Friday night. Meant it was fight night. On the night before the weekend so many spiritually aware individuals would convene at Taka's club. Drinking, dancing, laughing, fucking, racing and everything in between that didn't involve murder or other bad things. As one of the only clubs FOR specifically spiritually aware people, it was always bound to get crowded on Fridays. Young peoples of all the spiritual races got together, except for Failures, to enjoy one another's company with alcohol and music. Well...most everyone. Luke actually hated Friday nights at the club. Since he actually lived there can you even try to imagine what it was like trying to sleep on Friday nights? Even as far away from the clubbing part of the former prison as his room was, he could still hear the music, cars, and people. Now don't misunderstand. It wasn't that Luke hated people, music, or drinking...he only did when he wasn't being a part of it.

Except for tonight actually. While Luke never ended up being a part of Taka's racing crew, he did find himself competing regularly in the Clubs fighting ring. Held in the lower parts of the club, away from the general public's location in case something went REALLY bad. Luke wasn't sure if anything "really bad" had happened before thankfully. Closing his locker so his casual clothes were put away, Luke looked at what he was wearing. A grey tank top with black shorts and white sneakers. He literally looked like he was going to the gym or going on a run. Luke wasn't known for dressing up for these matches. He remembered Poison Ash, who was essentially wearing nothing but a scarf that he couldn't understand how it wasn't revealing her dirty bits.

"You're apprehensive. Are you still worried about what happened last time?" the voice of the Doll Springflut suddenly said, breaking through the silence of Luke's mind. The Doll was refering to what happened in the fight with Poison Ash. Luke had been, more or less, blinded by her poison abilities and, in panic, Luke accidently stabbed her. While killing was frowned upon, but not illegal, in the ring that didn't mean Luke was fine with himself nearly taking someone's life. Especially when the fight was nothing but sport. Well, sport for the audience. It was a job for him. He'd been pulled into the Fighting Ring because he wanted to make some money on top of practicing everything he learned. What was the point of Aevus teaching him how to use a sword if he was never going to use it?

Plus he had fun fighting. Maybe it was because of his Bount blood, but Luke always had a indescribable rush during a, non life threatening, fight. Running a hand through his brown hair, Luke let out a sigh as he bounced his fist against the cold, metal, locker. Yeah. Just a little worried. Last I heard she was still in the hospital. Luke replied, stepping away from the locker and moving to the sword bag placed on the bench. "Oh who cares. What's done is done. Move on." Replied Jäger. He was...salty...at Luke right now. To make a long story short, both Luke and Jäger had gotten rather...hurt...a few days ago. A training accident, actually. The young Bount and Doll had been trying to perfect a technique that Luke had created and the resulting backfire ended up damaging Luke, and also put Jäger in a "coma" for a day. That was why Luke's right arm, from hand to elbow, was wrapped in tight bandages.

Looking at his hand he could still feel a few tremors in it. Even using the healing properties of Immortality Drink, the Bount ability to absorb ambient reishi to heal themselves, hadn't been able to fully recover Luke's arm. It was useable. If Luke had to gauge, in a mathematical sense, how good his arm was right now...he'd say it was about 87% as good as usual. That was part of the reason Luke was nervous about tonights fight. You'll be fine. Don't be such a bitch. Springflut snapped, earning a soft chuckle from Luke. "Yeah I know. I'm just worrying." The Bount replied, removing Mūnran'nā from the bag and sliding it between his belt and pants.

Leaving the locker room and heading down the hallway to the arena, a thought about something earlier came to Luke's mind. Why do you think the Manager was asking if I was fine donating my organs? Luke suddenly remembered the fighting rings manager, as sweaty as the short man was (he was a midget after all), asking the young Bount about that. Luke wasn't a organ donor after all. He didn't like the idea of his corpse being cut up and harvested like cattle. But, even so, Luke found the question so very odd. He'd never been asked that by the manager before. Was it supposed to mean something. He'd noticed how nervous the manager seemed as well. He was rubbing his hands together, inhaling that cigar, and sweating like a spraying fountain. I must be in for a treat tonight.. Luke mentally sighed, earning a chuckle from Jäger.

"Well whoever they are, they're gonna get their asses whooped!" The Doll laughed. "Pride comes before the fall, dumbass." Springflut replied. "Oh can it you Matthrew Broderick Godzilla lookin fountain." Oh no...here they go. "Are you actually comparing me to that piece of shit film you smut minded shit stain!" Springflut roared back, causing Luke to wince one of his eyes. It was actually really loud for him. "I may be a shit stain but at least I get used more often than you do, kekeke!" Luke decided to seperate his mental voice channel from those two and let them just yell it out. Better than getting involved himself.

Stepping up the doorway leading to the arena, Luke blinked when the door guard shook his head. "Not this one. You're heading downstairs. The Underdome." The guard explained. Luke blinked. Underdome? The hell was that. "Where's that at...and what is it?" Luke asked with a confused tone. "Just head down the stairs. Better you see it yourself, bud." the guard said with a chuckle. Most of the hired help knew Luke at this point and enjoyed messing with him. They all had good relationships with the Bount, especially since he was the bosses bud. Luke shrugged and turned to head down the indicated staircase. Curiosity, anxiousness, and excitement began building up in his stomach. Going down three flights of stairs, Luke finally reached the doors to what was called the Underdome. And when he was let in...well...he couldn't help but shout "What the hell?!"

Walking out into it was like stepping into an ancient dwarven city. That was the best way of describing it honestly. It was dark and made of stone, like a dungeon, but was filled with these massive pillars spread all throughout the room. It was huge too, about the size of a baseball field. When the hell did Taka have this thing built? Was it originally part of the prison? It was light up well enough. Spotlights illuminated portions of the Underdome, while leaving some parts shrouded in shadow. He noticed the cameras quickly enough, noting how a few of them were looking right at them. He smiled and waved at them. "And now ladies and gentlemen. Ghosts and ghouls! It's time for the maaaaaaaaaain event. In this corner we have three time winner who isn't afraid to send a pretty face to hospice-" Oh god damn it "Blaaaaaaaaaade!"

