The squad Two barracks were the stuff of legend. You did not talk to squad two, you did not ask for things from the punishment force. When Squad two wished to speak to you, they called you. Depending on the time of day, the barracks could be a bevy of social activity and light-hearted jest, or a ghost town, filled with the silent wraiths that inhabited the squad.
That being said, Ajraka was completely unaware that she was entering the territory of the squad. Being a particularly sneaky animal, relying on her instincts and natural skill at stealth to make her way into the area. Whether or not she'd been detected was completely unknown to her, and quite frankly she didn't give a damn if she'd been detected or not. She was Ajraka fucking Kuchiki. While she'd not had any experience in being in the area, her natural curiosity had drawn her in.
The first thing she ran into was a small pond. A KOI pond. It did not take very long for her to enter the water, and even less time to completely ignore the wooden poles that littered the pond. Typically it was a pond used for exercising silence, the object being to pass from one end of the rather enormous pond without causing a single ripple, or disturbing the koi. Needless to say, she succeeded in the first objective, but blew the second objective a new anus as she made a beeline for the nearest swarm of koi and sought to latch her teeth into the closest one, oblivious to any potential outward observers. As usual she was in her default attire, of various belts, a set of shorts, and what barely qualified as a shirt.
It was a warm, clear day in the Soul Society. 'Swimsuit Weather', some people call it. And this was indeed true. From her position on top of the Squad 2 Barracks, she saw five different Shinigami wearing bikinis under their uniform. Of course, Katrina want judging; she was doing the exact same thing. It was just too hot to do anything hot. Hundred degree weather was rare, but it always unexpected.
She was unseen; quickly, she slunk down the building and across the street, to the grassy field that bordered the barracks. Trees soon blocked her from sight, and she gave a sigh of relief. "It is just too hot for anything today ..." Absently, she dropped her outermost layer of clothing, the heavy black material falling heavily to the ground, followed quickly by a black two piece, the brassier covering her small breasts entirely.
And then she ran; her destination was close. A meditation pond, used to train silence and stealth. It also happened to have the coldest waters in the entire Soul Society, which made it perfect for days like today. As she ran, she weaved, jumped, and ducked her way through the forest, her feet making no nose on the thin layer of rotted leaves. She was there in a matter of moments.
But there was already somebody there; not just a person, what looked like a ... beaver? Maybe an otter. Katrina never was any good at biology. But ... icy blue eyes narrowed. Only Squad Two members are allowed in this pool of water. "Get out."

Ajra was having the time of her life in the pond. Being a bit on the warm side with her thick fur, she had to be in water to stay cool. As a result the cold water just felt amazing. Not to mention the koi were DELICIOUS. Lovely morsels that she chomped into and crunched up in so delicious a manner. They wriggled and swam around, used to silence an actual predator among them was terrifying and she oh so enjoyed being the terror to the fishies. Slipping soundlessly out of the water as someone was speaking at it, at first she ignored the voice seeing as well, she didn't understand english, and didn't even talk. She could make it SOUND like she was talking, but eally all that came out was a bunch of random syllables.
With one of the fish in hand she simply cracked the aquatic animal's head over the rock, killing it before iting into it, chewing softly before turning and noticing the scantily dressed girl, a shameless smile spreading over her face as she slipped back into the pool and simply seemed to vanish. Untrained as she was she was actually quite good at disappearing, and considering the depth of the pond she was able to hide out at the very bottom, until even the koi soon forgot about her being there and simply began swimming about as usual as she watched the surface of the pond from her lower vantage area.
She wanted to see if the human would hop in to join her. She could hold her breath for a pretty long time, and was feeling more playful than anything else, she had even left all of her stolen goods back at her hidey hole so her belts were not adorned with shiny objects as they usually were. And she was waiting. Once she got the first sign of the shinigami, she would make sure to explode out of the water in an attempt to latch onto them and give them a very cold hug. Of course this hug was not completely innocent, as she would also be patting the girl down ever-so-discretely for anything shiny. And considering how rare anti-theivery as a skill was, she was confident in her ability to do so, but then again she wasn't exactly the most subtle of beings. It would soon become very clear that the girl, while intelligent, had absolutely no communication skills. Pretty big deal for a Kuchiki adoptee, then it was possible nobody outside the family even knew about her being adopted yet.
