Location: Soul Society, Squad 1 barracks.
Special Conditions: None.
Circumstances: The Arrancar's invasion of Seireitei has gone well for him. His forces have succeeded in a stalemate against the Shinigami. While he has lost many Mod Souls of his army, these can be rebuilt later. Shinigami are most difficult to replace, and even though more of the masked man's army has fallen than Shinigami, many of them have still died.

Though the arrival of seated officers and Vice Captains means that the advantage has shifted in favor of the Gotei Thirteen, the masked man has defeated several enemies along the way. More than one Captain is now dead or in critical condition, and the masked man is fresh off of a victory over the powerful Vizard, Zeich Yajuu.

Though his cloak was lost against the Vizard, the Arrancar continues to sport his mask and shield his identity from many. He has at last arrived at the entrance to Squad 1 and cut his way in. Here, he hopes to encounter the two Vice Captains that have been causing trouble for his soldiers, and after dispatching them he will challenge the Captain Commander and win this conflict in a single decisive battle.

Before he can do that, he has cut through dozens of Shinigami fodder. The only one left standing right now before the masked man makes it further into the barracks is Tsukuyomi Kawada, a fourth seat from Squad 7 that was sent as a reinforcement to Squad 1. All alone now, he has no hope of victory against the masked man. Can he survive?

Tsukuyomi moved through the hallways of Division One he had to get the entrance as fast as possible he wasn't that far now, but he could tell that time was running out. It had been more than an hour now since some sort of attack on Soul Society had begun. Tsukuyomi hadn't been told much information due to the scattered searching of the individual by all of the Shinigami. However, what he did know was that he was coming towards Division One which meant only one thing. He was going to try and eliminate the Captain Command and throw all of the Shinigami into chaos without their leader.

He had arrived through a different entrance one that he normally used to gain access to deliver his paper work on suspects or arrests made by not only himself by but the majority of Division Seven since that was one of the jobs that he was tasks with as the Fourth Seat. He didn't have time though to think of anything else all he could do was try to make it towards the sounds of screaming as fast as possible. Since he had arrived in the barracks of the Division he had heard various sounds ranging from obvious kido to steel clashing and the unmistakable sound of death.

He was nearing the entrance now and his nose was becoming overburdened by the scent of blood that was without a doubt covering the wooden floors at the entrance. As Tsukuyomi turned around the last corner he entered into the main entrance of the Division and his eyes became small as they began to tremble in freight at what was in front of him. Bodies all over the floor some missing limbs and others missing larger sections of themselves that had been cut clean through by the single individual surrounded by them all. This one monster had reduced what seemed to be more than a few dozen Shinigami into nothing more than heaps of flesh.

Tsukuyomi could hear his own heart beating faster than he had in a long time. What he was feeling right now he had felt in the past. The choking grip of death and fear that only one could experience when starring death in the face. Tsukuyomi had grown up around nothing, but death and yet even now he felt his hands trembling in fear. A cold sweat was running down his face as he saw the individual notice him. This was it he was either going to die like fodder accomplishing nothing or he was going to stand his ground and make sure that all of the torment he had suffered was used at least for something.

He knew that he couldn't afford to hold back anything against this guy or else it was going to result in his demise. He had to use everything against him just to hold him off or buy even a second more time in order for some of the Captains to arrive. He could feel it this aura was nothing, but evil nothing other than sorrow. Gripping ahold of his hilts Tsukuyomi unsheathed both of his zanpakuto simultaneously holding the wakashi Honshitsu in his left hand while the long katana Mikoto was held in his right. Only his passive experience to calm himself down was enough to steady his body as he prepared to fight for his and Soul Society's survival.

"Descend From The Abyss Onto The Battlefield Tsukuyomi No Mikoto. Cast Out The True Nature Honshitsu." Tsukuyomi spoke the call out phases of his zanpakuto releasing the both of them as swiftly as he could accomplish knowing that going into battle without both of them was even more suicidal than fighting this individual without them. He had no access to kido nor any type of Hakuda that would benefit him against someone that his swordsmanship wouldn't already accomplish which meant if his zanpakuto were enough he only had one other option and yet even now he didn't want to grab ahold of the darkness within himself. The small wakashi now was a crude looking blade that seemed to be the same style while the katana had changed into a silver crescent blade.