Okay lets explain that one, because Luke did NOT pick that name. When it was found out that Luke was a sword wielding Bount, the Fighting Ring manager literally jumped at the chance to give Luke a stage name after a comic book character who was also a sword wielding vampire. The best part was that, technically, both Luke and the fictional Eric Brooks were HALF vampires. Luke wasn't really sure if it was racist or not, but he decided to just go with it. Most of the audience just assumed that was his name was, because well, he used a sword. Not that he was Bount. Only a small handful of people actually knew that's what he was actually. He preferred to keep it that way, since Bount had a less than stellar reputation for various, reasonable, reasons. Unfortunately...Luke didn't subscribe to the stereotypes of his race but he still got lumped in with them.

Resting Mūnran'nā on his shoulder as he stepped further in, Luke looked around to see if he could see the other end of the arena. It was still darkened, so he was wondering if his opponent had been let in yet in order to build up suspense for the audience and to make for a cinematic entrance. The thing was that the arena doors were made from a special kind of metal that prevented energy readings from one side to another. It was so Energy Sensors couldn't gauge how strong their opponents were going to be BEFORE the fight began. It made sense, and Luke hadn't yet encountered an opponent he couldn't handle. Granted this was an underground, technically illegal, fighting ring so...really he'd just been lucky. He'd watched a still developing Fullbringer fight and be eaten by a starving bear before in the upstairs ring. Maybe because he was buddies with Taka they'd not thrown him against a wall? The Manager seemed to like him, and Luke was popular enough when it came to bettings. There was an air of uncertainty and mystery around Luke, as his powers had never yet been seen in the arena.

The young Bounts attention shifted from just "day dreaming" to looking to the other end of the arena when he suddenly heard the doors unlocking. "Aaaand facing off against him tonight is a fresh but deadly face. Will Blade's winning streak come to an end when he faces off against-" And suddenly...Luke really understood why they had those energy blocking doors. His eye's widened when he suddenly felt the energy from the other end of the arena. No...no not feel. He could literally fucking taste it (not literally). Now it made sense why the Manager asked if Luke was an organ donor. A smirk painted itself across his features as he stared at the other end of the arena, fingers tightening around his swords grip. This was...going to be interesting.

Deep breaths.

The sounds in the arena were deafening. Everything was becoming such a rush that it was hard to keep track of. Left and right, people were screaming things that could hardly be understood. Nothing made sense, yet that was where the magic happened. It didn't have to make sense because this was so unusual. This was so exciting, but very, very hard to handle with all of the background noises. Deep breaths were necessary. Even the darkness in the room was somewhat bright and blinding because of the sheer power that dwelled within the arena. Unsure of where it was coming from or if it even belonged to anyone, it was left alone.

Just deep breaths.

How long had she been waiting there? The woman had her eyes closed with patience, exercising her breathing and focusing her spiritual powers. She came to realize that what she felt in the arena did not belong to any specific person, but rather the entire place as an entity in itself. It wasn't so much 'power' as it was excitement and empathetic natures coming together as one to witness such an event. Even the woman had to admit she was pretty stoked about the whole ordeal. When she got word that she was to just go out and have fun at an 'assigned' place, she didn't realize they actually meant it. So this was what 'blowing off steam' meant.

Don't let it get to you.

That was easier said than done. Of course she was going to let it get to her. She'd never been in a fight club before. She'd heard about them, but it wasn't like Xcution was big on grand appearances in places like these. They seemed to like to keep it professional for one reason or another, which meant she didn't have much room to roam. As soon as she heard about this fun little outing, she knew it would be nearly impossible to keep her away. Now that she was hearing people cheering, it would be even more so. The woman looked up through the darkness, unable to see the opposite end of the arena, and smiled.

This is it.

"And now ladies and gentlemen. Ghosts and ghouls! It's time for the maaaaaaaaaain event. In this corner we have three time winner who isn't afraid to send a pretty face to hospice--- Blaaaaaaaaaade!"

Oh yeah?

Well, maybe he wasn't afraid to do that, but she certainly wouldn't even give him the chance. There was a reason she was Xcution's number one girl. There was a reason why she was considered among some of the most elite. And as she felt the energy around her grow, even without a strong talent in Energy Sensory, even more excitement began to well within her entire core. Who knew this thrill could be possible? What if this cheering, all of these people, were there for her? Oh, what a thought! That could be even more fun than she ever could have imagined, and it was all going to start right here.

"Aaaand facing off against him tonight is a fresh but deadly face. Will Blade's winning streak come to an end when he faces off against-"

The doors unlocked and everything else was revealed to her. Lights were shining brightly upon the Fullbringer's body, showing off her usual choice in outfit. Her halter top showed her belly in a slightly scandalous and yet oh-so-elegant way, and the large purple star that she normally sported on her clothing was printed on the back. She wore her favorite pair of slightly torn denim shorts with a few accessories here and there to accent in, along with her signature golden heels. As the lights traveled up to her face, the woman flipped her long blonde hair away from her eyes with such grandeur that she knew she'd be stealing the attention of everyone in the room. She was showing her sass.

"Kapri!"

Shizuka Sanamizu, a.k.a. "Kapri," one of Xcution's Seven Guns, was standing before Blade with a twinkle in her eye as she winked to the audience and spread her arms out wide, taking in the applause that she heard. Within a few seconds, she rolled her shoulders and placed her left hand on her hip while flipping her hair once again with her right. She was flexing her powers slightly, making somewhat of a scene, but it was all on purpose. She knew people out there could feel every movement she made, though she was not one of the lucky ones with that kind of Energy Sensory. She knew what she was trying to do, but could not feel the same kind of effects.

"Nice to meet you all! I hope we can really put on a show tonight!"

