Thread Title: Tournament of Might: Assassin vs Traitor Participants: Kisala vs Douma World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: R Location: Each participant has been summoned to a construction site. In the site there are large piles of rock like minerals scattered throughout the site. The main attraction of the site is the skeleton of a tower being built. Only the metal frames of the tower are connected and in place. The tower is approximately 1500 feet squared and reached up to five floors. The beams are connected vertically and horizontally to one another enabling movement for those capable of balance and acrobatics. Other than the piles of minerals and the tower nothing else is inside of the site. The area outside the tower that can be moved to is only 20 feet in distance.
Kisala has been summoned on a metal beam that is stationed horizontally on the third floor.
Douma has been summoned outside of the tower next to one of the large mineral piles. Special Conditions: No gravitational Pressure, No exiting 20 outside of the tower as there is a barrier set up that will push back anything that makes contact with it by a force of 300. Barrier can't be broken! Circumstances: You've both been summoned fight to claim victory and progress onward in the tournament of Might!
The man in black stood atop a pile of rubble, dwarfed by the skeleton of an incomplete tower just a few dozen feet away. His eyes looked through the emerald green lenses of his mask, scanning the surrounding area. He made note of other mineral piles as well as the structural integrity of the building. Douma relied heavily on his strategic and analytic capabilities. To him, information was power, and few desired power more than he did. He sacrificed his body for it. His humanity for it. His life for it. Yet he desired more.
An obvious pulse of reiatsu emanated from the construction site, within the building itself. There was no suppressing it, and from it, Douma learned quite a bit about the unfortunate soul that would face him in battle. It was a Shinigami, one with its zanpakuto automatically released. A perma release...[/i] he thought, reflecting on a time when he too was incapable of controlling immense power. A powerful spirit, but an unrefined one as well. It appeared that the soul was a Shinigami as well. However, it lacked a profound presence that most Captains possessed. Perhaps this was a Vice Captain.
Douma might be confident in his own power against a Lieutenant, but he was not foolish enough to underestimate his opponent right off the bat. He would engage as though he were battling an equal. He’d allow her to make the first move. As a signal, Douma activated the crimson cross hanging from his left wrist. A blood red energy emanated from his body, surrounding him in a demonic aura tainted with the Spirit of Revenge. This was more than an intimidation tactic. It was a message.
In its non-released state, Kagami’s artificial Zanpakuto takes a slightly unorthodox appearance compared to the traditional Japanese katana. No, his blade is far superior. It may lack a Zanpakuto spirit like the true Zanpakuto all Shinigami are equipped with have. However, the black market in the Rukongai has its share of excellent smith’s that forged the deadly black beauty. Black is the best word to describe the weapon. Black color, black aura, a black weapon. It was the embodiment of Kagami’s dark side.
Now, let us begin by examining the hilt. It is approximately six inches long and three inches wide. The hilt is fairly plain and has a symmetrical pattern on each of the flat sides composed of small grooves and dips into the blade. It is made of a dull black metal with little luster. In fact, it reflects very little light. In fact, the particular shade of black on the hilt would belong more to a black wall than it would the pure darkness of true black.
However, the blade of the sword embodies that darkness. It draws nearly light into itself, letting none meet the eyes of the viewer. However, one part of the three and a half foot long sword does in fact reflect light from it, and that part is the most dangerous. Along the razor sharp edge of the sword, the black metal transitions into silver with an unplaceable gradient border between the two shades. This silver metal is polished and shines like a mirror, so one would be able to see the horror in his or her eyes through it before the blade removes the light of life from those eyes.
The slight curve of the single-edged blade leads into a honed, focused tip capable of drawing blood as it bypasses the pain receptors of the opponent. That is how sharp the weapon is. It’s keen edge makes cuts that the opponent won’t feel until blood rushes out of the openings and pushes past the pain receptors. The weapon may be seen as a kind blade, for the opponent won’t even feel their death as it slices through his or her body.
Now, the released form of the weapon is completely different. The transition doesn’t occur in a flash of light, but rather, the opposite. All Kagami has to do is speak the words “Observe in darkness, Kagebokkusu.” The blade draws in all light. It acts like a black whole, sucking up all visibility. For a second, the place of the sword is replaced with an empty, dark slot. It was like a black whole. Nothing would be there but the silhouette of a transforming blade.
