Things that go crash in the night... [Closed JTT]

[Kazura Uzaki]

Late at night was when Kazura got most of his thrills. Not only was the bar scene a favorite of his to visit, to enhance his playboy image, but at night was when he could hunt down criminals and hollows with little interference. On this particular night he had chosen the latter option, hunting down new Hollow alerts with the help of his Detection network wired into his building's cell tower. This particular night was getting more and more challenging, as the Hollows were active, but hard to track down. He didn't have a way to attract them without hurting most spiritually sensitive beings in the area, which was not his prerogative. No, he needed to make them come to him without using his full gravitational pressure.

Standing on top of one of the taller buildings in the financial district of downtown Karakura, the Fullbringer unfolded one of his laser bows, preparing it for one... unusual use. He drew the bow out as far as he could, without yet notching the arrow. Pointing it straight up in the air, he simply left it pointed at the sky while he prepared a different technique. Binding the water of the air together in a spear shape and freezing it solid, a spear of ice formed on his bow. He let the spear launch straight upwards, and immediately followed it up with a laser arrow, streaking across the sky. When the laser hit the spear, far up into the sky, the spear of Aisusupia exploded sending ice shards through the cloud layer.

"And thus, snow came to the little town of Karakura..."

With it now snowing, an unnatural reiatsu laden snow, Hollows and other spiritual beings should hopefully be drawn to the massive energy signature right over Kazura's location. And sure enough, the Hollows who had been hiding in the wood work started to swarm him. His laser clawed gauntlets carved through mask after mask of these creatures. He was having fun as each successive beast fell to his attacks. Pretty soon, though, something more than just hollows would be coming... He had no way of knowing what would come next. Would it be a Shinigami, looking to stop his efforts, a Quincy, looking to join him in the Hollow destroying, or any number of other races? Time alone would tell...

"YAAAAHOOOOOO!" Came the loud yell of a nearly nude teen, running down the street, jumping over various things, including benches, off of walls, and grabbing, and spinning around people. That had the most hilarious results. Just walking down the street on a midsummer's night was.... boring. There was nothing fun about going slow, with just letting life get ahead of you. The young looking man appeared to be in his late teens, and dressed in a minimalist fashion. Wearing only loose fitting, baggy brown pants, and a large grey hoody, that hangs open in the front, concealing none of his bare chest.

The warm wind was whipping past his face, letting him feel like all was right in the world. In this terribly foreign world, filled with things he couldn't even begin to dream of. But none of that mattered to him, not at the moment. All that was that he could finally get his blood pumping, his heart racing. He could finally let himself feel fre- why did the air suddenly feel colder? "Whatthecrap!" The teen cried out, as he suddenly slipped on a pile of snow that shouldn't have been there.

The young man fell head over heels, face first towards the sidewalk. Thankfully for him, he just barely managed top activate a special ability of his, that he calls wind armor. A small burst of wind erupted from his body, coating him from head to toe in a light grey tornado. Once he hit the ground, he didn't even feel the impact. The ground that he collided with however, was not as lucky. Because of his armor, instead of sliding a few inches on the ground, he slid nearly ten. With how fast he was going previously, and losing his balance so suddenly, it took his a few seconds to regain control of his momentum.

Flipping forward, using his face as a fulcrum, he landed back on his feet, with his hands outstretched to the sides to keep his balance. Behind the would be teen was a large trail. Said trail looked like someone had taken a cheese grater to the earth and just pulled all the concrete out. The young looking man looked behind him to see the destruction he inadvertently caused. It was surrounded by a layer of something white. "Hehehehe, woops...." He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his head. Something white drifted into his field of vision. "What the..."

Temporarily cutting the reishi from his armor, it deactivated, allowing him to touch things without destroying them. For instance, holding out his hand to catch the noticeable snowflake falling in front of him. Looking on with child-like wonder, he watched on, as the snow melted away. "Pretty." He commented. looking towards the sky, he saw more falling towards the earth, just as slow as the first one. "Beautiful." But why was something that melted so easily falling was it was so warm out. A cold breeze blew past him, giving him mixed feeling of pleasure and discomfort. WAS warm anyway.

