I can't believe I'm actually doing this.
✚ OPENING ✚
Passwords: Kitai's Debt, Sanctus Teamwork
Discord: Ilaste#8233
Class/Rank: Class 8/Rank 1
Position/Affiliation: Mercenary{Type: Struggler}
Type: Struggler
Description: Strugglers are individuals who have been abandoned by the graces of fate. These are people who have been cast onto the border between light and darkness. These are those who have been branded with a curse. These curses are unnatural in nature, incapable of being explained by rational science. A curse is not some sort of physical deformity, such as a lazy eye or missing an arm, but rather some sort of supernatural occurrence that thrusts the individual into a life of hardship. Many Strugglers live short lives incapable of tolerating their hardships. Many take their own life or fall to their curse. However, those that struggle on grow into mighty beings with wills of steel. These characters face their troubles with weapon in hand, pushing forward.
Advantages:
- Rank 1: 50% Increase to Strength (100 would be 150). 30% increase to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 130).
- Rank 2: Double Strength (100 would be 200). 50% increase to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 150).
- Rank 3: 150% Increase to Strength (100 would be 250). 50% increase to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 150).
- Rank 4: Triple Strength (100 would be 300). 75% increase to Reiatsu Strength (100 would be 175).
Disadvantages: Any character that takes this Type must create a Curse called Osen. This may differentiate between each character, but its name and overall effect must be the same. Osen causes misery, mayhem, and hardship onto its owner. It is a Curse, not a technique any character can control. Osen can be anything; causing someone to turn to stone at midnight, being incapable of drinking water, causing skin to become burnt in the sunlight. As the character both Classes- and Ranks-up with this Type, the Osen will also become stronger. This takes up one Technique slot for the character. No weaponization of the Osen is possible. It cannot be transferred in any way. The Osen supersedes all other techniques, including Releases. It is not possible to be worked around.
- Rank 1: 30% decrease to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 70). Reduce Senses and Energy Sensory by 25% (100 would be 75). Must have at least 1 point in Strength of Will.
- Rank 2: 40% decrease to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 60). Reduce Senses and Energy Sensory by 25% (100 would be 75). Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
- Rank 3: 50% decrease to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 50). Reduce two Senses and Energy Sensory by 30% (100 would be 70). Must have at least 2 points in Strength of Will.
- Rank 4: 50% decrease to Spiritual Pressure (100 would be 50). Reduce Senses and Energy Sensory by 40% (100 would be 60). Must have at least 3 points in Strength of Will.
Race Restrictions: Available to all Races except Failures, Arrancar, Akki, and Vizard.
Initial Weapons: No starting weapon.{Osen: Rampant Vampirism}While most Bount tend to lean into their dolls, utilizing them for combat first and foremost, Talia does not have that option. Being a lone soul living on her own, Talia has never had the option to manifest so much as one doll. As such, while her Osen "strengthens" as she advances due to missing out on any upgrades said dolls might receive. Being of a lineage that relies on their summons in order to fight, Talia does not have the opportunity to utilize any release whatsoever.{Projected Stats & Skills (280 SP): Click Here}

Name: Talia Rosaria Napolitano
Real Age/Age of Appearance: 246/25
Birthday: Jun. 12th
Blood Type: B-✚ APPEARANCE ✚
Height: 5'9"/175 cm.
Weight: 145 lbs./65.8 kg.
Eye Color: Blood Red
Hair Color: Silver
Physical Appearance:
Talia Rosaria Napolitano is a woman of notable beauty. Standing at five-foot-nine, and weighing in at one hundred and forty five pounds, this vampire girl holds a mature, somewhat aristocratic appearance to her. The girl's hair is naturally silvered, maintaining a snow white color to it at all times. Kept neat and well-managed, Talia's hair remains in a low-hanging ponytail, tied neatly with a blue ribbon. Her hair is generally kept out of the way, remaining neatly flowing behind her at all times.
The girl's eyes seem to almost change color depending on the light she's in, but more often than not retain an almost pale violet color to them. Looking almost white to some, Talia's eyes are one of the major 'draws' to her appearance. That is to say, more often than not folks are going to notice these first when looking at the vampire girl. As previously mentioned, though, her eyes tend to alter in color depending on the light; some might see them as tinted green, red, or even just white.
Moving onto Talia's build, the girl doesn't appear to be very outwardly-muscular. In fact, should someone have the opportunity to see Talia's build, they'll find very quickly that muscle doesn't exactly make itself outwardly prominent despite her rather monstrous strength, making it clear that her physical prowess is much more supernatural than it is something trained. For those that don't exactly expect it from the girl, this could be very likely to catch some people off-guard. Her body is free of any noteworthy scars, blemishes, or other defining marks, very much valuing maintaining at least a semblance of anonymity should she be seen in public.
