Where they all Sink [Solo Training]

Training for SP

It was so very very droll. Watching as the other hollows milled about, hungering for eachother up on the surface, whilst down below they simply raged and fought. She supposed she should not have been so very surprised. Something about it just was....different. She herself? She stayed down below. Down in the deep dark where all around her she simply was.....fighting. Strange as it were, she found herself engaged with other hollows, which she found fairly strange given that in the world of the living, and even the soul society they had other priorities.

Even so? She found them following her darkly. One hollow in particular decided that she was particularly tasty, but soon something....caught the attention of the hollow. A sudden spiritual pressure that suddenly caused them to race off, and cause Jyuria's head to tilt as her attentions drifted in the direction of the disturbance. For a moment she almost didn't recognize them. Her memories of her life as a quincy were so very very fuzzy, from time to time she wondered if she would ever remember all of it. But THIS, she could remember.

Arrancar. A lot of them actually... Herded in, they didn't even have Las Noches uniforms yet, as most of them seemed to be brand spanking new. One of them however was very obviously not. He looked down upon them with a sort of disdain one might look upon failed children, and Jyuria fell silent and unseen as suddenly a voice blared out from the stern-looking arrancar, his hands behind his back as he addressed the confused and worried-looking arrancar before him, even Jyuria felt a slight chill with the way he talked aloud.

"Listen up you disgusting filth. I'm going to tell you this once and ONLY once. Among all the arrancar, YOU? Are trash. The lowest brand of us, and in DIRE need of some toughening!" he spar, shaking his headas he strode from left to right, eyes narrowing for just a moment before a slow, malicious smile crept across those features of him, a gentle little chuckle escaping from him as his tone suddenly became softer, but at the very same time so very much more sinister. A dripping malice about his speech that made them shudder.

"But that's why you're here. This is the best way for you saps to make up for your incredible lack of power, you'll be spending time down here. In the Menos Forest. Oh sure, a couple of ya will be dying! There's no doubt about that. But those of you that DO survive, will be worthy of remaining in Las Noches. Heh......Enjoy runts." Came that last gravely remark before all at once he vanished, suddenly leaving them as a sonido ejected him from the area and left that small crowd of arrancar into groups. Some of them clearly were....worried, others took action, either striding off alone or forming small gangs as they began to spread out, looking for shelter or whatever else it was that they thought would huhhhlk!

Her thoughts were interrupted a suddenly she was shoved up against a tree, all three eyes suddenly wide as she looked upon that Arrancar from before. The dark man with a wicked smile. At his hands? One of the arrancar from below. Dead, with his chest torn out and his eyes already dimming. For a brief moment she wasn't sure what to feel, and she already prepared to use her bandages on the man, but before she could, a soft...deep little chuckle escaped his lips and he shook his head at her as his fingers tightened around her chest.

"A lady? Well this is rare for a hollow. Where are my manners? My name's Yuja. I see you've been eying that lot hmm?" He ventured, tilting his head this way and that as he looked her up and down, lightly noticing the strength behind those bandages, even as he knew she was resisting the urge to have them bite him. He chuckled mirthfully, shaking his head before suddenly a wide grin spread across his features, dropping the dying one beside the both of them as he suddenly backed off.

"Tell you what smallfry. Why don't I leave you with this one? I'm sure you're hungry. I'm sure you're hungry fer a lot of things~ And it just so happens, I need that there crowd of greenhorns thinned. So here's the deal. I'll let you play with em. Eat the ones you can. An if ya don't get yerself killed, I might bring some more here sometime." He noted, winking at her in a manner that would have disgusted a normal spirit, she simply stared ahead, considering his....proposition.

"I know you could surely use the meals. Oh I know definitely how quickly ya'll hollows can grow. I may even take an interest in breakin yer mask one of these days if you get strong enough~ You ain't got much to lose after all." He cackled, shaking his head before kicking the corpse in her direction and turning away, and before her very eyes, he vanished, leaving her to her thoughts as she slowly looked down at the body she had been offered.