The only other change would be the three white orbs of reiatsu that were circling around Tsukuyomi now. It had only been a few moments since he had taken that turn around the corner and yet it felt like a life time. This was all he had to face down this foe and it felt like nothing even though the battle hadn't even begun. There was just something about this creature that caused Tsukuyomi's primal instincts to scream out in fear telling him to run or else he'd die. The white moons were placed approximately five feet away from Tsukuyomi in a triangle formation making sure that he was guarded on all sides. Tsukuyomi would wave Mikoto releasing another moon changing the formation into a square that moved at a speed of 500. "Just got to hold him off as long as I can."

His true move though came in the next instant all of his preparations were set up to last as long as possible against whatever the hell was standing in front of him and he feared that if he waited any longer he wouldn't be able to calm himself down any longer. His left hand was held outwards at the individual when suddenly Honshitsu became engulfed with blue flames along its blade. Tsukuyomi would suddenly begin to write on the air itself with the blue fire making the kanji symbol for fire. It only took him a moment and then as he finished the kanji of blue flames rushed forwards moving towards the creature at a speed of 400. The kanji of flames was no bigger than a foot in size and yet as it moved through the space between them both it would grow. Do to the fact they were only twenty feet away from one another the kanji by the time it'd reach this creature would be four times the original size making Tsukuyomi's first attack hopefully even a small amount more effective.

The masked man had stepped into the room after shedding his black cloak. It had sustained damage in the last couple of battles, one against a Vizard and the other against two Captains. Now all of them had fallen, but the cloak could no longer serve its purpose of shielding him from the air or the ashes of the fires that he created. It had come to more resemble a tattered cape. Thus he discarded it before entering the room. What he wore instead was a black military style suit jacket with pants and shoes to match. He resembled a military man choosing to attend a funeral, except that a mask was still present on his face and shielded his identity. Without a hood to cover it, the mask became apparent to cover the entire head like a helmet. It was not merely something for the face. Thus as the masked man took more steps forward and his blade shattered the entry into the squad, he was still shrouded in mystery.

There were several dozen who attacked him, but like all of those before them they were cut down like animals. Blood sprayed across the floor and the ceilings in streaks. Of course this was the inevitable result. Everyone was fodder to the masked man now. The unseated. Seated officers. Vice Captains. Captains themselves. Vizards. All of them were worthless against his profound power. But now that he approached the meeting room where Captain's meetings were held, the Arrancar sensed something. He detected a familiar presence that he had encountered during his last visit to Soul Society. It was the Kuchiki brat that had battled him before. That it had ended unresolved left a sour taste in the Arrancar's mask. He had a score to settle with the boy, and this time he would make it quite personal. More steps forward and more slaughtered. Soon he was alone in the wide corridor with what appeared to be a terrified seated officer.

Shinigami were like cockroaches. They kept crawling out of the woodwork. Having downed far more powerful enemies than this one on the way here, the masked man could not help but wonder what motivated any sort of attack. Was it to delay him? That was foolish. As the blue flames surged, the masked man blasted a huge, dark red beam from his left hand. It was a Cero. The Arrancar's mastery of the ability allowed a very fast casting. And with his reiatsu strength his Cero was the size of an apartment complex. It was so massive that it destroyed several walls and columns in the corridor and next to it on the way. The edges of the attack bordered walls that started to burn as it moved along them. It was a massive attack of such strength that it instantly extinguished those pathetic blue flames that had been launched. The seated officer now had only a few small options of where to go.

He might think to go backwards, up, or to the sides. With that distance and the power and size of the attack combined with the speed, that seated officer did not have sufficient speed to dodge it at normal speed or the power to block it. His only hope was Shunpo. Yet to Shunpo would mean he had to smash through the ceiling, through a wall, or through the door behind him. Either way he was leaving battered by the bruises of smashing through something since there was not sufficient time to use powers to make a hole for himself. Punching his body through was the only option. Nothing he could craft could block it either. Even if he made it through the walls, there was a chance that the Cero would wash over him and create burns. It was that large. "The more I am delayed the more Shinigami will be killed by my forces." the masked man declared. "The only way this invasion will be called off is when I have killed those I came for and taken what I want."

