There was only so much blood that she could bleed, after all. So much for Fuuko not liking her zanpakutō.

It was likely that Iroka thought Shukketsubuki was cool for the same reason Fuuko disliked the weapon's ability: the potential to end a match quickly. For Iroka, that was her greatest interest, finishing fights in the shortest possible time. But Shugyoku Hirenaga did not even allow her to finish a match quickly. At best, it allowed her to outlast an enemy, but given Iroka's relatively poor fighting prowess, even that was unlikely. For Iroka, her zanpakutō's healing was just an extension of the time she had to suffer in combat.

In any case, the respite of getting Fuuko off her allowed Iroka to retrieve her zanpakutō, but even as she prepared for the next phase of combat, she saw a sight that made her heart sink. The devastation done to the area was chilling. Although it was a training ground, there was great chance that she might have destroyed more than just the training area. Quickly, she cast around, hoping her attack hadn't blown something up, or worse, injured anyone. And that was when she saw the golden flashes of light.

Instinctively, Iroka parried with her weapon, managing to block the Sakugen, although that, and the suddenness of having to respond to an attack while she was distracted caused her to not see the kunai until she felt a sharp pain in her side. With surprise, Iroka looked down at the wound, noting with some consternation that it was bleeding much more vigorously than a wound of that nature should. It was quite easy to see, as she knew the ways and workings of blood vessels. No doubt another effect of Shukketsubuki. Iroka turned one of the heads of her meteor hammer towards her.

"Han'nyagake!"

She reasoned that a wound needed to be open to bleed, and if her wounds were closed, then Shukketsubuki's exacerbated bleeding effects should not be able to work, unless she got cut again. "What other choice do I have, Oni-chan?" Iroka asked defensively, to Fuuko's accusation of her having released her zanpakutō too quickly, even as her wounds disappeared. "I can't fight you physically. You can easily beat a man twice your size, but I punch like a schoolgirl. Would you really enjoy such a fight? And I can't use my spells extensively. They're too destructive. What if the last one I cast hurt someone?"

Technique Name: Han’nyagake [Prajna Shard]

Technique Type: Shikai/Bankai [Healing]

Technique Reiatsu Cost: Variable/Variable

Technique Description and Effects: Iroka creates auras on the heads of her meteor hammer, firing any of them like a projectile. Their range is 100 meters in Shikai. The aura projectile takes the shape of a spectral koi fish, travels in a straight line, and flies at a speed equal to Iroka’s spiritual OS. On striking a target, it heals them of damage equivalent to how much Reiatsu she invested into the projectile. 50 Reiatsu will heal all minor injuries (scratches, minor lacerations, scrapes). 100 Reiatsu will heal up to two major lacerations, or moderate burn/corrosive damage.
In Bankai, the range of this technique is 250 meters, and it can target up to five different targets, the released aura transforming into five dragon heads which fly at any five targets of Iroka’s choice. These projectiles fly in curved trajectories, and they change direction to pursue their targets. They fly at a speed equal to Iroka’s OS. Bankai can heal according to Shikai Reiatsu costs, but as expected, it will heal a lot more, if more Reiatsu is used. 200 Reiatsu will heal a severed body extremity, like a hand or foot., or a single compound fracture. 400 Reiatsu will heal major injuries such as internal bleeding and organ failure. At its limit, 800 Reiatsu is strong enough to restore a full severed limb.

Technique Drawbacks: An enemy who intercepts this technique will be healed if hit; it does not discriminate.