When the darkness faded, there wasn’t much light to replace it. In fact, there was little light at all. The only really visible part was the handle. It is partly composed of a metallic black very similar to that of the blade in the sword’s non-release state. The majority of the light, however, is revealed from the silver metallic pieces of the hilt that compose part of the grip. The hilt has a light curve that allows it to fit easily into Kagami’s hand. There is no guard separating it from the blade.
Now, this sword for this weapon is something special. It is nothing like any other Zanpakuto, artificial or legitimate. The blade is long, slim, and straight. It is razor sharp, sharper than in the unreleased form. A cut from this sword is always clean. However, that is not the magnificent part of the blade. The material it is composed of seems to embody a black hole. It absorbs absolutely all light, not letting any out. The only portion of the three and a half foot long blade that can be seen is its outline, and it’s black shade is so void of everything that it is clearly identifiable, like any other blade. However, it is not quiet like any other. It harnesses the darkness of Kagami soul in its appearance.
The last part of this weapon’s appearance has to do with its power. It summons a black box, and the characteristics of this box and the effects it has are to be described in the next section. This box is a small cube with a side length of about one foot. The box is made of the same material as the blade of the released sword, so only the completely empty silhouette makes it clearly visible.
Kagebokkusu has a power I call "shadow box." What does this do? It creates a black cube of reiatsu next to its user, Kagami in this case, which floats five feet away from him at all times, and moves next to him. What does it do? It records him. For up to five moves, 100 reiatsu per move recorded. It's costly. Very very costly. But it's surely worth it, because every single movement that Kagami makes has the capacity to be recorded. He doesn't need to fill up all five to make this work, of course, but five is still a good number to have. So what happens when it records? He can make it "play." How? Contact with the box. The box itself can be fired at half his step speed, or he can just touch it. A target hit by the box INSTANTLY ceases all actions, and is forced to repeat the actions recorded by the box, all of them, in sequence... at Kagami's step speed. Brilliant, right? Pretty brilliant if you ask me. And that's the box's only power. It cannot be resisted by any skills. It can be broken only by superior offensive stat (2x requirement) AND class equality or superiority. (BOTH needed to break it.) Also, if the time needed to record exceeds your duration, worry not. Records carry over to refreshed releases.
The box's ability may only be used once during release. After he shoots it out, whether it strikes the opponent or not, the release ends. In addition, if the box is struck, it is broken and the release ends. When the release ends, the saved moves are deleted.
Item Name: Blood Cross
Item Type: Wristband
Item Description:
The item is called the "Blood Cross." In appearance, it's a deep red wristband with a cross dangling from it. You'd say it looks identical to a red version of a Quincy's Cross. It's deep red because in appearance, it looks like it's made of fine, smoothed ruby. Actually, the item itself is made of an unidentified spiritual stone. What does it do? When its user becomes extremely angry, the cross resonates with a deep red reiatsu, and produces an extremely intimidating, hideous aura as long as the cross is being worn. This can be used to intimidate enemies of same or inferior class several times more effectively than typical spiritual pressure. What Kagami doesn't know is this hideous aura is very similar to Adalo De-Mona's, because what he also doesn't know is that the cross works not just on his anger, but by drawing from the inner darkness left behind in Kagami's soul by Adalo, and uses that reiatsu instead of Kagami's to produce the aura. The stronger the inner darkness left by Adalo De-Mona becomes, the stronger the cross's aura will become. It can only be resisted by someone who has either or both a 3 in Lack of Fear.
Price: Kagami acquires this from Arc 3 Preview: Not Knowledge, Merely Data
Storage Scroll
Item Name: (Helm of The Silent)
Item Type:: (Armor)
Item Rank: (A)
Item Description:
What appears as an exact duplicate of Douma's mask is fundamentally different. Douma's mask is just that. A mask. This is armor, and it serves other purposes as well. Firstly, it fuses directly into his spiritual power, making it heavily resistant if not outright immune to non spiritually integrated objects. This means that unless an object has been stated to possess spiritual effects, any random store-bought weapon or similar is ineffective with the exception of plasma weapons. All extensions of an enemy's non-release techniques and release weapons/powers can still damage this mask. It is merely resistant to ordinary things, including collapsing buildings and rubble as well as heat or cold from weather. The mask also provides night and thermal vision which Douma can switch between with a mental command, and provides temperature regulation against natural weather. It also provides regular oxygen, meaning it filters out toxic gases and allows the user to breathe underwater or in conditions without oxygen.