So what was causing this? If he concentrated, he could feel something coming from the from this stuff. "Well, I have nothing better do do anyway." With his new quest set out in front of him, he begins searching for anything suspicious. A loud roar caught his attention. Looking back up, he saw several gargantas open up in the night sky, hollows already leaping out in search of prey. "...Well that's normal. Now to find something suspicious." His voice innocent, seeing nothing unusual with a bunch of demonic looking creatures coming into the world of the living.

He felt a massive twitch behind his eyes, following an unnatural rage after spotting the hollows. The young looking man was going to just ignore the beasts, given that they had helped him escape Las Noches, but three when landed all around him, he didn't think that he could avoid a fight. Still, he'd give them one more chance. "Hey guys!" He said with a smile. "I was kinda looking for something, so if you don't mind-ROOOOAR! moving..." Sighing, in exasperation, he reactivated his armor from before, as all the hollows lunged at him.

The fight was over almost before it began, as his armor lashed out at the hollows from the moment they touched him. The result? Having their heads go through the equivalent of a spiritually powered blender. Sawing into the bone masks like porcelain, the hollows didn't even know what hit them. Or more like what they hit. Walking through the decomposing hollow in front of him, he spied several more, considerably more weary looking hollows. His eyes began glowing red. He gained a blood thirsty grin. "And now you've made me mad. DIE WORMS!"

Letting loose his own mighty roar, he charged the hollow, gliding across the ground, shredding through both flesh and concrete alike. To the hollows, it would look like the man in front of them vanished. In reality, he had already killed them. His speed far outstripped the beasts, at least a dozen times over. When he stopped a few feet behind them, each of them sporting a new, man-sized hole through their chests. "Perish maggots!" His armor faded away again, pausing the technique once again. The red light faded from his eyes, and he shook his head, as if to shake away a dizzy spell. "Man I hate that guy..." He said to himself. He resumed his hunt for the weatherman, wherever he was.

[Kazura Uzaki]

Kazura's plan to attract hollows to him had worked, but he was starting to think that he had overdone it in search of the thrill of fighting. More Hollows than he had expected were coming out, and while they weren't too difficult to handle, some were starting to get away from him in search of food that wasn't so... tough to chew. Some even made it down to the streets, and while Kazura was too busy mopping up some of the ones on the rooftop, he noticed a big release of reiatsu and more than a few Hollows simply cease to be. Whatever was happening down there, the fullbringer wanted to be where it was. Getting a few more hollows to chase after him, Kazura dove from the side of the building, falling down towards the street.

Right before hitting the ground, Kazura pushed off of a pillow of Soul Commanded air with Movement, slowing his descent safely. He looked around, but didn't yet see Jikken in the dark. His senses were above average, but not that good. So, not yet seeing who it was who was killing other Hollows, Kazura proceeded to continue to beat up hollows himself, especially the ones chasing him. He lashed out at them with a mixture of Krav Maga and Juijutsu, turning every attack of theirs into a take down followed up by laser claws in the face. The monsters were low leveled, only attacking out of hunger and not intelligence, so their predictable attacks became death in an instant.

With all of the death that was happening, Kazura began to get worried. What if the other fighter was a Shinigami, come to take him out for breaking his verbal agreement not to do this sort of thing? What if it was some other unsavory sort, such as an Arrancar, taking out lowly hollows for fun? What if it were a dozen other races that Kazura had never seen before and not experienced? What if, what if? The night time may have been where Kazura blew off the most steam, and researched the Spirital world the most, but it was also where he was most vulnerable. Where the people who could easily defeat him and leave him for dead were operating. He could only wait and see what sort of person was out there, doing the same sort of work this night.

