Plotline: [The mission cast by Black Hand succeeded. The pills were delivered, and the drugs were distributed throughout many people in the Soul Society. But, at what cost? The crime boss known as Dirty Slutty Freddy was killed by Squad 6's Sozen Kuchiki. Xcution's #1 man, Kento Sasaki, was destroyed by Squad 8's Taiho Kasumi'Oji. Douma, writer of the song Gangnam Style, and Asmokon a free Quincy were also captured.

Those captured will be sent to the Underground Senzaikyu Prison System... an underground prison for the monsters of the world. How? On one hand, Asmokon Masurao was sent there by the machinations of string pulling of Sozen Kuchiki, who intends for him to keep watch for two weeks of Douma and an ally named Darnell, who were tasked by Squad 13's Souza Kuchiki with infiltrating the Senzaikyu Prison System to talk to the man named Petrov, also recently captured, and learn why he intentionally allowed Sozen Kuchiki to defeat and capture him.

Meanwhile, a surprise is learned by Okami of the Shihoin Family through conversation with Jinbei Kawada. The traitor whose actions resulted in the disgrace of the Shihoin, Hiroshi, is also in this prison system where the prisoners are being sent. He is alive and well. And perhaps, just perhaps, Okami might want to speak to him.

And finally, there is Jin Yamada, called the criminal Anarchy. Why is he here? He is in disguise in Soul Society to infiltrate this prison himself. He will begin by posing as a Squad 1 lackey and find his way there somehow. Why? Because he needs to see the man named Steve Lee again. The man who made him an offer to aid in cleansing Soul Society.

But, in the background of all of these stories, there is a puppeteer. Someone pulling strings from everywhere. A plot that has been boiling for hundreds of years.

Actual... Naruto music?!

I need you both to investigate the Bount known as Petrov, who for crimes committed centuries ago will be sent to the Underground Senzaikyu Prison System. He's at least as strong as my father, but he allowed my father to easily subdue and capture him. I want to know why. If he could have fought far more furiously and dealt far more damage than he did, then what was holding him back? It is no secret that he despises my father. For him to actively allow himself to be defeated and captured indicates a strategic move. So, I need you to get close to him, and discover exactly what's on his mind. What is Petrov planning?

That was Souza Kuchiki's directive to Darnell and Douma, both of whom, now in white robes indicating their status as prisoners, were being transported to the underground prison by a long, narrow, rickety elevator with six guards inside surrounding them. Considering that one of those guards was Taiho Kasumi'Oji and another was Sozen Kuchiki, both of whom had killed some of Douma and Darnell's allies not hours ago, it was safe to say that attempts at undermining the guards wasn't going to happen. Darnell, for some reason, however, didn't seem all that worried. Well, maybe he'd been in prison before and thought he could escape.

"Eyo, so, do you really have that much fun in your hometown?" Darnell asked Douma. Ever since Douma had been unmasked with whatever disguise, Darnell had been questioning him nonstop about "his hometown" or whether or not he was "good with the ladies." In particular, Darnell had been adapting some sort of horse stance and gallop dancing with his hands held out in front of him, pretending to ride a horse or something. It was a weird dance, and he always made the same sound of OP! OP OP OP! After that, he would laugh and grin, revealing that some of his teeth had been knocked out during the battle.

As the elevator opened up at the very bottom floor, Douma and Darnell were released down a narrowing tunnel, until each of them was placed in cells. Completely separate cells, with nothing in them but Seki Seki stone floors, walls, and ceiling, and heavy doors of some sort of durable metal material which had no windows and were slammed shut, and locked in multiple ways. Darnell was put into a cell first, after a, "WUT, BUT OG LUSH IS A FUCKIN' MUSE, YO! YOU GOTTA LET ME BUNK WIT MAH NIGGA! C'MONNNNN!!!!" And then, Douma was led into his own cell, several floors down, and slammed shut in there.

Before he entered, they explained to him, "The restraints on your wrists will never be removed, and will always suppress you. The cells are unbreakable and inescapable. Your meal time will be 15 minutes each day, and your physical recess will be 30 minutes each day. And you will not see the light of day again until your sentence is up." So, this was the famed prison. Not even Kagami was likely to have ever seen it. It was said only Captains could visit at will. The inescapable prison for monsters. Were it not for Souza Kuchiki pulling strings, it was likely Kagami really would never have seen the sun again.

Godfather is awesome

The criminal Douma has been tasked by my son to infiltrate the underground prison. It isn't in my son's nature to hide things or to pull behind the scene strings. He is not a manipulative person. He is a very upfront, straightforward person. For him to do something like this means that he has a plan that we will see soon. He won't be hiding it. He will be directly informing us of what his intentions are later. Before that, however, given that I am meant to be weary of his eventual desire to conquer me, I need to know what he wants. To learn his intentions before he wants me to. I want you to trail Douma, and learn for me. What is my son planning?

Sozen Kuchiki's directive to Asmokon Masurao, who would be in an elevator down which was separate from Douma and Darnell. His guards were Harle, Alexander Kuma-Hebi, and several other unnamed people. Included in that was even the Lieutenant himself, Souza Kuchiki. This meant that trying to subdue the guards in one way or another was impossible. Two Captains were already too much for one lone person, especially a person restricted by reiatsu sealing cuffs, but now there was also someone renowned for their strategic brilliance and for ability which exceeded even the average Captain. There was no way to diminish those guards.

Eventually, Asmokon too would be led to a cell, and given the same directives as Douma and Darnell. His cell, however, had a notable difference, likely from the influence of Sozen Kuchiki. If he investigated his cell just a bit, he would find a single loose area of the wall, which technically did not even have tiles and had been built smooth. But, still, there was an area which had a single tile that could be pulled out. And inside was a key. A key to his handcuffs, meaning that, if he really needed to, he could utilize his powers. But, he should save this for when he needed it. For now, it might be best to go along with pretending to lack his powers due to the cuffs.

Otherwise, in the blackness of his cell, which possessed no light, same as all the others, Asmokon would have to wait until recess time. He had been informed by Sozen that this wasn't even the worst level of the prison. Some levels never received recess or food and were instead fed through tubes hooked to their bodies. These people were chained to the cells themselves, and left to rot in blackness forever. Sentences which could hit over 20,000 years. In fact, Asmokon's employer in the human world, Satsujun, had himself once been a prisoner of this sort in the very lowest levels of this prison. How he had escaped was not a well known story.

I am really on a Naruto binge today

Even lower in the prison, there was a completely different event taking place. Centuries ago, there were Five Great Noble Families. The Kuchikis, the Shihoin, the Shiba, the Kasumi'Ojis, and the Kawadas. But we all know in history that there weren't five for long. Inevitably there would come to be "The age of fractured nobility." The days when nearly all of the noble families would be disgraced and where many of them would even fall from grace. That was the kind of political backdrop hundreds of years ago. It began with the ascension of the Kawada family. They were the newest, relatively speaking.

They had existed for a while, but only with the rise of their new training programs did they suddenly become a powerhouse. The Kuchikis had always been the most powerful, and none of the families could contest that. And trailing behind them, in terms of pure military might, the Shihoin had been second. Now, however, they had a rival in the form of the Kawadas. The Kawada family was growing quickly. Too quickly. And they were incredibly powerful. It took less than a decade for their military might to be considered on par with the Shihoin family's, with no end to their growth in sight for the near future.

