-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Height/Weight: [5'11/130 Lbs.]
Physical Description:
Taien's apperance has changed quite a bit over the years. The experiences and encounters he has had throughout the Academy have changed him a bit. Even his hair has changed! The most prominent change about him however, is that he has two sky-blue eyes now. When he joined the Academy, and while he was attending it, Taien had both a crimson red eye and a sky blue eye. Now he only has sky blue eyes. It's unknown what the cause of this was, but it might have had something to do with his own Reiatsu. So now he just has two sky blue eyes. Other than that, his eyes haven't changed much, still full of laughter and light. Though there seems to be a bit more light in his eyes these days.
Next up, his hair! His hair was darker when he first went into the Academy. Now though, now that he's out of there and out in the Seireitei serving the Kidou Corps, Taien's hair has turned a lighter shade of green. It's not quite "Light Green", it's more along the lines of Chartreuse. He didn't dye it or anything, it just sort of naturally progressed from his previous color to this color. His hair still seems to be a mess though, that much hasn't changed. It might even seem a little more messy than it was previously, though it really isn't.
All in all, even Taien's face has changed. It still looks young-ish, but it also looks a lot more angular. It looks slightly older than it was in the Academy, but that is to be expected with the passage of time. Even Shinigami are subject to it, albeit at a much, much slower rate than the regular Human. It looks a little bit more mature, a bit more reliable than it looked before. His ever present smile is the same as always though, and the same can be said for his teeth. He takes care of himself because he likes to look nice.
On to the rest of his body! His skin tone actually seems to have become lighter as well. Whereas before, he looked like he had a light tan, now he looks like he hasn't tanned at all! His skin isn't pale really, just whiter than it looked before. Everything about Taien seems to have gotten whiter over the five years he was in the Academy. It's a bit odd, but nothing really serious. Other than that, his body is still pretty identical to what he had in the Academy. Not all that much has changed physically about him. He is, however, quite a lot faster than he was before.
Taien's attire has changed quite a bit though. Instead of the Academy Student wear, he now dons the Kidou Corps Vice-Commander robes. Albeit, in a modified form. Instead of a purple robe, he wears a sky blue robe with a white sash around the middle to keep it tight. It's quite distinctive, allowing him to be recognizable from the other Vice-Captains of the Seireitei. Underneath that though, he wears the traditional Shinigami robes, with the Kidou Corps symbol instead of the division number on it's right arm. The pants and the like are also the same as the standard issue Shinigami shihakusho.
Taien also has a set of formal wear, for special occasions and the like. The first part is a regular white dress shirt, nothing really different from other outfits of the same make. On top of that goes a black tie, tied around the collar. Over the both of them go a dress coat, split down the middle to bellow the ribs. Six buttons and a chain allow for the divide to be as large or small as necessary. Coattails run down the back and to the back of the knees. Buttons on the wrists allow for the wearer to adjust the tightness of the cuffs as needed. The pants are more or less fancy black dress pants. Along with these, Taien wears white gloves and black dress shoes and socks.
While the above still applies, Taien's apperance has taken another change when he got the rest of his emotions restored to him. His eyes have taken on a new life, and actually have depth to them, his skin actually has gotten some color to it after he vanished from the face of the earth for a while, and over all, he looks a lot more... Complete.
Like all Shinigami with strong Reiatsu, Taien's Reiatsu manifests into a different form when he's flexing it. Some people have skeleton armor, some have bright yellow light. Taien's is a bit different than those, as it should be. When Taien flexes his Reiatsu, his body seems to be engulfed in a corona of golden and sky blue colored flames. It's quite cool to look at, and it gives off a sense of power and mastery. It's not actual fire, nor does it have really any battle capability. It's for effect, like many other manifestations of Reiatsu are. The flexing of his Reiatsu does cause an effect though, it makes things hotter and can actually break the ground! All in all, it's an impressive visual effect.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dislikes:
• Hollows: Hollows do have a bad habit of going around and trying to devour people. It's in their nature, sure, but that doesn't mean the Shinigami should just let them do it.
• Pure Anger: Now that Taien can actually feel these new emotions, he has a strong dislike of pure rage. Too narrowly focused, too blinding... Self destructive, even. Anger without focus is just wasted energy.
• Hatred: Another disliked emotion, and an offshoot of anger. Hatred is anger with focus, except it's unfortunately focused on the destruction of others. He's felt this emotion... sometimes. Taien doesn't like the feeling it gives him at all. It can be focused, turned for the greater good, but... No. Taien really doesn't like it.
• Vandenreich Quincy: Seemingly the embodiment of Hatred against the Shinigami, the Vandenreich are quite. . . Zealous in their cause. Sure the Shinigami nearly wiped them out all those years ago, but it was either that or the world itself would have been destroyed. Taien can now appreciate truly the damage they've caused his home, though he reserves his actual dislike for the Vandenreich.
• Arrancar: They're sort of like Hollows, but with a good amount of reason. Sadly, they still seem to want to kill everything. Some of them do make good conversation though.
• Arrogance: Why do people overestimate themselves or underestimate their opponents? Arrogance. It makes people trip over their own egos and fall face first on the ground.
• Honor before Reason: Sometimes Honor can be good. Sometimes it can lead people to becoming great rulers and the like. However, sometimes it makes people do monumentally stupid things in it's name. Honor is good and all, just don't let it get in reality's way.
• Generalization: Why generalize a group? It's practically impossible to generalize a group, due to the individuals that comprise it. Really, it's not worth the time.
Likes:
• Kidou: Taien loves Kidou! So many interesting things to do with them, so much potential, so much possibility! Experimenting with these always makes Taien's day.
• Sparring: Ah, so much can be accomplished by sparring with someone. You both get stronger, get to know each other better, and you get to test your mettle against someone else! What could be better? Recently, Taien's even made a good effort to learn how to hold back. Time will tell if it actually will do something.
• Meeting New People: It's always fun to meet new people! Who knows who you're going to run into? You could even make some new friends!
• Paperwork: Yeah it's boring to do sometimes, and there's usually a whole lot of it, but this stuff is essential to keeping a Division working properly. Taien'll do any amount if it means keeping the Division working!
• Tea: Taien has found a new favorite drink in the form of tea.
• The Sun: The sun is just awesome! Without it, the world would be dark, crops wouldn't grow, and everything would be frozen ten times over to hell and back! Really, what isn't there to like about the sun?
• Fire: Fire is another source of light and heat, and it is absolutely essential to things like cooking and forging. Without fire, where would they even be by now? Still back in the stone age?
• Daytime: The time when the Sun is out! Daytime is when most people do their business and other stuff, as it's a lot easier to see in the day.
• Nighttime: Ah, Nighttime, the time when the sun sets and the moon comes out. It's quite a beautiful time, and it lets that part of the world rest after being lit up by the sun. Without nighttime, the world would be a burned out husk.
• The Kidou Corps: Well, what more can be said of this fine establishment? It's the center of all things Kidou related, and is staffed by some extraordinary people!
• Kyomei Mitsukaru/Kuchiki: "Hah! Kyomei-San, my Student and Commander. Such an odd situation we find ourselves in, but we're still good friends! I need to meet the rest of his extended family still, though."
• Kazura: Kazura's the person who helped fix Taien's head. He's really greatful to the human, and wouldn't mind sharing stuff about the spiritual world with him. Plus, he'd make a pretty decent ally, if it was possible to get him aligned with the Seireitei.
• Interacting with others: It's so cool! So fun! Meeting people, talking with them about things, just... doing stuff with people! It's awesome!
Flaws:
• Learning Emotions: Taien got his new emotions not too long ago. As a result, he's still kind of... New to them. He'll genuinely be upset and apologize if he offends people while he's still learning.
•Lost in Emotion: Occasionally, Taien's emotions'll get the better of him. Seeing as how he's never felt them before, it's kind of understandable, but still... If it goes off at the wrong moment, it could be bad.
Habits:
• Roaming: Taien likes to travel around. It lets him see more of the wonderful world he's living in, after all!
• Doing Paperwork: Yes, this is a habit. Taien actually doesn't have a problem doing paperwork, and often handles the overflow of other work if people don't finish theirs on time. This is sometimes taken advantage of.
• Being Polite: Taien has become quite a polite individual. Even when faced with adversity, Taien still maintains a polite attitude towards the person he's facing.
• Drinking Tea: Taien has found that he likes Tea quite a lot. It's an excellent drink for your health, and it comes in so many flavors! He favors the leafy drink over that of something like Coffee.
• Training with Kidou: Taien generally uses his Kidou to do everything. From making coffee, to heating up his office on cold nights, Taien keeps trying to find new uses for Kidou.
• Training Others: Taien's actually a good leader. If he's not training, roaming or otherwise, he usually can be found instructing groups of Shinigami about Kidou and how to use it the most effective way.
Fears:
• Reversion: The first actual fear Taien's ever had. While it may seem a bit self centered, you'll have to forgive him for it, seeing as it's his first fear. Taien fears reverting back to the way he was, to have his emotions stripped from him once more, to become the 'Smiling Demon'. After experiencing what it's like to actually have emotions, he doesn't exactly want to give them back up.
Goals:
[Taien has one goal that he wishes to accomplish at the moment. Later of course he will have more, but this one is the one he is focusing the most on. Simply put, Taien wishes to ressurect the Kidou Corps to their former glory. This doesn't mean just getting a Commander for it, it means assembling the full power of a fully filled squad! He wishes to restore its knowledge of Kidou, its power, and its reputation back to the Seireitei.]
Alignment:
[Taien is a part of the Passive Good Alignment. Passive Good is known as the "Benefactor" alignment. A Passive Good character is guided by his conscience and typically acts altruistically, without regard for or against Lawful precepts such as rules or tradition. A passive Good character has no problems with co-operating with lawful officials, but does not feel beholden to them. In the event that doing the right thing requires the bending or breaking of rules, they do not suffer the same inner conflict that a Lawful Good character would.]
Overall Personality:
[Taien's changed quite a lot since the last time we've seen him. And by that, I mean there's been actual emotional development. That's right, Taien actually has emotions other than just pure positive ones now!
Though mostly the same in outlook and outward personality, inwardly, Taien is really different. He still feels the old emotions of happiness, joy, all that positive stuff, but now he's got negative stuff in there as well to balance him out. This has resulted in, well, Taien being a more complete person. Now he has to contend with the negatives, along with the positives. While the positives do outweigh the negatives for the most part, the sheer intensity that Taien can feel them at, due to them being so new and himself so unused to them, can overwhelm him sometimes. It's hard, learning to use something you've gone your entire life without, and having it thrust upon you so quickly.
Taien's analytic and charismatic nature still remains, however, due to the newly gotten emotions, one could say it's made him even better at both of them than before. Because he can now feel negative emotions, it's a lot easier to judge and guess how another person is feeling, because Taien is able to feel those same emotions now. This startling development has nurtured Taien's empathy, which was pretty much a dead and dying tree back when he was stuck on permanent happy mode. He can actually interact with people like a normal person now, which is great. His charisma is still the same, but he can now use it much better. It feels less like a machine when talking to him now, and more an actual, organic person.
It's quite nice, finally being able to talk with people.
Similarly, Taien's leadership skills have been, not boosted, but more effectively used. While it may seem repetitive, the fact that Taien is actually able to relate to, and communicate with, other people properly now is... An entirely new sensation for him. While it's something that will eventually will be tempered, Taien can come off as rather eager to people, and perhaps, overeager. Still, he's a good person, and actually knows when he's making someone uncomfortable now. He's now able to properly mature as a person, to become his own individual.
While gaining empathy and the ability to talk to people is nice, though, the other things Taien feels are... not as nice. Lust, anger, fear, sorrow, sadness... doubt. These things make themselves known quite often now, and while he keeps a good lid on them, sometimes it's just not quite enough. Taien has a strong will, but even the strongest of wills will break when it never has a chance to rest. Though that is the price Taien has paid, he can, with a smile, say it is well worth the price. After all, people deal with those emotions all the time. It's just something he has to get used to now. And, despite it being scary at times... He honestly likes it.
Taien's grown as a person. He actually has the capacity to meaningfully interact with people now. It's honestly one of the biggest developments of his life, and personality. Hell, he has an actual personality now, instead of just a two-dee cutout.]

