Camila sighed, walking through the steets of a small city, taking in the surrounding air. There was a slight twang of fresh blood in the air; a scent Camila began to grow fairly accustomed to. She smiled, glancing from side to side. She was looking for a specific group of people; Quincy. She felt like she needed to carve through them all after everything that had happened in the past. She truly did hate them. Even after her interactions with Celes, she still had an unbridled hatred for these damned archers.
Watching the area, and keeping an eye on the people to pass by, she did what she could to both listen for these archers as well as any potential hollows. Upon hearing a wail from one of these beasts, Camila immediately rushed over to the noises she had heard. There, she saw something she truly didn't expect; the hollow was an Adjuchas. She could easily tell from the form of the beast being incredibly animalistic in nature. The beast appeared to be similar to that of a lion.
Not only that, but the shinigami seemed to hit the jackpot; Quincy were there, and all seemed to be fighting off this hollow. Upon watching the group in conflict, she was... troubled. She wasn't sure what she wanted to do. Part of her wanted to purify the hollow, as was her own duty, but at the same time, she knew full well what could've happened to him should she ally with the Quincy. It likely wasn't the hollow's choice to have been a hollow. To have them wiped out of the Soul Cycle just like that for being who they were; she wasn't going to have it.
Almost immediately, she held her blade to the sky, and shouted at the top of her lungs; "Make them Bleed, Buveur de Sang!" With that, a rush of pure red reiatsu waved over her, and caused some fairly noticeable changes to her. Her blade had changed significantly, turning a shade of red and taking on a much more gruesome appearance, and her robes were tinted with a faint red. She smirked. This was still one of her first times using Shikai, and she felt comfortable with her powers.
Almost immediately, she rushed toward the Quincy, carving them all down mercilessly, and leaving absolutely massive slashes along their chests. Almost immediately, they were all quickly carved down, and her reiatsu had began to pour from their wounds, directing into her like blood in water. She felt powerful for once. She felt like she could actually manage to take on the world, and smiled. She turned to the hollow. "You should be alright, now."
"My thanks, Shinigami," The beast said with a deep voice, "I hadn't expected assistance from the likes of you. Perhaps you're not all that bad." The hollow let out a small laugh, and stood up straight. "You're free to go from here. After that, I need not purify you. You're welcome to continue on as a hollow, if you'd please." The beast once again laughed. "Hah! That's very unlike you, Shinigami. I thought all of you were supposed to be dutybound protectors of the afterlife. What ever happened to that?" "I saw my family stripped of the chance to witness their portion of the afterlife. Even though it's through a different path, you much deserve the chance to see what your side of life has to offer."