Tsukuyomi continued on with the strategy that he had devised to buy him the most time possible against this creature that was slaughtering everything in it's path. He already could tell just from the aura of the individual that he held no mercy and that this battle was going to constantly be one that Tsukuyomi would have to try his best to simply survive. There was virtually no chance for victory or even survival and Tsukuyomi knew that yet still perhaps if he died defending Soul Society none of them would ever learn what he truly was freeing him from the eventually persecution that he knew would come at some point.

Tsukuyomi had only just finished drawing the kanji in the air for fire and sent it off flying towards the hostile foe when he witnessed the individual raise his hand to meet the attack. Tsukuyomi didn't even have to question what the individual was going to do he simply knew that based on the position of his hand whatever it was wouldn't just go through his attack, but he was in danger as well. Constantly training against individuals that could over power his spiritual powers had given Tsukuyomi the training and knowledge that he needed in order to survive against foes that were vastly more powerful than himself and right now all of that training was crystalizing within his soul.

He had to get away from his current position immediately that was the first priority on his mind as he saw the faint glow of red around the hand of the individual and everything became clear as to what he was. "Arrancar!" Tsukuyomi looked as if terror and irritation were fighting within his mind for the title of ruler over his emotional standing about the current situation just as the cero that the creature fired off began to move forward destroying the blue fire of Honshitsu in less than a moment. The cero while massive held so much spiritual power that nothing that stood before it was left so one would figure that Tsukuyomi had been eliminated as well.

However, the young Kawada had more to fight for than just Soul Society or himself he couldn't allow death to claim him today. Executing Senka near the last few milliseconds was enough that Tsukuyomi would move back the way that he came while slicing through the doorways that would have caused damage to him physically by bashing his way through them. He had only just barely gotten out of the blast radius when he realized that he was still alive. He had to still buy as much time as possible which meant if he had to keep risking his life than he would do so, but he had to at least try and make things easier for the Captains.

Turning around and looking back through the way that he had just ran by using Senka Tsukuyomi could see that everything was ruined nothing was left that had been in the path of the cero. However, this also meant that he knew where the Arrancar was going to move as he knew his destination. Moving Honshitsu upwards Tsukuyomi began to draw in the air once again this time making a different kanji not one of an element yet one of warning for this monster. The kanji of danger was one of the easiest in Tsukuyomi's opinion to write as it consisted of three lines at the top over two lines in the middle and then what many would mistake as a square at the bottom that's lower line wasn't connected to the side and moved away from the other lines.

The kanji would rush forwards just as the last one had yet this time the target wasn't the Arrancar. Instead the blue fire if it managed to reach where Tsukuyomi had been standing would cover the ground across the entrance further into the Division where no doubt the Captain Commander was waiting for this Arrancar. The blue fire would appear to do nothing more than cover the ground that had already been torn apart and scorched black by the cero which would leave the point vague or simply not worth finding out. Tsukuyomi knew what Honshitsu's ability truly was though and using it on the ground would only cause one thing to happen. The ground would no longer serve it's purpose.

This Arrancar was without a doubt strong enough to be unaffected or harmed by the blue fire of Honshitsu the only thing that might actually effect him being the heat produced by the flames that wouldn't be able to prevent his movement. Tsukuyomi was actually hoping that knowing so the Arrancar would simply overlook or rather ignore the presence of his zanpakuto's fire. The true purpose of what he had just done was that now any who would set foot on an area covered by the blue fire would not only suffer the heat or burns if it was possible, but would also start to stink into the ground itself at this point like a swamp. This all was possible because of Honshitsu's ability to weaken the purpose of whatever it touches making the ground what all creatures walk upon a swamp that would grab ahold of everything instead.

Tsukuyomi though had to try and do something else because he knew that while it might buy a few extra seconds this Arrancar even if he fell for what he had just done which wasn't likely he would just keep progressing. That's why Tsukuyomi had already swung Mikoto creating another white moon from the silver crescent blade. This was his own moon something that he hated to admit as the others had been destroyed by the cero that this Arrancar had fired out at him a few moments ago. Tsukuyomi waved Mikoto manipulating the moon to travel upwards in the air at a speed of 500 while staying close to the remaining walls so as to reduce the possibility of being seen. His maneuvers were set up all he had to do now was wait to see the Arrancar approach where he had been standing for the next stage of his survival to delay this Arrancar.

