Camilla's next couple responses were much more human. Enough so that Freke ended up releasing a breath he didn't realize he was holding in. Still it comforted him some even if it also concerned him that her aura grew noticeably darker at the mention of the golden monster. Surely she wouldn't be trying to kill him would she? He was a sage, and a damn powerful one at that and had failed. Miserably. How would she even be able to stand up to him? He'd shake his head to clear himself of those thoughts, it mattered not what she did. Only that she freed him and that he helped her in return.
Taking another deep breath he yelled over the answer to her question as she began to walk off. "He is a magician of immense power! Most notably power over souls! Especially those which are darker in nature, whose minds are warped by paranoia, and those who are mad or beginning to be mad! Like the late queen however he knows many different kinds of magic as he was once from here! I cannot tell you how many or what branches he may know but its safe to assume he knows a few spells from every branch known currently!"
Freke paled a bit once he realized she was long gone. He hoped she managed to hear everything. As well that she also would rethink her decision to face him in combat. He'd evolved into a demon fully by the current time and when he'd fought him last was mid transformation. For her sake Freke needed to convince her to escape rather than fight him. There was no concievable way she could beat him, not that he knew of anyway. But for now he'd have to wait until she found him. . . if she found him. For his sake, he hoped she would.
As for Camilla, with nothing stopping her she'd easily make it to the gate near her old cell. And once there would open it with a surprising amount of ease once it was unlocked. Which was impressive considering it looked partial rusted and worn. Magic was likely the only answer to how it worked, if she cared to think that far into it. Regardless she'd find herself walking down a short hallway and up a couple stairs to the next floor above her last one. Nothing was in the hallway aside from a few ominous pots leaking out green gas and several coffins that lined the walls. All things she'd seen prior and had at one point or another wondered if she'd be the next one inside any given coffin she'd seen. Thankfully that answer for the moment was "No.".
Upon reaching the second level's entrance it was very nearly the same as what was the prior level. Rusted and bent metal "railings" on her right side to prevent, or attempt to anyway, from having anyone fall off into the abyss below. On her left were several cells however this level had larger cells that housed at least 10 different individuals in each cell. She'd be able to tell this if she listened to their groans. And loe and behold there was a single "prisoner" walking around before her. The man was bald, in rags, and currently speaking in some foriegn language that she'd never heard until now. Though given the way he was praising the sky above it was likely he was speaking to the "queen" that kept being mentioned to her. Needless to say the man didn't notice Camilla.
And if Camilla looked past him and all the way down to the end of the passageway and towards the open rectangular space she'd see a faint glow. The same glow present with the jailors and their godforsaken bells. It hadn't noticed her yet from how it was simply walking and roving around. Hell it hadn't even noticed the man in question. AS far as Cami was concerned though she wouldn't see it as much as she would see the glow and how slowly it was moving. The jailor was simply too far away and it was too dark in general.
