You will see subsection to each guide. They will appear as such...
BBCode:
The actual instructions of what you should write in your posts. Utilizing ( ) parenthesis in place of the [ ] brackets that are required, so that you can actually see what the finished product should look like.
What it will look like:
Here will be an example, using the correct coding method of [ ] brackets instead of ( ) parenthesis.
Happy learning!
Enhancing Text
Here is everything you need to know to improve the look of your words, and give them more life!
Bold, Italics, Underline, and Striking
BBCode:
This text has some (b)boldness(/b) in it!
This text has some (i)italicized emphasis(i) on it!
This text is (u)underlined(/u).
This text is (s)struck out(/s).
What it will look like:
This text has some boldness in it!
This text has some italicized emphasis on it!
This text is underlined.

Recoloring
The most important thing to remember about recoloring, is that there are two different coding styles that the site recognizes. (color=red)Your text here.(/color) and (font color="red")Your text here.(/font) IF you use the "font color=" method, then you MUST use quotation marks(" "). WARNING: If you click the "Preview" tab when posting or editing a post on the site, it will AUTOMATICALLY turn all of your (color=X)(/color) codes into the (font color="X")(/font) variation. Be careful.
This useful website is my recommendation for all your color splotching needs!
BBCode:
(color=red)This text is red.(/color)
(color=dodgerblue)This text is dodgerblue.(/color)
(color=ffff00)This text is yellow.(/color)
What it will look like:
This text is red.
This text is dodgerblue.
This text is yellow.
Here is where things get fancy. Especially for all you, "my character has split personalities" aficionados! The most important thing to remember is that you must use HEX code for the open, use HEX code for the close. Refer to the website a gave you before.
BBCode:
(smear:ff0000)This text goes from red to blue.(/smear:0000ff)
(smear:c0c0c0)This text goes from silver to gold.(/smear:ffcc00)
What it will look like:
[smear:ff0000]This text goes from red to blue.[/smear:0000ff]
[smear:c0c0c0]This text goes from silver to gold.[/smear:ffcc00]
Resizing
WARNING: "Size" coding follows the same rules as "Color" coding. The site accepts both (size=X)(/size) and (font size="X")(/font) formats. If you use the "Preview" function while posting or editing a post, it will change everything to (font size="X")(/font). Be careful.
BBCode:
(font size="1")This text is size 1 (Kento).(/font)
(font size="2")This text is size 2 (Normal).(/font)
(font size="3")This text is size 3 (Large).(/font)
(font size="4")This text is size 4 (Larger).(/font)
(font size="5")This text is size 5 (Huge).(/font)
(font size="6")This text is size 6 (Huger).(/font)
(font size="7")This text is size 7 (Kento's Leap).(/font)
What it will look like:
This text is size 1 (Kento).
This text is size 2 (Normal).
This text is size 3 (Large).
This text is size 4 (Larger).
This text is size 5 (Huge).
This text is size 6 (Huger).
This text is size 7 (Kento's Leap).
Raising and Lowering
BBCode:
This text is getting (sup)high(/sup).
This text is dropping (sub)low(/sub).
What it will look like:
This text is getting high.
This text is dropping low.
Animation
BBCode:
(move)This text is making its way downtown~(/move)
(marquee)This text is making its way downtown~(/marquee)

Alignment
WARNING: "Alignment" codes follow the same rules as Color and Size. Except worse! Going into preview will transform your coding into (div align="X")(/div). Which is just...what?! Not only do you have to add the codes "div" and "align", but you are also required to use: an equal sign(=), quotations(" "), and the single word designation you started with(right, left, center, justify). Just horrible.
BBCode:
(right)This text is right aligned(/right)
(left)This text is left aligned(/left)
(center)This text is centered(/center)
(justify)This text is justified. That means it will stretch out to try and touch both sides of its container, instead of having a ragged edge on the left or right. It will only do this if there's enough text to stretch without making it hard to read, so I'm using a lot of extra text in this example to make the effect visible.(/justify)
(pre) This allows you to preformat your text. This is the only current way to indent and do other things. Basically, normally Proboards will take away all of your spaces at the beginning of a line to make it left aligned, but pre can do whatever you want.
So you can
have your text
way over here as much as you want.(/pre)
What it will look like:
This text is right aligned
This text is left aligned
This text is centered

Instead of having it left aligned like above where I tried to put all the spaces.
WARNING, if you keep writing to the point where it would move down to the next line, instead it will drift off of the page like this blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
So it's more useful for little words that you want indented, not entire paragraphs.
Block Quotes
BBCode:
(blockquote)Your text here.(/blockquote)
What it will look like:
I honestly have no idea exactly what this does. It seems to work a lot like Justify, but also seems to do something different. All I know is, people use it to create the illusion that their paragraphs are thicker. So enjoy the lifehack!
Dividers
BBCode:
(hr)

Spoilers
The important thing to remember with Spoilers, is the use of { } special brackets! I...I don't know their real name. You will use them to designate what you want your Spoiler Title to be. This will be the text that is seen and must be clicked to reveal everything hidden beneath it. Almost as important as the { } special brackets is the fact they go outside of follow the (spoiler) without being in the [ ] brackets, or linked by an equal sign(=).
BBCode:
(spoiler){Your Title}Your text here.(/spoiler]
What it will look like:
{Your Title}Your text here.

Music
The most important thing to note about this code, is the spacing and the use of inputs such as size="x". Sizes include small, medium, and large on this site. Don't forget to put a space between video and size, nor your equal sign(=) or quotation marks(" ").
