OOC: This is a social thread between Douma and Kazura. It will begin in the Uzaki Enterprise headquarters, although it can move anywhere from that point onward.
A lot of people walk in and out of the doors of Uzaki Enterprise every day. The security cameras in the ground floor caught all activity in the lobby, recording their footage if they needed to be referenced in the future. Even then, there were many guards stationed around the lobby, most of them generally bored and waiting for their shifts to end. Some were vaguely attentive and kept their eyes out.
But they definitely felt that something fishy was going on when a strange man walked in. Maybe it was his menacing mask. Or it could have been the dark look in his eyes, one crimson red and one as pale as bone. They probably didn’t like the fact that he was dressed in all black, or that he had a sword at his waist. In fact, he didn’t just draw the attention of security. All spiritually aware individuals in the lobby were shooting him weird looks while the ordinary humans went on normally, oblivious to his existence.
The least menacing thing about Douma was the girl by his side. She had average height, had long black hair tied in pig tails, and wore a cut red top and black skirt. She did have a handgun tucked at her waist, but even then, Douma was far more fearsome. While they did enter quietly, things didn’t stay that way. Suddenly, the rogue’s reiatsu flexed, his dark aura expanding and consuming the room, causing all spiritual beings to shiver in fear and freeze with terror.
Suddenly, they all fell to the floor. Even the regular humans. Douma’s gravitational pressure sent them crashing down into a deep sleep. There were a few with notable strength, but none were powerful enough to withstand his presence. Douma showed mercy to one woman, the strongest of the security group. He kept her awake, although she was still forced to the ground. The young woman who entered with Douma skipped up to the security guard, smiling cheerfully.
“Hi hi,” she greeted her energetically. “Sorry for all the trouble, but don’t worry. Everyone will be okay. I just have to ask you for a tiny little favor. The guy behind me is going to take the pressure off you in a few seconds so that you can go to the security room and delete all of the footage your cameras collected. Just keep those cameras off for the next few hours, please. Thanks!”
She began heading toward the elevators, a skip in her step and a wide smile on her face. The two individuals entered the elevator, pressed the key, and were almost on their way up. But just when the door was about to close, the weird girl with pigtails called out to the guard who had just regained her ability to breath easily. “Oh, and don’t freak out or anything. We have an appointment!”
Kazura Uzaki definitely felt Douma arrive. He was probably the only person in the entire building at the moment who was unaffected by Douma’s gravitational pressure. He was supposed to be meeting a potential investor right about then, but instead, it seemed that an attack was eminent. As Douma and his companion arrived on the floor of Kazura’s office, they’d likely see the young CEO prepared to engage them if necessary. Just in case Kazura chose to launch an attack first, Douma had his hands up as a sign of non-aggression.
“My apologies, Kazura Uzaki, but I would prefer if no one learned of my presence here,” Douma began calmly. “I believe you should have been expecting me. We were to have a meeting in your office, I believe.” Kazura might realize at this point that Douma was the anonymous donor he was scheduled to meet with. “I’m sure you realize that this time, I am here for my own motives, not on Anarchy’s request.
"The woman beside me is Alice Holland, a partner of mine. I hope you don’t mind if she attends our meeting. Let us move into your office.” Douma had an air of confidence around him. He seemed to act like he controlled the entire situation, but Kazura could be sure of one thing. Douma meant no harm. No body had lost their life or been injured. If Douma wanted a fight, he wouldn’t have taken an elevator to Kazura’s floor either. No, he meant to talk. That much could be certain. It was up to Kazura whether or not he wanted to humor the Angel of Silence.

Kazura had seen many donors and investors of late, few choosing to remain anonymous. For this reason today's meeting was especially interesting to him, at least enough to warrant a few of his brain cycles to devote to thinking about. Most investors wanted to be as loud as possible, especially those who wanted to lobby for various groups and countries. Most donors wanted to be as loud as possible, especially those who wanted big tax breaks or special privileges. Take Katrina for example, the attractive Shinigami who continuously supplied him with free things to study but wanted his creative genius in return. True, there was Taien who had yet to ask for anything in return, but there would come a day when that favor was returned, for sure.