There was fear breeding within the Shihoin council at the time. Among the elders. What if the Kawada family tried to dominate them? To absorb them and their territories? It wasn't unheard of for families to do this. The Shihoin themselves had once risen thousands of years ago from absorbing other families of similar might. But, the council did not want to do anything drastic. War would not go well for them. It would have far more dire consequences than just a win or lose versus the Kawadas. That wasn't how one Hiroshi Shihoin saw it. He saw it as a kill or be killed. If the Shihoin were in danger of losing their influence, it was unacceptable.

Hiroshi Shihoin was the man who revolted against all of Soul Society, and tried to conquer all of the families at once. With over half of the Shihoin forces on his side, he rose up against the Kawadas, Kuchikis, and more. Fresh after a failed Kasumi'Oji revolt, Hiroshi felt his chances were good. ...But he was wrong. He had underestimated the might of Jinbei Kawada and of Ginrei Kuchiki, and these families overwhelmingly obliterated the Shihoin revolt. All who had participated were slaughtered, the Shihoin lands were taken into Kawada custody along with rights to the famed Omnitsukido, and Hiroshi Shihoin, the sole survivor, was put in prison with a sentence of 15,000 years.

...Fastforward several centuries, and Hiroshi still lived in the prison. And when visited by the one who would become the Head long after the failed revolt, Okami, Hiroshi would interact with another person for the first time in centuries. "Okami..." he would say, then. In the pitch blackness, and behind the cell door, Hiroshi could not be seen. "It's been a long... Long time... I never thought that you, my hated rival, would be the first person I talked to since imprisonment. Matter of fact, I thought you were dead." Hiroshi's voice was dry, and cracked. It was soft, barely audible. A mere whisper of what it once had been. No longer strong and proud. Only tortured and savage.

"You know, it's hard to maintain your sanity here. I haven't spoken a word out loud in years. I haven't spoken to anyone since I came here. If you'd come any number of years later, I probably would have forgotten how..." The guards that had allowed Okami to visit Hiroshi now opened up the door, allowing the Captain of Omnitsukido to walk into the dank prison room and see for himself what had become of Hiroshi Kawada. It was pitch black inside, but the opening of the door allowed small fragments of candle light to bleed in. Likely the first light Hiroshi had seen in centuries. Perhaps even blinding to him because of this.

The room was colder than on the outside. There was a rattling sound like chains. And at last, with light looming just a crack over him, he leaned forward as his chains moved with him. What once had been a beautiful tan was now a sunken gray, and eyes that once had been elegant emperor purple were now black and sightless. He was skinny, malnourished. Tubes were present protruding into his back and his neck. And he leaned forward, still, grinning at Okami as he came into view in the light that Hiroshi Shihoin could no longer see. "You left me here all this time..." he told Okami. "But it's still good to see you."

[✠Asmoskon Masurao✠]

Asmoskon had been captured through the efforts of Soul Society while he had been bringing in a bag of drugs in secret. Asmoskon never had much of a personal matter in the actual mission even though he had been sent to do so by Xcutions leader Satsujun. That wasn't the only thing that Asmoskon had been asked to do however, Whether he had been successful in bringing the drugs to this prison and delivering them like intentionally ordered wasn't the upmost reason that he had been sent on this mission. For one reason or another Satsujun had instructed Asmoskon to be captured and had given him knowledge that he would be taken here and held prisoner. Asmoskon was meant to experience such a thing for the time being. Asmoskon was confident that his connections to the Kuchiki would allow him to undertake such actions and still eventually gain his freedom.

It had been a few minutes since Asmoskon was placed into his cell. When he had been being brought down here it was obvious that he was considered someone at the moment not allowed to get away even having the slightest of a chance wasn't going to be allowed. He had been escorted by two captains a handful of other Shinigami and Souza. While the elevator had been moving downwards Asmoskon played with the thought of releasing immediately with Vergeltung just to see if the Captains would be able to survive. Asmoskon wasn't here to length the time in the prison though nor place Sozen's son in danger so that thought was quickly expunged.

Now sitting on the prison bed in his cell Asmoskon was confident due to the fact that he couldn't hear anyone that he would be able to start executing what Sozen had asked of him. Standing up from the bed Asmoskon made his way over to the walls of his cell and began to feel them looking for the one location that Sozen had spoken off briefly. It only took about three minutes to find it and when he did it was easy enough to pulled the section off and grab ahold of the key. Asmoskon quickly put the section of the wall back and then did something that most others would find incredible strange. He pulled his eye patch off and hid the key within his hollowed out eye socket. The chances of someone actually looking inside of there were next to zero just due to the fact that everyone thought it was nasty to even have a missing eye.

Walking back over to his bed Asmoskon laid down for the time being knowing that while he could take off the cuffs now it was best not too. He had to wait for the time being and he was fine with that or so he thought. Now that he had nothing to do his mind began to wander and it only took a minute for him to realize that he deserved to be in this prison far more then he was accepting. He had killed hundreds of people some even younger then himself all for his own self proclaimed justice and honor. Dozens of Quincy younger then himself or even his own age had been killed by him while he had been swallowed up by despair. Sitting in the darkness was more fitting then ever being allowed out in the daylight again he realized with a sorrowful frown.

"Eyo, so, do you really have that much fun in your hometown?"

Step, step, step, step.

This silence thing was hard. What options did Douma have if he couldn’t talk? He could either act as Douma, the underworld agent, and try to physically get some revenge on Darnell for constantly reminding him who he looked like: Psy from Gangnam Style. After all, Darnell seemed like a tough cracker. He was strong, and a fight between him and Douma would definitely be entertaining.

But there was a part of Kagami, just a silver, that somehow survived the dark flames his soul currently resides in. And that one part wanted to respond differently. After all, he was motherfucking Psy! He could do anything he wanted. If one of his escorts was a female Shinigami, guess what an easy line would be? ‘Hey sexy ladie ’ He could do the dance while chanting ‘OP OP OP OP, OPA GANGNAM STYLE’ alongside Darnell. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity to have some fun and make light of a bad situation. After all, that’s what Kagami was all about.

But even after the food’s gone, the crumbs remain. They’re not useful for much and usually just sit there and spectate until they’re whisked away and disposed of. That’s all Kagami is now: a few crumbs scattered here and there. The rest is all Douma, who’s not nearly as fun but far more driven and ambitious. Far more dangerous to the world and to himself.

The guards ushered Darnell into his own cell, where he would sit all alone. "WUT, BUT OG LUSH IS A FUCKIN' MUSE, YO! YOU GOTTA LET ME BUNK WIT MAH NIGGA! C'MONNNNN!!!!" To some degree, Douma would prefer Darnell’s entertainment and company, but it would be easier to focus on the mission at hand. After all, Souza wouldn’t be easy to cross. Not in this situation, at least, so Douma didn’t have any choice but to listen to him.

Douma was taken to his own cell and locked up nice and tight. The cell wasn’t very comfortable and homey. It just had a bed, a bench, and place to do your ‘business.’ However, that didn’t matter. After all, he had no plans to stay in that prison for long, and if the Kuchiki was true to his word, he’d be out before too much time had passed. Until then, might as well start coming up with a list of guidelines to ensure that he stayed out of trouble and focussed on the task at hand.

Asmokon's cell door would eventually open. When? In reality, a little over a day. But it must have felt like a long time. When you have no way of entertaining yourself, and no way of telling time, it becomes easy to lose track of how long you're in there. Asmokon might likely have felt as if he was there for days. They also did not give him food or water at the time, so at this point, hunger and thirst would be gnawing on him. But, they weren't letting him out to eat. They were letting him out so that he could have his recreation. Considering the dark place into which he had been put, it was strange that he was to have recreation.