Who was this character? Shizuka certainly wasn't known for being much of a stranger, but she also wasn't the most extroverted person in the entire universe. She was more of an ambivert, but she was always able to become an entirely different person when put on the spot. It was a talent she was proud of. Shizuka glanced at her opponent, now realizing that they had been put up against one another, and gave him her most charming smile. No one could resist her sweet face, especially not with how her heterochromatic eyes tended to show even the most sincere amusement at what was going on.

Damn. If Luke had ever felt small before he'd have to replace that moment with how he felt right now. He felt like an ant standing before a boot. Well, in this case, a big golden heel. This chick's spiritual strength could be felt in his all over his body, like streams of electricity that also weighed down on him. An excited smile timidly painted itself across Luke's face as he really began to appreciate the situation he was in. But at the same time...there was a massive amount of annoyance as well. He was going to kill the announcer for that little hospice comment, especially since he KNEW that that had been an accident. It painted Luke, or Blade or whatever, as some massive misogynistic deuce bag. Couldn't really be further from the truth...but honestly he probably did it to build up excitement and give his opponent more desire to punch his face in. Even so was still a dick move.

But remember, all of this was for the audience...not the fighters. But besides all the spiritual pressure gushing off of her, Luke had his eyes on her. He was inspecting her. He knew that every little detail about someone was important when it came to a fight. Sadly Luke wasn't experienced enough, or smart enough, to pick up on all those subtle little hints. So looking at her was really just him checking her out. He liked blonde girls, okay. But besides her good looks what he was really focused on where her eyes. Those dual colored irises just drew him in like fireworks you just couldn't look away from. "Oh for the love...stop it, dumbass!" Springflut suddenly yelled, earning himself a mental grumble from Luke. Jäger was cackling in the back of the conscious.

She's cute leave me alone. He confessed almost embarrassingly. "Literally every girl you meet is cute, doesn't mean you suddenly have to fall in love with them. Stop thinking with your dick and get your head into the game!" The Doll shouted. He was right, except about that love part. But it wasn't like Luke hadn't been paying attention. He'd gotten a look at her using the Soul Gauge, and knew just exactly how much stronger than him she was. Damn he was excited. He didn't often get to fight someone so much stronger than he was. It would be a good test to see just how far he'd come. While the young Bount was busy thinking, he just about missed Kapri flashing him a smile. He blinked, perking up for a second, not exactly expecting such a, seemingly, warm greeting from her.

Hearing what she had to say, Luke found it hard to resist returning a warm smile to his opponent. They may have been against each other, but that didn't mean they were actual enemies. This was just sport. It wasn't a death match...hopefully. Those soft browns lit up when he smiled, giving Kapri a shrug as he replied with "Let's give them a show." It really felt good to not be fighting for his life for once. "Fighters, ready yourselves! We're starting the countdown!" The voice of the announcer broke through the arena, prompting Luke to unsheathe his Zanpakuto and let the sheath drop harmlessly onto the floor.

Part of him was actually hoping that Taka was watching. "Three!" He wanted her to see just how far he'd come since they first fought that Hollow in the museum. "Two!" Aevus as well. He wished his Shinigami friend and mentor was here to watch him. "One!" "Ready, buddyboy?" Jäger asked, voice dripping with excitement. Yup Luke replied, feeling his knees bending as he readied himself. "Then get her."

"Fight!!"

"Cast away, Mūnran'nā!" Luke announced as he kicked off of the stone floor and headed right for Kapri. On command the katana the young Bount wielded suddenly burst into light, shifting, morphing, and taking on a new design. The blade itself continued to glow with a bright, white light, as well as the soles of Luke's feet. The question about what just happened would probably appear in Shizuka's mind, because from her point of view why did a human suddenly release a weapon in the exact same way a Shinigami did? Well, the answer was simple. Luke was wielding a Zanpakuto. Technically, to the Shinigami, it was a fake. It wasn't a real Zanpakuto as it didn't possess the Zanpakuto Spirit the real Shinigami weapons possessed. But to Luke and, well, everyone else who saw it? Might as well have been the real thing.

Why did Luke release so early though? The answer was actually really simple. Kapri's Spiritual Pressure was the reason. Having seen the exact estimates of her spiritual stats using the Soul Gauge, Luke knew that engaging her in close quarters combat was the best solution, and yet at the same time dangerous. If Luke went in and attacked her using anything but a released weapon, he'd suffer a Cutback effect. Luke had experienced that crap before, and knew from experience how to avoid it. There was another reason Luke was choosing to engage close up right away. The ridiculous height of her Reiatsu Strength meant that she, most likely, was best at fighting at long ranges. While you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, Luke was almost certain she wasn't a martial artist or close ranged expert. A few details about her let him come to that conclusion.

Her high Reiatsu Strength was one, but it wasn't the whole reason. After all, Luke's spiritual capabilities were better than his physical ones...did that mean he was only long ranged? Nope. Luke preferred fighting at close range. If that had been his only reasoning for why he chose to close in he deserved to get his ass kicked. The other reason, as dumb as it was, was her heels. You couldn't do martial arts...wearing heels...right? "Oh god aahaha." Jäger laughed, realizing just how stupid Luke's logic was. Regardless, that was his train of thought.

Luke made a frontal beeline for Kapri, aiming to get as close to her as quickly as he could. Though simply charging at her would be stupid. Depending on how well Kapri could react and process high speeds, she may or may not be able to pick up on Luke's sudden use of Movement. The young Bount would suddenly vanish, accelerating at 3x his normal speed, and break off the path he had been on. He would suddenly reappear on one of the stone columns littering the arena, standing above her by several feet. Closer now than he was before, he push off of the pillar into a leap with his sword overhead, aiming to swing downwards at her once he'd gotten close enough. It was a really, really, simple attack honestly. It was one to get things going, not go in for a instant win. Regardless it also served to test the water. Could Kapri track him through his Movement? Could she react to this attack? How would she react? So many questions that needed answers.

"Cast away, Mūnran'nā!"

"Ah?"

