Thread Title: Kalte vs Kubi [NDE, R] Participants: Kalte Ignus, Kubi Tsuru World: Human World Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: G Location: Just a random grassy field. Special Conditions: Circumstances: They just happened to be there for whatever reason.
This was no good. No good at all. Supposedly, there was an Arrancar somewhere around here, though why the fuck an Arrancar would be here, in the middle Hicktown, US-fucking-A is a goddamn mystery. Where exactly this god forsaken place was is a fuckin' mystery to him, just that its someplace in the USA.
'Prolly Ohio. Place is a fuckin' ghost town." He glanced back; he had two lower officers with him, both of whom were currently searching around a clump of bushes. Kubi sighed. He had forgotten hos stupid underlings can be. As the newly appointed Squad 3 Vice Captain, he has to deal with this stuff a lot.
"Oy, y' fuckin' morons. F'r th' las' fuckin' time, hes a goddamned Arrancar, not no snake. He ain' gonna be hidin' in a clump o' bushes." Both of them looked at him, appropriately sheepish. Kubi gave a scoff. Morons. "I'm fuckin' hungry. Both of ya, go get me a Double QP." They looked at him aghast; the nearest town wasn't for ten miles. But they knew better than to argue with Kubi.
He watched their retreating backs with a smirk. 'That oughta get 'em outta m' hair f'r a li'l bit.' The Arrancar they were searching for wasn't supposed to be that strong, barely seated officer level. "Still, ya never know." Despite how he acted, Kubi cared greatly for those under his command; they just piss him off all the time.
'Now where th' fuck'd that bast'rd go?!" For todays mission, Kubi had chosen a pure black buttoned Tee, with a silvery wolf howling on the breast. It was unbuttoned, showing off a decent expanse of his muscled chest. Around his neck hung a metal chain, upon which swing his badge, signifying his rank as Vice Captain of Squad 3. A belt hung on his waist, upon which hung two zanpakutou, Joo Bachi and Zola. And though it can't be seen, Metis, chained gloves invisible to the naked eye and touch, were clsd on his hands. This was gonna be a fun one; he can feel it.

Kalte knew he was being hunted, and it wasn’t that hard to figure that out. If I was searching for someone, Kalte thought, I surely wouldn’t want to be as obvious about it as those three. When one of the shinigami (for it was fairly obvious what race they were) barked at the others to go find him food, Kalte saw his chance. Maybe he could convince this man to simply leave him be, to go off and let Kalte be alone. The espada had come here simply to try and get inspiration from nature for his art, as was his usual purpose for leaving Las Noches. but every time there was someone or something trying to kill him. Usually he was able to leave without a fight, and hopefully this would be one of those times.
Kalte stepped out from a nearby patch of trees, slowly, almost carefully walking over to the shinigami up from behind. The espada was making no attempt at secrecy, and why should he? Stopping with enough distance to remain safe from the blades that hung from the man’s side, the arrancar addressed the shinigami.
“You wanted to find me so badly? Well here I am. Unless I’m mistaken, the arrancar you all were searching for happens to be me,” Kalte said, “I’m going to be frank, leave now and you won’t die. I don’t want to have to bother fighting someone today, I’m already tired as it is. There’s no point in useless bloodshed.” His white cloak framed billowed slightly with a light gust stirring the trees of the nearby forest and the grass of the plains that they were standing in. “If you shall not leave, I’m afraid I shall not either.”
“Why even bother with fighting when the alternative is so much easier? All you have to do is walk away. At least then you will be able to walk away at all.” The words left his tongue not as a threat, but merely as a statement of facts. A statement that Kalte hoped his opponent took heed of.
