Once a Captain of the Gotei 13, now a member of the Human World Dwellers. It is funny to become one of those she had sworn protect after spending years on duty to safeguard their world. This was a path that she never saw coming, but one that is embraced with open arms. As she had learned as a Shinigami, when one door is closed, another is opened. For Kaijin, this was a door that gave way to many new opportunities, and a means of reprieve from her time as a Shinigami. For now she may live her life once more as a normal human girl. However, unlike before, there have been some alterations since her time being a living girl. Because, it was before this time that Kaijin donned the facial mask as "Harle", a girl who felt shamed and fear as to who she was. The fear of being weak, and of those around her. All the reason to slip into the persona of Harle Quinn.

Now, not no longer as Kaijin lives the life as Kaijin, rather than Harle. While Harle made up who Kaijin is today, the mask was no longer needed in this new life that another helped to forge for her. Traces of Harle are still seen to this day, however, now as a the girl who lived with her parents in France. The acrobatic Illusionist, Kaijin Quinn. Without her signature face paint, the girl's natural complexion is entirely exposed for all to see. During her time as a Shinigami, the creamy Vanilla shade of her skin has not dulled in the slightest. Without the face paint that she wore often as a Shinigami, her skin is completely exposed, revealing it's original shine and coating. Even as a Captain, Kaijin was still a girl, and kept herself cared for as she served.

The bright glistening shine of her sapphire eyes still radiate the same as they always have. Still retaining much of their gentle aura about them, yet, through the years of fighting they have become more focused, keen on what resides around them. However, her eyes alone are not what draws attention to the French woman, for it is her bright glowing hair. As if it were coated by the light of reiatsu, Kaijin's blonde hair emits its own unique allure. Flawless in its radiance, the effect of the Saigo No Houmen had removed the woman's previous dark natural color of a brunette. The resulting power shed away not only the Shinigami prowess that the woman held, but that of who she was before this time. A new appeal for a new beginning.

Kaijin's hair remains as it always has been. Long and straight. Well kept and groomed from scalp to the tips. As long as it was when she was a Shinigami, Kaijin had always maintained it. Usually in a ponytail, which she continues to do now. More to the appeal of the average village girl. Why, well because Kaijin was originally an average village girl. Aside from being part of a family that traveled constantly, her clothing was kept simple, and that did include her overall style of grooming. For that reason Kaijin has her hair in the form of a braided ponytail. Keeping the scalp area a bit more modern for the age that she resides in, the Fullbringer only has wrapped the under layers of her hair in the back braided. This helps to keep it both modern as well as a bit old fashion, using a small black cloth to tie the end of the tail's loose ends neatly.

Kaiji keeps the previous appeal of her hair. Keeping the bangs that cover the surface of her forehead, and bits of her brow line. Her small ears are overlapped near the sides of her scalp by strands of her hair, while larger portions are kept behind the ridge. The center bang shades some of her view point from the sun rays overhead, but do not interfere with her sights. That, and only the side bangs drop down to her slender neck, while it is her ponytail that falls to her waistline.

Slight blush of the cheeks help to give the girl a bit more average look to her, and some adjustment to her color, other than being Vanilla. Still, it is the woman's body that helps to draw in those around her. Whether it may be her smile, or blooming aura, her figure is one that only a trained Shinigami would have. So, one can say that she descended from Heaven, literally. Kaijin retains much of what her training and years of fighting had produced. A slick lean toned figure that remains slender throughout the entire girl's form. A refined collar and neck. Slim waistline. A tuckered abdomen, and toned muscles. Kaijin may not have been built for superior strength, but her efforts as an acrobat have never ceased to help formulate her muscles and limberness. While isn't a body builder, her flexibility can surely give them a run for their money.

Because of her training, they have provided Kaijin with further emphasis on her proportions. A well sculpted body, as if its shape was shaven and smoothed like marble, Kaijin's figure continues to impress, even herself. As a woman, she was always careful to keep a good nutritional diet with all the different food groups. Not picky to a particular group, her body reveals to what a well balance diet can provide. A tightened waistline, and figure, her proportions are easily noticeable as they are robust. Even as a slender woman, her measurements are indeed as followed: Bust: 37", Waist: 21", and Hips: 33". Serving as a Captain endowed many opportunities to further herself, and doing so emphasized her strengths and belittled her weaknesses. However, it can not be said that Kaijin had also endured her own failures and hardships. Even as refined as her body maybe, it still carries on the scars of such troubling experiences.

As a Lieutenant, when facing the Twin Arrancars, Kaijin retains the deep laceration that vertically descends from between her breasts down to the naval. A scar that has healed, yet lingers to remind the woman of the promise that was made to her, and to remind her to never underestimate her foes. The pair of diagonal slashes on her back give testament to the girl's own resolves to that her days as a Captain. Battle after battle, mission after mission, the victories and losses as Harle Quinn carry over onto Kaijin. Always serving as her history as a Shinigami, and what resides beyond the eyes of the physical human world of the living. Yet, what will remain as a symbol of her failure and that of her dedication to Soul Society, will be of her missing left arm. The details are not known to all, but only revealed to those who are indeed close to the girl. A nub that only holds the remains bits of her left shoulder, completely ridding the woman of a limb. A sight that she feels to be disgusting, and yet, well deserved.

Beyond that, Kaijin as made sure that the rest of her tear the eyes away from the sight. Polished nails and a soft sweet scent, Kaijin only looks to the sight of her missing limb only as a reminder of what she could have done better. Serving both as a ill momento, and that of a gift, the girl only desires to be put more effort in what others say she can not do. Despite the healed lacerations, her skin remains as smooth as the day she was born. Much of her efforts are seen in her legs. As a practitioner of the martial arts, Kaijin's legs provide the most detailed information as to her combat style. Developed and toned, her legs are not to be misunderstood as any other pair that people may have come by. They are indeed one of the most notable things about the girl's body, which does include her feet. As small as they are, it is without a doubt that they are just as experienced as her fists are. While she may appear to be an average woman to the lazy eye, a keen sense wouldn't believe that their isn't more the Kaijin that met the eye.

Beyond her looks, the only accessories that Kaijin is often seen with is the small Japanese Bell that is wrapped around her wrist as a bracelet. Small and bronze, the bell still retains is soothing chime when struck. Although the bell may be important, as an object that ties the girl to her parents, but looking towards the future, it is the ring that Marcus gave to the girl that serves as a treasured item. Not only that it serves as a reminder of the promise that she made to her parents, but even serving as an icon to what the future would hold for her. This ring is found on her right hand's ring finger.

{Casual Wear}

When it comes to clothing, Kaijin isn't very trendy. Style isn't something that is a must when trying to keep it simple. And when trying to keep it simple Kaijin does so with some style. Or actually, it is the girl herself that puts the style into it. While Kaijin isn't keen on fashion when moving about in public, she doesn't want to attract too much attention than that of the average person. Kaijin sports a single piece black dress. The dress' fabric is fairly light with enough material to keep it from being seen through. The loose collar helps Kaijin breath without restricting her, but at the same time providing a sufficient amount of sex appeal. While sex appeal isn't something that the girl would venture towards, it is something that helps to give when next to the man she loves to see.

The dress itself covers the woman's body, from half way between the collar and chest, down past the knees. It is kept with threaded straps that sling over her shoulders, and a cotton made belt that helps to fasten the single piece behind the waistline. These fasteners are entirely adjustable to the wearer's own desires, so it doesn't make the piece too suffocating or spacey. But, to add a bit of personal flare to the dress, Kaijin had it so that there by some lace frills to decorate the collar and bottom areas of the dress. A symbol of Kaijin embracing some influence of both of her parents lineage in terms of nationality and origin. Yet, it wouldn't be complete without the white silk jacket that she dons over her shoulders.

While only having one arm, it still makes for a good secondary piece to her uniform. This garment is skin tight due to its material. It easily stretches out and returns to normally so the jacket can be worn for years to come. And naturally, it provides the dress with some sleeves to keep Kaijin warm, while at the same time not have her sweat. This jacket has no buttons or threads to keep the front of it closed, and only descends down to her hips. Other than that, the jacket is quite comfortable for any season that may come. For shoes, Kaijin still retains much of her Shinigami tastes, so she stuck with platform string sandals. Not too high or too low, the elevation is just a mere five centimeters off the ground.

{Combat Uniform}

Now this is where Kaijin begins to feel a bit at home, in terms of acting somewhat like a Shinigami again. Though her capabilities are quite different from what she is comfortable with, it doesn't mean that there are not opportunities present. Combat isn't foreign to the woman, so she is more accustom as to what works for her to wear in battle. Now it isn't because the uniform is important to feel the desire to really fight, as Kaijin can fight in nearly any attire. Not that she would fight in the nude. But this primarily to be used in operations or when scouring about the city with the intention to fight. And while it doesn't provide the same effects as they did as a Shinigami, the sensation that being in an uniform feels more customary, rather than wearing casual clothing in a fight.

This uniform is composed of a black backless leotard suit that hangs around her neck and passes through her groin region. Rubber in terms of outside texture, while supporting with a comfortable cotton interior to prevent irritation to the skin. And as its main material is that of rubber, it is flexible and capable of stretching out to match Kaijin's body movements without breaking or straining itself. The suit is quite a simple design as it doesn't have sleeves for the arms or for the legs. Its backless covering allows Kaijin to move about without having her shoulders restraint by the material, despite being as flexible as it is. As a leotard, the material acts as a second skin for the Fullbringer, and is insulated.

Fish nets are located beneath the under arms to help bind the front and back together. It can even be found just below the shoulder blades at the back of the leotard. While this piece only covers the entire torso region, there are other components to her uniform that piece it all together. First off, there is the narrow corset belt that is located beneath the woman's bosom. This piece is made up of a meshes rubber material that acts as light weight armor. This piece is tied by a orchid color woven thread that wraps around to the back of the girl's exposed backside. The other pieces that link to her legs and arms are what help to make outfit whole.

With her arms, the forearm guard is what is primarily used to support her wrists and serve as protection. Just like with her leotard, the forearms are covered with the similar flexible material that helps to maintain warmth, while doubling as a minor shield. Easy to bend and doesn't wear off from the ever changing environment around her, it moves with her motion of her muscles so it won't impede Kaijin's movements during a fight. It is outfitted with a fingerless glove attachment so it does cover from the extent of her hand down to her elbows. However, for her missing left arm, a small cloth is used that straps on from her left side of her collar bone to the back of her left shoulder bone.

As for the legs, a single piece sleeve is used to cover her legs. Much like the previous pieces of her uniform, this material is made of cotton that has been covered by a meshed fiber that protects the Kaijin's toes, up to her upper highs. These thigh high sleeves are adjustable with the rubber belts that are stitched to the thigh area. Above that resides another belt that is attached to the sleeve, and to the hip region. This gap of space is protected by a flexible fiber material that mimics the leg sleeves. Resilient and light, three small plates were crafted to look very much like that of armor. These plates are attached to the upper thigh, where the leg and hip joint meet. This keeps Kaijin's legs covered and shielded from much of the outside elements. But as for the feet, a silk material is used for this area.

The reason behind the silk material is because Kaijin uses them very often. Using the fiber material here would impede much of her movement, causing discomfort. This is why her shins were reinforced with the fiber material rather than that of her actual feet. Because of this, Kaijin is capable of using her custom made padded heels over her two toed socks. They are just as her Shinigami attire possessed before becoming a living human being. Placing more elevation on the heel with a downwards slope of the toes, they are what most Kunoichis use when moving about.

Likes:


1. Magic-

She loves magic and would like to continue it for the rest of her life. The wonder and awe that it brings to the face of people when they see the impossible happen. Magic is about bringing the entertainment and joy to people, not to make money or fame. Harle grown up around magic thanks to her father and has learned many tricks, which is why that some people call her the Chirs Angel of her time, or simply "The Enigamatic Illusionist."


2. Smiling Faces-

She loves to see the smiling faces of people, because she knows that they are relaxed and cheery with little care about their troubles. Harle wishes that she could have everyone like that, so that they are get along with each other. It is this very thing that Harle strives for regardless who it is, except murders. Whether it be friend or foe, Harle is happy to see those smiling faces. This is probably from her mother's side of the family.


3. People who care-

It is good to see that people help out each other. This gives Harle high hopes that humanity has a future and she would want to help to achieve this idea. Even after the countless years of war and blood shed she has seen in her homeland of France, humanity is still fighting to do what is right.


