These namesake boots of mine give an extra two hundred strength to whatever you hit. But who cares, more breaking things!
I CARE YOU GLUTINOUS MORON! FIRST of all, it only increases the impact of your strikes, not your strength itself! SECONDLY, the impact is only increased for its weight! Yeah! Dese suckas weigh tons! SHUT UP!These boots can, and are, made in various sizes and weights. For every hundred pounds added to the boots, the impact is increased by fifty. So, starting at four hundred pounds- I WILL MURDER YOU! -these heavyweight boots can only be worn by the strongest of warriors! The weight of the boots must match the wearer's strength. Not only that, but the closer the weight is to the user's strength, the more taxing it is for the user in fights, and even walking. By the way, these boots will impact the ground you're walking on with the full force every time, so don't try your hand at tap dancing in my boots. MY BOOTS! An' da 'xtra pounds ain't cheap eitha. GRAAAAH!
To simplify, to start, these boots start off as simple boots, covering the ankles and below. As the weight increases, it requires more material to compensate for the demand. The most these boots can ever cover is the knees and everything below, once the weight-cap hits one thousand pounds, with the minimum only covering like shoes at 400. The boots are hard to remove, and can be dangerous to try and take off mid combat once you start to run out of stamina. The boots also damages anything it walks upon with the full force of its impact strength, so if your boots give you an additional 200, the ground beneath you will suffer dearly, and will most instantly draw attention, ruining any stealth you might be going for. On the plus side however, this added impact will help against clashes involving the boot, letting you power through weaker attacks.
These boots can only be destroyed by a force wielding a 400 greater offence stat than its weight, meaning if it weighs 1000 pounds, you're going to need a 1400 to destroy it. This only applies when the boot is not being used to attack. To wear these boots though, your strength, at minimum, needs to match the boot's weight. 500 pounds? 500 str. The closer the weight is to your actual str stat, will increase the stamina drain tremendously, so it is recommended that you get a weight at around half your str, or higher for both ease in fights, and the ability to punch off by breaking it in fights when desperate. Also, don't tapdance. Ever.
Price: 10,000 to start. An extra 1000 per 100 pounds, after the minimum starting 400 pounds.