Did this guy just use a Shinigami sword? Shizuka didn't know the actual technical name of "Zanpakuto" so she still just called it a sword. More importantly, she soon realized that her distractions needed to stop since Blade was actually charging at her! Shizuka grinned as she realized his use of Movement as he disappeared just as suddenly as he started towards her, but she did not yield. Instead, she followed his likely path through analyzing his choice in steps. Shizuka didn't have any Energy Sensory, meaning she couldn't just know where it was that her opponents were going to show up. Instead, she made up for it (mostly) through the use of her analysis expertise.

Years of training meant she could, at the very least, make a solid estimate to where someone would go and what they'd do based on other movements. Blade was using an actual sword, meaning he was going to try to close the space between the two of them. Smart, but Shizuka could hold her on with hand-to-hand combat. The position of his feet and how his legs were bent told her that he was planning on moving towards her and jumping above. The exact location was unknown, but based on general experience, she assumed it would be right over her head. As Shizuka looked up, Blade appeared on the column. Smart, but he was obviously just seeing what she could do.

So the Fullbringer did what she was known for! Blade's momentum with his attack meant it would be very difficult to shield himself, which was exactly what she wanted. He didn't have anywhere to go, so Shizuka used Bringer Light to blind him as she moved at ten times her normal speed to get behind him. This kind of light, whether he tried avoiding the attack or not, was too bright to ignore. Shizuka used that to her advantage as she slammed her right heel down into his back as hard as she could, 'helping' him with his descent. Shizuka was a bit stronger than Blade was, as noted by her own Soul Gauge as it activated for her, so she knew this would hurt him. If he wanted to fight close-combat, she'd let him. With this move, he should plant his face straight into the ground of the arena as Shizuka kept herself above him on air ground.

Still, she mostly wanted to know what he was. In the past, she knew how Shinigami were and what they looked like, but only as a general kind of thing. She knew about the robes, the status, the strangeness, and pretty much everything else that came along with the territory. With what small amount of studying she'd done with other races, the only thing she could imagine he'd be was a Bount. Did she know many Bounts? She knew about that one kid from that dreadful game of trust and betray, but she wasn't truly aware of many others. If they were rare, could that mean that's what this guy was?



Shizuka's Remaining Reiatsu: 4950 (-50 for Bringer Light)

Alright, she was on the move. As Luke was descending towards her to attack he had felt the sudden kick of energy within her. Narrowing his eyes Luke saw as she vanished and made an educated guess where she was going. A flash of light at her feet, one not being as bright as she might have expected, Luke was able to follow the source of her energy rather well. So her suddenly appearing behind him actually wasn't that much of a surprise. It was a very, very, common strategy. Maybe it would have worked on Luke, despite his predictions, had it not been for one real key factor. Luke's trainer loved to attack him from behind. "She's behind you." He wasn't fully committing to this attack anyways and had been anticipating a counter attack. So now it was time to counter.

Luke's foot kicked outwards and suddenly collided with a seemingly invisible floor. Utilizing Advanced Air Platform, Luke created a flooring for him to stop his descent downwards to where Kapri had been moments before. While he wasn't going to be able to swing his sword around in time to counter her kick, he did have another method of defense. Swinging his left arm backwards, in the direction of Kapri, Luke used another technique; Advanced Air Arsenal. Advanced Air Platform was used to stop Luke's descent, and Advanced Air Arsenal was what was being used to respond to Kapri's kick. From energy in the air, Luke created a stop sign shaped shield like construct on the back of his left hand. Three square feet was more than enough to catch her kick, and because of the panels durability was easily able to absorb the impact.

Absorbing the impact of her kick and leaving Luke unharmed, the Bount turned himself around to face Kapri. With her leg extended outwards in that failed kick, Luke saw the perfect opportunity to try and land a blow on his pretty opponent. Tightening his right hands grip on the sword, Luke lunged forward and delivered a downward slash at Kapri as he called out the name of the sword, "Mūnran'nā!" As if waiting for the name to be called out, at the peak of the sword swing a wave of energy would expel from it and slam itself into Kapri. A wave of energy that, following the rules of the Zanpakuto, was packing a force equal to twice Luke's speed and three times his physical strength (610).

If Kapri was, in fact, hit by this force she'd be thrown back rather violently. The force would do physical damage to her, the young Fullbringer not having any kind of defense like Blut or Hierro to absorb the impact of the attack. It would probably feel like getting hit by a truck. Honestly it might have felt better to just get cut by the sword than take its special attack. Granted this was all if Kapri WAS hit by Mūnran'nā's attack. She was certainly an experienced fighter. All Luke had on his side that would give him any chance of landing that attack was the awkward physical position Kapri would be in after her kick had failed, and the surprise of the attack. Regardless, Luke would launch himself downwards by kicking off the angled air platform, coming to land on the cold stone floor and throwing a gaze to Kapri. "You alright?" Luke asked, giving his opponent a playful smirk.

So he blocked it.

Shizuka noted his chance in movement as Blade started to turn to face her. He was going to swing it at her, and she had to get away before whatever his attack was hit. With the limited space she had and the short time frame, the Fullbringer's thoughts had to happen as quickly as possible to avoid any fate Blade planned. If he could block her kick with something solid like that shield, then she could use it to jump off of. Just before Blade was fully able to redirect the way he was facing, Shizuka brought her left leg down to meet her right and kicked off with Movement so that she could get out of the path of his sword. Shizuka clutched at her heart. When the weapon was used, she could literally feel what it would have done to her. She didn't need to sense anything for that.

"You alright?" He asked, smirking at her.

Even her own durability at her class wouldn't have protected her from that much damage. She could have done something with her Reiatsu, maybe, to shield herself from most of the blow, but she wasn't really sure if there was a technique for that. Most of her techniques were for other purposes, but maybe that was worth looking into. Anyway, Shizuka let out a deep breath and let it turn into a sigh of relief. She'd been up against strong opponents before, but this guy surprised her. He certainly wasn't a rookie, that's for sure. She figured she'd end up having a bit more fun with this guy than she originally thought she might.

