Physical Description:
Kazura is an ordinary man still in his prime at the age of 28. He’s of average height, average weight, and clear skin. Little about him stands out, when he wants to be under the radar. He has plain brown eyes and matching brown hair of medium length. He really doesn’t appear like much more than a college student, looking pretty young for his age, and dressing in plain clothes and wearing a backpack is the perfect camouflage. But why would a young man that looks like a plain college student need to be camouflaged? That is because this young man is Kazura Uzaki, CEO of Uzaki Enterprises, a defense contractor for the country of Japan. Inheriting the company when his father died, and making a meteoric rise in wealth, this billionaire is always dodging crowds.
Normally, that is when he needs to stay incognito; he wears a ball cap, sunglasses, and rugged hoodie, pulling off the college student look quite effectively. His patented Anti-Shave Gel, that quickly thickens hairs and forms the equivalent of a 3-day beard in just a few minutes, is readily applied to further complete his disguise. A pair of worn out sneakers and ripped jeans are common, comfortable clothes for the billionaire to wear. Few people even look at him longer than a few seconds, as he looks so average as to actually bore people with his presence. Even less actually look at him long enough to see his face, as he’s constantly moving, and none yet have recognized him as Uzaki.
However, like all great men, and like all wealthy figures, he has another side to him. When he’s in public, he undergoes a huge transformation. The first things to fall away are his facial hair and the ball cap, revealing his light hair and clear skin. The sunglasses get removed, revealing his entire face, and he’s ready to go from nobody to billionaire CEO. He ditches the common clothes and decks himself out in a fine silk tuxedo, with diamond cufflinks and a high end Rolex watch on his wrist. Wealth and status is clearly evident by his attire, always kept perfectly clean and without shameful wrinkles.
By night, Kazura explores the empty streets of his area, watching and stopping crime as he feels the need to, but more importantly seeking out the ghosts that he’s been able to find. When he does this, he wears his mask and armor that makes him appear as the Batman. Because when you have money, and you can choose to, why not be Batman? The mask covers the majority of his face, with the eyes being covered by his spirit seeing goggles, so anonymity is pretty normal for him at night.

$ Lack of status – Everything I am is because of my status. Losing that would result in a complete loss of myself. Why wouldn’t I fear that?
Goals:

$ Always exercise imagination – My imagination is what brought my company into the status that it is now. I want to always exercise it, making sure that it is working in peak condition.
$ Never grow up – Growing up, and losing the ability to do what I want and have fun, is appalling to me. Why should I have to act my age when I have the money to do whatever I want?
$ Rule the corporate world – My company could always grow bigger. There are a few key corporations that have started expanding in Japan, and I could probably seek to absorb them, adding to my resources with which to design new things.

