Thread Title: The Only Thing I Know For Real (NDE, R) Participants: Alacrán, William O. Creed World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: Around the busier streets of Karakura Town, in the middle of the day at the busiest possible hour of the afternoon. Special Conditions: Circumstances: Alacrán, after having gone through much embarrassment at the hands of a certain Saika, decides to try and get stronger by causing a ruckus and drawing out any strong individuals...
Alacrán drags himself through the city, after having been through several rather narrow fights. Being put through encounters like that made Alacrán realize how weak he really was and how quickly he needed to gather his strength. So he figured he would go and fill himself up with a handful of souls from the living here. It was lucky that he'd chose to emerge somewhere close to the busier districts, no matter what time of day it was. it meant that even if the souls were weak, there should be plenty for him to fill up on.
He finally reaches said district, and without hesitation, begins causing as much chaos and destruction as he possibly could. With his giant form and strength, it turned out that that could be quite a lot as he was quite literally toppling buildings over, tossing cars aside and ripping up phone poles to swing around at the fleeing civilians. After several minutes of inflicting such chaos, Alacrán began searching the carnage for souls to feast upon, quickly snatching them up and devouring them before they could comprehend what was happening. It displeased and dissatisfied him to gorge himself like this but it was a necessary for him to regain and increase his strength. Especially if he looked to get his revenge on a certain Saika, his broken mandible aching in pain at the memory of recalling the damn Hell resident.

It really seemed like it was too much to ask for just a simple day off now that he had returned to the life of a spiritual defender. During the week William was a rising officer of the law in Tokyo where he had his hands full with paperwork and criminals that quite frankly were getting more brazen. If that wasn’t enough though whenever he actually managed to get a day off, he went to Karakura in order to investigate whether or not anything was going on of the spiritual nature in a town that, had it happen far more often than anywhere else in Japan to his knowledge.
He’d taken the train from Tokyo getting a nice side cabin that let him lay down stretched out a bit although the bed was quite small for someone of his height. While lying there William was able to enjoy himself by looking out the window at the scenery of Japan even if quite a bit of it happened to be urban it was still something he would deem pleasant. A nice small cabin away from others where he was allowed to collect his thoughts and relax with a bottle of water and a bag of chips. The train ride though it seemed would be the only thing enjoyable about his day off.
Only a couple minutes after getting off the train and arriving in Karakura came the sounds of screaming. A familiar sound to William yet one not pleasant in the least almost like how a normal person hates that typical alarm clock sound. Of course, William hated that alarm clock setting as well but the screaming was worse, and he couldn’t turn it off right away. Rushing towards the source of the screaming and then pushing past the individuals that scurried off after about three minutes William saw the sight of a large Hollow turning over cars and pushing buildings over.
Collateral damage aside the lives that William was fairly certain that had already been lost was unacceptable. His lack of readapting to the spiritual lifestyle had just cost these people their lives. If he’d slotted himself more time to further train himself once again, he could have arrived here faster. It’d taken him only a handful of minutes to reach this destination and yet if Bringer Light wasn’t still beyond his grasp he could have gotten here in a handful of seconds. Unacceptable not just to himself, but to all those who’d already been slain by an invisible enemy.
Ready to focus his reiatsu in order to call upon his Fullbring, William’s attention for a brief moment is stolen by a sight he never wanted to plague his vision again. A section of a building stone almost like a boulder with its size yet that wasn’t what gripped William’s heart, it was the pool of red beneath the boulder. A human of unknown age has been crushed beneath, reduced to nothing more than a broken shell. A gate that very few deserved and William wouldn’t ever seem acceptable to this individual nor any of the others that had already perished due to his slack.
His concentration broken William couldn’t waste another second with channeling his Fullbring instead moving his left hand downward and across to his right hip. The familiar density of the metal around his hand as the Standard was pulled from its holster. A handgun that was modern in appearance and pitch black in color yet didn’t appear as anything other than just average. Aiming towards the large Hollow off about a hundred feet William fires a single bullet positioned to puncture the center mass of the Hollow’s chest.