[Jikken Kaze]

Kaze had barely made it two feet before another wave of hollows filled the streets. Kaze palmed his face, lamenting the fact that hollows were so hard to deal with. 'Well, unless you used violence that is.' He glared up at the masked ghosts, attempting one last time to convince the beasts to leave peacefully, while fighting off his programing for a few fleeting seconds . "Listen, if any of have any higher brain power, you would just, go away!" He yelled at them angrily. His fists were balled at his sides, screaming for them to leave. And it looked like they would for a moment, with all of them looking towards each other.

He sighed in relief. That relief instantly died, as they shrugged, and roared towards him anyway. He was surrounded by no less then eight hollows. "UGH!" He threw his hands up in the air, walking in a small semi circle. That's when the hollows struck, all leaping at him at once. An explosion of wind rolled off of Kaze, completely blocking him from view. Once the burst subsided half a second later, the mod soul was nowhere to be seen. Eight sets of eyes widened in surprise, losing sight of their meal so suddenly. The confusion prevented them from being able to stop themselves before they all collided with a massive headbutt.

Jikken's mod soul ability was truly a useful skill. Destroying everything with a simply touch, it provided the perfect offence through defence. Or was it defence through offence? 'Whatever.' He though, seven feet under the street. Either way, there was one more thing that made his armor so very useful, was that with it, he wasn't limited to where he could move. Forwards, backwards left or right, any could do that. Up and down with a mere thought though? That was what was hard to predict. He watched ass the hollow's collided, and sprung into action. Letting his armor carry him up at an accelerated rate, he flew through the front of every mask.

And where he touched was missing from every mask, taking out the fronts of their teeth, but not enough to kill them. That would come in a moment, as he spun in mid air with his hands outstretched. His hands carved their way through the tops of the hollow's masks, right around where the forehead would be on a human skull. After spinning a few times to make sure he got them all, he just floated there, looking down at his handy work. One by one, the hollows started dropping, slowly dissipating into pure reishi. But Kaze didn't know that. All he knew was rage.

Deciding that killing was going to be the main theme of the night, he chose to let his slaughter program just take over. At least until he saw a human or something. "I'LL SLAY YOU ALL!" He yelled to the cold night sky, looking around frantically for something to maim, to slaughter, just like he was designed to do. Spotting three more hollows up ahead of him, he desperately flew towards them, intent on having a friendly conversation. "YAHAHAHAHAHAHA! DIE INSECTS!" His hands plunged into the skulls of two of the hollows, and carving a trial through their backs, while he simply flew though the third with his entire body. Blood mist and bone dust filled the air behind him.

[Kazura Uzaki]

Kazura slid to a stop when he rounded the corner, finally coming face to face with the other Hollow Slayer operating at this time of night. He arrived just in time to see Kaze scream in laughter and shout that the Hollows should die like insects, only to run through them like they were a loose grouping of leaves in the wind. Blood spattered everywhere as a fine mist of the red liquid settled on the ground, mixing with the falling snow. Kazura could see a trail of destruction caused by this being, who he could now sense as a Mod Soul. There was a giant hole in the ground where he had apparently dove downwards through the earth, as well as multiple scars across the sidewalk and street.

Hopefully this Mod Soul wasn't completely feral... Takara would be one person who would love to meet up with him. She considered herself Queen of the Mod Souls, after all. So, Kazura addressed Kaze informally, though he did so from a distance in case he had to protect himself. "Hey, man! Nice work on those Hollows. More are coming than I expected, so the help is appreciated! If left unchecked, these things hurt innocent people. My name is Batman. And your name?" It was a lame alias, completely stolen from the comic books, but who was Kazura kidding? He was eerily like Batman... Almost as if someone had designed his life that way...