"Alright? You could have killed me! You're that willing to harm a lady?" Shizuka said as something soft coated her voice.

She was having fun. She had a small heart attack when she thought she was trapped, but Shizuka was genuinely having fun. She'd been worried about such horrible things as of late because everything had been so terrible, like being trapped underground or having to battle millions of members of other races because of a small issue ranging across all of the worlds, or even meeting her grandmother that she never knew she had. Whatever the reason, she enjoyed not having to think about that stuff for once and just having a bit of fun instead. Why let any of that bother her now?

But back to it. Obviously attacks from behind weren't going to work on Blade, but frontal attacks never really worked, either. If he was really so good at predicting her movements, she needed to think of a strategy to immobilize him somehow. It was likely that he knew purely hitting her wasn't going to work since she'd experienced cutback and seen what her own cutback can do, and he'd likely experienced the same. But if limiting his actions was all she needed to do for now, then maybe she did actually have a decent idea of how to do that. She'd used this before, and he was definitely at a lower level than she was. It should work.

Shizuka's Spiritual Pressure flexed enough to load her Gravitational Pressure on Blade. At this rate, he wouldn't be crushed heavily to the ground as one might be at Class 4 or 5, but he'll absolutely be ground-locked unless he sacrifices his own Reiatsu to resist it. She knew he would, but this is mostly a way to get him to use up the Reiatsu he has. It may take a while for it to run out, but his stamina will also heavily decrease as time goes on now. The Fullbringer smiled at Blade as innocently as she could, then stepped on air ground about fifty feet above where he stood. She crossed her arms.

"What's the matter, Blade? Feeling some weight on your shoulders?"

"Hehe, sorry. You've got a lot more power than I do, so I figured an attack like that wasn't going to do too much to ya." Luke confessed to Kapri with a smile and shrug. Similar to her he was having too much fun with this fight. Kapri herself seemed like a really nice girl on top of it. Maybe she'd be interested in-"No! Stop it!" Alright fine. But thinking back on it, she'd managed to dodge Luke's Zanpakuto ability rather well. Going back over it in his head, he didn't expect her to use his own Air Arsenal as a stepping stone to get away from him. She was good. She had a good head on her shoulders. Quick on the uptake. Gripping his Zanpakuto with both hands, Luke held his sword out forward, keeping his right foot forward and left behind his right, pointed outwards to the left. He was taking a position called, in official terms, seigan no kamae.

How would he approach Kapri this time? His hardened gaze kept itself locked onto her. Studying her, analyzing her, watching her. What was she going to do? Would he attack again or was she? What other abilities did she have in store for him? Narrowing his eyes, Luke shifted his position once again. He brought the sword upwards, letting it point right up in the air as he kept his hands and the grip to his chest level. Luke was preparing to attack. If he could keep the offense on he could, potentially, overwhelm her. "Why don'tcha let me out? I'll overwhelm her, if you know what I mean kekeke." Jäger snickered, rewarding him with a dual groan from Luke and Springflut.

But the young Bount wasn't given a chance to attack it seems. Gasping, Luke was suddenly forced downwards by a unbelievable amount of pressure. It was as if the very air itself had suddenly become ten times heavier. Like some kinda King Kai's planet shit. "Nrgh...nkek...mmmgh." Luke groaned, trying to keep himself from falling straight onto his face. Just what the hell was this? His face portrayed his struggle rather well. Aaaaaagghh daamn it! Luke cursed. "Don't...gimme...this...crap!" Luke shouted, suddenly standing up straight as his reiatsu flared into action.

The air still felt heavy, but it seems that pushing his energy back against it was keeping it from pressing down on him. He had the feeling he wasn't going to be able to keep this up forever though. Was Kapri looking to end this? Or was she looking to slowly burn him out. Damn, clever girl. Luke didn't have any choice now. He had to push. He had no option BUT to push back against Kapri as much as he could. Kicking off the stone floor, Luke launched himself forward with Movement. But instead of appearing above or behind her he instead suddenly appeared in front of her. Right arm in motion, the young Bount swung at her horizontally. If he could keep the pressure up on her he was certain he'd get a good blow in.

Shizuka was pleased to see that Blade was so willing to try to fight against her Gravitational Pressure. She only used this kind of ability when she wanted to test the strength of her opponent and if they were willing to push back against her. She didn't really like killing on a whim if she didn't have to, so she wouldn't use this on anyone who was much of a rookie, but Blade definitely knew a thing or two about fighting. She felt confident in his ability to keep up with her just as she had been keeping up with him. She didn't even want to use her Fullbring because all she wanted to do was let off some steam and have a good spar. The sword was fine, though. Shizuka had been tempted to activate her powers, but if that was going to happen, it wouldn't just yet.

She also assumed Blade wanted the same thing. If he actually wanted to hurt her, Shizuka knew Blade could have by now. She knew he certainly tried to, but his attacks have all been avoided without much of an issue. So this meant he really was only interested in making the fight fun as opposed to worrying about wins and losses like so many people did. That made it a lot easier on Shizuka, as well, since she didn't want to run the risk of either of them getting seriously hurt. Bruises or scrapes or whatever here and there was one thing, but anything more than that was a bit extreme for her tastes. He was used to this kind of fighting. If he managed to get the best of her, so be it.

But that time hadn't happened just yet. Shizuka watched as Blade prepared himself and disappeared. So he used a step technique again, which was fine, but where was he going to end up? Well, in front of her was the answer because Blade's being suddenly seemed to take form once again just a short distance away from Shizuka. He swung at her with his right arm, so Shizuka acted quickly and combined two of her quickest actions. She used air ground as as base and grabbed Blade's arm with her right hand as he swung at her with one use of Bringer Flash, then used it again to take his momentum with her and spin him around her body, combining Movement as a way to move her entire self quickly and another Bringer Flash with her right arm to hurl him over her and down towards the ground. Essentially, she rolled him over herself by redirecting his momentum so she could throw him somewhere else.

