-Basic Information-
Name: [Okusa Shogen]
Age of Death: [Born in S.S.]
Real Age/Age of Appearance: [570/26]
Birthday (Month/Day): [12/25]
Blood Type: [AB-]
RP Sample (Optional): [I'm the ace Captain, Okusa Shogen! SNOOOWWW COOONNNEEEESSS! ORRREEEOOO BASTARDDDDSSS!!! So I don't need an RP sample.]
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-Appearance-
Height/Weight: [219 CM (7 feet 2 inches)/200 pounds]
Physical Description: [Even though he's really tall, and stands out because of this, Okusa doesn't actually look too different. Aside from being really really tall, he looks perfectly normal. His hair is a short black crew cut, and it doesn't get messy or anything like that because it's so short. It's also the center of attention for some people, because apparently it goes really well with the rest of him. Okusa thinks that this is bullshit, looks don't matter in battle, but he doesn't care much anyway so it doesn't even matter.
The eyes that Okusa has are very dark, and so his pupils are hard to make out from his iris. And in battle, they're crazy wild, devoid of anything but blood lust and common battle fun. Outside of battle though, Okusa has very friendly eyes, and is actually a really nice looking guy. They're the eyes of someone that would help, or stare indiscriminately. They're also the eyes that don't understand awkwardness, so if Okusa saw someone naked, he wouldn't feel awkward at all.
He's tanned from traveling the world, and has large, good, steel solid muscles. They're well wound throughout his body, which adds to a good physical capability. People often look at the muscles and think that that's what they want. When asked about his secrets, he says that fighting over and over again will just grant muscles over time if you're good at it. In truth, he didn't just fight, he traveled the world and fought over and over again. Also, he worked out a lot, and eats loads of meat.
Okusa doesn't wear a traditional shinigami robe set. He wears the pants and sandles, but on top of that he just wears a plain black t-shirt. His ranking is shown plainly as a black tattoo on his left arm's upper bicep. He changes it whenever changing ranks. Okusa has a "party outfit" that he tends to bring to, well, parties. It really stands out.
His party outfit is a large black silk shinigami robe, with the sleeves capable of being easily torn like paper. This is so he can rip them off and hurl them into people's face, and blind them. It's very advantageous to do in a fight. He only wears this particular outfit to parties because he hates silk. He doesn't really expect to have fun in a party by socializing, he expects to find someone in a party that might want to fight him! So this special outfit is also designed for quick movement, a fun battle!
The pants of this outfit have loads of gold colored symbols all across them so that he stands out, and can't be missed. The pants flow and glow in the moonlight, dancing vividly like water in front of people as the wind calmly blows. The pants are a good match to the rest of his outfit, but they do hide a good amount of Okusa's leg muscles, so people don't get intimidated. But then again, they already get intimidated because of his massive height. Being so tall, Okusa scares a lot of people out of fighting him, which really pisses him off.
His robe itself also has symbols that make him stand out, except the symbols on his back actually mean something. They spell out the words "HEY! FIGHT WANTED. NOW." in huge bold letters, so that anyone who sees him will know that he's there desiring a fight, and people can just try and accept his challenges as he goes around issuing them, or someone can give him a challenge if he hasn't noticed them yet.
Regardless of the selected outfit, his sword is always sheathed at his side. It's a large sword, but then again, he's a large man, so it's normal to him. The nodachi blade is gigantic, and so is the sheathe and the hilt, since he also has big hands. Since Okusa has such a great setting outfit combination, one casual one party, he has designed his blade to be able to hook onto either one of these without a sheathe.
Believe it or not, when not in battle Okusa has a very friendly looking face. He doesn't know if other people think he's good looking because he's socially ignorant, but he believes that he's good looking, and doesn't mind looking at himself in the mirror for a few minutes in the morning. His face is actually befriending, and he has an easy time getting strangers to trust him, so long as they don't see him fight before he tries. Since he goes totally psycho during battle, anyone that sees him and he tries to befriend after is going to be scared shitless.
He has three scars across his chest. The first two are large, gaping slashes to form an X, and the last one is a descending slash cutting directly into the middle of the X. It's a mark that he was given for defying the rules of his teachers. It's not a mark that he likes seeing when he looks at himself in the mirror, but he does wear it with pride since something else happened soon after he was given the scar, something that he is proud of, and something which he considers a truly happy memory for himself.
His body just generally looks strong, but also warm and comforting. And so, as mentioned earlier, it really is easy to just make friends. Being socially ignorant though, he doesn't understand why some people have a hard time making friends. It's just one of those things he doesn't understand, among many other things that he doesn't understand. Either way, Okusa always looks happy. He usually has a smile on his face. Recently, Okusa has taken to wearing stylish rectangular sunglasses with glazed, icy blue lenses, tinted so that one can't see through them without being up close.]