Kazura shook off that chilling thought and moved on. He didn't believe in God, not when he knew what the afterlife really was like. Well, to be honest he'd never been there, but it wasn't a big mystery anymore. Life continued after death, then cycled around. When he died, Kazura knew where he was going. And it was not to be with any God, it was to get back into the fight, just from a different and more "legal" angle. If Kazura didn't like life so much, he might as well just go and fling himself into the arms of Death to find himself in the Soul Society. There he could be less pestered by the Shinigami. He'd be on their side.

But that wasn't something to think about at this point in time. No, right now there was a potentially bloodthirsty Mod Soul and a thrill seeking Fullbringer just meters away from each other. And with their spiritual presence all focused into one area now, instead of two, the hollows were starting to also focus in just one area. A coliseum match was about to begin, with Kazura and Kaze playing the underdog roles. But this time, the dog has fangs. And weapons. Very shiny weapons. There was a calm in the storm before the hollows descended, so hopefully Kazura and Kaze could find some common ground before they were mobbed.

[Jikken Kaze]

"[smear:#ff0000]Come.... on.... there.[/smear:#417C64]" This was getting out of hand. There were far too many hollows to be considered normal, even in a place like Karakura. It was getting hard to reign Jikken back in. If any more of these things showed up, he might have to just let him out and hope for the best. Kaze violently shook his head at that. "No. No, that's plan B. Lets just try to-" "Hey man!" He was interrupted by a voice off to the side. "...avoid people." He finished, with a large sweat drop forming on the side of his head, letting it drop before turning to face the supposed human.

A scant few feet were between the two men. Kaze gave the man an appraising eye, examining the man as he spoke. The man was roughly his height, though that could be because of his shoe advantage. As for the rest of him, he was fairly average by human standards. Brown hair, brown eyes, dressed casually, not at all suited to the sudden change in temperature. The only reason that the mod soul would have any reason to suspect that this man was spiritually aware, was the fact that he was talking about hollows. As if he didn't know what they were; he was designed to war against them, he knows them better than most shinigami.

In spite of this man's lack of weather appropriate clothing, Kaze was ever farther away from the norm than this man, Batman as his name was. Kaze was dressed in only two articles of clothing. The first being an extremely baggy pair of pants, and an equally loose hoody, with their colors being brown and gray respectively. His style may have lacked... style, but it was his own. Plus, the cold never bothered him anyway. So, giving the man a big dopey grin and pointing his thumb, he introduced himself. "Hello Batman, I'm Jikken Kaze, and I'm the Titan of the wind!" He said, not sounding the least bit sarcastic when saying either name. Only implying that that was his name.

While the mod soul has been around for a few good many months, he had never gotten the chance to learn about anything this world had to other, aside from all of the violence, and the freedom. And with only that, Kaze had been content with only that. He also lacked the means to interact with anything else, lacking any form of communication skills besides Japanese, so comic icons like Batman were beyond him. His demeanor changed dramatically, from mirthful to emotionless in an instant. "And I don't suppose you would know anything about all these hollows attacking out of nowhere, hmm?" He said, lowering his thumb slowly over his question.

He was glaring at the man from behind his hair. He was about to continue, when he was interrupted yet again, this time, by the roars of a good many hollows hollows. He'd say, maybe, less than a hundred. The two were surrounded, the sound came from all sides. He looked around, trying to find a source, before glaring at Batman once again. "This isn't over Batman." The monsters were atop the rooves now, and Jikken was getting harder to suppress. Jikken was the name of this cursed programming that those worthless shingami gave him. It was activated in both the presence of hollows, or under emotional duress.

The issue with this is, this program was semi sentient. While not as complex as Kaze was, a true feat of shinigami technology, Jikken was still leagues above any animal. It could process things to the same degree as a human, but couldn't act outside was it was made to do. "I'll give you one warning human." He told Batman, as he faced his half of the hollows. "Don't approach me in combat. I'll try my hardest to kill you if you do." His wind armor shuddered at that. Unknown to the human, Kaze's eyes started glowing red, as he roared, charging at a few dozen hollows. Things were about to crash on this fake winter's night.