Unlike the original that the design was based off of, the eye holes are covered by green lenses. Furthermore, the mask is more of a helmet, as it actually wraps around Douma's entire head. The drawback to this item is that it is so powerful due to being imbued with sorcery. The sorcery can only be effective by grace of needles within the actual helmet. These needles stab into dozens of places around Douma's face, making it very uncomfortable. It is also pumping constant chemicals into Douma's bloodstream and brain, these chemicals being inert in that they are neither harmful nor beneficial on their own, but that they are extremely painful to have driven into one's blood like that. Removal of the helmet is extremely painful, as is putting it back on.
Item Name: (Heart of The Silent)
Item Type:: (Armor)
Item Rank: (A)
Item Description:
The centerpiece of Douma's upgrades. His literal heart has been replaced by this artificial, machine-like heart. The machine is twice as efficient as a regular heart, and three times as durable, but it pumps identical chemicals to the ones from the helm into Douma's body. Despite the pain, this heart is useful because it takes the sensation of pain and alters it for the body. The message sent to the mind is still pain, but added onto it is the effect of controlled rage and aggression, as well as willpower. This heart, in other words, changes pain to also incorporate increased will. The more pain and damage suffered by Douma as a result, the greater his desire to win and destroy his opponent, and the stronger his conviction. This also reduces bleeding, making it significantly more difficult for wounds to bleed Douma out. This is one of two pieces of armor Douma cannot remove from himself. He is thus always in pain.
Item Name: (Limbs of The Silent)
Item Type:: (Armor)
Item Rank: (A)
Item Description:
Douma's limbs have been granted armor. Black plating along the arms and legs. The plating wraps the entire limbs, and the plating is a light metal that allows Douma his proper movement. However, within it are needles that puncture into his body and pump even more chemicals of pain into him. While this drawback is tremendous given how much of his body by this point is simply drowned in constant pain, the limb additions ease stress on his own movement, meaning he spends significantly less stamina with movement than one normally would. In conjunction with the heart, this makes Douma seem to possess up to three times his normal stamina. The limbs are also resistant in all of the same ways as his helmet. Should they sustain damage, the rate at which they pump chemicals into Douma doubles, making his conviction to kill even stronger. Because of the chemical increase from these, Douma becomes significantly more resistant to damage. Even if he is severely burned inside the armor, or slashed and stabbed repeatedly, these limbs allow him to keep coming as if undamaged, even at the cost of his own health. This item makes him seem lighter, faster, more agile, all because of the ease of stamina consumption.
Item Name: (Chest Plate of The Silent)
Item Type:: (Armor)
Item Rank: (A)
Item Description:
This item possesses identical resistances to all other armor pieces. Like the others, it has needles that penetrate into Douma and pump chemicals into him. Unlike the others, it also comes with the effect of negating the effects of electrocution, making Douma highly resistant to electric attacks. By repelling electricity, it makes it so that facing Douma with any electric style attack is extremely difficult.
Item Name: (Liver of The Silent)
Item Type:: (Armor)
Item Rank: (A)
Item Description:
Identical features to previous armor pieces. This also filtrates toxins that would penetrate his body and damage him, making Douma highly resistant to poisons and the like. This piece is an artificial liver with twice the efficiency of a regular one as well. It is a machine. This is one of two pieces of armor he cannot remove from himself. He is thus always in pain.

Kisala was popped onto a narrow steel beam before she knew what was happening. Once her feet hit the steel she lost her balance and almost fell having to use her keen instincts, and hold onto the garter with her legs in order to keep from falling who know's how far to her death, or at least a very painful landing. She hung there for a moment breathing a sigh of relief. She looked around with everything upside down taking in the area that would be her battle ground. She could sense the barrier that surrounded her. It didn't seem especially strong, but something about it told her gut that she was not going to be breaking through it. She shrugged and used her toned, tanned abs to pull herself up into a seated position on the garter.
Haruken was strapped to her back. She let her orange eyes scan the piles of rubble and minerals below her. She thought that maybe hiding there would be a good place to start, but so would keeping the high ground. Her train of thought was interrupted when she felt an ominous presence enter the field a short time later. She never felt such a level of dark intent before. It sent violent shivers up her spine. She was starting to shake a bit too. She also felt just how powerful it was. Whatever it was was well beyond her capabilities. She squinted her eyes being guided by her energy sensory she spotted the man standing on a pile of rubble near the edge of the arena.