For several long moments, she considered, slowly sinking her bandages into the corpse as she thought it over. The idea of killing and hunting these arrancar. Working with this....Yuja person. She knew it was a dangerous game trusting arrancar, they were very.....diverse in their temperament. But it was also probably her best shot at trying to grow strong. Strong enough to find her Quincy bretheren.... and give them what they deserved.

"Wh-?!"

The noise caused her to suddenly turn around, spotting another one, staring in shock, next to the tree Jyuria had been only moments before, eyes focused on that corpse at the hollow's feet. Her eyes narrowed and she watched them take a step back uncertainly before finally drawing their zanpaku'to, a sudden anger in their eyes. How pitiful, these really WERE just child arrancar. In but the span of a moment, she was suddenly gone, moving quickly to the tree she had laid a rune on but moments before, the high speed technique catching them off guard.

It was the work of a moment to suddenly bind that arrancaress from head to toe in her bandages, suddenly hardening them as they screamed, those teeth on the inside of the bandages already doing their work, before at long last the Coffin was complete, and suddenly there was a deep, sickening CRUNCH as the woman's body was crushed inside of that tomb of bandages, their blood spraying and spattering across Jyuria's mask and body, eyes slowly narrowing as she looked at the bodies, both of them already well on their way to being completely consumed.

Perhaps this could benefit her after all...

2 Class 8 Arrancar consumed.

It was strange to see them so weak, scrambling around as they began to notice that something was hunting them, that something was tracking them, that something was eating them. All in all it took only a few moments for the reality to finally sink in, the appreciation for the forest's majesty to suddenly fade, and for those tall trees to suddenly be so scary. And strangely, Jyuria realized how very very weak arrancar were at such early stages.

Probably made from the freshest of hollows, they found themselves without those abilities that had allowed them to feed so early on in their lives. They were young and weak, having probably been boosted early in hopes that they would grow properly. And yet without lives as hollows to have toughened them, to have hardened their souls. They were....nothing. Especially to Jyuria. A life of killing hollows and arrancar seemed to serve her well.

She remembered lessons from her superior officers. Lessons entailing the use of distance and avoidance to evade attacks and ensure that contact wasn't made. And yet somehow it was just pathetic how poorly these things could defend themselves. HEr bandages far outpacing their capability to avoid them, moving fast and adjusting even when they managed to anticipate movement, only to suddenly be met with those bindings of teeth. One of them seeming to have some semblance of power managed to fire a cero at her, and were it not for her bandages it might have actually damaged her considerably.

But with those thin bands shielding her from most of the blast, she simply watched as they shivered before her. Watched and saw how....helpless they were at this stage. How very pathetic their attempts at stopping her turned out to be. How very soft their skin was without that powerful hierro to keep them alive, hierro that normally kept her arrows at bay was now absent, so when she closed in on the one rushing for the ceros, she was able to shove them to the ground, bandages already tearing into skin, flesh, and bones as those eyes watched coldly, mercilessly.

The sound of their body being eaten into was nothing short of bliss, and she could feel a deep and unabiding sense of accomplishment as she tore into their carcasses and ate them from the inside out, crushing them and molding their warped little corpses into delectable little bundles for her to consume, twisting their bodies into little balls as bones stood no chance against her strength and speed. Her experience as a ritter? It just made it all the more one-sided. And of course, admittedly, she was largely unable to use her abilities.

Even as she tore into them, the large majority of her abilities couldn't be used, and only her Coffin was put into play, as well as those runes that allowed her to outpace them even with the one or two that tried to use a sonido. But.....alas~ They were too young. None of them could manage the technique. They had no hierro, no sonido, no pesquis, no nothing that could save them. And in a contrast so stark it was almost blinding, Jyuria realized that she had everything. Everything these weak individuals DIDN'T have.

