“You have a body count Camila? That seems a little more….serious than what you were implying. If you don’t mind, could you tell me all the crimes you committed so I know what to expect? As for hair dye, you should be able to find it pretty easily. It's pretty common around here. And as for my captain, she does know all of your crimes right? I like Celes, but she is a captain now, with duties corresponding to her status. Are you absolutely sure you can trust her?”

Gently bumping Camila’s shoulder back, Wynne looked at her friend worriedly. This whole situation was turning a lot more serious than she had first assumed. It seemed Camila was a bit of a rebel. Technically more than that if she had actually killed someone. She had to have a reason for such a thing though, right? Normally hearing that your friend was actually a serious criminal would make someone a little nervous, but for Wynne all it did was make her heart beat faster. But in a good way. Ignoring the signals her body was giving her for the time being, Wynne turned back to Camila with a small blush. Her friend was quite dangerous. 

“From what you told me, this is most definitely illegal. No doubt about that anymore. But with you by my side I lose nothing and gain everything Camila. Did you forget that you’re my first and only friend? I’ve been here all my life, and my moments with you are the happiest ones I ever had. What does that say about the Soul Society? I have nothing connecting me to this place, and I doubt my family would even miss me if I left. I am a woman of my word. When I said I had your back, I meant it. No matter what the world throws at us, I’ll be at your side. For better or worse if you'll have me.”

Puffing out her relatively small chest in what she thought was an impressive manner, Wynne tried to look cool for her friend. She wasn’t sure how successful she was, but she was trying her best! Her body wasn't meant to look cool, so she was working with what she had! Sure she was weak and wouldn’t be able to do much in combat, but she’d still be able to do something! Facing Camilla’s gaze head on, Wynne attempted to show how serious she was through her eyes and by gazing deeply into Camilla's. She wouldn’t back out now! “I’ll hold you to that. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that, but if it does I have everything I need next to me. But since we’re thinking of worst case scenarios, what are the odds of us getting caught? If it's a high number, it might be better for me to pack some things just in case right? I know I can get some Kuchiki scrolls with our exclusive Kido on it, although that will burn all my bridges with my family when the deed is found out. Still, if we get revealed the bridges will be burned regardless.”

Scooting closer to Camila, Wynne let out a shaky breath. This whole thing was a lot more serious than she thought. Sure she knew she was aiding a criminal, but she had assumed if they got caught she’d only get a slap on the wrist. But with everything the two were discussing, she might actually get executed if they were caught. Yet...why was she feeling excited? Her body was slightly trembling, but in a good way. Was she really gonna throw everything she had from here away just to elope with another woman? Well, when she put it that way .... absolutely. Wynne was going to risk it all!

"I... yeah. When someone goes rogue and just leaves Seireitei, generally speaking there's a lot of people sent after you. The problem with that, is that it's effectively a kill-or-be-killed situation. While there's been my fair share of Captains and Vice Captains that have arrived to take me out, Celes included, that I haven't taken down in response, there's been an amount of unranked Shinigami that thought they could fare well. Well, attacking a paranoid girl doesn't exactly bode well to those that just take on a mission like that on a whim. While I'm certainly not proud of it... yeah, I've taken a fair few lives since I've left. After Captain Ludwig left, I haven't dealt with any real attacks against me, so that's good, but yeah. I haven't committed a lot, but murder is a pretty big charge." Camila let out a soft chuckle, hoping her friend didn't think too much of it. "I'm glad to hear that the needed supplies'll be easy to find, though; that makes this whole thing much easier on all of us. Regarding Celes though..." Camila paused, and took a deep breath.

Was she really able to trust Celes? Sure, she seemed like her friend, but what had that actually meant? Had she gone out of her way to actually show that any point? Sure, they had a few excursions in the Human World, but did that really stack up against the fact that Celes had tried to kill her? That alone convinced the girl. "No," she said, sure of herself, "you're absolutely right. I shouldn't be trusting her. I can't. Not only is there too much riding on this, but she's gone out of her way to make things more difficult for me in the past. Gods, I can't believe I've been that stupid." Cami threw her face into her hand in frustration. After a few short moments, she picked herself back up. "Well, the past is in the past. I know now that I need to be more careful with who I trust." Turning to Wynne, Cami giggled and followed in suit with a similar blush.