Alignment: [Chaotic Neutral]
Overall Personality: Basically, Kazura Uzaki does what he wants. He’s got the money and status to do so, and the time as well. As CEO, his job for the company is to leave the financial things to his advisors and trustees, and work on making the weapons and completing the research contracts that different governments pay him for. So if he wants to do something, he does it. If he wants to party until it is 4 am, he parties until it is 5 am. If he wants to go out drinking, he buys a bar and keeps it open all night.
Being of the proverbial 1% of the world that holds most of the wealth, Kazura is a bit disconnected from the common person, the 99% of people not as fortunate as he is. How can he begin to imagine what it is like to live paycheck to paycheck, not knowing if tomorrow you’ll be able to afford food for your kids? Everything has always been handed to him on a silver platter, until now, when it gets handed to him on a diamond encrusted gold platter. So when dealing with less fortunate people, he’s often at a loss.
In social circles, places where he is more at home, he is a very extravagant person. With his fancy dress and elegant posture, he simply gives off an aura of wealth and prosperity. He’s a very sociable guy, mixing in well with any crowd and being able to hold the attention of the group he’s in. He’s intelligent, good at holding his alcohol, and can be comical at times, making him the life of many parties. He’s charming at all times, even if he has to force it, in order to be a good face for his company. Drunkenness is not something that afflicts him at these events, so that he can uphold his reputation.
Recently, with his discovery of the existence of an afterlife, the existence of ghosts, and becoming aware of the dangers that they face to his way of life, and probably to his world, Uzaki has developed another personality. He’s got his “hiding” mode, where he just blends in and doesn’t draw attention to himself, he’s got his “social” mode, where he’s the generous life of the party, and he has his “ghost hunter” mode. When in ghost hunter mode, he becomes extremely serious, reserved, and paranoid. Anything and anyone could be against him, thus he must stay vigilant.
Ghosts, which are Shinigami, Arrancar, Hollows, and Sinners, are threats to Kazura. As he is a human without any spiritual ability, he blends into the surroundings well, allowing himself a surprise attack on most enemies. And he would take it in a heartbeat. He is extremely hostile to those races, going out of his way to provoke and detain them so information can be extracted. Though he has yet to do so, due to their habit of slipping away or just overpowering him, he will continue to try to do so until he succeeds.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fighting Style:
Kazura Uzaki is a capable hand to hand fighter, already having learned the styles of Jujitsu and Krav Maga, and learning more and more in those styles every day. Krav Maga is the Israeli Martial art that involves very brutal methods that are designed around incapacitating foes in a single blow, through vicious methods, making him an effective fighter when engaging a target from mid range and maintaining efficacy at close range. Jujutsu is a Martial art that excels at locks and throws, making him an effective fighter at the closest of ranges, grappling.
At the moment, he’s only just picked up these arts, knowing how to use their basic tactics and movements. Against a completely untrained opponent of equal physical prowess, he should have no problem trapping them in a painful arm lock while simultaneously having an arm open to deliver strong attacks to a targets torso. Against a similarly trained opponent of equal physical prowess, he may have a bit of trouble, relying on cunning to maneuver himself into a good attack. Against superiorly trained opponents, he should be relying on his tools instead.
Speaking of his tools, they are easily incorporated into his fluid fighting style. Taking a blow in order to deliver one is easier when you’re wearing impact resistant material, and when you can easily escape from an engagement, you tend to be more willing to get in close. Sometimes this causes problems, but he’s yet to engage himself in something that was too tough. However, he’s easily provoked, so that is a big source of trouble. When he does start fighting, he’s often aggressive and merciless, laying into his enemies with reinforced attacks.
Starting Tools:
Item Name: Suit Mk I
Item Type: Armor
Item Description: This suit is pretty basic, for someone with the money with which to buy it. It’s a high impact resistant material, which can absorb 100 stat strength. Any higher, and Kazura will start to feel the impact. It is a dark grey color, and has no symbol on the front. This model has no cape.
Item Name: Helm Mk I
Item Type: Armor
Item Description: The typical mask of a vigilante, this mask is made to appear like Batman’s mask, though it has a deployable gas mask. Built in are the Spirit Goggles Mk I. These spirit goggles were made by accident, and through the specific resonance of glass with an exact amount of voltage applied, they allow the user to see spirits.
Item Name: Belt Mk I
Item Type: Storage
Item Description: At first glance, this is a simple silver belt with some packs and capsules on it, with an intake/exhaust port in the back. It’s actually a nice storage device that doubles as transportation. Ten capsules hang from it, each containing twenty meters of compressed tear gas. The packs on the side are connected to the exhaust port in the back as well as a few empty capsules. The front of the packs open up to reveal twin hook launchers and an incredibly powerful motor. These allow Kazura to grapple onto a surface, and then pull himself forward, aided by a push from the exhaust port. If he has things to catch onto, he can fly for 4 continuous posts, else he may have to wait and recharge before finding a new tall target. The movement device has a static max speed of 150.
Item Name: Gauntlets Mk I
Item Type: Weapon
Item Description: A simple pair of black gauntlets, the knuckles are lined with bronze for exceptional punching ability. Built into them are the triggers for the movement device in the Belt Mk I
Current Residence: [Karakura Town/Tokyo]
Memorable Figures: [Father – Okabe Uzaki, Butler – Charles,
History:
Kazura Uzaki never knew his mother. She was a gentle soul, and though every expense had been paid for, she hadn’t been able to survive giving birth to him. When she had been alive, she had been the sole inhibitor to Kazura’s father’s ambition. Okabe Uzaki was a man of considerable imagination and had built for himself a powerful company that made him a millionaire. His inventions had been top notch, and with nothing to hold him back, force him to stay home and have time for family, he spent more and more time away from home. And that created a sense of loneliness inside him.
As a millionaire inventor, Okabe enjoyed lots of free time, and with no wife to share it with, and just a newborn son for company, he quickly grew sullen. Being able to afford the most luxurious of spaces and finest clothes and toys, Okabe hired a butler named Charles to raise his son for him. With his time completely free, the Uzaki man turned to drink and the company of hired women to fill the loneliness that he felt. But unlike most playboy alcoholics, his life never hit a crazy downward spiral into depression and drunkenness. When drunk, he simply drifted into a hazy trance and babbling incoherently.
