Kaze barely had time to react to the spikes attacking him. He leapt backwards, not going very far, but barely giving him the time to reactivate his armor. Three spikes hit him simultaneously the instant his armor went back up, and the tips were grinded off each one. Kaze was pissed now, no two ways about it. This was the closest he'd come to cursing in about a hundred years. "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?" His voice nearly cracking from his anger. The spikes weren't able to harm him any longer now that his armor was back up, but he was mad that he was still trapped.
So he started pacing around the room, running his armor covered hand against the walls, trying to find a weak spot, SOMETHING to get out of this dumb prison faster. He still needed to get back to that one-eyed pirate and tell him about this dumb place. "UGH, why do I get stuck with all the crap jobs!" If Kaze heard or felt anything as he was walking around the room, he would attack it immediately, without hesitation. He was desperate to get out of this dirt box, and he was willing to maim or kill at this point.

The green haired Shinigami seemed to be ready for the space that the Rogue tried to put between herself and the oncoming threat in order to get off the kido that she had been planning on using to defend herself. Suddenly though the ground behind her seemed to rise up on its own and caused the retreat of the Rogue to be foiled as she was taken off guard and forced onto the ground. The Shinigami was right on top of her now without her zanpakuto, but sand seemed to be coming out of nowhere and restraining the Rogue.
The female Rogue knew that with her physical strength she wouldn't be able to get up from the sand prior to this Shinigami getting on top of her. She had to do something else something that would keep this Shinigami from possibly killing her. "Surasorutoiera!" screamed the Rogue as Yetsuna was nearly upon her and the sand began to solidify into stone. Instantly though a sudden pushing force of reiatsu would crush the stone sending it away from the Rogue and sending Yetsuna backwards with a force of 450.
The Rogue had managed to keep Yetsuna away and free herself from the ground that was enclosing around her by using the area thrust kido known as Surasorutoiera. It wasn't a technique that the Rogue liked to use, but it was the only one that came to the front of her mind at the moment of panic. Now though there was at least ten feet between them both and the Rogue was confident she could win if she pressured this Shinigami with kido.
The Rogue pointed in front of her with her right hand "Gouzen Demizu." after she spoke the name of the kido suddenly water would start to pour out from the ground at a rapid rate. It would only take a moment or two, but the Rogue was on her feet and now she raised her right hand and extended it outwards towards the Shinigami. The water would rise up to nearly half the height of the tunnel while covering the full width and it would start to rush towards Yetsuna like a wave.
As for the Mod Soul that had been sent in by Xcution it seemed that the black spiked that shot outwards from the encasing prison of black stone weren't enough to take him off guard. They surprised him, but they weren't enough to take him down as he quickly reactivated his armor of wind causing the spikes to be cut and then retract back into the walls. It was at this point that the Mod Soul began to scream. However, he started to do something different.
He began to make his way around the encasing walls and as he did so he ran his wind encases hand over the surface of the walls causing the scraping sound similar to metal against metal. It would take a few moments, but after about thirty seconds Kaze would see something strange. Suddenly all of the walls instantly returned to the normal brownish color. "Ha!" shouted a voice coming from five feet in front of Kaze. Whoever this was couldn't be accurately said as they were concealed in a brown cloak that hid their features.
What would be important was that the walls were no longer black and this individual was close and was likely the reason for that prison. He would disappear in an instant though running down the tunnel constantly using shunpo to get away from the Mod Soul due to his fear of death. While a family of Rogues no every individual was comfortable with the idea of fighting to the death. It wouldn't matter though as it seemed an old foe had caught up to Kaze.
"There ya are brah. Told ya this would be the last thing for ya." Down the tunnel roughly fifteen feet at the end of it from the side that the other Rogue had just ran down stood the blonde Rogue that had fought Kaze after he had first entered into the cave. His short blonde hair and bear somewhat blackened from his own fire. His right arm would again ignite and then a moment later he would extend his arm outwards sending a column of fire like he had the first time they had fought right towards Kaze.

It seemed that Yetsuna's simple tactic had been effective, as she retreated the rogue tripped over the small wall she had caused to jut out of the ground to trip her. Yetsuna continued to use her powers, causing the sand she had summoned thus far to converge on and cover the girl. Yetsuna could see the panic in the girls face has she began to realize that she was going to lose, she would suddenly call out the name of a kido.
Yetsuna didn't know kido to well, so didn't know what its effects were supposed to be, but whatever it was it seemed to have no effect as the sand continued to wrap around and encase the woman, leaving her head exposed so that she could breathe, but more importantly answer questions. She brought the stone encased girl up vertically so that they were face to face. "You never answered my question. Were you the one who killed those shinigami?" her voice was flat and straight forward, she wanted information both about her comrades fate and the cave network.