His recreation was also separate from Douma or Darnell, so he would have to find a way to change things up. It was noticed that he was separate by when he actually went to recreation. Oh, recreation? In reality, just a room fashioned from Seki Seki walls all around. It wasn't a big room. To move across, it was only about ten yards. There were many other prisoners inside of the room with Asmokon. Some of them had the deepest of bags under their eyes. Some had completely blank expressions. They had likely been in prison for a long time. Supposedly, this place was impossible to escape.

There were rumors that in the Senzaikyu Prison System, monsters were housed whom it would be extremely difficult and inefficient to kill. It was said that their personalities were broken down into nothing, ground into less than an iota of what it had been before. And then, before they left, it was said their powers were stripped from them and harnessed for Seireitei's technological consumption. No one could say for sure if any of these rumors were true, but it was one scary story. At least, it must be true that people's wills broke in this prison. One need only look at the people in recreation with Asmokon.

Oh, recreation? In reality, not free will. Just exercise for them. All they did was walk back and forth from blank white wall to blank white wall for fifteen minutes, and then go back to their cells. It didn't matter how good of a warrior any of them was. How dangerous. How exceptional. Creatures perhaps on par with Captains, perhaps greater than any of the Captains, rested in this prison. And they were still broken. Because after enough time had passed of this dreary routine, they would break. No one could keep their will when stuck within this prison. One day? No problem. But years? Decades? Centuries? Nothing could keep them from dissolving inside.

Asmokon was in one of these such line-ups. Walking back and forth in a room of about twenty people, in his little linear pathway. Back and forth. From wall to wall. If he stopped, as one of the others tried to do at the beginning, he received a horrible jolt of electricity, and somehow it was the most painful thing he had ever experienced, as if they had heightened the feeling of pain for those in the room somehow. All he could do was walk. Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. But, he also had someone next to him whom he might recognize. Someone whom he really would recognize, in fact.

A boy, younger than he was, but now older than when Asmokon had last seen him. A boy who now was beginning to develop stubble on his face, but by all accounts was as of yet not quite a man. A boy that had been a Quincy. A boy that had been a Soldat. A boy whom Asmokon had supposedly killed. Why was this boy still alive...? Better yet, how had he wound up in this prison? His gaze wasn't empty. He hadn't been here long enough to break yet. And he gave no sign that he recognized Asmokon. He didn't even acknowledge the Quincy next to him. Yet, this boy was the one walking next to Asmokon as they went back and forth from wall to wall.

Back and forth. Back and forth. If Asmokon struck up conversation, there might be something to learn. However, it was worth noting that no one else was talking for some reason. And, if he chose not to strike up conversation, then it would just be back to his cell anyway. And his goal was to accomplish that mission for Sozen, so it might be best for him to learn something or two. At least gather some kind of intel. This didn't mean necessarily talk to the boy, but it did mean do something other than remain rotting in that cell. What Asmokon did next was up to him, but... That boy would be next to him whatever he chose.

Meanwhile, the mercenary named Douma was also in his cell. Except he was not let out, and he received no food either. A whole day passed and still they did not come to get him. Were they trying to break him? He had been put on a lower level than others that had gone with them. Darnell had been put on a higher level than him, too. Did they consider Douma more dangerous? Or was it necessary for him to be on this level for the mission that Souza Kuchiki had put him on? Actually, though, he wouldn't just rot in that cell. He may not get a recreation yet, but he would sense something stirring in his mind.

A voice. And not just any voice. A voice that he recognized. A voice that he knew all too well, even though he had encountered its owner only once before. The voice of Saeki Kuchiki. Kagami Murai? It's been a while, hasn't it? Yes, unmistakable. It was Saeki's voice inside of his mind. Was he going crazy? Or could she really communicate? He had nothing better to do other than talk to it. But if he was going crazy, it would be unwise to humor it. There was nothing saying that he had to talk to the voice. He could just sit silently and ignore it. But, even if he did, it kept talking.

It really is you. I didn't think I'd see you in my prison. Welcome. Wait, how could she communicate? The fact that she was imprisoned as she was should negate that. Kagami had seen it. He had seen the restraints on Saeki Kuchiki. All of her powers should be reduced. They had put her in a huge isolated containment, with all sorts of gizmos and technology, so that she could do nothing and be totally neutralized. She literally hadn't left since they put her there. Not even to go to the bathroom. She was fed through tubes, not even actual food. No one dared interact with her. So how was she able to communicate?

Hm... That is quite unfortunate about Manami. Who would have thought that she was such a slut? From your memories, I would never have guessed she'd spend the rest of her life fucking a Hollow. There was some sort of slur to Saeki's words in Kagami's mind. Something snake-like. Maybe it had to do with the method she was using to communicate with him. Maybe it was just that she was sinister. Maybe it was just that he was going crazy. But no matter how crazy he got, Saeki's voice wasn't going to stop. If he didn't engage it, it would just keep talking anyway. So maybe he should talk. Or not. Maybe he could ignore it. Then she said one more thing.

[Ōkami Shihoin]

The Shihoin Head stood proudly, confidently before that prison cell. His golden maize eyes, normally hidden behind tinted glasses, gazed into the darkness of the cell. His eyes peered into the darkness to get a glimpse at the one who had betrayed the Shihoin family and plunged it into shame. He stared into that endless blackness to gaze upon the traitor, Hiroshi Shihoin, a man that had been brother to his father and therefore his uncle. He listened to his uncle’s soft, barely audible voice as it called out to him. After so many years, his uncle still regarded him as a rival to Headship. Had that been the reason he had treated him so poorly when he was young? The Shihoin regarded his uncle with a cold, unmoving and unsympathetic look. He gazed upon the traitor known as Hiroshi Shihoin with no emotion, despite feeling only contempt and anger within.

”Was it really worth it?” Ōkami Shihoin asked the traitor, breaking the silence which had fallen over the two after Hiroshi had finished speaking. ”Was all of it worth being here now…?”

Standing before his uncle, Tetsuo Shihoin, the 24th Shihoin Head had come for answers. He had finally felt like he was ready to talk about that day. That day when his world had been shattered. He had hoped that coming back would have given him reprieve from the trauma of that land of endless night. He had hoped to see their smiling faces once more upon his return. But, things hadn’t turned out like that. Things hadn’t gone the way that he had wanted. And his world had been shattered as a result. Coming home to both of his parents dead, how could one recover from that? And yet, he had. Somehow, he had found the will to live once more. He had found the will to live and had accepted the mantle passed on to him by his father. But, he had never talked about what had happened to them during his time in that Hell. He had never asked his uncle, Tetsuo Shihoin, what had happened to his parents. Today was that day.

As he arrived in the large private study, Tetsuo Shihoin stood and greeted his nephew. The man smiled confidently then, and his perfect white teeth could be seen. ”Greetings, Ōkami.” Tetsuo said as he stood. He placed the book he was reading down and focused solely on his nephew now. The smile he had upon seeing Ōkami faded and was replaced by a look of seriousness, a look of business. There was no way he could smile about the subject they were soon to engage in. ”Are you sure you’re ready to have this conversation?” he asked his nephew. For a moment, Ōkami tensed and clenched his fist. He froze in that moment to consider if he was truly ready to face this conversation. He hesitated for only a moment before responding, ”I’m ready. Tell me about what happened to them.” Ōkami closed the door and walked in further.