-Personality-
Dislikes: [Create a List below.]
Regulation - He hates rules. Rules are the most boring things ever, and they're something that just shouldn't have existed in the first place. Life, battle, everything in general, should be done and lived as you choose, as you please. Freedom is what is really needed in this world.
Routine - If there is regulation, there is routine. Routine is the same thing happening over and over again nonstop, always the same, never different. Routine sucks. Every day needs to be fresh and new to be exciting and fun. Each battle has to have its own surprise. In a world, when there is routine, there is nothing but boredom.
Hollows - They're too predictable! All they do is roar and attack you! Arrancar are fine since they can think, but regular hollows just suck. They're way too easy to dispatch. Let the underlings do it, that's what they exist for anyway. Captains are supposed to do the big stuff, and have fun while doing it!
Stammering - When people stammer, the conversation is hard to have. People who stammer are annoying and stupid. They're also tremendously boring. If talking to them is boring, that means that it isn't fun. If it isn't fun, it doesn't deserve to exist.
Silence of any kind - Silence is boring. Something should always be happening, something should always be heard! When there is silence, there is boredom, and when there is boredom, there's no fun! If there's no fun, then life sucks and shouldn't be lived.
Night time - That's the time when everyone is asleep and it's hard as hell to find people to fight! That's when it gets really boring! There's nothing to do at night except be collected and private, in one's own thoughts! And that shit is boring!
Enclosed spaces - When spaces are enclosed, there's a limit to movement, there's a limit to what can be done. And, in that case, IT'S BORING! If it's boring in the enclosed space, the enclosed space shouldn't exist! Anything that's boring should die!
Emptiness - If there's emptiness, it means whatever is supposed to be occupying that emptiness isn't there, and it means that there's nothing to do regarding the emptiness. Which means that emptiness is BORING! If it's boring, it should die.
Advancement - As weapons and entertainment systems advance, people fight in more boring ways, and people go outside less. The advancement of technology sucks. It makes people boring, and therefore it's boring! If it's boring, it should die!!!! All boring things should just disappear!
Rumors - Rumors suck. Why? Because they're useless! All they do is make girls and gay guys gossip! And who needs gossip?! Rumors suck, gossiping sucks. All of that shit sucks. What's wrong with just FIGHTING ALL THE TIME?! IT'S FUN!
Gossip - It's just a bunch of useless and uninteresting talk! Stop talking, start fighting! Or something! Just do something that isn't boring. If it's boring, it sucks, and anything that's boring really does just blow. BORING STUFF SUCKS!
Churches - All they do all day long is preach endlessly on for hours about a book anyone can read, and a god that probably doesn't even exist. And that means that it's BORING! If God exists, lets fight him! That should be fun.
Loneliness - If he's lonely, then that means there's no one to keep him company! If there's no one to keep him company, it means that there's NO ONE TO FIGHT! And that means that wherever he is, he's bored out of his mind. And boredom sucks.
Teleportation - Random people just TELEPORT out of battle to escape. Why does that suck? Because they can escape the fight and therefore it ends early! And an early end to fights is BORING! And it's inconclusive! Inconclusive stuff sucks too.
Inconclusions - This means that something didn't end. Okusa will wonder what could've happened and how it could have ended for a long time if this is happening! And that's not only annoying, IT'S BORING!
Emo people - They're EMO! All they do is stay silent, or sit in a corner and CUT! That's so damned stupid. They should be cheerful and happy like Okusa, and they should learn how to FIGHT! They have those razors to cut themselves, so they have a weapon!
Gay people - They act too much like the opposing gender! It's confusing! Okusa is already pretty socially clueless. If people are acting the wrong way for their gender, it just gets really confusing! And being confused sucks!
Confusion - Okusa hates not knowing stuff. He must know things at all costs! If he's confused, it means he doesn't know what's going on. If he can't find out what's going on, he's clueless, and therefore he's bored.
Picky people - People who won't just take what they can get, and are too picky about what they want. JUST GET THAT ONE DAMN IT. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT! That's always going through Okusa's mind. People really are boring when they're like that.
Immobility - If he can't move, he can't do anything. If he can't do anything, then he's automatically bored. And, being bored sucks. To be bored is to be unhappy.
Cowardice - Who needs the cowards? They're filthy liars anyway! They just say or do whatever to save their own necks, and they ignore everything else! They suck.