It was strange how little information there was about the meeting that was scheduled. It was a bit unnerving and a bit exciting all at the same time. It may just turn out to be a boring business deal, but his presence was known in the spiritual community. He now had connections to Xcution and Satsujun (regardless of the fact that Satsujun was on the superior end of these connections at the moment) and he had even heard rumors of there being a bounty on his head among some of the factions of the worlds. He had gained power not just on a personal level, but in that of his subordinates and allies. He had his fingers in all the jars of cookies, forming minor alliances with many members of many factions... It was only a matter of time before the webs he formed entangled himself.
As the hour to the appointment approached, Kazura felt a sickly reiatsu fill his building. Swearing at the fact that a good portion of his employees were in Russia, another good portion in Australia, and the rest on assignment elsewhere or simply pursuing their own tasks, Kazura prepared for the worst. It wasn't a pressure that had an effect on him, but it was fairly equivalent to the fullbringer's power. That meant nothing in terms of initial observations of strength, so the assailant could easily be capable of neutralizing the entire building if the CEO didn't put a stop to it. He drew his guns, which felt woefully inadequate lately, and prepared his office for war.
He flipped his desk to act as cover and trained both of his guns on the door. His reiatsu was at the ready in case he needed Push or Chakra or Stand to defend the office which kept many a secret at the moment. The pressure seemed to stop, but something was definitely wrong. All of the cameras suddenly turned off and the two spiritual beings approached in the elevator. The Fullbringer steeled his resolve only to have his office door opened by a familiar mask. One of the men Anarchy had introduced to him and a cute girl next to him. Kazura fixed his desk and retrieved the strewn papers using Soul Command and fixed his wrinkled suit.
"Definitely the most dramatic entrance so far, but at least you had enough respect for me to use the front door, unlike most of my visitors... Please, both of you take a seat."
"Definitely the most dramatic entrance so far, but at least you had enough respect for me to use the front door, unlike most of my visitors... Please, both of you take a seat."
Douma silently accepted Kazura’s invitation, walking into the office and taking a seat across the desk from the human. Alice also entered the office, but with a little bit more noise and activity. Rather than taking a seat, she bolted for the window that overlooked Karakura. “Wow, you’ve got a nice view here Kazura.” Her eyes left the window and began to look him over. “You know, I was expecting some old rich guy, but you’re pretty handsome.” Alice shot the CEO a coy half-smile, swinging her hands innocently behind her. It appeared that she wore her emotions on her sleeves.
But Douma paid his companion no mind. He seemed to ignore her flirtatious attitude completely. “I am here strictly for business, so let’s not waste time. You cannot continue to expand as you have been in the human world. Xcution is far too dominant in this realm. Soul Society, however, it vast and far larger than your world. Hueco Mundo is barren on the surface, but I have found that it hides some fruitful resources as well. But as Uzaki Enteprise is, it does not have the ability to freely travel across all three worlds.
But I can change that. What can you offer me in return?”

Kazura smiled at the thinly veiled (if not hidden at all) flirting coming from Douma's companion. He would have flirted back, but the man in the mask was just so dark and brooding that the inventor thought it incredibly unwise in the current moment. Especially with the Rogue moving past her comments immediately into the business side of things. He didn't hide anything either. He directly offered Kazura a way to cross into all three worlds, for a price of course. The fullbringer thought for a moment. Such a thing could be huge if he ever felt threatened by the Soul Society... Then again, it could cause much more problems than it was worth.
Kazura did already have full access to Hueco Mundo, which was good. He had yet to fully develop the land he secretly had control of in that world, but he had sole access from what he could see and sense. He had yet to set foot in the Soul Society, and if it was as vast as Douma said then there could be a lot of research to be had there. But it was incredibly dangerous on two fronts. On the one hand, the Soul Society would easily detect any intrusion onto their soil. On the other hand, if Zeich found out that Kazura could breach his old home... The backlash could be great. Kazura didn't yet know the full extent of Zeich's loyalty to the Seireitei, but he did know that the Vizard was still sensitive about being a former Shinigami. A sentiment Douma didn't seem to share.