4. Children-

She loves children as much as she does magic. When ever she has spare time Harle would venture out of the Seireitei to entertain all of the small children with card tricks, juggling, levitation acts, and even the simple rabbit out of a hat trick. This is what Harle was born to do and brings warmth to her very soul. And maybe when she meets the right man, she may want some little jugglers of her own.


5. Gentlemen-

At least humanity has not slipped in practicing the ways of being kind, tender, and upright. Even though they appear and act funny, not that she is one to talk, men that act as such should be held up higher than all the drunks that she has seen laying around the Seireitei. She does not have a problem with drinking, it's just not her thing.


6. Sweet Candy-

She can't get enough of them. Sweet, sour candy is something that must be experienced in order to describe the taste and happiness that it brings. Harle always has a bag of sweets somewhere hidden in her uniform but she won't say wear. Always willing to share her candy Harle just wants to see how even the smallest of things can bring joy to others.


7. Relationships-

It is a heart warming feeling to see people who become emotional attached to each other. It is within a relationship that mankind is able to understand and is able to grow. Sharing secrets that no others would know of and to include the wonders of bringing new life into the world. Kaijin can become jealous from seeing two people get lovey dovey and makes her wish that she had someone who would care for her just the same. But now she doesn't need to imagine, she no longer needs time dream of what it feels like. She has someone. A person who would be happy to die for; Marcus.


8. Gymnastics-

Another one of Kaijin's personal favorites. In order to maintain her figure and skills for future performances, the girl must be able to move fluidly around her environment with screwing up. This particularly helps a lot in battle since she does not have much strength to fight with.


9. Dancing-

She loves to dance, she can't help it nor does she want to fix it. It is another form of entertainment that Kaijin loves to do. Feeling the rhythm of the music and allowing your body to move with the music is something that helps Kaijin express herself in more than one way. And it does help to maintain her own natural figure as well. Whether it be Zumba or belly dancing, Harle can get down should she feel the need or just to entertain other people.


10. Singing-

Probably one of Kaijin's best traits. Something that Kaijin takes great pride in as a woman, since it was her mother who taught her how to sing. Just sitting back on a balcony or open area, Kaijin likes to sing her songs with her soft warming voice for all to hear and hopefully, bring them peace. Besides back when she was alive, it is not often that the King of France would invite a nobody to sing or perform for him.


11. High Places-

Either staying high up of the tallest buildings or up in the rafters in a building, Kaijin likes being at the very top. Educational wise, not really, but the feeling of the wind blowing through your hair and feeling the air embrace you with never ending freedom is truly relaxing to her. Besides, spending most her years a trapeze artist also explains her love for high places, to the point where she just wants to jump off and flip around in mid-air or walk along a tight rope.


12. The Vocaloids -

Watching these imaginary teenagers sing and dance with the smiling people that they bring happiness too is amazing. Kaijin likes how they sing and dance which seems to be quite popular with today's modern trends. Watching their dancing is quite attracting Harle has to say. A little flashy but that is what a show is about too. Kaijin would definitely like to improve her dancing and singing abilities to be able to attract and bring joy like they do.


13. Late Night Walks -

The nice cool breeze blowing against your face as you run and soar through the sky is amazing and quite relaxing. Not many people that Kaijin knows ever takes this opportunity to take a nice quiet stroll outside, which is fine by Kaijin. Especially in the moon lit sky. Kaijin absolutely loves to jump roof top to roof top while basking in the light of the moon.


14. Marcus-

The first human she was able to interact with in the World of the Living, and the first to understand her. Among all the men she had met, Marcus was the first to peel back the mask of Harle. Beneath the exterior was where Kaijin resided. At first, it was the man's own grief that pulled the woman to help him. After some miscommunication, the two gradually began to understand one another. It wasn't something occurred over night, somewhat. A man such as him, who understood the fascination and joy that what the tent brought to people, drew the girl towards him. Admiration and possibly her own feminine heart fluttering. She just felt at home with him. May be why she found herself so willing to do what she has done with him, but it wasn't a mistake as this was no spur of the moment. Kajin was relieved that she decided to pursue him. And now, a brighter future resides with him. He is one that she would die for without a moments hesitation.



Dislikes:


1. Sad Faces-

Reminds her of the times when people are suffering or who are feeling sad. With the death of her mother she saw how her father was in pain and wanted to change his expression. This discourages Kaijin and makes her want to try harder to help them put a smile.


2. Angry People-

Maybe they have low blood sugar or perhaps they are just upset with something. Kaijin would like to change that frown upside down. Life is too short, so to speak, to allow yourself to live with anger. She would typically want to avoid theses types of people but as an entertainer she can not allow this to stand, whether it be friend or foe.


3. Being Touched-

This is probably one of the biggest peeves that Kaijin has with people who she does not know let allow does not even trust. This relates back to when she was nearly raped by several men when she attempting to help them. Things went sour, so this basic sense of being touched makes Kaijin uncomfortable with other people who are more than arms length near her. She does not feel this way when touched by children, just only more mature or grown people. Should someone manage to touch her would make those horrible memories return again, causing Kaijin curl up or to lash out at the person if they continue to persist, and try to escape by any means necessary.


4. Loneliness-

Kaijin does not like being alone, period. Being alone means that you are isolated from other people and they do not have a chance to get to know who you really are. Even if she does not like being touched it does not mean that she does not like to socialize with other people. And with her line of work, she is meant to around other people.


5. Murderers-

They are the worst kind of people. The very thought of taking someones life is disrespectful of the gift that they were given. Kaijin would rather punish them and watch them grovel before her with some of her illusions. They think that they can get away murder and not have to pay the consequences, then they are dead wrong.


6. Standing Still-

It basically sucks in other words. Kaijin was born to move around, her parents taught her to keep on moving. Whether it is traveling the world or just flipping around in a small room, Kaijin can't focus if she is just sitting still in a class room or talking to someone. It may be due to her being a bit restless, or just impatient. But it doesn't matter as being productive is the best means in thinking.


7. Fighting-

Probably one of the things that she hates to do the most, however, if she must then she will do so to protect other people. This conflicts with her other dislikes because if she fights then people will be sad and angry, which as a performer she is meant to inspire joy and wonder.


8. Perverts-

Just because she is dressed this way doesn't mean anything. What she wears is part of the act and would appreciate if people would not try to cope a feel of her chest or butt. Because Kaijin trains so much over the hundreds of years it will only be natural for her to have a real nice build. She does not mind the whistling or the name calling, because come on, really, she is a girl after all. She just doesn't like the touching or the lustful starring, this makes her uncomfortable and keeps her guard up to counter attack if necessary.


9. Being Called a Freak-

It would not be the first time nor the last time that Harle was called one. Being called or labeled as a freak emotionally discourages her to the point where she would want to be alone. Kaijin does not blame them for calling her a freak since she does act and dress weird, she just wishes that some people would try to understand her before calling her one. After all, this is her heritage, her calling, and a momentum to honor her parents.


10. Sweating-

Ugh, having sweat all over stinks and ruins her face paint. The feeling of being sticky and stinking is something that Kaijin does not like. Her clothes will be sticking to her body and with the material that they are made of, and having them stick is not acceptable. Besides from ruining her precious uniform, the face paint itself will smear and be ruined. Not only will her paint will be ruined but sometimes it will go into her eyes and that stings like hell. So that is a no no for Kaijin.


11. Loafing Around-

It's fine to be lazy at times, especially when trying to take it easy. However, that can easily become repetitive and boring. Moreover, it allows life to pass by without being known. Especially when the danger is close at hand. The attack on the Seireitei revealed to the girl that she had to become more involved with the others, to take matters into her own hands, regardless of the outcome. If she hadn't, then the darkness would have surely grown much larger than what it was. Even if she had failed, it was better to do something rather than nothing. Kaijin had the power to prevent it, and did so trying. She had nothing to regret.


12. Arrogance-

It was once thought that arrogance was bliss. It couldn't have been further from the truth. The lack of knowledge, knowing there was such corruption within Soul Society, made matters around Soul Society to be much more deceptive than she would have liked to believe in. Even after finding out, she attempted to inform others of the matter. The Kawadas were the few that she made such an attempt during the invasion. The possible corruption was made all the more evident. It isn't bliss to understand that a danger remained loose, and could eventually destroy the very livelihood in which they took for granted. Kaijin could no longer stand up for it, and neither should others.


Flaws:


1. Strange Appearances-

She doesn't know how people think about how she dresses or how she acts. Maybe they think that she is a freak or a nut job from the prison. Kaijin does not blame them for not understanding but she does hope that her appearance does not discourage them from talking to her.


2. Arms Distance-

Because Kaijin does not like to be touched by grown people, she will generally stay out of arms reach of people to avoid making physical contact. She does not know how people will take her reaction hoping that they do not misunderstand why she does what she does. Of course her face will show how uncomfortable she is when people get too close, and especially when they touch her. She does hope that they forgive her when she lashes out at them.


3. No Patience-

Unable to hold still for a moment, Kaijin would seem to be the one who has little patience when seeing her run around the area or just practicing her juggling or magic in general. This can probably come off as disrespectful since she appears to be paying very little attention when she actually is.


4. Daring-

Because of living her life taking risks,Kaijin gets herself into trouble by doing high end risky performances. Dashing down a corridor in the Captains quarters or balancing herself on the edge of a tree branch in the precious Kuchiki Garden, Kaijin is always up for some risk taking to push herself to new heights of entertainment, even if it is within territory that is to be said "off-limits."


5. Kindness-

Kaijin is gentle and kind girl. She likes to befriend everyone, even when she acts weirdly by maintaining her mischievous attitude around people. Even when fighting an enemy, Kaijin would try to deter away from the battle to see if it can be avoided all together either by asking the enemy to surrender or if they want to do something fun that is non-sexual or violent.


6. Mischief-

Being unable to truly trust or get near people, Kaijin will act unusual around people she meets for the first time. She never talks about herself much and will fade away to only reappear to the other side of a person or group. Kaijin would even answer a question with another question. This will either make people interested in her or hate her right away. Even if she intends no harm in her actions this helps observe how each person behaves and to see if she needs to maintain some distance from them.

Now in days she may not be as shady as some people think she is. Much of this died out from her escape from Soul Society. But it is a fact that the only person she will never keep anything from would be her lover, Marcus.


7. Reckless-

It may be perhaps that she felt responsible, or perhaps to strict on herself in believing she should shoulder the weight because is the only one who can. Either way, Kaijin pushes herself to do what she believes is right. Not out of a sense of justice or some higher calling, but to insure that there is a safe haven for all to take shelter in. This desire, this pursuit, a driven desire to shoulder responsibility onto herself is what makes Kaijin undoubtedly reckless. Always looking to push beyond what she is capable of, and never looking back.



8. PTSD-

This was something that was bound to happen, especially during the escape of Soul Society. Too many thoughts passing through the immense strain that her anxiety causes to the body. Her fears and doubts all come rushing in a single event that mixed a desire to survive with that of those that desired to take her life. A life or death situation in which she couldn't fight back. The fear of doing harm onto those who have fought alongside her, people whom she respected, all coming to take her life. But, what took its hold on her was her confrontation with the Captain Commander. The release of his Zanpakutou in an instant, her life flashing before her eyes, and the unforgettable heat, all in a moment that could have ended it all. To have it end so suddenly without a challenge, without saying what was wanted to be said, was no way to end.



Habits:


1. Candy-

What can she say, she loves candy. Always willing to share and always having some hidden in her uniform. Kaijin just can't get enough of them, when she is talking to other Shinigami or on a adventure to do a mission.


2. Isolating Herself-

This goes again with being labeled a freak or being called a freak. Look at Dislikes to know more.


3. Practicing Magic or Skills-

When Kaijin is bored or just wants to provide entertainment, she will dig into her hidden compartments within her uniform to practice her tricks. Hidden inside of her gloves Kaijin hides two decks of cards. Within her white jacket she will pull out some small rubber balls and start to juggle with one or both hands. Kaijin also hides smoke bombs on the inside of her jacket, attached to the white drape that is linked to the inside of her jacket to practice her disappearing acts.


4. Fidgeting-

It is rare to see Kaijin fidget since she only does this when she is shy, which is hardly ever. This usually happens only when she is caught without her jester garments and face paint. Her habit of fidgeting is done by her playing with her fingers, sways her hips from side to side, or playing with her hands behind her while using her feet to trace marks on the ground. Since she keeps people at a distance, no one at this point as never been able to pass her tests or even shown a hint that they wanted to get to know her. It is always about sex when people talk to her, but that is not what she wants. If she were to have sex, then it would be with the person who she feels that will be her special someone.


