The rukongai was a nest of noise. From the bustle of it's inhabitants to the groans and creaks of it's buildings. From the mansions of the inner districts to the slums and waste of the outer districts. Each area had it's own sound. The utterances of it's people and the activity they exuded. It was those deeper, more melancholy sounds that allured her and yet not so deep as to sink her. No a healthy medium at the edge of the wastes. Not so far as to invite the more depraved horrors-turned-men, but rather the countryside that spoke....well, simply.
Ajraka so flourished in such a place, that did so conspire with her mischief to allow her her pleasures without suspicion raised. Of course at this very moment she found herself not filching the trinkets of the villagers, but rather at the edge of the district closer to the wilds. A rather large pool of water, a watering hole of sorts if she were to take a swing at it's categorization. But she did not care so much as to overthink it. She simply slipped into the water, clothes and all, into the pool. A brief vanish into it's depths before she surfaced and spouted a soft spritz, grinning to herself as she floated on her back, enjoying the break from the Kuchiki Manor. Of course she could not have asked for a better family to be adopted into, her fixations simply perfect for the life of a rebellious noble.
But even so, here she found herself on this fringe of society to enjoy a simpler life she had all but left behind and now only visited as were an old flame to rekindle now and again. She bothered not with keeping her wits about her, for such a setting was entirely her domain. Within a body of liquid so suitable for her slippery ways, she allowed herself relaxation, and with it a serenity that brought out that radiant grin of hers that so displayed those sharp teeth of hers as she floated, a fish snagged with tail cracked upon a rock before set upon her belly to idly pick at and chew as she relaxed. Truly she hadn't a care in the world.