Alacrán would be caught absolutely off-guard as the bullet pierces his chest and exits from his back, causing him to drop several of the souls he'd been in the process of consuming. He lets out an inhuman screech as he turns to find who his assailant was and spots the small human some hundred feet away from him. The pained look that had sat on his face twists into a pure, malicious grin as he turns to face the human who had mustered the courage to fight him. The fact that he could not only see Alacrán but also managed to damage him showed that this human was quite powerful. ”About time one of these ants decided to fight back. I was beginning to think the only thing around here was food.”
His movements are much more sluggish now that his armor had been pierced and the nerves connected to it were sending constant pain throughout Alacrán’s body as he moved. This doesn’t stop the Menos from charging what appears to be a small Cero in between his mandibles as he slowly begins making his way towards where the human was. He doesn’t stay in sight for long however, as with one step, Alacrán slipped into a hole that seemed to break open before him and he vanished within it. Now traveling through the valley of screams straight towards the human at a speed of 390, unimpeded by any buildings.
As he reappears in front of the human, the red orb between his mandibles humming loudly now as the menos raises a hand and five, smaller orbs form at the end of each of his fingertips before he lets loose a volley of Balas. As the Balas hail down on the human, Alacrán would then try to catch the man in between the mandibles as he slams down on them with his face, and if successful, sets off the bite-sized Cero in the process. Whether this would be successful or not, he’d then quickly pull himself back up and observe the damage he’d possibly done.

The singular shot that’s been fired from The Standard was good, piercing through the chest of the Hollow while causing enough damage that the few humans it had been holding were dropped and could get away now. Just as he’d expected the Hollow turned and found him, he was going to be the tastiest of everyone around here that much he knew, he knew the Hollow was going to be thinking that as well. Reading hundreds of documents about the life of a Hollow gave William insight and that was something he used against them and this one as well.
This Hollow, while big, wasn't particularly fast in fact it almost seemed slow, it wasn’t above that of a normal human although it still covered more than enough space due to its size. Moving towards him William could spot the red reiatsu near its mouth knowing full well that it was a cero since a bala would more than likely have already been fired off at him. Aiming his pistol for a moment, William ready to pull the trigger once again this time aiming for the cero, sees the Hollow fade away.
“Damn took too long, now he can appear anywhere.”
The next moment or so was clear and then everything grew dark for William as the size of the Hollow right in front of him blocked out the sun. He was now for sure fighting in the shadows. Lifting the pitch-black handgun upwards William pulls the trigger right as the hand of the Hollow fires out bullets of his own, William confident in his speed normally knew he couldn’t evade instead opting to block. His right arm moved up like he was going to take a blow to the head and then he was knocked backwards.
Knocked through the air from the repeated blows of the bala William feels the impact on his back as he makes contact once again. He’d been sent flying more than ten feet from the Hollow with smoke all over his body and pain washing over him. It wasn't the worst pain that he'd have to deal with that much was for certain. As for the Hollow well he’d have to deal with the fact that William had been able to pull the trigger twice before getting knocked away by the bala, both bullets sent upwards into his chest just like the first shot.
Although he was in quite a bit of pain now William pushes forward keeping his consciousness from slipping away although everything in his field of view for the moment is blurry. Getting up to his feet took a moment as blood dripped from his right arm to the cement below his feet. Standing on the sidewalk little more than ten feet from the Hollow, William stares him down with a chuckle, the coat he’d been wearing torn to pieces now only really on his left side and his right arm bleeding with all fabric gone.
“Five shots and this is the best you do? To think I was worried over something so minor.”
