Thread Title: Proving A Point: Shiroi vs Caesar Participants: Shiroi Hokai, C The Cardinal Caesar World: Hueco Mundo Death Setting: Non Death Enabled Rating: PG-13 Location: In the white desert of Hueco Mundo. Special Conditions: Caesar will not be applied to by any stamina-related rulings at all for the duration of combat. Circumstances: Superpowered by an experimental aura created by The Emperor of the Vandenreich, a Lone Stern Ritter has appeared in Hueco Mundo to capture research subjects, but has attracted the attention of a very unpleasant Arrancar...
Darkness loomed over the white desert of Hueco Mundo. Blackness reigned supreme, for enormous, billowing clouds were in the sky. They drifted slowly apart after a few seconds only, revealing a pale moon, crescent but waning. Its light shone down onto the white desert and cast white across the sand. This was why it was aptly named the white desert of Hueco Mundo, the Hollow World. However, it was no longer the home of merely Hollows, creatures who fed on the souls of spirits and of one another in order to grow in strength. No, Hollows were animals. They were intelligent to a degree, but primarily instinctive, and had only limited ability to band together. No, Hueco Mundo had come to be the dominion of more than the Hollows alone. It had become the home of far more deadly creatures. Though the Hollows had holes where their hearts should be to indicate true emptiness, there were the far more empty.
The humanoids, or in other words those with human bodies and yet Hollow's souls, were far more empty, for they had regained the capacity to feel as humans did, and yet were doomed to live in this primitive, instinct and death driven world. They were the Arrancar, whose presence inspired fear, and inspired destruction. The Hollows had once ruled these sands, but no longer. Instead, they wandered in despair, and looked up at all times to see a huge palace in the distance. The palace of Las Noches, which was the home of the Arrancar, was a beacon of despair for all to writhe under. It held the strongest in Hueco Mundo, for the Arrancar, more than the darkness that they embodied, embodied also the merging of two types of soul: those of the Shinigami, and those of the Hollows. One, guardian of life and death, and angel to guide into the next world. The other, monster which devoured all. They had become one in the Arrancar, the ultimate race.
It was as a member of this ultimate race that the Leader of Exequias, the tactical espionage and infantry army of Las Noches under King Sonken Kouhai, that the Arrancar upon whom the moonlight fell that night narrowed his eyes on his target. Lean, with powerful muscles for efficient killing, black leather pants, and no shirt over a deeply tanned body beholding Hawaiin complexion, Shiroi Hokai was observing his next kill already. He had first encountered this masked man from another world only minutes before. Returning from a recent mission, the Arrancar with the short, silver and white hair and the daunting eyes had sensed an enormous reiatsu, and arrived to check it out. The one whom he encountered wore white, like the Arrancar were supposed to, but had far neater and more militaristic clothes. He wore some sort of outfit which was not recognized by Hueco Mundo, but which Shiroi knew. It was the outfit of the Quincy Empire, the Vandenreich.
They were conquerers, and were an army of invaders. Shiroi knew this, and knew then that for one to be present must that there was imminent danger to Las Noches, and that it was his job to murder this one. Upon arriving to greet the Quincy, Shiroi's eyes narrowed. Eyes which were black where there should be white, and which had gold in the irises instead of any natural color, or in other words the eyes of the Hollow, were what gazed upon the Quincy in white. "Who are you...?" Shiroi had asked originally, and received only an inadequate answer which served to put him on alert. And so, this time, he who was the most powerful Arrancar other than the Espada intended to send home a clear message. He flexed his enormous reiatsu around his body to create a huge wolf of reiatsu around him, a cinematic effect which roared at the Quincy for intimidation purposes. It was certainly an impressive, sizable reiatsu.
