Location: Outside of a mental hospital. A three story building, a lovely blend of reds and browns, giving out a nice, happy vibe.
Special Conditions: None.
Circumstances: Kaze, still wondering around the world, manages to stumble his way to the states, causing his usual mischief. Jem, on a mission from UE, flies in for his own reasons.

Walking alongside the ever busy streets of New York, a scantily clad young man wondered. He wore nothing but a baggy grey hoodie, and a very loose pair of brown shorts, stopping an inch past his knees. Littering his arms and legs were multiple cuts that had long since scared over. While this young looking man may seem down on his luck, in reality, he had his situation, completely, and utterly, under control. "GET BACK HERE!" Which is why he was running as fast as he currently could away from a bunch of angry looking humans.

He had arrived in this land, via boat. It was a very tedious, and difficult journey for another time. Anywho, after getting to this place, admittedly dirty place, he had began seeing all sorts of spirits. Big, fat, small, scary, you name it, you can bet it was in this weird city. The air here had a disgusting smell to it, like it was filled with dirt and grease. So the man's current priority was to exit this putrid city as fast as he possibly could. Sadly, this was proving to be a challenge, as there was so many people in his way, preventing him from running through the place.

He eventually wondered into a less populated area. "THANK YOU!" He yelled to the sky, only doing so since he had seen a few humans do so. He was about to start running through the place, until he heard a terror filled shriek . "Okay, take it back. SCREW YOU!" Screaming again, racing towards the sound. He found the source not even a minute later. Outside an alleyway stood a man. He wore a white sleeveless shirt, brown pants that bunched up around his ankles, and a blue bandana wrapped around his head at an angle.

The man quickly noticing him, stepped forward, hunched over slightly in an attempt to look dangerous. "Hey! Beat it!" He told him. But the young man took no heed of his warning, and jumped. Twisting his body in the air, he put both his feet forward, and slammed into the thug's gut. Said thug looked like his eyes were about to pop out of his head, as he flew towards the brick wall behind him. Landing shakly at the mouth of the alley, he looked to see what the man was guarding. Inside was a pair of surprised looking men, dressed in a similar manner as the first, as well as a woman up against the wall.

Said woman looked like she had been crying, as he hands were being held above her head. The two men changed their look from surprised, to royally pissed off. "What are you guys doing?" He asked. The thugs ran towards the man, letting the woman go. And that's where we find our young man now. His name is Jikken Kaze, wondering mod soul, running around New York with a couple of goons in his trail. He knew he could beat them if he tried... but it was so much more exciting as a chace. Nothing like having everyone get out of your way while two guys tried to kill you.

Then again, Kaze wasn't the best of people to go to for reasonable entertainment. Eventually the two gave up, either not finding the mod soul no longer worth the effort, or that they simply didn't have the energy to continue. "Great... now I'm bored again...." He complained, a pout spreading across his face. After taking a few minutes to catch his breath, he started traversing the area once more. He hated how these building managed to blot out more of the sun. Like he was crawling through the bottom of an abyss. It disturbed him how people could live like this.

"Well, at least there aren't any..." He sees a black creature duck around a building. "...hollows." His head twitches violently. A dark rage tries to engulf Jikken. He fights it off, starting his chace. The creature is a fast one, he idly thinks to himself, running past the droves of humans that littered the streets. It was a wonder how they all hadn't become lunch to the hollows with how poor they guarded the humans. "Worthless samurai...." He muttered angrily under his breath.

By the time the hollow finally reached its destination, the sun had set for the city. "Disgusting, isn't it?" The hollow said as it descended to the ground. Behind it was a brownish red building. The beast took the shape of some sort of demonic fusion between a rat and a bird. The thing stood roughly four feet tall, and eight feet if it were to stand on its hind legs. "Even at night, you can see almost as well as day." The voice was that of an aged female that had smoked one too many cigarettes. The man nodded his head, his arms folded across his chest.

"I know! Night should be for sleeping! And don't get me started on the air around here, yuck." He unfolded his arms, only to pinch his fingers around his nose. The hollow chuckled darkly. "You humans, wallowing around in this cesspool you call a city. Well, I guess you won't for much longer. You, the foolish bug who followed the mouse to its den." The creature roared, and lunged for the brown haired man.

Said man grinned a toothy grin in response. "I'm no human you filth." A miniature tornado surrounded the man. The hollow, not having enough time to react, falls into the man. The hybrid only had the time to widen its putrid yellow eyes, as it was torn to shreds. Blood and gore flew everywhere, and would have been a true horror to behold, if the average human could have actually see it. "I'm a mod soul, you filth." The mod soul gained a distant look, before shaking his head. " Man I hate that guy..." He said, looking irritated.

