Celes was certainly excited to see Wycliff when he arrived. She had been looking for a Kido instructor in the past. Now he was the Captain of Squad 5. The Kido Development Squad. Truly she had learned from a master of the craft. That being said, it was no secret about her peers that Celes was not a practitioner of Kido. She had forsaken it long ago in favor of martial prowess. For what she lacked in Kido, Celes made up for it in physical ability. Her physical strength, weapon usage, even her speed had all been refined past what most Shinigami were capable of. Despite that she could not deny the appeal of Kido. Not only for its offensive and defensive capabilities. No, it was the pure utility that it provided.
The Vice Captain certainly let out a nervous chuckle upon Wycliff asking about her kido training as they walked to the car. Her nervous laughter gave it away in an instant, but she would honor him with an answer regardless as they walked. "Actually Wycliff, I...well. I have forsaken the idea of practicing Kido. I found that I excel far more in martial prowess and physical capability." She smiled to try and make the sting of his failed efforts lesser. She would continue. "But in return for it, you will find few who match my understanding of weapon variety, physical prowess and speed. Though in return, I had to give up all form of Kido for that martial prowess. I hope you can understand." She chuckled quietly as they finally made their way into the car.
As the Shinigami slid in with her fellow Officer and Captain, Celes found herself nestled in the middle. She chuckled lightly. Before them was a computer whose screen displayed a video that seemed to be on a loop. Focusing on it, she smirked. The culprit in the footage seemed to possess catlike alacrity. As he landed and moved towards the wall, Celes watched in awe as he suddenly blew a massive hole in the wall. This awe soon translated into pure excitement. Assuming her fellow Shinigami were watching, they would suddenly feel Celes move. Her hand came crashing against her palm with excitement. Despite only using a fraction of her strength, it was was far more forceful than what other Shinigami were capable of.
With excitement she exclaimed. "I don't care who he is, but I love his style! Clearly a physically dominant fighter. A man after my own heart. I hope we get to meet him and see what he is capable of. I can't wait!" Her voice filled with car with utter joy. Given her peers, Celes had the misfortune of meeting few who could rival her martial ability. To come to blows with someone who could possibly match or even exceed her own limits was like ecstasy. The proud warrior loved combat from within her very being. To find someone who harnessed similar characteristics was simply too good to pass up. She had to fight him. To see how she would fare against him.
As they reached the bank and were being prepared to be led through it, Celes was filled with so much energy that she almost leapt from the car. She knew etiquette, however. A warrior of her stature should. She followed their guide slowly as he began to show them the capability of this culprit in person. The wall leading into the bank was massive. The physical force needed to get into the vault was equally impressive. She would turn to her fellow Shinigami. "Certainly impressive. Who do you think we are dealing with here? Simply a spiritually aware human with impressive physical capabilities?" The Vice Captain inspected the hole. The wall itself. All of it. She turned to them and chuckled. "I've to admit. I think while I could punch a hole through this wall, I'm not sure how easy it would be for myself. If he had ease with this, I certainly recommend not to be hit by any physical strike." She chuckled as she wanted to get her comrades insights. After any words between them, Celes would follow back to the car to be led to the graffiti.