Tetsuo motioned towards the chair seated cross from him, in which Ōkami proceeded to sit himself down in. ”A lot happened while you were gone,” Tetsuo began. ”Well then, tell me the important parts. I believe you’ve already filled me in on everything but that…” the Shihoin Head said tersely, cutting off his uncle. Tetsuo looked down for a brief moment before looking back up at his nephew. ”Brace yourself, Ōkami. What I’m about to tell you will open up old wounds. Wounds you’ve healed from already.” Tetsuo said to his nephew in a soft voice. From the look on his face, he didn’t want to bring up this subject. He didn’t want to talk about what had happened to his brother and sister-in-law. ”I’m ready…” Ōkami said again, this time with less patience in his voice. And so, Tetsuo took a deep breath then and began recounting to Ōkami what had happened to his parents.

”It had been after you disappeared. Your father, Jiro, had been at a loss for words. He seemed to have broken upon losing you. You were his everything. After all, you had been the only child he and Ayame had been able to produce. He became a changed man after your disappearance and he tried to do everything he could to find you. He didn’t believe the reports that you had died. He pestered Squad 12 so much to try and develop a way to find you. But, the technology hadn’t existed then. Squad 12 hadn’t yet come up with the technology to enter Hueco Mundo, where Benkei-taichou told us you had been taken to. He did his duties as Head and as Captain of both the Ōnmitsukido and Squad 2, but everyone could tell that he had changed.” Tetsuo stopped there, taking another deep breath. His light gold eyes stared into the maize golden eyes hidden behind those tinted goggles. There was a look of sadness on his face as he continued with the story.

”The council started to worry. They felt like he was turning your disappearance into an obsession. But, who could blame him? Your uncle, Hiroshi, felt the same as the council. He was so adamant about your father stepping down. He felt as if Jiro’s obsession would hinder the growth of the Shihoin. He felt as if the Kawada would soon overpower the Shihoin if your father continued as Head in his condition. He kept trying to persuade Ayame to talk to your father, and get him to step down so that he could become Head himself. He said that’s what the council wanted. But, Ayame wouldn’t budge. And Jiro, he felt as though if he lost his position as Head, he would have no more power to find you. And so, I think that was when things got out of hand.” ”What do you mean, ‘Got out of hand’?” Ōkami asked incredulously. ”Sometime later, we found your father in his room….in a…pool of his own blood. Everyone thought it was suicide because of what he had gone through, but not Ayame. She was certain that it had been Hiroshi’s doing, but the council wouldn’t listen to her.” Tetsuo looked down at that moment, not wanting to look Ōkami in the eye. He knew what the next question would be.

Ōkami Shihoin stared at his uncle. He felt so many emotions within, but yet he revealed none of them on his face. Inside, he was angry, sad, confused. He felt so many things at that moment. ”So then…what do you think, uncle?” he asked in a monotone voice. Tetsuo, fearing the question since he had first opened his mouth about how his brother had died, stared at the ground. ”Hiroshi was always so ambitious, even when we were younger. He could be ruthless at times too. Jiro and I knew that he had always wished he had been born first. We could sense it in how Hiroshi treated Jiro…and in how he treated you.” Tetsuo looked up at Ōkami upon mentioning him. When he did, he noticed the surprised look on Ōkami’s face, an emotion he had let slip out.

Incredulously, Ōkami asked what he already knew his uncle was thinking. ”So you think Hiroshi did do it? You think he killed my father so that he could become Head and start a war?” Tetsuo didn’t answer. He only stared at Ōkami with a look of sadness on his face. He breathed in again, knowing that what he was about to say might even sever his relationship with his nephew. ”You can ask him yourself.” he said softly. And that was when the Shihoin Head’s eyes widened in shock and his mouth hung open. The traitor that had sunk the family into shame…had lived. The traitor that had destroyed his family’s reputation, that had possibly killed his father, hadn’t been killed himself. The shock disappeared as soon as it had appeared and Ōkami calmed himself, before asking one last question through gritted teeth, ”Where is he now? Did he escape?” Tetsuo shook his head in response. ”He’s in the Senzaikyu, in the lower levels. He was sentenced to 15,000 years there.”

Ōkami stood up at once, anger flowing within him. What looked like sparks of blue lightning began forming around him and shrieking like one thousand birds. The Shihoin Head was angry, something that not many got to see often, especially his family. ”Then I need to pay him a visit…” he said as he began to walk off. Tetsuo stood up at that moment, in an attempt to calm his nephew down. ”Wait, Ōkami! Don’t go there by yourself. Ōkami, wait!” Tetsuo called out. It was no use, the Shihoin Head stormed off. Ōkami stormed off to confront the traitor named Hiroshi Shihoin.

Cold eyes gazed from behind the tinted goggles upon the one who had once called himself a Shihoin. Cold eyes gazed upon the emaciated figure of the one he had once called his uncle, the traitor Hiroshi Shihoin. No more did he have the once beautiful tan skin. No more did he have the elegant emperor purple eyes. Now, he was skinny, malnourished, and in bad shape. ”I can’t say I was prepared for this meeting. Until a few hours ago, I had believed you had died in your attack on Soul Society. At least, that’s what they told me after I returned from Hueco Mundo….” he said, letting his emotions spill out into his words that time. Normally, he was able to hide them. But for some reason, standing now in front of the traitor he had believed to be dead, made things different. ”So uncle,” he began, spitting the word as if it was venom. ”Was pursuing the Kawada really worth ending up in this place?” And with that, silence once more fell over the two of them. A silence full of so much tension cast itself over the two as Ōkami Shihoin awaited Hiroshi’s answer.

Steve Lee…just who exactly are you and who do you work for?

Steve Lee had been the man who met him in the Senzaikyu prison. Steve Lee was the man who the drugs were supposed to be delivered to, but he was not the one who was supposed to receive those drugs. From what he had explained about what the drugs did, they hadn’t been meant for Steve Lee himself. They were to be given to someone else, someone more powerful than Steve. It was probably the one whom Steve talked about serving. Maybe Petrov served the same person, given that he was also on the operation that day. It was more than coincidence that he had faced Sozen knowing he wasn’t yet powerful enough and got himself captured. Petrov was strong, this was certain. No other Bount had reached the pinnacle of power that Kassen Oro had before he disappeared. For someone like Sozen to defeat Kassen Oro meant that he was even more powerful. Petrov had gone into that operation knowing that he would be captured, that was the only explanation.

After delivering the pills, Jin had been told to wait for a signal. He wouldn’t know what it was until he received it. And finally, after waiting around for days, he had received some kind of coded message while he was undertaking an assassination mission on some underworld scum as Anarchy. One of the men he had been hired to kill pleaded for his life. When he had been asked what he would give in return for his life, he had replied with only one word, information. Curiosity had gotten the best of Jin in that moment, and so he gave the man a chance. He had been told that the one who he was waiting on requested a meeting with him. After reading the man’s mind to make sure he was telling the truth, Jin let him go and began working on a plan to get inside the Senzaikyu to see the man named Steve Lee. After all, after escaping Soul Society, getting back in would be even more difficult.

So, his only option had been to ambush a Shinigami. He had been able to draw one in during a mission he had to assassinate a target. The Shinigami had wandered in, trying to find out what was going on and why there was such powerful reiatsu being released in the area. When he had arrived, Anarchy had taken care of him and brainwashed him to serve his every command. The Shinigami had been some low ranking seat in Squad 1. Jin had the Shinigami open the gate to the Soul Society for him and brought along only one of his Bount, Gatz Mumei. He hid in the Shinigami’s shadow while Gatz was brought along as a prisoner. The plan was simple: Gatz would disguise himself as Don, known by Soul Society to be Jin’s former right-hand man. Jin meanwhile would disguise himself as the Shinigami and infiltrate the Senzaikyu using Don as a prisoner. Disguising themselves wasn’t too difficult, not with Gatz’s simulation abilities. They could even simulate Seki Seki handcuffs, so that Gatz could keep his powers.

