Blood Type: [0+]
RP Sample (Optional): [See Kitai Yoru or Jikken Kaze]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: [6'0/180]
Physical Description:
Imp is an average looking young man. Or was anyway. Now he's all glowy glowy, with traits often seen in, or on, other races. He stands six feet tall, but I already mentioned that. Imp's skin is a pale white that glows whenever he gets emotional. This tends to make it hard for him to play poker; he glows whenever he gets a bad hand, and that kind of sucks, when you're playing poker. His hair also has the glowy glowy highlights that all the teenage hooligans want, just to piss of their parents. His hair is short, covering his forehead, leaving his ears exposed, and stopping right before the base of his neck. He can make this part of him glow different colors on will. He's also Caucasian.
Speaking of eyes, his right eye is like his hair. And skin.... It glows. It glows a deep, royal purple. His left eye, unlike the rest of his everything, does not glow. His eye is black, with a yellow iris and a green pupil. The eye highly represents that of a hollow, mainly because of the incident that caused his death. This man dresses in mostly darker colors, like blue. Or purple. Maybe black if it's a cold day.
He doesn't like wearing white. When he does, everyone always stops him and asks, 'Hey dude, you look sick, you should put a shirt on.' And he responds with, 'Yo, dude. I am already wearing a shirt. What's your problem?' Then they back off because he starts glowing red, looking like he's about to explode, scaring the **** out of everyone. Then the cops show up with a bomb squad. That was the last time he ever wore a white shirt. Ever. That was also the last day that guy ever commented on other peoples shirts. Because when you comment on shirts, people try to kill you by exploding. Lesson learned.
His face tends to be in an indifferent frown when he's alone, seemingly bored when he's by his lonesome. This is because he never gets any sleep. It is torture to fall asleep when you're always glowy glowy. It's like having a nightlight on all the time. Only in your eyes. All the time. When with friends he tends to smile a bit more, but not often. His teeth shine like high beams when he smiles, and that just pisses people off. So he frowns. Like that sad clown without the makeup. That is how Impo do.

-Personality-
Dislikes: [First thing that Impo doesn't like is glow sticks. One need not think too hard at the reason why, since he glows all the time.
Number two would be people commenting on his clothing. Don't comment on his clothing. He's sensitive about it.
Three. Hmm. Lets think here. Got it. Bugs. Every night, they just fly right into him, thinking he's some sort of bug zapper. It gets really annoying.
Four. Four are those freaking kids that bug Imp for glowing all the time. Then they run off and call the cops when he tells them to eff off. They scream way too loud when running away. Hurts his ears.
The cops are five, for previously mentioned reasons. Getting shot at for looking like an alien is not fun.]
Likes: [One would be his 'flood'. It lets him do so many cool things! Like, get a beer without getting off the couch! Or getting the remote from wherever he put it.
Two can be that he likes fireworks, and explosions in general. From very far away. Don't want to get hurt or anything like that.
Third would be freaking the crap out of people with said flood. Then he gets sad because he starts smiling and flashes people with his high beam smile.
Four is teleporting. Yeah, everyone loves doing that.
Number five is breaking things with his powers. Moving things really high up, then letting them fall is pretty fun.]
Flaws: [Well he explodes, so I guess that's one.
Two. Glowing all the time makes it a pain be stealthy. Or go unnoticed. Kinda makes life in general tough.
Three is that he glows a different color depending on his mood, and can't play poker. He used to really like poker. Makes it hard to do when you glow like a mood ring.
Forth would be that he's kinda sensitive about the fact that he glows, and sort of.... snaps at whoever brings it up. So watch out for that.
Fifth. Ya see... He doesn't know that he died. And he's in complete denial too. Anyone that tells him that he's dead, will just be brushed off as some guy trying to mess with his head. And failing. Because they're f***ing idiots.
SIXTH would be that he can't cook anything other than meatloaf since he started glowing. And by 'can't cook anything else', I mean that anything he tries to cook, somehow turns into meatloaf. It was pretty funny when he learned this little fact.]
Habits: [He tends to use his flood to do things he doesn't feel like doing. Getting the remote, moving things; basically he uses it to be lazy.
Two would be breaking things. Like mentioned before, making things explode is fun.
Three. Not letting anything interrupt him while he's eating. You try to attack him and he'll just keep eating. He'll probably stop your attacks with his flood though.