{Section Two: Powers & Techniques}
Fighting Style:
[Taien's Fighting Style is different from most other peoples fighting style. This is due to the fact that he has more than enough Reiatsu to expend numerous Hadou and Bakudou on in his style. He adds in Hadou when attacking, and Bakudou when defending, often times catching the opponent off guard. Hell, he may even use both Bakudou and Hadou for offence at the same time. He also will switch this order numerous times to confuse his opponents, giving his attacks a confusing pattern.
In terms of hand to hand combat, Taien doesn't have much more then what he picked up in the 65th District of the Rukongai. He can hold his own in a fist fight, but he isn't "outstanding" in fighting with just his bare hands. He hasn't had any real training at this point yet, so this is mostly due to a lack of real experiance. His "style" does have one high point to it though, his speed. Its sort of like a barrage of a lot of little attacks, conserving energy, and whittling down the opponents energy and guard over a period of time. Adding Kidou into this drasticly speeds this up. Following his time in the Academy, Taien has picked up a few new moves from his hand-to-hand classes. Not enough that he could be "proficent" or anything, just a few moves here and there.
He is better at using weaponry than using his fists and feet, but only somewhat. He can keep up with a regular swordsman sure, but anyone with more experiance will most likely wipe the floor with him at this point. Again, this is mainly due to his lack of experiance with weaponry, only using weapons when he absolutely needs to. As with his hand to hand style, adding Kido into the mix with this greatly improves his fighting, alowing him to keep up with faster and stronger opponents. As with before, he's picked a few pointers up in his Academy classes, but even a slightly better trained weapons user could beat him still.
Taien's previous dependence upon his large reserves of Reiatsu blocking or negating strikes has been cut out, and now has learned to actually dodge and the like. It's better to not actually be there for an opponents attack. Along with that, Taien has learned that most times, offence is the best defense. He hits his opponents fast and hard, and tries to keep them off their toes as long as possible. Pressuring them, controling their mobility, and other such tactics help tip the scales in his favor.
And then comes the good stuff, actually using the Kidou! Taien loves to use his Kidou in new and cool ways when he fights, it makes him a lot more deadly than if he just stuck to static, unchanging techniques. Having a lot of flexability helps make Taien a lot more deadly.
Low Tier Kido (1-35): The lowest ranked of all the Kido spells. Taien uses these kinds of spells a lot, not because they have the lowest drain on his Reitsu, but because of the higher level of control he has over them. Naturally Kido become more difficult to use at higher levels, making them a bit more unwieldly. Plus its always fun to see a strong opponents reaction to the fact that they just got beat by the weakest of Kido.
Mid Tier Kido (36-70): This is where things get a little more serious, if thats the right word for it. If Taien wishes to up the stakes a little bit more during a fight, he uses these spells. Taien exhibits quite a lot of control in using these spells, and uses them for opponents of a higher ranking than usual. The mid tier spells include a lot of useful and destructive spells for him to use, so he quite enjoys using them.
High Tier Kido (71-99): Some of the highest Kido out there! Even when they're so powerful, Taien still retains a pretty large amount of control over them. These are the spells that could be used to wipe out a huge enemy invading force in one shot, or blow apart a small base of operations. Taien also brings these out to face high leveled opponents, since lower ranked techniques don't have the best success rate on them.
Forbidden Kidou (Negative Kidou): The most powerful Kidou Taien can wield, strong enough to lay waste to vast swaths of land, decimate armies in a single blow, or posessing some sort of sinister effect. These Kidou will only be used in an absolute emergency, as they are never allowed to be used otherwise. Sometimes these kidou are just to strong to be used, other times they are just cruel. Regardless, these techniques will very rarely ever be used. If ever.
Taien also possesses a pretty cool skill that aids him in battle.
This is his Reiatsu Control. It might not seem like much, but Taien's extremely precise control over his Reiatsu allows him to do a lot of things most Shinigami couldn't really achieve otherwise. Generally, things pertaining to the use of Reiatsu are easier for him to accomplish. With only a 2 in it at the moment, Taien can do things like using his elbows, knees, and feet as alternate means of casting Kidou. It's quite handy. Taien also can charge and mould Kidou a lot faster than most other Shinigami. He can charge low classed spells nearly instantly, and if he's mastered them, he can greatly reduce the charge time for higher classed Kidou. Though he can't entirely negate the charge time. It's quite a useful skill for someone like Taien to have. A 3 in it allows him to cast Kidou from any point on his body without gestures, and charge even high level Kidou nigh instantly. Those are just two examples of what he can do though.]