When the three made it into the Soul Society, Gatz ordered the Shinigami into an abandoned building. There, Jin emerged from the shadow of the unseated Shinigami and took his clothes. Over the Shinigami’s clothing, he wore the reiatsu concealing cloak Gatz had made for him. The cloak had a special property that made it different from normal reiatsu concealing cloaks, actually. Gatz designed it using the Quincy ability to collect reishi in mind. The cloak could absorb the reiatsu of other races Jin interacted with and then reflect this reiatsu back to anyone who tried to sense him. The reiatsu he had recently collected belonged to the Shinigami that had escorted him in. So, anyone that tried to sense him would only sense the reiatsu of a Shinigami, specifically this Shiro Tetsuya’s reiatsu. That had been the name he had given them when he had been under Verteiten’s influence. Shiro Tetsuya, unseated Shinigami of Squad 1.

”You remember the plan, right?” Jin asked his companion, Gatz Mumei. The mad Bount scientists shook his head and smiled widely, relishing in this chance to see Shinigami in their habitat. He might even be able to experiment on Shiro later if things went as planned. For now, Gatz had to focus. ”Of course shishishishishi…” he said while nodding. Jin reached up and grabbed at the white mask which covered his face and then slipped it off, revealing his true face. He slipped the mask into the pockets of the robe and then nodded towards Gatz. ”You can put up the simulation now. I’ll escort you towards the Senzaikyu. I still remember it’s location from last time.” he said tersely. Then, he turned to the Shinigami, Shiro Tetsuya. ”Stay here and try to remain hidden. If anyone finds you, take them out. And don’t reveal who you are. Or that we’re here.” Jin commanded. The Shinigami nodded in agreement, being unable to choose otherwise. Under Verteiten’s influence, he was Jin’s slave. This was the power of Verteiten.

After that, Gatz activated his power and just like that, Jin’s face and appearance suddenly changed. No longer was he wearing Anarchy’s cloak, instead he was wearing a Shinigami’s uniform. His face was no longer tanned with scars on the right side, instead it was pale and his hair went from black and curly to red, spiky, and disheveled. His eyes changed from brown to a piercing black. ”My turn, my turn!” Gatz exclaimed with utter excitement painted onto his crazed face. His pale skin turned tanned and his greenish-yellow eyes became light brown. He grew muscled and his shoulders grew broad. Then his lab coat and clothing were replaced with Don’s own clothing: a tight red shirt underneath an unzipped black jacket with a red collar, black jeans and black combat boots, and red fingerless gloves to match the shirt. His hands were then bound together by what looked like Seki Seki handcuffs connected to a chain which Jin held.

”Good job, Gatz. Now, let’s go see Steve Lee.” the Bount Leader said before strolling confidently out of the door of that building with Gatz following behind. As he stepped out, he quickly suppressed his reiatsu so that it was almost as if he had none at all. He let the cloak instead give off reiatsu so that his didn’t overpower the reiastu it had stored. Gatz stepped out with him and the two made their way forward, heading in the direction of the Senzaikyu.

Item Description: At first, this appears very similar to JJY006. Simple yoyo held together by a 5 meter long steel string. Unlike its predecessor, however, its color is black with a red button on both disks. When these buttons are pressed, the yoyo enlarges to become two giant two feet wide, one inch tall black circular disks. It looks nothing like the yoyo it once was. With a twitch of the string, blades can also pop out along the two thick disks. With a second twitch of the finger, the two disks can split apart for separate attack, connected together by a hidden steel wire between the disks. Item Description: After studying the Quincy ability to draw in spiritual particles, Gatz was able to design this cloak for Anarchy. The cloak itself reaches down past the knees and is completely black with a hood attached to the back. What makes it special is the property it has. When around someone of a different race, the cloak will draw in the ambient reiatsu of the individual giving off any form of reiatsu and cloak the user in this reiatsu so that the reiatsu signature given off by the user becomes that of the individual giving off reiatsu. If no reiatsu is being given off, the cloak can instead use the stored reiatsu from a previous encounter. While the cloak is active, the user should suppress their own reiatsu or the cloak will not function properly. When it comes to using techniques, only general reiatsu techniques can be used; the reiatsu of a race specific release will overpower the cloak's own reiatsu signature. Only those with an energy sensory of more than 200 can detect the actual reiatsu signature of the user.

Item Description: A featureless white mask with only eye holes for the user to see through. The mask itself is made of a durable titanium alloy which is quite strong while remaining light-weight. When exposed to high levels of heat, the titanium alloy retains its strength and does not deteriorate. The only other feature on the mask is a large red 'A' within a red circle. This covers the majority of the mask, centering at the forehead. The bottom part of the 'A' is broken up by the eyeholes and continues underneath them, where it joins the red circle outlining the entire letter. Item Name: Wire Launcher Gauntlet

Item Description: The wire launcher gauntlet is a piece of equipment for Jin Yamada. It is a metal silver plated arm brace with the Bount symbol etched onto the side facing away from it's wearer when worn. On the side facing towards the wearer, there is a small circular hole, half an inch in diameter, near the wrist area. A brown leather attachment extends from the wrist up to the wearer's middle and ring fingers, wrapping around them. Inside of the gauntlet, 150 feet of steel wire is spooled 75 times around a thin circular disk on the underside. Release of the wire revolves around a complicated launching mechanism activated by varying movements of Jin's middle and ring fingers. The wire ends in a barbed hook, which is designed to connect to the loop on the end of Jin's yoyo. The launcher fires things with 300 strength.

Item Name: Propulsion Boots

Item Type: Locomotion Item/Weapon

Item Description: These boots were modeled after the gloves Jin once had during the time when C-weapons were around. The boots, however, are much more upgraded and cooler looking than the gloves were. Overall, they look like light armor for his feet. They're black and shiny all over and tall, reaching just below the knee. They're made of some kind of light metal that avoids overheating. There are straps at the top in the front and back to lock the leg in once it's in there snugly. At the sole, there are vents built into five separate locations. There are vents in the front ball of the boot, on both sides, in the back of the heel, and in the center of the foot. Gatz designed the boots in a way so that it absorbs heat from Hitze or the surroundings and uses that to power itself, which prevents any type of reliance on electrical battery power.

The cool thing about the boots is that with a tap of his foot in a certain spot, Jin can release the heat building up in the boots from one of the five vents as bursts of flames which are backed up by his reiatsu strength. The concentrated bursts of flames that the boot releases propels him at twice his speed as a result of concentration and force. When he's using the flames for attack rather than propulsion, the flames shoot out of all five vents to form a burst of flames the size of a Cero! Normally when moving around, the flames only shoot out of the middle vent, which is largest, while the vents on the four sides only allow for change in direction.

Hiroshi Shihoin wasn't necessarily wrong. Though now conquered, rattling around in rusting chains, and starved beyond comprehension, Hiroshi Shihoin hadn't truly been wrong. In time the Kawadas had come to dominate the Shihoin. Even when the Kawadas themselves fell from grace, still, they had taken land from the Shihoin. And the Omnitsukido. If not for the work of Sozen Kuchiki, it likely would have taken a war to reclaim both of these. If only by virtue of the fact that the Kawada family understood it was no match for the Kuchikis, then there would have been no return of what was rightfully Okami's heritage.

"Worth it...?" Hiroshi asked. "You truly don't get it, do you? You all live in a world of... excess. Excess love. Excess food. Excess peace." Those weren't really Hiroshi's words. The way he said them, they seemed parroted. As if someone else had taught them to him. But he was a changed man, now. Hiroshi had once been far more charismatic and loud voiced than he was now. That's what hundreds of years of starvation and imprisonment will do to you. Hiroshi probably couldn't even see anymore. He was probably blind, and he would probably never be able to move his body again once he was released from the prison.