Alacrán pulled his head up and let out a roar as the fresh two bullet holes in his body. The small, bite-sized Cero that had sat between his mandibles seemed to have gone off on the ground but that was the least of the giant Gillian's concern. He stares down at the human who was shooting up at him, growling in pain and anger. Well, at least it seemed that all that wasn't for naught as the volley of Bala had done more than he'd expected which seems to have been worth the two shots he'd taken in his chest.
While his nerves were on fire from the wounds left by the gun, they appeared to be leaving normal sized holes which meant Alacrán didn't have to worry about massive holes in his body as the gun that the human was using was only special in that it was capable of hurting him and that was it. So for now Alacrán wasn't too worried about being shot several more times with his massive frame as large as it was which meant a few small bullets and firearms weren't too much for him to handle.
So to answer the human's question, he roars as he takes one massive step forward and then swings the other foot to kick the human with all his might. He then continues moving forward, not really expecting the human to be faster than him since he hadn't dodged the barrage of Bala earlier, and sweeps his hand out in front of him with enough force to produce a shockwave that'd tear through the streets and buildings.

Standing up on his feet after taking the blows that he did wouldn’t have been possible just a few short months ago. Although he was disappointed in himself still for even allowing his body and spiritual powers to get flabby, this was reassuring that his training was getting him back into shape. His right arm was bleeding and he’d need a new coat, but the damage was nothing compared to what had gone down on the mountain path with Kazura. Something that he still hadn't really accepted as he had been reduced to barely more than a helpful hand, something he wouldn't allow himself to do again.
A simple roar like always was the response of the Hollownwho had taken a moment to feel out the wounds that William had managed to inflict on it with the Standard. His eyes scanned over the figure of the Hollow witnessing the blood leaking from the three holes he’d punctured into its chest. He could tell now that despite having the power to punch through this Hollow’s outer shell and cause harm the bullets simply weren’t big enough to inflict enough damage internally. He had to aim for somewhere smaller or use something more potent.
His left hand moving up his chest grips the ring held on the chain around his neck and then the Hollow would be able to feel it. William’s reiatsu begins to rise as it becomes visible around him as a silver grey pushing everything around him slightly like a breeze. He didn’t know anything about the Hollow but knew his reiatsu so if nothing else this Hollow would get to enjoy the scent of fresh coffee before it dies. His reiatsu spreads the favorable scent across the area while William grins.
By the next moment the ring that William had been holding in his left-hand morphed growing in size, changing in color warping its shape into that of a firearm, specifically a pistol that seemed old enough to belong in a museum. A pistol now in his left hand while the other in his right looked modern. How would the Hollow take the appearance of another weapon? It wouldn’t matter to William as he brought both his arms forward while calling on the ground beneath his feet to help him jump backwards.
Soul command aiding him to accomplish the distance he could traverse by leaping backwards William would evade the forward kick of the massive Hollow aiming both of his pistols forward and pulling the triggers. The Standard would fire off its fourth bullet while Venandi’s bullet would move far faster hitting the Hollow a fraction of a second before the other both set to price the Hollow’s throat. Although it wouldn’t likely kill it, crippling its mobility was possible.
Whether it was successful or not though the Hollow if it continued forward to hit William would find it’d miscalculated, William was in fact much faster than it. Managing to evade the swing of its massive arm by going against diagonal direction further back away from the side of the swing. William though hadn’t been expecting a shockwave to be sent off its arm causing what would seem like a massively strong gust of wind to knock cars and such on their sides while everything else was sent backwards against the buildings of the street. William found himself knocked backwards even with the distance between them.
Holding onto his pistols with every bit of strength in his arms William felt his body roll against the cement of the sidewalk while his form was now groaning pretty much everywhere. After a couple moments he felt his body settle, lifting his head up to look around and find the Hollow. Immediately swinging his left hand forward at the Hollow to fire off another two shots at the Hollow’s center mass. Each bullet from Venandi traveled at 1200 speed meaning the Hollow would be nearly as helpless as a normal human staring down the barrel of the gun.
