While Grodd or rather Beast would feel the Hellfire covering his body burning away at his matter and soul Tsukuyomi stood his head moving from side to side slowly as he took in everything around him. His opponent had been captivated by the fear of flames and those flames were now finishing him off. As the yellow light appeared and pushed away the black fire Tsukuyomi's attention was returned to Beast. As the vizard was being rescued he was also condemning everything that only a few minutes ago could have been at his mercy.
Beast was gone within moments yet one thing remained. The Demon of Eternity.
Awaking on what felt like hot pavement Tsukuyomi struggled to push himself up in the manner of a push up. It took a fair bit of energy despite being exhausted. Only a moment after awakening did he looked around in fear that he had passed out from Grodd's attack. What he saw though caused his trained eyes to react with shock. Pupils dilating to even smaller dots of darkness as his eyes widened in freight. It couldn't be.
Everything around him the buildings and even some bodies laying on the ground was covered in the black Hellfire of his Saisei Oni. He knew that this was his doing and yet he couldn't remember anything from being in his release. He had killed people this time and destroyed many of the buildings that he had thought were so complex and interesting. He had to be quick though before another Shinigami arrived. Getting onto his feet Tsukuyomi looked around and grabbed a hold of Mikoto and Honshitsu sheathing them both.
He would wait for the arrival of another Shinigami. He couldn't put out these black flames. He was exhausted and couldn't release either of his zanpakuto on top of being very wounded. He was alreadt fast at work coming up with a cover for what had happened. He had found and engaged Grodd in combat. As the two had fought a gate of Hell had opened releasing a Saika. Grodd and the Saika had teamed up and nearly killed him, but he had escaped death by hiding while the two then fought one another. He had passed out from his wounds and awoke to find London in its current condition. He had failed in more than just one way today.
