Kuro rolled his head around, cracking his neck while rolling his shoulders. He then began hopping a bit, getting into the pace of a fight while locking eyes with William, his stare becoming sharp even though his eyes held the same dull blue color. Kuro was six feet tall, putting him at possibly a slight disadvantage against a person having two inches on him. But he also knew that he had a few tricks up his sleeve that would help him. He took a sudden step with his left foot over his right, initiating a quick movement to show William that it was time to begin. Whether William understood this or not was up to him to decide. That wasn't Kuro's problem.
Kuro's next move was to rush in, pulling his left hand back. This was a pronounced movement, telegraphing it easily to his opponent to show that the first attack would come from the left. Kuro had also made that first initiating step with his left to grab William's attention towards his left side. The pulling back of his arm was also not at Kuro's full possible speed. That was because Kuro wanted William to have every opportunity to watch the snake's tail, the metaphorical rattle grabbing his attention. This was also to hide Kuro's right leg's movements. With the final step towards William, Kuro ended on his left foot on the ground, planted hard. While he did this he kicked straight upwards with his right, going for a slight crescent upwards, going passed William's head at Kuro's full speed with this movement. When he had finished reaching the top with his right foot, Kuro looked William in the eyes with confidence and brought the heel of his foot downwards, having only been in this pose for a moment.
The heel was aimed to strike William in the forehead if he did not move, smashing into his face while coming down. This could possibly result in a broken nose if William did not know what he was doing and failed to turn his head to the left or right as the kick came down. Additionally, if William moved left or right to avoid the left arm's punch that had been telegraphed he would possibly catch a shoulder injury from the heel of Kuro's axe kick coming down on them. Kuro was not playing around at the moment. He wanted William to know that sparring and training were serious to Kuro. That was due to the fact that life and death are important to Kuro, and should be to William.