Green steam emanated from Shizuka's right arm and she clutched at it momentarily. It hurt. She knew she wasn't going to be able to do that again with this arm unless she wanted to start losing any use she has of it, so she pushed through the pain she started to feel and stretched out her fingers a few times. That technique was useful, but kind of inconvenient. Nevertheless, if she managed to pull a fast one on this guy (ha), he'd be hitting the ground pretty hard. That wouldn't be very fun to recover from, but neither was moving her arm that quickly in succession. She groaned a bit at the sacrifice, but it seemed like a good idea at the time.

What? What?? WHAT!? Luke panicked as he began being, well, man handled all over the place. He wasn't even entirely sure what had just happened, to be honest, and now was suddenly being slung over Kapri's shoulder like this was a karate movie. But he was sharp and quick witted, and knew that something like this wasn't going to do him in. Over the shoulder he went, flung with insane speed by Kapri, yet he didn't actually go far. Twisting himself in his descent so his feet faced downwards, Luke slowed his descent down with light uses of air ground. When his feet touched the ground he turned to look back at up at Kapri and noticed what she was doing. It seemed that whatever that technique was had a bit of a drawback to it. Hmm He pondered, watching Kapri for a moment.

How was he going to approach her? If frontal and high speed attacks weren't going to work...well there was always that approach. "Summoning me?" No. The Aevus approach. This would be his first time using the technique in a real battle though. The Fullbringer would notice Luke beginning to move. But instead of towards her he was calmly walking to the side, heading over to the one of the stone columns littering the battlefield. Just what was he doing, she might ask herself. For a second he paused, before stepping behind the pillar and out of Kapri's sight. Enshrouded in darkness, Luke activated the technique. Schatten

While Schatten was a technique that nearly any Bount could learn, Luke thought that he had created an entirely unique technique for himself. He wasn't aware that other Bount could use it, having learned how to use it himself by trying to imitate Jägers basic abilities. Behind that pillar and out of Kapri's sight, Luke sunk into the shadows itself. Vanishing from sight it was almost as if Kapri was all alone in the arena now. If she moved herself to try and find Luke behind the pillar she would see that he was...well...gone. Luke was now travelling between the shadows, the darkness his own hidden pathways around the arena.

The reason Luke called this the Aevus method was because it was the stealth approach to this. Normally Luke was the kinda guy who would face you head on, but against an opponent like Kapri he figured he might have just needed to go with this approach to get the jump on her. He wasn't naturally stealthy, unlike Jäger, but using this technique would give him sneaking capabilities regardless. Luke, hidden within the shadows, was moving around the arena in hopes to get a excellent attack point on Kapri. Normally Schatten gave your position away with red, glowing, eyes...but Luke decided to turn that part off. So now Kapri would be left wondering just where the hell did Luke go.

The steam dissipated as Shizuka watched Blade catch himself along his descent. That was pretty good, and she'd admit it, but she didn't expect him to follow through so easily. He was clever, and she knew it. The main thing was just being able to catch him off guard enough to be able to take him down and pin him somehow. Wasn't that the point of sparring matches? So long as you were pinned and couldn't get up, then the match was over. Or, at least, that's what Shizuka saw in the media. Honestly, she'd never done something like this herself. She wasn't sure if different arenas had other rules to follow.

She kept her eye on Blade for as long as she could. The only reason why she wasn't able to after a while was because he actually disappeared into the shadows. Shizuka wasn't aware of any techniques like this, so she didn't know what to think of it except for the fact that he was gone. Was her Gravitational Pressure even working anymore? It's not like it strained her to keep it pressing, so she didn't let up on it at all, but she just couldn't tell. He slinked himself away within the shadows like some kind of liquid. But if that was the case, if Shizuka was able to shine a bright enough light on it, would Blade just evaporate along with the shadows he was in?

The Fullbringer brought herself down to the ground, being careful to stay in the part of the arena that was actually lit. There weren't any shadows around her that were remotely close, so she was hopeful that meant he couldn't get to her if he actually was traveling through them. If he was just hiding, that was one thing, but Shizuka wanted to cover all the bases. The only shadow near her was her own, but there was no way he could just pop up out of no where through that. Was there? Well, even if there was, it's not like she couldn't attack back. Actually, it was kind of nice to experience techniques like this. She wasn't used to it, so it was good practice for if she ever sees it again.

The only problem here was waiting. She didn't know where he was, so it wasn't very easy to make a move. She considered finding some light to redirect somehow, but even that wasn't the most amazing idea she could think of. The issue still originated from being able to locate him, and she couldn't. She felt a bit like a sitting duck, but what was she supposed to do? No technique she had in her arsenal was able to create light on command that was bright enough to wash away the shadows, so was there much of a point? Then again, he needed to come out some time to pin her if that was how the match was going to go. Unless he had something else planned.

"♫Under the shadows♫buddy it's better♫down where it's darker♫take it from meeee♫" Why was Jäger singing? Why was Jäger butchering a song, really? Could you hush? Luke asked as he manuevered through the shadows, keeping his eyes on Kapri as he began trying to find the best position to spring out and attack her from. "Nope. No. Never. You love it when I talk." The Doll chuckled back. "We'd all prefer it if you'd start being quiet from time to time." Springflut spat back at Jäger. Luke got the sinking feeling they were going to start arguing again, and sure enough not a minute later-"But we don't need another brooding quiet thing. We already have you, Zilla Jr, for that, keke." The Doll taunted. "You know what I've had it about to here wi-"

Both of you hush. You're making my head hurt. Luke complained, closing his eyes for a moment to try and focus past the ever growing pulsing throb he could feel. Once again he was asking himself the question "how do I proceed?" Kapri had lowered herself to the arena floor, but had gone ahead and settled herself into one of the illuminated portions of the ring. This meant that Luke's choices of approach were vastly limited. He couldn't travel between shadows that weren't connected, meaning he couldn't just pop up in Kapri's shadow. There was also the problem of whether or not Kapri would suddenly start blasting light all over the place. Seeing as how she hadn't done so already, though, lead Luke to believe she might not actually be able to do so.

