Aurora Guerrero was wandering around the desert, looking for something to do. The Tercera Espada, aka Horse Man, hadn't given her anything to do and she knew that she needed to keep training to be the strongest in Hueco Mundo. She was just walking, and for once, thinking about things. It was weird that she didn't know her Espada's name, but it wasn't a biggie for her. She liked her nickname of Horse Man. But, it was just weird the way he fought and held himself.
She knew it was because he didn't want to get dirty, but then why in the hell fight? Fighting was dirty business. She didn't picture Horse Man actually having dirty clothes. She could picture him burning anything that he deemed dirty, like a speck of dust on his clothes. She smiled and growled at that thought. It was pretty funny watching the Horse Man sneer, holding the clothing by his thumb and forefinger as far as he could away from himself, above a fire. She actually started laughing at the thought.
It was then that she got a whiff of something in the air. Her first thought was prey. She perked up immediately and went towards the nearest shadows. She walked for a few minutes until she found the hollow she was looking for. Her eyes glowed with anticipation for the feeding on this hollow. The idiot hollow didn't even know she was there. She smiled and got herself ready for the pounce. Once she was sure that the prey wouldn't run away, she jumped, ending the hollow with one broken neck. She stood up and dusted off the dirt.
Since she was now the Tercera's Fraccion, he had told her about how she represented him out in the field. He wanted to make sure that she was on her best at all times and whatnot. So, she made sure that she would get most of the dust off when she did things like that. Next, she dealt with the dead body. It smelled so delicious and she couldn't help herself. She started with the head and worked down. After about fifteen minutes of eating, she had finally eaten all of it. She grabbed one of the arm bones to pick out little bits that got stuck.
She then looked down and saw that she was covered with blood. She needed to try to get all of this blood off. So, she walked around the desert, picking her teeth and growling with satisfaction. She happened upon a small pond. Since she loved water so much, she couldn't help it but just jump into it. It came up to her waist, so the pond was three feet deep. She took this time to actually take a bath, taking off her top doing so, so she could clean her shirt. She completely submerged herself and lounged in the pond. She was killing two birds with one stone, getting clean and cleaning her outfit. She then got out of the pond and moon bathed, letting her clothes dry out.
Vannan looked around the desert and sighed, he had gotten split up from his group after that hollow attack. He had been sent with a few members of the Vandenreich to hunt down some weak arrancar's to force them to join the Vandenreich. The mission would be simple, however none of them expected a Vasto lord to appear and attack them as soon as they arrived there in the desert of Las Noches. The creature was horribly disfigured and attacked at random. Vannan was the first to run away, he didn't want to deal with something like that on this mission. While he ran he could hear the sounds of the other Vandenreich members fighting and fleeing. A roar from the Vasto lord howled out into the night as he ran away. That was over an hour ago, after ten minuets of running he couldn't sense it anymore nor could he sense the presence of any of his fellow allies.
He had rested for a bit before he continued his walk into the vastness of the desert. Slowly counting away the time he had left for this mission. Two hours remaned before they all had to report back to the base. From the start this mission had been a failure, however he wasn't about to just ignore orders and leave right away. Vannan remembered one lieutenant who did that, they ended up dead, killed by a captain, they showed no mercy to the man. He himself had too much to protect and do to be killed like a dog who bit his masters. So he continued onward into the desert hoping that something would happen to kill some time.
From out of nowhere he heard the sounds of splashing water. This caught his attention as he was in a desert and there shouldn't be any water around for miles. Curious he decided to follow the sounds of the splashes. Climbing over the sand dunes he saw that there was a small oasis, along with what was making the splashes, it was a woman, but not just any woman she was nude there in the water and given the fact that she had a hollow hole she was an arrancar. He wasn't going to lie to himself she was cute and the fact that he had to kill time before he had to go back to the base without raising up any suspicion was another factor in him deciding that he was going to flirt with her. Standing on a sand dune above the small puddle of water he spoke to her. He still had on his sunglasses, as they had become part of his everyday clothing.“Hey cutie how about we go skinny dipping? Seems like you're ahead of me already on that so wait up till I can get out of my clothes.”

Aurora was waiting for herself to dry off when she sensed something that was fairly close by. She hadn't felt a presence like this before. It didn't feel like another of her kind, or of a shinigami. She was curious what other types of people could actually come here. She then sniffed the air to see if she could immediately sniff any difference about this person. Once she sniffed, she could tell that this person smelled somewhat like a human, but the scent was different.