The first was was seven hollows, as they all flew straight at the enraged mod soul, each intent on being his downfall. They should have brought eight. The first beast was large, towering over Jikken, as it swung a mighty fist in attempts to kill him. Glaring with determined eyes, the program flung itself into the arm for a collision course for the punch. The arm was ripped apart almost instantly, as his armor was determined not to let anything harm its user. The monster reeled back from the unexpected loss of its limb, when an armored fist plunged into the skull of the beast, spraying more blood and gore into the air.

"All shall perish!" After silencing the first, he immediately set his sights of the remaining six, floating in mid air from where he had killed the big one. Three of them, all smaller than the first, but still far bigger than a human, lunged towards the man. Jikken grinned and evil smile. Not even bothering to move, he allowed the first one to hit him in the chest, while the other two aimed for different targets. The one to his left swung a mighty claw, intent on slicing into his head. The one on his right swung a claw at his legs, trying to disable him if he survived the other attacks.

Poor, foolish hollows.

The middle one, like many others, simply fell into his chest, as the rest of him fell apart around him, completely unhindered. He began laughing as he heard the side ones scream out in agony. Much like anything else that came in contact with his armor, the claws were cut so many times, they became more dust for the air. In fact, all the blood was starting to dye the air red, as well as the snow on the ground. It was an interesting sight to behold, all the red snowflakes, falling to the Earth, just like the hollow bodies, as the hollow reshi fought against the tainted flakes.

But such a horror was beyond the combat program. He knew only the joy of battle. Going for the downed hollow to his left, he flew towards it at speeds that out striped any human. Well, and normal human anyway. As he touched down on the hollow, he didn't even bother to lash out with his fists. There was no point, and the armor erased the entire upper half of the hollow's body. Looking towards the remaining five, he saw that they were extremely weary of getting any closer towards the raging mod soul. Growling in frustration, he found it was time to bring the fight to them. "Your blood shall litter the air cowards! I shall show you no remorse worms!"

While the program was indeed fast, he was nowhere near fast enough to catch all five of these hollows before the managed to escape via garganta or what not, even with his armor increasing his speed, he was just too slow. Luckily, he had ways to compensate for that little hiccup, with a little ability , simply known as... "Caelumintro." He spoke, grinning just as darkly as before. Taking one step towards the hollow that had attacked his legs, he flashed over there nigh instantly, spraying another fine mist into the air. So much blood all around him, it was getting harder to see, despite being untouched by the liquid.

The remaining hollows were quick to retreat, trying desperately to escape this world via garganta. So desperate, the didn't even notice they were all in a very neat row. Which Jikken used to run the four through mercilessly. The whole fight had taken little over ten seconds. To an outside viewer, Batman, it would just look like a large cloud of red mist, with shadowed figures inside. Screams of hunger, quickly turn to cries of pain, only to be silenced, and replaced with a deep, crazed laughter.

But for Jikken, even after killing nearly twenty hollows, it wasn't enough. "More...." He whispered to the night. "I... need.... MORE!" His armor spun faster, drawing the bloody mist to himself. If there was any weakness that his armor had, it was the fact that stealth was never an option. His armor was like a beacon for the spiritually aware. Anything that had even the tiniest amount of talent for sensing energy could sense him while using it. So, with the energy his armor was giving off, he himself letting out his gravitational pressure, and the hollow bait, it was beginning to call forth even more undead beasts to fight. "Gaze upon the curse the shinigami have unleashed upon the world! The streets shall run red, and it shall be on their heads!" He cried, as another group of hollows entered Karakura.

All the blood in the air had instantly collapsed to the earth in a loud splat, flooding the streets in a river of blood, reaching all the way out to the human who had approached him minutes ago. Not wanting to scare off the new batch of hollows, he withdrew the pressure that was crushing the world around him. With his vision, and his visage, finally returning, he eyed his new prey hungrly. He could always do what he did for the last eight and kill them all.... no. No that wouldn't do at all. He'd only do that for if any of them tried to escape. He wanted to have fun with his fifty new playthings.

