OOC: Going for CTP.
Everything was quiet. The noise that was there before was no longer there. The land was bustling with wildlife around as it should. The waters remained clean and filled with the life that resided within it. But the noise that filled it once before was no longer there. The fluttering and force in the water was still, calm, not like before. Something was wrong. The current within the lake wasn't the same, and became more apparent as the days went by. Nothing was as it should have been. Ippin could feel it in her bones.
The Naga was the one who brought her to this place. That Reptile introduced the Cecaelia to the patrons that resided at the location. Few in numbers but that didn't matter. It was the quality of them that made it feel a bit like a community. A place for Ippin to refer to as a home while she continued to look for hers. She thought that remaining in this place would do her good, so long as the others were there to help support her growth. Other beings who were very much like her in their own unique settings. Other Beastclan members who had their own ideas and aspirations that would help to develop the Cecaelia more than what she was. But that image, that dream was vanishing before her very eyes.
The others remained dormant, unseen as the days went by. The Naga that was once here was no longer. The offerings left for it remained untouch as the days went and the nights came. Nothing changed. The environment brought and held a lot of the nutrition that the girl needed to grow, for her body to mature. This was thanks to the new location. Plenty of room to exercise and learn more about what she could do on her own. But beyond that, there was silence. A silence that never seemed to be broken despite what she did in her passing time. What happened to this place? What happened to her new home? None of it made sense. How was it that it came to be? Did those humans return? Did they cause this to happen? Did they do something to the Naga? Was it them? Was it their fault?
Voices came and went as they normally did. Time after time for offerings. Others, were meant for their own reasons and volition. They laughed. They played as if nothing was wrong. The humans continued their lives as if nothing had changed. What was the matter with them? Nothing was as it should have been. How insolent of them? Hearing them from beneath the surface of the lake, Ippin could only speculate as to what they were talking about. At times she would hear the mention of the word Naga, but nothing else could be understood. A few humans arrived, donning garments of black. A special sort of humans the Beastgirl hadn't seen before. They appeared to be resemble the one who resided beside those who hunted her. Did they have something to do with this sudden change?
The humans did something to make this happen. Their visits became more frequent. Growing in numbers as they did. The humans who wore the garments of black came with them as well. Her home was slowly becoming tainted by their presence. She knew by their development that more would come. With more time, the lake would become infested by them. A place once kept to their kind would no longer be safe, and Ippin would be hunted again. No. She didn't want that. Not again. The Cecaelia became frantic with paranoia. With fear. But most of all.......anger. Another home was going to be taken from her. Not again. NOT AGAIN.
"Do you think it will come? I mean, we haven't seen or heard from it in days. I mean, the offerings from the previous days are still here." one man said. "I don't know, but we will continue to do so. I mean, this is it's home after all." another spoke out. A sacrifice was placed at the edge of the lake as always. A simple offering that was usually made for the Naga, hoping that it would be accepted. The trio of men prayed, finding security in the assistance of the pair of Shinigami that gave them aid to a place that was once guarded by the beast. "Hey, look at that." one of the trio pointed out. Ten feet away from the shore line the water caressed over the dome shape figure that slowly approached. "It's here. The Guardian has not forsaken us." the man praised. But, it wasn't meant to last. As the figure approached, so did the appendages that slithered up from beneath the shore's shallow waters.
What came next was red. Just simple red. All Ippin could see was the red that came with the duo of screams. The sounds of bones gnashing within her grasp, brittle as they would be in the arms of a member from the Beastclan. What the Cecaelia desired was justice. To protect her new home. But, for that to happen, she had to make it so that no human came close to the lake ever again. She had to rid the place of them. Her fangs punctured through their soft skins as if they were made of melted better. Their bones crushed into dust. For the last human among the trio, he fled while the Shinigami came to halt the advancing sea dweller.
"What the Hell is that thing!? one Shinigami cried out. "I don't know, but we need to report this to-" The female Reaper was cut off before she could finish providing her own input on the matter. Tentacles tore through the soft dirt from beneath the pair's footing to snap the woman off her defensive stance. The man shift to look upon what had transpired with his partner, to rush the creature in order to rid it's grip from her. But he'd soon find out that the two tentacles were not all that the Beastclan had to work with. She had plenty more appendages to use. The swing of his sword would hack at the tugging limb, Ippin snapping back her limbs to avoid dismemberment. Her sudden withdraw meant for the others to snap back to lash out at the male Shinigami.
Four of the tendrils snapped back and forth at the Shinigami's sides. All meant to distract him as the others did as they had with his partner. "Watch out!" The Shinigami spun around to slash at the two tentacles that his partner had warned about. Ippin snarled as she felt the sides of her legs were cut, but all meant for the main body of the Beastclan member to splash herself onto of him. Her weight added with her wrestling movement on the Shinigami made it more difficult for the man to move. The two together made it a trifling task to pull Ippin away from the man's garbs and fighting limbs. Including, for this ally to cast her spells on the pair. "RUN! GO BACK AND TELL THE OTHERS!" It was all that he managed to say beneath the grunting and gasping for air, as the man wrestled the girl off Ippin dragged him further and further to the waters. It wouldn't be long before the heavy grunting he emitted would cease beneath the surface of the lake. After, the bubbles would cease as did his movements.
His partner escaped, but there were more humans that remained close to the lake. The village beyond the tree line that resided in front of the Cecaelia. Their voices and actions had to be silenced as well.