In the bustling of New York City, human populace and technology were abundant. It was a city of human tenacity. They say if you could make it here, you could make it anywhere and it was apparent. People walking, running, shoving. There were messengers on bikes weaving in and out of traffic as taxi cabs and their drivers yelled and honked at each other. Children were playing hopscotch and avoiding anyone who got to close. There were lights everywhere and in the late afternoon, the heat was sweltering. In New York it seemed there was a heavy concentration of spiritual entities. Hollow ran rampant, and it seemed that there were an under population of shinigami.

It was because of this heavy spiritual presence, there was still a higher chance of fallen activity, and because of this. Two mod souls had been jumping from building to building to since morning. One was clearly lagging behind the other. The one leading seemed to be having much more fun than the second one. The sun began to descend as every so often, cracks would open in the sky and a hollow would appear, only for it to explode in a shower of golden energy. Why was he laughing? Because suzaku was crazy, or at least that’s what Jem thought when he saw the hyperactive Mod soul.

Suzaku was around five foot seven with brown hair and golden eyes; his build was lean, coiled and taunt. He was very clearly a martial artist. His black gear clearly accenting his body type, his legs crossing as he performed a scissor kick and caused a bat hollow to explode in a shower of goo and spiritual particles, Suzaku was smiling all the while. He would even create air ground and immediately take off after his next target. Lagging behind him, was a very worried and worn out Jem.

The boy lagging behind the first was dressed in the same black gear, leather and heavy cloth. His white hair was pulled back into a pony tail and his eyes gleamed with worry and curiosity. They were going to be in so much trouble, why was this becoming a common thing? “Suzaku! Slow down, you’re going to miss any fallen with all the speed you’re putting into hunting for simple Hollow!” Jem was constantly scanning for demonic signatures. He had however slowed down after seeing a small little litter of kittens. They were adorable, but they looked underfed. Jem wished he could go purchase some wet cat food to give to them.

“Jem! You’re falling behind! Come on! This is fun!” Jem sighed and stepped up his speed, using a few steps to catch up to Suzaku. “You know, just because your powers can’t effect the spiritual body, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t destroy the hollow here if we can.” Suzaku had a smile on his face, but his point was valid. Lives were saved by destroying hollow, both living and dead. “I understand Suzaku, but we still should be on the lookout for fallen.” Suzaku became quiet for a moment, “Trust me, and there’s no fallen within a mile of us. However…” He trailed off and Jem was instantly curious to what he sensed. After a few moments Suzaku turned to the south and began to travel at his max speed, “Come on! Something interesting is going on this way!”

Suzaku was leaving Jem in the dust, Though Jem knew if he kept this up he’d ware himself out and then where would they be. However it seemed they were going to be travelling in the dark. That was dangerous. Though most likely Suzaku must have found something really interesting, which was apparent as soon as they came over a particularly beat up set of buildings. Jem heard it then, “GUUUUUUUUUUU!” And the explosion that followed, “I’m a mod soul you filth!” Jem’s eyes widened. He hadn’t sensed the mod soul, but it was apparent that Suzaku had.

A large section of the hollow was still intact, but blood was everywhere around this Mod soul that was just standing there “Man I Hate that guy.” Before Jem realized it, before Jikken Realized it, Suzaku was right next to the newest Mod soul his fist slamming into the remnants of the Hollow that tried to again eat the Mercenary Mod Soul. “Impact Beta: Adamant!” Golden light blew through Suzaku’s fist and then through the Hollows partially shattered mask. The Hollows body began to expand before it exploded in golden light and embers. The next moment Suzaku vanished and appeared next to Jem once more.

“Well, that was fun.” Suzaku pushed his hands up in a stretch before looking at Jem, “He looks strong, you should fight him.” Jem looked incredulously at the other mod soul. “Why?! You know my power destroys everything, even if I don’t want it to, and you want me to fight another of our kind?!” Suzaku looked a little exasperated, “So don’t fight him with it, but you need to get stronger. The Veil between the worlds is weakening and more fallen are escaping into the worlds. We need you at your peak just like the Brothers need me at mine as well.” Jem’s face became a calm mask. “Are you sure, you really think I can do this?”