As the immediate threat of hollows subsided, the angry Mod Soul calmed down slightly. The anger faded from his voice as he slew the last hollow in the immediate area and could no longer see any more enemies around the two combatants. As he calmed down, the swirling winds around his body faded so that Kazura could get a good look at him. Kaze was definitely not dressed for the winter wonderland that the Fullbringer had created.

The baggy pants and unzipped hoodie were letting a ton of cold air in, but the man didn't seem to care. With a complete change in personality from the rage demon of murder that he had been acting like before, Kaze put on a goofy grin while introducing himself as the Titan of the Wind. He truly believed that he was a titan, as his self-given epithet was spoken completely seriously. Kazura was fine with that, understood it even. He called himself Batman, after all. He couldn't judge anyone's nickname if he referred to himself as a comic book character.

Jikken accused the fullbringer of drawing in these hollows, and it was spot on. Kazura had drawn in the beasts, but had not expected the sheer number of monsters that would be attracted to the town. It already had an extremely high spiritual presence, so what was some spiritual snow going to do? Apparently a lot. The CEO was starting to get a little worried, though. His actions had created a lot of attention, and he was sure that Shinigami would be arriving soon. Though, they had made habits of being extremely late to these things.

Just when Kazura was about to respond to the accusation, the two were interrupted by scores of Hollows suddenly announcing that they had arrived and that the Fullbringer and Mod Soul were surrounded. It was time to fight again, but this time, Kazura's weapons alone weren't going to be a match for the sheer number of enemies. Jikken's angry voice returned, as he lurched at enemies with a bloodlust. In mere second he had taken down almost ten enemies of the near hundred that were around. Impressed, Kazura felt that he should not be outdone.

A burst of reiatsu signaled Kazura's release of his Secondary fullbring. His arm turned from flesh into titanium as the released fullbring took form. The gauntlet that he had been wielding had a basic air cannon and laser claws, which was now much better at cutting as his release powered the lasers. This release attracted attention of multiple enemies who charged at him. He could count three big enemies, which was not as much as had attacked the Mod soul. Frustrated, slightly, that his release could barely attract half the enemies, Kazura went to work.

The first Hollow was fast, with weird springs for legs. He jumped at Kazura with a burst of speed that could rival a race car. His face met fist as the fullbringer calculated the trajectory in an instant and put his hand in the way. The claws on his hand might not have been as destructive as Kaze's wind armor, but they still managed to sever the hollow into ribbons that disappeared into the night air as the flesh fell apart. The other two Hollows hesitated for a moment, showing a little more tactics than a blind charge, and opened their mouths wide even from a distance.

The cero blast was something that Kazura had seen a few times before, so he was ready for it when he could see the red reiatsu charging in their gaping mouths. His bringer light took him behind the pair, well, behind one of them. One of the two was unlucky enough to have Kazura's claws dragged through his face as he moved at mach speeds. The unlucky Hollow died without its cero being fired. The second one was able to fire it, but Kazura was already behind it, claws stabbing through the back of its head into the white mask, shattering it.

3 defeated hollows in a few seconds wasn't a number to laugh at, but it hadn't reached or even come close to Jikken's kill count. So, Kazura unleashed the hidden part of his Secondary fullbring. A cloud of robots poured out of his gauntlet, directed at a nearby street light. The robots ate through the metal in moments before bringing it back to Kazura. He directed them to shape the metal that they had obtained into small compact balls, which they did effortlessly. Twenty balls in total were fashioned out of a chunk of the street light. The nanobots then were directed inside the balls and given the simple command Seek out and impale any white masks of Hollows you can find.

