Location: Within the streets of a dimly lit city during the night time. Everyone has gone home and there are no cars passing through at this time of night.


Special Conditions: Asmoskon has the first post. Any items owned by either participant are allowed.
Circumstances: A hit has been placed on Asmoskon's head. A rival mercenary wants the young Quincy dead for his up and coming success in the world of mercenary work. The rival has paid good money to another rather powerful mercenary, known throughout the underworld only as Anarchy. Only a mercenary with his kind of skill can get a job like this done. His last big score before he disappears forever. Let the Hunter become the Hunted.

The last few weeks led to nothing but disappointment and slight monetary gain that never seemed to be enough. Of course there was always another job though, but nothing was a challenge right now it all seemed so boring to Asmoskon. It had been weeks since he had been hired to take care of something remotely difficult. He had been sent all across the world in the weeks and at this point that was no longer anything different either. He would just spend his time on planes reading up on his targets who right now had barely enough power to rival a basic hollow.

Deciding that he wasn't going to be claimed by the void of slumber Asmoskon sat up from the hotel bed. The college student next to him shifted in her sleep gently as he stood from the white sheets. The souls of his bare feet touched against the cool wooden floor as he lifted himself from the bed and began to walk towards the window. Looking outwards up at the moon Asmoskon's left eye remained stern. "I've got to find something better."

All he had done in the last few weeks was take out multiple human targets and the hired guns that protected them from normal occupancies. That was just boring for him now even when he was outnumbered the advantages he possessed over natural humans made it far to one sided. Other then that he had killed three different Fullbringers a single Quincy and made sure that a certain Espada received a message by his Fraccion returning with holes throughout her body. Yet still nothing was challenging enough to grip his attention which made his skin crawl right now for something to do.

Asmoskon had decided that the town he was in now wouldn't hold him till morning when the plane was scheduled to leave. He had done his assignment earlier in the day and that was it. He had even taken the time to relax a bit yet now it seemed like it was a waste of his time to simply waste his attention on another whore. The bitch still lingered in his mind and that was all it took to throw him from a ledge of depress even further into the abyss that had claimed him.

He had dressed and left the college girl in the hotel room where she would awake to find him gone in the morning. Now he was leaving the hotel in the middle of the night and saw that there were no cars of vehicles whatsoever in the immediate area. "Damn it" walking down the street Asmoskon pondered getting another motorcycle with some of the money he had accumulated yet wasn't sure it'd be worth it with all of his traveling.

As he walked down the street though Asmoskon sensed a reiatsu that seemed oh so familiar. It wasn't one that he knew specifically no he didn't have the talent for that yet he knew what type of reiatsu that it belonged too. It was a rare race one that Asmoskon hadn't had the pleasure of defeating yet due to the rarity. There was a Bount in the town yet why he didn't know. Perhaps his name had grown to large and now he was a target he had learned that the hard way already and was never going to let it claim him.

The reiatsu though wasn't far and Asmoskon knew that this Bount was most likely watching him. Making his way to the middle of the street with multiple light posts light around to give the area some type of field of sight Asmoskon stood with his arms in his coat pockets. "Come on out whoever you are I'm not patient." Asmoskon would await the appearance of this Bount yet if anything that seemed like an attack came first the Quincy wouldn't hesitate.

"Ohhh, is that so?"

The voice that cut through the darkness of that dimly lit street was foreboding. It wasn't human at all but rather more robotic and synthesized in nature. It was creepy to say the least to hear that voice. The voice that cut through the darkness was sudden, and unexpected. The words that were spoken echoed through the darkness, the sound carrying all the way to the Quincy's ears. The words spoken by that voice hung in the air, placing a sort of emphasis on that whole moment. It created more tension and dread than was necessary. The words echoed, and then the echoes were replaced by a silence that washed over that entire street.

Click clack. Click clack. The sound of footsteps broke through the silence, getting closer and closer to the Quincy. The figure was approaching. The footsteps, which seemed to belong to the voice that had spoken, grew louder and louder with every step. Each step was like a funeral march to the Quincy. A beacon to his doom. A signal for the impending danger that was about to come upon him. The footsteps were all that could be heard in that intense silence, walking towards the Quincy who stood under those lights. Each step bringing with it more and more dread and apprehension as to what exactly was approaching.

The light from the street lamps came to shine first on the black boots. Click clack. Click clack. The figure steadily approached, drawing nearer and nearer to the mercenary Quincy. Each step brought the figure closer to the light, closer to safety. Out of the darkness the figure stepped, his black boots leading the way. "I wonder, how exactly did you sense me?" The voice that spoke once again could be heard more clearly. It was not human in nature, as Asmoskon could tell now that it was closer. It was murky, gurgled almost as if the figure was speaking while submerged in water. It wasn't even certain whether or not it belonged to a male or female. It was quite foreboding indeed. And yet, the figure stepped closer, but in doing so, Asmoskon would come to sense that something was off. Whereas before he had been able to sense the figure's presence, now being closer, he would sense nothing at all. As the figure approached more closely, Asmoskon would find that he could sense nothing coming from this dark figure. There was only a space of nothingness when he extended his energy sensory capabilities.

Soon, the light came to fall upon the rest of the figure, casting it fully into the light. The black cloak the figure wore, which shrouded the mysterious being completely, became visible. And as the figure approached further, the black cloak could be seen to have a hood that covered the head and shrouded it in further shadows. As the shadows were cast out by the light of that street lamp Asmoskon stood under, the Quincy would catch a glimpse of the figure's face. Well, not a face exactly. For what he saw underneath the shadows of the hood was only white. A featureless white mask with a large red letter 'A' carved into the forehead, encircled by an equally large red circle. Within the eyeholes of the mask, the Quincy would find only darkness. The light was not enough to discern what eyes lay beneath the porcelain-like mask. Only darkness gazed back upon Asmoskon from underneath the hood.

"Well, it seems you've caught me." the figure spoke once again, stopping just 10 feet from Asmoskon underneath that streetlamp. The head cocked to the side, as if mocking the Quincy before it. There was a deep sigh from the figure and the head once more returned to its central position as the voice spoke once again, "I suppose you're wondering what this is all about, eh?" There was a silence after the question was asked, to give time for Asmoskon to answer. The figure stared at the Quincy for a few seconds, building the tension before speaking once more. "Some people are a little jealous of your current rise, so they've sent me to clean things up."

Within the black cloak, there was movement. There was movement within the cloak and then the right hand shot out, holding something black within its grasp. "I suppose that since this is the end for you, I'll tell you who I am. You can call me Anarchy." The right hand flicked downwards and the black toy-like object was sent spiraling to the ground. It spun just a few feet from the ground before it was pulled back. Swish. Swish. Swish. Three more times that figure flicked that object, all the while creating huge pauses between each sentence. The apprehension was too great now. Another flick of the wrist sent the object spinning back to the ground and then into the figure's hand to be caught. I apologize for what this seems like, but it's just business." And with that, he attacked. With that, Anarchy launched his right hand forward, but not before pressing a button on the side of the black toy-like object. As it rocketed towards Asmoskon, what was once a small yoyo grew in size to become two large circular disks two feet in width and an inch in height. At first, the large disks didn't seem to pose a threat other than blunt force damage for the Quincy, however, as It moved towards Asmoskon with incredible speed, he would find that blades had now popped out along the sides and would cut him in half if he didn't manage to find a way to dodge the deadly object. Just what was going on?

Item Description: At first, this appears very similar to JJY006. Simple yoyo held together by a 5 meter long steel string. Unlike its predecessor, however, its color is black with a red button on both disks. When these buttons are pressed, the yoyo enlarges to become two giant two feet wide, one inch tall black circular disks. It looks nothing like the yoyo it once was. With a twitch of the string, blades can also pop out along the two thick disks. With a second twitch of the finger, the two disks can split apart for separate attack, connected together by a hidden steel wire between the disks. This one can also be coated in the user's reiatsu strength by giving up 100 reiatsu.

Item Name: JJYAGP02

Item Type: Stealth Gear

Item Description: After studying the Quincy ability to draw in spiritual particles, Gatz was able to design this cloak for Anarchy. The cloak itself reaches down past the knees and is completely black with a hood attached to the back. What makes it special is the property it has. When around someone of a different race, the cloak will draw in the ambient reiatsu of the individual giving off any form of reiatsu and cloak the user in this reiatsu so that the reiatsu signature given off by the user becomes that of the individual giving off reiatsu. If no reiatsu is being given off, the cloak can instead use the stored reiatsu from a previous encounter. While the cloak is active, the user should suppress their own reiatsu or the cloak will not function properly. When it comes to using techniques, only general reiatsu techniques can be used; the reiatsu of a race specific release will overpower the cloak's own reiatsu signature. Only those with an energy sensory of more than 200 can detect the actual reiatsu signature of the user.

Item Name: JJYAGP03

Item Type: Stealth Gear

Item Description: A featureless white mask with only eye holes for the user to see through. The mask itself is made of a durable titanium alloy which is quite strong while remaining light-weight. When exposed to high levels of heat, the titanium alloy retains its strength and does not deteriorate. The only other feature on the mask is a large red 'A' within a red circle. This covers the majority of the mask, centering at the forehead. The bottom part of the 'A' is broken up by the eyeholes and continues underneath them, where it joins the red circle outlining the entire letter. The mask itself allows the user, with a touch of a button along the side to switch between normal vision, infrared vision, night vision, and zoom vision for viewing in greater detail. The mask is also equipped with a voice modifier to change the user's voice and a filter for gases.