It was different enough for her to tell that this person wasn't completely human. She didn't know much of the human races, so this would be interesting. She turned her head, she saw a man standing on a sand dune overlooking her in her little oasis. He was wearing some dark things over where his eyes would be and she heard him say cutie how about we go skinny dipping. She was ahead of him already so wait for him till he can get his clothes off.
She screwed her face up a little at that. First off, no one has ever called her cutie before, except when she was alive and that she barely remembers. Second, she had no idea what skinny dipping was. She assumed it was swimming with no clothes on. Weird that this man called it that instead of something simpler, like naked swimming. She thought that too many people over complicated things. She looked at her shirt, to see if it was dry.
It wasn't completely dry yet, but she shook it out a few times and then put her arms in the holes, not buttoning it up yet. She pulled on her fingerless, leather gloves and stared at this man. "Well, I'm done swimming for the moment. If you really wanted to do what your suggesting, you should've just run down to the water and jumped in. You humans are weird for sure." She growled low in her throat while she shook the sand off of the rest of her clothes.
"Why are you even talking to me? I thought that my race was the enemy of everybody. I bet you're breaking rules talking to me. That is very interesting actually.." She thought about it. She grabbed her zanpaktou and strapped it back to her waist. She took it off before she jumped in the water. She turned to face the man and slowly started to button her shirt back up. If he did come down and face her, she would definitely have fun with him. She growled at that thought, wondering what this human would do next.
“You were human once too, or at least someone as cute as you should have been.” He smiled at this arrancar and watched her put her clothing on. It was a bit upsetting to see her getting dressed. He really hoped that they could of gone skinny dipping for a bit. However it seemed that this arrancar wasn't going to comply with his idea. So he had to quickly drop that approach and figure out if it was worth fighting her, or trying to talk.
He took out his phone and snapped a picture of the arrancar as she finished getting dressed. He smiled at how well it came out, given at how crass this arrancar was. The picture made her look actually cute and delicate. “Heh I may be breaking rules, but what's life without breaking a rule here or there, hot stuff?” He took a step back and made sure there was some distance between him and her and that he had his sun glasses on. Given at how she reacted and how his other encounters with arrancar went it was only a matter of time before she tired to attack him.

This human man told her that she was human once, or should've been since she was so cute. He smiled at her and she just glared at him with her golden eyes. This man was acting a bit crazy for her. She grabbed her braid and squeezed some of the water out of her hair and then shook her head a few times to get a bit more of the water out. She now felt clean and refreshed. She then rolled her head around to loosen herself up. She then moved her arms in front of her, out to her sides and then to her front, to stretch them out.
She saw that this human snapped a picture of her while he thought she wasn't looking. He then said he was breaking the rules but what was life without breaking a rule. He then called her hot stuff. She wasn't feeling hot right now, so it was weird that he would mention something like this. She unsheathed her sword and glared at him. "I'm getting bored and since you're here, we should fight." She then bent her legs up to stretch them out to get ready for the upcoming fight.
She started to walk closer to this man with her sword unsheathed. She was trying to figure out what kind of weapon he could use against her, but she didn't see anything. She held her sword in her right hand, with the sword horizontal, blade facing outwards towards the man. The grip would be underhanded, palm of her hand facing upwards. This man was definitely interesting. She saw him use something, pointed it at her, smiled and then put it in a pocket. She growled.
She ran towards the man, and when she was a sword's length away, instead of going for a horizontal cut, she quickly ducked. While she ducked, she slashed out at the man's legs. At least, that's how it would appear. Once her sword was about to touch his legs, she would do a feint, flicking her wrist up to change the horizontal slash into a vertical one, aiming to hit him from his legs up to his face. "What was that thing you pointed at me? I haven't left the desert since I arrived here."
"I'm getting bored and since you're here, we should fight.”
A small sigh escaped from his lips as he heard these words come out from her mouth. It seemed as if all arrancars had the same tendency for needless violence when there wasn't a need for it. He didn't attempt to attack her when he first met her so he didn't understand why she wanted to fight. There were much better ways to pass time. Still if this arrancar wanted a fight he was going to make her work for it. If everything went to plan he could tire out this arrancar and then force her into the gate to be converted.