Kapri was tough, that was for sure. Luke began wondering if bringing out a Doll might be the next best step. He could feel Jägers excitement at the idea, but also Springfluts rejection of the notion. He knew the second Doll wouldn't tolerate being summoned for something like this. If it wasn't a serious fight he didn't want to bother. Hell, if Luke forced him out there was the chance that Springflut might try to attack Luke again. No. Luke chose to hold back on summoning his Dolls. Unless Kapri suddenly whipped out her own release, Luke would hold himself back. The Artificial Zanpakuto, though technically a release, didn't count in this since it was Luke's primary attack method.

Hmm. Luke would need to do something quickly before Kapri made her own move. Part of him wanted to force her into using her release, whatever it was, and at the same time wanted to defeat her before she had the chance to use it. But Kapri was pretty good, so he'd need to get something to work. She was hanging out in one of the illuminated portions of the arenas, meaning...wait...an idea was suddenly coming to him. Blinking, Luke quickly moved himself to the furthest reaches of the arena away from Kapri. It might have felt a little cheap doing this so early, but really...Luke liked this idea.

Kapri wouldn't hear him say the command from within the darkness, and being as far away as he was, meant that the starting up of this plan would go without a hitch. "Ziege Dich." He whispered, summoning Jäger into the material world. "Keekekekekeke!!" Jäger laughed, and immediately got to work. Kapri wouldn't see Jäger, given that he, like Luke, was travelling INSIDE the shadows, nor would she be able to sense him. Jäger, upon being summoned, had the passive ability Ungesehen active. The ability hid his reiatsu signature from people with Energy Sensory, but with Kapri's actual lack of the ability...well she'd have no idea that someone new had joined the fight.

The living shadow was already at work. What with all the shadows in the arena connected he already had himself a massive spawning ground. Oh he was excited. Excited to fight. Excited to breath. Excited to get his claws into that soft, pretty, skin. Stupid Luke's plan was simple, easy, and would work very, very, well. Scare her. Scare her a little, yeah, that sounded good. The light fixture above Kapri was the first one. Emerged from the darkness, the being made from shadow itself appeared and silently swung it's clawed arm and, as expected, shattered the light that was bathing Kapri. If she didn't move she'd have shards of glass and light bulb slamming into her head. Just as quick as he appeared he vanished, only to reappear near another light fixture and do the same thing to it.

One by one each of the arenas ceiling lights came crashing to the ground, blanketing the arena in total darkness. Luke was sure he could hear the audience groaning if they couldn't see the two fighters through the cameras. But now that everything was dark, the ball was on Luke's side of the field. "Let me get her. I'll get her good. I'll take her down. Pleaaaaaase." Jäger pleaded. No. You're on standby. The Bount ordered as he maneuvered himself behind Kapri, and then emerged from the shadow. If the young Fullbringer looked to the left, she would see the bright glow of Lukes sword being swung at her waist.

Ungesehen (Unseen) - This is a passive ability, available to Jäger at all times. It suppresses his reiatsu signature, rendering it incapable of being detected by anyone except those who have superior Energy Sensory to his Reiatsu Strength. This alone is potent. However, it also augments his Overall Ability, causing shadow form objects to vanish from energy sensory in the same manner. However, regardless, Jäger is capable of tracking those objects with his own energy sensory.

Drawbacks: Jäger can still be detected by sight when it is in it’s hunter form, regardless of people’s energy sensory. The same holds true for shadow form objects. Additionally, if someone has superior RS then this ability is also negated. This ability instantly docks 350 reiatsu from Jäger’s pool once he is are released.

And then there was darkness. Shizuka gasped as the light above her went out and covered her head as she stepped to the side a bit, avoiding the falling shards. So this was his tactic. He couldn't reach her from the shadows, so he was going to make his own. Smart guy. Shizuka wasn't going to be able to hide herself from him forever, it seems, even if she was in plain sight. If he was going to stick to concealing himself the way he was, she'd have to think of something else to do. Still, she wasn't very sure how he managed to get by her and shatter the light that was above her. That part didn't make sense. He couldn't move, could he? Was he actually more mobile than she thought?

Another fixture was shattered and the arena grew ever more black. Looks like Shizuka's assumption was correct! He was trying to make the entire place dark so he'd have an easier time sneaking up on the blonde. That was a fair shot, but Shizuka could still try to figure something out. Each light came crashing down as they were destroyed, and Shizuka stepped into an area where the light had already been broken to avoid being hit by any falling pieces. This was all just a big thing to try to get Blade some access to Shizuka if he was really part of the shadows, right? But it's not like she could sense him. How was she supposed to know where he was?

The answer was in the noise around her. The lights being shattered was fine, but that meant the entire area was completely silent. Shizuka could still hear things like movement if it was close enough, especially since clothing and everything made noise when people moved. So when Blade appeared next to her and threw his attack, Shizuka was able to use Movement to jump up away from his slash, and again to press downwards on the sword. This force surely wasn't enough to break a released weapon, but it was enough to force his motion downward instead. If she succeeded, his sword would be pinned to the ground underneath Shizuka.

From there, the Fullbringer would use Bringer Flash with her left leg against Blade's arm. This should be enough to break it since her strength was greater than his, but it was certainly enough to knock the sword from his hand since she was already pinning it down. From there, she would grab the sword and use Bringer Light to distance herself away from the man on the other end of the arena. She didn't have much to work with in terms of techniques, but she used what she knew as much as she could. Still, that much movement in succession was tough, especially on the leg Shizuka used Bringer Flash on. It didn't hurt nearly as bad as her arm had since she only used it once, but that was a technique that needed to be limited. She only had so many body parts. Plus, Bringer Light was going to be quite startling to someone shrouded in darkness the way he was.