The voice had cut through the darkness like a knife through air. It was sharp and held an aura to it that was dark yet demanded attention. Asmoskon had fought against powerful foes prior ones that many wouldn’t have survived against. Now he was the strongest he had ever been. He no longer felt weighed down by the rules that bound him or the guilt and fear or failure. He was truly free the only thing that still bound him was his irritability towards boredom alongside betrayal. This adversary whoever they were was definitely going to push Asmoskon to a new limit.

The words that the Bount spoke had been a response to Asmoskon calling it out from the darkness and to face him. Yet for some reason the darkness seemed to act like cave walls to the actual sound of this Bount’s voice. Those same four words continued to echo over and over again something that caused the eyes brows of the Quincy to descend slightly in annoyance. Then came the sound of this Bount making his way down the street. It was obviously just testing how much patience Asmoskon held by walking so fucking slow yet he had already told it he didn’t have a grand supply of such a useless aspect.

It was then that the left eye of the Quincy caught sight of black boots stepping into the light of one of the street lamps. It wasn’t far away from him and he couldn’t allow himself to simply believe that what he saw right there was the actual location of the Bount. If this entity wanted him dead then there would be more then one way to make those boots appear there and take away the only sight the Quincy hah so for the time being Asmoskon kept his peripheral vision honed so that only on his left side would be able to sneak up on him.

"I wonder, how exactly did you sense me?"

The sound of this voice seemed different now that the darkness wasn’t surrounding it on all sides. It was as if a filter had been removed yet what Asmoskon heard now seemed even less likely to belong to anything he’d ever encountered prior. It was as if someone was drowning and crying out for help. How could something possess that type of voice it didn’t seem correct yet Asmoskon had learned more then a few things about a Bount just off records of prior targets he’d studied. These entities were no longer human nor were they dead this thing was in a state between the two realms of existence and Asmoskon it seems was going to deal with such a thing.

Asmoskon then realized why this creature had uttered the words spoken. There was no reiatsu emanating from his soul there was no reiatsu to this creature. Yet that made no sense whatsoever he had sensed it he felt the potency only a few moments ago now though it was gone as if it never existed. Asmoskon’s gaze only showed a moment of hesitation located in his left eye which then returned to the normal stone sternness. “He’s suppressing his reiatsu somehow. He’s going to use this darkness as some type of advantage against me.” Asmoskon wished now that he had made a clearer scan of the immediate location yet cursed himself for losing his right left.

It was then that Asmoskon saw the full figure or at least the outline of what the body looked like. He still wasn’t completely sure that it was in fact the actual form of this creature yet it seemed that this thing was so confident that it wasn’t going to utilize any tricking assassin like maneuvers to take him out seriously. No it was going to hide behind a black cloak and speak through the water lodged in its throat that would never be coughed back to the surface.

The light though then allowed Asmoskon’s left eye to gaze inside the black hood and witness what living between the planes of existence truly was evidence too. The flesh of this creature seemed half way decayed and pale as paper yet not yellowed like so many of the dead. The eyes didn’t even seem to exist on this thing they were just empty holes which caused a shiver to run through Asmoskon’s own head and down his spine. Lastly the red markings on this creatures face caused both a sense of worry and one of playful confidence.

"Well, it seems you've caught me. I suppose you're wondering what this is all about, eh? Some people are a little jealous of your current rise, so they've sent me to clean things up."

The tilt of this Bount’s head was one that caused Asmoskon’s fingers to twitch slightly in a manner that nearly caused a bow to manifest itself. Those few moments of silence that the Bount had given Asmoskon to fill in the blank the Quincy had only stood with his arms crossed simply because he knew that this entity would most likely fill in the blank itself and it was already obvious what that blank was. It was then that Asmoskon saw slight movement from the arms of this entity and by reflex his arms uncrossed and moved down to the sides.

"I suppose that since this is the end for you, I'll tell you who I am. You can call me Anarchy."

In the next moment Asmoskon saw a small black circular object glide down from the hand on the entity. He wasn’t sure what the hell it was until the object returned upwards into the grasp of this monster. “A Fucking Yoyo. This isn’t going to be easy.” A devilish grin spread across Asmoskon’s face as the yoyo returned to the grasp of the Bount for the second time. He was excited for this fight finally someone that would either push him past his limitations or break him down to a point where he hadn’t been in the last few months.

“I apologize for what this seems like, but it's just business."

In that next moment the yoyo was sent forwards and Asmoskon knew that the Bount was set on taking him out now. As the yoyo split and grew in size Asmoskon lifted his left foot from the ground and bend his body to the right. This resulted in Asmoskon executing two full cartwheels to the side putting five feet between his new location and where he had been standing. He knew that he was still ten feet from the Bount and now almost in the darkness himself for he was on the other side of the street. He knew based on the weapon being a yoyo that evading through distance wasn’t the best thing to do and that right now the weapon if still controlled could be swung around towards him.

As the second cartwheel came to an end with Asmoskon’s right foot touching the surface of the road once again the long black longbow materialized within his left hand. This would come off as perhaps a surprise due to the fact that Asmoskon no longer possessed a right eye and that the shot might be affected by some way due to that lack of anatomy. In less then a full second the bowstring was drawn and released firing off four arrows towards the Bount one for each limb of this creature. “Really because for me this is nothing but pure pleasure.” The grinning quincy spoke as his arrows traveled the distance in the next moment.

Item Name: Arrow Augmenter

Item Type: Quincy Bracelet

Item Description:
This small, black bracelet is typically worn around the wrist one of the user’s hands, the one they use to draw back a bowstring. Although technically it can be used by any race, this item is mostly useful for Quincies, as it allows them to fire individual arrows at a significantly heightened speed. For 75 Reitsu, the Quincy can increase the speed of one arrow they fire this post by a flat 200. This ability can be used a maximum of three times per post, and cannot be used on the same arrow. However, the true power of this item comes with Quincies who know a Movement tech. For the cost of the technique, and an additional 150 reitsu in addition to that, they can increase the speed of one arrow per post by a third of the Movement tech’s speed increase.

"Ohhh, you dodge well..."

Anarchy's robotic voice was heard once again, cutting through the space between the two. His taunt would reach the Quincy's ears as he was in mid-flip. With a simple twitch of his middle finger, the enlarged yoyo came flying back to the Bount mercenary just as quickly as it had flown out. Anarchy had wanted to attack again, but doing so would have injured the Quincy too much. His plan was to drag this out as much as he could. He had never been one to end things so quickly. It wasn't like him to do so at all. Well, unless someone insulted the Bount or him personally. However, since the young Quincy hadn't made any insults to either, he would live a little longer.

Now with the large yoyo once again back in his grasp, he clipped the string onto a hook extending from the armbrace on his wrist before launching off towards the Quincy. As he moved forward, his eyes caught a glimpse of movement from the Quincy's arm. Here comes his attack! Instincts and a strong skill in battle analysis helped him to deduce what would come next. There was no need to see the bow forming in Asmoskon's hand for Anarchy to realize the imminent threat that was coming. While slowing himself, he launched the large yoyo once more, just as the four arrows were launching out towards him. What came next would be quite surprising to the young Quincy.

Rather than sending the large toy-like weapon to attack the young Quincy, the Bount began spinning it before himself. Launched out with incredible strength with help from the armbrace, the large yoyo began whirring in front of the Bount with incredible speed. There was a faint release of reiatsu, an amount that Asmoskon, with his less than average energy sensory, might not even be able to notice while in such heated battle as he was. Either way, with the release of reiatsu, the black yoyo took on a sudden glowing golden aura. It was a faint aura, but it was there nonetheless and forming a large circular golden shield to cover the Bount completely.

The golden shield, which was actually the spinning yoyo coated in the Bount's reiatsu, met the arrows head on and actually deflected them. All four arrows were blasted away by the whirring yoyo coated in the Bount's reiatsu strength and sent in multiple different directions. A few of them were even shattered for even daring to oppose such a powerful reiatsu. This would be quite surprising to the young Quincy, who had no idea at first just what level of power he had been dealing with. After observing such a display, he might begin to realize just how out of his league his opponent was. To shatter even arrows with a simple toy. Anarchy was truly something else.

With those arrows deflected, Anarchy had no more use for the shield-like yoyo trick and instead diverted it into the offensive sword half of the trick. The yoyo launched out once more, but this time it didn't just fly straight at the Quincy. Anarchy had something up his sleeve this time to catch the young Quincy off guard. All it took was a simple twitch of Anarchy's finger, so subtle that it wouldn't even be noticed by the Quincy. When the yoyo reached within two feet of Asmoskon, it split in half. Both disks moved to attack either side of Asmoskon, cutting off his escape to either side. What he didn't know was that there was a thin wire that passed through the center of the two, so thin that it was invisible unless looked at from a certain angle. Only someone with keen enough eyes would be able to discern the thin steel wire that connected the two halves. If he chose to stay there and let the two halves pass by him, he would have to worry about being cut by the thin steel wire cutting off any chances he had of escaping through the middle. He would be cut severely by that thin wire, deep enough to form a very deep slice and draw blood.

