Meeting in the Morning

Amare beamed. "I do practice! It's just something that's very difficult! Besides, that jump wasn't spiritual! That was all muscle and strength! Asuka-sensei drilled me very hard. When I first started training with her, she had to hold back so much so I could even see her movements. If she put in even a little bit of effort, even if I could react, I couldn't actually block her attacks! They went right through my defenses! And that was assuming I was skilled enough to stop them in the first place! ...Which I wasn't." He stated. "But I've gotten fast and strong enough I can actually see what she's doing now! And react! And plus getting tied up with her whips was super useful that one time I had to stop a zombie apocalypse with a pair of Sparkle Wizards and a Moon Octopus." Amare stated.

"Still, it's not something I'm all that familiar with, these Broccoli People tricks. Some of the moves I've seen Kazura do are similar, but not quite the same, and I think Asuka-sensei's Sonido is more impressive than Kazura's Bringer Light. And I've yet to see a Broccoli Person summon up an attack like her or Lagos's Cero. Even Lagos's Bala was so incredible I couldn't have done anything to stop it. I'm just glad Lagos is a nice enough person that she deliberately missed me when she trained me a little bit." Amare stated. "Oh, just in case you didn't know-- Lagos is the Eighth Espada, the Eighth strongest Arrancar. She's a little standoffish but I think she's still really nice. I think someone hurt her really badly once, maybe several people. I hope one day I can meet the people that did that to her so I can give them a piece of my mind." Amare punched his fist into his palm.

"Sorry, I'm rambling. It's lovely to have met you though! Was there anything else?"

Standing as she was in the park Hikari could feel her muscles starting to relax and her temperature cool down, she hadn’t been jogging long enough that she felt in intense pressure to stop or slow down yet it’d been enough that her body was warmed up. Listening to Amare go on and on and on though she started to come to a new conclusion. This guy wasn’t just spiritually aware nor just someone that took the words of others as fact when apparently everyone else said something different. No, the guy in front of her was a man child, ranting on and on about this woman named Asuka like she was some sort of deity. Hikari felt the urge to groan with the realization that she’d heard lifelong priest rave less than he was right now.

The new addition of names that couldn’t be anything more than marks of humor breezed by Hikari was tired of standing down the ridiculousness of it all and now didn’t feel like bothering to connect the dots. If he said a new name chances were she didn’t know what he was talking about anyway. The only things that she took notice of were the names of attacks or at least what she thought were attacks. Based on the way that he was talking they were definitely actions so if they had specific names that meant they had to be attacks of some kind. It didn’t make much difference though since she hadn’t seen any to her knowledge.

Moving her left hand up Hikari rubs the back of her head doing her best not to be disrespectful although she felt like shouting at the little boy, she was baby sitting to slow down. “No, no I think I’ve heard enough. Unless you want to practice, I think I’ll see you around.” Although it wasn't a pleasant or nice way of thinking about the interaction between them Hikari was at the point that she just didn't want to keep trying to connect all the dots. Amare either didn't make any sense or she had to struggle to figure out the connections with what he was saying. Then of course he also went off starting to talk in a sort of frenzy that just made things more difficult.

There was still something in Hikari's face that told Amare there was still a fundamental disconnect between them and he frowned. "Damn. I don't think we're quite on the same level yet all the same... But I'll tell you what. You should really go see Uzaki Enterprises sometime. I'm sure we'd love to have you as part of the team! And while I wouldn't mind practicing with you, I think that I do need to make sure my routine gets finished. But if you're still here when I finish up, I'd love to help you train to!" Amare replied. "Or you could also try to keep up! That's always an idea too!" He gave a short, but theatrical bow.

"If not, I understand. And I hope to see you again soon!" Amare then took off, starting a bit slow, so that the explosion of dust wouldn't affect Scarlet-- it would absolutely not do to ruin a ladies' outfit like that, or otherwise inconvenience her so. But after he'd built a bit of distance between them, he began to rapidly accelerate until once again he was a blur of movement, and a streak of dirt, grass and trail erupting up behind him as he took off into the park at the same manic speed he'd been traveling when Scarlet had seen him first.

Idiot or not. Raving or not. Amare definitely had developed speed, endurance and strength. However he spoke of Asuka, her training had certainly born fruit. That speed was proof of it. Speed that surpassed human limitations by leaps and bounds. It was, if nothing else, proof to Scarlet that such strength was attainable? And the next question to follow. Was Scarlet about to let herself be outdone by an idiot like that?

Meeting other spiritual aware humans just seemed like a wild card situation now to Hikari. She'd come across Shimada-sama and he'd been calm and collected despite telling her that he had been a demon for centuries. Although that had been hard enough to believe and then trust him, she'd stood with him in order to bring down several demons that literally crawled up from Hell. Amare seemed like a nice guy everything considered, but to Hikari it was like dealing with a small child hyped up on soda. How did he work with others in Uzaki Enterprizes if this was how he was all the time? Either way Hikari was sure she would have to check out the company now knowing that it was actually a group for the spiritually aware in the human world.

Hikari again was tempted to try and keep up with Amare knowing that exercise was almost always better with a partner but could tell she didn't have enough time. She'd have to get back home soon in order to help out her grandfather which meant she couldn't challenge herself beyond seeing how fast she could get home now. Hikari wasn't sure what sort of practice Amare could offer her beyond typical training, pulling from her experience so far with the spiritual encounters she had gone through she could guess he used some sort of weapon, although what she couldn't guess. Either way she'd return his slight bow with one of her own and then turned and begin to jog back home while Amare went on his way.