When it comes to clothes, Talia is generally the type to be found in clothes that practically scream 'new wealth'. While this might be the case, however, almost every outfit the girl is going to be found in tends to have a sort of 'vintage flare' to it. She has a soft spot for the same dress she wore centuries ago; that is to say, a respectable tailcoat, breeches, a cravat, and topped with a plumed tricone hat. Certainly one of her favorite outfits, despite not one she'll be seen in all that often.
Despite these outfits though, Talia doesn't exactly have 'casual' wear. Instead, she'll almost exclusively be found dressing to impress, unless a situation calls for something different. Her most common outfit is a rather simple, deep red Victorian tailcoat, paired with a simple pair of black slacks, with neatly-tied knee-high riding boots. More often than not this is what she's going to be found in, paired nicely with a glass of Nero d'Avola.✚ PERSONALITY ✚
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Likes:
✚ Alcohol - Talia very much enjoys the taste of wine. Namely red wines are her favorites, but in truth? Any work for her. In fact, most any kinds of alcohol tend to remain in Talia's favor. While wines remain her favorite, there isn't a particular kind of alcohol that she actually dislikes.
✚ Quiet - There's something quite relaxing when it comes to having a general lack of background noise around. While Talia is certainly the type to appreciate the bustling noises and city sounds, nothing quite beats being able to simply relax on her own, and enjoy a generally calm atmosphere without any auditory headaches looking to change that.
✚ The Human World - Gas station employees.
✚ Reading - When given the opportunity to, Talia enjoys spending a good bit of her time cracking open a good book. She tends to prefer what are effectively 'classics' at this point; Gatsby, Lord of the Flies, and Fahrenheit 451 remain some of her favorites. Anything Austen is also going to very quickly catch her attention as well; she's a bit of a soft spot for her work.
✚ Photography - She can't quite explain it, and while she'd never resort herself to actually going forth and partaking, Talia does very much enjoy photography. There's something beautiful about being able to capture one specific moment in time, left completely immune to the constant, changing turbulence of the world around oneself.
Dislikes:
✚ Humans - Simply put, Talia finds them dull. Living nothing but fleeting lives, she can't quite understand them at all. Why put forth all of that effort to live 'successful' and wealthy lives if it's all going to go to waste once they leave the Human World? Their lives quite frankly mean little, given it's all for naught.
✚ Unnecessarily Loud Noises - When push comes to shove, the girl can deal with louder noises. She's lived in bustling cities, spent time traveling around to more populated areas, and all-in-all has dealt with high amounts of volume over the years. One thing she doesn't care for, however, is any loud bursts of sound. From fireworks, to gunshots, and everything in between, the girl is very much not fond of these. If she can, she'll do anything in her power to drown out or mute these sounds.
✚ Plants - It's not so much that she doesn't like plants as a whole, but more so that Talia detests the fact that they wither away and die. While sure, some plants and trees can live for decades, if not centuries at a time, it does not change the fact that they'll eventually result in being nothing more than dead cells. It's fleeting beauty like plants that Talia truly resents.
✚ Wanton Bloodshed - Spilled blood without purpose is blood left not spilled. Talia is a firm believer in this fact, and will avoid unnecessary violence if she needs to. The only real exception to this is feeding; she's not going to hold any quarter when it comes to making sure she's fully-maintaining her 'immortality' status. Why would she, after all? Given her aim to live forever, she'll kill if necessary.
✚ Caffeine - Caffeine does some wild things to Talia. Makes her feel incredibly antsy, for lack of a better term. As such, she's going to avoid it where possible. This isn't even beginning to mention that it's horrible to combine with her drinking habits. As such, she's not going to deal with such substances.
Habits:
✚ Drinking - One of Talia's larger vices, the girl is a notable alcoholic. While not quite enough to affect her daily life in most any circumstance, and not quite allowing herself to truly reach that 'intoxicated' point if she can help it, she's still oft found with a drink of some kind in her hand if presented with the opportunity. After all, why not enjoy life when she's got the chance?
✚ Crass - Talia isn't exactly the type to watch her choice of words where she can. If expletives and other unnecessary vocabulary help to emphasize or better get out her point, she's going to use them without remorse. Language is a very... complex thing to navigate; sometimes the words that hit the hardest are those that most don't want to hear, no?