Suzaku’s face became a huge smile. “Of course I do! Yes, your power is destructive. Yes, it doesn’t discriminate between friend and foe. But that’s what makes you so great. You learn when to apply to give the most good out of it. You’ll do fine so stop hesitating so much in your life.” Suzaku turned, ”I’ll be back in a half hour, going to go patrol the city, see if I can pick up some fallen traces and destroy more hollow. You make us proud.” Jem nodded before jumping down and landing in front of the other mod soul. He was trying to be serious; to be aggressive, and while his form was rigid. It was not supposed to be rigid but taunt and it was in this stance.

Jem focused his eyes on Jikken to better depict the mod soul in the dark. It would be a little difficult to keep an eye on him, even with all the ambient light, but he would be worse off due to his inferior senses. Jem was relying on his energy sensory. “I hope you don’t mind, but you and I are going to fight. I need to get stronger.” So very formal and silly but this was proof that Jem was still young, so how would the mod soul react to the sudden arrival of more of his kind?

Getting over his frustration, he looks around, trying to find something else to do. "I'm gonna bed..." The mod soul mumbled, beginning to walk off. A not so subtle shifting alerts him that his hollow friend wasn't exactly as wood chipped as he thought he was. He was about to reactivate his armor, when he heard a familiar sound. He couldn't place his finger on it, but it was so.... something! He should know it! Turning around, he caught the sight of a man, striking down at the felled hollow. “Impact Beta: Adamant!” He cried. A beautiful explosion of fire followed.

"What." Was the only thing Kaze could say. From this random dude's fist, a flash of light came off his fist, burning into the rat's head. And then the man was gone, again with that irritatingly familiar sound! What was it?! He would had started looking around on the dot, but the stupid hollow started to swell up. "Nope!" He reactivated his armor just in time for the hollow to explode in light and fire. Really, really bright light. "Well that was fun. Now where'd you go!" He called out, looking to the sides behind him, searching for this teleporting dude.

Giving up after about ten seconds, he paused his armor flow once again, letting it fade for now. "Well screw you too buddy! Yeah, too scared of the me!" He said, boosting his bravado with empty words. "Well now I'm bored again. What to do, what to do?" He said under his breath. He hadn't even taken three steps, before... “I hope you don’t mind, but you and I are going to fight. I need to get stronger.” Some stiff decides to.... request(!?), no, more like, well, does tell them that they were going to fight. "Sigh... Yeah, sure, okay." He said to himself through closed eyes, rubbing his temples with his right hand.

Spinning on his heel, he turns to face the new opponent. And he is revealed to be...! A black shadowy blob. "Oh. Right. Night time. Almost forgot." He says, slightly louder than an his usual mumbling. "And why, would I care about helping some random human? They aren't exactly the kindest race around." He said idly. He two steps forward. "Or are you a shinigami? Maybe a Quincy, hmm? I kinda can't see you. Hehe." He says, half embarrassed, chuckling as he walked towards the blob.

He might have tried to seem lax, but he wasn't that good an actor. At best, his tone came off as tense, anticipating this upcoming fight, waiting on something to happen. The flood gates in his mind opened up again, with a burning rage taking him over. A little gift left behind from his dear old pals, the shinigami. Stand up guys. Really. His true self was forced back, as his battle self shone through. "Then again, I don't care!" He said, interrupting anything the other man was saying. His voice coming out as an angry rasp.

"You dare challenge me to a fight maggot? I'LL KILL YOU WHERE YOU STAND!" With a mere thought, a miniature tornado wrapped around the angry soul. From his head to his feet, every inch of his body was covered in wind so fierce, even the ground beneath him was starting to break away. "I am Jikken Kaze(experiment Wind)! Titan of the wind, worm! Prepare to die!" The man rushed for the blob, letting his armor carry him towards his destination, roaring as he did so. Behind him, simply a trail, looking like it had been ripped out from the earth.

[Jem Carstairs]

Jem was confused; this mod soul didn’t make much sense to him. He kept mumbling and slurring his words. Was he intoxicated? Wait, could Mod souls become drunk? Was he perhaps injured? Did he take one to many blows to the head and it was messing with his speech patterns. Jem was so confused; his form was starting to become better the more he pondered. Less rigid and more taunt, he was ready to fight now and it seemed that he grossly overestimated the senses of the mod soul. In reply to his statement, the mod soul wheeled around until he faced Jem’s form before sighing and speaking. “Yeah Sure, Okay.”

