Quest Name:[/b] [Primal Clash]
Who can participate?:[/b] [Anyone]
Quest Time Frame (How long it takes):[/b] [Time will be wibbly wobbly]
Quest Setting (NDE/DE):[/b] [NDE]
Quest Synopsis:[/b] [From beyond the stars and out of the bowels of the Great Celestial War itself came two Generals. A King of Time and a King of Space. These two Lords found themselves in the Land of the Living, a place of rich culture, and more importantly, warriors both present and future. Gathering up armies out of time and space, and setting up a giant chess board at a converted Pacific Trench, the two plan to do battle. The massive spiritual energy can be felt or detected from anywhere in the universe, and these Generals would be more than willing to recruit or accept any sort of fighters for their vicious game.
Maximum Number of Participants:[/b] NONE
Overall Goal:[/b] [Win at chess]
Number of missions involved:[/b] [5] (Side Quests Not Included)
BASIC Synopsis of each Quest mission:[/b]
Stage One: The Herald. A Herald has been sent to all of the major areas of the universe. It calls for warriors of all groups to unite under one banner, of a King. The Kings of Time and Space both call for warriors to replace the ones that they have selected from Time and Space, as both Kings know that power has been amassing of late in the Land of the Living, the Soul Society, and Hueco Mundo. No set Difficulty, social Quest
Stage Two: The First Board. The warriors have been gathered for the first game, a simple board of chess. The special rules and fighters are, however, far from simple. Hard Difficulty
Stage Three: The Second Board With the First Board conquered for either side, the players are refreshed for a less traditional board. It has terrain and other obstacles, which make it more fun for the Generals. More fighters may be added, but some may also be removed. Hard Difficulty
Stage Four: The Generals Board. With the Second Board resulting in a fun match, the Generals have decided that it is time for the final match. They themselves will be the King pieces instead of a warrior from Time and Space. Hard-Extreme Difficulty.
Stage Five: The Clean Board. With the traditional chess over, the Kings wipe the slate clean and have a direct battle. Their armies may participate if they wish, battling among themselves or supporting/attacking a King. Easy-Extreme Difficulty (whether or not you get involved in the King Fight)
Recommended Class for entry:[/b] ANY
Special Notes:[/b] This will be a massive thread. The rules of the unique game of chess will be explained each time, but overall rules are simple. When two RPCs meet on the face of battle, there will be a cinematic fade to black. The chess game can go on around them, but they will have their PvP in the proper zone then the victor will be returned to the face of the battle. Another thing. Unless you have a specialized item, or find a specialized location, reiatsu and damage will not be fixed in between battles. Characters are free to use War Strategy in unique ways, and are encouraged to do so if they succeed in interviewing for a High Ranked Piece. Pawns, obviously, can not order around officer class pieces. I will be the Space King, Clock will be the Time King. For the first round at least.