The Rogue it seemed couldn't break through what still looked to be sand covering over her body as she tried to get up from the ground of the tunnel. Her kido only managed to move the sand a small amount, but it wasn't enough to actually get it off of her and free her so that she could follow up with her main attack. This sand had to be being controlled by this Shinigami it had to be her shikai and it seemed that it was meant to restrain her so that she wouldn't be able to do anything.
That's exactly what happened over the next few seconds. The Rogue was on the ground and the sand that covered her body solidified into stone making it appear as if it'd be even more difficult to break free from it. The Shinigami got on top of her and asked once more if she had been involved in the slaughter of the other Shinigami. The Rogue beneath the stone simply shook her head from one side to the next denying that she had been involved in their deaths.
"Rikujokoro!" The Rogue shouted as fast as she could and in the next instant six golden rods of light would slam into the sides of the Shinigami that was on top of her. The Shinigami would find herself paralyzed unable to move any of her body parts it would take all she could do just to speak. "I will though be the reason for your death." It was then that black ooze started to seep upwards from the ground that looked to be tar. This wasn't normal though and if it continued like this the Shinigami would more than likely die.
The black ooze that was seeping upwards from the ground was the bakkoto of the Rogue no longer forming itself simply into weapons of tendrils, but using it's true ability. The stone of the ground would seem to crack as everything around the ooze felt frozen. The Rogue would tremble, but for a few moments as she closed her eyes and seemed to embrace her choice. The ooze would start to touch the Shinigami's legs and as it did she would feel as if they were set ablaze as every vein in her legs would explode from her blood turning into ice.

Yetsuna managed to capture the rogue with little resistance after she tried to use her kido. The sand engulfed the entire except for her head, leaving her free to talk, or more specifically answer the shinigami's questions. When pressed the girl she shook her head side to side claiming that she was innocent in their deaths, though for obvious reasons the shinigami had a hard time buying it. She was about to press her further when all of a sudden she would call out another kido.
Yetsuna would find herself paralyzed as several bar of light appeared out of no where and struck her mid section. At the same time the black ooze from before would begin to make its way upward from under the ground, though this time it was different, she could feel the temperature drop in the area immediately as it worked it way up. It seemed this rogue was so desperate that she was willing to sacrifice herself in order to take the green haired shinigami out with her.
The ooze hit her foot and she felt the surge of cold that accompanied it, though her armor managed to keep most of the effects at bay, though she didn't wanna see how long her armor would be able to last. The ground under Yetsuna would rise quickly, erupting out of the ooze and giving her a buff between it and her. With a moment to focus Yetsuna gather her energy, both physical and spiritual and focused it on the task of trying to break to spell.
Yetsuna wasn't 100% her gambit would work, her armor was able to resist almost everything that had been thrown at it so far, including hado's of several occasions, so she figured her armor might let her break the spell. After a few moments of concentration the green haired woman was indeed able to break the binding spell that she had been affected by. Now free of her restraints Yetsuna would turn her focus again to the girl whose stone prison was slowly being engulfed by her own ooze.
Using a raising motion in her hand she would cause the girls prison to lift off of the ground in an attempt to save her, if she was willing to go this far chances were she knew something useful. At the same moment the prison rose the stone would move upwards towards the girls mouth, covering it up and preventing her from speaking, and with it hopefully casting another spell. With the girl secured the shinigami would move the section of earth under her using her powers, propelling her forward and out of the way the ooze.
Once at a safe distance where the girls attempted kamikaze attack would no longer posed a threat she would address the girl once more, though her mouth was still covered. This time when she looked at the girl though there was an annoyance in her eyes, one showing that her patience was thin and that testing her was not going to end well for her. "Let's try this again. I'm going to uncover your mouth in a moment, and if begin to say anything that sounds like a spell you'll find yourself with several broken bones before you even finish the name."
It felt somewhat weird for Yetsuna to have to threaten someone in such a fashion, she normally dealt with enemies on the front lines, her only job striking down those in front of her, but this time she had to play the interrogator. It was not a role she knew well or one that she had a fondness for because that normally meant having to induce pain on a captured opponent to get answers, which wasn't something she liked doing, even to her enemies.
"How many more rogues are there in this cave network and what weapons are they using?" the green haired woman would ask her, looking for both a signs of compliance and comprehension before she began to let the stone fall away from her mouth so that she could speak. Yetsuna's next move was completely on the rogue and it was going to either be an act of kindness or an act of torture. She was really hoping that it would be the former.

With a violently twitching eye, Kaze heard the voice of the thing keeping him trapped in the stupid box. Laughing at him, he leapt away, using his respective step tech in order to flee. And rightfully so, because if he had stayed a moment longer, the mod soul would have turned him into a mist of blood, making his death, extremely painful. As it was, Kaze only gave a three second chase after the person who decided to play jump rope with his nerves. "I WILL MURDER YOUR FAMILY!" Jikken roared to him, getting ready to give chase, when a familiar face interrupted him.
Skidding to a hault, looking all the more comical since he was flying, he realized who it was yelling at him. "Oh crap." The homeless looking mod soul turned around and started fleeing himself, screaming 'crap' the entire time. He was faster than the flames, if barely, and would continue to run away until he found an opening to turn down. While he could simply fly through the walls, he didn't want to risk having that infuriating guy turn them indestructible again. So he'd wait to find an already existing pathway to escape into. Or if none showed up, he'd use his step ability to make his get away.