"I wonder what you taste like?"

This was said in an attempt to catch the Quincy off guard and derail his escape attempt. Such a statement would be quite surprising coming from this mysterious figure. Given his already creepy entrance and appearance, this would only add more to the dread that the young Quincy would feel for Anarchy. Just what type of person was he fighting against? What exactly had he gotten himself into? Underneath the mask, a toothy smile formed on the face of the Bount posing as the masked mercenary, Anarchy.

Item Name: Wire Launcher Gauntlet

Item Type: Projectile Storage Item

Item Description: The wire launcher gauntlet is a piece of equipment for Jin Yamada. It is a metal silver plated arm brace with the Bount symbol etched onto the side facing away from it's wearer when worn. On the side facing towards the wearer, there is a small circular hole, half an inch in diameter, near the wrist area. A brown leather attachment extends from the wrist up to the wearer's middle and ring fingers, wrapping around them. Inside of the gauntlet, 150 feet of steel wire is spooled 75 times around a thin circular disk on the underside. Release of the wire revolves around a complicated launching mechanism activated by varying movements of Jin's middle and ring fingers. The wire ends in a barbed hook, which is designed to connect to the loop on the end of Jin's yoyo. The launcher fires things with 300 strength.

The sight of the crimson arrows from which were forged by his reiatsu was one that Asmoskon had grew up with and always felt proud of due to the rarity and uniqueness of the color yet this Bount had power that he was beginning to think out measured even his own. The four arrows that he had fired off went right for the creature yet as they flew through the air Asmoskon’s left eye caught the sight of the yo-yo once again in the Bount’s grasp. “How’s it back already?” Asmoskon was taken off guard by the speed that the yo-yo had returned to the master’s grasp.

What came next though was the reason why Asmoskon began to think that this Bount held power greater then his own. That or this yo-yo that it wielded was more unique then some bladed disc launcher. The left eye studied the body posture of this Bount while at the same time coming up with data on the preferred time of movement and what might be subconscious reaction. Yet he saw immediately what this Bount was going to do the moment his wrist flickered and the yo-yo began to move.

His arrows were deflected and shattered by the mere toy of a half dead creature. Asmoskon’s eye and grin narrowed into an expression of distaste and sternness. As the yo-yo was still being used as a shield for the Bount Asmoskon knew that an attack was going to happen against him now. He was dealing with an adversary who utilized a distance type of weapon. He knew what practitioners of distance would normally do when in this situation and that was a counter attack.

Asmoskon’s battle analysis combined with his keen sight and knowledge was enough to know that the yo-yo was being sent right for him like it had been only moments ago. The distance between them was the same which meant that Asmoskon would be most likely able to avoid it in the same manner as he had done. However, Asmoskon had been hardened by experience now from combat and wasn’t going to assume that an entity with this amount of power would employ the same method of attack twice in a row.

There was definitely something behind the scenes to this attack Asmoskon knew that yet he didn’t have the time to think over what it might be for the object was flying towards him. It would have been easy enough to fire off an arrow and cause it to clash with the yo-yo yet after witnessing that his arrows did no such damage to the weapon he felt that they would do little to delay it as well. He had to get away from it before whatever this Bount was planning happened.

It was then though that the yo-yo split apart and Asmoskon’s left pupil shrunk in surprise. “The Verwüstung” Asmoskon knew exactly what this Bount’s play was even if he couldn’t see it. There was something connecting the two separate sections of the yo-yo something that would cause a lot more problems for Asmoskon then he would care to deal with against something at this level of power. The two separate sections now though were spread apart to the point that even a swift use of Hirenkyaku wouldn’t get him around either of the sides.

Asmoskon had to do something though and after the thought of using the Quincy technique left him a new one replaced it. The attack was nearly upon him and Asmoskon knew that he was going to need to actually get away whether it worked or not was up to his determination and luck. Dropping to his knees Asmoskon shifted his knees causing him to spin on the ground. The nearly invisible string passed over him enabling him to avoid the danger for another moment.

Rolling forward making sure to keep his left arm outwards so his bow wouldn’t prevent such an action Asmoskon placed his feet on the ground once more then vanished from sight only to reappear a moment later little more then three feet on the left side of the Bount. This creature had taunted him with words that spoke as if he had already claimed victory. No he was far from over and this Bount was going to suffer some degree if he was to defeat him by the suffering of his soul Asmoskon would not fall easily to anyone.

His body was in the perfect stance of an archer once again as he reappeared yet he was nearly right at the Bount. “Let’s see some blood.” His words had been spoken just as he appeared and with them three arrows had been fired off from near point blank range. All three arrows were aimed with incredible precision for the torso of the Bount. They would strike him if successful in a vertical line down the center of the chest.

Again, the young Quincy dodged the Bount's attack. He was proving himself to be quite the adversary. Good at dodging so far and a good level of spunk. He was just the kind of prey Anarchy wanted to face. He didn't seem at all frightened that there was a price on his head. He didn't even seem frightened that someone as mysterious as Anarchy was now claiming the money for that hit. Anarchy saw the shock on Asmoskon's face when his arrows were shattered. That must have been the moment that he realized he was outclassed. Or maybe not. It didn't matter honestly, because Anarchy would continue to instill him with dread throughout this entire battle. He would weaken him until the young Quincy could take no more.

Asmoskon even capitalized on the well known weakness of a long-ranged weapon. While the weapon was launched, the wielder was wide open for attack. Most opponents made sure to dodge the weapon in order to get in close while it was launched out and attack the wielder, who was unable to reel the weapon back in time. This left the wielder open to whatever attack the opponent was preparing. But of course, this was something Anarchy knew. The Bount had fought many adversaries who had used similar strategies, and thus it had become instinct to expect a counterattack after all of his own attacks. So, when the Bount saw his opponent disappear with incredible speed, there was not much surprise as to what was coming next.

The Bount's head turned to the left upon seeing the Quincy appear there with incredible speed. The arm holding the bow was already raised and in firing position. His opponent was good. Whoever had hired him had reason to fear the young Quincy's potential. In a few years, Asmoskon might even be strong enough to run this dark underworld of mercenary work. But for now, he still had much to learn and more experience to gain. For starters, he had gotten too close to a Bount. This meant that he hadn't fought much Bount in his lifetime of mercenary work. Had he known what Bount were capable of, he wouldn't have stepped so closely to the mercenary Bount. Had he known about the shadow techniques that Bount possessed, he might have been more careful about positioning his own shadow so close to the Bount's own. With one simple technique, Anarchy would have been able to catch the Quincy off guard by simultaneously avoiding his coming attack and delivering a fatal blow from anywhere he chose to.

Instead, the Bount chose to be kind tonight. It wasn't time to unveil those tricks yet. There would be a moment in the battle when he would have the opportunity. Until that moment arose, he was going to keep toying with his mercenary friend. A simple step with his right foot was all it took. With instincts as high as his, his body was already prepared to move on its own as soon as the Quincy appeared. So, using the same step technique that Asmoskon had used, Anarchy moved away from the Quincy. One step took him further to the right, throwing off Asmoskon's aim. The Quincy would have to re-aim if he wanted to hit the Bount with any of those arrows. When he reappeared a foot to his right, he jerked his finger in order to recall the large yoyo. A second twitch of his finger caused the two halves to fuse together once again as it flew towards him. After that, he stepped off a second time while the yoyo was soaring towards where he had once been.

His body blurred a second time, but this time he moved towards the Quincy, just outside of his outstretched left arm. There would be no way for the young Quincy to hit him from here. Had he been firing the bow with his right hand, he might have. But this wasn't the case. Asmoskon was firing with his left hand, and thus he would have to move his entire arm into an awkward firing position at incredible speeds to even be able to re-aim at Anarchy's new position in time. But, he wouldn't have to worry about trying to re-aim. As soon as Anarchy appeared, he launched out with a quick jab to the Quincy's left underarm with the fingers on his left hand. It wasn't a jab meant to break the arm, it was just to throw off the Quincy. The instinctive reflex motion would be to drop the arm in order to prevent another hit to such a sensitive spot. And while that happened, if Asmoskon followed through with his body's instinctive motion, Anarchy would make his second attack.

"Don't you think you're a little too close...?" By this time, the yoyo was already on its way back towards Anarchy, in an attempt to return to the master. Instead of returning to Anarchy, however, a simple flick of the wrist, would be used to carry the returning yoyo's momentum towards the Quincy's exposed back. The blades were retracted this time and so if the large yoyo hit Asmoskon, it would only leave a painful bruise and send him sprawling forward. But, the message would be clear to him if the attack landed. The Bount could have wounded him much more than he had chosen to. Asmoskon had made a folly by moving so close to the Bount, but he would survive the exchange. Had he been facing a more merciless opponent, however, it would have been the end for him. Either way, whether or not Asmoskon dodged the yoyo or not, Anarchy leapt away to make room between himself and his prey. In that moment, if Asmoskon gazed upon the Bount mercenary, he would see the eyes of the white mask light up suddenly within the darkness of the hood covering Anarchy's head.