5. Sleeping All Natural -

Let's just face Kaijin is old fashion. She can't seem to sleep properly if she does not sleep in the nude or without her silk veil body suit, and of course she still uses blankets to keep warm too. It is not comfortable for her since she has been living in the middle ages for a long time with little clothing to wear except her travelers or her performance attire. Don't consider a nudist or something of the sort because this how Kaijin gets to sleep. Some old habits are just difficult to get rid of.

And yes, she still does despite being human now.


6. Mixed Language-

It is a given that Kaijin will tend to mixing up the way she speaks. Now this isn't intentional as her heavy accent seduces her vocabulary usage. This has been something that has stuck with the girl for years and has never left her. Proud of her heritage, and where she is from, Kaijin's tongue slips time to time shifting between an abrupt English to that of French. It is a given really seeing that she was born and raised in her native country. Although it may annoy and confuse a few people, it doesn't replace the fact that she tries her best to clear it up at times.



Fears:

1. Fire-

During her escape, she thought it would have been a simple task. Using the Saigo No Houmen, her confidence spiked to its all time high. The pinnacle as to what it could have been with a bit more experience and training under her profile. But when confronted by the Captain Commander, it all shattered. Only centuries beyond centuries could only produce such a power, but to face it directly was something that she thought she would never have to go through. She could remember the intense heat. The same heat that could have ended everything. It is the center of her PTSD.


2. Losing Marcus-

It was all that she could think about as she left Soul Society. Marcus remained in the center of her thoughts each and every day as she left the World of the Living to return to Soul Society. She served alongside brilliant and trustworthy individuals. Those who would fight alongside her without hesitation. However, they only recognized her as a Shinigami, as the Jester Captain. Marcus, on the other hand, knew more about Kaijin than the collection of Shinigami in the Gotei 13. Marcus became her center. The man became her everything


3. Failure-

Failure meant people would get hurt. Failure meant that people could die. Facing the foes that she had during her time as a Shinigami brought that to her attention. Jinbei, the hooded Arrancar, Central 46, the Kawada takeover, each and every individual and group had potential in bringing terrifying results to mind. What is possibly with their capabilities if left unchecked. Kaijin failed. She wouldn't fail again. If she were to fail again, then it could mean that those closest to her would eventually pay the price. Her failures cost her the position of Captain, and that of an arm. If others were involved in those failures, what could have happened to them?


4. Sudden Cracks-

PTSD triggers. Flashes of the near death experience she had during her service. All brought together when facing the Captain Commander for an instant. It isn't the idea of what the noise makes that she fears, but the resulting effect that it has with her.


5. The Darkness-

The darkness was all that Kaijin saw when escaping Soul Society. The cold chill and nothingness that was the darkness. No light, no voices, just the utter silence that filled the void around her. It meant the end to all things that could have been. A world without seeing or hearing those that she became close to. A world without Marcus or the warmth that people around her emitted. It was a dead world; a cold world. Something that no one should experience in their lives.


Goals:


1. Being a Master Illusionist-

Just like with any sport or skill, you are never done training to become better. Being able to push herself to go higher, faster, and attempt more dangerous stunts to become the best Illusionist of all times. It was her father's dream to become the best in history, but now that he is gone the dream has been passed onto her. Training to be the best is never over, since there is so much more to improve on. Just as her father told Kaijin when she was little, "The show is never over until the curtain falls."


2. Having a Family-

A dream since she was a teenager in the Middle Ages. Kaijin loves children and to be able to have some of her own isn't a bad idea at all, including if she able to spend her life with the one man that completely understands her and loves her for being that way. For her entire life there have only been several people who actually understood her, as for everyone else, not so much. To be able to be around people who accept her and love her for who she is will be a time most treasured to Kaijin.


3. Spreading the Joy of Wonder-

Magic is meant to be available to everyone to enjoy and to learn about. It was not meant for wealth or foolish pride or even reputations, just the simple idea of spreading joy to those around them. That is one of Harle's dreams. To be able to spread that joy for everyone in the world, to make everyone happy is a future that Kaijin works toward.


4. Someone for Kaijin

Even with her insecurities she has with people and men, Kaijin is constantly searching for the one person who would want to be her because of who she is rather than what she can do for them. For her entire life people can judged her and kept their distance from her, this goes for the Shinigami in the academy when she was first starting out as a Shinigami. They labeled her as a freak or a weirdo without even attempting to get to know her. Kaijin has little to no hard feelings because they don't know her, but she will constantly look for someone that is able to peel away the mischief cover that she puts on in public.


5. Building a Family-

Kaijin always wondered about what it meant to have a family. Was it about passing on a legacy? A dream perhaps? Or just due to the possibility that they could do it? When she thinks about her mother and farther caring for her, she could only imagine what they felt. What does it mean to have a family? Kaijin always thought what it meant. Her mother told her once that she would find the answer once she found someone whom she cherished. She has. And looking at it now, she begins to understand what she meant by it.

Kaijin had gone through a lot of change. From when she first came into Soul Society, the girl was ignorant as to what really transpired beyond her own world. The conditions and environment that she was brought up in seemed to be a small fraction to formulated the world around her. Cheery and upbeat, as Harle, the girl knew only to bring smiles to the faces of those around her. Hiding behind a mask, she was unable to really express herself as a woman. Doing so would eventually lead her down the path of being vulnerable once again. It was only through nearly being raped, that she found that there be people who would take advantage of her kindness and gentle heart. For that reason, she wore the mask of Harle. Hiding behind that mask, Kaijin learned to be confident in herself as a person. Only as a person, leaving behind the pieces of herself that made up who she was.

Over time, there came instances in which her mask was useless. In her missions, she had to learn to blend into her environments, to be cautious of what she did and portrayed herself to be. Wearing her mask, it would have led to trouble, exposing her and endangering the mission. For the first time in a long time, Kaijin was exposed. Leaving the comfort of her mask, the girl felt vulnerable, weak, exposed, and frail. It was only through the mask of "Harle" that Kaijin felt reassured as an individual. The girl came to learn that she was dependent on that mask. This was who Kaijin was in the days of service to Soul Society as a Shinigami. Although she slowly learned to step outside the mask, the anxiety that it caused her never ceased.

As Harle, the French woman was so certain of herself and her abilities. Not cocky, but confident. Assured that she could do anything while personifying as another person. Her passions on full display for what she loves and did so without hesitation. Though it did bother her that a few would consider her strange and weird, but it was meant to be that way. Such a development would only have those who truly recognized Harle as Kaijin. For the woman behind the mask. And that was when it came, or at least, he can into her life. Marcus, despite being a human, was the first to recognize Kaijin. Their beginning may have been under miscommunication based what they were told about the other, but that set aside, they came to learn more about one another. Not through words, but by their actions.

Having spent her time with the Shinigami, Kaijin felt some manner of seclusion from them. They all acted and portrayed themselves openly, while she hid to protect herself. Kaijin was arrogant about why she felt this way, somewhat to the point of being naive. Possibly she was still a child, trying to overcome an obstacle that plagued her entire life to this point. Yet, with her trips to the human world, time spent with Marcus, that sense of confidence of being "Harle" began to mesh with Kaijin. She didn't know when it started, but cracks began to appear on her mask. A sense of freedom and confidence that she only knew as "Harle" was leaking into Kaijin. Before long, she found hersef not wearing her mask anymore.

Out of habit she continued to wear the mask as decoration and to serve as a momentum from her mother and father. Those habits of her, exploring beyond what others thought to be frightening, were passed throug. It had been what she was like before the incident as a human girl. Both Harle and Kaijin were becoming one person. However, much of that had to be held within as her rank grew. Kaijin knew she had to retain discipline while acting as a Captain. Much of her old ways of being bubbly and spontaneously energetic had to be kept in check. Kaijin was very disciplined in this regard of holding back her own desires. But of course, that didn't stop her from doing so when with Marcus. It was thanks to him that Kaijin could retain who she was. She didn't have to change into someone that she didn't want to, or rather, let die who she was. It was thanks to him that she was capable to doing so much without breaking.

His influence on Kaijin continued to effect her as a person, and as a woman. Just like she had done with Marcus, Kaijin became more supportive of her comrades. Kisala mostly. She thought of herself as being the "big sister" or mother figure in Squad 2. Always wanting them to improve and have them learn from their mistakes, the world itself became opened to them in a manner in which the previous Captain couldn't achieve. She trusted them as they trusted her. However, she wasn't foolish either. Caution was one of the many lessons that Kenryoku instilled into Kaijin. As a Captain, she had to push for change, Kaijin had to instill herself with the role as a leader and serve to be an example for them to follow. She had to be direct and harsh when necessary.

Decisive and direct, these were what led Kaijin into committing herself into doing what had to be done. It may not have been the right decision, but it was made nonetheless. Hesitation meant leading to failure, and possibly death. The death of her comrades, the fall of Soul Society, the effects it would have on the Human world; on Marcus. It was a never ending domino effect that continued to stack on top of the other. She had to put an end to it, even if it meant killing. Kaijin isn't a coward, though she may not favor the idea of murderering others to maintain peace, but there was no other option, then she would do so. She dared to do what others wouldn't, even if it meant that it would cause her pain, or worse, subjugate her to capital punishment.

Still, when it comes to the little things in life, such as wealth and class, Kaijin has little concern for them. An open minded girl with a big heart for those revolved around her, she always puts others before herself, and does so no matter the cost. Even if it meant sacrificing herself to do so. Does Kaijin think of herself as a martyr? She doesn't, nor will she ever. She was just the right person for the job. Does she think that she is always in the right? She doesn't. If there were better routes to achieve the same goal, then she would choose to pursue them. But, this doesn't mean that isn't willing to get her own hands dirty if necessary. Acting as an assassin in Squad 2, there are times when bloodshed is unavoidable. At time it had to be done, whether she wore her mask or not.

Responsible and caring, Kaijin does what she thinks is right, even if it may go against the majority. The girl doesn't act without a purpose, as she doesn't like confrontation or violence, only utilizing it as an alternative option when left with no other choices. However, no longer a Shinigami, Kaijin can be more of herself now. Without leading a life that is filled with fighting, she can finally be herself as was always intended. This time around she no longer requires the mask of "Harle", but instead leading a life a the girl Kaijin. A young girl who is passionate for what she does in some of the spontaneous times that come her way.

Fighting Style:

Kaijin isn't one to be a stranger to fighting. Much of her training and experiences from the time as a Shinigami remain, and are strongly infused to her daily life as a living human. Ignorant to that which was around her, the ex-Shinigami has come a long way to harden herself spirit and resolve when it comes to engaging her foes. Just as she did as a Captain, Kaijin does not have a desire to restrain herself as it may lead to undesired results. For this reason Kaijin rushes into the battle strong. With the set desire of pushing and shoving her adversaries to their peak form, it helps the woman to adjust herself accordingly to match their pace, and further.

Just as she was as a Shinigami, Kaijin's use of the martial arts is standard. However, understanding that her body isn't as resilient as it was as a Shinigami, her use and focus in her technique has become much more aggressive. Physical tone and flexibility is what the woman sought after her return to the human world. This is where Kaijin excels in terms of physical prowess. Kaijin's training had never ceased since her time with Soul Society, developing her arts involving other practices, especially revolving around her leg works. As any one would know from facing Kaijin as Harle, the girl specializes in the use of her legs rather than her arms. More so now than ever.

Before the use of the Saigo no Houmen, Kaijin was known as one of the quickest Shinigami among their ranks. Moving in blinding speeds to keep up the pressure on her foes Kaijin pushes them to the upmost limits. However, such tactics won't be fairing well when using a more physical form. Unlike before, Kaijin can not be too reckless with her engagements. Her body is more susceptible to injury and exhaustion. This makes Kaijin re-evaluate her down flaws, and focuses on narrowing them. This pertains more to limiting the use and the risk that her missing arm provides. Which is all the more reason why her flexibility must be second to none.

Kaijin is very well endowed in the art of acrobatics. Like Marcus, Kaijin's childhood, and adolescent years, was spent under the tutelage of her parents. In the art of an Acrobat and as an Illusionist Kaijin must have an eye for detail, and a great deal of patience. Much of her body doesn't refrain from hiding the fact that she does extensive physical training, and this does include how nimble she is. To have her body move in the manner that is necessary, it helps to build momentum and apply her weight into her motions much more easily. It pretty much makes Kaijin a light weight among all the weight classes.

