Seeing Wynne get off of him, Aldwin sighed as he quickly realized that the girl wasn't going to introduce herself at all. Truthfully it was of no concern to him, as he wasn't going to go out of his way to return the favor if he didn't need to. Especially given everything that went down; making himself Public Enemy #1 against Soul Society was far from the right move at the time. He'd just have to wait out the heat (if any) that this girl's return was going to bring. Everything was hopefully going to be okay.
As Wynne walked back with the broken remains of his sword, Aldwin watched, somewhat confused. "You're more than welcome to take it, I've no problem with that; that said, though, you sure you don't want something a bit more... I don't know, durable? If you'd like, I can get a stronger version of that sword going for you. All I'll need is just a bit of time to secure the funds required. If you're willing to help with resource gathering, I might just be able to construct something that'll hold up to your.... caliber of combat, so to speak."
Truthfully, Aldwin didn't know if doing such a thing at the moment was possible. Sure, he saw himself as a skilled craftsman, but making something suitable for a Shinigami to use? In place of their own fancy swords, nonetheless? He didn't know. Truthfully he didn't really have a way to tell, though. He'd just have to try. Though, that did bring about an interesting point: he needed a new weapon for himself. Considering she was taking his only blade, he didn't have anything he could use to defend himself. That needed to change.
Though, getting another weapon made was one thing. That was easy. Anyone could reasonably make a weapon with little to no problem; the issue here was getting another one of those swords made. Something that he could use to purify hollows. Fact of the matter was that he needed to keep contact with a Shinigami. Perhaps this girl was the best option? Hell, even if she wasn't, Aldwin didn't really have much of a choice here. She was the only one he'd talked to in quite some time, and needed to establish that contact sooner rather than later.
"If you're willing," he said, "I'd like to ask your name. I know things have been... rough, between us, but that doesn't change the fact that having contact with each other is a net positive for both of us. I'd like to be able to learn more about Shinigami culture, and you seem pretty interested in that sword; seems we both have something that each other could reason to benefit from. I'll even give you my name first; it's Aldwin Blackwood."
While he didn't expect her to give her name after all that had happened, he certainly hoped that she would. Certainly she had some desire to keep in contact? Even if it was just for the sword. Assuming she did give him her name, he simply nodded with a smile. Aside from what had just happened, Aldwin was more than glad to consider the day a success. Sure, things were a bit rough, given the fact that he ended up losing control, but in truth, he'd gained quite a bit more than he'd expected to from the little venture.
That aside though, he realized something quite quickly; he needed to get some sort of binding for his demon blood. Didn't matter what it was, but he needed something to suppress himself, as to make sure that this didn't happen again. He couldn't afford to let himself just lose control like that again. Perhaps Wynne, Celes, or any of the other Shinigami would be willing to help with that? Only time would tell. For now, though, he needed to see what he could do on his own in order to get things under control. Time wasn't something he could waste, evidently.
As Wynne likely saw herself out, Aldwin simply lay there on the pavement, running over everything in his mind while he could. Truthfully, he was exhausted. That little fight saw him significantly overexerting himself, but apparently unlocking something new from his demon blood. While not exactly looking up for him, things were certainly starting to take an interesting turn. Assuming that Wynne wasn't just going to sell him out, though, he had room to grow; room to continue to expand his brand, and keep perfecting his gear to aid Soul Society.
