This was really starting to just get repetitive while all satisfaction that she could gain from it diminished. Teresa of course was thinking over the tactic that she had been employing over the last few weeks. She had come to the human world a little bit ago and since then been trapped here. Unable to open a portal or rio a hole through reality, whichever was actually correct Teresa didn’t care. All she knew was that she hadn’t yet achieved the power that was necessary. Thus she was forced to not just stay here in the human world, but to hide as well.
She had faced off against a few of the individuals clad in black since coming to the human world. They hunted together, never taking on a Hollow unless they had the advantage of numbers. There was only one exception to that so far, that woman though had been different. Teresa could still remember the image of that woman channeling her fury and attacking her outright so fast that evasion was impossible. Even now after more than a week and a few small meals Teresa knew that if she were to be found by that woman again, she’d be in no better a situation.
She had to improve more, had to eat more. She wasn’t going to allow herself to evolve slow like virtually all Hollows. They sought each other in the endless desert managing to only feast on one another’s disgusting flesh. Growing away from the threat of the many enemies. Teresa knew her own limitations though. She couldn’t do what they did and because of that she was going to evolve faster than any other Hollow ever had. She risked opposing many more enemies if it meant she could achieve that which her former had failed to acquire.
Getting out from where she had been hiding was a pleasant sensation, it wasn’t something she could do always, but the few times she had were like a blessing from whichever dirty truly reined in the sky. Her nose was under constant assault while she stayed hidden in the depths of the sewer system. This wasn’t the sort of environment that a ruler would find themselves in. Teresa sought that position, no longer a helpless frail little village girl that didn’t possess any sort of skill or power. She was now a Hollow. She had to embrace that and transform herself into someone that all would fear in order to eventually rule over them all.
Currently standing at the top of a roof near the edge looking down at the dark roads and numerous transportation buggies. Teresa wasn’t just a different race now, but also essentially a time traveler. Sure she hadn’t actually jumped from one point in time to another, but her life had been so long ago that now the human world looked completely different. She hadn’t been trapped in the desert for so long, but rather inside the soul of another. She had been a prisoner for longer than she had ever known and now everything around her just was alien.
