Irene sat in the wheelchair that she had been given by Soul Society to spend the rest of her life confined too. At the moment she was outside sitting at the edge of a bridge that overlooked the small river that ran through Karakura Town. She had only been in this town for a short time and while she felt like she had made her way throughout the majority of it this was her favorite spot so far. At the same time though it was her worst spot. For all it sought to accomplsih was make her even more depressed. The river brought back memories of all of her children playing in the water with their smiles.
It wasn't like there were any tears though how could there be after what had happened to her. There had been times when others had remarked on her natural beauty and that had been taken away from her like everything else. Her power, her family, even her beauty had all been stripped away by others who sought to hurt for the sake of pelasure or gain. Irene was tired of dealing with it all and trying to protect others only to end up in failure and now she truly had become a Failure. A disgrace of a race that no one could understand for the grave danger they posed was unstable and lethal.
Now she couldn't walk now could she see. She had no home nor any family members left. All she had was her wheelchair to accompy her on the pathway of despair that is her life. None of it was fair for she deserved so much more than what she could call herself right now. Since the time of her existence she had always sought to help others and yet there was no happy ending for her as this wasn't a fairy tale it was only reality.
A reality that was cruel and unforgiving as even now it seemed to rub in her face how far she had fallen. Her sense of hearing should just go away she felt right now as if it would help deal with the pain that was running throughout her soul. The sound of the children down by the river splashing happily in the water together. They were truly happy and sought no power, sought no revenge they held no anger towards anyone they had true life.
It was more painful than anything else Irene had ever experienced having to sit there in her wheelchair unable to block out the sounds of joy that were essentially breaking her apart all over again from the inside. Images of her parents and children flashing throughout her mind all of their smiles followed by the sight of all of the death. She was no hero even after all her efforts nor was she fit to call herself a parent even though she had been one in a life that had been taken from her.
Irene was falling deeper and deeper into the depress that had engulfed her soul ready to wheel herself back to the monastery that she was being allowed to stay at in Karakura. At least there she could sit in silence forever without having to be reminded of everything she lost. As her pale white hands touched the rubber of her wheelchair though the scent of something else was picked up and Irene hesitated. Something else was down there she could hear it.

The snake had been wandering through the area looking for a nice area to lie and go sunning. She had eaten a fair amount and was sated for now. However, as she headed for the normal bright bridge with the warm sun shining overhead, children had been playing splashing excitedly. The snake with her beast like mentality had found this to be an invasion of territory. The children may have been oblivious to this, but the failure above the bridge may have been able to hear the hollow howl below. The snake had seen the children ignore the Hollow's warning howl and in fact...they continued to have a jolly good time. Guerrero would stare at the children to see what odd thing they were doing before quickly losing interest. She in her mind had come to the solution that she must eat the children to gain her territory back.
The sounds of screams would fill the area as a young girl had been lifted by the tail of the giant winged snake. Guerrero was a snake with green scales and wings of a matching color. Her fangs had been bared at the young child as she kicked back and forth. Sticking her tongue out, she would hiss before slowly squeezing the life out of the child in front of her. The child would gag and hold at her throat as the other children would scream in terror. They began to run away as a loud Hollow's roar would fill the area. This should surely alert the failure in her wheelchair up above.
Guerrero had held the child above her mouth as then a small silent crack would ring through the area. The girls neck had snapped and had been twisted in a odd position as there was no more struggling. The hollow had swallowed the body whole as she rested along the floor. Now she could sun in peace...or so she believed. She wasn't aware of the spiritually rich food above her and so she began to digest the young child whom was unfortunate enough to reach her grasp. The snake wasn't evil but was simply unable to comprehend the human nature and world she lived in. She hadn't been sated from such a small meal however. She wanted something more rich in energy.
Looking to the running water and current, she would stare at the occasional fish that swam by wondering what they tasted like. She didn't really sense any spiritual value in them however. The snake had lazily coiled as the sun shined down a brilliant Aura although at some point she had felt hot. She probably needed some shade from the heat to cool off. The snake hollow would never have guessed she would reach into battle today, but then again...it was always a possibility for a Hollow. Everything wanted to kill Hollow. Even other Hollow wanted to kill and devour Hollow. Thus Guerrero stuck to herself and normally ate everything that she saw as a threat. She learned and identified all the many enemies around her and what she should be fearful for.