The balls whizzed off, all headed for Hollow masks. They were moving at 300 speed, so they weren't particularly slow or anything. The slowest hollows were downed quickly by the flying metal balls, while the quicker and smarter ones took to running away. The fastest ones weren't threatened at all by the metal, but Kazura could use Bringer light, so if he needed to get a fleeing hollow taken care of, he could effortlessly increase his speed to catch them and take them down. But for now, he would rather pay attention to Kaze. The mod soul intrigued him, and he wanted to see more of what he was capable of.

"YES! MORE! GIVE ME MORE!" There was no way to describe what Jikken was feeling. The word that came the closest though, would have to be, bitter satisfaction. "Die, DIE DIE!" The program cried, as he threw himself towards the near-mindless hollows with reckless abandon. The look on his face was that of empty pleasure, and yearning. No matter how many he attacked, no matter how many he slew, it was as if actually joy, true happiness was just behind the next kill, the next body. But when he finally ended their lives, the joy eludes him. His programing taunts him, makes him look for the happiness. So he kills, and kills. Trying to get that last bit of satisfaction so that he can stop.

But he'll never achieve it.

The group of spirits were split. Both figuratively, and literally, as five hollows charged for the mod soul, as the rest went around those poor souls to surround him. The moment the bloodthirsty Jikken rammed through the first of the wave, the hollows had him. Surrounded by dozens was what a certain bat-like fullbringer would see. It was typical hollow behavior, kill the strong, so they can survive. Since the scarred man had bothered to let loose his spiritual earlier, they flocked to him, trying to consume him for their continued survival, despite the burst of energy the man let out.

Of course, not all of them were focused on Jikken. The spiritual energy the human had unleashed garnered the attention of the half that weren't focused on the lighthouse of energy that the mod soul was putting out on a constant. There were many atop the buildings of the area, crawling out of the inky black voids known as Garganta. Those hollows were focused of dodging the metal death balls that the human had released upon them. Twenty orbs, TWENTY VILE ORBS! The hollows outside of the moshpit were scattered, trying to avoid dying to a man who didn't even bother to pay attention to them.

If the hollows were smart enough to feel hate for the man who created them, they would have it in ten fold for him. The dwindling hollows were doing all they could to avoid them, despite the fruitlessness of such a task. Despite the linear paths the orbs used to attack their targets, most of the hollows couldn't avoid them from the sheer speed that the robotic spheres possessed. Even when the hollows did manage to dodge their attackers, they were left unable to go for the human who created them.

"Screw this, there are easier meals to find!" One of the more intelligent hollows cried out in frustration after dodging yet another death ball. Other hollows in the area quickly agreed with him, and made to find less lethal targets. Five hollows turned around, preparing to flee with their unlives in tact. Unfortunately for them, their attempt was met with with two large sliding doors, with the upper halves of them seemingly made of rice paper. "...oh s***..." Uttered the smart hollow, as the doors slid open, revealing three grim-looking shinigami to the world of the living.

Before the fearful hollows could react, the first three hollows were killed, their masks split in twain. The side hollows were dealt with equally quickly. "Yono, Kalin, you know the drill, damages and casualties to a minimum." The group leader told the two. She was Alin, fourth seat of squad three. She stood at 5'5, with dark green hair, that covered the entire right half of her face, including one of her dark red eyes. She was a muscular woman, with a dark complexion, wearing the standard shinigami uniform. She was alert, with no small amount of frustration marring her youthful face. She was trying her best to sense for any humans in the area, but this was far more difficult than it should have been, but some odd spiritual pressure was distracting her.

"Yeah, yeah. Kill'em all, don't break stuff, we get it." The ever calm Kalin drawled, from Alin's right. He stood at a proud 6'2, with a slight slouch, and looked to be in his late twenties. He had his grey hair styled to that of the back of a duck, with a worried expression, that he was fruitlessly trying to suppress with a facade of boredom. His pale hand was resting in his pocket, while his right was firmly clutching his sword. Unlike his leader, he was wearing a modified version of his uniform, with form fitting pants.