Just as the arrows had been fired from his long bow at nearly point blank range the Bount had vanished from sight. Asmoskon’s left eye had made notice of the movement the Bount had utilized and came to the conclusion instantly that it had just preformed the same technique that he had in order to close the distance between them. The young Quincy didn’t even realize that he was now sneering in slight anger after being so easily evaded. This so far had been the longest an opponent had gone without finding themselves on the receiving end of an arrow.

Asmoskon knew that this Bount was incredible lethal and was begging to piece together that whoever hired him was in fact someone from the underground. Probably another mercenary who had heard of how much he had been doing and didn’t want to relinquish the title of top performer. That or it was some type of group or organization that he had screwed over in the last few months. Then lastly there was the possibility that an entire country could have paid for this Bount’s services in order to get revenge on him for taking out some type of military leader. Asmoskon didn’t know which and didn’t much care just because this fight was proving to be both difficult and enjoyable.

This Bount was going to be much harder to land a hit on then anyone he had fought prior and to do so he was going to need to think outside the norm. Sadly Asmsokon had already taken a huge risk by approaching him so close only in hopes that it would cause his arrows to move the distance fast enough that the Bount wouldn’t be able to evade. Now that it had proven a failure Asmsokon was having doubts about being able to shot this Bount unless he used Gerechtigkeit. The Quincy knew though if he resorted to using his release bow now that there would be no hope for victory.

Asmoskon didn’t know much about a Bount, but one thing that he knew was that they possessed a release that he knew would make this fight even more difficult. A release that if he had been asked a year prior about he would have said it would be the most fearsome thing to fight. Now he was changed though and he would meet this Bount head on alongside its Doll when he called for aid against the Dark Archer. The Bount had just reappeared for Asmoskon and was to the right further.

Asmoskon was ready to re-aim and fire off additional arrows yet the idea seemed childish. This Bount had already proven that it was fast enough to evade his arrows at basically point blank range so right now all that it would be doing would be taunting Asmoskon to fire off additional arrows and shorten his reiatsu until he was left with so little he wouldn’t be a threat any longer. The strategy rushed through Asmoskon’s head and he saw no error in this plan if the Bount was in fact using it against him. He wasn’t going to fall for such a thing though he would prove himself better then anyone else.

The sight of the left eye caught the movement of this Bount’s fingers and noticed that the yo-yo was on its way back. Asmoskon had already seen how swift the actions of this Bount were when it came to skill utilizing such a unique weapon. He wasn’t going to allow the creature an opening against him to display some new attack with his weapon. That was when the Bount suddenly vanished and reappeared right in front of him though. Asmoskon knew this wasn’t good and instantly shifted his feet using the stepping technique again to vanish just as the Bount’s hand moved outwards.

Asmoskon knew that staying close to the Bount was now foolish yet at the same time knew that distance wouldn’t be wise either. The Bount had proven that his weapon could be used like a shield against his arrows and that his arrows did little to nothing against that technique. It pained Asmoskon to admit it too himself, but whatever he decided it would need to be swift. He couldn’t risk approaching from the right for the yo-yo was on its way back to the Bount.

Reappearing five feet on the left of the Bount Asmoskon fired off a single arrow this time aimed right for the outstretched arm that it had planned to use against him. Asmoskon was hoping that the Bount wouldn’t be able to perceive where his arrow would be coming from and then not have the speed to avoid it. That was foolish to believe though and Asmoskon was ready to move on with something far more potent against the Bount. He had already made sure that a certain small object was planted at the feet of the Bount.

“Heavenly father embrace your will upon the forsaken. Grasp of the darkness till there be light. Shall nothing fade from your fingers for the world will be engulfed in darkness.” Asmoskon hated the fact that he had to recite an incantation at a moment like this yet he knew that if it worked it might just be enough to take this Bount down. He needed to make sure that this Bount wouldn’t be able to move and the best chance of doing that right now was with the use of this technique. Asmoskon only thanked himself for making sure that his ginto were in a secret pocket inside his coat.

If successful and the technique activated and the silver stacks embedded into this Bount Asmoskon would active one of his strongest techniques that went by the name of Klavier in order to fire off a good deal of arrows all at once right for the Bount. He just knew though that if it didn’t work he would need to evade again swiftly for that yo-yo was heading right towards him and the only thing in its way was the wielder.

How to use technique (How is it activated?): One simply holds their reiatsu weapon outward and gathers reiatsu then chooses to active the technique through thought.

Technique Drawbacks (Limitations, repercussions for use, etc): Until the technique has finished firing it can't be stopped. Only arrows of equal or lower class than the user can be fired through this technique. Once finished the technique can't be activated again for 2 posts.

Technique Description and Effects: A Ginto technique that requires the incantation be spoken. Once done the ginto is thrown toward a target. When the ginto gets within three feet of the targeted Reiatsu it vanished completely into nothingness. In the following post five silver spikes appear embedded in the target. The placements of the spikes are through the knees, elbows and the back of the neck. These spikes don’t possess the power to kill and if broken cause no damage to the body. This technique is meant to prevent movement for a limited amount of time.

How to use technique: Speak the incantation and throw the ginto.

Technique Drawbacks: The silver spikes can be broken if the opponent possesses an offensive stat greater than the user's Reiatsu Strength. The spikes begin to disappear after two posts reducing required break points by 50%. This technique can only be countered by preventing the ginto from getting close enough to vanish or destroying it.

What?!

Underneath the mask, the Bount’s eyes widened instantly as Asmoskon disappeared before his very eyes. It shouldn’t have been so surprising to him that the young Quincy would utilize the same movement in order to escape. What was surprising about it was that he had done so in only a few moments of Anarchy’s own appearance. Were their speeds equal? Was that why the Quincy could easily keep up with the Bount?

Anarchy cursed under his breath as his arm was launching out into thin air. He was wide open now and there was no way to retract that arm which was already in motion. Given Asmoskon’s fighting style already, he preferred to attack when his opponent was open. During moments when his arrows would be guaranteed to hit. With Asmoskon having disappeared, the Bount had to act and quickly, but he wasn’t in the position to use another step technique that wouldn’t cost him too much reiatsu. He had only one option left.

Reiatsu flooded from his body in waves, blasting out of him. His body was covered in the same golden aura as his yoyo had been, except this time the aura was much more grand and blinding to look at. Asmoskon would be surprised at the size and density of the reiatsu the Bount possessed. It would even be more surprising because of the fact that there was no reiatsu sensed from the mysterious Bount mercenary until now. With his energy sensory, he would be able to sense the power behind Anarchy’s reiatsu and he might even feel dread to be up against someone with such a powerful reiatsu. The reiatsu itself covered Anarchy completely like a golden flame and deflected the single arrow that was aimed at his left arm. With such incredible power behind Anarchy’s own reiatsu, about 2x greater than the reiatsu strength of that arrow, it was nothing in comparison. It even blasted away and destroyed the Ginto that was planted at the Bount’s feet without his knowledge, even as Asmoskon began his incantation.

”Ahh, I can’t believe you drew me to this point." Releasing his reiatsu in such a manner wasn’t something he had wanted to do. Asmoskon had forced him into using such a maneuver to save himself from being pierced by the holy powers of that arrow. Bount and Quincy had always been enemies since the creation of the Bount, and Quincy had developed their powers in order to kill both Bount and Hollow alike. Asmoskon’s arrows were too holy for a soul like Anarchy’s. Thus, he had to draw out his own latent reiatsu in order to deflect the arrow from himself. He had now exposed himself by committing such an action because now Asmoskon would be able to sense his true reiatsu and know just what kind of opponent he was facing. The cloak would do nothing now to conceal his reiatsu, given that he had released it in such a powerful wave just now. It would take a few seconds to reset, but there was no point in holding it back now since Asmoskon had been able to identify his reiatsu from the get go anyway.

There needed to be a change in strategy now that Anarchy knew his opponent was more deadly than he had previously known. The Quincy was good, fitting exactly to the description his employer had given him of the up-and-coming Quincy mercenary. Yet, Anarchy had wanted to draw more out of the Quincy and see if there was something more to him than what was told by word-of-mouth. And now, he was seeing this for himself. Now, he was getting the opportunity to see all of Asmoskon’s power through his very own eyes. It was time to step things up a notch.

At this point, his large yoyo had returned to him and he caught the heavy toy in his grasp. This happened just as the Quincy fired off the rapid volley of arrows in the Bount’s direction. Arrow after arrow threatened to skewer the Bount and pierce his body with their holy energy. However, what Asmoskon was expecting to happen wouldn’t go as planned. With the golden flame-like reiatsu still flooding out from his body, acting like a shield to protect him from the menacing arrows, Anarchy had no reason to attempt escape. While it was incredibly draining to release his reiatsu in such a manner, he had been drawn to do so due to the dire situation the Quincy had drawn him into. His golden reiatsu, which released a powerful warm aura, blasted the arrows away and utterly destroyed them, creating a small explosion that clouded the air in front of the mercenary.

”That was a nice display just now. Was that your strongest attack? Hmm?”