✚ Forthcoming - Talia is very straightforward about most anything she might say. She's absolutely not the type to sugarcoat much of anything if she can help it, unless a situation requires that kind of delicate touch. Thankfully those decisions don't come up all that often, so she tends to simply focus on saying what's on her mind, without a care for repercussions.
✚ Ill-Tempered - When provoked, Talia can prove to be quite an angry individual. Granted, making the girl angry takes quite a bit of effort all thing considered, but when pressed to that point? She's not going to hold back her frustrations. Combat might ensue shortly thereafter, but that isn't quite a guarantee. Something like that is circumstance-dependent.
✚ Fidgeting with Hands - No matter the situation, this vampire girl tends to mess with her hands quite frequently. Whether talking with hand motions, messing with her hands while nervous or in similar emotional states, or making consistent gestures in order to convey her thoughts and requests, it matters not; Talia does quite a bit with her hands.
Flaws:
✚ Vain - It's not hard to see that Talia is incredibly vain. She's very much a 'me first' type of person, and quite full of herself. While she acknowledges that she's not perfect or anything, she doesn't feel that she's far from that illustrious status. Anything she does is going to be in an attempt to better herself, whether through materialistic means or otherwise.
✚ Manipulative - Playing off of the 'vampire' motif, Talia is very much the type of girl to focus on taking advantage of those socially where she can. If there's anything to be gained from "leading a social excursion" as she likes to put it, she's going to take the opportunity to do so. Naturally, this could very quickly lead to some undesirable situations, and a general lack of ability to maintain any form of interpersonal relationship, but what does she care?
✚ Nouveau Riche - Simply put, Talia isn't exactly someone of 'old money'. She generally tends to be quite frivolous with her funding, and spends it as she sees fit. Naturally this isn't exactly going to lead to a lot of good choices; there might be a time or two where she finds herself rather low on money because of this fact, but until that time comes? She doesn't particularly care.
✚ Prideful - Talia is very overconfident in herself. Whether her abilities, social interactions, or anything in between, Talia is hands-down the best; absolutely no contest. While not perfect in everything she does, she still feels that she's unrivaled every field! Truly a being aiming for perfection.
✚ Capitalist - Given her materialistic attitudes, Talia is very much a staunch capitalist. While certainly not above something like theft, she's still very much of the mindset that money and product is most everything. Tying in nicely with her rather expensive way of life, if an opportunity to make money presents itself, she's not exactly going to pass on that.
Fears:
✚ Death - There is nothing in the world that Talia fears more than the thought of losing her life. Given the fact that she's an artificial soul, and thus not bound to the Soul Cycle, she's only got the once chance to make her existence worth something. To perish would mean the end for her; no afterlife, no opportunity to begin again. Nothing is there for her should she perish, and she's going to do her damnedest to make sure that doesn't happen.
✚ Hollows - She can't quite put her finger on it, but Hollows tend to freak Talia out a bit. Given they are what they are, and the fact that most Hollows usually end up looking... well, 'less than human', they don't exactly sit well with her. She's not opposed to engaging them in light combat, and while she generally won't resort to full-on conflict, she's got nothing against putting these beasts down if the situation calls for it, or if her life is in danger.
✚ Shinigami - While not quite a fear, Talia finds herself rather disturbed when it comes to Shinigami. Seeing them as a sort of 'mortal enemy', she's not exactly going to engage in friendly conversation with those affiliated with the Gotei 13. Given she's had to deal with these individuals in her past, and they pose a threat to her existence, she's not going to spend her time affiliating with these people. Unaffiliated or rogue Shinigami, on the other hand, she's willing to tentatively let hang around her, assuming they're not looking to fight.
Goals:
✚ To Live Forever - More than anything else, Talia seeks out eternal life. This is one thing that she is never going to compromise on. It doesn't matter whom she has to step over, whom might end up dead, and the ties she'll have to break to get there; making sure she lasts for many a lifetime is this girl's ultimate goal.
✚ To Live Lavishly - What good is living forever if you can't do so the way you want? It's not hard for really anybody to tell that Talia is very much a materialist. She's the type of person to prioritize her physical assets as best she can, before even beginning to worry about anything else. Property and wealth are rather high points for this girl, and she's going to do anything in her power to not only maintain these, but also expand upon them any chance she gets.
✚ To Expand Upon Her Capabilities - One thing is for certain; the powers that Talia possess are quite interesting, to say the least. Enjoying the whole vampire rumors and mythos that surround her for being a Bount, the girl looks to do what she can in order to continue to perpetuate these thoughts. Thus, improving her spiritual prowess and capabilities is at the top of her list.