How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand at the target.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation unknown. When the incantation is spoken, the Reiatsu Strength used to determine the power of Sho is increased by 10%. (i.e. 100 Reiatsu Strength is treated as 110.)
==========
Technique Name: Hado #4: Byakurai (Pale Lightning)
Class: 7
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Thunder
Technique Description and Effects: The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger that pierces a target.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand at the target.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation unknown. When the incantation is spoken, the Reiatsu Strength used to determine the power of Byakurai is increased by 10%. (i.e. 100 Reiatsu Strength is treated as 110.)
==========
Technique Name: Hado #11: Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound Lightning)
Class: 7
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Thunder
Technique Description and Effects: Electric current flows through any object the user touches and is able to lead electricity, damaging any target that is in contact with the object the current runs through. This lasts for one post, but by paying the cost of the spell a second time, the duration is increased to two posts.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and touch an object, channeling electricity through it.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation unknown. When the incantation is spoken, the number of active posts this is used for is doubled. (With maximum cost, this can be up to four posts.)
==========
Technique Name: Hado #33: Sōkatsui (Blue Fire, Crash Down)
Class: 5
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Fire
Technique Description and Effects: This technique is a more powerful version of Hado #31, releasing a fireball of blue flames that’s about half as large as an average person in size. The impact of this fireball leaves first-degree burns upon impact, and has more impact force than Hado #31.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 20% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 120 with incantation).
==========
Technique Name: [Hado #35: Raikou Kawa (Lightning River)]
Class: 5
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Lightning
Technique Description and Effects:
Out of the hand, a burst of lightning and electricity shoots out up to ten meters. It's not very strong, but it does inflict second degree burns and can slow an enemy. The main effect is numbing and paralysis. The electricity is potent enough to stun an enemy and their electric signals and nerves for a bit, immobilizing them for a few seconds. It also makes them numb for 3 posts, so they can't feel anything during that time.
How to use technique:
Requires the user to aim a casting hand at the target and then fire.
Technique Drawbacks
Numbness of the hand for usage, along with traditional reiatsu cost.
Incantation and Effect:
Doubles the size of the initial blast of lightning. ("The current is rushing. The poorest of citizens close their doors and pray for there to be no leak, no flood. Yet they will be led amiss, still, for the mighty current cannot be withstood by mere straw!")

==========
Technique Name: [Hado #40: Gouzen Demizu (Roaring Flood)
Class: 5
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Water
Technique Description and Effects:
This technique creates a powerful rush of water starting from a point on the ground directly in front of the user. Water wells up from an unseen source, spreading out in a long pool in a line before the user, before rising up as an enormous wave, a wall of liquid between the user and the target. This technique is sent forward to slam into the intended victim, washing them away in a tidal wave that slams them into surfaces or simply blasts them away. After the technique ends, the water remains as a large pool with a radius of ten feet around the spot where it ended.
How to use technique:
To use this technique, the user chants the name of the technique as well as the incantation (optional) before pointing to a spot on the ground. The spot pointed at is the source for the water. Once the long puddle is created, the user raises their hands to create the wall, then pushes both hands forward in order to send the wave in the direction intended.
Technique Drawbacks
The traditional reiatsu cost of this technique is also its drawback.
Incantation and Effect:
The incantation doubles the size of the incoming tidal wave. ("A drop of water ripples across the ocean surface, a leviathan rises from his slumber. Go forth, depths of the sea, rise from your slumber to drown the land in your magnificent expanse; turn earth to sea, air to liquid, bring forth your deep embrace!")

==========
Technique Name: [Hado #42: Amimono Shimokumo (Multiplying Ice Cloud)]
Class: 5
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Ice
Technique Description and Effects:
It basically allows to freeze surfaces that the weapon stabs into, It works best on walls and the ground but it creeps at an average pace. However the amazing use of it's power is its ability to flash freeze water, and any one who would be in that source of water would find themselves hindered and stuck, not only immobile but also having their body heat being sucked out by the immense cold.
How to use technique:
Call out the technique and thrust your choice weapon into the surface to start the kidou.
Technique Drawbacks
If you're not careful you can end of slipping on the ice or if your in the water yourself you can flash freeze yourself into the ice as well. as well as reiastu cost.
Incantation and Effect:
The incantation allows this to be used on plant life as well as water. ("Birds, trees, humans, demons, and even angels. All must bow before the unrelenting might of the cold. All can die if their fingers are numbed to the bone. There is no escape from the heart of Winter!"

==========
Technique Name: [Hado #53: Surasorutoiera (Area Thrust)]
Class: 4
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
Surasutoeria is much like an advanced form of Hado # 1, Sho. However, instead of being a directional thrust in the direction indicated, it is an area thrust, pushing away from all directions out from the user. When learned, this Hado pushes objects away at a speed equal to the user’s reiatsu strength. When it is mastered, the speed is double that of the user’s reiatsu strength.
How to use technique:
The user need only state the name and push outwards with their hands.
Technique Drawbacks
Because this Hado pushes things in all directions, the user will be forced upwards by the opposite force of the Hado hitting the ground beneath them and being reflected back. It isn’t possible to avoid this because the reiatsu strength needed to push the entirety of the world would be in the millions. Also, if an object has a greater reiatsu strength or a greater strength than that of the user's reiatsu strength then the object will not be affected.
Incantation and Effect:
Increases reiatsu strength of the push by 25%. (I.E. Reiatsu strength worth 100 is worth 125 instead.) ("Gods of Balance, Gods of Change, I summon thee. Under my feet do I place your tennants and in my hands to I place your might. With thy power do I smite my enemies!")

Technique Name: Hado #54: Haien (Abolishing Flames)
Class: 4
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Fire
Technique Description and Effects: Despite its name, this Kido does not at first seem fire-based like many Kido. Instead, upon release the spell releases a burst of violet energy that despite its size is very powerful; on contact, it incinerates the area hit, burning it away into ash. The original blast is roughly the size of a large basketball.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation Unknown. With the incantation, this spell gets a 25% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 125 with incantation).