With her speed not what it use to be, the Fullbringer makes up for it in her art of deception. Born into the Circus life Kaijin utilizes her passions as a weapon. Many of her techniques revolve around her use of the Martial Arts, and that of decoy and replication arts. Very much like any other Illusionist, the shift in hands is done with both precision and speed. Often this causes people to lose their balance when having to make split second decisions. Often using the moment to evaluate the situation. This opening is what Kaijin seeks to exploit when made available. While terrific in creating openings, not so well in handling the intended pain that is necessary.

This is where her training in Squad 2 fills in. Operating as an assassin Kaijin's reiatsu has been molded to take on concentrated forms. Blades, bursts of blunt force, the amount of energy released from the woman's body helps to extend her natural physical reach to insure that they make contact. From engaging her foes directly, to withdrawing with shadows and decoys, Kaijin seeks to utilize all sorts of range engagements to maintain the pressure. Keeping her presence silence and quiet, Kaijin engages her foes with aggressive intensity, then reducing her spiritual pressure to the point of ceasing. This is more possible when using her weapons and tools.

As an assassin Kaijin had to make use of tools and her gear to help her fight and retreat from battle. While she primarily uses a short sword, the new arsenal that is provided gives her an array of different combat methods. But to limit this, to specialize, the use of toxins, knives, and explosives help to mix and add flavor to the fight. Primarily to close her moments of being vulnerable, the toxins used are meant to drain stamina and plague the mind with hallucinations. Attacking mid range while the girl scans the situation for a possible opening, or for a moment to retreat. This makes it all possible with her Fullbring release, The Happy Joker. It's initial design is not meant for brutish assaults. The materials weight and slashing capabilities do not help in this area either. However, its ability to maintain a distance when striking, as well as being used as a projectile helps to stab and entrap those ensnared by it's grips.

All the more useful when the enemy is distracted. Confusion slowly begins to take its toll the more exposure the enemy has with Kaijin. With the use of it's abilities and tactics employed from above, Kaijin continues to push the envelope of reality and illusion.

The Happy Joker is the name that is bestowed upon the weapon. What it seems to lack in brawn force, it makes up for it in versitility and range. When released from its bell form, the tiny object splits in half to create the two metal stakes. Four feet in length with a cylinder shaft, nearly represent ting itself as a large sowing needle. A crescent arch blade guard occupies a single side of bothers stakes, producing 3 five inch spikes along its surface. Each one evenly spread across the arches length. At the end of the stakes resides a small 5 inch ring that helps Kaijin to twirl the weapon around her wrist, and to better grip it when wielding it's end.

These are what make up the weapon itself, yet, the key design to the weapon is that of the 10 foot chain that links the two stakes together. A strong chain that emits a chime that strongly resembles that of the bell that it came from. The metal surfaces are polished to appear similar to that of a glassy shine, with the only color to the weapon are located at the grips, which are covered with a leather strap that encircles it several times so it does not slip off. But, before it is released, the sealed form of The Happy Joker is that of the Kaijin's Family Bell. Bronze due to old age, but still functional. Small enough for her entire hand to wrap around, and still chimes as clear as it was first made. This is tied around the woman's wrist as a bracelet.

"Welcome to ze Fun Houze."

Just as she was a Shinigami, Kaijin has never left the theme of fooling around with her adversaries. It is the habit of Illusionists to keep others on their toes. Even when not a Shinigami, her prowess in keeping her foes guessing continues on. As a Fullbringer, Kaijin plays a similar yet different game; this time bringing the thrill of the Fun House mirror. Not an actual mirror, but the concept of a mirror placed upon those that hear the chime of Kaijin's Fullbring. A chime that is emitted through the Fullbring's chain.

The frequency that is produced disrupts and reconfigure the sense of direction inside the mind of those that listen to it; or in other words it reverses the manner of how directions are perceived. Just like a fun house mirror, the world has been reversed. Senses, movement in a direction, and perception are all reversed. Left is right, up is down, front is now back. Every day to day aspect of directions has been shifted in the mind, which results in the events taken place. This does include when the affected person moves a body part.

When released, Kaijin's weapon emits a sharp frequency caused by the rattling of the chains. This frequency makes spreads in a radius of Kaijin that expands outwardly in a 20 feet range. This sound can be heard as it isn't a high pitch frequency, so it can be avoided. However, once heard, the mind begins to rewire itself and applies the said changes to all manner of senses, instinct, and Energy Sensory. This does no physical or mental harm onto an individual, merely changing their perception of direction.

This means that the individual themselves are still within the world that they are currently in, as only their brain is rewired to dictate which way is which. All normal sense of direction is immediately flipped in reverse. The world itself did not experience any change, only the mind has. The Inversed Mirror doesn't send people to an alternative world, as it only affects their mind. This is the reason why Kaijin can still be seen, heard, and detected normally. But when affected by the Fullbring, all sensory dictates that Kaijin is located based on what is seen.

For example, if an individal were to see Kaijin attack from the front, then really she is approaching from the back. So, if cut across the chest, then the wound would appear on the back instead. Including, if Kaijin was seen flying upwards, then in reality she is moving down. The same is said about her presence. If she is seen on the left side, then she will be felt on the left side. This is while one's perception is under the effects of the Fullbring. But, in reality Kaijin would really be seen and felt on the right side to those who are unaffected. This does include when moving around. As they under the Fullbring's trance, when moving the right arm, they are actually moving the left. When shifting to the left, they are really shifting to the right. Each sense of direction is completely reversed.

The real strength of this ability resides with its deception and capability in confusing those affected by it, leaving many confused as to which direction is what. However, like a mirror, Kaijin can correct the inverted world process, returning the senses to normal for a brief moment, for 100 reiatsu.

This process of correcting the sense of inversion is basically returning the affected individual back to normal for a moment. The result of paying 100 reiatsu acts a momentary reprieve from the ability, and restores the senses of those affected back to normal. Remember, that this only lasts for a moment.

This together keeps an individual on their toes. Yet, its weaknesses become apparent as time goes on. A well versed individual can adjust themselves accordingly when they fully understand how the ability operates. As stated before, the ability does not do any form of harm rather than changing an individual's perception. It does no mental damage that one has to be concerned with, nor any longing effects aside from what the ability does. This only lasts until the release has been exhausted.

Obviously, since this is caused by a sound based medium, the deaf are unaffected by the ability. Or, if capable of blocking the sounds from their ears, then that presents another method of keeping one self safe. Also, keeping out of the effected radius of the 20 feet is another method of keeping oneself safe. Because, when the ability strikes an individual, the effects will continue until the Fullbring ceases. Which is the same reason why Kaijin's allies must take precaution, as they are not immune to The Inverted Mirror ability.

But, when affected, it needs to be known that observant individuals can fight even when inflicted upon. Battle Analysis 2 or higher would help to recognize battle patterns, making it easier to fight. This works for Analysis too. Analysis 2 or more helps to recognize the ability of the fullbring. While not being able to detect Kaijin as easily as Battle Analysis, understanding how the ability operates does pose a significant leverage when trying to one's own mind, helping to keep calm while under the Fullbring's influence.

Illusion Resist arena Anti-Stealth help to rid the effects of the Fullbring. Though not entirely, they only help to serve as reducing the required sensory stats needed to see past the Inverted Mirror. Each rank in either skill reduced the requirement down by 50 each. Thus, if someone were to have a 1 in Anti-Stealth, and have Senses of 150, then it drops the requirement down to 100 instead to see past the illusion.

To add on, those with Instinct 150 and above can indicate when Kaijin is within 5 feet of them. Senses of 150 and higher can see through the illusion of the Fullbring. This does include 150 or over for Energy Sensory, as they are capable of detecting Kaijin.

While it with these two skills and abilities do help to fight when affected, it is with every rank in Stealth that makes it difficult to detect Kaijin. For every rank in Stealth, it increases the amount of sensory stats required to see or detect Kaijin through her Fullbring's illusion by 50 for each rank within the Stealth Skill. What Stealth aids Kaijin with is keeping the Fullbring ability effective. With the Skill Stealth, it serves to keep Kaijin's actual position much more difficult to locate. While under the influence of the Fullbring, Stealth keeps Kaijin's presence hidden while the reflected illusion remains more apparent and present than her real self.


Main Fullbring Level 2 Properties:

"Forget Me Not."

Possibly one of the more difficult abilities to fully muster, but when the conditions are present, then it can be truly a terrifying thing to face. Why? Because if it can not be seen, then how does one know that it exists? This is the second property of Kaijin's Fullbring. This ability utilizes the foe's own power against them. Not in the sense that it turns their powers or abilities against them to do harm. Instead, it blankets over Kaijin's own presence, erasing her from the mind against all senses of those effected by it.

If it can not be seen, then how can it be there? Unlike them he first property, this one is a bit more tricky to use. Firstly, light is required to be present. The reason for this is that this property uses light to muster the illusion. Yes, this an illusion. Light bounces off of Kaijin's weapon and is shined in the eyes of those around her. This light serves as the medium for the illusion to be cast. And indeed, it can be any source that emits around light, such around reiatsu, a flashlight, the sun or sun rays, the moon, etc.

Secondly, the first Fullbring property is required to be placed on the individual as well. The first property itself is of most importance as it serves as the foundation in which this property relies on. This is due to the indivual already entrapped within the confides of an illusion, and having a distorted perception of Kaijin. The targeted individuals MUST be under the influence of the first property for this to work.

Once both requirements are met, then all that is required is to leave the effected individual(s) sight. Out of their line of sight completely. Once this is done, then Kaijin's presence will be nulled completely. Her presence, reiatsu, smell, body, and any other trace of her being vanishes completely from one's perception . As if she was never there to begin with. This is the second property to the woman's Fullbring. This only leaves the question as to how is it done?

When looking a bit closer to the property itself, it very much like the first property; the Inverted Mirror. It applies the concept of leaving the one reflected in the mirror to be the only one to be recognized in the world. This is done via the light source and that of the first property. When affected by the first property, the mind has already been placed in a hypnotic trance that confuses and rewires the brain of it's sense of direction. This blankets the mind entirely with this effect, leaving it vulnerable to be fooled even further inside a false world that it has created.

Now this is where the light becomes necessary. Once the first requirement is fulfilled, the light becomes necessary to create a secondary illusion over the indiviual(s). The light itself isn't the trigger that activates the property, as it's purpose is to help transmute property's influence over people. What this influence is, is the presence and reiatsu if those around Kaijin. Not herself. Not only that, but it shines within the affected mind and paints it over with the presence of the people ot was used on. Essentially, Kaijin paints over her own existence with that of those around her. What triggers the property to activate is when Kaijin leaves the eye sight of the targeted people. This does include blinking too.

For example, if Kaijin were to use it on and Arrancar, then it would be the Arrancar's own reiatsu, presence, smell, etc, that it will only be able to identify. Not Kaijin's. Even if they were to look directly at her, she wouldn't be seen, felt, or heard. This also applies for groups. When in a group of people, the property utilizes the presence of others to blanket over Kaijin's to completely camouflage herself.

Forget Me Not is a very tricky ability to muster up, as it does require light, eye contact with the light, and the people to be already affected by the first property; the Inverted Mirror. When all has been done right, Kaijin is unable to be seen, heard, felt in any way, shape, or form, as this does include body heat, and the noise that she makes. A near perfect camouflage. Near perfect because this property does habe it's own drawbacks when using.

Kaijin can not use her reiatsu. Not like she can use it to use techniques or so, it is only if she uses reiatsu while the property is in effect, then the camouflage fails and the property immediately turns off. Thus making Kaijin completely visible again to the world. In order to keep the property functiona Kaijin can not use techniques that require reiatsu. If she does, then she can be felt, and if felt then the illusion of the property ceases to work, and will require Kaijin to start over again setting up the conditions, before using the property again.

Kaijin herself is still vulnerable in being hurt. Remember, that this property serves a the perfect camouflage, so it doesn't shield the woman against oncoming attacks. Once again, Kaijin isn't in another dimension. It is only those affected by the property that can not see or detect Kaijin, her presence erased from their sensory capabilities. Even though Kaijin can not be detected, she can still hurt people, and thus, be hurt herself.