She recognized him, though she had not ran into him previously. The man that was to be her opponent was none other than Douma. She had heard stories of the rogue outlaw, none of them how he actually did any good things. Seriously how hard is it to help find a lost puppy or something? Kisala stood up keeping her eyes locked on him. Then all of a sudden, a red aura erupted from around Douma. His already intimidating aura was now intensified by yet another aura. This one seemed to be more or less an amplification of his own, but there was something slightly different about it. She couldn't place it, but that was neither here nor there.
Kisala planted her feet and flexed her spiritual pressure. If Douma wanted a dick measuring contest, she would show what she got even if she already knew it was less than his. Her reiatsu would flare basically blanketing the entire area. She reached back and drew her blade. She had an idea. She would throw Haruken to create a tornado between herself and Douma. Between the central cyclone, and her reiatsu blanketing the area, she hopped that she would be able to hide herself farther down the skeleton of the building. She would hide behind a vertical garter. She would form four small wind shuriken and one large one. She then darted out running across the garter throwing the four around the cyclone, two arcing around each side using the circular air motion of the cyclone to gain speed, and threw the large one right through the cyclone for a straight on attack. She would finish by hiding behind another vertical garter, but keeping an eye on Douma while using her stealth to keep herself physically hidden.

As Kisala flexed her spirit in response to Douma’s Blood Cross, he almost felt the urge to smile. Almost, but not quite. Kisala would have to do more to properly entertain him. Her initial move created a torrent of reiatsu that rapidly made its way toward Douma. Douma could still detect Kisala’s presence behind it with his sharp energy sensory, but he could also feel the source of her power within the strike. She had thrown her zanpakuto at him.
But that was not all. The rogue shinigami detected several more reiatsu spikes from Kisala’s location. Four more, to be precise. Based on how rapidly this energy moved toward him, he could tell that they were additional projectiles that accompanied the first. However, by piling attacks on top of each other, Kisala had created reiatsu-infused winds flowing around her and between herself and Douma. There was so much going on that she had overwhelmed his energy sensory with information. It was too much to keep track of, and even with her release active, Kisala had managed to mask her spiritual presence. It was temporary but effective. Douma briefly had no clue where she was.
Unfortunately, it was an opportunity that Kisala had not capitalized on. Douma was left to only face her projectiles as she selected a new hiding spot. However, he had a counter in mind, and its success didn’t depend on knowing Kisala’s location. If he wasn’t where where she was, then he would attack everywhere. That’s right, Kisala was in for a hell of a sight. Douma had just a second or two before the wind shuriken made impact. In that time, he simply raised his right arm to the projectiles, flashing the obsidian cross imbedded in his palm.
From Douma’s hand, a projectile had appeared. It was huge. No, that was an understatement. It was colossal. The Angel of Silence had fired a sphere the size of a skyscraper right at Kisala. Her wind shuriken rammed the ball, but their effort was futile. They may as well have been a light autumn breeze. This was the result of Vita Sollertia: Verutum, one of the most powerful techniques in Douma’s arsenal.
The sphere moved as a speed of 400, tearing through the ground as it did. Furthermore, it possessed the raw power of Douma’s bakkoto, although it lacked its abilities. Still, the sphere would have no trouble making its way to Kisala. It would easily force her out of her hiding space as it turned the construction site to rubble. This was the destructive power he possessed. Douma wouldn't hold back against Kisala.
Against a technique of that caliber, Douma expected Kisala to dodge. He wasn’t sure whether or not she had the raw power to block or halt his attack. After clearing out her wind shuriken and forcing her to move, he’d easily be able to pinpoint her location once more. Douma drew the black blade at his hip, his artificial zanpakuto. As he did, he activated it so that the weapon darkened and a black box floated casually over his head.
The moment Kisala was clear of the sphere, Douma used shunpo to close the distance. He would appear right by her left side, immediately raising his blade over his head with his right hand, paying reiatsu so that the black box could record the motion. Without hesitation, he then swung the blade down, intending to slice through Kisala’s head. His left arm stayed in front of his body, ensuring that he didn’t leave himself open to a counterstrike. He was taking no risks in this match.
Reiatsu Remaining: 13,050/14,000 (-600 for Verutum, -200 for his artificial zanpakuto, -50 for shunpo, -100 for recording one move)

Kisala looked around the garter watching the shuriken fly to their target. Suddenly a feeling of dread and alarm came over her telling her that she needed to move now! She would to the edge of the structure and leap off the garter forming a wall of reiatsu to continue putting distance between her and the structure. A skyscraper sized sphere sphere collided with her shuriken completely demolishing them, and tearing apart the skeletal structure. Kisala could only watch as the broken pieces of metal tumbled to the ground clanging to the ground. Their impact echoing around them. Kisala would turn her head back to Douma to see that he was gone.