Lack of color - If there's lack of color, things look stupid. And if they look stupid, they're BORING! If they're boring, they suck. All things that are boring suck.
Boredom - This is what drives people to suicide! Boredom! It's the worst possible thing existing! This is Okusa's bane. Boredom. Most of his dislikes sprout from this one large central dislike, BOREDOM! BORING THINGS!
Likes: [Create a list below.]
Fun - The central like. If it's fun, that means it's not boring! And if it's not boring, that means it's awesome! Fun is a great feeling, because fun spawns happiness!
Happiness - To be happy, you need to be having FUN! And to be having fun, you need to be doing something FUN! Happiness erases boredom too! Happiness rules!
Fighting - FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! It's the most fun thing ever! The rush and thrill of fighting is the greatest! It's fun, and makes Okusa happy. If he's happy, he's not bored!
Rush/Thrill - The rush and thrill of something! Usually this comes from FIGHTING! And roller coasters! And moving fast and doing wild, crazy, epic fun stuff! HAVING FUN! BEING HAPPY! NOT BEING BORED!
Colors - They look nice, they make the scenery look great. They also can be fun to look at. They make things look COLORFUL, and NOT BORING. If they're not boring, THEY'RE FUN! And that makes Okusa HAPPY!
Freedom - To be free! To be free is to be happy! And to be happy is to be having fun! That's not exactly interchangeable, but to Okusa it is. And to be happy and having fun and free is to not be bored.
Shinigami - Okusa likes shinigami. Why? Because there's usually never a dull moment in the Gotei Thirteen! That means it's awesome, fun, and happy! If it's happy, it's not boring! Okusa loves the Gotei Thirteen, he loves being among the Shinigami, he just loves everything related to Soul Society because of how much fun he can have there!
Gotei Thirteen - The home of his favorite, most fun people, the Shinigami! Seireitei rocks! Rukongai did have its boring moments because not everyone knew how to fight! Here, everyone can fight! Not all of them can fight WELL, but some of them DO know how to fight really well!
11th Division - The ultimate fun place! Why? Because it's the fight division! Everyone is constantly improving and everyone here knows how to FIGHT! If they know how to fight, they CAN fight! And if they can fight, they give Okusa lots and lots of fun! And if they give him fun, he's HAPPY AND NOT BORED!
Running around wildly - He loves doing this! Running around and wildly doing stuff! It's fun! It's an epitome of freedom! It just goes to show, being free really is the best thing ever.
Helping people - Why is this so great? Because it means you're doing something! If you're doing something, sometimes it could be challenging! It also means you're not doing nothing! And it means you could be having FUN! And FUN means HAPPINESS! TOP SCORE!
Captains - The strongest of all Shinigami! They're so fun that it's ridiculous! And that means it's AWESOME! They make Okusa very happy. Regardless of any rank, he'll fight the Captains any day! He'll take them on with utterly no fear whatsoever!
Chaos - Chaos is fun! It means stuff is WILDLY happening EVERYWHERE. And it's happening with lots of ENERGY. AND NOISE! That's good. There's lots of screaming. It's just crazy and awesome in general.
Noise - Noise? It's part of CHAOS! And it's FUN! It's really really FUN! Fun stuff isn't BORING! It kicks ass because it's not BORING! That means it's fun and awesome. Redundance!!
Strong people - They're strong! Enough said! They challenge, they give good fights, they give fun fights, THEY GIVE HAPPINESS! It doesn't matter whose side they're on. If they're strong, they give good fights. If they give good fights, they give fun. If they give fun, they give happiness.
Weapons - WEAPONS! They're motherfucking WEAPONS! They do all sorts of stuff! They DAMAGE, they make people BLEED, they EXPLODE! They do all sorts of awesome stuff. The way WEAPONS SHOULD!
Explosions - It's motherfucking EXPLOSIONS! Explosions are ENTERTAINING AND REALLY FUN! And the best thing to do, FIGHTING AGAINST EXPLOSIONS! FIGHTING EVERYTHING IS FUN!
Lightning - Lightning! It causes chaos! And it's loud! And it also makes FIRE and EXPLOSIONS! And it destroys stuff! IT'S FUN! LIGHTNING IS AWESOME.
Fire - It destroys stuff too! And it comes with EXPLOSIONS! And it's a result of lots of stuff, but also LIGHTNING! It's fun!
The colors orange and red - They're the colors of fire! Which destroys stuff! And comes with EXPLOSIONS AND LIGHTNING! AND DESTRUCTION!
Destruction - IT'S AWESOME! So many ways to DESTROY! Explosions, cutting, bashing, stomping, ripping, rending, hacking, absorbing, condensing! DESTROYING!