While Kaijin may not appear in the perspective of those affected, in reality she is still present. Techniques or abilities that can act as a sonar can still pick up the woman's body. Such like Pesquis or other related techniques. And it is because of her erased presence, it does require 200 or over senses, and/or Energy Sensory to see past this propertys trick. Both skills in Analysis and Strength of Will will reduce the requirement by 50 for each rank in the skills. However, this also works for Kaijin in terms of having the skill: Stealth. From each rank in Stealth it increases the requirement to detect her by 50.

Altogether, when successful, Kaijin vanishes within the energy that is produced by those around her. Difficult to achieve if the subjects are blind or when the above conditions have not been met. Including, the ability does require a 300 reiatsu cost to maintain per post.

A symbol of Kaijin pushing forward into her life. The next step, the next chapter, a life that is filled with new possibilities. That is what the ring that the woman wears proudly symbolizes to her. When sealed, it remains in the form in which it was given to her. A special item of Marcus that is now treasured by Kaijin. For that reason it serves as the center piece of the secondary Fullbring. When sealed it retains itself natural shape, however, when released it expands in diameter by 5 times their average size. However, the pair of rings are able to expand when needed during their usage. When released, the rings take on a silver steel shade with a pair of single black rune markings that seems to cut the ring into four individual sections. And yes, these rings do float around Kaijin when released.

As humors as it sounds, it is what they do. When activated these rings operate in tangent of each other. Together, they forge a pathway that links one to the other. A spatial bring that can transport objects or people from one ring to the other. Serving to be help with a bit in tactics and strategy, weapons and techniques can pass through a single ring and come out from the other. A real simple use of what the rings can do, especially when wanting to keep distance, or transport individuals across areas. However, these rings can only do so within a certain distance. 15 feet is the maximum reach that the rings can transport objects or people through the rings. However, when passing through a ring, it is very possible for another to pass through the second ring. This causes traffic, which like any other form of traffic, the stronger of the two has the right of passage. The maximum space that these rings that these rings can fly away from Kaijin is 15 feet as well.

When a stronger influence passes through, such as a higher class or spiritual stat, then the other is blown away violently out their respective ring. This makes transportation easily predicable and can easily be countered. It is impossible to remain inside the rings as entering one will immediate transport them through the second ring. There is no lag between the transportation process. Yet, the rings speed is equal to that of Kaijin's speed, in addition, do require a 100 reiatsu to utilize and 50 to maintain per post.

{Chapter 1}

"Kajin. . . Kaijin Quinn is what her name will be." the woman speaks softly caressing the tiny new born in her arms. "Alright . . . Kaijin it will be then." the man carefully strokes the infants head with the back of his hand. The small child was born into a born a family of Carnies, or at least to be precise, a family of Illusionists. The father of the child was a re-noun Illusionist of the land of France who took a slave Japanese geisha as his wife. Due to the time of the middle ages, the foreigners were considered hostile because of the wars that the French is currently fighting on their borders. A loving, gentle, and devoted wife and mother, she passed on her skills and teachings to her daughter. As a woman and a geisha the child's mother instilled the little child with the teachings of a Japanese woman.

Kaijin at a young age was taught the difference between selling her talents and selling her body, selling to entertain and selling for pleasure. At the age of seven, Kaijin's mother and father introduced their young daughter to the life of an entertainer, a person who brings happiness, wonder, and beauty into the lives of the people around them. At first the young child didn't like the idea of being a lowly servant, but to be an artist.
"Papa, je ne veux pas en être un. "[Dad, I don't want to be one] the child complains. "Ma fille, il ya beaucoup à apprendre sur le monde. Et dans notre ligne de travail, il ya beaucoup d'art à découvrir, et encore plus d'espace pour croître po." [My daughter, there is much to learn about the world. And in our line of work, there is much art to be discovered, and still more room to grow in.] her father responds with a smile, covering his face with a white ceramic mask as the two approach the curtains. Behind there is a roar of people screaming and cheering, they beckon for the show to start.
"Car c'est ce que nous faisons qui s'aventure dans le monde de l'émerveillement et de l'art." [For it is what we do that ventures into the world of wonder and art.] was the last thing he man said before stepping onto the wide circular wooden stage, facing off against a three story auditorium filled with people. kaijin is led by her mother to the side of the stage to observe the male illusionist perform. It was with widen eyes that Kaijin saw the mysteries and inhuman abilities that her father had performed. Making himself vanish into thin air, levitating large elephants, and splitting his own body apart to only reconnect himself again. The precision and elegance that it took to maintain control over each wonderful act was unfathomable. It was a beautiful sight to beyond. "Maman, ce que je serai capable de faire ce papa peut faire?" [Mom, will I be able to do what dad can do?] the child looks up at her mother with a smile. "Yes. With hard work you too will be able to be like your father." the woman answers the child with a gentle smile of her own.

Kaijin took that image of her father into her heart, wanting to be like him to bring wonder and beauty into the lives of people. Every day in the old theater kaijin practiced for countless hours, training on her disappearing acts and maneuvering her body to the proper positions in strait jackets to escape. Tired and frustrated at her own slow progress Kaijin was enraged that she was not as gifted as her father. "Non, pas comme ça. Vous devez être plus calme et concentré. Prendre une étape à la fois." [No, not like that. You need to be more calm and focused. Take it one step at a time.] her father says in a strong firm tone, keeping his hands firmly planted on his hips. Angered by her father's response Kaijin storms off the stage running behind the curtains to the dirt courtyard at the back of the stone made building. With tears in her eyes Kaijin rubs her moist eyes to take away the fluid that is dripping down.

The small child comes to a complete halt from the sounds of shifting footsteps on the dirt floor. She turns her head to the right to see her mother performing a slow dance of the Four Seasons. Watching her mother move gracefully with a white fan in hand, Kaijin was captivated by the image of the slender white figure with each step that she took. Her body movements were alluring and seemed to flow from swaying motions of her arms down to the settle movements of her feet. Each step that was taken is small but meaningful. Kaijin's mother turns her head slowly to the side to look at her sweating daughter and without a word she rested her eyes to the spot next to her. Kaijin didn't hesitate to walk over to her mother's side, taking the same stance as the Geisha. Once Kaijin took her position the Geisha led her daughter step by step into each correct position, with her pursuing husband watching from the distance.

Kaijin trained along side her mother to be accurate with every move and to be patient. Even with her potential mistakes, it was this time with her mother that helped with Kaijin's training as an Illusionist. The movements of a graceful Geisha, kaijin was able to improve her abilities and patience to continue to train hard as her father's apprentice. It was only a year until her father decide to take the family show on the road. To save money and introduce Kaijin to more of the land and other talents, the family gathered their belongings onto a large horse carriage and took to the lands of France. As the war continued to rage in the lands, the father was careful to avoid areas affected by the war and poverty that it caused.

While traveling around the near the South-West kaijin was able to see more of her home at the same time practicing with the skills that had already learn. It was during their frequent stops to set up camp that Kaijin was able to continue her training alongside her mother, learning a bit more of her Japanese nature. Training alongside her mother, she was taught that each dance not only to reflect nature, but to express themselves, to be able to pour their own hearts into the art. By combining a part of themselves into their practice, they are able to make each dance their own to make the dance itself truly unique. This was also a good to learn more basic concepts of making illusions, such as alternating the perception of people to make an illusion. Kaijin couldn't wait to test herself in her father's next show.

Being able to camp inside cities made it possible to restock on supplies and to spread the joy and wonders of the world to other people. The family assemble a large red tent that expands into 40 yard radius and the height of 20 feet, with the help of some hired civilians. It would be the next day that Kaijin would be able to test her skills after two years of practice and training. The night of the show, the father presented his apprentice to the people of the city to show them the progress. The first act was her father's iron maiden technique. His wife would encase the man into a wooden box that is set on the wood stage and penetrated by ten swords from all angles. He would appear from another position after his wife reveals the stabbed box is empty. The crowd roars with excitement by the man reappearing as a member of the crowd. Several acts more will be done by the father until the last act that will be performed by the apprentice. Kaijin flips her way onto the stage from behind the curtains at a applauding audience, but some individuals among the crowd formed sour faces when they saw Kaijin's face. At the disappointment of what they saw those individuals left the crowd with scowling faces. Regardless, the show went on with Kaijin's act, the act of escaping from a strait jacket before falling into a pool of burning oil.

The crowd looked up in awe when Kaijin was suspended 15 feet in the air by her feet. The young apprentice spun her body around while twisting her tied legs, swinging back and forth in the air. Ten seconds had gone by until the apprentice was able to remove the strait jacket and swing herself away from the burning pool just before the rope snapped, dropping the rest of the rope into the burning oil. It was missed by a meer three seconds before the rope was cut to drop the young girl down. Applauding at the young girl's feat, the entire crowd rose from their seats to congratulate the two illusionists for a show well done. Kaijin had taken the first step into becoming a famous Illusionist herself.

{Chapter 2}

Spending two days of gathering supplies after the show, it didn't take long for Kaijin to realize the fact that the a lot of people saw her differently. It was the simple task of buying a basket of fruit that made Kaijin take notice of such cruel ideals. The young girl had finished purchasing the Cabbages that her family needed and was walking back to the wagon to meet with her parent until she saw the faces of those around her. "What a disgusting looking child. I can't belief that one of THEM is actually breathing the same air as us." a bearded man would say. "Why is their kind staying here?" another man whispers. "She may actually be witch. Be sure to stay away from their kind." a woman directs her comment to her child. With each comment that was said made Kaijin uncomfortable and wondered why they looked at with such contempt.

When Kaijin told her parents what had happened, they had explained to her about the situation that France was currently dealing with foreigners. She was even told about the circumstances that the mother had to endure when she was in slavery. Her father had freed her mother and took her as is own wife. It is due to the war that the French blame foreigners for the poverty and other problems that the country was facing. And it was the same reason why her mother is not able to perform out on stage during the shows, because of the fear that the people who are more for the war will take aggressive action toward her mother. But, it would be more safer for Kaijin to go out because she was half French as well, and her appearance shares both of her parents' native features.

At last it was time to leave the city to make their way farther West towards the coast. Of course, with the raging war that continued on toward the north and east, more people would be gathering at the coast in search of new land to escape to. But with many people trapped by the experiences that they have escaped from, they have brought the hunger of survival with them as well. The large horse rumbles as it was passing through crack gravel and rocks, Kaijin took a look out of the small wooden window to see groups people huddled together for warmth and to eat scraps of food. It was difficult to tell with the dirt and hair that covered their faces but Kaijin knew what she saw on them. The face of despair and horror. The young jester turned to her coughing mother who was curled up in a heavy blanket at the corner of the tight carriage. "Maman [mother], why can't we help these people." the child speaks. Her mother continues to cough heavily but her father speaks on behalf of his sick wife. "It is because we do not have enough supplies to help them. They have experienced horrors and have lost everything. If we stay to help, then many more will come to seek help as well." her father says softly while keeping his eyes focused on the dull road. "And if too many gather, then they will attempt to rob us while they look as pitiful as they can be. That is when we will be the ones who will suffer. People will do what can to survive, and sometimes they can not be trusted. Please remember that ma fille [my daughter]." speaking in a cautious but firm tone. Kaijin turned her head to continue her observation of the suffering people, and despite her fathers warning, she would vow to help as many people as she could.

It would be another five months until they would reach the next prospering city to which they need to find a doctor. Because of her being in a land that she is not native to Kaijin's mother contracted a disease that was potentially dangerous if not treated. Before it was a minor cough, which would turn into a high fever, then. . . expiration. Regardless of how long he would have to drive, Kaijin's father is determined to go through sleepless nights to get the city. But his wife would insist on keeping their usual pace. Despite his fears and warnings he would honor his wife's request to make frequent stops to rest. The Geisha took this time to finish the last of her lessons with Kaijin, who was deeply concern, teaching her that a Geisha must maintain her outer cover to avoid others from seeing her pain, and allow her movements when dancing to show her emotions. As if it were a dream the Geisha collapsed that night, coughing out blood. The red fluid stained the clear white snow that fell from the sky. The husband would hear his daughter's fright and would be at his wife's side for her last moments. It was then that the family was together under the dark sky of night, watching the snow fall and the full moon that shined. "Do not be afraid my daughter, for everything that I taught you would be my gift to you. Do not feel alone for I will always be with you. Each of your steps, with every dance, with. . .every . . . song that you sing. . I will be there with you." the pale woman struggles to say. The woman edges her face toward her husband to give him one last kiss, before opening her cold red lips to sing. The wind of that cold moon lit night carried her voice until it slowly faded into the darkness of night. Kaijin felt cold that night. Not from the snow or from the wind, but from the presence that was no longer there in her arms. She would promise to the silent night that she would continue her path to become a better magician and she would honor her mother with each movement she made on stage.

