Two WIP characters, Ophelia (Rin's) and mine (Axis Recio) who are Arrancar will be interacting here! They're Escudo members. As soon as both characters are completed, this thread will be moved out of free RP and will be considered a legitimate thread.
The hungry Hollow tore into it's victim. From one Hollow to the next, it was nothing personal. It was business. The lion-like Hollow bit into the flesh of the deceased frog Hollow, and continued chomping loudly and powerfully. The frog had been several times the lion's size, but the lion had been swifter, faster, and more powerful. It had been an easy kill, even though both were Adjuchas. In Las Noches, the rule of the Hollow was that the strongest survived. However, everywhere else in Hueco Mundo, it was more than being the strongest. It was being the most resilient. More than being powerful, they had to eat one another to stay powerful, or risk losing their evolution.
That was why the lion spent day after day seeking out new meals to eat. It was always a constant hunt for a new meal. He was searching for a way to evolve and to grow more powerful, so that he could one day become a Vasto Lorde. That was his dream. It was the dream of all Hollows to become Vasto Lorde, or at the very least to solidify themselves as Arrancar. However, not all were powerful enough to be Arrancar, nor were all destined to be Vasto Lorde. Most never gained either status. There were far too many Hollows for all of them to become Arrancar. Then again, that did mean that they got to have a surplus of bounty to turn into meals.
An arm suddenly slung over the lion Hollow from behind. It was a long, dark skinned arm, belonging to a humanoid creature. The reiatsu was immediately detectable as an Arrancar's to any Hollows in the vicinity. The arm slung over the lion's neck and around it, like a half hug. CHRISTIAN SIDE HUG! The arm belonged to a very tall individual, clearly Arrancar, with a lanky body which was regardless muscular, short blue hair cut in layers, and ice blue eyes which seemed to glow. The dark skinned Arrancar's Hollow hole was nowhere to be seen, probably because he wore black khaki pants and a tucked in white dress shirt and black tie.
"Whacha got goin' here?" the Arrancar asked the lion, whose expression soured while chewing. The Arrancar could tell that the Hollow was annoyed, and wanted to kill him. However, Hollows did not averagely kill Arrancar, and the Arrancar knew that his presence was usually quite intimidating to most. He probably wouldn't be attacked. Who was this Arrancar? Escudo Member, Zarpa 2/6: Axis Recio. The strongest member of the Escudo organization, he was also by far the laziest about doing his job. He had decided a little while ago that he was hungry, and so he was out hunting when he found this lion and it's victim.
"Hey, gimme some..." Axis demanded, reaching to the corpse to yank some flesh off. He stuffed it into his mouth and chewed it thoughtfully. "Hey, this is pretty good..." he admitted with a lax smile as he swallowed and wiped his mouth clean. "Gimme the rest." He pushed the lion Hollow out of the way and started digging into the rest of the corpse, which he was able to consume in about fifteen seconds flat. He was exceptionally talented in eating quickly. The Hollow, once pushed out of the way, did not know how to react. He did not even possess adequate time to react before his meal was gone. Wide eyed, the lion stared, and then his eyes narrowed as he glared at Axis.
Axis grinned and wiped his mouth again. "Thanks," he said as he started to walk away. The Hollow lion simply stared incredulously after him, determining whether or not it should attack. The power that Axis gave off however was too much, and the Arrancar knew it. There would be no point in attacking Axis, and Axis knew that the lion would come to this conclusion, and would realize that it could not fight him. That was only expected. So, the lion skulked off like the bitch it was, and Axis continued walking, all the way back to the Escudo base, where he got up on top of their rooftop, staring at the moon, and fell asleep there. It was habit to do so. He slept for about 18 hours a day.