This was a priblem and for some reason even after everything that Irene had gone through her basic nature was telling her that she needed to prevent the death of this little girl and her family from the Hollow that was getting ever closer to her. Irene had done so throughout the last hundred years always trying to protect those that couldn't protect themselves and everytime after first succeeding she was lead to failure. It was that failure that gave way to her current state of both physically and emotionally.
She had sworn that her days of getting involved in the problems of the spiritual world were over and yet her right hand moved up from her wheelchair without her thinking and in the next instant based off the sound that the Hollow was making while it moved Irene was able to locate it and fire off a single small bolt of lightning from her index finger. She had barely even thought about such a thing though not casting the incantation or thinking of why she was going to prevent the natural order once again. It just all seemed to happen for one reason or another that was beyond her understanding.
In the next instant the bolt of lightning would strike the ground between the snake and the small girl causing the ground to burn and the loud sound of thunder to boom throughout the area. While the humans including the little girl couldn't see the Hollow that was right near her it couldn't be further from the truth about what had just happened. There had been lightning and it had struck right near the small child causing her to run away in fear towards her father who would grab ahold of her and start to run back to their home uncertain about the situation and why or how lightning had just struck without a cloud in the sky.
Irene couldn't tell how powerful this Hollow was all she could tell was it's scent and the sound that it had been making which wasn't enough to know if she was getting herself into a situation that could somehow leave her even worse off then she already was currently and yet in truth that didn't seem possible to the blind woman. "Go somewhere else leave Karakura alone." Irene shouted from her wheelchair down towards the snake unable to actually make her way down there herself due to her crippled body. Would the Hollow listen though or was this problem going to continue.

As the snake was approaching the child, she had been stopped by the sound of thunder as a bolt of lightning stopped her. The child whom Guerrero planned on eating had ran away from her sight along with her parent as well as the other children. She had heard a voice from above her that had spoke to her. She has listened carefully trying to comprehend the words spoken. "Go somewhere else leave Karakura alone." The snake had tilted her head in confusion as it tried to comprehend the words spoken to it. The first thing she understood was that it was some sort of warning, and seeing that the figure seemed to want to stop Guerrero from eating that child, it wanted her not to eat? The snake had flapped it's scaly wings as it had created a light breeze of wind before flying into the sky.
There she had seen it, the woman in the wheel chair. Something rich in spiritual energy for her to devour if she so wished. However, the snake only stared before slowly flapping it's wings and landing next to the failure as it would attempt to speak. "I...am Guerrero." The snake had been trying to push her vocabulary so that she may try to communicate with the human, but was coming up with blanks due to her lack of intelligence. She assumed that this woman was a Shinigami seeing that's the only other race whom had ever shot lightning at her. "You...Shinigami? No hurt Guerrero again..."
The snake seemed neutral enough at the moment although her being was growing hungry especially in the pressence of this...scrumptious being. Lowering her head, she had tapped the wheelchair with her head trying to understand what it was...what was its purpose? The snake had stuck out her tongue several times as if sensing the surrounding for danger and then sniffing. At that point, her eyes dilated as they became more snake like. She was going mad from being in the woman's pressence. The snake had suddenly hissed as an acidic like spit had been released from her throat to attack the woman. If her wheel chair would be sprayed, it would begin to melt at the corrosive spray whilst the woman would simply feel a burning sensation all across her skin.
The snake had been friendly enough like a pet, but now her hollow instincts and mindlessness had taken over as she hungered. A Hollow's voice had cried out as the snake had began to circle around the woman. The snake would devour this woman and assimilate her into herself. The little human mentality there had been dissipated as all there was...was the insatiable hunger of a beast. She wasn't thinking clearly as she thought of nothing else but devouring this unlucky hero.