She had technique, she had finesse, and she had the ability to murder them with little issue, those two techniques that DID benefit her were strong enough for her to completely outclass these weak arrancar. Their blades being easily swept aside with her bandages as teeth snared on the blades. Some of them were so weak she could simply bite right through their flimsy zanpaku'to. Crushing thier hopes as they continued to run.

It was then that a second little one fell before her. Another that seemed to be all alone. His zanpaku'to shaking as he helt it up against her, Jyuria's eyes simply staring blandly down at them as she began closing in, furrowing her brows and letting a soft mist of red spill from the mouths on her bandages, those three eyes piercing as they stared down at him. Jyuria knew that he wasn't going to be much of a fight, none of them really seemed to be after all, and somehow that was a little disappointing.

As he lunged at her, she simply moved to the side, reaching out as the bandages she had wrapped around her palm stopped that blade, allowing her to simply catch it as she narrowed those three eyes of hers, the teeth eating through the blade itself as she stared him down, seeing ihs panicked expression as she suddenly reached out and grabbed onto him, pulling him close and staring down into his eyes as he struggled to get away from her, but alas he was just so.....weak.

Even with all of his trembling it was somewhat nostalgic to the days back when she had been a ritter. The way hollows just couldn't seem to keep up with her arrows. And now this arrancar too seemed unable to stop her, as those powerful bandages slowly wound around his body, strangling out his words as she looked into his eyes, seeing the fear in them as she slowly let her eyelids droop down, watching the arrancar in his final moments as he struggled against the bandages slowly sinking into his body from every direction, blood oozing down to the floor beneath them as Jyuria dug in.

She didn't know how very satisfying it was. Somehow she felt it would be more filling if he'd been a quincy, if one of her old brethren could be here, so she could collect them and save them from the terrible fate of being a vandereich. The very memory of her dear emperor beinging tears to her eyes as the arrancar struggled, a cero slowly begining to blare that high-pitched whine as he prepared to try and use it on her, a look of utter dissapointment and sadness in her eyes as she simply let out a soft sigh through her bandages.

She didn't even flinch as she wrapped a bandage around the wrist of the hand charging the cero, ignoring that sudden horrible screeching sob as the bandages began eating into his wrist, that cero fizzling as suddenly he didn't have a hand to fire it anymore, bit by littly bitty bit he was instead subjected to the sensation of his hand being eaten away, and the horrible sight of those three eyes looking boredly down at his own, a slow, shuddering growl escaping from Jturia's body as she spoke, bandages opening up at her throat as she did so.

"You are unworthy."

2 Class 8 Arrancar eaten.

"And so are you."

Jyuria paused, looking up to see a number of blades pointed at her, all of them set and resolute as they seemed intent upon her. It was one of the few little groups the arrancar had formed. A little troupe of them all surrounding her, each of them nervous, but still determined. My my my, so they had decided to actually band together. She couldn't help but chuckle softly at the very idea. But that was it wasn't it? These ones were young. They had no real power, and they were already being slaughtered.

They were not yet arrogant. They were not yet the monsters that so many arrancar turned out to be. She was actually pleased, tilting her head as her bandages smiled for her, watching them as they slowly closed in and began to encircle her, unaware of the runes that were left all around her. All around them. Those bandages couldn't have smiled wider as suddenly she vanished in an instant, no doubt surprising the lot of them as she abruptly was moved to the rear of one of the group.

She knew that they were together. But she needed to be sure they would STAY that way. Moving to the arrancar that had strayed furthest from the others, failing to move forward like the rest, he had cowardly decided to hang back and let his comrades take it. Immediately there was a loud, gushing splatter as she shoved her arm bodily through his lower back, ripping into a kidney as she grabbed the organ, and crushed it, those sharp claws making short work of his skin and innards as bandages spilled into his body, and immediately she watched them bunch up.

