Time reference for video: 11:25 - 12:20
This namely gives you a good idea of the entire courtyard area. However, the boss is not present in this video due to the individual having already killed them in thier game. Vanguard however is near the opening in the ground the gent walks out of, maybe 5-10 feet away from it in the main courtyard.
Vanguards eyes were scouring the realm knowing that whatever was causing all the sounds of destruction was nearby. Being a demon low ranking and honestly more akin to shock troops than a genuine threat, by comparison to its kin, it only had one thought on its mind. To kill whatever decided it was coming to this shrine. It held no special care or concern for this place nor its inhabitants. But it was under the authority of the being that ruled here and was one of a select few demons present thus even if the war was over, it was still under the highest rankings thumb. And the order it had given was to kill. Kill until whatever it is that dares encroach was utterly obliterated with the obvious threat of consumption if it failed to do the task and it still lived. Standard procedure at this point.
It took a few moments before it finally noticed Ailene as she walked out, sword in hand. If it could, it'd have laughed given how tiny and utterly weak she was. She looked no stronger than an ordinary human, something it'd long since slaughtered by itself in droves. However, what changed was that she did something and transformed. What came out was something entirely frightening. A dragon, small by comparison to those it'd seen long in its past but nevertheless accurate. Still, this was merely a child, a babe, by comparison. Surely it couldn't actually stand up to it. And it'd been able to take on the whelps of dragon's prior this should have been nothing new to it. With its axe in hand, it gripped it tighter and threw it in the air above itself. It'd chop off this whelp fucking head with the shockwave it'd produce.
And produce it did. The shockwave was equal to its size and being as fast as a cero would easily travel to the distance to Ailenne in only a few short moments. . . Had it not been stopped that is. Ailenne's Gran Rey Cero was not something it'd expected. Flames sure. Lightning, rare but possible. This blast of reiatsu? Utterly unnatural and that was coming from something that could be considered unnatural at its best day. The mother of a shockwave it'd let loose clashed for a few moments attempting to survive or otherwise overpower the shockwave, but it wouldn't matter the Cero simply drilled through it dissipating the remainder with its sheer force of power. Vanguard in the meantime simply became engulfed by the sheer blast and crackling lightning orb of death. It roared out in pain for about half a minute.
The blast itself would engulf it's entire being and even push away the clouds of the storm some, both calming and disrupting the current weather drastically. To make matters worse it was bright as hell lighting up the island for a moment. However, for as potent as it was, the attack and its devestation was short lived and small in radius surprisingly. Out of the blast emerged a pissed off Vanguard and though it wasn't without harm. It's swaying stomach from prior was reduced significantly and it's placed a crater that constantly bleed out, its arms were singed and burnt with seccond degree burns on the upper arms and third degree burns on the lower arms and hands. The head was singed, and its legs were singed with a few mild burn marks, but the chest absolutely took the majority of the blast.
And yet it was standing. Anger incarnate it did the only thing an injured beast could do swing around madly. The only issue being that this beast had the strength of a monster to back it up and thus was launching 20-foot shockwaves that were 10 feet wide one after another in all directions. One directly at Ailenne, then one on her left but diagonal, then another on her right but horizontal. Once this initial flurry was let loose it'd immediately begin running towards her with a massive roar which was honestly kind of funny considering its stumpy legs. Regardless with both hands on the axe's handle it meant business and had no intention of fucking around attempting to cut Ailenne in two or at an absolute minimum take out a limb. To make matters worse once it was within range this swing would also bring forth yet another shockwave at nearly point blank to Ailenne as if the swing alone wasn't enough.
As far as the storm was concerned the sky was currently being pushed back some, the intense attacks of the beasts currently fighting making it difficult for the storm to stay in place. Thus, the previously darkened clouds gradually and then dramatically became light grey. The rain and lightning never fully leaving but definitively lessened. Hell, the lighting wasn't even striking anymore, and the beasts Ailenne might have seen flying by were being pushed around by all the air currents unable to get anywhere near. The shrine itself and all the debrief was also getting thrown around in this storm. Trees uprooted, stones destroyed to dust or otherwise thrown into the walls. And that was nothing to say about the walls themselves being damaged by the cero and the shockwaves. Cracks and deep grooves were already forming. The area was still standing but for how long would depend on how this fight went.

Storm is now a light rain and winds. Namely due to the heavy storm being scattered and blown away.