Without making a noticeable movement he slid to the left of where he was, avoiding her attack entirely and leaving her slashing at the thin air. How had he managed such a feat? It was the ability movement. Something he had picked up from another quincy, Gerald. The man was interesting, he had such a dedication to the emperor and the Vandenreich and believed that they did good, it was rather different than the way he saw the organization he was in. There was nothing good about the Vandenreich, yes they gave a home to the quincies, but what they made them do was horrific.
As he finished moving he turned to face the arrancar that had swung her blade at the air. “Can't seem to hit me huh ?” A soft smile was across his face as he spoke those words. Yes he was mocking this arrancar, but only because he could sense that he could beat her with ease. Her attack really didn't seem to have much thought behind it, at least to him. Random swings at him, if he wanted he could of fired off arrows from where he was and shoot her down there and then, but that wouldn't be any fun at all, no toying around with this arrancar for a bit would be the best way to kill time.
Her next words made him tilt his head, she had never seen a phone before? This wasn't the first time that someone had made a mention to his as to what a phone was, never the less the idea of not knowing it was very odd to him. It was so common place in his world that there wasn't a time he could think of not knowing what a cellphone was. Maybe the other worlds were really that out of touch with the human world. It was really interesting to see people's reactions to new technology, even if they didn't quite understand what some things were it always allowed him to exchange a few more words. “It's a phone silly, you can take pictures with it and that's what I did.” His quincy cross drew in some reiatsu for him as he smiled
(Remaning reiatsu 1775/1500 + 300 from the quincy cross - 25 for movement .)

Aurora watched as, so far, her attack was going great. But, it seemed like right when she was about to throw in her ace in the hole, the little fucker just moved out of the way. She growled low in her throat at that. So, he was going to play this little game of cat and mouse. She would be running trying to catch him. Well, she would not play that game with him, especially when she wasn't even in the right mood for that sort of thing anyway.
When he was done showing off his movement, he looked back at her while she started to stand up. He smiled while he talked so condescendingly towards her. All she did was glare at the man. She showed off her teeth. She could tell from his stance that he already thought the battle was won in his favor. Predators did have to learn the body language of their prey before they could best find the right opening to strike. What she was reading was no different.
She would see how this man acted before trying anything so bold again. Well, at least try to do it that way. Her anger was starting to boil at this point. He was just standing there and the tilting of the head was annoying. He then explained that what he used was a phone and you could take pictures with it. It was now her turn to cock her head to the side, puzzled. It was true that she rarely left this place. But, when she was in the human world, she never paid anything attention to the prey.
It seemed that the world really had changed since she had lived there. But, she didn't like the way this was going and the smug attitude he was taking. She growled lower this time, showing him her teeth. She knew that he was going to try to keep moving out of the way, so she needed to try to take his legs from him or maybe an arm. She needed to injure him badly enough to where he couldn't fight anymore. She put her sword up in the standard guard, tip towards left shoulder, hilt towards right hip. She stood at him sideways, right side facing, waiting for him to mess up.
Keeping the smile he had on his face he watched the arrancar take a defensive stance. She didn't charge at him right away nor did she make an attempt to attack him again. She just stood there waiting for him. He put his phone away and let out a small laugh at her display of trying to be serious. Really all this was doing was making him want to get this silly fight over and head back to the base. She had a fierce look in her eyes yet his were calm and peaceful. Then a thought came into his mind.
He had been in this situation before, in the same desert with another arrancar, however at that time the situation was reversed. He was the one with rage filled eyes while her's were calm. He had made the mistake of attacking in rage and causing great pain to her. He didn't know if she was still alive after what he did to her, he doubted it. Being barraged by countless arrows, turning the white sand crimson under her and the fact that it seemed as if she was choking on her blood made him doubt her continued existence. If she did he hoped that she kept his old Vandenreich jacket. He didn't want to make the same mistake that he did before. He didn't want this to end up like that encounter.
Him remembering that made him laugh a bit at how now the situation was reversed on him, but unlike that encounter he was sure he was still stronger than this arrancar. He didn't sense any danger from her, yes she still had the ability to burn away his flesh by just touching him, yet she was slower than him and he could take her out at any moment, or at least that's how he felt. He had so many options to use to attack with. His own basic arrows were just as fast as him, along with that he could use the ring or even the gun he had gotten from the Vandenreich. So many options to use to strike her down, however he saw that this might be a chance to practice with some new items.
