The female Espada arrived in a desolate area in the Human World. It was a ghost town with no one to be seen around. There were still burning buildings and everything was torn apart. It would seem an army had ran through the city and took everything for themselves, at the same time destroying it. She had entered this tournament to win, and she had no intentions of losing. The last battle with the Quinta Espada was not how she wanted it to end. But Adalo should've known that a normal Cero wouldn't be strong enough to kill a Vasto Lorde. Yuki Ayumu wanted her revenge, but it wasn't reckless. She didn't take it personally when she was defeated, Ayumu simply didn't want to fall out of the tournament so quickly.
Ayumu unsheathed her Zanpakutou and swung it in front of her. She waited for Adalo again, this time she had no intentions of holding back this time. The female Espada stood there waiting for her opponent to arrive. She knew that he would be here very soon. Ayumu didn't know why she didn't just go home after Round 1, since she didn't even want to be in it from the beginning. Maybe it was because she felt she couldn't return back to Las Noches with having the Quinta Espada beat her. She stared silently in front of her as she waited.

Though everything burned, Adalo was not disturbed. He loved when things were burning, and he loved when things were destroyed. He was just a random person walking through a deserted ghost town by appearance. But, the mask remnant that he had said otherwise, and the number that he had also said otherwise. Adalo was a Vasto Lorde, and more than this, he was an Espada. Quinta Espada. The reason that he had not scored a higher rank was because he had held back when he'd been gauged. He hadn't wanted the restriction of being unable to release under the dome of Las Noches. Plus, being underestimated suited Adalo just fine. He could crush anyone that he wanted to.
He had been strong enough to crush the Tercia Espada in their last fight, though Adalo's powers seemed to hit their limit there. He was unsuccessful as of yet in taking down the Segunda Espada, which meant that Adalo wasn't yet strong enough. Even though he wasn't, the fact that he'd been strong enough to defeat the person two ranks above him meant that he was fully capable of being a part of the higher class of Espada. His reasons for not being there were his own.
Adalo got to the meeting place, where he saw Ayumu already waiting for him. Adalo had realized numerous things when he'd last fought Ayumu. First, she only had average reflexes and senses. This meant that she'd have a hard time with him if he used Sonido the right way. She was slower than him, but it was minor. She was fast enough to keep up. But, if Adalo used his minor speed advantage correctly, she'd be unable to fend him off. Second, the strength in her reiatsu was weaker than his. It wasn't a large gap, but it was significant enough that her sword left less damage on his hierro than it was supposed to. She would have a hard time cutting him deeply. Her energy sensory was only average too, but if she had pesquisa then that didn't matter. Adalo had his advantages though, and he would use them. "Tercia." he said. "COME BACK FOR MORE?"
