There was something almost therapeutic about having to deal with patrons. One by one, each and every day she found herself dealing with at least a few. Getting Handsy with one of the strippers. Trying to do something that wasn't previously agreed upon. Or even trying to skimp out on payment. This and a wide variety of other complications did tend to involve the use of force. And Chiku had so very very much of that to use.  And well...when she wasn't doing that.....


"What are you doing....is it done? I feel like it's done."

Sometimes Chiku could hardly stand how....squirmy Subida was. A roll of her eyes and she gently turned the guard over, letting them sit up and folding her arms as she watched them looking around, snagging a mirror from off to the side before staring at their back through the reflection. The look of surprise was one that Chiku could hardly miss. Or rather....the sound of it. The Scorpion smiled softly as she felt that contortion of facial features, her own version of sight well enough for her to sense through those special hairs in her shell.

"How on earth do you even... That hearing of yours is..........special." Subida murmured softly, gently tapping the little design that had been drawn on with the ink. Naturally Chiku had been trying to get Subida to let her give them a tattoo for some time. She honestly didn't even need to listen, she'd done a few by touch before. However the other guard was not always so.....keen on the very idea of such a thing. Pulling their top back on she suddenly gave Chiku a wry look.

"Look A Drawing is one thing, but a tattoo is entirely different. I .......do not wish to insult you. It is simply that I do not trust ANYONE to give me such a thing! It is nothing personal!" She noted defensively, causing Chiku's smile to merely widen in response. She did so love this little game with Subida, watching, remaining silent, letting them fill in the blanks of what she wanted to say. They had known eachother long enough to say the least, these days Chiku didn't even have top open her mouth for Subida to recognize the look in her eyes.

NAturally Subida only grew more defensive at the continued silence, knowing that Chiku was more than enjoying herself she rose to her feet and closed her eyes, a cleansing breath through her nostrils as she simply...shrugged off the smug look on the Scorpion's face. "It's....fine. I don't need your approval. Thank you for the...drawing. I'm sure Nida will be pleased... Teach her to call me a....'grannie'." She murmured, shaking her head.

Before Chiku could give Subida a look, there was a loud bump in the other room. The two guards looking at eachother before suddenly rising to their feet, rushing out. Of course. Chiku was aware of the situation far before Subida was. The echoes of noise through the door painting a picture in her mind as to the situation, one of the men was giving a guard a hard time. The sound of grunting filled the air and the patron could be heard clearly as Chiku walked out into the hallway as Subida filed in behind her.

"Ridiculous! 120 ryo for a lapdance?! Listen to me you little cunt! I'll not be robbed by some who-!"that noise was cut short as Chiku's stinger snaked out, smacking the curved portion against the man's back, causing them to turn just in time for that hooked point to curl underneath his chin, and Chiku stepping forward to give him a very...very displeased look.  Those multiple arms, and the fact that she very pointedly was cracking her knuckles.

Quite suddenly, the 120 ryo did not seem so ridiculous, and the woman calmly reached out, grasping him by his wrist as she nodded to the door. Alas he was...not one to cooperate. The very touch that she offered seem to cause some swell in the man, his chest barreling out as he suddenly drew in an indignant breath. In the corner of her mind, she could hear Subida preparing to draw weapon on the man, but a swish of her tail caused the other guard to back down.

"UnHAND me at once! Do you know who I AM?! I am thirteenth Seat, Squad three! And the day that I am manhandled by some BEASt is the day I-!" He huffed and blustered, his hands waving animately as he began to reach to his waist. She could hear it. The way the sound molded against the smooth object. She did not know what it was. It could have been a paint brush, the handle of a mop, or a blade. She didn't care. She grabbed him by the front, those curled claws digging into flesh as she promptly stomped over to the door, twisted, and threw him bodily out the nearest window. a sound of absolute shock as he landed.

The guard narrowed her eyes, pointed mandibles curling as she made her way out the door and began to apprach the man as he drew himself to his feet, drawing his Zanpaku'to and turning to face the woman, that head tilting slightly as she prepared herself, a general look of disinterest in her eyes as she regarded him. So he really was a shinigami. She could sense his spiritual pressure starting to perk up. Why was it always them who put up the biggest fights?

Well Almost. She simply stared ahead as he began to circle her, folding her arms as she kept tabs on his whereabouts. The man was trying to be sneaky. Moving this way and that, flashily swiping with his blade as he looked at her with complete indignation. She could tell he wanted to say something, hear that barely-contained breath of his. Of course... he was trying to be sneaky. He wondered if she was using some sort of trick. Her compound eyes or something? She imagined he had any number of theories. It really didn't matter to her.