Disasters - They're part of CHAOS! They're part of lots and lots of CHAOS! They can mean DESTROYING! And one of the best parts of disasters is STORMS!
Storms - They can destroy! Cause disasters, chaos, screaming! All sorts of colors, awesome sights! They're fun! And they may even cause EXPLOSIONS! And storms are fun to FIGHT!
War - IT'S MOTHERFUCKING WAR! It causes DISASTERS! And EXPLOSIONS! And CHAOS! With loud noises, and SCREAMING, and DESTRUCTION! IT'S AWESOME! It's FUN!
Snow Cones - They're tasty. What else do you need?! Snow cones are motherfucking tasty!
Martial arts - They're fun to do, AND FUN TO FIGHT! If they're fun, THEY GIVE HAPPINESS! If it gives happiness, it's NOT BORING! Martial arts own.
Flaws: [Create a list below.]
Crazy - Lets face it. Okusa is insane. No sane person is the way he is! But that's okay, right? Being insane isn't bad! It's just preferable to be sane! Then again, Okusa does fine without it. Nevermind! WHO NEEDS SANITY?!
Battle crazy - He loves battle, killing, DEATH! This is a huge character flaw. He loves anything that has some sort of relation to fun and chaos and battle and death and DESTRUCTION. It's a fundamental flaw in his very being.
Too innocent - When he can't fight something or someone to fight, he just goes around helping people or eating snow cones. He helps people way too much. He's too helpful. It can be annoying.
Too nice - He's way too nice when he's not fighting. It means that he doesn't understand the concept of bullying or anything else that's serious. But that's because no one would dare screw with him, they all have to be nice back to him because he's so strong.
Swearing - He swears way too much. He swears like a sailor! And he says Motherfucking an awful lot. If he would stop swearing in battle, more people would fight him!
Simplistic - He's too simple minded. He categorizes everything as either fun, or boring. It has to be one or the other! There's nothing else to it, than that!
Doesn't follow orders - With the exception of his Captain, and occasionally the Captain Commander, He follows NO ORDERS! Because rules SUCK! In the 11th Division, they understand that, so the orders that he follows have to do with FIGHTING!
Hyper in battle - He gets overexcited and jumps the gun. This leads to pointless injuries. But, since he wins the fight anyway, it really doesn't matter too much.
Faceplant - He's not clumsy, but he's prone to randomly faceplanting because he's so occupied with fun that he has no idea what the hell he's doing!
Blurry - Everything is a blur when you're having fun! Exactly true. It's so blurred that sometimes he has no idea what's going on. This is usually the case when he eats snow cones.
Eats too much - He wouldn't be accepted in any other squads anyway because he'd eat them out of house and home! Which is something anyone in the 11th division could do!
Honesty - He's too honest! People hate honesty! This can't be a flaw, can it? Oh well, it is. He's way too motherfucking honest! He can't keep his mouth shut!
Show boating - He shows off way too much to impress others. Mainly, he wants to impress his Captain! His captain is impressed by fighting ability, so he usually shows off by BEATING PEOPLE UP!
Fights too much - When there's nobody to fight, then he goes and FINDS somebody to fight! This means that he can also get injured a bunch through countless fights, and not come in for treatment until it's really serious, which it usually isn't, he just thinks it is.
Kicking stupid stuff - If Okusa happens to deem something stupid, he's going to kick it. And he's really strong, so that might not exactly be the best idea.
Habits: [Create a list below.]
Killing - Yep. He kills. A lot. It's a habit! It's NOT a routine. It's a HABIT! It's a good habit. Killing in battle is really fun. Being killed sucks though.
Eating snow cones - What? Don't look at me that way! THEY'RE GOOD! Okusa loves snow cones. He shovels them into his mouth 10 pounds a second! Okay, exaggeration.
Bursting out into laughter - Yes, he already laughs a lot, but sometimes he just starts laughing for no reason, even in the middle of a conversation, or even in the midst of silence.
Laughing - He laughs in battle just way too much. Just generally, he's one of those guys that laughs a lot.
Kicking barrels - If he sees barrels, he kicks them. This has gotten him in trouble a few times because he's kicked barrels containing very valuable stuff. And a few times he's kicked barrels filled with explosives.
Coming up with new laughs - He thinks his laugh is like an instrument. It should define his mood. So sometimes it's just "HAHAHAHAHAHA" and other times it's "BWAHAHAHAHAHA" or even "HEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!"
Spitting on weak people - This one needs to be...kept. Weak people suck, they're boring. SPIT ON THEM! IT'S ONLY NATURAL TO SPIT ON WEAKLINGS!