Her head snapped up to see Douma slightly over her with a sword raised over his head. He had an odd black box above him as well, but she didn't have time to question it before he started to bring his blade down. For someone who can fire off skyscraper sized projectiles, she wasn't going to try and put her strength against his. She pushed off hard with her legs shooting to his left using shunpo. She would create another long platform of reiatsu planting her feet on it before running again. She would point her zanpakuto at the rogue and spin it again. A vortex of wind would push the man, if he didn't brace himself, against the barrier that enclosed them. A continuous barrage of wind blades would assault him, as long as he was pinned. She would also form four small shuriken in her left hand throwing them into the vortex to increase their speed.
Shredding Cyclone -200 4 small wind shurikens -100 7350/8000
Douma watched Kisala carefully as she darted out of his reach with shunpo. So it seemed that she preferred to run away rather than get up-close. Douma had to admit that close-range combat was not his specialty either, but he was more interested in seeing what Kisala had planned against him. Unfortunately, Douma was disappointed by her actions. Now that she had created distance between them, Kisala had continued the exact same strategy as before. She relied solely on her wind attacks and shuriken, even though Douma had already demonstrated his ability to break past them with raw power.
This time, however, he’d do something different. As she spun her weapon around her, creating another whirlwind, Douma activated a rare and powerful technique to awaken his bakkoto without releasing it. From where the sealed parasite lay in his right arm, a demonic creature burst from his hand. It was the size of a human, but it looked far more like a hellish insect than a man. With dual wings on its back and scythe-like arms, it sped toward Kisala at a casual speed of 300. Letting out a piercing shriek, the creature slashed at the wind, cutting cleanly through it and protecting Douma from Kisala’s attack.
The parasite moved toward Kisala along a straight-forward path, slashing at the wind shuriken she would throw as well. Once it came near, the creature would raise its right arm and slash down with its sharp limb, creating a deep gash from Kisala’s left shoulder to her right hip unless she could evade or block against it. Douma simply watched from afar, studying Kisala’s response against his bakkoto. If she ran away, it would simply follow and keep pushing its attack forward. A simple shunpo wouldn’t work this time. She’d have to try something new.
Reiatsu Remaining: 12,650/14,000 (-500 for Telum)
Life Force Remaining: 12,900/14,000 (-500 for Telum)
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [Rogues]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect): [Insert Below]
Shinigami of Soul Society have Soul Projection to manifest their zanpakuto as other weapons or even summon a physical form of their zanapkuto spirit. Vita Sollertia: Telum is the Rogue equivalent. Most bakkoto do not appear as a weapon in the sealed state, but this technique remedies that flaw. The user may create summon weapon that would be treated as a manifestation of their bakkoto. The exact appearance of this weapon is up to the user. Its durability is equal to that of the user's release weapon.
More complex weapons cost more reiatsu and take more focus to create. For this reason, it’s simplest to create weapons that the user is already familiar with. It is impossible to create weapons one has never seen before. The user may only create a weapon in which they have invested skill points into, although points in crafting allows the user to make any weapon they desire. The cost system works the same as that of Soul Projection. A knife costs 25 reiatsu. A sword, axe or spear costs 50 reiatsu. A firearm costs 100 reiatsu. A grenade costs 150 reiatsu. A rocket launcher costs 200 reiatsu. A car or vehicle costs 250 reiatsu.
Here’s where things get interesting. Now, the user can manifest the parasitic spirit of their bakkoto. By paying a cost of 400 reiatsu and life force, one can call upon their bakkoto to take on a physical form. The exact appearance of the bakkoto is up to the user, although it cannot resemble a human. The bakkoto is a very animalistic creature, and so it will take on a more wild or demonic form. The parasite will have a speed of 800 and strength of 500. The user may choose to either determine certain targets for the parasitic weapon to pursue or do the opposite and specify individuals that it may not hurt, thus setting it on a destructive rampage toward its targets. It possesses 150 instinct and senses, and its durability is equal to that of the user’s release weapon. Bakkoto are not sentient like zanpakuto spirit, so while they will respond to simple mental commands, they do not communicate back. The bakkoto’s main goal is destruction. This is what sets Telum apart from Soul Projection. The Shinigami may call upon their intelligent zanpakuto spirits for aid, while rogues can instead release a monster into the world to wreck havoc on their behalf.
