The Preposal of Employment {Social}

Well something interesting had happened about three days ago. Asmoskon had received a letter from an unknown man by the name of Zackary Jensen. Asmoskon knew the name yet at first couldn't think of where or how he knew of him. The letter spoke of a meeting that the man wished to set up between the two of them so that they could talk. It appeared that Xcution one of the few organizations that Asmoskon knew of located in the human world was interested in speaking with him and Zackary was the spokesperson.

He had found out from Water Tower that Mr.Jensen was a famous assassin and a Fullbringer. He had an incredible record that left little in detail due to how extreme the assignments he had been put under actually were. Even after his partner had broken into Xcution's system to just grab more information on the man he found nothing new. Which meant that Xcution wasn't playing around with him and weren't keeping anything secret.

Either way he was now in a coffee/tea shop in Rome awaiting the arrival of the other man. Asmoskon sat in a chair next to the wide window with a cup of brown coffee in front of him. He was reading from a black book with Japanese writing on the spine. If someone were to look closely enough they might be able to tell that the book was actually a folio and had several strands of black thread attached that would wrap it closed when not in use.

Other then that Asmoskon was wearing his normal attire. The black coat was on the back of his chair causing most of his tattoos to be completely revealed. Even the black cross necklace was around his neck and laid over the massive tattoo on his throat and collar bones. Asmoskon couldn't help, but catch the strange looks that everyone seemed to give him. If tattoos weren't enough missing an eye certainly got everyone's attention and not in a good way.

"Pardon my tardiness." A sudden and unexpected voice behind Asmokon said. In his left peripheral vision a figure would walk by him, pulling the opposite chair out from the table and gently sitting down. The man was suited in gray, hair and eyes of a similar color. The man looked rather tired, simply taking a breath as he sat down and then giving his attention to Asmokon. "I'm sorry, I know that there was a scheduled time and I'm a few minutes late. Traffic in Rome isn't the best this time of year, I'm sure you know. Plus I'm rather jet lagged from coming back from Africa." The man explained, giving Asmokon a simple, friendly smile.

A waiter approached, the same that had taken Asmokons order, and asked Zack if he would like anything to drink. "Coffee, if you would. Black, no cream." Zack replied, to which the waiter nodded and began to back away. Jensen then turned his attention back to Asmokon, but in reality the Quincy had never left his focus. Yes, Zack was aware of what exactly Asmokon was. But unlike Bount Zack had no ill harbor towards Quincy. Fullbringers and Quincy were rather alike, both a rare group of Humans who possessed unique abilities. Though the acquisition of such abilities was drastically different between the two.

"Well, I have no doubt that you know who I am Mr. Masurao. But I still want to introduce myself, it's only polite. Call me Mr. Jensen, and no, that's not a fake name." Zack spoke, just as the waiter returned with a steaming cup of black coffee. Zack thanked him, watching as the waiter stepped away. Jensen took a sip, savoring the bitter hot taste as it awoke him a little. Jensen was definitely exhausted. That mission in Africa was unreal, something the Assassin needed at least a week off for to recover from. But on the way back he figured he could take care of this here and now.

"So, Mr. Masurao, I'm sure you have questions. Some of which I would be happy to answer, but right now there is something a little more pressing that I need to ask you." There was something in his voice. While Zack continued to give off that relaxing, friendly demeanor there was something in his voice. Asmokon might even feel it. A sensation similar to that of a knife against his neck. Even with Zacks friendly voice, the seriousness was coming through. "We're well aware of what you are, Mr. Masurao. So, I simply need to get this out of the way right now. Your opinion on the Vandenreich, what is it?"

The words spoken from one character in a novel to another always seemed to be so much different then how they actually happened in real life. Asmoskon was content for the time being reading from the black folio, but he wouldn't wait forever even for someone like Zack. Luckily his patience was rewarded a few moments later as a voice spoke from behind him and he could assume that it was directed at him due to the manner it which it was said and the fact that Zack was a few minutes late to the meeting Asmoskon had been called too.

Asmoskon's left eye instantly began to survey the man taking notice of how much grey the man wore and the fact that it matched his own appearance quite well. The Quincy wasn't one to judge someone on the color of their choice especially considering that everything he wore was black and matched him in the same manner as who he believed to be Zack. Asmoskon could tell by glancing over the man's eyes that he had most likely be deprived of sleep if not the previous night then in the last few that had past.

As Zack gave his reasoning for why he had been running a few minutes late Asmoskon marked the page that he had been reading from and closed the folio and wrapped the black threads around making sure that it would bound shut. Moving the folio from in front of him to the right pocket of his black coat Asmoskon gave a nod to Zack implying that he understand where the man was coming from. It was then that Zack spoke again calling Asmoskon by his surname which gave off the truly formal tension of this meting.

As the waiter came back with the coffee that Zack had ordered Asmoskon mirrored the same motion as the ambassador of Xcution by drinking from his cup savoring the sweat taste then placing it back down on the coaster. It was then that the aura emanating from Zack shifted and Asmoskon could tell that he was moving forward with whatever reason this meeting had been organized. He clearly knew that Asmoskon was a Quincy which he already suspected and wasn't surprised about. What he wasn't sure about was if he knew how much he had shifted into the field of mercenary work, but he thought if any humans would know then Zack would be one of them due to the field being his own as well.