Well, that was easy enough. However, sadly he was feeling some regret to this plan. He wasn’t sure the mental state of this mod soul, was he like Jem was before he became had enough strength of will to overcome the darkness haunting his soul. That was a lie, it was still there. Deep within him, he could feel it lurking, bubbling ever closer to the surface when he ever used his powers of Destruct. It was a horrible feeling to think that you were losing your mind. “Oh right. Night time. Almost forgot.” Wait, he forgot that it was nighttime? What was wrong with this guy, was he okay? You didn’t normally forget that it was nighttime.

A little louder than the stranger was speaking before, he spoke again. “And why would I care about helping some random human? They aren’t exactly the kindest race around.” Wait, he wasn’t human. Couldn’t this mod soul sense his reiastu signature and see they were of the same race, the same origin. However he noted the two steps he took towards Jem. “Or are you a Shinigami? Maybe a Quincy, hmm? I kinda can’t see you. Hehe.” Oh, so he couldn’t see him and he didn’t have energy sensory it seemed. That made this easier at least it gave him an advantage, if this mod soul’s reiastu was anything to tell he was stronger than Jem. However it seemed that power came at a cost.

He began walking leisurely over to Jem, causing the Mod soul to slide back. He was acutely aware of what he could see, the brick wall behind him. The grass and pavement making the sidewalk to his left, as well as the street light illuminating the lawn in a faint glow. Jem was hyper alert in a midst of variables and unknowns, “Then again I don’t care.” The mod soul’s voice changed becoming raspier, more animalistic. He was angry, and Jem didn’t know why. Jem shifted back again trying to make sense of this Mod soul. But there was very little to use.

“You dare challenge me to a fight maggot?! I’ll kill you where you stand!” Then the mod soul’s body exploded. Wait no, exploded was the wrong word. His reiastu surged around him shifting the wind into a tornado. It was covering his body, shielding him and propelling him off the ground. The ground itself was cracking from the force of the pressure. Jem’s stance changed and he crossed his arms over his chest with his hands blocking most of his face palms out. He was blocking that wind, it was clear that either this was his mod soul ability or it was in fact something new that Jem had never heard of but could learn.

The Mod Soul yelled again in that angry and raspy voice, “I am Jikken Kaze! Titan of the wind, worm! Prepare to die!” Jem’s eyes widened and a clear, “Oh hell…” slipped from his mouth. See this was a clear indication of how much Jem thought he screwed up. Jem never cursed, not even in the slightest. He was a soft spoken individual that didn’t like condescending or down putting speech. He wasn’t even one for loud, violent, or boisterous statements or threats. This was outside both his area of expertise and his comfort zone. However, this seemed lost on the other mod soul. But to be fair, it seemed a lot in the last few minutes had been lost on him. Jem himself was still trying to catch up.

The Mod Soul shot forward, his speed was faster than even that of the best human athlete but he was still slow. The ground behind him was ripped apart, and there was power there that was for sure but Jem was able to see his form and notate that it looked as if he hadn’t actually had any formal martial training. He jumped back and felt his legs crouch against the stone before he pressed off and jumped over the other mod soul. He was sent slightly off balance due to the wind by he was able to clear the mod soul’s form. Landing on the ground and to the right of his original position, he caught one of the larger chunks of solid dirt and hurled it at Jikken.

He wasn’t sure whether than wind was a shredding kind of armor or just a barrier of defense and he didn’t want to find out with his body. As soon as his hands released the dirt, he leapt back, gaining more distance to further figure out why this mod soul was so angry. “Why do we need to kill, garnering strength is enough, is it not? There’s not enough of our kind left in the world to be killing one another.” This was also true, Mod souls were uncommon in the world, just like the Vampiric Bounts and the human Fullbringers like Kazura Uzaki and Captain Wonderful. Actually, that could be something. If Jem could get this mod soul to join Uzaki Enterprises, perhaps they could help him get over this murderous rage.

Jem fell into his stance once more. He was still watching for the effects of that solid chunk of dirk to hit the wind shield wall ability. But this power seems like it might actually be strong enough to repel his destruct. He’d have to wait and see, because if it could he could be a valuable sparring partner in the future. Jem for the first time in a long time looked relieved; his ability was so aggressive it provided the defense in the attack. But he had a feeling that this Mod soul, no, Jikken Kaze would find this out soon enough.

[Jikken Kaze]

As he rushed towards the foolish worm managed to jump over the mod soul. Using the wall behind him, he launched himself over Kaze's head long before he could get there. In actually, it was mere moments. The trash was faster than he was. That made him mad. He was about to charge again, when a random... something, hit his armor, right in front of his face. The light levels were still at a minimum, so it was hard to see what it was, but based on how it was destroyed, he could assume it was just dirt. Said dirt, was destroyed so fast, it looked like it simply vanished. The only proof that it had ever existed, was the small dust cloud that went over his shoulder.