That was the mission of the Senzaikyu Underground Prison. Those trapped by it? They were broken down into nothing. They were completely broken until nothing was left of their malicious intent. That was if they weren't sentenced to die. In a way, dying was more merciful than being sent to this horrible prison. That was why it existed as a punishment. Instead of executing people, they would be put here, and they would suffer. And everyone fears suffering. Especially prolonged suffering, over thousands of years. Most likely, they would go to Hell when they died, too. There was nothing to look forward to.

"Okami... You can't protect the Shihoin Family." Okami's vision would begin to swim, and dizziness would overtake him. His depth perception was starting to fail. Even imprisoned, could Hiroshi use his passive abilities to subjugate Okami? In Okami's mind, he would hear echoes of something... Something Hiroshi had once also said to Jiro. A conversation Okami had never heard before, but somehow gained access to. Jiro... You can't protect the Shihoin Family. You're a broken leader, with a broken woman, and no Heir. You don't even have the courage to try to make a new one. Hell, you don't even have the courage to stop the Kawadas from burying us.

Okami would feel horribly sick from being near Hiroshi. This was definitely the ability of Okami's uncle. He was powerful, and even in prison he could do some pretty crazy damage to people. That was probably why people never went into his cell, and why he was never truly fed. He got little bowls of stew through opening bars for a reason. Because no one wanted to enter his cell. "If you hadn't disappeared, and you had become Head, Jinbei Kawada would have steamrolled us. And Ginrei Kuchiki would have just watched." Hiroshi was starting to regain his voice, though it was still hardly a whisper. And, his voice echoed more in Okami's mind. A conversation with Jiro.

Me, I can protect us. I can defeat Jinbei and Kochikochi. I can stand up to Ginrei. I can make your woman FEEL and LOVE again. I can conceive, and ensure we have an HEIR. You know why? Because I'm better for the Shihoin than you, Jiro. Because I'm a better man than you, Jiro. The feeling that Okami would suddenly be filled by was... Shock? He probably knew what Hiroshi had done. But to suddenly sense the moment when Hiroshi had succeeded in stabbing Jiro in the heart and taken the Head's life? To suddenly sense that it was all true? That was something else entirely. And now, Okami had confirmation.

Jin arriving at Steve Lee's cell would give him a surprise. Steve Lee's guards were unconscious, but he was still in his cell, reading a book. There wasn't a care in the world on his face. There were no worries in his aura. It was as if he just expected that things were going to work out. Well, of course, his plan from before really had worked out. The pills had probably made it to their destination. Who had he been trying to send them to? As Jin arrived to meet Steve Lee, the Mod Soul yawned. His reiatsu started to flex, even though he wore cuffs which should seal them.

"Have you been thinking of my proposal?" he asked.

Asmoskon sat in his cell either laying in the bed and actually managing after awhile to drift off into sleep or sitting somewhere in the cell. For the moment all he could do was wait until an opportunity presented itself and he could act upon it. Right now Asmoskon could get out of his cuffs if he wanted to and just start entertain himself with his reiatsu yet that would more then likely alert some type of security operative. So for the time being that was all he could do just wait and try to figure out what he could do to pass time.

When the security patrol actually got to his room and unlocked the cell. Asmoskon did what he was told knowing that if he tried anything they would more then likely somehow find out that he had already unlocked his cuffs yet was wearing them as if they were connected. So he kept moving and came to the recreation area. Asmoskon had known that such a thing was odd for prisoners that were put in this type of security so when he saw that it was just a small room he wasn't surprised. Now walking back and forth from one side of the room to the next was starting to get irritating yet Asmoskon knew that he had a role to play in this situation and that patience was the best ally he could keep.

So now here he was walking back and forth in the white room in a line with other inmates. Asmoskon gathered up the appearances of the others in the room quickly even with only especially for an individual with only a single eye. There was one thing that Asmoskon had caught sight of when he entered the room that he may now be able to act upon. There was a single individual inside of this room that he recognized from a prior event. Asmoskon at first thought that he was just seeing a similar individual and his mind was subconsciously linking them both.

Now as the boy walked beside him though Asmoskon was sure that he was the same entity. Asmoskon was surprised that he was alive since the last time he had seen him there was an arrow in his chest. He couldn't really understand why the boy was in this prison yet that had nothing to do with him. Asmoskon was here for one sole reason and that wasn't to question why this Vandenreich had been able to survive. The only thing that Asmoskon wished to do right now was correct his mistake and more forward with the plan.

Suddenly while everyone continued to walk the boy that was besides Asmoskon dropped forward to the ground along with two other individuals one a few people down and another individual that was a space away from Asmoskon. All three of them suddenly were on their knees with their foreheads pushed to the ground as electrocuted all of them. Whether they felt the incredible pain or not it didn't matter Asmoskon was focusing on all of them and using his reiatsu to push down on all of them. Kyōsei sa Remasu was one thing out of many that made Asmoskon unique and right now it was through his mastery of the technique that he formed the invisible hands on the necks of all three suffering prisoners.

His cuffs were unlocked so he had full control of his reiatsu and the only way that anyone would be able to tell such a thing was if one of the guards could sense his reiatsu. There was no way to tell he was doing anything to any of them due to the fact that Asmoskon like everyone else at first had stopped and received a shock. He was doing everything he could think of at the moment to make it look like he wasn't the cause and now as he started to walk forward he kept his focus on all three of them. Even if it was only a few moments they would all be experiencing far more pain then ever before. Asmoskon finally decided it was enough after he heard the sound of the rapid beating hearts all stop at once from the unimaginable pain.

He would then immediately click the cuffs back sealing off his usage of reiatsu for the time being just in case one of the guards had sensed him. Now they would doubt themselves believing that they had been mistaken and accept it and be left with an un-example able reason for why all three of these prisoners had just died. They wouldn't suspect Asmoskon on anymore then anyone else honestly he was a Quincy. A race known for utilize weaponry from a distance not one that possessed any type of ability like the Kyōsei sa Remasu which is why there was nearly no way for him to be accused.

After all of this went down Asmoskon would wait until he was able to get into his cell once again. After that he went to sleep for a few hours. It wasn't really a normal thing for him to dream yet for some reason in this prison nightmares just kept occurring. Not even the norm yet much darker and he knew why. All he kept dreaming of was a barren land plagued by flames and the screams of the departed. Asmoskon knew this was his eventual destination and he had accepted it so why was he scared? He had to come to the conclusion at a later point though as he awoke and uncuffed himself. He then proceeded to unlock the cell door and make his way throughout the halls moving as quietly as he could.

Asmokon was lucky for two major reasons. None of the guards noticed. Or perhaps they did, and didn't care. But either way, they did nothing about it, which was strongly to Asmokon's benefit. That was the first. The guards weren't pushovers, to be here with these monsters. Not to mention that in the middle of this prison, even with his powers, he would probably be easily subdued. There was no way that it would be easy to do anything here, given no one had ever escaped. Also, the prisoners he took out went down quietly. Matter of fact, this was a prison for horrible monsters. What he had tried could have been very, very bad. They could have been leagues above him, and killed him instead. That's what this prison might contain.

But, then again, if they were that powerful, would they really get a recess? More than likely, the biggest monsters wouldn't actually be allowed that recreation. They would be stuck in their cells more or less forever, until their thousands of years of sentence eventually ran out. So, at best, they would probably be just above Asmokon's level if allowed out of their cells. The true abominations, whom the Soul Society feared, would not be those that left. So, maybe it wasn't just luck. Maybe it was just coincidence. Either way, killing those three would later turn out to be a good decision on his part. Had he not, his luck would have ran out much sooner than expected.

