Despite her lack of formal education, Haida had been building up quite the portfolio for herself. At first, she had to find odd jobs at tech places, but eventually, she'd have an opportunity to show off her programming abilities and be hired for what she trained for. Due to her Osen, this had to be started over a few times early on, but now even schools and other notable places were reaching out to her. Due to her personal interest in the location, when she was asked to take a look at the malfunctioning servers of Karakura High School, she accepted as quickly as she could.
It was a tough job, most likely why their on-staff tech people couldn't take care of it, but Haida's life was seldom without a challenge, so she took it on with a grin. Three hours in and that grin was wavering, as she was making progress, but her Osen had caused a crash half-way through, resetting her progress to square one. About 5 hours into her work, she was getting close, but as much as she wanted to continue before anything else could happen, her stomach had urged otherwise. Reluctantly stepping away from her work, she took her lunch and decided to do what she came here to do.
And that was to have lunch at a high-school. She had seen TV shows and cartoons romanticizing the experience of the time spent during lunch period at high-school. The peaceful atmosphere, the friends to talk to, and the home-cooked meals seem to bring everything together. As she anticipated this wonderful experience and sat down with her sandwich and iced coffee, she realized that, 1, she didn't actually have any friends here to talk to, and 2, she kind of sucked at cooking.
Sighing as she unwrapped her sandwich, taking a bite and looking up at the tree that obscured her view, she thought to herself. -At least it's peaceful...- She took another bite before speaking. "So this is what high school is like, huh?"