"A worm playing in the dirt. How typical." He sneered, about to run in again, but instead paused to think. This one was going to be hard to kill if he couldn't get close. Curse his lack of speed! "Note to self, make Kaze work on my speed..." He said under his breath. The blob would suffer for his insolence! No one may surpass the mighty-'Shut up!' Kaze yelled, shoving program to the side, taking control of his body once more. A fight was more fun without bloodshed, and he definitely didn't need a body on his hands. Lets just hope he could keep him away this time.

Kaze began walking forward at a leisurely pace, almost like a strut. There was little that could injure him while his armor was up. And he knew it too, giving him a cocky edge. He continued walking, even as the man spoke. “Why do we need to kill, garnering strength is enough, is it not? There’s not enough of our kind left in the world to be killing one another.”" Well that was weird. This guy was speaking almost as if he were a mod soul too. Nahh, he definitely didn't sound like one of his siblings, from what little he could remember of them.

Then again.... Could those shinigami have been stupid enough to have tried making more mod souls after what the five of them had done to them? He remembers a blur of destruction well enough, but shouldn't that have been enough for them to just STOP? While the mod soul contemplated this, he simply stood there, looking upwards. He was deep in thought. Not only about the man's question, but whether or not the people who created the would try for a second time. 'Well, not the same people, they're dead, but whatever.'"Hmm..." Kaze adopted a thinkers pose, even going so far as to sit down. In mid air. Floating? He was thinking so hard about this, it almost looked like steam was coming out of the side of his head.

Now, how to respond to this? 'Welp, like I always say, start from the beginning.' He stands again, or stops floating, and levels a serious look at the younger man. "I kill because cause the shinigami are monsters. You'd know that if you were an actual mod soul." He told him, sounding much older than he looked, giving him a slight glare. "I don't kill because I want to, believe me, I don't." He looked defeated, pained, like a kicked puppy. He had to keep happy or else. "I kill because I was made to kill. Made to kill everyone, and everything around me." A small smile spread across his face. "The shinigami aren't very smart with their inventions." His face contorted into a scowl.

He started walking forward, looking like a dark omen in the black of night. "Those filthy monsters screwed me over good. They molded me into a powerful weapon, made me go through one hundred years of a drug induced torture, and what's the thanks I get?" He's beginning to sound hysterical. He palms the front of his face, trying to fight off the memories. "They tried to erase me, to replace me with that, that THING you saw a moment ago! Shoved him into MY head! One hundred years of THAT, and they think they can simply write me off! Throw me away like some broken toy so they can get a new one!?"

His armor was spinning, faster and faster with every word, every line spoken. It was starting to compact on itself, until... "I WON'T LET THEM!"His armor explodes outwards, mimicking his feelings, as he swiped his arm at an angle. "I'll SLAUGHTER EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM LIKE THE SWINE THEY ARE! THE SOUL SOCIETY WILL BURN AT MY FEET!" His armor was screeching, as Kaze roared to the heavens like a dark omen. His rational mind all but gone at this point, the program having taken over once more.

His eyes were burned a hot red, as glared at his opponent. "And you!" He points with his whole arm. "Nearly one hundred mod souls died when I was born, and you sure don't look like any of the ones that survived!" His voice rasping as he spoke. He was truly angry now. Not much The mod soul vanishes in a burst of Caelumintro. "I'll gut you like a pig and rip out your soul!" He reappears in front of the other mod soul, fist cocked back, throwing a punch in the next instant. The only plan in his mind at the moment, was to kill anything he could. If the guy was a mod soul, then his pill would remain intact, and he'd just get him a new body. If he wasn't, oh well.

Jem watched as the dirt impacted the wind armor and the shredding that followed. The dirt itself was shredded leaving only a cloud of dust. The dust went over the Mod soul’s soldier, Jem noticing that Jikken was looking for him, “A worm playing in the dirt. How typical.” That voice was still raspy, animalistic, “Note to self, make Kaze work on my speed… Shut up!” Jem jumped a little at the change in voice before speaking himself. Again, he was confused. Why was he changing voices again, this was so weird. Jem’s stance faltered a little, but he soon fixed it sliding his body back into form.