"At the moment, I can't see anything of value that I would have that would be worth what you are offering. Not to mention, it seems to come at too high a price for me to justify procuring extra funds to pay for. I do already have access to Hueco Mundo, and the Soul Society is a bit too risky to expand into. It's not what is best for my company at the moment. Is there anything else you came to say?"
Behind his mask, Douma almost smiled. His amusement didn’t reach his lips, but it was certainly present. “You misunderstand, Kazura Uzaki. I am not coming here to suggest that you expand. I came to warn you that you have no other choice.” As Douma spoke, Alice wandered behind Kazura, peering over his shoulder at the files on his desk. After skimming through some paperwork, she began to reach for the drawers by the CEO, innocently searching for any interesting documents.
“I sought this meeting with the intention to establish a mutually beneficial relationship because you are in dire need of one. I’m sure you know that there is a bounty placed on your head, but what you may not realize is that I have the same price tag on mine. I have invaded Soul Society multiple times, killed a Captain of the Gotei 13, and collaborate with many of Soul Society’s greatest enemies. You have enemies who value your death as much as mine, many of which are more powerful than the both of us.
“Your only option is to grow as quickly as you can to combat these new threats. You may not be ready for Soul Society now, but you will need to get there soon. Until then, I can provide you with intelligence from the underworlds in all three dimensions and help you gather spiritual resources not available to you in the Human World. In exchange, I would like access to your manufacturing facilities. My associate snooping in your desk is quite knowledgeable regarding spiritual chemical engineering. You two may be able to collaborate on valuable projects together.
I do hope you consider my offer seriously. We have many of the same enemies and so few allies in comparison. I would be pleased if we can ‘even the playing field.’”

Kazura had no problems letting Alice snoop through his documents. Anything that would be of any real worth was kept in locations of much higher security. Like his Batcave that was a World away from HQ. She would see a lot of patent requests and other such boring paperwork. While her hand moved towards the drawer, however, Kazura moved quickly to grab her hand, raise it to his lips, then place it back on the drawer handle. The drawer she had picked was literally empty, save for the opening to a pneumatic tube at the back of it.
Kazura listened to Douma and processed all that the Rogue was saying in record time, responding immediately with a well thought out reply. "Now there's an offer I am more interested in. You borrow my manufacturing, and I get some collaboration with this lovely chemist? I've had some things I've needed some help on anyways..." Kazura trailed off as his mind raced with all sorts of plans he had that would take more chemical engineering knowledge than he had. Solids that were liquid when a current was ran through them, liquids that expanded ten or more times their size when cooled to a solid... So many applications for simple substances that could be invented or improved by a chemist.
"While I appreciate your concern in that you believe I should expand into the Soul Society, for now I will just leave that on the drawing board in the back of my mind. My company, first and foremost, protects humans. I can't do that from the Soul Society. I need to stay here and work, at this point in time. Your business, however, will be welcome."
Douma did not react to Kazura’s words. He was not happy with his new arrangement with the head of Uzaki Enterprise. No, it was only satisfactory and nothing more. “Then I will be in contact with you soon, Kazura Uzaki.” The Angel of Silence placed a black smart phone on the human’s desk, although it clearly had a more secure line of communication than a traditional iPhone. “Or you can reach out to me as well. Our agreement does not have exclusive provisions. If you ever need to ask for more than the provisions we discussed, I’m sure that I can arrange for appropriate compensation. And vice versa.”
Douma rose from his seat, preparing to leave. “Alice,” he called to his companion, who had her affectionate sapphire eyes trained on the human from the second he referred to her as a ‘lovely chemisty.’ “Time to go.” Unless Kazura had anything more to say, the rogue and bount would go down the elevator and exit the building through the front. It wasn’t until they were well outside Uzaki Enterprise’s walls that Douma gave Alice a tacit, accusing look.
“What?” she asked innocent. “You make me follow you around for a dull meeting like that and expect me not to get bored?”