Four is that he doesn't attack first. Pick on kids? Sure. Proving that he's stronger with his flood? Totally. But outright attack you? Not before you do.
Five. He loves insulting others. Stronger, faster, smarter? WHO CARES!? If they're in his way, he won't hesitate to insult them with even the lowest of blows.]
Fears: [First would be getting hit or hurt. If you need to guess why after all the time I said he explodes, then I almost feel bad for you.
Two. He is afraid of how people see him, and always reads too far into little, and big things. "Oh hey, how are you glowing like that?" A comment like that will f*** with his head for, like, three hours, sending him spiraling into a depression that can only be cured by a few tubs of ice-cream.
NUMBER THREE! He is terrified of Hueco Mundo. If he's in the hollow realm, he'll be constantly searching his surroundings for anything. He can stand to be there for a few minutes, but after awhile he starts to freak out, desperate to escape the world. The dimension just feels.... wrong to him. Like every shadow is trying to consume him, snuff out his light. ]
Goals: [First and foremost is to figure out how the f*** to stop glowing all the time!. It's bad enough that people keep mistaking him for a alien, but he's beginning to suspect that it's starting to attract dead dudes. They're really getting annoying.
Secondly, figure out how to NOT cook meatloaf. It gets annoying eating it for every meal, and it isn't cheap to eat out every night.
Third.... learn about what the samurai lookin dudes are talking about. They keep coming and coming, calling him a failure.... It's really depressing!]
Alignment: [chaotic neutral, doing whatever the **** he wants.]
Overall Personality: [Impo is an odd man.... Ghost.... Whatever, he's odd. He's always been a dreamer, always wanting to look at the clouds, but never at the road in front of him. He always tried to smile around others, trying to fit in. He never really thought he fit in though. He was very emotional, getting angry, sad, or plain happy pretty easily. But he's also self conscious, and is prone to depression, or simple rage. Still, he hides it to try and fit in with everyone else.
That is, until this happened. With the way he is now, everyone not related to spiritual is going to fear him. Man, woman, child; they'll all shun him and despise his differences in the end. So instead of holding his emotions back for the sake of blending in... he just lets them go. If he's feeling angry, he shows it. If he gets sad.... well he till hides that, but only because of pride. Guy stuff. And when he's happy, he smiles. And when he smiles, blinding lights happen and then more depression. Sucks.
While he does wear his emotions on his sleeve now, so to speak, he does tend to try and seem emotionless around people he cares about, how uncommon that would be. He prefers keeping people at a distance. He was never social, and even death seems not to have changed that about him. Not that dying would help you be more social.... hard to talk to people when you're dead.... You know, other then those guys with the crystal balls and junk.
Quick to anger, hard to maintain happy, and falls to depression easy. Describes him pretty well I think. Still, if there's any good side to this, it's that he's finally got what he wanted. A way out. Nothing to keep him down, no rules that he has to follow. Only him against the world, and with the powers he's gained, he's gonna fight to keep this freedom, even if death itself comes after him. Still, he's also a very forgiving person. If he feels that someone is truly sorry about something, he can still forgive them, unless it's something extremely bad. Like commenting on his shirts.]

-Powers-
Fighting Style: [As a failure, hand to hand fighting is extremely stupid. Unless you want to just nuke your enemy once they smack you, but that isn't really fighting. That's noob tubing. Noob. As a failure, he is almost completely dependent on his flood, and the abilities that come with it. But you can't write abilities in this section, so yeah. Since melee combat is a no-go, he uses his flood to attack, defend, and even to move about.
He generally keeps his flood wrapped around his body, providing him with a decent defense. When he attacks, he tends to do either one of two things. The first is sending out tiny, softball size pieces to attack enemies. He keeps them attached to strings for it's ability. The second is pretty much the same thing, except instead of that, they're just tentacle arms. Whipping at multiple opponents, again for the flood's ability.
So we got the defense that can also attack things. I think were almost done this section. Just need one more thing. In fights, he acts cocky, thinking that his flood's defense is unbreakable, and that if they can break it, he'll still win. He tends to dodge and attack when his opponent looks tired, or if he sees an opening. If he gets mad, he may just send half his flood to attack in front of him, while he attacks from a distance away, waiting for an opening to attack with the other half of his flood.]