All at once they huddled together, glaring as they kept up a united front, slowly approaching her as a leader among them started barking out orders, bringing  a smile to her face as she pleasantly regarded the absolute wealth of teamwork they had. She smiled and waited for them as the gentle crunching of her bandages sounded as they slithered deeper into the arrancar's body to get at the truly juicy parts of their innards, the blood already spattering her from head to toe, something she would have never allowed as a Quincy, and strange as it were it actually felt wonderful to be able to do this so....recklessly.

She chuckled softly from the various bandages as she tore into that poor comrade of theirs, watching how they suddenly stopped in their tracks, stuck in place by that ominous laughter as she gave a slow, gratuitous roll of her shoulders and a soft sigh as those eyes ran up and down each and every one of them, wondering just what it was each of them was thinking, what each of them was hoping. Did any of them have hopes? Did any of them have dreams?

"What a bunch of.......smart little boys and girls." She crooned softly, that smile only widening as she could feel a swelling of power inside of her from those that she Had managed to eat so far. "I'm impressed. But I'm sorry to say I can't just leave you alone jsut yet. I have so much to teach all of you. So much for you all to learn. So stay close now. Keep your weapons tight. And keep your comrades closer. If you really want to live. Don't let me catch you." he whispered.

And with those parting words she vanished, using those runes to make her way out away from the group. She would keep an eye on them, peering down at them as they began to look at eachother, smiling as they began discussing what she'd said. Wether or not she would keep true to her words. Was it really just staying together that would save them? Some of them thought so, others were not so easily convinced. And much to her delight, an example presented itself as one arrancar started shouting at the others, turning and  beginning to storm off.

She smiled watching as he walked right by one of her runes, and that was all he wrote. In but an instant she was upon him, her bandages wrapping around him with sudden crushing force, a sudden shriek escaping him as she smiled, looking to the group and winking before she twisted violently, breaking his neck and silencing his cries before she vanished once more, leaving them in absolute shock as she took the rebel with her.

It didn't take long after that for them to get the message. Some of them even latching onto eachother, terrified of being caught alone now as they began moving as a group away from her, a pleased little smile slowly creeping across her bandages as she looked happily upon her little...students. They were just as stupid and stubborn as quincy recruits were. But just like quincy, they also knew how to take a hint. And as a Sternritter, it had always been her job to drop fairly.....large hints.

She saw them get that message, a message some quincy took far too long to learn, and begin to depart, not a single one daring to stray from the group now as they clutched their weapons. Some who had higher mastery of cero than others created brilliant balls of light with which to guide their comrades, they were actually getting stronger, changing because of her. It was an old, familiar, and....pleasant experience. She couldn't help but have those bandages smile as she turned her attention elsewhere.

Almost immediately she found one of the unfortunate arrancar who did not find themselves in a group and she simply sighed softly, dropping down and tilting her head as she approached them. For just a moment they froze, seeming to be in shock before suddenly they gestured, a cero firing from their finger toward her, much to her unamusement, as really there was nothing about it that her bandages were unable to just slap away, her eyes focused on them as she smiled more and more, her head tilting to the side as she moved in.

It was just as the rest, and after snapping that zanpaku'to of theirs, she simply shoved them to the ground and began ripping into their chest with those bandages, letting their mouth remain uncovered so that their agonized screams could echo throughout the menos forest as a dark reminder that it was not safe to be alone, eyeing that dying arrancar as they continued to sob and squirm, the light slowly beginning to leave their eyes as fingers curled and bit by little bitty bit they began to go still, already most of their body having been consumed by those vicious little sets of teeth. The satisfaction of being a mentor paired with the satisfaction of a bountiful meal. What else could she ask for?

She could feel him watching her. From afar in the trees, all around her as she patrolled through the area, watching as the arrancar continued to move around. Those little things already begining to grow stronger, form groups. Under Jyuria's watchful eye, making sure that any that strayed from the pack were murdered immediately. The satisfaction was something she didn't quite expect. Being the decider as to wether or not they died. But something else egged at the back of her mind. Something....delicious.