Technique Name: Hado #58: Tenran (Orchid Sky)
Class: 4
Technique Type: Kido

Technique Description and Effects: Upon release, this technique releases a powerful burst of wind that is almost like a tornado in quality towards the opponent, spinning and growing outwards in an ever-widening cylinder as it engulfs the enemy in its grasp. This has the potential to pick up and throw about targets with ease.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: Incantation Unknown. With the incantation, this spell gets a 25% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 125 with incantation).
==========
Technique Name: Hado #63: Raikōhō (Thunder Roar Cannon)
Class: 4
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Thunder
Technique Description and Effects: This spell is an advanced lightning-based technique, far larger than basic spells such as Byakurai, and its destructive force is increased as well. Upon release, this spell fires an enormous blast of electrical energy in a concentrated blast that devastates all before it.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 25% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 125 with incantation).
==========
Technique Name: [Hado #69: Houkou Karasu (Crow's Shriek)]
Class: 3
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
As the Kidou activates, strong winds will begin to swirl around the caster, catching objects and projectiles. If the enemy's Reiastu Strength is 100 or less than the caster's, then the enemy's reiastu-based attacks will be dissipated in the raging winds. The thing that is offset is that while the winds are raging where the kidou is being cast will, the area will become virtually silent. After fifteen seconds the winds will blow outward on all sides, even above and below the caster in a no blind spot blast around them. The winds whip forward at speeds of 150 miles an hour. A side effect of the attack is that when the winds are unleashed, the winds will howl furiously. It will break the concentration of anyone with senses of 150+, and will shatter the ear drums of anyone with senses around 300.
How to use technique:
Simply state the kidou and stay still, It is absolutely imperative you stay still, as moving into the path of the wind shear will cut deep gashes into the body of the caster.
Technique Drawbacks:
The same effect that will damage the enemy's senses also will damage the caster's senses, and even the caster's ally's senses. The caster also can not move, as the winds that are formed move fast enough to dissipate hardened reiastu, they can and will leave deep gashes on the body.
Incantation and Effect:
Incantation doubles the speed of the technique. ("It will descend, it will abscend, it will up-end. The end is coming, the word has fallen, the night has laid its toll. The clock spells midnight and the doom spells time, and the end will soon arrive. Worry not, little pigeon. Worry not, my minx, or my slave, or my wife, or my children. Worry not at all. You will not hear it coming. None of you will hear a thing.")
==========
Technique Name: Hado #73: Sōren Sōkatsui (Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down)
Class: 3
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Fire
Technique Description and Effects: This spell is, in all practicality, a doubled version of Hado #33, Sōkatsui. When released, this spell fires with the potency of not one, but two Sōkatsui orbs, creating an enormous blast of blue fire that can easily consume a target as it envelops them. Even glancing hits can cause first-degree burns with ease.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens.” With the incantation, this spell gets a 30% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 130 with incantation).
==========
Technique Name: Hado #83: Hyōga Seiran (Glacier Vapor Storm)
Class: 2
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Ice
Technique Description and Effects: An incredibly powerful spell, Hyōga Seiran releases a wave of icy vapor that surges over the opponent, enveloping them completely within its frigid grasp and freezes them completely. The temperatures are roughly 200 degrees below zero, and as a result, death can occur quickly. This is also particularly potent against defensive Bakudo, such as Danku, because after freezing the wall over, the pounding force behind the technique can shatter it. Barriers of lesser strength will only last two or three seconds under the onslaught. Note, barrier strength is determined after the boost that the incantation gives this spell, making it devastating against defensive fighters.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: The great white winter approaches slowly in the night from the north, covering all in a blanket of frost and snow! The living things flee from its approach, lest they be snared and frozen forevermore! Lost to the winds, lost in the banks of unbroken white snow, the foolish and wretched and wicked are purged by the coming winter! Frozen lake, cold dead eyes, purged of all that is warm and kind! Let loose the fullest and most depraved powers of winter! With the incantation, this spell gets a 40% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 140 with incantation).
==========
Technique Name: [Hado #86: Soukahou (Eternal Flare)]
Class: 2
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Fire
Technique Description and Effects:
Soukahou (蒼火砲, Blue Fire Cannon) is an advanced hadou based off of "Sokatsui" that requires a blood sacrifice to activate. Just like how the Kuchiki is well versed in Sokatsui, the Kanzaki specializes in this kidou. Instead of firing one single burst of blue fire at the opponent, it creates a concentrated mass of blue flames around the user's hand that can burn or incinerate anything that fire touches. This can be used for enhanced melee as a flaming fist but that is not its main function. The main ability of this hadou is automatic firing of blue flares, similar to a blue fire machine gun.
Once this is activated, the user can fire blasts of "Sokatsui" out of the hand engulfed in blue flames as many times as the user wishes. In other words, infinite ammunition. The fastest firing rate of this technique is about 600 blasts per minute. When this technique is mastered, the user can use this in many creative ways such as applying the concentration of blue flames to a weapon, fire multiple blasts simultaneously like a shotgun, creating explosive blasts out of the user's hand, or even change the color of the flames to the user's preference. Once this technique is activated, it doesn't end until the user dies or wills its end.
How to use technique:
Activate the technique. From there, aiming and firing is all that is required.
Technique Drawbacks
400 reiatsu is consumed upon activation. The blue flames are extremely hot and it will cause slight burns to the user's hand for every post this is active. Generally, the user will have first degree burns by first the 5 posts. If the arm is severed, the blue flames will go out of control and will engulf the user whole if the one fails to defend against it.
Incantation and Effect:
Reiatsu strength increases by 35% for use of incantation. (I.E. Reiatsu strength of 100 is instead worth 135.) ("An eye for an eye, A tooth for a tooth. Evil to fight evil. Fire to fight fire. Hath withstood pain to create many flames of vengeance. And yet, those ephemeral works of art will never be remembered. I hearby offer my blood in an indestructible contract with the flame of atonement.")

Class: 2
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Thunder
Technique Description and Effects: While Hado #63: Raikōhō, is a particularly powerful blast of electrical force, it pales in comparison to this spell, which is usually only employed by masters of the Kido arts. When released, this spell fires an enormous burst of spiritual and electrical energy that simply disintegrates all in its path, tearing it apart until nothing is left, not even dust. This technique’s range is roughly the size of a train in terms of width and height, and will devour all before it.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: Unknown Incantation. With the incantation, this spell gets a 40% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 140 with incantation).

Technique Name: Hado #90: Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin)
Class: 2
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects: A brutal spell, this Kido forms a box of black energy around a target, which is then pierced by dozens of energy "spears", lacerating the one inside from head to toe. Its appearance and function is reminiscent of a common magician's trick, as well as certain torture devices used during the Spanish Inquisition. Escape from within is nearly impossible, causing those trapped by it to face certain doom. It is virtually unbreakable from the inside, except by a vastly superior spiritual strength, and with a technique class 2 or above. This is also considered impossible to dodge at point blank range.
How to use technique: Speak the spell and point hand towards the target.
Incantation and Effect: “Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant vessel of lunacy! Boil forth and deny! Grow numb and flicker! Disrupt sleep! Crawling queen of iron! Eternally self-destructing doll of mud! Unite! Repulse! Fill with soil and know your own powerlessness!” With the incantation, this spell gets a 40% increase in Reiatsu Strength (i.e. if Reiatsu Strength is 100, this is treated as 140 with incantation).

==========

==========

Technique Name: [Bakudo #5: Kaze Utsuwa (Shadow Container)]
Class: 7
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Air
Technique Description and Effects:
Kaze Utsuwa is a Bakudo that doesn't bind an opponent, but rather binds air within one's self. By taking a deep breath inwards and paying the reiatsu cost, a sphere of air is locked into the user's lungs, slowly releasing the necessary oxygen in order to breathe. This can allow the user to survive without oxygen, whether it be submerged in water or held in a head lock or whatever else that would restrict air flow, for five posts of combat at a time. Five extra posts of non-combat can be used up when learned, ten extra posts of non-combat when mastered. When only learned, the lack of the lungs inflating and deflating is shocking enough that the user must concentrate on the Kidou lest it dissipate. When it is mastered, the concentration is no longer necessary as the user is completely used to receiving oxygen in this manner. In order to refresh the technique, the user needs to breathe in again, so if they are still in an oxygen-free environment, then this technique will not be able to be activated in order to save them.
How to use technique:
User is required to breathe deeply inward before entering an oxygen-free environment.
Technique Drawbacks
Reiatsu cost. Cannot be used in oxygen-free environments. Must be used before entry.
Incantation and Effect:
Doubles duration. ("O' Sea God, allow me to explore your vast oceans and coexist with the life bestowed upon it!")

Typically useless against Kido, this shield repulses low level physical strikes, and sends electricity back into the attacker to result in low level paralysis and temporary numbness.
How to use technique:
Can be instantaneously cast, but is very brittle and weak without incantation and name being spoken. Lasts only mere seconds upon creation, and paralysis does not work on those with superior spiritual strength.
Incantation and Effect:
Incantation allows shield to last up to twenty seconds at any one time, and increases its strength by 10%. (I.E. A reiatsu strength valued at 100 would instead be worth 110.) Incantation Unknown.

Incantation and Effect:
If used, the incantation allows a 10% increase in reiatsu strength. (I.E. A reiatsu strength valued at 100 would instead be worth 110.) ("Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat!")

Users can be sensed by radar techniques (Pesquis) and with energy sensory worth 1/10 of their reiatsu strength. Users can be SEEN as if Kyakko has not been cast at all by those with energy sensory superior to their reiatsu strength, or those with marginally (triple or higher) higher reiatsu strength.
How to use technique:
A basic speaking of the technique name as well as a hand motion over the caster's own body suffices.
Incantation and Effect:
The incantation increases the reiatsu strength behind the technique by 15%. (I.E. Reiatsu strength valued at 100 is instead weighed in at 115.) "Arise, God of Shadows. Flee, God of Light. Make the cloak of darkness cover the earth and mask the heavens with your might."