Overall Personality:
All-in-all, Talia's a generally laid-back, somewhat careful individual. She's very much the type of person to focus on herself almost exclusively, and operate directly in her own favor. Call it vain, selfish, or just simply cutthroat, Talia is very much an individual with a mind focused on her own endeavors before much of anything else. That's not to say that this is a bad thing, but rather that this is just the way she's always operated; old habits tend to die hard with Talia Napolitano.
In most situations, Talia is going to usually find herself calm and collected. Possessing an almost cold, calculating aura about her, Talia tends to practically exude confidence and cockiness. Almost exactly what you'd expect from some kind of debonaire rich girl, smugness and general self-assuredness run rampant within Talia's space. While not the type to outwardly make everything about her, she does very much enjoy being the center of attention, and generally thrives off that amount of recognition.
Getting on Talia's good side is not inherently a difficult thing to do. When push comes to shove, the girl is rather easy to read most of the time. The best way to get onto the girl's good side would be to shower her with praise, any kinds of materialistic gifts, and just general 'appreciation' for her. Simply put, she thrives off of this kind of attention, and those that give it to her will immediately find themselves in her favor. One thing to note, though; there aren't exactly individuals that Talia 'likes'; only those she tolerates more than others.
Maintaining this good side of Talia's is exactly as simple as would be expected. Keeping up the same gifts, kind words, and just general treatment is a phenomenal way to maintain a good standing with the vampire girl. Those that maintain a constant presence within the girl's favor might find themselves being asked favors from Talia. Should that happen, it'd be in their best interest to get those done, should they still look to remain in favor with the girl. So much as one of those favors not being done (whether due to just general negligence or not being to her specifications) is enough to reverse any progress that might've been made.
Similarly speaking, getting onto Talia's bad side is not a difficult process. As stated earlier, there aren't individuals that Talia really "likes". As such, most everyone starts on her bad side by default. Getting onto this list isn't exactly something that requires direct effort from really anybody, as simply existing and not showing immediate usefulness to the vampire girl is enough to net someone onto this side of hers. Similarly speaking, maintaining a general lack of usefulness to Talia will keep someone here almost indefinitely. Those that remain here for an exceptionally long time might even find themselves target of one of the girl's feedings.✚ COMBAT ✚
Fighting Style:
When it comes to how the girl goes about combat, Talia is a very... unorthodox combatant. Unlike what one would expect from a Technique Master, Talia employs a mix of physical and spiritual combat in order to put down those that might look to challenge the girl. Utilizing both the raw, physical prowess that comes with being a vampire, and the innate spirituality the girl possesses from her mastery over those arts, Talia is quite a force to be reckoned with when given the opportunity to fight to her fullest.
While fighting physically, Talia tends to employ rather potent tactics in order to accomplish her goals; focusing mostly on striking as hard as she's capable of doing, and further aiding her own combative capabilities through techniques like Willpower and Impact, she's quite the physical fighter in her own right when circumstances permit themselves. Those looking to engage the girl in melee combat should certainly be careful, and opt into playing safely if they're looking to put the girl down. After all; she is still a living being with finite ability, and will eventually tire herself out, however long that may take to do.
Looking toward the girl's spiritual capabilities, Talia's focus lies more toward abilities that might otherwise be expected from that of a Vampire; becoming smoke, commanding large groups of small animals, and of course, blood magic. There's naturally a lot to work with here, as one would expect, and Talia has full intention of making use of it all to the best of her ability. From potent ranged attacks, to powerful charms and commands against her foes, it matters not to the girl; every ability she has access to will see full use, and absolutely nobody is safe from the girl's capabilities.
In addition to these normal goals of combat, Talia is also capable of making use of a line of techniques specific to herself, known as the Shinsо̄ (or, "Ancestral Vampire") techniques. Each one of these techniques aim to augment Talia's capabilities in a variety of different ways, from sacrificing her spiritual capabilities in order to alter her physicals, to coat her body in a blood-like armor, give her wings, and various other effects. Each of these techniques are notably essential to the girl's fighting capabilities, and will see ample use as time goes on.
When given the opportunity, Talia is not going to hold much of anything back. She isn't the type to wait to use her strongest abilities; quite the opposite, actually. When given the opportunity, she's going to go all-out from the beginning, aiming to disable and wipe those she seeks to kill off the face of the Three Worlds as best she can. Embodying the idea of a berserker of sorts, Talia's prerogative remains unaltered when it comes to those that look to stand in the way of her quest toward permanent immortality.