The modulated voice that spoke through the smoke cloud was taunting Asmoskon. It was making jest of his current situation. "You’re not half bad, I’ll give you that. Against a weaker bloke, that might have worked.” Anarchy’s modulated voice cut through the mist as he prepared his next attack. Most likely, Asmoskon would expect an attack to come while vision of his opponent was obscured. The next attack would indeed be quite obvious for this reason, however, the way in which Anarchy would attack next would not.

The large black yoyo burst out from the right side of the smoke cloud that had formed. It moved quickly, curving around the sides of the smoke cloud as it made its way towards the left side of the young Quincy, still on a curving path. How it was still curving like that was anybody’s guess, but for Anarchy who was a master wielder of the unique toy-like weapon, moving it in such a manner was child’s play. A flick of the wrist had the looped end of the wire detaching from the arm brace, so that the yoyo could continue on its path using its forward momentum. Meanwhile, Anarchy chose another route for his own attack, given that he already knew how this attack would end given his past two attempts.

Underneath the white faceless mask, his eyes instantly turned red. His eyes turned red instantly and his body and mask lost all color except for the blackness that had already shrouded it. Instantly, his body had became a mass of shadow with only glowing red eyes. And then, the mass of shadow that his body had become sank into the ground as if it was water, combining with the shadows of the smoke cloud. As his own shadowy body became apart of the smoke cloud's shadow, his reiatsu signature grew muffled and weakened once more. Then, before the end of the wire from the yoyo left the smoke cloud, the Bount made his move. Moving along the shadow of the thin wire on the ground, he made his way towards Asmoskon to attempt a two-pronged attack. Given how thin the wire's shadow would be along the ground, it would be hard to even see it let alone recognize what it was. And given that the bulk of Asmoskon's attention would be on the large yoyo making its way towards him, his eye would be on the yoyo rather than the yoyo's shadow. Anarchy moved towards Asmoskon along that thin shadow but waited to attack, choosing to bide his time until the moment was right. He was planning something quite devious for the young Quincy.

This is the staple technique which all Bount develop eventually with age, though of course it takes practice to master. This technique allows Bount to sink into the shadows, and melt into the darkness. As long as there is a shadow that the Bount stands over or in contact with, they can melt their entire body into it. In this way, they can reside within the shadow and watch situations unfold, with only glowing red eyes showing from inside of the shadow. Or, instead, they can disappear completely into the shadow and use it to transport themselves. Bount can travel anywhere within shadows as long as these shadows are connected. So if two shadows are disjointed, Bount cannot travel in between them. This makes this technique most effective at night, especially during a new moon. The class 5 version is the most commonly used, and allows the Bount to sink at half their speed. Class 4 allows full speed sinking. Class 3 allows double speed sinking.

This technique costs reiatsu, but has another drawback. It makes Bount skin extremely sensitive to heat and to light. Therefore, hot things seem hotter, and bright things seem brighter. And, the sun has a harmful effect when this is used. For 24 hours after use of this technique, Bount must avoid sunlight, or their skin will begin to blister and burn. The higher class of technique they used within the last 24 hours, the more they will burn. If the class 3 version was used, the burning may even kill them if they stay in sunlight long enough.

The crimson arrow flew through the small amount of space which had been selected for its course to this Bount. Asmoskon watched intently his left eye searching for any type of movement and any indication of a counter or something that he had seen already. He was going to need to figure out how this Bount moved and fought better in order to truly defeat him. The confidence in his crimson arrow was crushed though as it shattered against the body of the Bount.

The pupil of his left eye shrunk in disbelief as the golden aura became visible. The incantation had just been finished and Asmoskon though perhaps his ginto technique might be still able to subdue the Bount. That thought though was shattered when he saw the ginto vanish from existence yet not in the manner of the technique. The damned aura had been to strong and had actually destroyed the medium for his technique. Focusing his Reiatsu Asmoskon set off to see if that aura had any specific weakness.

All of a sudden Asmoskon realized he could sense the reiatsu of this Bount and felt how enormous it actually was. The reiatsu that he sensed before was like the surface of an ocean compared to what he was feeling right now. The fact that such a being could even hold such power was enough that Asmoskon lost focus for a moment in shock. The sound of the yo-yo returning into the grasp of the Bount though snapped Asmoskon from his veil of freight. A large mass of reiatsu began to gather right around his left hand and then the incredible rapid fire of arrows were sent right for the Bount.

“Even if he has a defense it can’t be invincible. Every defense has some type of weakness. If I can’t pierce through it with a single arrow I’ll break it down with a volley.” Asmoskon thought through his actions and the logical outlook on how it might work out to his advantage even if it was drawing heavily on his reiatsu. He had fought against other adversaries that possessed some forms of defense that could withstand his arrows. Yet never had he been unable to subdue them with a ginto. So he hoped a barrage would break the defense.

Asmoskon stood wary for a few moments taking his breathes slowly in order to assure that he could continue this battle as long as possible. The white smoke rose through the air off of his bow’s spine after Klavier had been finished. After a few moments Asmoskon’s left eye returned to the display of disbelief it had only a few moments ago. The Bount was unharmed and it looked like the golden aura had been completely unaffected by his arrows.

Shifting from disbelief to anger fueled by competition Asmoskon’s left eye starred over towards the cloud of smoke that had been caused by the clashing of two different reiatsu. Asmoskon knew it was unwise to stay in the same local now that he couldn’t see the Bount. He could feel a different warmth in the air and for a moment thought he might have been affected by something without knowing it. He pushed the though aside though when he saw the smoke shift slightly.

”That was a nice display just now. Was that your strongest attack? Hmm? You’re not half bad, I’ll give you that. Against a weaker bloke, that might have worked.”

Asmoskon’s vision and battle analyzes had saved him yet again. Thankfully the yo-yo was coming from the left and Asmoskon had seen the shift of the smoke and thought ahead of what the most logical reason could be. It was either the Bount rushing through or his weapon and it seemed to be the latter. It was obvious to see that the yo-yo was curving in trajectory something that Asmoskon knew only a master of it would be able to accomplish. His longbow vanished and in his right hand the short black bow manifested. Asmoskon had noticed the thin wire that was being used to control the weapon and could estimate the location of the Bount through the smoke with that knowledge.

“Every attack has a weakness. Every action causes something for the opponent to notice. Anything and everything that is done in a battle Asmoskon can be used against you. For this reason you must practice to the point that your movements become nothing more then subconscious actions while your eyes do this same action towards an enemy. If you see an attack coming your eyes must be able to perceive where the attack had come from. Understand my son that the world is harsh and these are lessons you will need in the future.”

The teachings of his father rushed through Asmoskon’s mind as he bent forwards and rolled under the yo-yo that past above him. Those teachings had been past on from his grandfather to his father and then down to him. This was a fight that he would truly need those teachings and now was the time when he had to use them to the best of his abilities against a foe that might well end up killing him. As his feet touched the surface of the street once again and the yo-yo was just passing over him Asmoskon’s body flipped to the left off the ground.

His body though wasn’t extended it was in a tight ball yet he was executing a flip that worked the same as a cartwheel. As he moved through the air a single crimson arrow flew out right into the smoke where Asmoskon had believed the Bount to be located. As feet touched the surface of the ground a moment later and Asmoskon knew something was wrong. He hadn’t heard his arrow clash with anything at all. That meant that the Bount either dodged it somehow or he wasn’t within the smoke.

Going with the latter due to the fact that this Bount hadn’t bothered to evade a single arrow so far Asmoskon stood up and looked around. His bow was in his right hand now and his left fingers were ready to draw back the bow string and fire off an arrow the moment the Bount came into view. That was when the Quincy sensed that the reiatsu of the Bount wasn’t as clear as it had been a moment ago. Where was he now? What was his plan? Asmoskon had no clue all he knew was that he had to survive long enough to kill this bastard.

The young Quincy played right into the Bount’s hand. While Asmoskon was quite talented in his fighting prowess, he wasn’t truly free from a predictable fighting style. All throughout their battle, the young Quincy’s fighting style involved a specific kind of dodge and counterattack style. When Asmoskon dodged, he did so in ways and at moments that left his opponent open. Asmoskon had assumed that Anarchy was using the cloud for cover as he attacked with the yoyo. This, however, was not the case, something Asmoskon would find out soon enough.

The Bount smirked from his position in the shadows of that thin steel wire. The Bount smirked as he moved along that shadow towards Asmoskon. The Quincy was aiming to hit him while the yoyo was still launched. He had realized that landing a hit on his opponent wouldn’t be possible unless that yoyo was out of the way, lest he risk the same defense as earlier in their battle. So he aimed to land an arrow while Anarchy’s yoyo was attacking, at the moment that Anarchy himself would be open for attack. Against a weaker foe, his plan would have worked. Had Anarchy not been a little more clever than his prey, Asmoskon’s arrow would have ended up in his chest. But unfortunately for Asmoskon, this was not the case at all.

Anarchy’s plan had always been to make his move the moment Asmoskon dodged his yoyo. He had expected this from Asmoskon. There was nothing else the young Quincy could do but dodge. His plan had been to get the yoyo close enough to Asmoskon that the thin shadow and the young Quincy’s own shadow would overlap and connect. That was the moment he had been biding his time for. That was the moment when he had planned to strike. His body, in that shadowy form, slipped from the shadow of his own steel wire into the connecting shadow of the young Quincy.