Jem watched as the armor spun and spun, but the Mod soul was looking up at the stars as if deep in thought, using that moment Jem pondered that if the armor was as strong as he thought, he would need the shroud of destruct to protect against it. However he couldn’t bring himself to attack preemptively or while the other Mod soul was lost in thought, “Well, not the same people, they’re dead, but whatever. Hmm…” Jikken jumped into a thinker’s pose, jumping and sitting on the wind, floating there. He was indeed deeply in thought and Jem would not attack him in that moment of rushing ideas. He was not that kind of man.

He after a few moments began to stand and began to speak again, “Welp, like I always say, start from the beginning. I kill because the Shinigami are monsters. You’d know that if you were an actual mod soul.” Jikken began to glare at the younger Mod soul, “I don’t kill because I want to, believe me, I don’t.” There was a look of melancholy, of pain upon his face, Jem could only wonder the cause of such a thing. “I kill because I was made to kill. Made to kill everyone, and everything around me.” Jikken smiled, “The Shinigami aren’t very smart with their inventions.” Then his smile turned into a scowl. Jikken began to walk towards Jem, who began sliding backwards attempting to keep distance from the other Mod Soul.

“Those filthy monsters screw me over good. They molded me into a powerful weapon, made me go through a hundred years of drug induced torture, and what’s the thanks I get.” It sounded as if the mod soul was losing his mind. It worried Jem, his own terrors beginning to rise up. He didn’t enjoy this one bit, why was this Mod soul on the brink of insanity? ‘Honestly, you haven’t been paying attention? It’s because of Shinigami…’ No, he wasn’t beginning to surface here not now. “They tried to erase me, and replace me with that, that thing you saw a moment ago! Shoved him into my head! One hundred years of that, and they think they can simply right me off! Throw me away like some broken toy so they can get a new one?!”

There was a powerful killing intent bubbling up from the Mod soul across from James, and he was beginning to cause something to stir within the younger mod soul. “I won’t let them!” His armor began to rotate again gaining traction and spinning rotation. “I’ll slaughter every last one of them like the swine they are! The Soul Society will burn at my feet!” His armor was screeching, Jem’s eyes were completely hidden, his mouth only slightly parted as he stated only a few words. “Slaughter… Burn…” Jikken glared at the younger mod soul. “And you!” pointing with his full arm at Jem. “Nearly one hundred Mod souls died when I was born, and you sure don’t look like any of the one’s that survived!”

He vanished using the Mod Soul’s step technique Caelumintro, screaming as he did so, “I’ll gut you like a pig and rip out your soul.” Reappearing in front of Jem’s body, throwing a punch, his armor and wind careening for Jem’s body. However as he did Jem’s hand thrust forward through the armor and caught his fist. It was impossible. Possibly the first time this had ever happened to Jikken or the ‘Program’ in the history of his battles. Looking closer, he’d see that there were ethereal flames licking up and around Jem’s hand and up his arm and around his entire body. His entire body was coated in these flames, forming shroud of flames.

“Tch…, you’re more trouble then you’re worth… James you blithering coward… instead of being so damn afraid, just destroy him.” It seemed that Jem, or the person controlling Jem’s body has activated his destruct level 2 followed by Willpower stage three gate. Effectively doubling his natural spiritual pressure and Reiastu strength, with it he was able to erase the armor touching his destruct shroud. Jem’s face was alight with a very insane look, gripping Jikken’s fist so he couldn’t move and without missing a beat from catching the punch James head-butted Jikken straight to his nose. How he did something like that, one might ask.

It was because at the moment with destruct’s shroud active, this level of Kaze’s wind armor meant nothing. Jem followed it up by releasing Jikken’s hand and sending four open palm strikes into Jikken’s upper chest and lower torso bypassing his armor once more, his form was highly aggressive. He didn’t even hesitate on the transition either “By the way, you can call me Oni and I’ll be thanking you for freaking the kid out and letting me take over. You reward will be a slow, agonizingly sweet death…” What was with this sudden change to Jem’s personality, it was like it was different person entirely.

[Jikken Kaze]

Jikken was a simple guy. He thought of nothing but the destruction of all living things around him. Kaze was much the same, minus the killing. But, though it all, he always had a plan. No matter how simplistic they may be, they just about always came through for him. When it was, activate his armor, it always did so. When it was, kill that hollow, and who know's how many times he's planned that, it pulled through for him. He called this plan, 'puch though this guy's heart'. Part one, punch the guy. Part two was tear through his body like paper till he died. Part one was going smoothly, till it sort of hit a tiny hitch. This guy was able to block him. "Wut?"