Shiroi was not here to only play around. This much should be obvious and clear. "You are not welcome..." Shiroi told the Quincy, and kept both hands at the ready. Though unprotected by clothes or armor, Shiroi Hokai was a master combatant, and something was about to hurt the Quincy tremendously. That something was the skill and the power which Shiroi held in his grasp. There were few who could challenge him, and fewer still who would be able, as Quincy with those fleshy, easily killed bodies, to fight on an even level with him, let alone defeat him. No, this battle was not going to end in the death of Shiroi and the beginning of the end for the reign of Sonken Kouhai and Las Noches and the enslavement of all Hollows in Hueco Mundo. This was going to be the beginning of a fight which would end in the defeat and demise of a Quincy who had stepped out of boundaries and come far too far from home... "Leave...or die..." Shiroi concluded.
"The Skys will Part! And the hand of the True God King will appear. Protecting those who have followed through and came back to him and punishing those who have turned away. Yea, let it be known the the time of Revenge is Near. And the world will be purified. We wait for the Day of Fire! Our God! Guide us through these time. Amen." The lone tapping echoed through the whirling tunnels of a Garganta. A man, standing well over six feet, he wore a brown cloak that fully covered his entire body. Prevening someone from guessing what kind of condition his body is in. Secondly, one would notice that that the man wore an orator's mouth piece. The mouthpiece, twisted into that of a smile. The man was known to many of the Vandenreich, as Caesar, C, The Cardinal, he was also known among the Vandenreich by his Rank as General. He was hailed as a Lord, many knelt before him as he has knelt before Der Kaiser. His deep blue eyes were like a window to his soul, but were one to even analyze it. They would find nothing, for Caesar hides his emotions from many. Only showing it to his God. Something else stood out from his body, and that he was covered in a holy white aura, it caused him to glow and radiate. Especially while he was inside of the Garganta, where there was only darkness. He had been sent to the deserts of Hueco Mundo to capture those who would wish to convert into the Vandenreich. To try to become Holy and become a part of something righteous, he was also ordered by God to destroy those that are too weak or do not wish to stand with them. He took these orders with a gentle nod. "For you, God. I will gladly watch the world Burn. Because you have dicated it, you have willed it. I will make it happen."
Stepping out of the Garganta the General was now alone with the bright moon that shined on Los Noches and onto the hollows that wandered nearby. Because he had a naturally strong Reiatsu Strength the General was immediately surrounded by hollows of a weak but fast stature. Their howls were loud but short lived for Caesar had applied a mere press of his Gravitational Pressure and it caused them to Die. Not till long there was more and more, trying to bring an end to the Cardinal of God. And one after one they began to falter and die. Their bodies whithering and dissipating into useless energy. He calmly gazed at the large palace that was known as Los Noches. To him, this was a beacon of disgust. That of which are created from madness do not have the ability to congregate and create something as massive. He looked at it in disgust as he took and remembered the necessary analysis that may be needed to destroy this building. Perhaps it could be the objective for the Vandenreich to capture and make an example that the Days of Fire and Brimstone is near. That the Vandenreich will have their revenge and those who have held their sword against them will perish. For God is with Caesar, and Caesar will spread the will of his God. "Dear, God. I pray before you, to wish for the strength to overcome the challenges that I may face here. I pray that you give me the strength to ensure that I will be successful. And that those who are captured today will serve as either a soldier of your Holy Army. OR serve as an example that their days are numbered. You are the one that brings the light to the unenlightened. Mercy to your Followers. Punishment to the blasphemers. Amen."
Not too long after praying, he felt an even stronger energy approaching. Caesar had a natural skill in sensing reiatsu, and the being that had appeared before him was of Arrancar decent. When their eyes met, Shiroi's black eyes would come into contact with Caesar's blue eyes. While Shiroi's eyes were meant to give a sense of intimidation, when he looked into Caesar's eyes, all he would see was an endless abyss. There was no sense of true emotion, only a face that was calm, placid. "Who are you...?" "My... Name? You will remember me as your Savior. The Bringer of your end. The Cardinal of God." That was when the being before him flexed his reiatsu. Creating a massive wolf of reiatsu that roared before him. He spread his arms, as if to embrace the Wolf. But instead, in response Caesar had flexed his reiatsu as well. A few crows, as a result flew onto his arms and cawwed angrily at the wolf before violently flapping their wings, sending a storm of feathers that merely passed through the Arrancar. Soon a flood of over five hundred crows exploded from behind Caesar. Covering Shiroi and ripping flesh from his body, but these flesh were not his flesh, and they did not harm his body. It only appeared as if they were harming him, he would not feel anything but he could not touch them. They violently cawwed into his ears before flying off into the moon and exploding in energy.
