What’s About to Happen?

Akando looked up after finishing his meal just in time to see the other Hollow kill and eat the last remaining swordsmen. Being that he expected the Hollow to have enough power to fight him, Akando opted not to fight her for whatever remained of the swordsmen. Once the other Hollow finished her meal, she would look over at Akando a nd say that should be all of them, of course Akando wouldn't understand the actual words, however, he would understand the feeling that the other Hollow gave off while saying it.



With one last cleaning with his tongue, Akando would get up fully and start walking away. There was no point in working with this Hollow any longer and honestly Akando wasn't the work as a team type. Sure he had the ability to work with others, but that doesn't mean he prefers to do such a thing, after all he only truly respects those who prove themselves to be powerful and this Hollow hasn't quite proven that. Teresa in Akando's eyes has only proven herself to be strong enough to survive, not rule, and the only reason he doesn't turn on her right now is simply because some part of himself still understands the honor of not attacking someone who helped you, at least not right after they just helped him.



Now Akando just wanted to find a way back to the desert he left a few days ago. Knowing this would be hard as the only way back is through whatever passage that giant Hollow made, at least that's the only way he knows of. Walking in the opposite direction of that other Hollow, he slips back into the Shadows, in fact he seems to vanish almost altogether to any without sufficient enough senses. Using the shadows Akando disappears into the night, after all, this was the opportune time to keep hunting even while searching for a way back.

Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):



The shadows become friends to some and enemies to others but those with an unusual bond with the shadows gain special benefits from it. Wendigo like many other creatures classified as Cryptids tend to prefer the company of shadows or the blanket of night, they are not afraid of being in the light however and have no repercussions from it. The biggest difference however is that only a few of said Cryptids gain the ability to manipulate the shadows and Wendigo is one of them.



Controlling the shadows allow him to cause them to cover him, thus allowing him to blend in nearly perfectly into the surroundings. Those with less than 150 Senses or ES won’t be able to notice him. For each rank in the stealth skill the Senses or ES required to notice him raises by 50 up to a maximum of 350 (4 ranks in Stealth).



How to use technique (How is it activated?): Channeling reiatsu into any shadow Akando is currently touching (including his own) the shadow will begin to surround him and shroud him.



Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc)



This Technique costs 50 Reiatsu to use but that is not the only downside, for each rank in Anti-Stealth the Senses and ES required to notice Akando is 50 less (Maximum 200 less Senses or ES required at rank 4). He must uncloak in order to attack.

This evening had fallen apart like so many other things that Teresa had experienced since she had first been freed from the prison that had been the Hollow who’d devoured her soul. Since she had been freed from those who had conquered what she had once been, most individuals that she had come across, especially other Hollows, didn't play well. Of course there had been exceptions just like this one seemed to be. The one like a lizard who had come from the desert to the human world with her. A couple of others had been content to simply hunt together like the large scorpion.

This one seemed less stable than either of the others though and for that reason she had been expecting him to turn on her the moment that all other visible sources of food were gone. So when they had both finished devouring the prey that had sought to eliminate them, she was quite surprised to find them unprepared. The night was dark now, dark enough that she knew without the strange lights that humans had managed to craft throughout the city, only she would be able to see although even that was pushing it. She knew that when she had been alive she wouldn’t have been able to see even her hand in front of her face right now.

Stranger still was the fact that this other Hollow didn’t speak much yet fought like one of the ones that could conjure up strategy. She had been expecting some sort of conversation to form between them like most of the others yet almost right away once the adversaries had been dealt with they slipped into the shadows of intense darkness that the buildings offered. Teresa though caught off guard by the actions wasn’t looking for friends nor allies and thus had no real reason to pursue. This simply meant that she had gotten some tasteful flesh which would hold her over for the night at the very least. This another hunt on Karakura had been accomplished.