As Asmoskon launched himself into the air in a leap over the deadly yoyo, Anarchy struck. Luckily, it had also been the same moment that Asmoskon was launching his attack. Anarchy hadn’t expected him to launch an attack mid-way through his own dodge. Had he dodged and then launched his attack during that split second while the yoyo was still launched out, he might have been able to save himself from what was coming next.

Surely, Asmoskon wouldn’t be expecting what came next. Surely, there would be no way for him to respond to such a sudden attack, having never faced a Bount before or even a technique similar to this one. He would be unable to process it all in that split moment that it happened. The Bount’s body rose quickly from Asmoskon’s own shadow. As Asmoskon was in the air, Anarchy's body rose to meet him, and the fact that it came from Asmoskon’s own shadow would be both surprising and dreadful for the young Quincy.

Anarchy’s hand launched out first as he rose, reaching for the Quincy’s throat. The two were of equal speed, but with such low instincts, Asmoskon would be incredibly hard-pressed to force his body to move in time before his mind could even put together the situation. The Bount’s hand would find Asmoskon’s throat in the span of time it would take the Quincy to figure out what had just happened. And by then, it would be too late. By the time he realized what had just happened, it would be too late to formulate a response, even an instinctive one.

Anarchy’s right hand gripped the Quincy’s throat, holding him there while he launched a second attack. The left fist rose suddenly at the same time that Anarchy grabbed the boy by his throat. The fist would find a nice home in the Quincy’s chest as the boy was grabbed. Given that Anarchy’s strength was only average, he wouldn’t be able to break or shatter any ribs or the boy’s sternum. However, Asmoskon would find himself gasping for breath as a result of the air being pushed out of his lungs from such a fierce blow.

Avoiding the blow itself might be possible for the Quincy, but as he made movements to counter or protect his throat from being crushed, he would find his energy suddenly drained from him. Any movement he tried to make would be weakened. His whole body would feel weaker as if he had been fighting full out for more than a minute. He would find his stamina drained. Contact on his throat for only a second had his stamina reduced by 75% of what it had been, a result of the Bount technique, Blutsauger.

Anarchy held the weakened boy closer to his own face, so that the weakened Quincy would be able to look into the black eye-holes of the white mask. Up-close, Asmoskon would get a good view of the faceless mask, with that large red 'A' plastered on the forehead. He would be able to stare into the faceless mask as Anarchy spoke once more, ”Your reiatsu is….lackluster.” The eye-holes of the mask lit up suddenly, in some dramatic fashion to scare the Quincy.

All of a sudden, Anarchy threw the young Quincy to the ground beside him and stepped away. As he walked to retrieve the yoyo he had launched earlier, he continued taunting the boy and filling him with even more dread and fear. "I thought you would taste better than this. But no matter, you still gave me what I needed. Had I held you any second longer, I would have drained you dry.” With that, Anarchy smiled underneath the mask, his body reveling in the power that it had just absorbed from the boy. He bent down and picked up the toy-like weapon and turned once more to face his prey. He wondered what the Quincy was thinking in that moment. Just how would Asmoskon fight him now that he had been weakened? Would he run? He was hoping he didn't. That would make things less fun.

”Come on…is that it, 'ol chap? I know there’s more fight in you. Get up and let's finish this...”

This is the most lethal Bount technique to be used in close quarters combat. It cannot be used on other Bount. One touch to a victim of inferior reiatsu strength. One touch of the palm. If done for a mere instant, the victim's stamina is drained by an amount equivalent to 75% of their total stamina. If for two seconds, all stamina is instantly drained. If for four, all reiatsu is depleted. If for eight seconds, all bodily fluids are depleted to nourish the Bount. The victim is left with a dried husk body that can no longer move, and is dying quickly. They are left in dryness and misery as the Bount's stats double for the next 10 posts.

Everything had gone just as he had imagined he had been able to dodge the yo-yo while flipping his body in a way that would make predicting what was happening far more difficult for this Bount. Asmoskon’s left eye was fixated on the area of the smoke that his arrow was passing through he kept his senses high in order to hear the sound of the arrow embedding itself into the chest of this Bount. However, after less then a full second Asmoskon’s pupil widened in shock and realization. He knew that the Bount wasn’t in the smoke or that he had somehow managed to evade the arrow.

Asmoskon knew that even now as his feet touched the surface of the street once again and the sound of such connection was soft over the area that he was in fact not safe at all. He had no clue what was going on or where the Bount was any longer and that meant that he was fighting blind. This hadn’t happened to him since he had been ambushed by the Vandenreich and lost his right eye. Asmoskon knew that this was bad and he had to come up with something fast in order to move away. Just as he began to bend his body backwards though in order to execute a back flip into the air the Bount somehow just appeared from the ground in front of him.

Asmoskon felt his blood rush throughout his body and everything was so much warmth then normal. He knew that he was using a large deal of his actual stamina in this short time just to keep himself constantly moving against this foe. However, right when the Bount reappeared Asmoskon tried to use Movement once again to move backwards only to feel the icily touch of the Bount’s hand grasping his throat. Asmoskon began to angle his right hand towards the Bount ready to fire off an arrow straight through the creatures skull. However, before the angle could be made he felt the air in his lungs knocked out and found it incredible difficult to fill them once again with his throat tightly gripped.

The stench of this creature was one that filled Asmoskon’s nostrils and the very fact of it was causing him to shake and fight against him like a child fighting against the grasp of its mother. His legs flailed about trying to kick the Bount while his arm began to go down towards the Bount’s right arm in order to break himself free. That though was when Asmoskon felt as if all of his energy had simply been drained from him. All the movement of his body just suddenly stopped and his limbs dropped to the sides no longer being moved through the thoughts of his mind.

The long black bow suddenly dropped from the grasp of the Quincy’s left hand to the street only to vanish into nothingness. Asmoskon would feel himself being brought closer to the Bount and forced to stare directly at the mask in front of him. Asmoskon knew that if he could just managed to move his mouth open and angle his tongue correctly he could fire off an arrow at point blank range right at the mask. Though that was the thing his energy was gone and his throat was being held tightly it was as if he couldn’t do anything at all.

”Your reiatsu is….lackluster.”

It was then that Asmoskon felt the grip of the Bount loosen from his throat and his body begins to fall to the ground. The Bount had actually thrown him slightly through the air and Asmoskon could feel the heels of his boots scrapping against the pavement of the street. He was helpless to stop himself though he still couldn’t even move his body. In the following moment the one eyed Quincy would fall backwards onto the pavement of the street his left eye half closed due to nearly exhaustion. Everything around him was going dark and it was as if everything just wasn’t correct.

He could feel his heart beating in his throat, chest, legs, head why was it doing that and how could he tell. Asmoskon hadn’t felt like this unless he had trained to the point that he actually caused himself to pass out. Yet why was it happening now and why had it just come onto him all of a sudden. Even his mind was going blank from the amount of stamina that had been stolen from him. After a few seconds Asmoskon’s left eye closed and it looked as if the young man had passed out from exhaustion.

All of a sudden everything was bright and Asmoskon was standing out in a valley of flowers. Asmoskon didn’t know where he was and could only react by looking around for whatever was near by. It was then that he saw someone that hadn’t been in his life for the last three years. He could see the back of his mother. Asmoskon’s left eye widened in disbelief. In the next moment he began to move towards her without even realizing he was doing it. “Mom . . MOM!” Asmoskon began to rush toward his mother hoping that everything had just been a nightmare that he had finally awoken from.

Right as Asmoskon reached his mother he changed. He wasn’t tall or tattooed anymore it was as if he was a small child once again embraced by the arms of his mother. He could feel her warmth on his skin and how she held him was just like the distant memory that he could hardly remember. “Don’t worry Asmo everything is alright.” Asmoskon just broke at the sound of his mothers voice it was as if everything horrible was gone and he could be happy again. Tears streamed down the face of the dark haired little boy as he clench to his mother.

He could feel her hands on his back and shoulders and just cried into her stomach his arms shaking from the suddenness. “Mom . . I’ve missed you so much.” “Why Asmo you’ve just been asleep for a few minutes dear. Stop being silly come on lets go see grandpa.” Asmoskon looked up at his mother and fought back the tears that streamed down his face. Asmoskon couldn’t bring himself to actually speak with all of the emotions rushing through him so he just shook his head yes to his mother. In the next moment he took his mom’s hand and they began to walk into the flowers.

Then all of a sudden though Asmoskon was standing in the study of his grandfather back at their old house. He was around fifteen now and everything just looked like another memory. Asmoskon looked from side to side again for anything. “As . mo . . . run.” Asmoskon turned around and saw his grandfather standing in the doorway filled with arrows. He had been shot more then a dozen times and Asmoskon’s eyes simply stared in shock and horror as his grandfather looked at him in fear and then dropped to the ground.

Asmoskon turned around in fear ready to run away just like he had in the past in the same situation. This was all a memory a memory that he was being forced to relive, but why and how were of no understanding at the moment. The Asmoskon that had been fighting the Bount wasn’t truly in this memory and his actions were being held at bay by the fact of what had actually happened to him and how he had ran from the Vandenreich.