Hearing what Wynne had said next, Camila genuinely couldn't believe what she was hearing. To have someone back her with unconditional support, no matter the circumstances. To have someone she could rely on, and in turn be a crutch for her to rely on as well. In the last century since she'd entered the Rukon, the only other time that Camila had felt this glad was when she left Soul Society. And, even then? That held absolutely no comparison to what she was feeling now. As she spoke, and turned to Wynne now teary-eyed, she was glad to see the girl meet her gaze and maintained that same blush from before. As she continued to speak, Camila couldn't help but keep that smile going through it all. Once she was finished, and scooted a bit closer, Camila threw her arms around her almost immediately.

"Thank you, Wynne," she said, her words a bit shaky, doing everything she could to avoid an emotional breakdown at the moment, "I can't even begin to express how much that genuinely means to me. Really. I'm glad to have gotten the opportunity to meet you." After a few short moments, Camila sat back up and straightened herself out. Clearing her throat, she began to speak again. "Sorry about that. It's just... I'm really glad to have your support." Camila giggled again, smiling once more toward the girl. "Regarding this all, though, we've got a pretty good chance of getting caught. If I had to put a percentage to it, it's probably at or greater than fifty. There's far too many things that we just can't plan around, Celes now being the biggest hurdle of all. If so much as one person catches wind of what's going on, then the entire plan is in jeopardy. If you'd like to take that time to pack, I'm not going to stop you. There's no telling just what's going to happen, and as you've noticed I tend to prep for the worst." She laughed.

Celes was not to be trusted. Wynne didn’t have anything against her captain, but the two were betraying Soul Society. As a captain you couldn’t really ignore that, especially one that was supposed to protect it. Wynne herself was a protector, but of those close to her. She tried looking on the bright side of things, but not a week from the academy she had already seen bullying going on from Squad 11. Was Soul Society really a place that deserved her protection? No, she’d protect the ones closest to her instead. And at this moment, it was only Camila. But one day it would be even more. Hopefully.

“You say you fought off shinigami, Vice Captains and Captains included. Camila, just how strong are you? And don’t beat yourself up, Celes seemed nice from what I’ve seen of her. We just have different interests and goals. Goals that will make us inevitably clash against each other.” Returning Camila’s hug, Wynne gripped her friend tightly. No one had been there for them in the past, but they had each other now. Through thick or thin. While their past was horrible, they could make up for it with a better future. Assuming they got out of here alive.

“Anytime Camila. I’m glad to have met you too. Who would have thought today would end up like this eh?” Letting out a chuckle, Wynne patted her friend on the arm. This meeting was a one in a million chance, especially how it ended up turning out. But that was usually how the strongest bonds were forged. Be it through luck or fate. It might’ve even been destined to happen. “Greater than fifty? That's…. way higher than I thought it would be. I’ll definitely pack then and even if everything works out, I can hide everything away in case I need a quick get away.”

She had only just graduated a week ago from the academy and here she was about to leave Soul Society for what seemed to be forever if things went wrong. She wasn’t sure how to feel about it, but she was sure she wouldn’t regret it. She wasn’t happy where she was, and she knew things needed to change. Of course she didn’t know they’d change this much, but it was what it was. Her life was changing, and she would only know if it was worth it in the end. Still, if she did get executed, at least she’d die by the side of a friend. She could think of no better death.

“Okay, I guess we should start moving then. I’ll pack up and leave through the Senkaimon, while you leave through the Dangai. Where are we meeting up in the realm of the living? And we should make a signal in case things go wrong. I’m pretty sure I can bluff my way out of problems on my end, so in this case it's more for you. We have one shot, and we need to make the most of it.” Giving Camila another tight hug, Wynne felt her heart race even more. The time for change was approaching. One way or another, by tomorrow her life will have completely changed. Was she ready for such a thing? No. But would she still go through with it? Yes.