Wandering the halls of the prison, Asmokon would need to be stealthy. Guards had regular patrols here, and in these narrow corridors, there was no telling how they might be able to counter him. Plus, there had to be others who snuck resources in or tried to escape. Not a single soul was successful at any time over many years. Something in here had to work. So, he had to be stealthy. But, he also had to figure out where the hell Darnell and Douma were, so he could follow them in secret and figure out their purposes for being here. So as Asmokon wandered, maybe he wanted to find a guard. Or he could just talk into one of the cells and see who was around.

Footsteps could be heard somewhere down the corridor. Asmokon was at a point where he had reached a stairwell which went further down, underground. This would take him to stronger, more potent criminals than those on his own floor. It was one of those stairwells also which led to another stairwell. A series of stairwells. Monstrosities. But, then again, behind him, there were footsteps. People approaching. And, judging by the footsteps, there were two of them. Two guards? Could Asmokon deal with that? Or would he rather go downward? Who was more likely to know things and have appropriate information? Well, Asmokon was about to find out some of them had SOME info.

"Did you hear?" one of the guards asked. "On sub level 9, they've brought a new free Quincy." Something interesting. "I heard about that," the second guard replied. "They're supposed to be the strongest of the free Quincy," the first said. "At least that's what I heard. Even the Masurao and Miyaki families were no match for this one back in the day." The second said, "Must be damn old, now." The voices were getting closer. If Asmokon wanted to hear more, he could, but he'd have to distance himself. Supposedly, there was another mighty free Quincy somewhere here. But, if he stayed there, he would have to face the guards. It was go down or face guards. Up to him.

Kagami Murai? It’s been a while, hasn’t it?

Kagami knew that voice. He’s heard it in too many dreams, in too many dark corners of his mind. However, when he looked up to find its source, he simply saw another man standing across the room staring right back at him. Their gaze were locked in a cold embrace for several seconds, neither man moving a muscle or changing their expression. Eventually, though, the other man’s lips curled up into a faint, cruel grin. Kagami remained emotionless and allowed the man to continue talking.

But the voice didn’t appear to come from the man. It was distinctly feminine and exceedingly arrogant. It really is you. I didn't think I'd see you in my prison. Welcome. Kagami’s jaw was clenched, a sign of his bubbling rage. He knew that voice too well. “What do you want with me? We made our deal and that was that.” He wanted nothing to do with that voice or the other man. He wanted to finish his mission and get out of the prison as quickly as possible. He still had much more to do and talking to strange men and familiar voices were a waste of his time.

Hm... That is quite unfortunate about Manami. Who would have thought that she was such a slut? From your memories, I would never have guessed she'd spend the rest of her life fucking a Hollow.

That was it. Kagami had enough of it. He began walking toward the other man, one rapid step following another. The stranger seemed to anticipate this perfectly and matched Kagami’s movements. While the former Vice Captain had a deathly serious glare in his eye, this other man was still smiling with that arrogant grin and reckless gleam in his eye. He was enjoying this. He was having fun toying with the hollow, revenge-driven monster. It was all just a game and he was winning.

But Kagami wasn’t going to let him win. The distance between them was closed rapidly and Kagami raised his handcuffed fists over his head, using the metal handcuffs as weapons to assault the other man with. But they were both still prisoners and they were both handcuffed. The other man seemed to mockingly imitate Kagami, making the same preparations for the same attack. Kagami brought his fists down with as much force as he could muster to shatter the other man’s skull. His enemy did the same. Right as there fists met, a single sound.

CRACK!!!!

Glass exploded everywhere. Several shards pierced Kagami’s fist, causing blood to stain the reflective glass as it fell. Most shards spread out on the ground and hid in dark corners of the cell. However, one large piece still clung to the wall, refusing to fall. That was all that was left of the strange man. Just one eye on the small piece of glass staring right back at the prisoner with the bloody hand.

Oh? What's this? Ha, who would have guessed? Adalo De-Mona is inside of you, too...

Douma stood above the shattered shards dotting the cell floor. He looked right at that eye, his expression more calm than before, but far more dark. He seemed like a diferent person. Before, he needed an outlet for his anger. Now it was focused. He could carry himself without letting his hate seep out. He needed every drop of it.

“What do you want from me, Saeki?”

The invasive feeling of Saeki Kuchiki in Kagami's mind couldn't be pleasant. But on the other hand, he wasn't quite Kagami anymore, was he? A twisted shell of a man had been left behind in his stead, for Kagami had been broken by the sight of his fiancee's body pushed into that of a hated enemy. Of a black-eyed devil whose only real motivation was for people like Kagami to become as this. Douma. Douma, who was born from the machinations of the spirit of revenge. And though they said that the Primera had been silenced by Sozen Kuchiki, this made no difference. Adalo De-Mona's legacy lived on. In whom? In those like Kagami Murai, who had turned himself to crime and to hatred.

Douma...? That's what you call yourself now? Fitting. That you fancy yourself an angel, though, a bit preposterous. You and I both know that you're nothing but what Adalo made you to be. Saeki seemed to ignore Douma's question at first, instead poking at him. Luckily, he was emotionally quiet. He was empty. Though filled with rage, and with hatred, at his core he was nothing. He was nothing but that rage and that hate, and he could not be taunted by the likes of Saeki's words. Yet, she poked anyway. Because that was what she did. And it was likely she'd had nothing to do with the discovery of Adalo and Manami, though she obviously had known as soon as she read Kagami's mind. But she still liked to mock it.

Hm, as to what I want... Well, I can't say that I really want anything from you. She had decided at long last to answer his question, but it wasn't really an answer. She claimed to want nothing at all. I just wanted to bother you a little. As soon as I sensed you, I thought I might have some fun with you. But it looks as if the Primera has already taken all of the fun out of you... While Kagami might have been someone who could be had fun with, Douma wasn't. And Saeki recognized that, it seemed. Except that by invading Douma's mind, she learned all that he knew. And, she learned of those most prominent in his life. His allies in the criminal world. And... she knew more about Manami now, too.

Douma...? That's what you call yourself now? Fitting. That you fancy yourself an angel, though, a bit preposterous. You and I both know that you're nothing but what Adalo made you to be. A feint smile pulled on the man’s lips lightly. “I thought you would understand, Saeki. Angels – gods – they aren’t what they were made out to be. Adalo corrupted me, but doing so was a mistake. You know that I won’t rest until I become better than he ever was or ever could have been.” Douma didn’t care what he told the woman. After all, she was trapped in a cell. There wasn’t a very good chance that she could break out, nor did she seem to care about telling Soul Society where their long-lost Vice Captain is. He could confide because it didn’t matter.

Hm, as to what I want... Well, I can't say that I really want anything from you. I just wanted to bother you a little. As soon as I sensed you, I thought I might have some fun with you. But it looks as if the Primera has already taken all of the fun out of you... There it was. The smile was back. It seemed like the more Douma and Saeki talked, the more amused and thrilled he became. There was an energy that was building up with each word between them, and it was dark and violent. “If they’d let us out of these handcuffs and cells, I’d be more than happy to show you exactly how much fun I can be.” He really hated her.

But she knew how to tear him apart. Would you like to know what Manami is doing? Now that was a good question. Douma didn’t think about Manami much, not any more. She was always a side-thought. His main focus was Adalo. ‘How can I get back at Adalo for what he did to me?’ Not ‘How can I get back at Adalo for what he did to Manami?’ It was always about Kagami. Douma was the same to a degree. He would never admit it, but Saeki could see it. His selfishness.