Birthplace: Naples, Italy
Current Residence: Karakura Town, Japan
Memorable Figures: N/A
History:{CHAPTER Ⅰ}
June 11th, 1776. 11:53PM. Two parents begin rushing their way to the nearest nurse. Shouts of pain, panicked gasps, and frantic movement fill the air as Rosa & Giorno Napolitano rush to find someone to help deliver their child. Thankfully they aren't long for waiting, as a rather kind woman makes her way over to them with haste. In time, everything goes as planned, and in time the newest member of the Napolitano family is brought into the world at the turn of midnight. Thankfully few complications occur with the girl's birth, and all seems to be going off without a hitch.
At least, that was the initial thought. As the Napolitano family reeled from the birth of their child - named Talia, at that moment - it seemed that another individual had a bit of a different idea for them. Having followed them the entire time, a hooded man made his way through the building in order to find Rosa and Giorno. Intentions far from ideal, the man eventually found their room, and their child alongside them. With an inhuman swiftness, the man had taken Talia from the two new parents, but not before leaving the both of them with twin holes on their necks, originally with the intention to kill them. Unbeknownst to him, that wasn't going to be the case.
Regardless of failed murder or not, the man proceeded to promptly leave the building with the girl, taking her quite a while away from where they'd originally been, and far out of Naples. Residing far from the city, and now a good deal closer to Rome, the man took the girl into his care. Acting as a sort of father figure for her from a young age, this man - Silvano, as he said his name was - began to bring her into her younger childhood years.{CHAPTER Ⅱ}
As Talia began to grow and age, eventually Silvano made the decision to take this human girl and make her into something a bit... more. Bearing down over the girl's neck, and planting his fangs directly into her skin, Silvano made the decision then and there to effectively kill the girl, and allowing her to become something far greater than she could've hoped. Not only had he made the girl into a Bount, destroying her human soul and rebuilding it from the ground up in an instant. With that, Talia promptly blacked out.
When she awoke, she'd become something different. Though, while she'd still retained her memories, body, and general existence, she was no longer human. That much was readily apparent to her. She'd realized very quickly that she'd a lot to learn about the world; something she'd be educated on as the years passed. Though, one thing made itself very clear; Silvano hadn't been whom he said he was. He wasn't the father she'd originally thought, and that led to a number of questions left unanswered for the girl. Regardless though, she'd get her answers in time.
As the years went on, and Talia continued to live under Silvano's teaching, learning about her existence as a Bount, and what that entailed, she was effectively raised into a living weapon. Not quite given the freedom to make her own decisions in most anything, and always under Silvano's thought of what was best for the girl, Talia simply focused on learning about her latent abilities as she was taught; to serve as an avenger and martyr for Bounts as a whole against Soul Society, and to exact violent revenge for the genocides against the Bount in the past.
Naturally, Talia didn't have much room to argue on this fact. Instead, she simply focused her efforts to becoming what was asked of her, not questioning much of anything and simply learning the ins and outs of combat as she could. Quickly filling the shoes demanded of her by Silvano, Talia grew into a rather well-versed young woman, eventually earning the older Bount's respect. As time continued to pass, the girl only further continued to hone her skills until the older of the two eventually deemed her 'ready'.{CHAPTER Ⅲ}
When the time eventually came to pit the girl against Shinigami, such was done with flying success. While she hadn't been given the opportunity to take on more challenging opponents, she'd still been pitted against those that had made it out of the academy. As such, she made little work of them, showing that she'd quite a bit of power and capability behind her despite still being young. And with that, she continued to prove a menace for lower-ranked Shinigami forces, as was directed of her by Silvano. In time, the girl became a force of death itself.
Eventually, that force became a bit too much for Silvano to control. She began to lash back against him, reveling in her newfound power, and challenging him on most everything she had the opportunity to do so. Despite being outmatched against him, she still held a level of resentment toward him for practically taking control of her life from the very beginning. And, while he'd spent some time asleep, she capitalized on the opportunity and took his life. From there? She'd been free. Talia had her own life in her hands.
Eventually, decades passed, and she continued to age ever further. Due to a level of neglect over her abilities and simply existing to sustain herself, she'd let her powers dwindle a bit, but still retained a level of latent ability. Despite that though, something... didn't quite sit right with her. Knowing that Silvano hadn't been her actual father, she'd been filled with a level of determination to find out whom her real parents were. In doing a bit of digging, and with the aid of twenty-first century tech, she'd been able to find that as it turned out? Her parents were not only still alive, thanks to Silvano's fuck-up all those years ago, but also had another son. Packing up her things, and preparing for the journey ahead, Talia began to prep for a trip to Karakura Town, Japan.