The masked man stared in shock, amazed by the foolish attempt of his opponent. As had been previously noted, the seated officer did not have sufficient time to make a hole for himself before getting hit. Making a hole took time, especially if it meant cutting one open with a sword, and at regular speed cutting. Even during a step technique, one would have had to cut at regular speed. A hole did not simply form by moving a sword through a wall while moving quickly. It had to be made circular or in a box so that it could be busted through. That had been the first error. The second had been the choice of step. He had used Senka, which was an attack which exclusively took the user toward their opponent so as to attempt to take the back and attack the soul chain. However Senka was like Shunpo in that it was not teleportation. It was fast movement, as all step techniques were. To use it he had to move toward the Arrancar.

Moving toward the Arrancar had been foolish. Not only did mastery of the Cero mean that it was produced and released with far less time than any normal Cero, but it was huge and the distance was already only twenty feet. The Shinigami would have only had a split second to realize what was happening. Perhaps this was what had led to his error in judgment. He had used Senka, and this would not take him away. It would bring him toward the masked man. Using his own heightened speed against the huge Cero that had released more quickly than a regular Cero meant he had closed the gap even more quickly. This gave him even less time to try to cut a hole through the wall. That did not matter, since the Senka technique was a pre plotted trajectory and would not even have taken him toward a wall or door. It would have taken him toward the masked man alone. He possessed neither adequate speed nor adequate skill to wait until the last milliseconds, use Senka, and try to cut entirely through a door in mid step and still get out of the blast radius.

The Cero also had not only gone to one wall. It had gone through and destroyed several. Even if the seated officer cut through one and managed to get away from that room he was not out of range. The Cero was the size of an apartment complex. He would have had to cut through every single wall on the way to the final bordering one. He would have needed much more speed, he would have needed to act without waiting until milliseconds before being hit, and he would have had to use Shunpo and Shunpo Karin both several times. Instead he used Senka while having neither the time nor speed or use of techniques to do anything. Yet the masked man took pity on the inferior Shinigami and decided to give him an excuse as he died. A last hope that would burn out as he turned into ashes. The masked man exerted gravitational pressure at the same time as the Shinigami was in mid Senka, stopping and crushing him into the floor.

It was so intense and sudden that nothing would save the Shinigami, whose class difference with the Arrancar meant his consciousness was all but erased by the crushing gravitational force. However, the gravitational force had not been needed. The Shinigami's error of calculation had been what doomed him. The Cero struck Tsukuyomi and incinerated him into ashes instantly. He had guided himself into that position. He was killed without putting up any fight. This stopped any further attacks or actions because the dead could not perform them. In the wake of the ashes that were left of that seated officer, the masked man stepped forward toward the next room. Many rooms had been destroyed to the sides and in front of the masked man. Therefore he stepped forward and continued his movement toward his inevitable opponent. The masked man started to sense them now... two Vice Captains that had succeeded in taking down many Mod Soul soldiers that had been trying to stall them. As he arrived, the masked man spoke to the two Vice Captains after stepping past Tsukuyomi's ashes.

"So it's you. Good. Your father will lose what remains of his world today."

Tsukuyomi could only execute a step technique shoftly after he had seen the red glow around the hand of this Arrancar begin and yet by that poiint it seemed that he was already to late no matter what type of technique he could execute. As he moved at an accelerated speed to try and put as must distance away from where he had been standing and width of the cero Tsukuyomi could feel the heat of the spiritual blast on his skin as his clothing began to burn away.

All it of only lasted over the few milleseconds that Tsukuyomi was still alive and yet during those few small moments he could feel more pain than he had experienced throughout all of his life. The feeling and sensation of not only his clothinng being burned away, but also his skin as his flesh was exposed and then following suit even the small refined muscles in his body that had developed through the constant activity of high speed movement and acrobatic feats was reduced to nothing more than ashes.

The spiritual power of this Arrancar was simply to vast and Tsukuyyomi hasd no tricks that could close that gap. Both of his zanpakuto suffered the same fate as his body as the both of them began to heat up and within a few milleseconds they melted being reduced to nothing more than molten super heated spiritual metal that now would cover the ground around the ashes that had once been a young Kawada.