Similarly, a sliver of Kagami still resided with this dark, evil figure. A thin silver, but a a sliver none-the-less. And that Kagami still longed for Manami. He only wanted to relive the memories of their life together and make that into a reality. That sliver is the only reason why Douma didn’t erase the memories of Manami out of his mind. He could do so if he wanted to, but he didn’t. He still cared. And even if he wanted to tell Saeki no, she would be able to tell that he was lying.

“Yes. Tell me where she is and what she is doing.”

What if I told you that she's with the Primera Espada as we speak? That was the first thing that Saeki said. And yet, how could it be possible? It must surely, certainly, be impossible. Adalo De-Mona was dead. That was supposed to be fact. Sozen Kuchiki had gone after him and killed him. The Kuchiki Head had confirmed that with his own eyes he had seen Adalo turn to ashes with a maniacal grin on the Arrancar's face. The Squad 6 Captain was known for succeeding in his missions. He always managed to kill his opponents. The only one he had not killed was the Segunda, whom many suspected now owed some sort of allegiance to Sozen for having been spared.

So how could Adalo possibly be alive? But he isn't Adalo... Saeki said, sensing more at the monster and at Manami. So she had advanced in allegiances? Manami now just worked with a new Primera, who had replaced Adalo? Well, maybe that was lucky. Adalo really was gone. He wasn't there anymore. He was dead. The new Primera wasn't him. That was good news. Douma might be disappointed, but the Kagami inside could breathe a sigh of relief. Adalo was gone. The one who had hurt him had truly been vanquished. And though Douma might wish that he had the chance to exact his revenge, the sliver of Kagami left inside of him might be glad Manami was no longer under Adalo's influence.

Ah, but he is the spirit of De-Mona... Of revenge. He is the darkness you remember... And he is worse than that. Somehow, he has returned from the land of the dead as someone new. He has reincarnated in a more twisted form. And Manami is more infatuated with his power than ever. That was bad news, too. Sozen had killed Adalo. But there was a new form of Adalo. Something stronger. Something more evil. And no one in Soul Society knew about it except for Kagami, who was now Douma. Would he share this knowledge at some point? Probably not. He couldn't. After all, being found to have ties to Saeki would result in his being executed by the Kuchikis.

Suddenly, the door to Douma's cell opened up. There was a guard standing outside. "Come," the guard said. "You are to appear for psychological evaluation. Follow me." It was up to Kagami whether or not he chose to follow. If not, he would be kept in his cell and stay there longer. If he did follow, he would be led to a bleak, white room with bright lights that were almost blinding for one who had sat in darkness for so long, and would be strapped to a chair which supposedly stripped him of his powers and kept him in place. He found himself facing a round faced man with round spectacles, who was some sort of examiner. "Please state your name for the record," the round faced man said.

And either way, Saeki spoke once again in Douma's mind... Or perhaps in Kagami's. Manami isn't thinking about you right now. But she's about to kill someone you used to like.

After moving throughout the hallways with as little noise as possible Asmoskon finally managed to reach a stairwell. When he looked down he saw that what he had found could very well lead him down to other that were abnormal. Asmoskon had always been referred to as a Quincy with a natural gift for power yet he new that even a prodigy such as himself would be nothing when compared to the monsters that draw legend from their conquests. Asmoskon had a mission at hand however and only a few hours to actually find the location of his targets. He would have to be back in his cell at some point prior to the next time he was suppose to be given anything.

That was when Asmoskon heard the sounds of foot steps down the hallway. Asmoskon had the senses of a wild animal and while he couldn't see the guards making their way towards him the sounds that they were causing without care altered him of his endangerment. Asmoskon wasn't a stealthy individual who fought from the shadows. Yet there was a release that he had accepted this mission from Sozen without any fear of being found out. He just hadn't wished to utilize it so soon it didn't feel right to brush off something that no foe had even seen. In all actuality no individual had seen it not even Hotaru or his platoon in Xcution. Asmoskon closed his eyes and channeled his reiatsu causing it to spike for a moment. "Teppai Shimasu" The brief whisper escaped his lips and in the next moment the wandering Quincy would vanish from existence to the guards.

Asmoskon didn't have a way of finding out these guards exact strength so for the moment he was AMPing up the power of his third bow release. For the time being unless these guards had reiatsu that's strength was no less than equal to his own along with being unable to sense into the soul he would remain abolished. The guards were speaking to one another as they passed Asmoskon who was standing there against the wall as they past in front of him. He was going to walk down the stairwell when a different free Quincy was brought up. These guards claimed that whoever this was would have the power to defeat his own family and that he had to be older. Asmoskon was here for two weeks and knew it wouldn't take him long to locate the two targets Sozen had sent him in for so for the time being finding this other Quincy could occupy some of his time.

Asmoskon started to walk throughout the halls again alternating between floors until he got to the 9th floor. He had heard the guards say that this was the floor that held the free Quincy so this was the most logical place to start his search for the individual. His ability was still active so any guards that he pass would more then likely be left unable to even perceive his existence. On the off chance that one of them noticed him Asmoskon would focus more of his reiatsu into his release and suddenly vanish to the guard as if he was never there. All of it would be worth it when he came upon the cell of the free Quincy.

The Soul Society is an infinite, ever expanding world. As a spiritual dimension, space can never be reached from this world, as to ascend would lead to infinite sky, and to descend would lead to infinite underground. That is the form of this world. It is not a planet, but a dimension. A dimension that allows impossible things. Thus, the Senzaikyu. The Senzaikyu's underground prison is purposely told to outsiders to be of a different layout than it really is. It is actually broken down into twenty seven floors, each separated by two miles of staircase and earth. One must, to get to the bottom, descend over fifty miles underground. Each nine levels house a different class of evil, with the lower the floor the worse the monster.

Asmokon's anti detection worked well for him as he ventured down to the ninth floor. It was there, as he wandered, that he would encounter this supposed Quincy. At the first nine floors, the cells may deprive people of light, sometimes even of sound, and might deprive them of general mobility, but it did not seal them such that they could not be detected. Certainly, they could not use their spiritual powers. However, they could be detected by others and could detect others. This was what would allow Asmokon to find the Quincy. An enormous reiatsu awaited him. A Quincy's reiatsu, which, as he descended, seemed to reach out to and beckon to him.

So, arriving before the correct cell, Asmokon would be able to get a glimpse of the reinforced steel door that was his kin's prison. Except for a small transparency to look inside, there was no way to glimpse the other Quincy. And, submerged in shadows in the back, still he could not be seen. Entering the door was likely impossible. This prison, after all, was made from a variant of Seki Seki stone at all parts. The floors, and even the metal doors, were indestructible to spiritual ability. Even physical strength was useless, given how well reinforced these places were. Only a truly top tier creature could ever hope to outdo the prison. This place was inescapable not only because of the security and the guards, but because of the indestructibility of the structure itself. Even without guards reinforcing it, the prison was a challenge to leave.

Still, standing before that door, Asmokon would be able to detect a mighty Quincy. Someone inhumanly strong. Indeed, a reiatsu strength far above the Masurao Quincy's own. A level of adversary which would make most shudder. A monster. Supposedly, one of the most powerful Quincy to ever live. But Asmokon, who had his spiritual powers in this place, might have some way of getting through the door. Even before then, however, there would come the voice of the Quincy. A cracked, broken voice, yet still filled with power. "I never thought that I would be brought out so soon... That Saeki really is true to her word, isn't she...?"