So Alacrán was a little surprised to find the Human leaping back with such speed as he tried to kick him only to then be further surprised by the sudden appearance of a second gun as another two bullets manage to pierce his throat, causing him even more pain to contend with although he felt himself also weakening in a spiritual way as he watched souls begin to leak from one of the hole in his throat. However this didn't slow his moment as he carried forward with his plan, sending William flying with the shockwave.
While William was taking the moment to recover, Alacrán would cover the hole that was leaking souls with one hand and raise the other to begin charging another five Bala which he fires at William just as the human would look up and apparently attempt to shoot him. Of course William probably had time to fire off his next two shots in which case Alacrán would screech as his chest now had two more holes which were leaking more souls, both human and Hollow alike.
Alacrán was feeling weary now and knew he'd have to end this soon and as quickly as could. So while William was distracted and hopefully recovering from the second Bala barrage, the massive Gillian would make it's way into another Ulcera and move towards William, emerging from it by the building next to William which he then swings a massive hand through the corner of, sending large and small bits of debris falling to the ground.
With a part of the building somewhat weakened, Alacrán then begins to pull it down towards William, sending the structure collapsing over and onto the ground without any care for people who may be inside. He then raises a foot and begins stomping onto the debris, hoping to just simply crush and bury the man if he'd been caught underneath all the rubble.

Getting knocked away by a shockwave from this Hollow wasn’t something that William had been expecting nor was it something he enjoyed. Although it was painful and he expected as much the damage that it caused his ribs was regrettable. Getting back up onto his feet in order to unleash Venandi and then start shorting at the Gillian. A grin spreading across his face the man with the gun felt a wave of pride in the speed of his bullets as he watches the blood splash out from the throat of the Hollow.
This thing was simply too big though to be brought down with four bullets even if two of them had just punched right through the flesh of its neck. He’d have to keep unloading lead into its abomination of a body until it collapsed on the ground at which point, he’d unload enough into its head for it to disappear. No time was wasted by either of the combatants though as William fired off additional shots at the chest of the Hollow while doing his best to move to the side.
Despite his analysis of the situation and what the Hollow was doing once again William felt the impact against his right shoulder. The bala that had been fired at him weren’t the strongest having the force of a pinnacle athlete yet only that of a normal human all the same. William could feel more accurately now that his own physical strength would hit harder than these bala, but five of them had done enough to him already. Two more striking his right shoulder was enough to knock the Standard out from his hand onto the cement street.
By the time William maneuvered Venandi the small distance over to sun at the Hollow accurately once again he could see the figure dimpling into what he knew as Ulcera. The knowledge of Hollows aiding William now as he quickly rushed back over and picked up The Standard. His right arm was in bad condition now, but he could still move his fingers although with more effort now. Continuing to rush in the same direction using his momentum William twists his ankles turning his body around while looking all around to find the Hollow.
Only taking a moment to see the Hollow now emerging from its Ulcera and knocking the section of the building now about five meters away from him down and towards him William begins dancing backwards moving as best he can to avoid the larger sections hurling towards him. Holstering the Standard in his right hip, William feels the thuds of smaller sections hitting him a few times comparable to being hit with a baseball at an average speed. He’d drop to his right knee for a moment only to see the Hollow wasn’t finished.
Raising Venandi and standing up while moving to his right across the street, William fires off the remaining two bullets inside Venandi’s chamber at the Hollow. Aiming once again for the throat hoping this time it’d cause enough damage in the small essential area to either wind the Hollow or kill it. He could see the reiatsu of the Hollow was leaking out at a decent clip now which was a problem, something he was certain of by the hand doing its best to keep the reiatsu inside.
William wasn’t sure if his bullet should manage to hit the throat of the Hollow or if they’d connect with part of its hand either way though his aim was trained enough, he was confident he couldn’t miss at this distance. Now though he had to sprint to the other side of the road doing his best as the building was brought down towards him. Rolling into a nearby alleyway on the other side of the street. One narrow enough that the Hollow wouldn’t be able to fit comfortably giving William a potential bird's nest to shoot in at the Hollow.
