Continuing to walk down the street William keeps his eyes peeled for any sort of sign above the doorways that lined the street. This is the easiest way to figure out what sort of shops he was passing by, especially when there was a crowd of people at the moment. He could tell that this Shinigami really really wasn’t someone that could deal with a large group of other individuals which just furthered his own disbelief. As an officer of the law in the human world William co up lent fathom how a Shinigami was having a hard time with this. That is until he had to keep reminding himself that Shitoke is similar to a scene investigator. Never in the front lines or dealing with the public, once he did that the reaction that Shitoke was having around this amount of people made more sense.
“Just keep up and everything will be fine. Even if they can see you, most humans even in an area like this won’t start problems.”
They’d continue to walk for another minute or so until William finally stopped walking and turned around to face Shitoke. Raising his left arm he points to the side. “Right over here.” Starting to move through the crowd like a stick through a stream, William leads the Shinigami right to the video store. He wasn’t going to tell Shitoke that this was already the fourth such store they’d come across yet the only one that didn’t likely have the sort of genre that he was obviously against. Either way they were here now which meant William would be able to get back to his jog soon. Although checking to see if there was something around wasn’t a bad idea either.
The relief that washed over Shitoke was immense as they finally came upon the movie shop. And thankfully it looked normal, not like the wierd ones he'd seen earlier. He glanced over at William, smiling and bowed a bit for him. "Thank you for helping me find one. This city is massive and where ever we are only showing that off all the more. I'll have to come back, hopefully during the day, and just walk around. Maybe it'll be a bit easier to handle then. Anyway I'll head on in, picking movies won't be that hard given I've an idea what the squad likes to see. Hell someone mentioned they wanted horror so I'm certain I'll find something to scare them senseless."
Shitoke was about to start walking in before he realized he almost forgot one thing. With a quick turn around and a quick breath he spoke quickly so he could go look for the movie. "Uhh. . . so before I forget if you ever need help with something. Namely researching something or really whatever, let me know. I'll likely be sent here again for other things. Probably another movie or boba tea perhaps. You wouldn't believe how many certain members of the squad are fans of it. But anyway if you see me around again, feel free to call me out. I'd prefer to have friends around especially in such clustered and crazy places like this." With another quick bow Shitoke immediately sped into the store.
Once in it was perfect. The walls were lined with video tapes, dvd's, and hell even a few collectors sets. There were even a few tables standing with boxes and boxes of different kinds of movies around. And he even spied in the corner the film reels used in much older movies. Shitoke smiled widely to himself and immediately ran up to the clerk, a small older asian woman with thick glasses who was smoking a cigarette. She raised an eyebrow at him as he walked up. "Excuse me ma'am but where are the horror movies?"
The woman immediately pointed upstairs and mentioned what wall and tables up there had all the horror movies. Shitoke immediately nodded and raced up the stairs to start his search. He was already running later than he'd wanted to, given it took so long to find the place. AND he'd been freaking out and having to try and calm himself down several times. But now? Now he was in his comfort zone. He just had to take his time, relax, and pick out the movie that looked the scariest. And if he could find some wierd body horror movie he knew the squad would get a kick out of it.