Irene listened from the position on the bridge that she was sitting at as the lightning that she had cast only a moment ago from her finger tip struck the ground causing terror to overtake the small children and their parents. She hadn't been able to hear anything as the lightning had been fired from her finger until a moment after it had struck the ground. While doing so was a disadvantage and put herself at risk Irene in truth hadn't even thought about casting the kido. All of this had been a subconcious reaction to knowing that the small child was about to be eaten by a hollow.
Irene couldn't tell the location of the Hollow at this specific point due to the fact that it was only moving a small amount and while her ears could pick up on nearly anything the distance was simply to vast to pick up on such sutble movements as turning it's head. However, that didn't matter for long as the Hollow extended something or moved a section of it's body that did make sound. Irene was able to location it and realize that it hadn't actually moved from where it had been when she fired off the bolt of lightning.
A new sound was than picked up though by Irene one that she didn't recongize right away as the sound got closer and closer meaning that the Hollow was getting closer to her. It was when she realized that fact that she managed to figure out the sound that was coming from the Hollow. Irene realized that this Hollow must have a set of wings that would enable it to fly for that was what she was hearing right now the sound of wings flapping in the air which would allow it to get closer to her at the rate it was while she had been so much higher up than it had been.
Irene had no reason to fight the Hollow now that she had gotten it away from the children and everyone else in the area aside from herself. She was no longer a Shinigami nor did she have a zanpakuto which meant that if she killed this Hollow it would be destroyed. Irene couldn't sentence a soul to nothingness not after watching so many souls perish. She had taken a vow to never kill after she had become a Failure and in truth she didn't even want to be apart of the Spiritual World anymore for she felt she had nothing to offer anyone, but more failure. It seemed this Hollow wished to speak with her though as it introduced itself as Guerrero.
It seemed though that this Hollow believed Irene to be a Shinigami. Irene knew that if this Hollow believed that it meant that it was unable to sense reiatsu or at least not well enough to sense how her reiatsu was constantly changing a small amount from what felt like a shinigami to the other major spiritual races such as Hollow and Quincy. The Hollow began to push it's head against the right side of Irene's wheelchair. Irene couldn't really understand why it would be doing this, but decided that it didn't really matter as she started to hear something else.
She began to hear the sound of the Hollow's stomach growing making sounds that she had heard in the past that came from so many of her children while they had been hungry. Irene sighed as she realized what was about to take place right here on the bridge the place in Karakura that she seemed to like the most so far. As the Snake extended her tongue out over and over again Irene could smell the acidic scent from within her mouth as the connection was made to the open air. Irene had to make a choice was she going to allow this Hollow to attack her and kill them both or would she do her best to survive another dreadful day.
As the Hollow brought it's tongue back into it's mouth for the last time and then opened it's mouth to release it's acid suddenly it would be surrounded by what seemed to be thick white fog. Everything within the fog suddenly became heavier much heavier than it had been before even the bridge began to make sounds as if it would start to break at any moment from this mysterious fog. The acid that the snake had began to spit out from it's serpent mouth was pushed down it's chin and in front of it burning the bridge surface yet not reaching quite far enough to touch Irene or her wheelchair.
"You should return to the desert Guerrero Manipuladora. In the white desert there will be plenty of food for you to hunt and eat so that one day you might regain your intelligance. Leave Karakura Town and all the innocent souls that live in the Human World alone or else the next time when someone finds you. You won't be allowed to keep living." Irene positioned her hands on the sides of her wheelchair and began to turn herself and start to move slowly away from where she had been located. She was moving to the left acting as if it was over, but by the time she got fifty feet away from the snake all of the white fog would return into her body leaving the Hollow to do whatever it wished. Would it attack her again anyway or would it listen to her advice?

As the snake had attempted to vomit at the woman, she had suddenly felt a crushing pressure on her as she had been brought to the floor with her head slowly cracking into the cmeant of the bridge. Her mouth was opened as her head leaned sideways. The acid had burned a small hole into the stone as the woman in the wheel chair seemed to use this power on her. She wasn't feeling very pleasant as the weight was...powerful to say the least. She hissed as she tried to lift her head succeeding mere inches before her head was slammed yet again into the ground. What dark magic was this?
She received some sort of warning from the woman in the wheel chair, and as she wheeled herself away, the Hollow would find at one point or another, the crushing pressure dissappeared. The masked snake had howled in the air rather loudly as she flapped her wings into the air. She would not cease the attack, but now took a different approach. Flapping her wings, she had flown up into the sky high above the wheel chair woman. Her logic dictated that up high above the woman, the fog could not reach high distances. She was approximately 25 feet in the air but prepared to fly higher if needed. She had witnessed the fog could travel very long, but could it go that same distance upwards?
As she flew towards the wheelchair woman, the snake had flown even higher to nearly 35 feet. It was then she had vomited a large amount of acidic spit in front of her path. Seeing she was blind, she most likely wouldn't know the acidic spit was there until it hit the ground. It would then sizzle and crackle on the bridge before suddenly the woman would find a horde of scale knife projectiles heading her way. They flew at a speed of 600 as did the acid to their locations. The scales would attempt to hit the back of her chair as well as some missing to impale into the bridge.
From the inaccuracy of her aim up here, the snake had wondered if she had won her prey. If the woman were to have her chair hit, it would be broken in the back and the bottom. From the force of these scales hitting the chair at the same time, it should make her fall out of the chair, and plop right into the acidic spit. What was rather fortunate for the woman was that those with a superior offensive class and or offensive stat, would be immune to this acidic substance. Seeing Irene had a far higher offensive stat than the snake, even upon falling into the liquid, she would feel utterly nothing from it despite the fact that the concrete under her would seemingly melt.