Four years from that long cold night, Kaijin had performed in at least four shows along side her father. Her skills as an illusionist and magician have grown to that of a intermediate level, but was still far away from her father. The two would continue to push their acts to more dangerous levels, like cutting the man in half with a sword while using a cloth to cover the wound and to reconnect his divided body by using the same table cloth. Each trick that was done was more dangerous than the last. It was something that her father had taught her. To push yourself to go higher than before while keeping the act basic to give it that "wow" factor. Kaijin kept that note in mind and decided to take their show to new heights. It would be a dangerous act to which only few skilled individuals have done, and a few have been killed, to fly through the air with nothing but rope handles. A thought that made her father very curious about and accepted, but only in the condition that Kaijin would be safe.

The fourteen year old girl would train in the near by woods, when the family carriage came to a stop for rest. Kaijin would spend the entire morning until night fall to climb ten foot trees and swing from branch to branch. Of course not every attempt would be successful since Kaijin would return with bruises on her rear, arms, and legs. But with each day of training that passed Kaijin would be better at it. She remembered the promise she made on the night of her mother's death, and everything that she had taught her. Kaijin would not rush her training but will take careful thinking when motioning her body in between each swing. Every move had to be precise. Each muscle would have to do its part, along with concentration, and deep focus in order to maneuver carefully during each swing. She would have to think as well while attempting each move, because if she made a mistake, then it will cost her the show and possibly her life.

Looking down from the fifteen foot branch, Kaijin was thinking to herself of how frightening it would have been to start off as a rookie, but since her father had trained her to handle heights, this would be a perfect task to test her abilities once again. Looking around at the other branches Kaijin found a branch was seemed sturdy and thick enough to support her weight and the force of her landing. So in one motion Kaijin took one leap off the branch with her arms out in front of herself to grab onto her target, wrapping her fingers around the thick wood. She had done it but the act was not over yet, she had to maintain her momentum. Using her legs together to kick her body weight forward and back, Kaijin was able to maintain her swinging speed. She continued with the motion until she was able to swing completely around the branch, flipping her from right side up to up side down. This was terrific. The sensation of this single was amazing but not as much as to her next swing. Timing it perfectly Kaijin releases her grip on the branch and uses her momentum and body weight to soar through the trees and onto her next branch. She couldn't believe that she was actually doing this. Kaijin was actually flying. It would another twenty minutes until Kaijin decided to change her movements in between swings. One of her maneuvers was tucking in her knees to her stomach and have her arms wrapped around her legs to form herself into a ball before taking hold onto another branch. Kajin was so happy at what was able to accomplish, so much that she her father allowed her to use the act in their next show. This form of talent would later be known as "The Trapeze."

Each show that was done had brought fame to Kaijin and her father. There acts of mischief and risk taking even earned them with the present King of France at the time. Kaijin would start the show for their guests of honor with her Trapeze act. She would not use ropes of any sort but the wooden rafters in the audience chamber to maneuver around. She had been getting better with her acts, especially the Trapeze. Kaijin even added the graceful dancing movements of a Geisha in between swings and before she went into her next swing. Something to offer to her dead mother. The King was thrilled to see such spectacular movements and acts, talents that took years to master. At the end of the show, the two would refuse the generous payment that the King would offer, believing that magic is something that all people have the right to see, the rich and the poor. In return for their generous act, the King would spread the word of two of France's finest Magicians.

But being well known throughout the land would make the two targets for those who would do harm. The night after performing for city in the South, the two magicians were gathering their belongings to leave at dawn. Her father was finishing with loading up the tent and had asked Kaijin to ready the horses. "Oui père [Yes father]." the young girl said eagerly. Kaijin rushes over the stalls one block away from the carriage to be approached by a mysterious young man. "Please help me. My brother is hurt and I can't move him on my own," the young man pleaded. Based on how he looked, he definitely looked like he was in trouble. His head was covered by a tattered brown cloth that showed a bit of his dirt covered hair. Mud and cuts ruined his once white complexion. Each piece of his brown clothes were either torn or littered with dirt. This man seemed like he came from one of those war torn areas of France. Kajin remembered what her father had told her about dealing with these types of people, so for caution she would get her father to come help. "No no no, please. If I don't get back to him now. He would surely die." the man drops to his knees whimpering at the young jester. Kaijin had her concerns about dealing with him, but at the same time the man reminded her of the groups of people who were on the dirt road, when her family was in a warm carriage. She told herself that she would help whoever she could and besides, he does not want supplies, just a little help. So Kaijin would follow the man through an alley way and around another two buildings.

The man led her to what looked like a clearing behind two buildings, where she saw another man laying next to a crumbled old house. The two rushed over to the laying man until Kaijin felt something slammed to the back of her head. It hurt like hell but was not enough to knock her out. Dazed and confused she saw the man who was laying on the ground stand without any difficulties. "Wow, you foreigners sure are stupid. I can't believe you actually fell for something like that. 'Oh please help me, oh please' hehehehe." the young man that led her would laugh. Her head still hurt, so Kaijin was not able to stand but merely observe what they would do next. The other man would kneel above her head and turn the still paralyzed jester on her back. He grabs onto her wrists and holds her down tightly to the ground, slowly licking her cheeks to the slim neck. The other man would kneel on top of her ankles so Kaijin would not be able to kick. "Oh madame, we are going to have fun tonight. I have never done it with a foreigner before but I bet you still taste good, even if you are filthy." Her head was still a bit hazy but she could still process what they were saying and what they were doing. This was frightening and didn't want to be there. She could feel her red jester shirt slide up, exposing her bare white chest for the animals to see. The man on her legs cupped her bare breasts while his brother began to suck on them. Kaijin screamed in defiance as the two had their way with her, attempting to kick and squirm her body away from the two men. They were feeling each natural curve of her body, taking their time to enjoy the flawless skin that will soon be ravaged. "You have a nice scream madame. Mais écoutons vous criez dans le plaisir [But let us hear you cry out in pleasure]." the brother would say licking his lips at sight of her groin area. The leading man would follow his brother's gesture by tearing off the cloth that covered her lower region, while he unbuckled his own pants. Kaijin cried out in complete terror and helplessness, screaming as loud as she could hoping that someone would hear to help her. He slowly adjusted himself toward the jesters groin letting the moment stall to savor the young woman's cry for help. "Time to say 'ah." he would laugh before a fire bolt slams directly at the back of the man's head.

A barrage of fire balls are hurled at the two men, pushing them away from the helpless woman. From the shadows in between the two buildings Kaijin's father emerges throwing cards as if they were knives. Each card combusts into balls of fire as soon as they leave his hands. The flaring lights that they produced were strong enough to keep them at bay while he lifts his daughter to her feet. Kaijin uses her torn robes to wrap her chest and groin area as she watches her father due justice on the rapists. It took about ten minutes until the night patrols arrived to arrest the group. Kaijin's father was able to explain what had happened and with their connection to the King, the two member family were able to be released. "Alright, you two are free to go." the guard says to the two prisoners as he opens the metal door. "Merci. I just need to make sure my daughter is fine." the father says tending to his curled up daughter. The guard approaches the two, kneeling down to place his hands on the shoulders of the daughter. Her eyes widen and scurries away from the guard until her back is pressed against the wall. The father lets out a heavy sigh with eyes filled with sorrow. He approaches Kaijin cautiously and lifts the poor girl up to escort her to the carriage. "Je suis désolé ma fille ." the father says with sorrow in his throat.

Kaijin remained in a fetal position in the creaky carriage for the next three days. The thought of nearly being raped by the people she was trying to help disturbed her spirit. How can they put on a mask of emotions to fool her? To fool her to just lure her away from her father in order to do such a terrible act. To think that there are probably more people out there who are just like them terrified her. Every curve of her body was violated by those men and her purity itself was about to be taken. People scare her, they had masks that cover their true intentions, so she needed one of her own. But what kind of mask can she have. The carriage hit a sudden dip which knocked over some small bottles off the counter in front of the frighten girl. Kaijin took the bottles in hand to find out that they were her mother's makeup kit. The same makeup that she had used to finish her Geisha face paint. The curious child dug around inside the carriage to find a reflective hand mirror to apply the face paint onto herself. Using the white paint to cover the entire surface of her face, Kaijin was sure that each portion, every edge of her face was covered. Once the face mask was finished, she drew markings with a black ink. Drawing a tear drop of under her right tear duct, to represent her suffering and the sorrow she feels. And draws a tribal star shape around her left eye socket to represent the heavens that her mother is hopefully watching her from. Her other eye was traced by the black ink to form a black outline. It was this moment that Kaijin was able to see the mask that she had made, the mask that formed the identity known as "Harle." Yes, a name that will protect who she is until the right people come. It will be this name that the people around her will know her as, at least until they have earned her trust to know her real name.

{Chapter 3}

Harle's father had taught her what she needed to know to survive. It was long before the war was driven near the capital of France, which made the people more desperate for supplies in order to survive. They were passing by through an area that was ravaged by a battle. The people were driven to killing and stealing in order to survive. The old fashion survival of the fittest was taking place near the center of the country. With the land nearly consumed by chaos, the carriage was overrun by thieves and people who were looking for supplies. The father was able to secure a little bit of money along with some personal items, including the two decks of cards, smoke bombs, the two drapes, and flash bombs. Her father had managed to teach her how to make these items. He even taught Harle some survival techniques, like lock picking and pick pocketing. Harle was able to escape the raid at the cost of her father's life. He was able to distract them long enough for Harle to sneak through a secret door at the floor inside the carriage.

Her father ignited the explosive compounds inside the carriage to cause an explosion that killed the raid group and himself, leaving Harle on her own. Harle was able to make a grave at the site for her father and for those who were responsible for his death. Her mother believed that the people who had their fates changed by man should not be judged, because they are trying to keep their families and themselves alive, just like she need to do now as well. She couldn't remember when was the last time she had to cry, probably since her mother died, but either way, she had to live on so that their memories will carry on. From there on out, Harle only did and took what she needed to survive. Pick pocketing was the best way for Harle to take money, of course she was not the best at first but with a little practice she was able to perfect it. It was not hard to find people to practice on since she would normally do it when the people are distracted by her magic tricks. Whether it is a vanishing or a illusion, when they are distracted, that gives Harle a perfect opportunity to reappear from behind and dig into their pockets. Even better when she uses a screen of smoke to blind the people and cover her movements. She doesn't do this to do harm to the people, only to take what she needs to live.

Harle continues this method of living while maintaining her shows during her travels around France. After all, without her father or the carriage that had all the knowledge and equipment to do a proper show, Harle had to think on her feet. When a festival would take place inside of a town or city Harle would use the decorations, the buildings, and wood posts that she can use for her Trapeze acts. Lights, attention, and action. Up high on the top of the clock tower Harle had tied some of the lanterns to the top of the tower to light her introduction. "Mesdames et Messieurs. Je serai le divertissement de ce soir" [Ladies and gentlemen. I will be tonight's entertainment]! The crowds below gaze upon the odd figure that stands on top of the tower. Harle pulls out two ball shaped objects that begin to release smoke. A moment later the figure vanishes to reappear sitting on a ten foot wooden pole, chuckling at the reaction of the people below. The Jester would then use the wires that are tied between houses to walk on and swing like they were swings. Moving swiftly from building to building it would seem as if she was flying. As for the last trick Harle would encase herself in a wall of fire by using the sparkling cards to ignite the wooden pole that she was currently on. Dropping the burning card on the wood, the entire pole was consumed by the flames, devouring the Jester with it. When the audience saw the woman consumed by the fire, the blaze suddenly blew into smoke, allowing Harle to appear behind the crowd, kicking her legs while laughing onto top of a building. The people turned around in astonished that the woman survived the situation. And with one bow Harle took her leave, but it would not be long until several people found out that some of their money was taken. Harle did this to nearly every city that she had visited, to the point where the people have posted a warning to avoid the Jester that was referred to as "The Enigamatic Illusionist."

