The last summoning of the little avian lizard by the tree creature was something that Teresa had been expecting as it was starting to seem as if this other entity could just bring out soldiers to fight for her endlessly. Despite constantly witnessing them being knocked around and eaten Teresa was almost certain that they could be brought back out yet it would probably cause something or cost something, thus they weren’t at the moment. She wasn’t really sure what kind of repercussion could be attached to such a power yet the fact they weren’t being called back out and this dragon was still a threat meant it was a heavy one.

Over the course of the next few moments Teresa shoved her clawed fingers into the back wound of the large lizard’s leg in order to further the damage that's already been inflicted while the current little avian that this tree creature controlled flew right at the large lizard’s mouth. Distracting it would have been a decent choice while Teresa did her best to really take out the back leg yet flying directly into the mouth of the lizard wasn’t something that Teresa or the lizard ever expected. Getting past the majority of its teeth with only scraps the little lizard would be able to cause deep lacerations on the inside of the lizard’s throat.

Blood of green color poured from the interior wounds bathing the little lizard in it before a mass of flames roared up from the stomach of the lizard incinerating the little lizard and rushing from its mouth out towards the tree creature and her canine. The flames clashing with the bala that the canine fired off causing minor explosions of reiatsu before the large lizard roars in pain as a large ball of acid is expelled onto its back. A cold burning across its back burning its wings and spine while Teresa hops backwards clutching at her left forearm.

She’d risked herself by getting so close to the lizard yet it hadn’t even registered her as a threat compared to everything else it had been dealing with and ultimately the large serpent servant of the tree creature had caused her harm instead. Some of the acid splashing off the back of the large lizard managed to find itself on her left forearm burning through the white armor like skin that made up virtually all of Teresa’s being. Pain with a heavy mixture of anger burning through the forefront of Teresa’s mind directed up at the serpent. Only a couple minutes earlier and she wouldn’t have the stability to redirect her rage.

Holding out her right arm towards the large lizard, Teresa expresses her intent to the little avian’s that continued to stay positioned around her. While the strange bala were unleashed upon the lizard slamming into its body and exploding like a pop rock, one of the little lizards flew from Teresa’s left towards the larger one. It’d be at this point that both Teresa and the tree creature would witness something new, the little lizard igniting its own body turning into what Teresa could only compare to a flaming arrow. Soaring through the top of the large lizard’s neck with no apparent resistance the little one inflicted a deep wound only to vanish as its body turned to ash.

Astrid was not the smartest being around. That much was a guaranted fact. However even being on the dumber side of life she had to admit things were going a good bit better than she'd expected. For one thing the little chick managed to get in and do some damage to this things throat. Before it burned up into ash and petals. Frustrated as Astrid was, she had to admit that at least it did its job. But more importantly she'd been saved by her canine's bala. She was still going to screech at them later but at least she could live long enough, maybe in this realm, to do such. But last and not least was the fact the serpent had managed to land a solid streak of acid across this thing's backside. Bonus points it even managed to make Teresa back off. Which Astrid would be lying if she'd said there wasn't a part of her that was happy at this.



However what Teresa did next shocked Astrid. For one, she was fighting the dragon. Which didn't make sense because didn't Teresa spawn this thing? From the look on her face and the chick apparently that was up for debate. Astrid didn't like that prospect because that means she might have given this hollow far too much concern. . . and brain power that she frankly was already overclocking on. She decided however to instead focus on attacking the thing before her, even cutting off her own plan of teleporting onto it's back given there wasn't a safe space on there to move to anymore. However yet again Teresa, more specifically a chick had managed to catch Astrid entirely off guard. So much so that Astrid seriously had to have a sit down with all her summons and figure out their abilities. Namely the mother fucking chicks.



One minute there was a damaged chick. The next it was on fire. And the next there was now a pretty sizable wound on the dragon's neck. Granted the chick was no longer present but shit that spoke volumes about where and what to do. Something Astrid was more than willing to sacrifice many a spirit to do. She growled out her orders to the spirits she had left and made a mental note of where all the chicks' spirits were inside her. She'd need them very soon if all went well. For her canine she had it rapid fire as many bala as it could make but at this thing's leg, the wounded one. She needed to distract it further and pin it. From there she got the serpentine hollow to swoop down directly at the dragon and wrap its body around it.