Alacrán wasn't surprised by the fact that Bala had very little effect on the human, considering they were supposed to be much weaker than a Cero and Alacrán's basic spiritual powers weren't nearly as strong as what most other Hollows had in their arsenal. He was also a bit surprised as well as very frustrated that the human had managed to dodge most of the larger fallen debris as the man darted across the street and managed to take pot shots at Alacrán once again. While the human was fleeing, Alacrán noticed that he seemed to be somewhat damaged so it seemed that what he'd done was not for nothing, assuming that some of the smaller debris had managed to strike the human.
He was thankful that he'd left his hand on his throat to try and stem the still leaking stream of souls as the bullets pierced his hand, producing two more holes for souls to leak out of which caused Alacrán a great deal of anger as he felt himself weakening with each soul that left his body. He growls as he watches the human retreat into an alleyway that was much too small for Alacrán to try and squeeze into. However that wasn't a concern for Alacrán as it meant that the human didn't have many other places to run to, at least that was his hope.
Alacrán doesn't immediately chase after the human as he instead reaches down and grabs one of the larger chunks of debris and crushes it in between his hands, creating smaller bits of rubble. He then reels back the one hand that held all this rubble and sends it rocketing straight into the alleyway with enough force to cause it to cause the now multitude of smaller debris to stick into whatever they struck. Assuming that the Human hadn't risked being pelted and took cover, he'd then spread out his arms wide to his side before he quickly closes them, slamming his hands together to cause a shockwave to go barreling down the alleyway as well.
Hoping that he was keeping the Human on the defensive, what with dodging the rubble before and now this shockwave, Alacrán tenses his legs for a moment, bending his knees just a bit before he springs up and takes off into the air, reaching a surprising height for his massive size, and jumps onto one of the buildings that was next to this alleyway, most likely causing the building to crumble underneath his weight and enormous form. If so then that hopefully cause enough dust and debris to scatter into the air to cloud the large Gillian, which would also hopefully make it harder to get a good shot off on him, as he then sends one massive fist down into the alley, where he'd last seen the Human.
Post by William O, Creed on Sept 28, 2022 20:14:14 GMT -5
Rushing across the street into the alley turned out to be a decent move for William as he was correct with his assessment that the Hollow was much too large to directly chase after him. He could already feel the difference though in Venandi, he was empty which meant it was going to take a moment to reload. A moment that he might not have. William wasn’t blind he’d been able to see the reiatsu leaking out from the bullet wounds that he’d managed to inflict on the Hollow. At the same time though he couldn’t tell how much of a reserve this Hollow was working with so betting on it wasn’t a good move either.
Getting several feet into the alleyway William’s right hand lived down mimicking the motions it had just done a couple seconds ago by gripping the Standard and pulling it from the holster. Despite being a bit away from the Hollow he could still hear the growl that it released with its irritation. “Yeah yeah go ahead think I’m not doing the same about my coat ya big bag of bad choices.” Based on the weight of the standard William knew it had ammunition still within, a fact that led to him making a quick over the shoulder gaze backwards to witness the Hollow holding a large section of cement.
He wasn’t sure how this Hollow was going to attack, but he knew now that he didn’t have the only option of distance. Sprinting with all his might now to reach the end of the alleyway William calls on the soul of the cement beneath his feet to push him further. One step two step and then leap right to the end of the alleyway as the barrage of stones are sent hurtling down the narrow piece of the village. Panting now William rolls to the right holding both his pistols tightly while feeling the resistances of the ground against his skin.
Thankfully the rubble shower and shockwave were evaded although the shockwave managed to mess with his roll with the force it sent through the area. Now after a moment William positioned himself behind the body of a small car. On the side of the road opposite the alleyway he’d just come from there were three vehicles, all three cars with different colors. “Come on, you should’ve already broken his mask. You’ve got enough firepower now to use it. Can’t believe how rusty I still am.” Getting himself into the moment again William hears the Hollow land on one of the buildings on the street. The weight scattering some of the windows.