Harle was known for being a thief that is nearly impossible to catch since does not stay in one place for very long and avoids close contact with other people. However, there was a rumor going around that she does get close to children, especially the ones that are orphans or alone. The Jester has maintained this life style for the next nineteen years at the age of thirty-four. She particularly does not like people getting close to her to avoid the incident of being raped again, but does not mean she does not like children. Harle was alone now, so she knows what it feels like to have no one around. The jester would give the money to the children in need. After all, she was easily able to get more money if she needed to. This way it would give the children a chance to live a better life. That was all she could hope for. But, it also gave Harle the opportunity to cheer them up with a little wonder of the world. She knows that it will never be to replace the loved ones that they lost, but she can at least help to raise their spirits.

At the age of 34, Harle was finally caught by the government. They had used a festival and children to lure her to an opening, where she would be unable to use her tricks. That and the fact that Harle was injured with a stab wound to her ribs. The government was able to persuade a child to carry out the action with a deal, Harle couldn't blame the child. War has forced everyone in the land to commit a crime which they would not be proud of. The of someone who was altered by human hands, so how could she hold onto anger for a child, that was not Harle. She was no longer able to keep running. Nearly dragging herself into a dark alley Harle sat down for a moment to rest. "Maybe. . I should close my eyes. . Juste pour un moment [Just for a moment]." Even with sounds of guards running around and screaming, it was a peaceful night. She turned her head to look up at the night sky to see a full moon. It reminded her of her mother, her father, it was so beautiful. Maybe. . just maybe. . a little sleep will help. For a single moment Harle felt true peace.

{Chapter 4}

Or maybe not. The end to journey is the beginning of another one. Being a spirit was not too bad since she was able to jump farther then anyone else now and phasing through walls is ubber cool. It didn't really bother Harle as much as it would do for other people, but to see her homeland being destroyed was something that put a hole in her stomach. So many children left behind because of a stupid war over land. It has cost the lives of countless people from different countries. War has never sat well for Harle since the very idea of a person's fate being altered due to human hands was beginning to sound stupid to her.

Harle saw first hand of how war was fought. Sitting on the roof of a chapel while a city was burned to the ground. Soldiers impale each other with their swords, firing cannons at the buildings that would crush the people below. It was sickening to watch them kill each other. In the pits of her very own soul Harle could feel a rush of anger and sadness. She didn't want to see any more of this, so she fled the battle field. But before leaving Harle found a group of children who were hiding inside the chapel. Harle floated down to see if she can lead them away from the raging battle. Wait. She was a spirit. How can could children see a spirit? Didn't matter, she had to do something before these children were killed. But that moment of hesitation gave enough time for a stray cannon ball to hit the chapel crushing everything around the area with the falling rubble. Harle couldn't see if the children were all right, but as soon as the dust settled all she could she were the tiny hands that were peaking from beneath the ruins of the chapel.

It was not fair for innocent people to pay the price for the mistakes of others. The sight of the crushed children infuriated Harle to the very core of her soul. It was then that she felt something snap inside of her. The world around her seemed to fade away, slowly turning black. "Ce qui est. . ce qui m'arrive [What is. . happening to me]?" Harle felt that she was stuck in that dark world for a few minutes, but when she came to the battlefield was littered with the bodies of soldiers. She was standing in the middle of field of bodies with their blood staining the floor. Looking around she saw that her hands were stained with their blood. What on Earth happened here?

The very thought that her hands were covered in blood was . . unthinkable, but the fact was there. The Jester spent her years wandering around the war torn land, simply observing the events of the war and the changing times. It would be a hundred years before Harle would be able to find a way to the other side. But during those years Harle was able to due justice on those would harm the innocent. She would not kill them, just simply make them regret that they did those terrible acts on the innocent. Setting their houses on fire or just making their large sums of money disappear was fun. It took a long time to be able to able to make contact with the children since she wanted to be sure that they had a opportunity to live freely. Even in death Harle was able to watch over them and be able to provide some entertainment while she wandered.

"Bonjour, my name iz Harle. Quel est le votre [What is your's]?" the jester would say floating in front of a group of children. If they were able to become aware that she was there then they would be able to see her. This was how Harle is able to make contact with the people around her, even when she was a spirit. Once the children were able to see her, Harle would entertain them with her illusions. Having to be able to see their smiles was truly a gift that Harle wanted to see for so long. Finally, after the years of fighting and death, there was still some hope that happiness would return to her homeland. It was once the children had hope and the means to live peacefully is when Harle would leave them to find another group of children to help. This is what Harle was doing during the century remaining in the world of the living.

The Jester thought that she had seen everything that the world had to show her, but she was wrong. Few times she had seen some mysterious creatures that wore white masks attacking people, however, no matter how much these things attacked no one would see them. This puzzled the Jester making her believe that like her, they must be spirits as well. But even if they were similar to her, they appeared to be dangerous to be around. In fact that her thought was made true because one of these creatures actually tried to take a bite out off her. Easily enough these things were avoidable without much trouble. They were persistent, but single minded, which made them easy to out maneuver, especially with Harle's tricks, they could even scratch her. Just like animals to only think about their stomachs, it truly was a pity. But it seemed as though that Harle would have attracted the attention of another type of being. A being called a Shinigami. "I have been observing you miss, and I believe that you could do some good with your talents." the young man said softly. Of course, since this Shinigami was a man Harle could hardly take him serious. She had been fooled once, and never again will she be easily mislead.

Harle had her suspicions about this so called Shinigami, but she was not given much choice since these creatures were coming in swarms this time. Without hesitation the Shinigami entered battle with these white creatures, swinging his sword left and right. He danced around these simpletons without much effort. The man beheaded the beast to his left then to his right. It was not long after that three more individuals with the same attire joined the brawl. One of them was female and she was the one that approached the stunned Jester with a note in hand."The Lieutenant wanted me to give you this to take with to the Soul Society. When you arrive just show the gate keeper this letter. He will let you into the Seireitei. I don't know why, but the Lieutenant believes that your abilities will help the Soul Society. If you want to make a real difference in this world, this is the way to do it." the young woman would say giving Harle the letter, before she whacked Harle on the forehead with the butt her sword. In single moment a column of light would envelope the Jester, taking the woman to a land that she was not familiar with. All she knew was that Harle was no longer in France.

{Chapter 5}

It was not like Harle was lazy or anything, it was just that these classes were so boring. Furthermore, Harle was not particularly thrilled sitting so close and being next to so many people. The Jester had spent about nearly three centuries retaking classes in the Academy because she kept missing classes. Each class was nearly the same. Remedial lessons on history, Hollows, the Zanpakuto, the duties of the Gotei 13, and the rules. Then, it would lead into sword training and physical workouts. After the all the sweating that needed to be done, the classes that were next would be Kido training and spiritual control. Each subject had it's own class for it, which Harle spent two centuries going through each Academy year for the first time, then retake the Academy because she missed the final examinations.

Kendo - It was alright for the first hundred years but it got to be tedious after that. Breathing exercises and the different methods of properly handling of a Zanpakuto were the first steps. This was fairly easy even for the rookies that were first starting off. Each person would team up with another class mate to practice. This didn't fare so well during her first time and was harder the second since most of the males would try to partner up with her, this didn't go so well. Harle decided to partner up with the closet female was near by her. Most didn't disapprove of partnering up while others did not like teaming up with her. It was this time that Harle had received her Zanpakuto but for some reason it was smaller than every one else. She didn't complain about the size, in fact, she was happy that it was as small as this. Only the size of a large dagger, her straight edge sword was a perfect fit since she trained with daggers for most of her life, but not to kill. Instead of handling her blade like a sword, she just handled it the way she was more comfortable with. Holding the small blade in her right hand Harle reversed the handle so the blade tip pointed toward the ground. Yeah, this felt just right, like home.

Kendo - Fighting - It was a simple fact that Harle lacked the tenacity to engage an opponent directly because well. . she is a young woman after all and she has a slender build, so to speak. During the fighting portion of her years Harle was able to get a better grasp of the different styles that her opponents would use. The slow would use overpowering strength to flatten her. This was not going to happen, so Harle relied on speed to run around them and her acrobatics to evade their slow moving attacks. The swift opponents who use speed to fight Harle who retreat and use her blade to redirect the flow of momentum from each of their attacks. Since Harle's speed is fair enough to keep up with theirs. The French woman preferred this method of fighting since she is more better defensively rather offensively with her blade. So, in order to fight in this particular method Harle would combine her sword fighting with a bit of circus martial arts to land hits on her opponents. Fairly simple tactic that other Shinigami who were as physically weak as herself, but it showed results. It was this style of fighting that helped with her defenses while later on her style would grow once she went through Kido training.

Until that she was those classes Harle would have to stay focused on her movements. The Jester would watch the other Shinigami in her class maintain the same Kendo stance, which was both boring and easy to read. For when it was time for Harle to show her stuff, it would be time for her to put on another show. Taking her blade in hand, Harle would be shifting her hips from side to side slowly in order to build a rhythm in head to follow. At a first glance it would appear to be unorthodox since her body would be moving to quiet atmosphere of the room, but gave the Jester the results that she was looking. When her opponent thought she was going to move to the right, Harle shifted her body weight smoothly to the left allowing the momentum and her movements to flow natural. That and the occasional cartwheels and flips did add a little flash and confusion into the mix of the sparring match. This was what Harle would use to fight almost any potential opponent that would try to get close. Manipulate and distraction were essential for any magician.

This was a pain because she had to sweat so much during physical and sword training. She knew the reason for it but Harle was already fit enough to out maneuver any student within the Academy. The only classes that had sparked her interest were the Kido classes. Learning these spells was actually kind of fun for her. After all, Harle lived for magic and Illusions. However, it was that subject and learning the Hoho movements that made things flow quickly in the Academy. Spending so many years repeating the Academy Harle had even earned the reputation for being the oldest student within the Academy, even if her appearance didn't match it.

Remedial Lessons - Ugh, they are a complete bore as she said it before. History was something that Harle was never good at and still stunk at it. Why does she need to know the history of this world, in fact, her attire alone was the history of her homeland, give or take at times. Everything would seem like another day of juggling in class but what caught her attention were the Hollow instruction lessons. Well, these classes did explain a lot about what those creatures were. Harle felt a twinge of sadness to find out that they were once human spirits that have gone mad. This reminded Harle of the children and her moment of blacking out. A scary thought indeed. To become one of those things was a terrible fate and the only way to save them was to eliminate them. Harle understood the concept what a Shinigami was meant to do and come to agree with how things have to be done, even if she didn't like it. There was not much more that she needed to understand. Besides, if she didn't do her duty then the innocent will be harmed by these Hollows. She has seen what they were capable of and how merciless they can be to anyone, living or dead.

Kido Training - Now this was something that Harle could get behind. Truly, who does not like magic. To be able to summon bolts of lighting and fire was awesome to witness. She even seen a Instructor summon a massive tidal wave from a stone made ground. Harle couldn't help but to show her excitement with her constant bouncing while standing in place. She couldn't wait to get started. This was where Harle began to converse more with other guys, but still maintained her distance for obvious reasons. The Jester got almost too close to one man and he tried to put his lecherous hands on her hips, trying to cover his actions by say "Oh, you need to level out your posture in order to secure yourself." Really? That was obvious since you didn't want to get blown away by the recoil of the spell, and besides, he could have just shown her at a distance instead of trying to cope a feel. He was the first person that Harle used Restrain on. Her first Bakudo. It was pretty funny watching him hog tied and rolling around on the ground. This was something that Harle was going to like tremendously.

The instructor had also talked about reiatsu control, manipulation, and the amount necessary for each spell. These were the areas that Harle payed special attention to, since magic is her subject which she excelled quickly. She had previous training with body movements and maintaining her focus. The incantations are what tripped up the French woman a lot but nothing like a little rehearsal to further better an act helped with its progress and understand its dynamics. Incredibly there was so much to learn about Kido, but Harle didn't want to stick to magic, it was too simple and limited her fighting style. So, how was she going to apply her movements to what she knows in Kido training. Harle was able to become proficient with reiatsu focus and manipulation rather quickly than other students. Being a magician does have its perks in other areas. Looking back at the man that she used Restrain on was an idea. To limit her opponent's movement with several layers of bindings, which would increase her own ability to move freely and use larger spells seemed like a good idea. Her fast pace movement and maneuvering were areas she excelled in and she prefers to not hurt people, so this makes it a good opportunity to have an enemy surrender before she decided to wail on them.

Out of most of her subjects Harle focused more on her physical movements and binding spells. Using the spell separately from the incantation would weaken its effect but will provide some time to use an incantation for a stronger binding to place on top of her enemies. It was the Kido classes that helped Harle put her fighting style into perspective which allowed her to fight as a real Shinigami. However, she still lacked the firepower to really dish out damage. What more could there be instead of sword fighting and spells? How can Harle use her abilities to actually fight an enemy properly.