That made a freighting thought creep into Asmoskon's head though. That Bount he had fought a few weeks ago had claimed that someone in the field of work that they all did had hired him to take out Asmoskon. The Quincy was pondering whether or not Zack had been the client and made sure to bring up his question after Zack finished. What he asked though Asmoskon would have thought was painfully obvious especially if Zack had taken time to read over anything about him.

Asmoskon crossed his arms over his chest and stared at Zack from across the small table for a few moments then leaned his head back knowing that the answer could only be voiced one way from his soul. "The Vanenreich Empire, Mr. Jensen is a blight upon my race. The one they claim to be Emperor has led my race to near extinction through arrogance and uncaring actions which led so many of my kind to death when it wasn't needed. The Vanenreich is something that I plan to purge from existence in order to bring my race back from the grasp of a blind man's control." Zack would easily be able to tell that every word uttered had been completely true and that Asmoskon wasn't hiding anything at all from him on his views.

"Now if you wouldn't mind Mr. Jensen I have a question as well. A few weeks ago I was nearly killed by a incredible mercenary who claimed that he had been hired to snuff me out due to my rise in the field as of late. I'm simply curious if it was you who sent the Bount known as Anarchy to deal with me." Asmoskon was speaking in a formal manner the same way as Zack trying his best to keep his emotions in check and to avoid whatever might result in a battle between the both of them.

Zack was quiet. He was far too quiet. It was a silence that would unsettle anyone, the sort of silence before the headsmans axe came falling down. Zacks eyes gave the impression of exhaustion, of someone who had not rested his head upon a soft pillow in ages, but there was a tenseness in those eyes that were real hidden. The Assassin listened as Asmokon explained his opinion on the Vandenreich, seeing them for what they were a bunch of suicidal zealots led by a madman. Quincy where, for all intents and purposes, a danger to the balance of the spiritual world. Xcution was well aware of the effect that Quincy could have as well as the fact that Quincy could very well destroy the entire world. It was this Assassins opinion that the number of living Quincy should be limited plus the work that involved them be anything but Hollow related.

Regardless of his opinion Zack harbored no ill will to the Quincy. They had suffered quite enough in recent times. Zack was to ponder what Asmokon had said when the Quincy had suddenly asked him a very direct question, one that caught the mans immediate attention. Narrowed eyes looked back at Asmokon, before the Assassin raised his hand to his face in a state of thinking. "A Bount named Anarchy you say? No, I'm unaware of any such Bount within the Organization I belong to. I've only met one Bount myself, one that identified itself as Arthur Pendragon, the same one from the legends. To answer your question though, no. There is no Bount named Anarchy within our ranks, but I will be sure to check myself once I'm fully able to." Zack answered, lowering his hand. Grasping ahold of his coffee he lifted the cup, taking a drink.

He sighed, putting it back down. A moment of silence between the two before Zack spoke again, choosing his words very carefully. "I was already aware of your opinion on the Vandenreich, due to the surveillance that was performed on you. Still though, there are some things that are best heard or experienced firsthand rather than read on a paper. Forgive me if I offended you, I just needed to hear it firsthand." Zack apologized, sitting back in his chair. He turned his attention then to the window, gazing out into the world outside. Zack watched as people of various shapes and sizes walked by the window, carrying on with their lives. Many of those people he watched were unaware of the conversation being held inside the cafe, living on in blissful ignorance.

"It's nice this time of year, isn't it? The city, Rome, everything. Despite all the ugly in this world it's the only one we have. Mr. Masurao let me assure you that the Vandenreich are our enemies as well as yours. We're aware of what will happen if the Vandenreich win this war. We're not here to aid the Shinigami in their battle against them. We're waging our own battles against them. We're the rifles aimed at them from the shadows, taking them down whenever they turn their back. Any threat to the world of the living is dealt with by us." Zack explained, returning his gaze to Asmokon. Zack grew silent, content to let Asmokon sit on those words while Zack drank his coffee. The Quincy was free to ask any questions he had at this time.

Asmoskon sat calmly across the table as Zack began to speak about the Bount and how he had no knowledge of him and that no Bount was within Xcution. Asmoskon didn't truly know whether or not to believe Zack yet for the time being it wouldn't make a difference for him to just call that out. He was going to need help in order to tae out Vandenreich even though he hated to admit it Asmoskon knew he wouldn't be able to bring down the entire thing by himself.

Zack spoke about how Xcution didn't work to aid the Shinigami instead only looked out for what is best for the human world itself and the people of it. Asmoskon felt that he could agree to hat statement and felt similar in his own path. Asmoskon didn't care what befell Soul Society at this point the only thing he truly cared about was wiping the stain off his race. Finishing up the cup of coffee that he had ordered just as Zack finished speaking Asmoskon thought over everything.

After a few moments the right hand of the Quincy reached halfway across the table. "Alright. Consider me on board then Mr. Jensen." Asmoskon knew that he had to be formal right now and that both he and Zack preferred this meeting be brief. He would think Zack only truly wished for sleep to claim him right now and Asmoskon couldn't blame him for that knowing first hand how that felt. In his perceptive he just wanted to get on with work.