With that in mind he raised one hand and formed a small bow in his right hand. The bow it's self was similar to a cross bow. Normally he never used this version of his bow given the limitations it had, but he figured that if he used his normal one the fight would be over too quick. With the distance between them at least twenty feet he was confident in this action he was going to take. His arm moved upwards as he looked at her still with that same stance. From there he fired off one arrow from his side bow towards he lower left leg. The moment she moved to dodge that arrow or block it he would fire another one towards the center of her chest.
Remaning reiatsu (1755/1500 - 20 for two class six arrows fired from his sidebow.)

Aurora watched the Quincy while she was in her defensive stat. While she did this, she was completely thinking out how this fight was going to go. All the while she was doing this, she glared at the man. She had never really been put in such a horrible situation before. It was a situation that never should've been started, now that she thinks back on it, but still. She didn't think that the fight would be going so horrible this quickly.
She knew that the reiatsu this man held was a lot more than hers. She could even feel the strength from this man. It was definitely a lot stronger than hers. She was trying to figure out what kind of actions she could do that would actually injure the man. From just strength alone, she would have no chance to do that. The only thing that would happen would be her getting injured or worse, why he was just left unscathed. She would not allow that to happen.
When he started to laugh, she just growled a little louder at him. How dare he laugh like that?! Though, when he did that, she was curious what was so funny as to make him laugh like that. But, she needed to figure a way out of this mess before it got too out of hand. She just kept thinking, trying to see any kind of weak spots she could use against the man. Sadly, no weak spots were obvious on him. It also seemed like his reiatsu was growing.
Frist, that didn't even seem possible. But, she didn't know much about Quincies. So, she assumed it could be possible that he could just do that. Anyway, she knew of only one way she could get out. She cursed herself for even thinking like that, but she had no other choice. She was no match for the man and she needed to get a way out. This would be a mistake that she never talked about again. She started to run in the opposite direction of the man, sheathing her sword as she went.
The two arrows he fired did hit this arrancar, it was sad to see such a feirce face run in terror from him. Was the guard she had just a front for how weak she really was? As his arrows did strike her he shook his head and sighed, it really was a shame to see a life being taken down so easily, but that was how the world worked. Only the strong lived and the weak died. If the weak were lucky they would get a quick and painless death, but this arrancar wasn't so lucky.
The first arrow had hit her right next to her heart while the second one struck her right where her liver should be. Both of these were killing blows however she would bleed out slowly. It was a cruel thing to do, but Vannan had to make sure she wasn't going to be able to fight back when he drag her back to the Vandenreich base to let the others convert her, that was if he was going to take her. Given at how weak she was he didn't know if it was even worth his time to present them with her.
Vannan watched as the sand started to turn blood red. He stood there silent, thinking what his next action was, not enough time had passed to let head back, yet the only arrancar he had met wasn't even strong enough to last more than a few minutes against him in a fight. Compared to the stronger members of the Vandenreich he was a pushover, so that made him wonder if this arrancar who had a temper was going to be useful or not.
The longer he thought about it the more he decided on it not being a good idea to take her to the base. If she did become a quincy who knows how she would act around the superiors. If she gave that sort of tone to Caesar she might end up on a crucifix. That thought sent a shudder down his spine because he had a feeling if she ended up on one he would too for bringing her into the Vandenreich.
Turning to face the arrancar, “hey look sorry I'm going to have to leave you there, it was your fault for trying to pick a fight with me, but I guess I could end your pain quickly.” Vannan smiled as he took a step backwards along with a deep breath. A mercy killing wasn't something he wanted to do. Any kind of killing wasn't something he wanted to do, but he didn't know how weak she had been, if he did he wouldn't of fired off two arrows at her.
His side bow vanished as his real bow formed in his hands. He pulled back and knotted two more arrows. The first one was aimed at her head dead center to her brain, the other one was going to strike her heart. This way she would die instantly, no more pain, no more thinking, no more being angry. It would all vanish just like her soul, just like all the souls quincies destroyed.
Vannan let the arrows go and turned away as they went to target, he didn't want to watch a soul vanish into nothingness. Without even seeing that he killed her he started to walk away from the bloodstained oasis and back into the never ending desert of Las Noches. This fight was over, however each day would bring a new one. This time he walked away from it, however who knows how much longer he would be on this side, his luck was bound to run out and when that happened he knew he would pay for it.
(OOC: Dancer said she wanted to end this fight and do a rematch. She ran away and forgot about my arrows I talked with her in PC about my post. Fight over.)