What did matter was that this punk was no seated officer. She could tell by his spiritual pressure. Watching him as he closed in, suddenly raising that blade and yelling as he slashed at her, she simply reached out, snapping her hands around that gleaming metal, eyes narrowing slightly as she promptly twisted, snapping the blade in half before she twisted, ignoring the look of surprise on her face as she slammed her tail into his side, knocking him over as that blade clattered to the ground.

He recovered, attempting to retrieve his weapon when that tail snaked in, peeking in and curving up right infront of his face. She felt the fear suddenly gush into his system, the bravery leaving his body as muscles began twitching uncontrolably, a sudden shaky tension that she heard even before he began to speak of anything. She didn't want to listen to whatever he had to say. Her own speech was....well...limited. She had a lot to practice. And this man certainly wasn't making her feel any better.

"Out. " She grunted in that gravely, yet still feminine voice. She picked up his broken weapon and promptly tossed it at him, snorting through several holes in her shell, making a loud hissing noise which seemed to rob him of any remaining nerve he might have had. Barely remembering to snatch up his broken weapon, the man promptly began to buck it down and away from the establishment, throat whimpering and dick swinging in the wind, those ears of Chiku's watching as they ran off, shaking her head softly. No way was he in third squad.

"You didn't have to break it." Came Subida's murmur. Chiku only snorted, glancing over her shoulder, a gesture she had found to be very comforting to the sight-reliant.

"Did not have to Take Ryo Either." She noted with a soft smile, holding up a bundle of cash that the man had dropped on the ground, the both of them laughing as they went back inside.

As the establishment settled down some, Chiku and Subida made their way inside, tilting her head this way and that as she checked on the girls. Some of them were settling down, but one or two were still a bit shaken up, and in the corner of her perception, she could sense Master Yasu stepping into the room. Immediately she bowed her head in respect to the young man, causing a look of surprise on his face before he smiled sheepishly, chuckling.



"Hey now, what's going on here?" He asked with a tilt of his head, glancing at some of the more rattled girls. Several of them visibly made efforts to still themselves, and Subida soon made her way over, opening her mouth to explain before Chiku promptly interrupted her, stepping forward and clearing her throat before giving her explanation. "There was an unruly customer sir. Another shinigami, Male, 5'4", about 134 pounds. Class 34." She reported, using the class system that the brothel itself had.

It was hardly official, but it was, generally speaking, based on what sort of patrols a specific shinigami could handle based on district. Hardly very strong, she pegged his patrol route to be around mid-thirties. Yasu gave a slow nod in response to the report, looking Chiku up and down for a moment before a pleased little smile crossed his face, raising his brows a bit as he asked. "You got his weight?" he inquired, folding his arms rather knowingly as Chiku took a moment to realize she'd given mayhaps a bit too much.

"I had to...manually remove him from the premesis. He was not very heavy." She stated softly now, head slightly bowed as Yasu gave a soft little chuckle in response to her admission, glancing around and lightly tapping his chin. "Always so efficient. No broken windows or anything. You toss them through the door this time?" He asked mirthfully.

"Window. She just has good aim." Came Subida's response, earning something of a betrayed look from Chiku before Yasu shook his head in admiration. "Even better. But that being said I think that's a little much for today in terms of excitement. Ariu you're shaking like a leaf... Chiku, Subida, you two take her into the back room and help her relax. Ajora, you don't mind covering for her do you?" He inquired, looking to the girl's in question.

There was a nod from the both of them, Ajora giving Ariu a sympathetic look before making her way to the room. Before the girl could respond, Chiku moved in and promptly picked them up, a soft little squeak escaping the girl as she was picked up, an indignant little grunt soon following, much to Chiku's amusement as she carried them to the guard's room in the back, Subida picking up the rear, giving a glance over her shoulder before shutting the door.

Setting Ariu down, she patted them on the head as the girl looked about. It wasn't very often that one of the girls got to hang around in the back, usually they had their own areas to hang about, so Ariu was naturally rather curious about things. Chiku simply smiled, patting them on the head as she sat herself down, folding her legs and gently clearing her throat as she did so, lightly patting the matted floor infront of her, causing Ariu to sit down.

Reaching out, she laid the girl out flat before she moved to the side, Subida sliding in and proceeding to give the girl a massage. It took all of a few moments for the woman to start calming down. Seeing that Subida had things under control, Chiku promptly removed her top, all but baring herself to the pair before she began to do pushups, face set in stone as she began lifting herself off the floor with those multiple arms of hers, rotating which ones she used as Ariu looked on.