Reiatsu Property: [[His flood's ability is that, anything that touches it, can be moved to any other area of his flood. This includes his flood, being able to move some of it's mass, to another area of it. This has a few limitations though. For one, he can only people with his rs, or less. He can only move something that touches his flood as a whole, not as individual chunks. He can also change that direction of the thing it moves, once it is moved.
So, say if a bullet is shot at his flood, and he can see it coming; he could potentially redirect the bullet to another direction. But something like that is only possible if he sees the attack coming. And by see, I mean has the senses to detect it, and the instinct to move his flood. When focused, he can make his flood to draw things in as well, be it people it touches, or anything else that touches it.The speed in which he can move objects with is flood is at most 5000 speed. To Impo, it seem instant, but it is merely moving faster than he can currently perceive at the moment.
Moving at this speed can be can be dangerous, and tricky to use though. For one, it only moves things with his instinct. That means, unless he has a high instinct, he can only move things in straight lines. At a higher instinct, let's say 500, he'd be able to curve an object's movement, if only a bit. At roughly double that, he would be able to to turn on object on a dime. Another thing is that he can't move anything outside of his flood, or through anything that's inside it. He can't fling something going at that speed, but he can crash two things onto each other. When anything moved by his flood, stops, without crashing into something, the momentum they gained from the flood is negated, and resume the momentum they had before touching the flood.
He could move it high up with his flood and drop it, or re-direct something that's moving, but not directly throw it. His ability also counts as his class in clash cases. He is able to move someone that is equal or lesser class than him. If someone has a higher class, than the standard clash would take effect. Impo must also spend 200 reiatsu to move himself with his flood, and is only able to do so every other second post, or every 2 posts after he uses it. For everything else, it costs 20 reiatsu to move things per post, per object.]
-History-
Birthplace: [United States of America]
Current Residence: [Some forest in the mountains.]
Memorable Figures: [John Striker. Dude's a pretty cool dude. Never stares at me or comments on the glowing. Wonder why? Has been a friend to Impo for several years, even before his death.]
History: [There is something to be said about living a 'normal' life. The first thing most people might say, is that it's boring. They would rather be the mighty adventurer, slaying the dragon, saving the prissiness, that old shtick. There are others who would prefer to be pampered all their lives, not having to work hard on anything. The hardest they'd want to think would be, 'do I want to relax in the hot tub, or have the five course meal with my golden silverware?' Dreams would obviously differ from person to person, but the theme is always the same; 'I want to be someone else'. They rarely ever stop to think about what they'd be giving up.
This is how this man lived his life. He went around, doing the best he could at work, in school, acting like anyone else would expect him to. He looked plain, blended in with crowds, just another face that you would skip over. On the inside though, he always dreamed. He wanted to fight the bad guys, show that he couldn't be stopped. He wanted to show the world how strong he was. But.... couldn't do that. He was just another guy, except for one, very important detail. He had an abnormally large amount of spiritual pressure. And he loved to use it.
This fact had not escaped his notice. Even at a young age, he realized that he could affect other people with his anger. The more worked up he got, the more the people were affected. He used to practice this often. He used to try this every day when he was a boy. He was so caught up with this, that he never stopped to think of what it might be doing to the world around him, to the people he was affecting. He tends to grieve over things like this, or whenever he thinks about it.
He was about 14 when his life changed for the worse. During the last classes of the school year, he had begun his 'training' on his classmates. He loved it when he got funny reactions. When he focused hard enough, he could make people feel like they've been hit. It was the end of the rear, so he decided to get a bit risky. Scowling in concentration, he forced out his spiritual pressure to affect the entire class. It took a second of concentration to do, but he finally got it to work. In an instant, all the others on the room felt heavier. Then they started to feel pained by the pressure. The teacher was the only one who wasn't affected.
She had been writing something on the white board when she felt it. Her eyes widened in surprise as she whipped around, searching for her student that was doing this. She was not an ordinary teacher by any means. She had was apart of an organization known as the 'anti-afterlife'. It was a branch of the military made to deal with hollow attacks, since the 'shinigami' were scarce in the states. Anyway, finding the student responsible was beyond easy; he was the only one wasn't groaning in pain at this point. She glared a harsh glare at the boy, which was returned with much anger.
"Stop that right now." She told him in a calm, yet assertive tone of voice. He didn't respond for a few seconds, so she responded by focusing her own spiritual pressure on the boy. His eyes widened, and he reined in his power. She looked around, trying to access the damage that he had caused. All the students had fainted from the spiritual attack. Sighing in frustration, he glared at the now nervous looking student. "What were you thinking!?" She nearly yelled at him, barely keeping her own anger in check. "No, wait, that's right, you WEREN'T thinking!"