“What’s wrong Asmo come on darling mommy’s got some cookies for you.” Asmoskon had only just turned and the entire area had changed again now it was the outside of Tokyo near the river. His mother was standing right in front of his face, but it was different then what had happened. His mother was starring directly at him with a hole between her eyes and blood covering her face her body filled with holes and her right arm completely gone.

His mother was leaning towards him as blood dripped from her Asmoskon felt his soul being gripped by nothing, but fear his eyes shaking just like his body nothing was in his control nothing had ever been in his control. It seemed like nothing would ever be in control. “You know I cheated on you right. You’re nothing Asmoskon just a poor loser. As if a Kuchiki like me would ever care about you!” Asmoskon turned and there she was Hotaru standing right there her arms crossed over her chest as she just spit at him and walked away vanishing.

All of a sudden Asmoskon dropped to his knees as all of the voices bashed through his mind screaming and laughing at him. “Please like anyone ever loved you.” “You bring nothing, but harm and danger to everyone.” “You’re useless you fool.” “Just a disgrace to us.” “Pity I thought my son would have given me a true successor not some trash.” “I can’t believe I wasted my life on you.” “That fool actually believed I was his hahahaha!” “Just die already you piece of filth” "I thought you would taste better than this. But no matter, you still gave me what I needed. Had I held you any second longer, I would have drained you dry.”

“NOOOOOOOO!” Asmoskon stood up from the pavement of the streets his left eye locked on the Bount. It was the same as it had been a few months ago. An eye filled with pure determination one that lived for vengeance and nothing else. The look of a man willing to kill. Asmoskon suddenly brought his left hand out and uttered a single word. “Gerechtigkeit” All of a sudden the massive longbow materialized in Asmoskon’s left hand and the Bount would feel his spiritual pressure sky rocket from the activation of his release.

“I will not be pushed aside like filth! I will never be stomped out by anyone. Not the Emperor! Not Hotaru! Not You! Not even Myself!” Asmoskon was screaming with the intensity of a man on the edge one ready to actually rush a tank with nothing, but a knife. He now had accepted everything that had happened in the past, but no longer would he run he was different and he was going to get his vengeance no matter who stood in his way.

Asmoskon gripped the bowstring and pulled back yet didn’t release the arrow right away. If the Bount looked carefully he would see that there was an arrow, but it was glowing and somehow getting bigger. It less then two full seconds it was fired off aimed for the chest of the Bount at a speed that would surprise anyone who had ever fought against Asmoskon before. He wasn’t holding back if he didn’t have the energy to keep this fight going until he learned the weakness of this creature he was going to wipe it from existence before it got the chance to do the same to him.

The crimson arrow would travel so fast that it wouldn’t even seem clear as if it wasn’t there anymore. There were two reasons for that though. The first being that this arrow was one that Asmoskon had never used in combat before due to how costly it was on him and the fact that no foe had ever pushed him to this limit. It held his release mass ability and was far more powerful then the standard arrow he could fire. The one heading for the Bount right now was three as strong as a normally fired arrow. However, Asmoskon had also channeled in the power of his bracelet furthering the power of the arrow’s speed. (1100 Speed & 1470 RS)

”Is that it…?”

There was silence after the cloaked mercenary had dropped the young Quincy. There had been silence too as the mercenary went to retrieve the yoyo he had attacked with earlier. The same yoyo which he had used to set up the followup attack that the young Quincy hadn’t seen coming. It was that attack which had crippled Asmoskon and left him in the state he was in now. It was that attack which had left him broken. ”Is that it?” the modulated voice asked again. Brown eyes peered out from behind the white titanium alloy mask that was his face for now. Brown eyes gazed upon the broken figure of the young Quincy laying on the ground feet from him. ”I thought there would be more to you than this…” Anarchy stated, pestering Asmoskon with more and more taunts.

The scene before him now was a familiar one. Long ago, it had been he in this same situation. Long ago, it had been he who was there laying on the ground, wishing for it all to end. It was ironic that he was doing the same thing to Asmoskon that someone else had once done to him. A smirk formed on his face when he realized the similarities between Asmoskon and the memory of himself from that time. He had brought Asmoskon to a point he had been made to experience once before. It truly was quite ironic, that the despair he had once been made to feel was now being experienced in the same way by the young Quincy. He stood there, his shadow being cast over the young boy, in the same way his opponent’s had been that time.

Time passes, and still you seem so weak…

The words echoed within his own mind, even as the young Quincy lay there on the ground before him. The image of that man also appeared in his mind. The black suit, the black hair, the piercing black eyes. While Asmoskon was hallucinating, Anarchy’s own mind chose to play back the memories of that man and his words. The words that had continued to fuel his strength. It was those words that made him stronger, that gave him the drive to continue to strengthen himself for his race. Time and time again, he had been left defeated in the same way the young boy had. Time and time again, he had been made to feel this same despair at the hands of that man. In the end, it would only strengthen the young Quincy and fuel his desires.

Suddenly, the cloaked mercenary’s right hand flicked towards the ground. The large circular disk was sent spinning out of his hand towards the ground. At first, it seemed as if he planned to attack the young man while he was in a state of despair, but this wasn’t the case. The large disks hovered a few inches off the ground, continuing their spin before eventually spinning back up the string and returning to Anarchy’s hand. Swish. Swish. Swish. Swish. The movement of the large disks back and forth along the string would create a rhythmic sound that broke through the silence of the streets. It was all that Asmoskon would hear outside of his hallucinations. Anarchy continued flicking those large disks while he waited for his opponent to recover.

It had seemed like minutes had gone by, but it had only been a few seconds, before the young Quincy finally came back to his senses. He stood defiantly, even in the face of such despair. ”That’s it…” There was glee in the modulated voice that spoke as Asmoskon stood. As the young Quincy formed the massive longbow, a smile formed behind the faceless white mask. ”That look in your eye…that’s the kind of look I want to see!” In that moment, he began to wonder whether he had seemed this defiant in the face of that man. He wondered whether he too had had this same look in his own eyes when he had once faced that agent of Despair.

He stopped flicking the large disks and stared in shock at what was before him. The smile on his face had disappeared, replaced by the look of surprise at the reiatsu that he could feel being drawn up by the Quincy mercenary. The reiatsu he felt being charged was powerful. It wasn’t that it was something he couldn’t handle. It was that he hadn’t expected the Quincy to produce such power after having been drained of his stamina only a few moments ago. How he had so much power left was shocking to the cloaked mercenary, who looked on with shock as the arrow grew larger and larger. There was nothing he would be able to do to defend himself against such an attack with any of his techniques outside of release. He wasn’t sure how he knew this, but somehow he could feel it. The young Quincy was putting a large portion of his strength into this attack in order to take him out while he was still breathing. He was planning to end it right here with this one attack.

The arrow that blasted forwards moved too quickly for Anarchy to be able to properly evade. There was no way he could evade without using a much faster step technique. He could have easily evaded with a much faster step technique, had he not let his guard down so much beforehand. He hadn’t expected Asmoskon to attempt such an attack. He hadn’t expected the young Quincy to try to end it all with such a powerful attack. It was ironic really. He had asked for more, and now he was getting it. He was getting just what he had asked for. However, such an attack was nothing against the other powers Anarchy held. He wouldn’t reveal the bulk of those powers today, in the off chance that he happened to run into the Quincy again, but in the meantime, he would leave him with a small memento of the true power he held.

Releasing in tandem would have been enough to easily deal with the attack he was presented with, but there was no time to release. Not with the speed with which the arrow was launched. Instead, Anarchy had a different tactic. What came next would be quite surprising to the young Quincy. What he would see next as that arrow blasted towards his cloaked opponent would be etched into his mind forever. What he saw next was something that would forever haunt him every time he remembered the events of this battle. He wouldn’t even believe it with his own eyes. What came next was just that unbelievable.

As the arrow flew towards Anarchy, the black cloaked mercenary made no movements to evade or counter the arrow that was so quickly moving towards him. Instead, the air around him shifted as if there was a large amount of heat being produced there. In that split second before the arrow hit, if Asmoskon looked closely, he would see the faint orange that colored the air around his opponent. He would see it just as the arrow moved within striking distance and melted. All of a sudden, the arrow melted as it penetrated the few feet of space before reaching Anarchy. And then just like that, it dispersed completely. The reiatsu that made up that huge crimson arrow was suddenly parted to both sides of the cloaked figure. Just like that, the reiatsu disappeared into thin air, leaving only the thin wispy orange colored gas that formed so quickly around the cloaked mercenary. Then just as quickly as the gas had formed, it disappeared, leaving Anarchy standing there untouched.

Though Asmoskon wouldn’t see it, Anarchy was breathing heavily underneath the white mask. His breaths were coming in fast as he tried to recover from the large amount of reiatsu he had spent to produce such a defense. How he was able to even use such a technique, he was still unsure of. All he knew was that he could. It had been an instinctual response almost, the use of that technique, a technique that didn’t even belong to him. It was hard for him to explain, but he surmised that the use of such a power must have come from the strong connection he had with his doll. Only a strong connection with the doll outside of just a master-servant connection would allow him this ability; to be able to use his own doll’s techniques. He stood there, catching his breath and waiting for Asmoskon’s next move. He chose not to speak this time, so that his words wouldn’t come out choppy because of his ragged breathing. Instead, he looked on and waited for what would come next. Just how would the young Quincy respond to what had just happened?