His mind was so shut down from that man's one action, he didn't even attack during the man's little speech. “Tch…, you’re more trouble then you’re worth… James you blithering coward… instead of being so damn afraid, just destroy him.” James. Got one name out of him. The who is answered, but not the how. How and WHY WASN'T HE DEAD!? The man was able to touch Jikken through his armor, the one thing that's always been with him. And this.... 'James' was able to just ignore it!? His rage flew to new levels that he had never reached before. And then that anger was snuffed out by pain.

The center of his face exploded in pain, as the other mod soul's head collided with his nose, nearly breaking the appendage. "How-ugk!" Jikken's question was cut off by four hard strikes to his chest. Each one knocking a little more air from the lungs of his gigai. Right through his armor! He was doubled over, holding his gut with his free hand. Something was wrong here... But what!? “By the way, you can call me Oni and I’ll be thanking you for freaking the kid out and letting me take over. You reward will be a slow, agonizingly sweet death…” And like that, his rage was rekindled.

Then it hit him. That failed excuse for a project.... Kaze was holding him back, that fool! Their armor had the capability to shred through anything when he was younger, but that quality had degraded into a pale shadow of its former self. They were forced to live by the human filth, unable to do as he was programed to do, lest something slay him. But in spite of that, his armor should have been able to slice through this brat like a log through a wood chipper! No, the only explanation was that the failure was holding back a portion of his strength. Does he actually believe that this bipolar worm is his brother?!

Still doubled over, he tilted his head up slightly, only letting his red eyes be seen. "Hehehehe.... It seems that we really do all have our demons." He said ironically. His eyes then narrowed in rage. Due to his level of pain tolerance, he was able to recover faster than most. Throwing himself forward, he aimed to slam his head into 'Oni's, in an attempt to strike him with a similar head butt. At the same time, he kicked forward, trying to smash his knee into the mod soul's groin, and went to grab the hand holding his own while he was distracted with his face.

Both attacks hit the young man. But sadly, the man looks nothing more than dazed. A pain on his knee and face tell him that something went horribly wrong. On the places when he used to strike the boy, small cuts opened up, causing small amounts of blood to leak through. At least he managed to grab his hand. "But you've still got a lot to learn worm." Fighting through the pain, he jumped up, using all his strength to keep the white haired psycho in his grasp. His armor might have disappeared from where the brat had touched him , but most of it was still there. Meaning, that he wasn't limited to the ground.

Quickly he rocked to his current max height of eight feet. Using all of his strength, the older soul spun the young one over him, while he himself was laying at a horizontal angle. "Living and suffering is a lot worse than death!" Jikken threw the man towards the ground directly below him. Reactivating his armor, restoring the chunks that had been removed, he dived down towards the albino lookin kid. He had his arms held out in front of him in an 'x' pattern, aimed right for his neck. He knew that the aura this kid had could cancel out his power. If this didn't decapitate him, he didn't want to bounce off the guy and injure himself like 'Oni' down there.

'He can cut through our armor Kaze! He's a threat, and I refuse to die by someone who claims to be a mod soul!' He thought, letting the more peaceful persona in on his feelings. 'Give the armor its full effects, or we could die without ever destroying those worms in that place they call heaven!' The other half was still worried. 'You plan on killing him! He could be a brother of mine!' He argued. The programming growled audibly. 'If he's a mod soul, then his pill should be completely intact, even if I take off his head! And if he does die, then he's a human, AND YOU DON'T CARE ANYWAYS!' He argued.

He wanted to facepalm, as he could feel the older half blink in realization. 'Oh. Right. Whoopies, here ya go!' Finally, his armor started letting out a low screeching noise, as the full power of the armor came to life. Jikken's entire body body turned a dark gray color, making his eyes appear even more ominous. The program let loose a toothy grin, as he followed the other mod soul closely. This time, he doubted that Oni's aura would protect him this time. His armor was running at full kilter. "RRAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHH!" He yelled as he flew down.

“It seems like we really do all have our demons.”

If only Kaze knew the half of it, Jem’s face held a small smile but the set of muscles and the way the skin crinkled around his eyes betrayed the evil within. Oni wanted to laugh at the statement, this little program addition to a pitiful race such as mod souls wanted to complain that he had demons? It was hysterical; he couldn’t even actually laugh at the statement though. There was nothing right about Kaze’s words; he didn’t know bitter sweet agony. The Shinigami were amateurs, trying to play at a cheap comedy on the world’s stage. Oni would show James the real parts of world, the parts that would rain red with the blood of those who would stand in his way.