Class: 7
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: None
Technique Description and Effects:
A movement technique that allows the user to move faster than the eye can follow. The focal point that determines the bases of this technique is speed. As speed is the main point of the technique the method is best characterized by how fast one can get from point A to point B in the least amount of steps. Training and skill are what determines how fast a user of Shunpo can move; those of little skill in the technique or those who haven't used it an extended amount of time would obviously be out of practice, causing those individuals to be considerably slower, which requires the use of more steps to move the same distance and become winded far easier in a shorter amount of time. A single step magnifies speed for that step by 10 times. Uses 50 Reiatsu per step. This one is automatically learned in the academy. ALL shinigami know this when created.
How to use technique:
A focus of reishi around the feet area, and then launching off into a single step which blurs, not unlike teleportation in appearance, except it is simply extremely fast movement. Often used to gain an edge in a single moment of combat, or to dodge incoming attacks.

Technique Type: Spiritual Technique
Technique Description and Effects:
This is a technique designed especially for breakdancing and parkour, utilizing a more advanced version of air ground. While in a terrain where air ground exists, the user can create more complex surfaces like air walls, air ceilings, air ledges and even an air push. This allows the user to perform handstands and windmills on air as if it were normal ground or even stand upside-down on air as if gravity was reversed. The air push makes the air ground very elastic so that the user can jump higher and allows for slight movement even when restrained by a bakudou.
For a reiatsu cost of 25, the user will be able to momentarily cast an "air ground" on areas such as soul society and heuco mundo, allowing the user to "double jump" or cast shunpo in midair. If this technique is mastered, the user will be able to create air grounds that last for as long as a post. This can be used in creative ways to improve acrobatics and visual impressiveness.
Drawback: No drawback.

Technique Name: [Shunpo Karin]
Class: [5]
Technique Type: [Kido]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects:
The famous "partial Shunpo" technique. This allows the user to initiate a single movement at Shunpo speed with one limb. This cannot be used without initiating the forward momentum. The user will need to move their arm the way they normally would before this technique can be activated. Momentum for this technique cannot be controlled. This means once the user initiates this technique, they cannot stop their limb from the movement.
How to use technique:
Stated above.
Drawback:
Also stated above. Higher reiatsu cost than normal Shunpo. Limit is once per post. More stamina taxing than regular Shunpo.

Technique Name: [Shunpo (Flash Steps)]

Technique Name: [Soshi Senjigusuri]
Class: [Varies]
Technique Type: [Other]
Technique Element: [Varies between Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Lightning.]
Technique Description and Effects: [The technique that Taien developed when training with the Kidou Corps Vice Captain Takakazu Sakanoue. This technique was developed out of the curiosity Taien had about Takakazu's elemental Totems, and the way they created different threads of elemental Reiatsu. Taien figured out a way how to do it on his own without outside assistance, and thus this technique was born.
Basicly, this technique gives the user the power to create five different "threads" of elemental Reiatsu: Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Lightning, and then "weave" them into any technique they happen to be doing. This increases the strength of the technique by 25% of its base strength, as well as add a new element to the technique. The user can weave all five elements into one technique, but they can only use each element once, meaning a possibly 125% boost in strength. Mastery of this technique brings it to 50% of its base strength per element. The restriction for elements still holds however.
The Elements created by this technique are the same Class as the technique that they are infused into. A Class Three technique with Elemental Fire Reiatsu threaded into it would be a Class Three Technique with a Class Three Fire Effect on it.
How to use technique: [It is as simple as thinking of what element to throw in with the next technique.]
Drawback: [While this technique is powerful, it comes with a few drawbacks as well. For every element used, the techniques cost increases by 50% more. The thing is, this is cumulative, meaning higher end techniques can start costing quite a bit of Reiatsu to throw around. Additionally, after two elements have been added, it takes time to infuse any more elements into the technique. Mastery brings it up to three before having to stop, but it takes a post more per element. While this happens, the technique is delayed until the elements are fully fused into it. For convinence, this technique also costs as much as a Class 1 technique to fully master.]

{Saiwan}
==========
Technique Name: [Saiwan #1 Sanseizui]
Class: [6]
Technique Type: [Kidou]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects: [This is a technique developed by the Kawada family and reserved only for members of their family or people they choose to teach it to. It is incredibly useful when used in certain situations and is primarily used as a means to escape an enemy or put oneself in an advantageous position in battle. This is a bakudo that requires the user to be physically touching an object no larger than a minivan or truck. After this kidou is used, the object that is being targeted will instantly be surrounded with a glow of light more intense than the sun’s. This is extremely distracting and can leave enemies completely blind for a few seconds if they look directly at it. It is especially formidable at night when people’s irises widen to take in more light. This bright light will last for a maximum of 3 posts or until the wielder decides they are done with it.
This spell is unable to be used on other people or living things such as plants. It does not cause any sort of harm to the object or alter its temperature, weight, or make up at all. It merely surrounds it in an intense light that sends out blinding, piercing rays in all directions. Prolonged exposure to such light could cause temporary blindness, headaches, dizziness, or even permanent blindness if one looked directly at it for longer than a few seconds. This bakudo is perfect for creating distractions or openings and can be a lethal asset when used at night. When used with the incantation, this bakudo becomes 50% brighter.]
Drawback: [This has the chance of blinding the person who casts it as well. Their eyes will be just as affected as their enemy’s by the light if they happen to look at it.]
Incantation: King of chaos. Queen of depression. Jack of wrath. Soar beyond us and become a star in the night sky. Never ending flares dance wildly over the horizon as you show your face.

Technique Name: [Saiwan #9 Ranpuketa]
Class: [4]
Technique Type: [Kidou]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects: [This is the ninth kidou in the typical Kawada member’s arsenal. It is a hado spell and resembles Hado #4 Byakurai in both function and appearance. It is, however, slightly stronger than Byakurai and much more plentiful in number. After this spell is used, all of the fingers on either of the user’s hands will begin to glow with a slight blue color. Each of these fingers is now capable of instantly firing a blue beam of pure, concentrated reiatsu at incredible speeds. The speed of Ranpuketa is roughly equivalent to that of a bala and it contains all the piercing power of the user’s zanpakutou. The true power of this technique lies in the sheer length of time that these shots can be stored. After this ability is used, the caster doesn’t need to feel rushed to use them. They can last up to an hour before fading away and don’t have to be used all at the same time. Another advantage to this ability is the rapid-fire possibilities it possesses. Multiple shots can be used without saying the name of the kidou or using an incantation. Sometimes it is a good idea to use this ability and fire off one or two shots early on so that the enemy knows what it does and is forced to be extra careful and watch their movements more carefully. This could provide an opening for some other method of attack. If the incantation is used then all of the user’s fingers will obtain a shot.]
Drawback: [If the user gets their arm or fingers cut off before they can use this technique, then the reiatsu they spent on it is lost. In comparison to other Class 4 kidou, the destructive force of each shot is rather low. What it loses in brute strength it makes up for in number.]
Incantation: [Down in the deep in the sea of despair. What’s left of suicide converges on the reflection of changes. There is no turning back now. You’ve woken. Get up. Get down. The sickness takes your life as you reap your harvest. Live forever. Die together.]

Technique Name: [Saiwan #11 Taiki Senko]
Class: [4, 3 - (Both Mastered)]
Technique Type: [Kidou]
Technique Element: [Water, Fire, Earth, Metal, Lightning, Air, Diamond]
Technique Description and Effects: Reiatsu pushes across the user's fists. This is specifically for punching. This pulls air to the user's fists with reiatsu, and then modifies and recomposes the air to achieve desired effects. The user can saturate or heat the air. If the user first drops his fists to the ground, he can use this on the ground too. An element of choice can be created on the user's fists, and it can be expelled in a blast attack too. Or, it can be prolonged so that the effects of the covering element transfer to all punches. This lasts for 5 posts.
The incantation allows for the elements to have double the user's reiatsu strength, and for them to last for 10 posts, and be able to afford three blasts instead of just one. Class 4 elements are Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Class 3 elements are Lightning, Diamond, and Metal.
Incantation: In the blackest hour of the darkest night. On the steepest descent of the most challenging hill. Be banished to both of these things by the might of the Emperor, and know your place insolent worm!
Drawback: The user will have to be careful not to be hit by their own fists with this technique. While it costs reiatsu, there is initially nothing that damages the user for this technique, besides the obvious small damage they can get from the elements that they try to control, though the reiatsu that they used to achieve this technique will do some shielding for their hands.