Pulling his dagger from its holster on his left hip by placing Vendandi in his lap, William swings his left arm up using his dagger’s edge to cut clean through the plastic brace that connects to the car mirror. By the time the Hollow reaches down thinking it’ll punch William or even find him in the alleyway the mirror is raised up just over the passenger side window of the car. His dagger back in its holster, William angles the mirror over his head for a moment to find the Hollow. Placing the mirror down next to him William grabs Vendandi in his left hand again and then rises up in one fluid motion brings The Standard forward and fires off its remaining three shots right up at the Hollow aiming for center mass.
Alacrán had kept his eye on William as best as he could, the human moving way faster than he ever could and likely would never keep up with, while he'd thrown the rubble and shockwave and even as he soared through the air. So when he crashed through the building, instead of sending his fist down into the alleyway, he turned himself and threw his punch down toward the cars that William had taken shelter behind. However in his severely weakened state, he was no where near fast enough to send his punch down before Willian rose up and sent off his last three shots straight into Alacrán's torso and even slower still to try and use his Hollow hole to 'dodge' the bullets.
However even though each bullet send a wave of pain through him as they impacted and cracked through his skin, it wasn't enough force to stop his punch from coming down on the cars and William. However, when he pulls his hand and body back up, he starts to move forward, kicking his leg out with enough force to breaking through the buildings walls and hopefully send some more rubble towards the Human. He removes his hand from his throat at this point, figuring there was no way he could actually prevent the souls from leaking from his wounds so he wouldn't waste energy trying to keep them there.
As he steps out of the building and stands back up to his full height, he figures with his energy and reiatsu draining quickly now, he'd only have a few moments before he would be forced to retreat so he needed to try and end this in as few moves as possible. So he raises both hands in the air, fists clenched, and slams them into the ground with all the strength he could muster in an attempt to send out shockwaves rippling through the ground. He'd then follow that up by digging his fingers into the concrete and upheaves a good chunk of the ground that he sends flying at the human.
He wasn't sure how well this would damage the human but he figure he would never be able to land an actual, physical hit on the man as he was much faster and smaller than Alacrán. So he needed to use the environment around them as well as what he could of his physical strength. An idea popped into his head however and he smirked as he raised his hands once more to charge two Balas that he then quickly fires off towards some cars that were hopefully near William and also hoping that the charged energy, while weak would still be enough to trigger explosions for the cars.

Turning around while he stands up managing to fire off the remaining bullets from The Standard’s clip at the large Hollow, William barely has time to take a step backwards then brace himself as the insane extension of reach slams into the car before his form. Getting knocked backwards by the force, William rolls against the hard cement of the sidewalk until his back hits the body of a building that had been behind him. Literally with his back against the wall William’s focus refocuses in an instant to the sight of the Hollow breaching through the walls of the building it sank through.
“Couldn’t just stay away. Had to get back involved huh. Dumbass.”
Sore by now with his upper body almost screaming at him with the damage and stress that he had placed on it during this brief battle already. Both his pistols were empty now and the Hollow despite having more holes in it than a college term paper, was still coming for more. William really had to question whether or not he’d mistaken his judgment of this Hollow’s reserves. His physical strength was high, so his spiritual pressure was assumed to be lacking although that no longer seemed correct. There had to be something that he was missing, something that he hadn’t seen, this Hollow didn’t fit the profile which wasn’t normal.
The car that he had been hidden behind was demolished and now reduced to nothing more than scrap metal. The sort of damage that a kid could manage on a toy if he had a hammer. Shards and scraps of metal, plastic and glass littered the area around William now as he pushed himself up onto his feet with his back against the wall aiding in his rise. Although he was focused on the Hollow at the moment the sound of all the debris falling from his clothing to the sidewalk under him filled his ears, although at the moment hearing anything beyond ringing was a struggle. Dropping the Standard to the sidewalk, William's hands begin to work like a machine as Venandi’s cylinder slides over.