Hitzeschutz (lit. Heat Shield)

Description: By super heating the air around, Hitze can create a small field of super hot temperature anywhere around Jin. The field appears as an orange gas when it forms. When a technique passes through the shield of heat, it disperses. The technique is broken down and it's power is used to strengthen the heat (OOC: meaning the heat gains reiatsu strength equivalent to the technique's cost). As a result of compacting the heat, techniques must possess more than double Jin's own reiatsu strength to bypass it. Also, a person passing through the field of heat is disintegrated. Lastly, though it appears as a gas, the field can't actually be blown away because it's heat. The orange gas is only there to make the field visible. The gas isn't the heat. This is a class 2 technique and costs 600 reiatsu.

Drawback: While using this, Hitze can't use any of its other techniques due to focus. There is also a two post cooldown after using this.

[✠Asmoskon Masurao✠]

Standing his left eye locked on the body of the Bount, Asmoskon was in complete focus everything around him fading into nothing other than darkness that outlined the body of the Bount. He knew that using his mass ability Vielfach was going to drain him far further than he would prefer yet he also knew that it was the best way to break throw whatever defense this Bount was using that had stopped all of his attacks prior. The crimson arrow formed and Asmoskon knew that without the focus of his mind and the teachings that were near perfection he would possibly miss the Bount. He wasn’t going to miss this arrow was going to blast a hole right through him leaving limbs to decorate the street and nothing more.

Asmoskon could hear the words of the Bount as he spoke about the look in his eye yet paid him no attention other than his location. He was feeling whole for the moment something that he hadn’t felt in the last six months. Right now he was more focused and powerful than he had ever been in his life. He had once held this much focus and determination yet his experience was far less than it was now and through his experience Asmoskon had grown into something far above the naïve boy. He could tell the Bount was taunting him and prepared for two different things as the crimson arrow was released from his grasp.

Asmoskon’s eye was focused on the body of the Bount ready for it to simply disappear like so many other foes did when they chose to use a step technique in order to evade an arrow. As he watched though the Bount didn’t disappear instead Asmoskon’s sight picked up a strange orange substance around the creature. Asmoskon had no clue what it meant the other defenses had been golden in coloration not orange. Choosing to go on an all-out assault Asmoskon would vanish right as the arrow left his grasp. As he disappeared though the arrow was already half way to the Bount.

“He was able to defend himself last time with that golden aura right now he’s preoccupied with Vielfach it’s the best chance I’ve got.” Asmoskon thought over his next action as he moved through space at a speed any normal human would be unable to even see. One moment he was on the ground his long black bow held out in towards the Bount the next he was flipping in midair again executing another midair cartwheel. The crimson reiatsu focus on the mid of the bow’s spine again though as he began the cartwheel.

As that occurred Asmoskon’s left eye slanted downwards in an expression of hate as he watched Vielfach literally melt and splash over the Bount. Asmoskon now knew that whatever that orange mist was it held some type of either anti-reiatsu or heat power. Either way it was a power for him due to this Bount having a wide array of defenses and each seemed enough to halt his arrows. So far from what he could tell the Bount was able to manifest these techniques near instantaneously. His best chance still was attacking now right after his ace in the hole had failed to finish off the creature.

That was when something he had never expected occurred though. He was focused on the body of the Bount and this was once again a battle of survival yet what he saw now went against logic. There she was just like earlier in the night when he had looked down at the college girl most likely still in the hotel bed. Hotaru was standing only a few meters away starring at him with an evil smile on her face. Just standing watching him fight against this Bount with a look that displayed how obviously she laughed at his attempts.

Why was she here? How was she here? When did she arrive? How hadn’t he sensed her? These were all questions that rushed throughout his mind as his eye locked on her form while his bow remained aimed at the Bount. The Hotaru that Asmoskon was seeing though was not truly there it was one manifested from his mind that now had been unleashed. He had broken through the guilt of his family’s death and attempted to break free from the pain of his love. Yet he had only set her free and now she was more powerful then she might be in reality for his mind was in no longer in his own control.

The glowing crimson reiatsu that now was visible if the Bount was able to see Asmoskon in midair to his far right. Suddenly arrow after arrow began to fire off from the massive black bow aimed right for the Bount once again. Asmoskon knew that he had used Klavier and it had failed only a minute or so ago yet now the arrows were locked on the Bount and moved with far more speed. Perhaps they might just be fast enough to take him by surprise. “No they won’t Asmoskon they’re too slow and it’s because you’re weak simply weak and not worthy.”

Asmoskon was executing a cartwheel after all though so not every arrow would be fired from the same exact location and as he flipped upside down the arrows continued to bombard right towards the Bount. Asmoskon knew that the best thing to do was keep attacking and find some type of weakness there had to be one somewhere so he was going to unleash everything that he held back against this creature here and now while he still had enough stamina to move. “You don’t have what it takes to take down anyone you’ve always been weak and you’ll never be strong enough to claim anyone or free your people.”

As his toes touched the surface of the street though Asmoskon truly felt the drain once again on how much energy was left in his body. He had planned to instantaneously use his Quincy step upon touching the surface, but instead the muscles of his calves actually gave to the weight of his body. He could feel himself dropping towards the ground slightly moving his bow off the perfect accuracy only slightly. It didn’t matter the arrows being fired were locked on and would correct the course if there was any caused by the slight mistake. “You’re pathetic Asmoskon. It’s why I moved on from you and you’re left behind by everyone.”

There was only another second until the arrows ceased firing off and Klavier ended and in that fraction of a second that Asmoskon felt himself giving weight he tucked the right side of his upper body downwards while holding the bow out with his left hand. He hadn’t planned for this, but now he was rolling on the street towards the front of the Bount again yet he was about five feet away and the bastard was still being fired upon. In truth Asmoskon didn’t even know if the creature would be able to see his location due to the barrage sent at him. All he could do right now was try and focus and keep Hotaru from distracting him.

Regardless if he would or not the moment that Asmoskon ceased his roll and his feet touched the ground he could feel the sweat rushing off of his forehead and down his body. He was running out of time and that was all he had right now. Vanishing once again Asmoskon moved towards the Bount. It didn’t matter if he had been shot full of arrows, sent backwards, or managed to reappear somewhere else Asmoskon was focused completely on him and a second latter the black coat that he had been wearing suddenly would appear right in front of the creatures mask.

The young Quincy was going to attempt to find out if this creature could sense his attacks or had only been relying on his sense of sight. Asmoskon was five feet behind the creature his bow aimed at his back as a final crimson arrow was drawn back with his bleeding right hand. “Time to die.” Asmoskon released the final arrow that he could muster having it aimed at the center of the Bount’s back. It would split apart into two arrows connected by a thin crimson reiatsu string that if successful would wrap around the Bount and lead to the explosion.

Asmoskon was now kneeling on the street breathing in heavy rapid bursts nearly gasping for air as his massive black bow vanished from sight. Both hands on the pavement sweat dripping off of his face and running down his arms to the street Asmoskon was at the point of unconsciousness. He knew that there was no way for him to continue now he had no energy left. In all honestly he knew he wouldn’t even be able to pull back his bowstring again. He felt the pain shoot up through his right hand as the blood seeped into the pavement.

That was when he felt something touching his back and instinct told him to move yet his body was in a state that he could only gasp for breathe. “Tsk tsk tsk. You’re even weaker now then you were when I decided to leave you loser!” Asmoskon moved his head up slightly and saw Hotaru standing in front of him looking down at him with an expression that one would only see on an evil creature. “You’re not real you can’t be real.” Hotaru moved down squatting in front of him and then all of a sudden Asmoskon’s left eye’s pupil grew in shock as complete freight and awe motioned over him.

Hotaru was holding his chin moving it up to look her in the face. “I’m very real Asmo. The problem is you can’t move on from me and you never will be able to because you’re just a weak ass pathetic loser who was just a waste of my time!” Asmoskon felt the hand move over his throat and then how it tightened. He was being choked by Hotaru yet how she couldn’t really be here she couldn’t really be doing this. Asmoskon’s mind was now a prison and the warden was the worst imagined image of his fallen love.

OOC: The Arrows that were fired off from Asmoskon have the firing ability of his bow making them lock onto Jin. When they are locked onto something the speed they travel increases by 150% so these arrows right now are moving at 750 speed.

Technique Description and Effects: This technique at first can't be distinguished from a standard Quincy arrow until after it has been fired from the bow. Once the focused arrow is fired it will split into two arrows connected to one another through a reiatsu rope. The effect of the rope allows the arrows to wrap around the target multiple times restraining them until the arrows eventually connect together and cause an explosion of reiatsu.

How to use technique: Through the normal method of creating a reiatsu based arrow with slightly additional time as well as speaking the Incantation.

Technique Drawbacks: The technique can simply be evaded through swift movements and dodging the inner spiritual connection. Only those who possess 50% more reiatsu strength or strength to the user are able to break free from the rope and free themselves once entangled.