Misjudging himself - He misjudges his own strength, and so sometimes he accidentally damages stuff, and makes the squad pay for it. Not that the squad ever does pay...
Cutting stuff - It's one of those "conversation habits." Sometimes people play with their hair, sometimes they scratch their heads. Well sometimes Okusa starts hacking up the thing or person closest to him.
Yelling about hatred - There are things he really despises. Like flutes. And yellow. Sometimes, out of nowhere, he just starts yelling about how much he hates those things.
Doing whatever he pleases - It doesn't matter what it is, how random it is, how random or awkward the situation is, or what people think of or try to do about it. The point is, Okusa will do whatever it is just because he wants to do it.
Stealing from the captain - Sometimes it's just water, other times it's the captain's robes. It's not that he likes the captain's possessions or anything, it's that the look on the captain's face is hysterical.
Laughing at death - To ease situations where someone talks about the death of their friend or loved one, Okusa randomly starts laughing when they share a sad memory. This gets him in trouble.
Cooking - What? Oh yeah. Randomly cooks for no reason. He knows how to cook really well, but most of the time nobody, not even he, eats what he's cooking. Why does he do it? No clue.
Fears: [Create a list below.]
Boredom - The end of the world. That's what this is! When bored, either fight stuff, or commit suicide. Those are the only two options for anyone that's crazy bored! Seriously. Just do that! Boredom is super boring, and boring is bad because it's not fun. If it's not fun, there's no happiness. When there's no happiness in the world, everything will end painfully and miserably.
Oreo cookies - Why does he fear them? No idea. Okusa just fears oreos. It's one of the most random things about him. This doesn't stop him from eating them though. But because he fears oreos, he treats them like they're alive when he's eating them, and he laughs out loud. "BWAHAHA...I'M EATING YOU...NOT SO SCARY NOW ARE YOU?!"
Goals: [Create a list below.]
Fight and have fun - Just have as much fun as possible. Live life the way it should be lived. By having fun every second of every day. To be bored is to waste time in life. Time is precious, life is precious, fun is precious. Lets have fun no matter what!
Be the best chef ever - Okusa also wants to be great at cooking! He wants to be the best chef that the world has ever seen. And one day he'll succeed. He'll turn even the lowest heaps of leftovers of garbage into an exquisite bounty fit even for a King.
Alignment: [Chaotic Good]
Overall Personality: [Other than the way he looks, there's really nothing normal about Okusa. And even the way he looks is a bit off. Since he's super tall, he's already looking a bit weird. He's random, chaotic, and loud. He has tons of bad habits, he loves fighting, and he does all sorts of weird stuff. He's just one weird person. But he doesn't care what people think! They actually have high opinions of him, he just doesn't know it.
He loves fun, living. Even when fighting he maintains these things. He's like a happy child at all times. He doesn't end up drowning in negative emotions, ever. Negative emotions are boring, and to be bored is to waste time in life, and to waste happiness. There's no way that something that valuable should be wasted. It's almost as bad as wasting snow cones. Almost. Snow cones are awesome, so wasting those is just terrible.
He loves the world, his comrades, everything around him. Why? Because all of it is so much fun! It isn't that he cares about the content. If the content is fun, he'll live with it, because he loves fun. That's all that really matters. Fun and happiness. Nothing else in the world matters, except possibly snow cones. Those are something he actually borders on being obsessed with. But nobody can judge Okusa because they all know snow cones are great.
Following the example of his Captain and role model, Okusa dislikes evil. He recognizes the truth that was laid out for him! Evil can consume FUN! If evil consumes happiness and fun, then all that's left is boredom. To be bored is to be dying slowly inside anyways. And so, it is his job to help slaughter evil wherever he may find it. He doesn't give those anti-evil or super-justice speeches, but he thinks some of them in his mind.
Since he's really weird to begin with, totally different in personality from most other people, he has a hard time finding friends that HE likes. He's really kind, so he has an easy time getting people to be friends with him, but he has a hard time finding people that HE wants to be friends with. But, he's found a few people. Most of them are exactly like him.
He loves to fight, there is nothing better than that. But most of all, the fun that comes with it, the chaos, the destruction, that's the greatest. And most of all in fighting, he loves fighting his captain. He doesn't want anyone to kill his captain. If his captain dies, his greatest fighting partner is gone! One day, he may have to kill his captain, but he doubts it. For now, lets just fight fight fight!
He's also very kind actually, stopping by on the street to help people. It's actually because he just wants to do something, but he's overall a pretty nice guy. He just wants to get along, and live life, and have fun. There's nothing more to life than being happy and having fun. If you can't live life that way, and you do stuff just to survive, then your life is pointless.