Didn't take very long to find the answer when she learned more about the Zanpakuto. This very weapon that Harle had tied to her waist actually had a spirit of its own. That was breathtaking. Her weapon actually has a mind of its own along with its own personality. She couldn't wait to meet her new partner. This was perhaps the very solution that was looking for. They say that the Zanpakuto spirit is actually the manifestation of someone's inner soul. Not only that the Zanpakuto is a being of its own but it can continue to grow along side its Shinigami counter part. The two are able to grow together to become stronger. Harle and her new friend could probably go do some magic or maybe come up with new tricks. It was going to be fun. Her Instructors have explained to the her class that the more time a Shinigami spends with their Zanpakuto the more of a bond that they form, which can lead into other forms known as Shikai, the first release, and Bankai, the true release. Each form possess its own unique ability that grows and has its own set of techniques, but that will up to the Shinigami to figure out. This is so exciting, Harle could not wait to meet her new partner.

However, because Harle spent so much time with her training she potentially continue to miss classes and exams, which ended up forcing her to retake the Academy years over and over again. Each time Harle had to redo the Academy the instructors were forced to place her under a special curriculum since Harle had already mastered the basics. The Jester found it to be truly funny how each instructor would make her test's even harder than the other students. They even had a hard time to make her take written tests because she would always disappear in the beginning of class. The chase wouldn't last for long since they are more experienced at Shunpo than she was. But she made sure that she gave them a run for their money. Even if Harle didn't care about the written examinations, she would pass with flying colors during the practical exams. "Alright Miss Quinn. Instead of a lower class Kido, give me something above a class seven." the proctor would order in a firm voice while the rest of the class observed. Using a basic Hado for someone who went through the Academy several times before would be too easy, so it was natural that they would give her something more difficult. It would not the first class that she had to take it a step further from the rest of the students in her year. Harle would place one palm over the other while aiming her hands at the distant target in front of her. She remembered what the Instructor had said about casting spells and that certain spells would have special requirements. So with that thought in mind and focusing her reiatsu into her palms Harle would call out to her casting spell. "Sprinkledon zhe bones of zhe beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fillz the empty castle! Hado #63: Raikōhō." The Jester would speak as a stream of blue lighting bursts from the woman's hands and incinerates the target. This probably was the first time that Harle actually nailed that technique, but damn does it drain the hell out of her. Guessing it worked since she kept her mind focused this time while using the sufficient amount of energy needed to do, but still she needed more practice with it to get it right.

The thing happens in each class that has taken. Learning how to do Shunpo was the easiest but it came to her as a mistake in sword training. When she figured how the technique was done, it was only a matter of time until she was able to use it proficiently. That could also be said about Shunkasso. Gliding was more better than an individual movement with blinding speed, but eh, she will take what she can. Hands on martial arts training was a pain, and every year was more of a pain than the last. Harle had to redo her makeup several times because of all the sweat and not to mention staying away from all of the males too. They think that they are smooth and hot stuff because they hit on her almost every chance they got. The whistling and name calling didn't bother her at all. But Harle knew better that it was her well sculpted body was what they wanted, not her. It didn't fare so well for those that called her a freak as well. Just like when she was a child and the other French people didn't accept the Japanese side of her. And just like with those people who judged her before they got the chance to know her, Harle simply stayed away from them until they wanted to talk maturely.

Harle loved to socialize with other people because she is an entertainer. So the it comes with the job. That and trying to maintain her training as well. She may have kept in the Academy much longer than any other of the other students, but hey, she can't complain when the basics continued to get jammed into her head. It has given her the opportunity to actually see how far she has come from the first time that was at the Academy. When her Instructor was talking about Zanpakuto spirits during class, Harle was already able to venture in the inner world for a short time. She has even heard a voice coming from her Zanpakuto. A cute little female voice that almost sounds like a mouse talking. She couldn't see it but she can definitely that it was her Zanpakuto spirit since no one else appears to be able to hear it. This was definitely frais [cool]. It would be a little while longer until she is able to see her spirit friend and be able to venture into her own little world. That would be an experience, but for now she would have to go back to the supposed barracks. Yeah right.

The same can be said when they thought that she will being living in the barracks. Yeah right. Staying with strange people in a narrow closed space where she would not be able to maneuver around, that was not going to happen. Instead Harle made took up residence inside the storage warehouses in the supply area within the Seireitei. No one really goes by there or checks it unless it is for an inspection or when they needed something. Harle is able to hide very well in tight spaces, but it does hurt her chest a lot. Having somewhat of a big bust does have its ups and downs. Didn't really matter. Harle was getting so fed up with the training and classes that she was even planning to leave, but one day when she was making her way to class, she overheard a special group were actually heading to the world of the living to do a special mission. Squad Two if she was correct, and based on the other things that she heard, they pull a lot of weight and special operations too. This group sounded like a opportunity to go to new places that has never been to. And possibly provide a chance to visit the world of the living. This was something that Harle had to see for herself, so this time she decided to take her Academy days serious. A brand new stage would await her when she passed.

On the day before her graduation, Harle filled out the necessary paperwork to transfer to Squad Two. Her history from the Academy, her skills, and her abilities were all accounted for. Harle would have at least one final exam before she would be able to pass the Academy. Since she was a more experienced trainee in the Academy she was sure that her test would be more difficult than anyone else. But it didn't matter. Harle was set on graduating and to finally be able to get out of this place. After two centuries of being stuck in this place, Harle would be able to join the Gotei 13 ranks. It was time for her show to begin, and she would make it a good one.

{Chapter 6: Rising Up}

She never thought that being a Shinigami would be easy. It was a tireless duty that required vigilance and growth. Starting out as a Lieutenant for Squad 2, Kaijin already knew that there was going to be tons of work compiled for her, especially of the rumors of it's infamous Captain, Kenryoku Kawada. Stern and cold, the man was as calculative as he was frozen in the spirit. Despite this, he taught the woman much about the world around her, and what dark secrets it held within it. Action was required in much of her line of work as an assassin of Soul Society. Following the orders provided to rid those who would do their world harm, and those would seek to disrupt the balance of the World of Living, and the Spiritual Realms.

Under the man's tutelage, Kaijin learn how to operate in the shadows. Developing a stern mindset, and unwavering conviction, the woman grew into her rank as second in command of the squad. This was the most important aspect when it came to leadership. For what she didn't know was the apparent death of the squad Captain. Before his untimely departure, Kaijin was learning how to operate as a Lieutenant, and as an individual. As her rank, she had to determine the strength of her comrades, and maintain the stability of the squad. Often testing and assisting them in training, and leading field operations, the french woman took it upon herself to lead while their Captain grew ever more absent. Time and the list of duties slowly grew to overwhelm the young woman, for which reason she visit the World of the Living often.

Marcus was the only real man whom she ever had constant contact with. Both in and outside of Soul Society, of all those she conversed with, it was Marcus that made her feel as she was before her time as a Shinigami. Meeting under the tent in which both were familiar with, the two began their time together. From strangers to friends, they became closer and closer with each moment spent together. A time in which Kaijin felt like herself instead of being Harle. He provided the comfort that only a special person could have. An individual that her mother spoke highly of. It may have been infatuation that had Kaiji pursue the man, but either way, it was a choice that she would never come to regret.

Marcus gave the woman a sense of purpose outside of being a Shinigami, and strengthened her resolve as one as well. The amount of success that she had as a Shinigami meant safeguarding his home. She had more reason to protect. With the death of Kenryoku Kawada, Kaijin was forced to step up to that of Captain. Her new position had more responsibility that her previous station. Responsibilities that she was well aware of, but didn't mean that she felt ready for. It didn't matter. She had to, for those that served along side her, including the man who she sought to protect.

As Captain, much of the woman's passions had to be restrained. Keeping herself to match the image of what a Captain was suppose to be, Kaijin had to steel herself, along with her resolve. Games and jokes were only a hinderance to the role of a Captain, acting to serve as a proper example for her comrades to follow. It wasn't easy to do as her station had little room for mistakes. Kaijin had to maintain a certain image when portraying a Captain. But, only when she went to visit Marcus, none of that mattered as only the time with him was all she cared about. A wonderful dream that she hoped she wouldn't have to wake up from. However, she knew all too well that she had remained in that dream, then there was a possibility that he would end up hurt because her lack of responsibility to her station. To her role as the Human World's Guardian. This was her conflict, which ended with her leaving.

A conflict of interest; to protect him by serving as a Shinigami Captain, or to remain at his side as his partner. The two in constant struggle.

{Chapter 7: Uprising}

She thought the days of Soul Society wouldn't have changed in her time of service. Though there were times that insurrectionists had to be put down, along with those who rebelled and plotted the end of Soul Society. Yet, nothing had prepared Kaijin what came from the shadows. The appearance of Arrancar's within the walls of the Seireitei. No alarms were triggered as they waltzed into their territory unchallenged. How did they get in? It was an impossible task unless they had help from within. And though their assault was brief, the fact remained the same; there was a traitor within Soul Society. For that reason Kaijin investigated the matter alone.

With no one to trust, it seemed that all became a potential suspect. Squad 7 and the others couldn't have been trusted. The Police for all she knew was in league what what occurred. Then there was that of the Kasumi'oji Family. The rumors of their underground dealings and trafficking. Those who could have access to the information traffic and gates were also suspects. There was literally no one whom she could have faith in aside from Kisala Shihoin and that of Souza Kuichiki. Too many suspects and few to trust. It was then that Kaijin had to look for more allies, even if they were the unlikely sort. Many of her suspicions and theories were documented and sent to Souza Kuichiki, and all the while he would sort through them the Captain took upon herself to recruit.

Venturing to the World of the Living, she managed to track an unusual sort. A Vizard. A terrible battle was waged shortly after encountering the individual, much to the Captain's loss. It seemed that despite once being a Shinigami, the Vizards had their own sense of code and methods. And while their strength would have been a great asset, just as the Vizard himself had thought of; they were simply too dangerous. Thus, it resulted to what would later come to be known as the Kawada Invasion. With little time to act, and limited resources, Kaijin made her way to the heart of the Kawada Lands.

Pushing forward, she saw the troubles and issues that plagued their people. Filth and despair were constant in the lower rankings of their people. It was usual for such efforts to be made, but the conditions were horrid. It became more than needing to protect Soul Society. Further along she entered into Kawada territory to be joined by Souza Kuichiki, whom informed the Captain that Sozen Kuichiki, his father, intended to use his position to claim the Kawadas. The darkness was become more and more clearer by each step they took towards the Head House of the Kawadas. More so when Kiname Kawada revealed himself. The ploy of his, and that of the Elder Council, to be consumed by the Kuichiki to later grow themselves was all one plan. The words of Jinbei Kawada echoed in the back of her mind.

The blood soaked battle between herself and the man only revealed that the family was ready to wage another revolution against Soul Society. This was what forced Kaijin's hands to act against them, to take over before someone else could enact their plan. With the conditions that Kiname had set for the Captain, it was used to better benefit both parties. Facing against the masked mercenary, Douma, and those among the Kawada ranks on her way to the Elder Council. It was fierce journey for the woman. One that ended in failure. Much to her dismay, Kaijin could only make the decisions that would weaken Soul Society for a time, but later strengthen it as well in time. Still, she only wished that she could see it happen with her own eyes.

Kaijin's defeat at the joint hands of the Kawadas and that of Captain Himitsu, there could only be one result to come of her actions. A public execution. After days spent in prison, Kaijin was set. But so was the plan of those that remained loyal to the woman's cause. Though limited in numbers, Tsunami acted in the defense of their previous leader. Those whom the woman led and fought along side as equals, with respect and strength, fought for the woman. Sanshou, or Chinese Kickboxing, is a free style fighting style that consists of close range and successive punches and kicks. Freely moving the body without restrictions and serving as a foundation to build upon, though, it is through Judo that Harle maintains control of her proximity. In overall performance Judo's influence in this fighting style allows for fluid counters by using hip and throwing techniques in conjunction with it her own body weight. But it is Harle's specialty in Taekwondo that allows the girl to deliver the consistent power that drives this fighting style. Not being too keen with hand to hand, Harle resorts to using her feet to combat. Altogether, the portions of three styles are joined to maximize movement for maximum efficiency with minimum strength.
