TTP Training
These past couple of weeks had been...something else entirely. For the reptile whom had spent most of his life hidden below the surface of that Rukongai lake, secluded away from the rest of the world. He believed himself safe, secure, able to live in peace aside from the few times a Hollow tried to trespass. But everything had changed when she appeared. That otter who had appeared within his world, whisking him away from his lake and into a world unseen. At first, Umaroth knew only fear and apprehension. The otter that had entered his lake had dominated him, making a fool out of the proud reptile. She had shown him just how weak he was. For him it had been a battle, one that he fought with all his strength, but to her it was just a game. A tussle with a child.
So Umaroth followed the otter on the promise of strength and glory. He knew that if he allowed her to lead him he would learn, he would grow. It was a chance to improve, one that he had no choice but to take. So he followed her, being lead to a massive creature that he would to learn was both a method of transportation and a refuge. Inside, Umaroth was exposed to a new world. A home built inside of the creature, a home for outcasts like him.
Meeting the crew had been an experience worth mentioning. Sure, there were looks given to Umaroth and Ajraka given the fact they both looked rather torn up, but they were welcoming it seems. Living aboard the ship was something different, that was for sure. Being around so many new faces, so many entities belonging to different races, was different. It wasn't long until the first incident had started. Umaroths goal aboard the ship was to both learn and find a place he belonged, but some of the crew had forgotten that Umaroth was still a animal.
It soon became known that the reptile had a reputation. He was a fighter, something that spread like wildfire within the Gillianship. As one would expect, Umaroth began to get in quite a few fights aboard the living vessel though not a single one ended in tragedy. Perhaps this was because he was far more intelligent now than he was when he first stepped foot into the vessel. Being around others was, despite the fighting, a good thing for the lizard. He had begun to learn, how to act in certain situations. He still had his hiccups, his feral side coming out far more often than it should. Plus, he was still prideful and aggressive.
Only to the Captain did he calm himself down. She was the closest one to him within the Gillianship. She was his Captain, after all, and he trusted her the most. It would take time for him to trust all of the crew, or to truly become used to them, but the best way for it to happen was to let Umaroth do his own thing...to a certain degree. As of right now, one of those incidents was occurring right now within the Gillianships mess hall. Newcomers would have to try and push themselves past the formed ring of crew members, all watching the spectacle going on in the center of the room
It wasn't a rare occurrence at this point. Someone would come along and say or do the wrong thing to the greenhorn Beast Clan. It was now known that Umaroth had a temper, and was not afraid of jumping on someone who pissed him off. It was such a good day too, though onlookers could get the pleasure of watching the fight. How had it started? From the earlier viewers descriptions, Umaroth had been in the mess hall eating his meal before his soon-to-be opponent had arrived. What had started the fight was when the new arrival had tried to take Umaroths food.
Apparently, the guy was new to the crew. A random stray recently picked up from the outside world. He was a newly created Arrancar and had a pride that could rival the reptiles. Long story short, it was Umaroth who had struck first. It should have been common sense to not try to take an animals food away. But, sometimes common sense was learned and not obvious. So now here it was, the ring of onlookers surrounding the two. The battle in the mess hall was just beginning.
--------
Lips pulled back to display an entire mouthful of razor sharp teeth. Bright blue eyes locked onto the individual across the room, pupils narrowed down to thin slits. The reptile was pissed. The feathers along his skull were straight up, a symbol of his anger and excitement. A growl capable of silencing any speech or whispers in the room escaped from his throat, a vocal challenge to the man who had made the mistake of trying to take Umaroths fish. It was a delicacy here, a meal that was rarely served to anyone but the Captain. Umaroth had been lucky enough to get himself a fish and not that disgusting gruel that he was normally served.
He had been enjoying his meal, only for it to be ruined when a sudden hand had tried to pull it away from him. His instincts had caused him to suddenly grab onto the Arrancars arm, and then throw him over the table. That was how the fight had begun, at least. The two now stood in the center of the room, eyeing each other. It was obvious that Umaroth was the angrier of the two. The Arrancar just didn't realize it at the time. "I say, you don't quite realize the situation you're in now...you damn dirty lizard." the white haired Arrancar stated, the sound of fingers being cracked in his left hand could be heard.
Umaroth let out another growl, followed by him suddenly lunging. Sharp claws dug into the floor of the Gillianship, launching him directly towards the obnoxious Arrancar. A look of surprise covered his face as he finally realized Umaroth had moved. A hard fist slammed itself into the Arrancars stomach. The force of that strike sent the Arrancar off the ground, levitating him a few inches high. Mouth agape as his body began to try and eject the contents of his stomach.
But the reptile wasn't finished. As the Arrancar came back down on his feet Umaroth connected a left hook straight into his cheek, sending out a satisfying smack that filled the room. The man hit the floor, bouncing just slightly from the impact. There were a few whispers from the crew, one of which being "Someone should go get the Captain.." followed by someone heading down one of the organic halls towards the Captains quarters. Umaroth growled, casting a glare back down onto the Arrancar. Had he really done down so easily? Was he weak? Or...had Umaroth gotten stronger?
The reptile turned, deciding to go ahead and tell the Captain what had happened before she found by someone else. He began to walk towards the ring of onlookers, until a noise behind him caused him to stop. "Is that all?" A growl began to escape from Umaroths throat as he turned back around, locking his eyes on the recovered Arrancar. Rubbing his cheek, a smirk painted itself across his face. "That the best you got...tuna breath?"