Overall, he's one great guy. Well actually he's really flawed and he doesn't have very much going for him in terms of normality, but still. Lots of people like him, he likes himself, and he likes fun, happiness, just general joy and battling. Those are the things that he holds closest to his heart. If there's anything else, he forgets about it in the randomness of each moment, and will randomly remember it some other time.
He's never serious.]

-Powers-
Fighting Style: [Okusa's battle style is chaotic, but also very skilled. He moves unpredictably, attacking not strategically, but in whichever way he deems the most fun. For this reason, his style throws off most of his enemies because he'll oftentimes take their attacks head on instead of evading the damage. It's only when the attack is fatal that he sees a need to defend. This doesn't mean that he doesn't defend, because if a defense is what will link him to using a fun attack in the next step, he'll do it.
He uses his blade one handed, traditionally choosing to do this because his great physical strength allows him to swing it around with the same lightweight style as a wooden kendo sword, even though his blade is actually much larger and heavier than that. He reserves using two hands only for the most critical of situations. His attack power magnifies, but his accuracy is what magnifies more. He uses two hands against ridiculously fast adversaries so that he can hit them more easily.
Aside from using his sword, he also uses every part of his body in battle. If close enough and he has his blade locked with someone else, he'll take the advantage by smashing his head into theirs. He had a really hard head, and just a really hard body in general. In battle, he will resort to kicking or punching an enemy if they get close enough, should he feel the need to. Sometimes, he even body slams them, and then rolls away and slashes. This is a very effective combination.
And, not just battling for fun, he also battles to see the enemy get totally wrangled. He bashes them as much as he feels like it, damaging them until there's nothing left but pulp and blood. He lets strong people live so he can come back and fight them again, but if they're weak and show no promise, he'll just break them in one attack, since he has no time for them. Okusa loves the fun and wrangling of battle, which makes him go ape shit reckless too.
From a young age he deemed that traditional styles sucked, and so he invented his own style of sword play, with unique movements and slashes. He became a master of that style, incorporating elements from all sorts of others. The angles and directions he uses are unusual, and a lot of enemies don't know how to defend against them. His weapon is built in such a way that it's easy to switch from one move to the next in a fluid combination. He can switch in the middle of a sequence.
His sword style is home to over 200 different sequences. Each sequence generally carries 50 or so unique blade moves. When he shuffles and mix and matches these moves, he has a unique movement to his slashing, which lets him bust up most enemies in a matter of seconds. This disappoints him though since to him, a fight should last very long. He loves battles to last a long time, and he likes fighting at his very best, giving it literally his all.
His battle style is also all about brutality. His blade is a large nodachi with a unique design. It's unusually heavy, though to him it's light as paper. Due to the weight and strength of most of his swings, plus his reiatsu strength, it isn't uncommon for Okusa to actually break someone else's blade if they choose to block his attack. The only real way to defend and not be damaged or disadvantaged in some way is to dodge, but that would leave someone open to one of Okusa's combinations.
Though while against most foes Okusa favors strength, chaos, and overpowering recklessness and physical ability, he does recognize that some opponents require a bit of strategy. Though he claims to be all instinct, he is actually very good at adapting and strategizing himself based on the opponent's movements. Some opponents will require him to use his speed more, while others will require him to use his instincts more, and simply do a retaliation based style. That's why Okusa has honed himself so well.
And, aside from his 200 sequence self invented style, Okusa has also learned two other styles. When mixing them with his own style, he has millions of possible combos that he can use against an enemy. If he uses familiar moves, and the last move is unfamiliar, the other person will be caught totally off guard, and Okusa can finish them. Most of his attacks are uniquely fined for some kind of purpose, leaving people baffled or stunned after just one blow.
The main bulk of his attacks aren't used to be fatal, they're used to break an enemy. Kill shots are only done if the enemy is weak. He fights for the sake of fighting fun, and he slashes with everything he's got, wherever he wants. They'll probably die no matter where he hits them anyway, so choosing a target doesn't really matter. That's what Okusa's philosophy is when he goes into battle, and it's worked out pretty well so far. Since it hasn't turned its back on him, it obviously works.
Okusa usually never stabs. Stabbing is for amateurs. Your blade can get stuck, or you can easily be countered. Slashing is what it's all about. And, slashing in unique ways that most people never anticipate. That's what it should be! Due to the power behind Okusa's swings, it is said that he can sometimes hack buildings in half, or slice through solid reiatsu with only his bare strength. This might be exaggerated, or it might be true.