"You are not welcome..." The man that stood before him had a considerable amount of Reiatsu Strength. Caesar was aware of this, and this meant that he would have a difficult time destroying his Hierro. When he uttered that phrase, Caesar activated Blut and then a technique that was known in the Human World as Gate. The result caused him to double his Reiatsu Strength and Spiritual Pressure but it doubled the cost of everything. He was prepared to fight, Caesar simply stood there. He had the instincts to be able to react better and faster. "You. Do not have the authority. To dictate what I do. And where. I. Am." Caesar spoke with calm tone but the words were meant to show Shiroi that he was inferior to him. The voice whhispered into his ear as if he was standing right next to him. "Leave...or die..." The swelling pressure between the two began to blast away the sand around them and kill whatever was nearby. This was a fight between the protector of Los Noches and a man that would burn the world with a smile if it meant he was able to please his God. His mask and cross began to glow as he spoke "You can not Kill Me. You, are nothing."
Remaining Reiatsu: 3,170/1,870 -300 for Blut Defensive +1,6000 from Mask and Cross

"Very well." Shiroi responded to Caesar. He did not give his own name. No Quincy was deserving of such respect, and any respectable enemy would know the name of the enemies within the territory which he infiltrated anyway. The Exequias Leader could see with his eyes, his Hembra Pesquis, that his opponent was a Quincy. The eyes that greeted Caesar were cold, unforgiving, and yet were still all-seeing. Quincy, who were in all ways utterly inferior to Arrancar, to the point where they were not even compatible for reiatsu purposes, were nothing but trash. Trash to be taken out in the name of Sonken Kouhai, King of Las Noches. Shiroi wondered about what his opponent had been thinking in daring to come to Hueco Mundo during a time when its strongest in history reigned, and when it was possible to run into the likes of Kuroi Naito or Adalo De-Mona. However, as luck would have it, someone worse had encountered the Stern Ritter. The Exequias Leader, Shiroi Hokai, was several times more powerful than any Quincy could ever be.
Shiroi was unphased by the reiatsu of his opponent, weaker than his own. He was unphased by the crows, which had no effect. Most importantly, he was unaffected by the words and the very spirit of his adversary. Instead, Shiroi began to walk towards his opponent, noting as the crows dissipated that reiatsu was beginning to line itself along Caesar's body, and focus. He was enhancing his defensive ability, and providing himself with some sort of armor which was not unlike Hierro. Shiroi, walking forwards, noticed this with his basic observational skills, given that Hembra Pesquis allowed him to read his opponent's reiatsu with great ease. It was a casual process, not even worth reflecting upon. As Shiroi approached his opponent, his eyes never once faltered. To dare to invade Las Noches, which was the instrument with which Shiroi would achieve his revenge, was simply suicidal. There were many who would kill invaders, but none moreso than Shiroi Hokai, who demanded discipline, obedience, and cold, cunning, and ruthlessness and ambition.
"Leave." Shiroi repeated himself, managing to step up to the front of Caesar. He stood there, doing nothing, saying nothing else. All that Shiroi did was stand there, his eyes focused on those of his opponent. The Arrancar was fearless, powerful, and absolutely overwhelming in power. His reiatsu continued to flex during that entire time, and had even, eventually, utterly annihilated and blown away the crows which were his opponent's. It was mockery, thinking of how this foe used crows. It reminded Shiroi of Kuroi, whose reiatsu took the form of ravens. Crows were merely a mocking form of ravens, an inferior specimen. They were a bird which did not prey on others, but which was preyed upon. They were some of the weakest, most pitiful of things. However, Shiroi did not yet attack, but rather stood there and stared down Caesar. It was ultimately a battle not only of wills, but of determination. It was clear that Caesar was in trouble, for the Arrancar had a distinct advantage over any Quincy...but what happened remained to be seen.