Yono, standing to the left of Alin, walked over to the edge of the building they had landed on. "He-Hey, guys. I think I-I found the prob-lem." Came the nervous stutter of a pink haired girl. Yono stood the shortest at only 4'9, as well as looked the youngest, at an age around sixteen. A look of panic spread across her face, as she held her sword and partner like a lifeline. She had long pink hair, with deep blue eyes, watching in horror of the scene below her. She wore the standard uniform, with the only modification being pink hearts, running down both her arms and legs.

Upon hearing her teammates comment, she and Kalin walked over to her. He male of the trio let out a low whistle. "I was wondering why they bothered to send three of us. Guess I got my answer." Although he kind of wished he hadn't. The street below them was a nightmare for any shinigami to view. Blood coated the street, what little they could actually see anyway. Hollows were everywhere down there. A good many were running from floating metal balls, but the majority were in a huge mosh pit, trying to kill whatever unfortunate soul that managed to get stuck in the center.

"Whatever's down there, it's confusing my senses. Like trying to spot the stars past a flare." She half winced, half glared at the offending soul, only able to hear roars from both man and hollows alike. "I spy a human. Does he count as a star?" Kalin remarked sarcastically, pointing to a spot away from the cluster f*** of hollows. She glanced over to where he was pointing. True to his word, a slightly plain looking man, stood, watching the carnage from a distance. Pushing the limits of her sixth sense, she was able to, if just barely, sense the connection between the man and the hollow slaying orbs.

"I... I th-think I r-recognize him. He-his name i-is Kazura U-Uzaki. He's th-the leader of Uzaki enterprises!" She explained, remembering his face from a file in the squad three barracks. As higher seats of squad three, it was their jobs to know certain things. Like the names and faces of strong fullbringers that might happen to be in the area, and their threat level. Thank goodness Uzaki san was at a low, due to the deal he had with the shinigami. "Lets move." Alin said, choosing to ignore Kalin's smirking face for the time being. Work now, beating him up, later.

Utilizing their shunpo, the leader Alin landed a healthy distance from the man, a whole ten feet, as not to startle the fullbringer, while the other two went to help slay some of the hollows in the area. The threat from the fullbringer might be low, but there was a reason he was the top of an army of fullbringers, especially with the reports of a few of his subordinates. So she was looking at someone who could give their captain a run for their money. She approached him with sword drawn, but only because of the situation at hand, hoping he would understand.


Meanwhile, Jikken was in a rage. Roaring in anger, he swung, and lashed at any and every life form that got too close. "DON'T DIE SO QUICKLY!" He yells, as his hand passes through another hollow skull. 'He really shouldn't be able to kill them this easy.' Kaze idly thought, only catching bits and pieces of what was happening. 'Maybe because they're all falling into him to attack?' He didn't give it too much thought, it might distract Jikken, and he didn't want to get into a fight with him in the middle of a situation like this. Not to mention that leaving it to him meant that he himself didn't have to kill anything today.

But in spite of that though, he was worried. The longer this went on, the less likely it was that Jikken would switch over when the battle ended. 'Oh well, I'll deal with it when it comes. HEY, WOULD YOU HURRY IT UP ALREADY!?'[/color] Kaze yelled to Jikken. The program flinched, letting two sets of claws and a hungry mouth strike his armor. The quickly added to the dust in the air. Jikken glared, knowing who that voice was. "DIE OR BE SILENT!" He roared, returning to his duties. Kaze just huffed in the back of his mind.


Away from the pile, Kalin and Yono were helping to thin out the hollow population that Kazura's release couldn't catch. Needless to say, they weren't doing all that much. "So," Kalin asked. "Ladies first?" He and Yono were staring at the back of one of the hollows at the edge of the group, debating on how to approach this, standing farther than they needed to. "N-no, I i-insist, be m-my guest." Neither one of them wanting to go in, fearful of getting attacked by a wave of ghosts the moment they do. "We're not bad at our jobs, right?" He asks Yono. "N-nope." She stutters in response.
