The rain was constant over the streets of Karakura Town, the sky was black with rain clouds that danced across the sky in the power of the wind, Trees shook their leaves violently in a flurry of wind and rain. The building was filled with various shops from clothes to DVDs and video games. It was built upon two levels with escalators going up each side and the building and in the center lied a food court with various styles of food from italian to japanese.
The young soul reaper stood leaning against a pillar in the shopping center watching the elements battle each other outside through the glass doors and roof that covered the massive building. He stood in a pair of worn gray jeans with a white belt that were slim and fitted, his black military boots were dirtied and left open with the laces hanging loose whilst his t shirt was a fitted black t shirt and a deep gray newsboy cap. He kept his eye line down, glancing at the silver phone in his hand as he watched for any movements of hollows or unnatural phenomena.
He looked around the center as the humans went about their daily business; shopping, chatting, going on dates, meeting friends. "Jeez, a lot has changed in 350 years..." Masayoshi let out a deep sigh as he shifted his weight from the wall as he slumped himself slightly forward and began to walk slowly towards the center food court as he felt his stomach grumble.
"Hey, come play big brother come play!" Cried the voice within him and he knew it only too well, it was he rather mischievous and hyperactive Zanpakuto, Kikenkaze; "I am not playing games right now, i'm on an assignment because they was reports of a strange pressure reading around this area the past few days so I gotta check it out, so pipe down for a bit okay? I gotta concentrate." He could tell she was sulking now and he wasn't really fussed but he knew he was going to pay for it later "You're no fun you grumpy old bastard!" she cried and then silent. Oh yes, he was definitely going to pay for that later.. He reached the food court and took a seat on a single table and concentrated on the people walking around to see any unusual behavior but he could see nothing... Not a single thing seemed out of place, it was just a Japanese shopping center on a busy saturday afternoon in the world of the living. No pressure spikes, No Hollows and definitely no Espadas... How boring.
"Dammit... Why send me here if nothing interesting is going to happen? Well things could be worse i suppose."
He sat forward and rested his elbow on the table and poked the phone as he laid it on the table wishing it would do something of interest.