The strong one. The one that had brought all of the pupils here. He was already growing cocky. As she continued to eat, he continued to hide himself less and less. More and more she felt that inkling feeling that he was underestimating her. And somehow....she felt the need to get him. To trick him. To eat him. Already that hunger was something that continued to egg into her mind. And she considered.....if she killed him. Couldn't she just eat the rest of them? Keep them here for herself. Condition them. And once they were strong. Once they were new. She could reforge them.

And then? When they were new. She would get them to join her. But that means that the arrancar mentor was a problem. As she shifted her attention to him, she could see him watching her. Eyeing him as those three eyes narrowed. The look of absolute amusement. He thought it was cute, and she could see that as she made her way toward him. "Well well well. Here for a break? Sorry but I don't have any gatorade on me." He noted calmly, leaning back against the tree as Jyuria watched him. She paused, thinking for a while before she stepped closer.

Once she got close enough she reached out, noting the surprise as she lightly placed a clawed hand over his chest, those cam eyes watching him as a snort escaped from him. "Well well well, getting soft on me now? I know it's probably pretty hard to resist me. Look, I'm not real into the whole hollow fucking thing, but hey." He chuckled, reaching out with that disgusting hand to touch along the side of her face, lifting her head. She wanted to do it now. Wanted to kill him. But she needed to be patient.

"When this is all done. Why don't you lat me break your mask for you? You'll be a member of Las Noches, and I might even make you one of my Numeros. How'd you like that eh? I'm a privaron after all. You'd be lucky to be mine. I bet you're pretty fucking hot under all that dumb bandage shit." He cackled, giving her a pat on the cheek as she moved her hand away, leaving behind bandages. Immediately her frowned, and suddenly that zanpaku'to slashed down.

For just a moment that blade clashed with her bandages, that blade beginning to cut through the first bandage, but not being quite strong enough aty all to cut through on the first blow. Those bandages suddenly wrapping rapidly around him. A Sudden brilliant flash showing as a cero charged. She knew she wasn't going to be able to completely block. But those bandages were durable. That succen blast blasting straight through her, blowing a hole straight through the bandages and obliterating her right arm.

But.....he could not escape the bandages by just injuring her. She smiled along his skin, those bandages suddenly opening up, showing teeth as they tightened, squeezing hard, crushing down on him. And for a brief moment, his hierro stood up. For just a while, it took a moment, those teeth only barely biting into a few layers of skin. Until finally they contracted. For just a moment there was surprise. There was confusion. Suddenly he struggled, something wasn't right. The attack was not as weak as he thought. Not as fruitless.

Suddenly when that crushing force weighed down, those bandages bit into his flesh, suddenly making him scream out as his arms were suddenly crushed. Those bandages busting through that hierro, and then crushing the bones and such underneath. Were he a normal being, he would have died, that execution style attack breaking his ribs, easily crushing through and biting into his lungs, those bandages breaking through that flesh, shredding it.

Even with her missing arm, Jyuria smiled. Even with no mouth, her eyes could just show it, radiating that happy emotion through her soul as she stomped down on the dying Arrancar's head. And for just a moment, she felt it. The beginings of his spiritual pressure. The beginings of that weight that would crush her. That would obliterate her. And immediately she sank her bandages through that soft, defenseless flesh and into the center of his chest where that soul sleeve was, or whatever it was called. All at once she pierced it.

But only partially in time. That weight for just a fraction of a second crushed down on her, and her mask cracked as she suddenly felt her organs burst, blood bursting from the seams of her bandages as she dropped down beside him. Grunting as she ley beside him. Her bones barely kept from shattering as slowly that mask was the first thing to repair itself. And as she looked at him, she saw a smug look on his dead face. Even with his powers gone and shattered, he was happy, seeing what he'd done with his presence alone.

"You stupid bitch.....did you really think.......you could attack me.....and live? You're pa....pathetic....hahghkughhh! Grahkuhhhkuhhhkuhh!" He sputtered up blood. His lungs were still mostly crushed. But he was satisfied. She was going to die with him. Or so he thought. Suddenly he convulsed, eyes wide as those bandages......started sinking into his flesh. Nice....and DEEP. His eyes suddenly going wide as those little mouths formed up. Her soul was still intact. Broken and critically wounded as she was.......she still had access to her powers. And by sheer will alone,. those eyes pierced into him.