How to use technique (How is it activated?):
Pay the cost and activate it to summon your weapon near you.
Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc) (Insert Below)
Other than reiatsu and life force costs, there are other drawbacks to Vita Sollertia: Telum. If the parasite the user creates is destroyed, the rogue’s release will immediately shut down and they will not have access to their bakkoto for a three post, leaving them vulnerable and release-less in that time. Furthermore, the parasitic spirit can only survive outside the user for 8 posts. Before the 8 posts are over, the parasite must return to the user and merge with them once more. If the bakkoto fails to do so fater the post duration ends, the user will suffer the same drawbacks as though the parasite were killed. When learned and proficient with Telum, one can only manifest one physical form of their bakkoto. However, if this technique is mastered, the user can even call upon two identical manifestations of his bakkoto.

Great one more thing to keep track of. Kisala thought watching the black insecticide thing slash apart her wind shuriken like they were nothing. There was nothing she can do about it. She would just have to get around it. It came straight at her. Using advanced air ground, she moved above and around keeping part of her attention on the thing in case it was smarter than she had anticipated. She would throw her shuriken above Douma and create two large wind shuriken grabbing one with each hand. With a deep breath the technique went off. A dome of air would surround the two. She had hoped that he wasn't expecting all the are in the dome to be sucked out all at once leaving him with less air in his lungs than her. She would shunpo close to him and slash at his chest with the shuriken in her right hand like it was a chakram. If he dodged, she would track him and thrust the second one into his chest spinning it on her fingers to cause it to rip and tear deeper into his chest cavity.

It seemed that Kisala was out of tricks. As the bakkoto chased her at a casual speed, she kept her distance against the creature, retreating backward and upward to avoid engaging in combat with the demonic incarnation of Douma’s parasite. As she did, she stuck to her old, worn-out tactic of long-ranged abilities. It is futile. He had pushed the Lieutenant to her limit.
The Angel of Silence had a habit of playing with his food, but not out of amusement. He found no pleasuring in holding back and swatting away Kisala’s unconcerning abilities. The only reason he entertained the Vice Captain so long as to see what she was capable of when she was backed up into a corner, and she had disappointed him. So much raw power, but no idea how to harness it… it’s a shame. There was nothing she could do to get the upper hand. Douma had decided to end the game, and upon making that decision, the battle was essentially over. Kisala just didn’t know it yet.
She sent the wind shuriken flying over Douma’s head, but the rogue was no fool. He could tell when an ability was aimed to come close to him rather than directly strike him. By pointing his finger at the projectile and activating Vita Sollertia: Verutum, Douma fired a black sphere the size of a beach ball at it. There was no competition in their power. Douma’s own ability would tear through Kisala’s, destroying her shuriken before any air dome could form.
But the Vice Captain chose to rush past the bakkoto and engage Douma in direct close-combat. Perhaps she had considered the fact that Douma summoned his bakkoto to fight on his behalf and made a fatal assumption: that Douma himself was incapable of close-combat. That was false. In fact, Douma had taken precautions beforehand to avoid wasting his energy in a match of swords against the Lieutenant. He stood still as she swung her weapon of wind toward him, but just before she reached, the woman would witness first-hand the power of his artificial zanpakuto. At a speed equal to half of Douma’s shunpo speed, 1500 , the black box hovering over Douma’s head flew right at Kisala like a bullet at point-blank range. However, there was no impact. Instead of doing damage, when it struck the Shinigami, she’d be forced to conduct the same actions Douma recorded except at 3000 speed.
Kisala’s slash was immediately interrupted, and instead, she found that she very quickly raised her right arm over her head. Douma was already in motion, slicing from Kisala’s left him to her right shoulder in one motion with shunpo karin. It would leave a horrendously deep gash all along her torso, resulting in immense bleeding. Furthermore, Kisala herself would be in grave danger, as Douma’s bakkoto was quite aware of her terrible predicament. It was taking its time before, but now, the bakkoto rushed toward Kisala from behind at a speed of 800, preparing to slice and devour her body from behind.
Kisala was caught between a rock and a hard place. Even if she tried to run, she would be hindered by a grave wound with blood pouring from it with the bakkoto right at her tail, a monster with strength she could not overcome, speed she could not contest, and a durability she could not break. If she continued to push forward against Douma, the bakkoto would strike from behind. If she turned to address the parasite, Douma would surely deliver the final blow. Kisala was out of options. This was the end.