Namely with its head latching onto the wound with its jaw line and vomiting up acid directly on it. Or more accurately into it. As for Astrid she simply waited until within 5 feet of the dragon and threw out her last sigil. It'd land onto the base of its neck and back and once there she'd spawn all 5 of the chicks she'd eaten once again but with one order. Spear through this things neck and out the other side. With naught but a nod the chicks all lit up on fire and lined up. From there with the dragon so heavily distracted, Astrid figured it'd be damn near impossible for the fucking thing to realize what she'd do. Thus, the next few moments, unless it could stop it or worse, yet Teresa stopped it, would be practically sealed in stone.



The chicks would fly up, line themselves up already on fire and then throw themselves into the backside of its neck just a bit before Astrid and tear through the skin and flesh. Obviously, none of these chicks would survive and to Teresa and even Astrid this would be a sort of combative beauty as the petals from their death throes would return to Astrid however with the flames still burning or exploding, whatever the case may be from the other chicks it'd look like the petals were on fire and being blown away gently. Almost with a serene grace to it before finally returning to various little flowers on Astrid's shrub. This was hopefully the finishing move given what she'd seen. If not, she'd have to keep summoning up spirits, but Astrid had to admit one thing.



She was fucking tired. Hungry? That was normal. Pissed off? Again, typical and almost a guarantee at this point. But tired? Astrid very rarely was "tired" but all these spirits being used and this fight and all the teleporting? Yea. She was starting to really feel a good bit of exhaustion she hadn't felt in... what felt like forever given she couldn't recall the last time she was tired. It was actually so prominent for her that she could feel it staving off the hungry within her a bit. Which frankly was fucking impressive. She'd need to figure out how to deal with this soon. Because if she got much more tired, she might actually be in far more danger than she'd even realized. But regardless now wasn't the time to focus on this. She needed to leave and quick! Thus, once her order was given to the chicks, she'd immediately jumped off the dragon's backside and started racing towards her canine. She needed a mount to help her keep up. And honestly? The serpent was not likely to remain for much longer for obvious reasons.

The chicks were summoned, lit on fire, and subsequently fired at the nape of the dragons neck. Each attack one after the other.

The burning sensation that Teresa felt on her arm wasn’t one that really seemed to be fading, a constant unnerving pain unlike anything she’d experienced or at least could remember. Even while she’d been human she’d never felt anything quite like this. The closest thing she could compare it to was what had been her undoing as a human. The gas that had been unleashed on her town yet this didn’t feel like that as it was almost more direct in how it felt. Either way though she clung to the wound while observing what was continuing to unfold like she had been.

The little flying lizard that she’d sent out to attack the foe had unleashed an attack more potent than anything she’d witnessed them doing prior. A fact that made her question whether or not this large lizard had wanted them beaten so it could devour them while they still lived. Teresa couldn’t tell whether or not this large lizard was smart enough to actually plan such a thing out yet what she was watching told her it didn’t matter much for it’d failed. The large snake that could fly took advantage of the wound that Teresa had inflicted on the back of the lizard’s neck.

Biting down on the wound would have appeared to be enough at least from what Teresa could see yet then she saw the same unmistakable liquid that was continuing to cause her pain. Almost as if the snake was vomiting up on the lizard burning through its neck even further. Just another couple of moments past that were filled with this tree creature using all of her servants to inflict damage onto the lizard that was simply overkill. By the start of the next minute the large lizard was nothing more than a cut apart body with a separated head as green blood stained the sand all around the remains.

At the end of it all Teresa would stand making sure to keep an eye on not just the canine and massive snake but the tree creature her own size. From everything that she’d witnessed there wasn’t really any way for her to overcome this one if she should decide to fight her. The only chance she’d have would be for one of the little lizards to land a killing blow right from the start yet she knew what they could do. She had more options at her disposal and despite feeling a bit better from her snack Teresa wasn’t going to risk it at the moment.

Teresa would begin to walk off with the two flying lizards still under her command, each one now sitting on an opposite shoulder.