Technique Name: [Saiwan #14 Jouchaku]
Class: [3 (costs 250)]
Technique Type: [Kidou]
Technique Element: [None]
Technique Description and Effects: [This technique is one developed by the Kawada family intended to dispose of reiatsu-based attacks such as cero. Using the technique costs approximately 250 reiatsu to use, but successful execution of this bakudo will break down the target into fully absorbable reiatsu which the user can add to their own reiatsu pool. The bakudo creates a blue aura around the user’s hands which allow the effects of this technique to be used with ease. This ability is used in the same way that redirection is used by arrancar in that all the Kawada must do to activate it is “catch” the attack in his/her hand. After this is done, the reiatsu attack will shatter into tiny fragments of reiatsu that float up harmlessly into the air. The second step of this technique will cause some of the fragments of reiatsu to fly into the user’s hand and into their body. The user can only collect a maximum of half the reiatsu that their opponent spent on the technique. When used with the incantation, the user is able to absorb 2/3 of the reiatsu that their enemy spent on it while shattering the attack. Those who have this technique mastered don’t need to speak its name before activating it and can instead utter the name or incantation after its use.]
Drawback: [Attacks that are more than double the user's reiatsu strength in power will cost 250 reiatsu + whatever the technique cost to crush. If a technique is more than double the user's reiatsu strength, then the Kawada also won't be able to break it down into absorbable reiatsu while using it. It is also basically useless against weak attacks since it would not acquire any reiatsu from it. In almost all cases it is more beneficial to dodge rather than resort to using this ability. It is typically only used as a last resort.]

{Secret Techniques}
==========
Technique Name: [Secret Art: Kidou Fusion]
Class: [2]
Technique Type (Kido, Hollow/Arrancar Technique, Human World Dweller Technique, Other): [Kidou]
Usable By (Technique is available to which races?): [Kidou using races (Shinigami, Escudo, Akki)]
Technique Description and Effects (Explain appearance, powers, and effect):
[This Technique allows the user to fuse two or more kidou together before they are fired, making their arsenal more varied and creative for what spell they need at a given moment. This is the ultimate mastery of Kidou, and thus needs one of two requirements. Either the user must be a Technique Master and have 4 SKP in Kidou skills, or they must have spent 7 SKP in Kidou skills, such as Kidou itself and Mental Incantation. The Analysis Skill also adds to that SKP amount, since the user is able to analyze and deconstruct Kidou at a conceptual level. If they are not a Technique Master, who inherently have the ability to replicate techniques they see and understand, they must also be trained by someone who knows this technique.
But what exactly -is- Kidou Fusion? Put simply, it is the ability to borrow parts of two Kidou in order to mash them together in the way that the user needs. This is done by a system of "Form" and "Effect". All Kidou can be broken down into those two categories. They have physical shapes, and they have effects. For example, Hado #4: Byakurai has the Form of a Beam and the Effect of the Electrical element. Some Kidou can have more than one effect, since some are complicated, and the user can borrow which ones they need. Elements are always an option for the user to borrow.
But what do you mean borrow? Mash them together? Put simply, the user takes a Form, and at least one Effect, and combines them. Byakurai + Sho could make an electrical projectile. It could not make an electrical projectile that pushes, since Sho is donating its form. Exceptions will be included later when costs are described. Basically, Sho donates its Form, which is a small projectile, and takes on the element from Byakurai. It could also create a piercing projectile, since Byakurai do pierce. The flexibility is what makes this technique versatile and strong. When figuring out Class for clash purposes, the user may choose which class is dominant. So if you fuse a Class 5 and a Class 7, the result may be Class 7 or Class 5.
If this technique is Mastered, then the user can combine more than two Kidou together. This is done by multiple Kidou contributing Effects to one Form. So a Fusion of Sho (Form), Byakurai, and Shakkaho could be a small electrical projectile that explodes on contact with something. Or a Fusion of Sho, Byakurai, Shakkaho, and Tsuzuri Raiden (Form) could be a wave of electrical force that pushed things away and exploded. The combinations become much crazier when the technique is mastered.
But what about crazy high leveled Kidou that become so ridiculously overpowered when they are fused? Can you just imagine Sharknado being fused with Soukahou to fire infinite tornados of sharks?? That is a serious possibility, but there are limitations to this technique that avoid that amount of overpowered techniques being fused. Every Class of Kidou has a point value. For Class 8 it is 0, all the way up to Class 0 which is 8 points. The User's Class is what determines how many points they have to use. A class 1 character can't fuse anything into a Class 1 Kidou that isn't a Class 8 Kidou, for example. A class 1 character could, however, fuse 7 Class 7 techniques into one mega attack, though it would still be Class 7 for clash purposes. Mastering this technique grants one extra point, however Class 0 Kidou can still not be fused with anything else. Due to giving up release in order to master techniques, Technique Masters inherently have 1 more point to work with for their fusions.
Class 7 Technique: 1 Point
Class 6 Technique: 2 Points
Class 5 Technique: 3 Points
Class 4 Technique: 4 Points
Class 3 Technique: 5 Points
Class 2 Technique: 6 points
Class 1 Technique: 7 points

Any and all drawbacks that are associated with the technique are inflicted on the user, no matter how small a part of the Kidou is used. If you fuse Sharknado into something in order to do nothing more than give it the joke element of Shark, then the limb that fires that technique will receive cuts. If the effect of a Kidou is caused by an action, such as Baundo Zetsumei's effect of multiplying -when- it changes direction, then the effect of multiplying cannot be added unless it comes with the added "when it changes direction". The -only- exception to this is situational drawbacks. Situational Drawbacks are more like limitations. For example, "Kiss of New Breath" is a Kaido that cannot be used on yourself because you cannot kiss yourself. This is a limitation, not a drawback. By fusing this kidou into another medium, you would be able to administer it to yourself at possibly reduced efficiency.
Now for Cost. The cost of using this technique is equivalent to each part of the technique. So fusing two Class 7 techniques will put you down 25 reiatsu each, for a total of 50 reiatsu lost. It is also physically and spiritually demanding to fuse techniques. While Technique Masters and those with a 4 in Kidou might be able to fuse much more, even they will start to become weary and fatigued by fusing to their max amount of points frequently. For Kidou, Bakudo in particular, that are considered "auto-hits", like Haihin, when fused into anything the auto-hit property is considered neither an Effect nor part of the Form, and is simply lost in the fusion.