Shizuka glanced down at her green steam-covered leg and smiled sarcastically as she rolled her eyes at herself. "You're making me move a lot, Blade. But speed is something I tend to be known for."

It was true. Shizuka had a bit of a reputation for being somewhat of a fast-paced person when it came to fights. She made up for her lesser areas of battle with being quick as much as she could, but she was still learning. With this case, it was very much a kind of... 'I need to get in and get out' situation. She didn't want to spend too much time close to him if she could help it, but she wasn't afraid of hand-to-hand combat. She just didn't have much of a defense aside from Ken, and she wasn't about to use something like that here. Not yet, anyway. It's still too early in the fight for her to scare the poor guy. They were just having fun!

Fuck Luke swore when he saw his attack miss. Kapri, using that movement ability of hers, was able to once again dodge his swing. So this was what it was like fighting someone that much stronger than he was. She was able to respond to just about everything he threw at her. Her heeled foot came slamming down onto his sword, and Luke realized that he wouldn't have much time what so ever to respond. Mūnran'nā! Luke commanded, before Kapri could use Bringer Flash to smash that heel into Luke's arm. Using the basic ability of the Zanpakuto, Luke was yanked backwards with the same sort of force that he fired at Kapri minutes prior. Twice his physical speed and three times his physical strength, his sword was easily yanked free and himself pulled away safely before Kapri could damage his arm.

Luke realized something. He didn't have much time left. With her spiritual pressure weighing down on him once again he had no choice but to push back against her power with his own energy. That, already, was taxing enough as it was. But using Schatten, a technique he was in no way a master of, also tanked his storage of stamina. Plus he was beginning to run low on reiatsu. Each encounter with Kapri caused him to burn through quite a bit of his reiatsu to keep up. Luke was going to have to try and end this fight now. He guessed he only had an encounter or two left in him before he'd be going down himself. So, Luke decided, he was going to have to be mean. "I can do it." Jäger said, his voice much clearer than it normally was since he'd actually been summoned.

He didn't go far. From when he was pulled back and from when Kapri used her Bringer Flash to stomp into the floor, Luke only travelled back one meter. His legs, bent at the knees and feet pointing backwards, pressed against an Air Platform curved at a perfect angle. Suddenly he pushed off, using Movement to blitz right back at Kapri and get right in her face, his sword in motion. Swinging upwards from his left hip to her left shoulder, if Kapri did not move backwards that sword would be finding its way cutting through her flawless skin. Luke was betting, hoping, praying that she would move backwards to avoid a potentially bloody, and deadly, blow.

But this was not the extent of his attack. Because as he swung, he activated Mūnran'nā yet again. He activated all of the swords abilities in this confrontation. The glowing light of the sword, from Kapri's perspective, suddenly lit up like the very damn sun itself. In this total darkness, where the only light was the sword and Luke's feet, it would be the equivalent of a flash grenade lighting up in her face. But more than that was Luke releasing another energy wave from the sword as he swung. If Kapri moved backwards, as Luke hoped she would as a result of his quick attack and blinding assault, she would be struck by that powerful force (610) he fired earlier. It would, hopefully, send the cute girl flying backwards through the arena and leave her bruised and beaten.

Assuming it did work, Luke planted his feet back on the ground and let out that pent up breath. Holding his sword steady, he could not disguise his rather deep breaths. The light from his sword illuminated his features, showing off the beads of sweat forming on his brow. Damn...legs are shaking.. Luke complained, noting the light tremors he was feeling down below. But...hopefully that's that. Luke noted with a sigh. His attack had a few things on his side. Firstly was the fact that Kapri, experienced as she was, did have the Instincts of a normal athletic human. Luke's combined attack had been fast, using a duo of movement abilities, had aimed to not just blind Kapri but also send her flying through the air to hopefully win the fight.

So he was able to get out, but that didn't matter. Shizuka was almost sure she had him, but Blade was already showing some signs of exhaustion. If her Soul Gauge was right, he didn't have as much Reiatsu stored up as she did, meaning he couldn't possibly last as long in battle against her if she kept forcing him to use techniques. Doing some math in her head, she realized he was much more depleted than she originally thought. He would likely start getting desperate, which seemed to be his exact reaction. Shizuka didn't know his abilities at all, so predicting anything or trying to get a good hold on how he fought was hard. She would just have to take everything as it was thrown at her.

He was close to her. That was good. Shizuka was still much faster than he was at a natural level, so even his Movement wasn't going to speed up his attacks as he swung his blade at her. He moved too quickly for her to get out of the way, but she didn't want to. She would just pull a simple trick. As Blade swung his sword upwards, Shizuka ducked underneath it and used Movement to get behind him, grabbing the back of his clothing behind his neck in the process. By the time she stopped moving behind him and took place, she'd have his clothes bunched up pretty tightly in her left hand's fist. In her right hand would be her famously large water gun. The matching bucket was resting just ten feet away with a brightly shining liquid inside of it that lit up the area around it.

Since Shizuka moved behind Blade, his attack was blocked by his own body, so it didn't have the same effect as he probably hoped. She was able to avoid the brunt of it. If anything, it would instead be Blade who was affected. She wasn't so sure how his attacks worked and if they bothered him or not, but she was out of the way and that's all that mattered. She had energy to spare, which meant it was about time to show it. Between dodging his first swing, moving behind him, grabbing his collar and simultaneously releasing her own Fullbring, these events happened in a continuous manner that, hopefully, didn't give him much room to dodge. And with her holding his collar, he couldn't get rid of her so easily.

The minute she activated her Fullbring, the gun's nozzle was against his back. She didn't want magma to burn him to death or anything, and once she shot it out, she would have to get out of there. She knew the dangers pretty well, but she also was no stranger to dodging her own attacks. Still, she was holding him up. His hands were occupied by his sword, he was weak, he didn't have much energy left at all for more, and what would he do otherwise? Try to kick her away? She could still shoot him at any given moment. This fight was as good as over, unless he wanted a giant burn mark on his back.