He's always wild and laughing in battle, always containing mental calm. Okusa has nothing to fear. On his thoughts towards death, the only thing he can say is that it sucks, because there's no more fighting if he dies. He can approach people like a demon, never stopping no matter how many times he's slashed. This will probably terrify most of his opponents, and fear will make them half a step slower. It will give him an advantage, and make them weaker, weak enough for him to crush them.
Not that Okusa needs an advantage like that. Even in the middle of battle, he's thinking of weird ways he might be able to disadvantage himself so that he can have more fun throughout the fight. He always blindly yells suggestions that the enemy sometimes doesn't even pay attention to. But, other than that, he tends to maintain his silence, aside from the laughter and yelling and crying out of joy when he fights.
He also complains tremendously if his enemy sucks at fighting, has a power that's boring to fight against, or sucks at using their powers. Even at the rank he has chosen for himself, the average captain level is intimidated and possibly even weaker than Okusa whenever he fights. He's one of those people that is simply terrifying in battle, and simply god-like in physical being.
He only likes using one weapon at a time. While he did invent a unique style, he's too simple minded to incorporate all of the threads and workings of multiple weapons at once into an efficient or working battle style. When armed with two weapons, he'll save one to use later if his breaks. Backup! Because while he can still fight if his weapon breaks, cutting stuff is way more fun than punching or kicking it!
Okusa has added two new aspects to his fighting style. Taking after his predecessor, he has imbued himself with Kendo. Like his role model, Okusa has not mastered this art of Kendo. He now knows how to fight at a great level with his sword. He can use two hands to greatly increase his power, but is not perfect yet. Right now he can use basic Kendo, but nothing complicated. Later, he plans to learn how to use it. This is part of what has made him stronger than before.
Okusa has added something new to his arsenal too. Something that his role model never had before him. Not only can Okusa use his sword in a two handed grip, but he can return to the one handed grip. People wonder why he would do something like this. It's simple logic. It's so that he can pull out his other sword. He has adapted the art of using two swords at once into his fighting style. By using two equal sized swords at once, Okusa becomes a force to be reckoned with. ]
Zanpakutou Appearances:

It's uncertain if it's in some kind of permanent Shikai phase or not, but what is known is that Okusa has no Shikai or Bankai. Essentially, he can't release his zanpakutou, he just fights with it as is. This is fine because of how strong it is. The sword has some nice decoration on it, and it's a large, peculiar nodachi, though the way Okusa wields it is no different from wielding a regular blade, though his style is brutal.
The hilt is almost perfectly designed and molded for a one handed grip by Okusa, and it's a shiny silver. Due to constant use, the hilt is dulling slightly in color, and it looks worn, but still pretty cool. It has a pointed end on the opposing end from the blade, and is very much convenient for the grip employed with it.
The guard of the sword is, from hilt to blade, a silver skeleton's head, with a chibi body forming the bones. What's visible is the rib cage making up the torso, with stubbing little arms and legs making up the limbs. The head is constantly grinning, and the eyes are empty, hollow sockets. The guard is peculiar, but awesome looking.
The blade is extensively long, very, very long. It's also wide, and flat. The blade is super large, several times larger than any ordinary blade on a sword, and so it's also heavy. But, the way it's wielded suggests otherwise in the weight. However, due to the weight and the crafting, this blade is oftentimes capable of smashing straight through an enemy's zanpakutou without any other sort of contesting.
There are several characters embedded into the ribs of the skeleton. These all spell out words that have great meaning to Okusa. Fun, Battle, Snow Cones, Happiness, Destruction. All of these words, even snow cones, has a great meaning to Okusa. The actual reason why he likes snow cones is related to his life before becoming a soul reaper.
The way this blade functions is that it's generally pretty easy to defend and attack with it, and easy to string in combos with it. Since the sword is heavy and strong, but wielded with immense strength to be like a light blade, Okusa oftentimes overpowers enemies and disarms them in two or three attacks into a combo. It's inconvenient since the battle is short, but it's effective.
There are twin grooves on both sharp ends of the blade, parallel from each other and several inches away from the blade's tip. These grooves are for blocking. The function is to catch a blade, hook it with the grooves, and yank it out of an enemy's hand, before hacking into them and ending the battle, or just injuring them.
The grooves also serve to cut slightly into reiatsu based attacks that are caught by the sword, helping Okusa to either cast the attacks away, or simply carve through them. It's a useful thing, but it's also easy to figure out, and so after a couple of shots the other person will probably know to avoid using something that the grooves can be used to defend against.