Class 0 Technique: Cannot be fused
Class 7 Character: 1 Point

Class 4 Character: 4 Points
Class 3 Character: 5 Points
Class 2 Character: 6 points

Technique Name: Reformatting
Class: 3
Technique Type: Kido
Technique Element: Varies
Technique Description and Effects:
This spell allows Taien to "reformat" his Kido. This is to say that by possessing this technique, he is able to alter Kido that he fires. As stated in his fighting style, though reiterated here.
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Reformatting}Taien's knowledge of his own Reiatsu lets him do something pretty cool with his Kidou. With the knowledge of how a technique is structured, Taien can actually "Reformat" the Kidou he uses. What does that actually mean though? What can Taien do with this? There are five things Taien can Reformat about his Kidou: Category, Shape, Effect, Density, and Structure. What do those all mean? Well, let's get into it!
The first one is a bit confusing. Category? What's that? It refers to how Kidou are classified into three groups: Hadou, Bakudou, and Kaidou. Using his knowledge of Reiatsu and how Kidou are structured, Taien can actually alter the Category of a Kidou! Let's use Sokkatsui as an example. If Taien altered it from a Hadou to a Bakudou, it would have a "Binding" effect, instead of a "Destruction" one. However, he is limited in that he cannot alter any technique to become either a Kaido or Hoho. Alteration of category increases cost by 25%.
The second thing he can Reformat about a Kidou is it's Shape. The Shape of the Kidou affects it's outer workings. For example, he could make Sokkatsui into a Hawk like blast instead of a regular blue-ish fireball. Now, why is this useful? Doing this actually focuses the Reiatsu in the Kidou to a more refined state. It doesn't increase the power though, oh no. It increases maneuverability, and can be used to create Kido that get through varied situations, such as around a corner, or through a hole in the wall. A boomerang would allow a Kido to return to the user if it has not hit already. Changing the size of a Kidou isn't possible when changing the Shape, however. Alteration of shape increases Kido cost by 25%.
Thirdly is Effect. Now, what can Taien do to the effect of a Kidou? He can alter it, within certain limitations. The first is that it can't stray too far from the original effect. He can't make Sokkatsui explode into water or something, it's not something he can do. He has to work inside of the Kidou's limitations. However, causing something like Byakurai to instead act like a real lightning bolt and blast apart something instead of piercing it is within his range. It's useful for giving new purpose to techniques. He's also able to do something like cause a Sokkatsui to explode five seconds after it's been cast. So instead of exploding on impact, it would explode in five seconds. He can alter little details like this as well. However, he cannot use this to make a Kido any faster or give it more destructive potential. Giving something the potential of a real lightning bolt does not mean he can make it as fast as one. Giving something higher explosive capacity does not mean he increases the power of the explosion, only the size. Alteration of effect increases Kido cost by 50%.
Fourth is Density. Taien can alter the Density of his Kidou at will, resulting in them either being a lot bigger or smaller. What does this do though? Increasing the Spiritual Density of a Kidou causes it to become smaller and smaller, making it a much more dense Kidou. Taien can do this up to three times, reducing the size of the Kidou by 1/4th for each time. What does this do? It makes the Kidou a lot more dense, causing it's Reiatsu Strength to go up by 50% for each time! However, this causes the effects of a Kidou to be larger as well. If Sokkatsui caused a massive explosion already, it's explosion size would be increased by 1/4th as well for each time. This is quite a scary skill. Making it denser also causes it to be a lot harder to tear apart. Each density increase makes the requirements for breaking apart Taien's techniques higher. The first increase makes it so you need 50% more RS to break it down. Second makes it 100% more needed. Third makes it 150% more needed. However, this causes the Kidou to become smaller, so it's a lot easier to dodge than before. Cost of the Kido in question increases by 50% with each density change, and it can only be done on up to two Kido per post when Reformatting is mastered. One if it is not. On the other hand, loosening the density causes the Kidou to become bigger! It's also a lot more unstable. The effects are bigger, but because of the unstable nature of the Kidou, the RS goes down. 15%, 25%, 50% are the decreases. Taien is able to double the size of the Kidou this way. Each doubling increases the cost of the Kido by 50% as well. For both reduction and expansion of density, the Kido cost increase stacks. If it starts at 200, the first expansion of that technique goes to 300. The next one is 450. The one after that is 675. Etc.
The last thing Taien can reformat is the Structure of a Kidou. This is altering the insides of a Kidou, instead of the outsides. Taien can tamper with the inner structure of a Kidou to include the effect of another Kidou, a sort of fusion of effects. It's not a true "Kidou Fusion", but it is a fusion of a different sort. Structuring the effect of a Sokkatsui into a Byakurai would cause that Byakurai to both pierce and explode. So, it would pierce something, and then explode inside of it. Pretty nasty eh? The order of the structure is also important. If he did the reverse, a Sokkatsui with a Byakurai's effect, the explosion would also pierce through things. Doing this though uses both the Kidou's Reiatsu Cost though, despite it not being a full fusion. This adds a 50% cost increase to the TOTAL sum of the fused Kido. This is to say that if a Kido costs 200 and another costs 100, their combined total is 300, and to use this power on them, Taien must pay 450.