Irene had used her newly acquired flood ability to pressure the snake like Hollow down onto the surface of the bridge and warned the beast that it was wise to go back into the dimension of the Hollows and hunt there and not in Karakura. Irene knew that normally there was at least one active duty Shinigami in Karakura and if the Hollow didn't leave Karakura soon then that Shinigami was likely to find her and eliminate her. Irene knew that in reality the soul of the Hollow would end up being purified and sent into Soul Society, but that wasn't something she wished upon anyone anymore.
She had formally been not only a Shinigami, but she had lived a long time in the Rukongai Districts of Soul Society and knew first hand what most of the souls sent there were going to experience. It wasn't what many would envision as Heaven and it wasn't what the humans in the temple prayed to find upon their deaths. It was simply further suffering in a reality that brought nothing other than false hope and sorrow. It seemed though that either the Hollow was going to ignore Irene's warning or that its mind had become so savage it couldn't understand her.
Irene had been moving away from the Hollow moving her wheelchair like any other cripple by using her arms to push the wheels of her chair forwards. She had just gotten fifty feet away from the location where the Hollow had been forced down upon the bridge and now as her white fog returned into her body it seemed the Hollow hadn't learned its lesson. It took quickly to the sky and Irene could hear the loud sound of it's wings flapping through the air giving away it's location as it looked down upon her from the new vantage point.
Suddenly Irene heard the sound of the snake inhaling more so than it had naturally meaning that it was going to do something involving its mouth. Just as she had predicted Irene could hear the sound of liquid moving through the air towards her the sound getting louder and louder the closer it got to her. Irene had stopped her movements a few moments prior meaning that she was in no danger of being hit by the spit of the Hollow yet she wasn't the true target in the first place. The small section of the bridge in front of Irene had been hit with the spit and now Irene could hear the sound of the metal dissolving.
"Acidic abilities . . well it's a snake so I guess that makes sense." thought Irene as she heard something else coming from up above her as the snake Hollow flapped it's wings again yet this time something strange was off about the sound. Irene had been listening to the sounds that the Hollow was making in order to keep her focus on her at all times and yet right now the flapping of her wings sounded heavier as if it was trying to hit something with her wings. That's when Irene heard the sounds of something cutting through the air.
She couldn't tell what the Hollow had done, but she knew that something was coming towards her and fast and it was time to move. Irene knew that her movements were limited and right now wished more than anything else to be able to preform Shunpo once again in order to secure her safety yet reality wouldn't allow itself to wrap into her dreams. Her legs were never going to be usable again and she would never be able to move swiftly upon the ground ever again. That didn't mean that she was a sitting duck though.
Irene had been moving over the last few weeks in her wheelchair and in that time she had learned how to move accurately in the device that enabled her to visit Karakura Town outside of the temple. Both of her hands were already placed on the wheels of her chair and now she pulled on both of them quickly and with all of her strength causing her chair to move in reverse. Irene would move backwards further into the middle of the bridge away from the acidic spit yet as she got about two feet backwards her time was nearly up and she had only put her actual body in danger now.
Suddenly though Irene's left hand would push forward on the wheel while her right hand pulled backwards once again causing her chair to shift actually turning her entirely to the left in the same manner as a car making the first phase of a three point turn. In the moment that followed the scales that had flown downwards towards her passed in front of her body until they struck the surface of the bridge right over by the acidic spit that was burning a hole through the steel bridge. Although she didn't wish pain upon anyone she had to make sure that this Hollow wouldn't cause her to explode or else all of Karakura would be destroyed.
So raising her left hand towards the Hollow Irene cast the lightning kido Byakurai from her index finger. She was able to tell the exact location of the Hollow simply by hearing the location of the wings flapping in the air. While the Hollow was trying to stay far up in the air so that it wouldn't be effected should Irene unleash her Flood once again it was also giving away it's location so long as it continued to flap it's wings and make sound that Irene could hear. The lightning bolt would be fast yet small and thin making it relatively easy to evade, but Irene hoped that the Hollow would simply give up after seeing that her last attacks hadn't been enough.

This never finished, yet is reported. Do you want a partial grade on it then?