His head hardly hurt at all, knowing how to head-butt and not knowing made a lot of difference in the manner of the head-butt and recovery of the user. So when Kaze shot forward lowering his head to try to do the same thing as a frontal attack and not as retaliation move, it was all too easy to see and defend while counterattacking. As Kaze flew forward, Oni flexed his legs and performed a back flip; however this backflip was also an attack. He flipped bringing his right leg forward and kicking Kaze straight into the face. All that forward momentum would be hard for Kaze to stop. And because he lowered his head, he’d not see it in time since he was much slower than Jem’s body.

The wind shield no longer covered his face and because of this, it was going to hurt. His forehead, cheekbones, lips and nose were obliterated, erased from existence, as well as his eyelids. This was preventing Kaze from blinking and causing him intense physical pain from the blood running into his literal eye sockets from the external damage and now missing skin. There was also the force of the kick, while it wasn’t an Olympic athlete level, it was strong and he was able snap Kaze’s head back from the momentum breaking his attack completely as he finished his flip. Without being able to see the younger Mod soul, and no energy sensory to guide him, he was in deep trouble.

“Jesus, you’re pathetic. No wonder the shinigami whipped you up in a lab,” He started to soar up and around the Mod Soul, keeping out of his reach. “James here, I think he escaped with some more of your kind. But then he was infected with mother’s reshi, the energy of the demons of hell themselves. You think you’re a demon? Please, you’re nothing but an experiment in a lab. I am evil; I am everything that matters now.” As Kaze flailed attempting to grab him and hurl him, Oni simply dodged using his superior speed to outmaneuver Kaze, “I’m not the worm here, sure James qualifies, but we only share the same body, the same powers. I am something so much more.” He watched as the wind armor began to re-solidify spraying Kaze’s blood everywhere preventing him from truly seeing James’ body.

As Kaze screamed out about suffering being worse than death, the smile actually managed to vanish off of James’ face. “You’re right, but true agony will have you begging for death. That’s why it’s sweet, the bliss relief of finally being given the right to die. I want you to beg for death. Because I will show you suffering like never before.” Taking a lower position than Kaze as his armor began to rotate faster and gain and reddish gray color to it, he could feel it becoming denser and was wondering if he should be worried. However, if the Mod soul couldn’t see, he couldn’t hit and James’ body was much faster. He came screaming down again at the younger mod soul’s body. Oni deactivated Gate, his flames losing some of their potency, and stepped off using the mod soul step.

He appeared five yards to the right of his original position and watched as Kaze destroyed the ground with even higher show of power than before. “Tch.” He took another back stance and waited to see if Kaze could actually find him without his use of sight, smell, or sound and he lacked energy sensory. With his primary senses offline and in tremendous pain, he was in trouble. He’d noticed that twice now, he’d been reacted too and been efficiently countered. There were cuts appearing all over James’ body, and sweat was breaking on his limbs and brow. His breathing was deep but still even for now. Oni was aggressive it seemed, but not foolhardy. He enjoyed taking Kaze apart piece by piece, and to effectively fight now, Oni had forced him to have to drop his shield. So what would he do?

The pain was unreal. Pain wasn't apart of his program. It wasn't something that was supposed to happen, his armor was meant to destroy all that it touched, providing the perfect defence through an endless offence. But this being.... This being simply erased it. This creature's touch didn't destroy, didn't burn cut or otherwise. No, it simply erased it, as if it were never there to begin with. If the program knew frustration, it would scream out in it. But now it was confused as for what to do. It wasn't sure how to act without a face.

His eyes were useless because of the blood pouring out from his exposed muscle. It was becoming increasingly difficult to breath because of his missing nose. He still has some semblance of hearing, but it was mostly deafned because of his armor. He was safe within his armor, but for how long? He had been instantly robbed of his senses. Even his sense of touch was removed, since his armor destroyed everything he touched. He was without any option to fight, and that made him all but useless. Like a blind man lashing out at the world without purpose.

He roared in rage at the hand he'd been dealt. "I conceded this fight to you." He snarled, rage lacing every word. "We are Jikken Kaze, and you have earned our respect." His form was hunched over, trying to even stay conscious. "Next we meet, our battle shall be glorious." And with that, the mod soul began to float upwards. In an instant, the moment, the mod soul flashed away, using his step tech to its fullest in order to escape. He could only hope that his foe would not follow.