History:
{Part One - The Beginning, or Recruitment Into The Seireitei!}
Taien Hadohou was born over a hundred years ago in the 65th District of the Rukongai. As a baby, he was taken care of for a while, but was abandoned around the age of five. From then on, it was just him, wandering around the 65th District and trying to survive. Unfortunately, it was a district very close to the 80th District, meaning times were usually tough, people would kill you over water, or some other sort of misfortune would befall you. Strangely though, Taien didn't seem to mind. He was always smiling, never cried, never got angry. He always wore a smile and took any sort of beating that came his way. No one knew why exactly, just that the kid was freaky. Some even said he had a glow of power around him, but most people dismissed that as nonsense.
Of course, some people who could see it were attracted to this aura of power. People usually want to be near people of power, or they just want that power for themselves. Some people came to him because of his bright personality. In any case, by the time he was ten, Taien had a fairly large group of friends. This was something essential to surviving in a lawless district like this. It was a group that would help members in trouble, avoid some of the more violent and powerful people, and helping out the less fortunate people of the district. Their "base" so to speak was Taien's old house, long since abandoned, but kept in moderately good condition by him and some of his friends.
Fast forward a hundred and fourty years, Taien and his gang have become the dominant force in the northern area of the 65th district. Things are relitively peaceful, no fighting with the other "gangs" in the area have gone on recently. Everyones just enjoying the down time between fighting the next fight for their lives. Little does anyone realize that something would happen today that would change Taien's life forever.
"Hai! Hazo-San! How are things coming along for the new addition to the house?" Taien exclaimed cheerfully up to a man on a ladder, who was hammering a board in to place. The man looked over at Tain and replied, "Its going well Taien-Niisan." Though they weren't actually brothers, you kind of put together a mismatched familiy in the Rukongai. That was just the way things went in this kind of society. And then, it happend.
"H-HELP! TAIEN-NIISAN!!" A voice cryed out. Taien immediately turned in the direction of the cry for help. The sound of running feet soon followed. Suddenly, a young man, looking to be around fifteen or so, rushed out of a side way by the house. "Ohh! Kaicho-San, what is the matter?" Taien said with a surprised expression on his face. Kaicho was breathing deeply, he had just run extremely fast from something, and when he caught his breath, he gasped out, "Haio. . Haio was attacked by that group that we took supplies from!!" he finally got out. "Oya oya?? That one group we took that mellon from? Kuro Fukei was it?" Taien asked. "Ye-yes! It was them! Come on, we have to go help Haio! Hes going to be murdered otherwise!!"
"Well then, Hazo-San! It looks like we have a change in plans! Please grab my sword from my room and then meet us at. . . where are we going again?" Taien said in a sort of happy-go-lucky voice. "The marketplace, by the Hachigoru Ramen Shop!!" Kaicho said. "Right, ill meet you guys there." Hazo said, abbandoning his work and jumping through an open window. "All right, lets go save Haio-San!" Taien said cheerfully.
Taien and Kaicho raced down the path that Kaicho had come before, navagating the mazelike structure of the Rukongai with ease. It wasn't long before they came to the spot. There was a ring of tough looking people, they were all shouting things like "RIP HIS HEAD OFF!", "GUT HIM LIKE A FISH!!" and, "MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF HIM TO THOSE THAT DEFY US!!". A blood thirsty bunch to say the least. " 'Scuse me, pardon me, ahh! Sorry about that!" Taien said as he pushed his way into the center. In the center was obviously the main spectical. A huge guy with a bloodied up sword was standing over a man who was also bloody and beat down on the ground. "THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS TO THE PEOPLE WHO DEFY US, KURO FUKEI!!!" the large man roared. The people in the circle yelled out in enthusiasm as well.
"Oya oya, do you mind if I take him back now then?" Taien's voice pierced the noise. Suddenly everything stopped and everyone turned to look at Taien. "Y-YOU!! YOU DARE TO SHOW YOUR FACE HERE, TAIEN HADOHOU!? YOUR GROUP WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DISASTEROUS BREAK IN AND THE THEFT OF A MONTHS WORTH OF FOOD!!" the large man, and obviously the leader of Kuro Fukei, roared out in anger. "Oya oya! We only took a single mellon! Also, what does being "angry" mean? I never understood it." Taien said to the man. "WHAT THE HELL?! IM GOING TO SPLIT YOU IN HALF YOU RUNT!!
"Oya oya! A fight! How exciting! Hazo-San! My blade please!" Taien exclaimed in an overly happy tone. A blade came sailing over the ring of men, and landed near Taien. Taien quickly picked the blade up and drew it. Soon there was a clashing of blades in the air. A little ways from the fight, a rare patroll of Shinigami came out. "Hey, do you guys hear that?" "Ya, what is it? It sounds like a fight." "Ohh goodie! A fight! Can we go watch it?!" "Sigh, all right, we can go watch it."
Back at the fight, the huge guy and Taien were still going at it. The big guy had the advantage of stregnth, but Kaien had more speed than him. So far the guy hadn't landed any clean hits on Taien, but Taien had inflicted a number of small superfical slash wounds. "Huh, that kids not half bad." one of the Shinigami said. The Shinigami patroll group was standing on the roof of one of the nearby buildings, to get a better view on the fight. "Ya. . theres something weird about him though. You guys can see it to right?" "Ya, its as if he has a glow around him. I wonder what that is? Normally people from this district don't have that high of spiritual power." While the Shinigami group was contemplating this, the fight was escalatating.
"STAND STILL AND DIE!!" the huge guy roared. He slashed at Taien again, but Taien avoided it. He returned a slash at the guy, grazing his leg with the tip of the sword. And then, everything went wrong. Taien slipped in a slick of blood at hit the ground hard."Ughaaaah!" Taien cried out as the world went red for a moment. That was all the time the large guy needed. He picked Taien up by the head and roared, "NOW YOU DIE!!. He slashed his blade at Taien's neck and there was a splurt of blood.
"T-T-TAIEN-NIISAAAAN!!" Kaicho's voice screamed out as he saw what happened. Over at the Shinigami, they just sighed. "Well, thats over then. Lets break it up before anyone else dies shall we?" the leader of the group said, moving to Shunpo into the middle of the crowd and disperse it. But a hand grabbing his shoulder stopped it. "W-wait, look!" the lead Shinigami looked back at the fight. Something was off. Or rather, there was a lack of something being off. Taien's head was still on his shoulders. The blood came from the man who just tried to lop his head off. His hands were hurt from the rebound. "What the- what the hell!? How is that possible!? Is that kids Spiritual Pressure so high that it just deflected the blow from that huge guy!?" the Shinigami patrol leader exclaimed.
"WHAT THE HELL!? WHA-WHAT ARE YOU!? R-RETREAT EVERYONE!! RETREAT!!" The leader of the Kuro Fukei screamed out. The entire circle backed off and ran away, as if repelled by some invisble force. "Oya oya? Why am I not beheaded right now?" Taien said in wonder. "T-T-T-TAIEN NIISAAAN!!! YOU'RE ALIVE!!" Kaicho yelled out in happiness. He then proceeded to tackle Taien. "Oya oya! Yes, im happy to see you to, but we have to get Haio-san some medical treatment first!"
"We'll take care of that for you, on the condition that you listen to our offer that is." said a voice from behind. "S-Shinigami?? What are you doing here? You never come down to this district!" Kaicho said slightly in fear, slightly awed. "Oya oya, what condition might that be Shinigami-San?" Taien asked. "To be blunt, we want you to join the Gotei 13." said the lead Shinigami. "Well, if thats what it takes to help Haio-San here, I happily accept!" Taien said, obviously, happily.
"Bu-but Taien-niisan!! What about the rest of us?! What will we do with you gone!?" Kaicho cried out in despair. Just then, Taien put his hand on Kaicho's head, and said, "Kaicho-San, im going to do this because it will let me protect you all better! And not just you, the entire Seireitei! I can't think of anything else of such a high honor! Tell the others that I am doing this for them, and I will visit them as soon as possible!" then Taien turned to the Shinigami, "Will you help my friend now then, Shinigami-San?" Taien asked in a happy tone. "Right, Sazuri! The medical kit!" the lead Shinigami ordered. In a few minutes, Haio was all bandaged up. "Well then, shall we be off Shinigami-San?" Taien asked as they walked away from the 65th District. This was the begining of the life as a Shinigami for Taien.

{Part Two - The Academy, or In Which Many Interesting Things Happen To An Interesting Man!}
The first stop on Taien's Academy adventure was the principle's office. It was there that he met the head of the Academy, and he was evaluated. Despite the officers' observations and testimony, Taien still needed to be evaluated for what kind of power he would have. It was at this point that it was discovered that Taien would not aquire a Zanpakuto, but would be one of the rare individuals that would most likely go on to become a master of techniques, someone with a whole soul but no Spirit partner.
With that in mind, Taien signed up for mostly Reiatsu courses and the like, though he did take things like Kendo and Speed. It didn't hurt to be versed in the other parts of the Shinigami skill set. It was during his first day of classes that Taien met the man that would be his Kidou instructor and teacher of all things Reiatsu related, Reti-Sensei. While the first day was a rough start, Taien ended up doing very well. The rest of his classes went great as well. His first day at the Academy was a success!
Taien's first year at the Academy was quite exciting, and he ended up doing a lot of different things and meeting a lot of interesting people. He participated in a lot of events as well. He had fought against the Segunda Espada, and sort of lost that one. He trained with the Kidou Corps Vice-Commander, Takakazu Sakanoue, and created two new skills in the process. He went to many a lecture and attended many an adventure. He had quite a good time.
During that year, he also mentored and fought against several other students. While many were memorable, the most memorable student he ever had was one Kyomei Mitsukaru. He was like himself, a Shinigami lacking a Zanpakuto and a Spirit to go with it. However, he showed huge potential with Elemental Kidou, and Elemental Reiatsu in general. His power was that of the 'Aura of Kidou', something unique to him and the basis of his powers. Because of this, and of his seemingly natural affinity for the Elements, Taien taught him a certain technique. It was the same technique he had learned from observing Takakazu Sakanoue.
The training was quite interesting as well. Taien saw what the Elements could do when utilized by a person intune with them, and also how to better improve on his technique as well. Unfortunately, the training was cut off the first time because Kyomei Mitsukaru had been adopted by the Kuchiki, making him Kyomei Kuchiki. He was transferred to the Sixth Division that day. It wasn't until Taien found a hidden room, a room connected to all of the Gotei Thirteen Division Barracks that the training resumed.
Taien was able to teach Kyomei two more elements during that session, they were making good progress. However, something happened in between that time-frame. The Vandenreich Invasion. Taien didn't hear from Kyomei-San for quite a while, until one faithful day. . .

{Part Three - The Kidou Corps, or The Beginnings of a Vice!}
Taien had found out what had happened to Kyomei-San. He had become the new Kidou Corps Commander! He was also making Taien his Vice-Commander, and had essentially given Taien a 'Get out of Jail Free' card for the Academy. It was that day that Taien left the Academy behind to join the Kidou Corps. Taien and Kyomei were also able to finish their then neglected training session, allowing Kyomei to learn Taien's technique.
Aside from that, not much else has happened quite yet. This story is just being told, after all. . .

Item Name: F.O.R.M Prototype: Overwatch
Item Type: Time Piece/Defensive Instrament
Item Description: A fairly nice looking watch at first glance. Its completely black, save for the hands and the numbers. The hands and numbers are crimson red on the right half while the other half is sky blue. Normally all it does is tell time. However, with a press of a button, the watch takes creates a four foot purple circle of energy a foot from the surface of the watch. The circle of Reiatsu has a strength of 400, and deflects anything with lower Reiatsu strength than 400. The watch has four uses, and takes five posts to "reset". A second button on the other side of the clock face allows the strength to go up to eight hundred for one use, but it burns the energy in the watch out for a while, taking twice as long to recharge. As this is a prototype, there are some things wrong with it. While the watch could be used in succession, it overheats the circutry, causing it to burn out. As such, there is a two post gap between uses, otherwise the watch really will break. More advanced models will have it corrected, but until then, it breaks even once overused. It takes a Class 3 person to actually be able to use this watch's battle function.