It seemed that the young looking female Rogue had been defeated by this green haired Shinigami her own black liquid not proving to be a match for the advantage that she held with an earth based zanpakuto inside of a cave system. She was pinned down and looked as if even her suicide attempt to keep the secrets of her group just that and nothing else secrets failed as well. It didn't matter though she would never tell her anything that could get her family hurt even if she herself had to die that was how all of them felt here they were all brothers and sisters one giant family that looked out for one another. This Shinigami wouldn't understand that none of them ever would.
The Mod Soul was issuing threats towards the individual that had been able to lock him up for a few minutes and yet as he began to take off in the direction that the small boy had gone towards he had seen the blonde Rogue who he had already fought and escaped against. At his sight it seemed the Mod Soul freaked out and turned around rushing down the tunnel in the opposite direction so that he wouldn't need to face off against him once again. It was a wise decision due to the fact that the fire Rogue could still harm him even in his wind armor and yet he wasn't the only one capable of doing such.
Everything would seem to change rather quickly over the next few moments. The Shinigami issued her demands wanting to know everything about the group of Rogues that had been living in this tunnel system while the Mod Soul ran away. The direction that he ran in though took him right to the both of them. He'd take a turn to the left as the tunnel he was in reached its end and brought him into the same tunnel as the other two. He was only roughly ten feet in front of them and just as he saw them everything around them would suddenly be black.
In the moments that followed everything would change while neither the Shinigami nor the Mod Soul would be able to do anything about it. They were both effectively blind right now in a world of complete darkness with no way of telling what was actually happening right now or what caused this darkness to suddenly take hold of the area they had been in only a moment ago. After only roughly three seconds passed both the Shinigami and the Mod Soul would suddenly feel nothing below them as they started to fall downwards towards the sand.
It didn't make much sense or any for that matter due to having no information on what just happened, but whether they could react in time to not fall on the sand didn't matter. They'd realize that for some reason they were outside of the cave system almost right at the entrance where both of them had entered. They were roughly thirty feet away from that entrance right now and it was in sight, but all around them were the other Shinigami. Some of them were alive and others were torn to pieces. Some dead and some alive yet what had forced them back outside and how did it accomplish such a feat so easily?
"You and everyone else has suffered enough for today. Leave now and no further harm will come to any of you. If you stay only death will welcome you." The voice was that of a woman one that was coming from above. No doubt all of them that had been just dropped onto the sand would look upwards to see the woman floating in the sky dressed in dark purple. She was all that was left of the Rogues that had been in the cave system in those simple few moments that had passed all of them had escaped. This mission while successful for information didn't seem to have been victorious in terms of eliminating the traitors. All they could try now would be to eliminate this woman, but would they or could they even?

A long hallway, yet no exit. The faster he went, the more tired he grew. He had little to no idea what he was supposed to be looking for, he wasn't the most observant person in the world, dead or alive, but he was certainly sure that 'long dark hallway, wasn't very useful or informative for an information gathering mission. Then again, the Quincy wasn't very specific in what he wanted, so he'd get what Kaze gave to him. He didn't much care if he liked it or not. As he flew, he started hearing noises, perhaps a battle?
He took a left, and wound up in a dark room. It was pitch black, robbing him of his sight. The the ground underneath him gave way. It didn't matter if he could fly or not, because he still required the ground to push away from in order to stay afloat. He knew that falling wouldn't hurt him, his armor able to save him from such damage. When he finally stopped, he found that he was outside the cave entrance. He heard a voice, a woman, telling them that they were free to leave, or die. She was floating above the cave, and honestly, he agreed with her, too much crap, not enough reward. "Don't need to tell me twice." He spun around, idly noticing a green haired shinigami, before zooming off.

Yetsuna had just been about to begin her interrogation when she was suddenly enveloped in a darkness. Time almost seemed to freeze for a moment as she waited for something to happen, then the ground gave out from under her. Immediately the armored woman solidified some reaitsu beneath her feet to provide her a stand platform, but that action actually mattered very little in the grand scope of things. A moment after the attempted trap she would find herself outside the cave once more.
She looked around and saw her allies, some breathing some not, and a short way off was some other person she did not recognize, though that wasn't her major concern. From above some voice called down telling all those present to go home, and Yetsuna honestly had few reasons to refuse the offer. Her orders had been to support the first platoon that had searched the cave and a large number of them were in bad shape or worse, furthermore, other then the person above them, there were no other reaitsu signatures near them and even if she did want to fight her her allies would be let exposed.
"Fair enough," the green haired woman replied back in a "meh" tone before raising her hand upward and causing the section of earth with all the wounded to rise out of the ground, "Let's go," she'd say to any of her allies that weren't currently on her makeshift gurney. One of the better of shinigami would run a few steps ahead of her and open the senkaimon giving them their route home. Once all those who were well enough to stand on their own were through she'd look around to make sure no one, dead or alive, was left behind before pushing the mass of earth through the portal then following herself.