The boy was almost terrified. He never expected that there would be someone else with powers like his. Worse still, that her's were stronger than his own. If he weren't so surprised at this, he might have been shaking. The rant she was going on wasn't helping matters. Never a fun thing to be yelled by by a teacher. Trying to compose himself, he hardened his face, waiting for her to finish. He didn't have to wait long, as the final bell rang, somehow waking all the students from their slumber.
"Well that was convenient..." He muttered under his breath. He decided to stay behind as the other students filed out the door. They were gone in less than a minute, rushing out the door in a sluggish manner. They hurried because they wanted to be out of the building, but sluggish because of what the boy did. The murmured about falling asleep randomly. The teacher glared at the boy even harder than she was previously. The students were gone now, and the classroom was all but silent, with only the sound being the students shuffling out in the halls.
The teacher started the conversation. "How long have you had your powers?" She asked bluntly, trying to pressure him. For what end, who knows. Not letting himself be intimidated a second time, he responds curtly. "Since I was four." The two simply glared at each other for a minute. The teacher was irritated, but whether it was from from him nearly hurting her students, or the fact that she, and none of the other 'special' staff have never noticed this kid's powers before.
Probably a mixture of both.
She sighed a heavy sigh, letting some of the tension ease out of the room. She wasn't sure what this brat was trying to do, but she had a feeling that he wasn't trying to kill the students. "Why were you even trying th-" She stared intently at the wall behind her student, apparently sensing something. Something very bad. The boy felt it not a second later. It was a heavy, hollow-like spiritual pressure. The weird part was that it, somehow, made them feel hungry, like they were starving.
The teacher began to run out of the room, but it was too late. There was an explosion of pure Reiryoku. In an instant, it practically disintegrated anything too weak. The teacher was considered a strong person by her peers. She was only just strong enough and only just fast enough to only wind up with some broken bones and a concussion, after putting up a barrier for herself. Her student.... was not that lucky.
He, unlike his teacher, didn't even get a chance to posses what happened before he was killed. His body reduced to something less than ash, in the new crater in their school. What was left of the school began to crumble apart, with next to none left on the building, save for a few powerful teachers that managed to survive. In the end, the survivors survived, and the building completely fell to pieces. To this day, no one knows what happened, except the one responsible for the deed, going by the name, John Striker.
Unfortunately for our dead student, death is only the beginning. And this was his opening chapter.
It was dark for him, yet there was a warm feeling all over his body. In fact, it was getting warmer, and warmer to the point it was starting to get hot. Painfully hot. He woke up with a yelp, trying to put out whatever it was that was burning him. He opened his eyes, and took in the scene around him, forgetting his previous pain. He looked around in wonder. No, that isn't quite the word for it. It was more like panic, with him wondering just where the heck he was.
He tried recalling how he got here, but he came up blank. His memory was blurry, like a thick veil of fog was hiding the truth. It annoyed him to no end. All he could remember clearly was how to use his spiritual energy. For some reason, he wasn't to bothered by this. Almost as if his body was telling him, 'this is natural, all that matters is here on out'. Not thinking he was a guy to hold on to the past, he chose to go along with the feeling.
He got up from where he was laying, and began to leave the place where his old school laid in ruin. It took him awhile, but he finally managed the feat. It was dark out, seemingly around midnight, yet for some reason, he could see everything around him clearly. "T-t-t-t-that's imp-p-p-possible!" He heard someone barely stutter out. He turned towards where he heard the voice come from. He saw a few kids, staring at him in horror and shock. He stared back, a quizzical expression on his face.
"[smear:#c0c0c0]Umm, hi?[/smear:008080]" He said as he lightly waved to the children. All he got in response was a few high pitched screams and frightened children as they ran away. "[smear:#c0c0c0]Huh? Stupid kids. Wonder what their deal is.[/smear:#008080]" He said to himself, not noticing that he was glowing a rainbow of different colors at that moment. He continued walking, trying to find someplace to eat. "[smear:#c0c0c0]I'm too hungry for this crap. Feels like I haven't eaten in three years.[/smear:#008080]" He guesses accurately, as he walked through the first night of his new life after death.[/ul]