Fingers moving like a dance from endless practice, William forming his reiatsu into the slots taking on the form of bullets. Despite the insane speed that Venandi seemed to fire off its bullets with, this was perhaps its most glaring weakness. One that William had hoped to avoid by filling the Hollow’s body with enough holes that it would be on the ground dying. He now knew for certain though that such small bullets even from Venandi couldn’t always be trusted to achieve such a thing. “I need something with more power than a pistol.” Remarking to himself as the cylinder spins and then it pushes back into place finishing the reload in less than a handful of moments.
His back against the wall of the building still William’s eyes locked on the Hollow who had just crushed part of the building that it was literally standing within now. He could feel the residual power of the shockwaves that it was causing with the muscles that its body possessed. It felt almost like someone pushing him or holding him against the wall, now though the Hollow had intention once again and the two made moves against one another in unison. The Hollow sends out rubble at William at random while William holds Venandi out with his left hand, his right eye closed with his left thumb moved upwards pulling back the folding trigger like he had been doing and then pulling the trigger itself to send out the sixth bullet of Venandi.
In the moments that followed William felt the heavy thuds of rubble striking the wall he leaned against some of the heavy stone and metal of the rubble cracking the wall. Feeling as if something like a bed he had been laying on was being shook by something else so much that it actually rattled his bones. After everything though William was on the sidewalk with his left knee on the ground while his right leg was held in position to lift his weight up, breathing heavily with Venandi held tightly in his left hand at his side. Bleed dripping from his right limp arm to the sidewalk as he struggles to keep his attention on the Hollow who had just managed to break his right arm with a piece of fucking rock!
Pain wasn’t something that William didn’t have a close personal relationship with, in fact it was probably the only thing he had a functioning relation with as both understood one another and could work through their differences. Venandi almost being flung upwards as his left arm lifts him almost erratically and then firing off with more instinct than skill William tries to get another shot off at the Hollow before it can harm others just as the cars near him are knocked over closer to him. Thankfully the strength of the bala wasn't much although his torso still reeled from the impact of several likely wanting to challenge such an accusation from the cars.
Alacrán had barely managed to get the first Bala off before the draining from the first bullet had decided to drain the last of his strength. As it did, he felt his entire body go limp and his eyes roll to the back of his head as he just slowly and suddenly begins to collapse on himself from the overall physical and spiritual exhaustion. He didn't even get to see what damage he'd really caused on William let alone the fact that the cars hadn't even exploded from his weak Bala.
So without any warning, his massive body comes crashing down to the ground in full force, crushing anything underneath him without any care. It would take quite a bit of muscle to move the behemoth before he woke back up and William should pray that he doesn't wake back up any time soon because when he does, he will be rightfully pissed at the results of this excursion to have been taking down by a lowly human with a small gun that somehow caused his reiatsu to drain. Slumbering against the wall of the building behind him William manages to keep his eyes open, witnessing the massive Hollow dropping down. William knew what this meant, a smile breaking out across his face. Finally Venandi’s wounds had leaked enough of this Hollow’s reiatsu out. Passing out from such a thing meant this Hollow would be out of the game for a little bit. Long enough that William could get some distance between them, long enough that someone else in UE could arrive and finish it off.
The chance was there for William to reload the Standard or Venandi and then empty a clip in the skull of the Hollow, but the size difference had already told him such a thing might not even kill the massive foe. Getting back up onto his feet was a struggle that didn’t end quickly as the Standard was retrieved and placed back in its holster. Vendandi returning to its ring form, being slipped on his right ring finger was easy enough. William would then do his best, limping and leaning on buildings to reach UE tower fast enough this Hollow could be eliminated by someone with a bigger attack.