"You sure can do a lot of those...."

A pause was given, Chiku shifting her attention to Ariu for a moment before she continued to exercise, smiling just a bit as she responded. "I certainly can. I need to be strong to make sure I can protect you girls. You're new so you shouldn't really worry about it for the time being. Though I have to say, you have some odd reiatsu, even for us." She pointed out, eyes closing for a moment as she took a moment to take in the girl's reiatsu.

The look of shock on Ariu's face was very clear, evidently not having expected anyone in ... a place like this to have much of a sense of spiritual pressures. Immediately she began hiding hers, a worried look on her face as Chiku simply rolled her eyes softly. "No need to hide it. You fit right in. Lot of the girls have weird ones. They make sure to hide them around the customers of course, but it's no biggie. Master Tasu finds them from all over." She stated simply, clearly unbothered by the fact.

The girl went silent for a while, seeming to consider the words that Chiku said, and whilst she continued to work herself, Chiku took a moment to reallly get a sense of the girl. She was very small, enough to make one wonder if she was in her earlier years, not that that mattered much in soul society these days. However Chiku did sense something a bit....weirdly old about the girl. Something she usually only sensed from...


"Mister Yasu.... Saved me from the shinigami."

Chiku stopped, and she could tell Subida stopping as well. Subida glanced in her direction, Chiku simply giving a very subtle nod of her head before she slowly sat up, folding her arms for a moment before glancing down at Chiku, staring past them as her mandibles lightly scratched at the tip of her own chin. Before she or Subida could say much more the girl piped up again, with further....surprises.
"I was a human....sortof. But... I was causing too much trouble... one day the shinigami picked me up. And they..."

Further talk was cut off s Chiku gave a dismissive wave of her tail, resting her cheek in her palm for a moment as she took a deep breath, calming herself for a moment before speaking again. "Plenty of girls here have it in bad with Soul Society. Subida here came in with Ajora. The Shinigami accused them of being arrancar. Young Master Yasu intervened in time to save them. Paid the shinigami to stop being such idiots and realize they were just normal girls. Brought them in, Subida became a guard and...well you met Ajora."

The girl paused, nodding slowly before Chiku Continued. "It doesn't matter what happen. You're not in any danger of being ratted out by us. And if any Shinigami give you trouble. You let us know. We've handled their kind before, and we do it again. Master Yasu has connections with one of the squads, helps the shipments of alcohol from the human world so he can get in contact with some of the higher seated officers. If there's anything Shinigami hate it's looking incompetent."

Ariu seemed satisfied with this answer, nodding her head softly before a soft little smile spread over her face, brightening up as she let Subida finish with her massage. Once the girl was nice and calm, the sent her back to work, and they watched as the bouncy young woman headed off to the upstairs where her own room was. For a long time neither of them spokem until finally Chiku began hacking up a storm, grunting and spitting phlem out onto the floor, Subida rolling her eyes in response.

"Was there really any reason to strain yourself? You're goign to ruin your throat like that. Just talk like you always do. You only have to talk fancy around the high-paying customers, or if one of them wants to take you for a spin." She informed her coworker. To that Chiku simply snorted, rubbing at her throat and settling down, rolling her eyes as she gave a roll of her shoulders. "She stressed. Brute talk no calm her down." She murmured, taking a moment to fall silent before adding.

"It alright? Lying to her?" She asked, causing Subida's brows to perk up before slowly shaking her head, making her way to the door and turning the key, locking it as she sighed. "Master Yasu wants her to work another week or so. We need to have her in for good before telling her she's working with Arrancar." She murmured softly, eliciting a smile from chiku.

"Would think Shinigami would know. Money make them stupid for sure." She noted mirthfully, the very memory a great source of amusement, even bringing a smile from the usually-reserved arrancar guard, pulling her sleeve back to run her fingers along an old scar. "It seems so..... Which reminds me. You owe me a spar. Do you not?" She ventured, looking over her shoulder at Chiku.

A Snort escaped from the scorpion, shaking her head and grunting softly as she made her way to her feet, something of a displeased look on her face as she gave her neck an idle rub. "Not sure why. You always win." The Guard muttered moodily, a soft little smile spreading across Subida's features before she headed out the back door, leaving Subida to simply sit there, head in her palm as she sighed. She knew she had a good five minutes before Subida came back in and dragged her outside. She hated sparring with them.