So as Kazura grew up under the talented eye of Charles, all he knew of his father was a man who was mad and drunk, and the boy was told that he was a brilliant inventor at one point in his life. Although there was a steady income coming in from already negotiated contracts and steady sales, Uzaki Enterprises stagnated. Okabe wouldn’t accept new contracts, and the ones that he was expected to carry out were less than brilliant and the product wasn’t purchased. It progressed to the point where the company didn’t continue growing.
The stress of failing expectations started to burden Okabe, and his son only reminded him of his late wife, as his looks took after her. His health was no longer in peak condition, and the company of women didn’t satisfy any more. Even though he eventually gave up his play boy ways, that didn’t stop the drinking and only served to accelerate it. Even a trip to the hospital due to liver damage didn’t stop it. And so Okabe started to become more and more separated from his son, never being around to watch the boy grow up.
Kazura was only five years old when Charles started to notice that there was something different about him. Recently the boy had been given a remote controlled helicopter and a remote controlled car to play with. Quickly getting bored, like many children are want to do, the toys were set aside and seemingly forgotten. The child turned to other toys, and Charles forgot about the helicopter and car for a few days, as he hadn’t heard their noisy whirring for a while. But while they lied in forgotten slumber from the eyes of Charles, he hadn’t seen the last of them yet.
Once again, a few days later, the noisy whirring of the remote controlled toys was heard throughout the house, followed by repeated bumps and giggles. Going to see what was up with Kazura, the curious Butler was surprised by his foot suddenly losing grip on the step and sliding back. Letting out a quick yelp, he looked down to see what had tripped him, only to find a screwdriver sitting on the step. Investigating why a tool was left there, Charles found a toy ramp placed at the edge of the stairs. Standing on the landing at the top of the stairs, he again heard the noise of the toy car as well as the sound of the helicopter. Dashing past him went the toy car, if you could still call it that.
The top of the car had been cut into, who knows how that child got a sharp enough knife, and the guts had been pulled out to reduce weight. The spinning blades were popping up out of the newly added sun roof. The wheels were being pushed to their max, dragging the whole apparatus, and the helicopter blades were straining to try and lift the new added weight. Announcing his arrival with a trumpeting laugh, Kazura ran out of the room following the speeding helicar. As he exited, he thrust a second knob forwards on his remote control.
Charles knew that the car would never take off, just would flop down the stairs, for it was just too heavy for what the parts were made for. But when Kazura pushed the other stick forwards, there was another whirring noise. The car hit the ramp and shot upwards, not falling nearly as fast as it should have. Seeing a flash of the under carriage of the car, he noticed another fan put into the bottom, taken from the old rudder of the helicopter and given a big boost in battery power. The car started to glide, and though it didn’t have any more forward propulsion or steering, it stayed at a fairly consistent height from the stairs, only stopping when it crashed into a wall at the bottom of them.
This kind of thing was proof for Okabe that Kazura needed to go into school early. He flew through school, learning quickly and absorbing information at an astronomical rate. Before he was 14 he was done with high school, and he had a Bachelor’s of Engineering at the age of 18 from a prestigious American University, Harvard. Upon returning from the Americas, he found that his father was on his death bed. Finding Okabe awake, with ragged breaths his father let out his final words. “You’re… so much like your mother… You make me proud… son…” And Okabe died.
In his will, Okabe had left Uzaki Enterprises to Kazura. Staying away from drink, which had brought his father to madness and into decline, Kazura quickly restored the company to profits and caused it to skyrocket in wealth. Within ten years, he had become a billionaire due to the resources that his father had toiled to obtain, and due to his own imagination and intelligence. Countries from all over sought his work, and slowly he began to work with all of the superpowers, toiling towards space colonization. It was his ultimate dream, to put humans into space for an indefinite amount of time.
His greatest secret was that he had been training in multiple martial arts, and designing battle equipment for himself. He knew that he must use some of his money for a good use, and he needed something good to occupy his time so he didn’t decay like his father had. So he funded infantry armor and such for himself, almost appearing like the Batman when he went out at night to fight crime, or just observe criminal acts and report them to the police. He was more of a spiderman than a Batman, leaving the criminals for the police to take care of. And since his police were not as corrupt as Gotham, things worked smoothly.
When working on space technologies one day, he accidentally discovered something shocking. He was testing the various properties of different glass, to find which would be best for colony domes and space ship windows. His testing included how the glass resonated and responded to electricity, in case there were atmospheric vibrations and wiring inside the domes. When resonating at a specific frequency, with an exact voltage of electricity passing through it, he discovered a shocking new world. When looking through that window, he saw spirits and ghosts.
He was shocked at first, baffled as to how ghosts could exist. Focusing the glass into a large pair of goggles, he went out “bird watching”, but actually was examining the ghosts. Many of them carried swords, and with those primitive weapons they made other ghosts disappear. And there were big black brutes of ghosts that ate other ghosts. Those he ran from, just in case they decided to come after him. So he began his new life, being a billionaire CEO by day, and investigating ghost hunter by night. It might have been lonely, but Kazura didn’t feel as if it was.

$ Purge the ghosts – I want them out of my life, out of my town, and out of this world. Especially the big black ones that like to break things so often.
$ Colonize other planets – This planet is only a temporary place for humanity. With the technology that I’ve been inventing, we get closer and closer to being able to transport the necessary materials to new planets in order to have colonies.
$ Find the humanoid ghost’s home base – The ghosts that seem sentient, those sword wielding ones, I want to find where they live. What I do after I find that… I don’t know, but I want to go invade their home and show them what it is like to have an unwanted visitor.

-Tools-
Fighting Style:
Built into them are the triggers for the movement device in the Belt Mk I
-History-
Current Residence: [Karakura Town/Tokyo]