HE could see it. That determination. A Fire in her eyes that had warped her soul into what she was. Suddenly he felt a chill going down his back as she began to tremble, her body twitching as she began eating him. Were he not too busy coughing up blood and chunks of his lungs, he would have screamed. Instead he just gurgled as she began tearing into his body, eyes narrowed as slowly her body began to regenerate. Thanks to the meal, and her sheer will to live, her resistance to pain, and her ability to recover, her body was pulling itself back together. Slowly she rose up, and those eyes smiled down at him.

The last things that passed through his mind were terror. Horror. That she had managed not only to kill him. But that she was going to survive. Even as the light faded from his eyes. And she finished ripping his innards open, finished tearing his being asunder. He was still in shock that she had managed to survive. That she would live with his life on her belt. A badge, and a meal that would bring her ever closer to her goal. Ever closer to her god. Ever closer to His Majesty.

As she finished breaking up his body, it was only then that she noticed several presences behind her. Looking over her shoulder she could see them. Frozen in place. Staring at what she'd done to their mentor. What she'd done to the Privaron. Done to the one who had brought them here. Almost immediately those eyes began glowing brightly as she began to slowly turn to them. Her body was still barely holding on. Her internals would not heal until she had fully digested him. But her bandages were already primed and prepared to strike them down.

Immediately they cowed, backing up as they did. All save for one. The fear was obvious in his face, a sudden terror that could not otherwise be so easily described. His body shook as he raised his blade. "Y....You're going to kill us all anyway!" HE roared, suddenly racing toward her, his blade raised as he shouted out. A sudden brilliant light surrounding his blade, getting ready to attack with that powerful blast before she simply vanished. Her gate bringing her past him as her bandages sank into his left side. Eyes wide as he immediately dropped down to his knees, groaning out as her bandages had pierced right through his hierro, his arms, his chest.

Turning her attention to the others she narrowed her eyes, slowly making her way toward the downed arrancar as she began to speak, slowly placing her foot onto his body as her form suddenly started to crack. She was so very much bigger now. She hadn't even noticed how much she'd grown. Almost as if her body was trying to catch up with her power, she had yet to actually fully transition. She was well beyond the scope of a normal hollow. And yet she hadn't quite drawn enough of them to converge. Her eyes narrowing at the arrancar that were left, slowly pushing her foot down, waiting until she felt that pained snap of his spine.

"I do not plan on killing you. You are part of something very special.....every one of you. You have not strayed. You have not sold your brethren out. In the face of danger, you learned that together, you're stronger. Together you're safer. And that your peers are mroe than just steps for you to walk on. For those who are violent....arrogant. Or simply.....stupid." Another snap as she twisted her foot, and the screaming started as her bandages began tearing into him. One of them silencing him by wrapping around his throat, and then one around his mouth.

"You have a special purpose. I have goals of my own. Ideals. Dreams. But more importantly. This is not something I can do alone. Not something I can just take. I need to become more. So much more than I am now." She hissed, slowly turning to look at them as those eyes narrowed, her bandages already beginning to consume the last scraps of that fallen arrancar, her spritual pressure continuing to grow as she slowly curled her fingers into fists. Her mask shifting as smiles spread along the mouths on her bandages.

"I'm going to take you all with me. If you prove yourselves. If you can prove to be more than this.....Las Noches trash." She noted, looking down at the two freshly killed arrancar. Her strength returning to her. Finally healing up with her latest meal, and a slow giggle spilling from some of those mouths, but not one that was evil. It was just....happy. "It feels.....so very good.....I don't think I could be like this without his majesty.....But.....another time. For now you all have a choice. You'll join me either way. You'll either join my body, as a meal. Or you will join my side, as an ally."