The edges of the blade are fine pointed, very, very sharp. It is said that the blade can cut through a glint of moon light, and sever it forever. A more accurate phenomenon is the blade's easy ability to actually cut through another person's zanpakutou. Though the person's reiatsu strength needs to be weaker, the fact is that the blade is so sharp, it can do that efficiently with less of a needed reiatsu gap than ordinary.
The central ridge of the blade is a bit bumpy, but barely noticeable. This can be used to slide an opponent's slash, overextending them so that they're easily able to be attacked. It's another function of this blade that helps in battle. It's sufficiently effective for this weapon to have. It also helps slide reiatsu attacks.
Sliding reiatsu attacks off of the blade itself can even be used to redirect the attacks into an enemy, which is extremely convenient to do. It's so spectacular in Okusa's opinion, that several times he's considered remodeling his blade just to increase that factor, though he thinks the original design is best so he never follows the consideration.
The tip of the blade is designed for maximum penetration, regardless of slash or stab. For the stabbing factor, which is actually never used, it slides in, and uses the beginning of the tip to actually PULL itself further into the victim, hooking itself in, before being torn out. The "hooking grooves" that are there before the tip, will also tear at the flesh as the blade is pulled OUT.
For slashing, the tip is actually SHARPER than the edge, and so it can even sheer off someone's bone with less difficulty than the rest of the sword. It's such a well made weapon, that Okusa claims it to be the best sword. He also says that it is impossible to copy. When it comes down to that, he is probably right. It probably really is impossible to copy that weapon.
He has a huge loyalty to his former Captain. He was once part of Squad 11, but now has become the Captain of his own squad. He still goes to 11th Division a lot, and holds huge loyalties to the captain that he idolizes so much.
Overall Ability: [His reiatsu is so great, that his zanpakutou was permanently sealed, and it's so thick that he can make no communications with it. Okusa has no shikai or bankai, just like a certain captain that he follows. But, it isn't like that matters. His command of reiatsu is great, even though he doesn't know kido very well either. The strength in his pressure and reiatsu is incredible, and can be used in some awesome ways.
Any shinigami is capable of lining his/her blade with reiatsu to add to the cutting strength. But, Okusa has a special version of this. Since the cutting power of his blade is already magnified by this power, he decided to magnify it in another means too; reach. When he lines his blade with reiatsu, a small blade of reiatsu extends out of the tip, nearly invisible. But, this extends his reach by 2 full inches.
Also, he can carve through an Arrancar hierro, or withstand a move that could damage his blade, because of the strength of his own reiatsu. So lining the blade is a good thing. And also the little reiatsu addition to the tip can't be broken anyway, since it's reiatsu. It just adds that little cutting power. The blade could be considered hot, but that's just because it hurts like hell to be cut.
While people with greater strength or speed can block it, Okusa has an ability similar to his anyone like him. He can produce massive blasts of wind with his slashes, blasting things away, even reiatsu based attacks. But, more than this, the blasts of wind can be used to actually attack. A direct hit can break bones, rupture organs even.
With his hands or weapon, Okusa can break a reiatsu based attack due to the strength of his own reiatsu. He can rip into an attack, and rip through it, or he can carve through it. He can also cast it to the side, or redirect it. It all depends on the angle. Though the enemy's attack has to be weaker than him in reiatsu, that doesn't particularly mean that he can't move the attack to the side with his blade if he catches it right.
Some of the training that Okusa went through as a child made his sense of touch a lot more magnified. And so, in this world now, the feelings of pain no longer reach him properly. Of course, reiatsu also plays a part in this. His reiatsu is so strong that it has formed a sort of shell over his skin, almost like an arrancar's hierro. The shell of course is just metaphorical, it's a powerful and invisible lining of reiatsu that's there constantly and cannot be turned off.
The hierro-like ability lowers damage by 50-75% in any attack that is 100 points weaker in reiatsu than Okusa. He's pretty much, hands down, one of the strongest shinigami in terms of reiatsu ability. It's something that most captains never even get to.
The reiatsu can also be used to line his fists with miniature blades of reiatsu to stab people when he punches them. This is similar to what he does with the tip of his blade, and it makes his hand to hand ability really good. His control of this technique is very impressive.
Also, he can create sort of skates of reiatsu on his feet, allowing him to glide on the air. This increases his speed by 10%-30% whenever he does this. It might not seem like much, but it can still be the deciding factor. It costs 100 reiatsu to activate the 10% increase, and 600 reiatsu to activate the 30% increase. It's a good deal no matter what.
He can also use his reiatsu for explosion purposes. By flexing his body extensively, or popping his limbs out, he can rip apart prisons, shackles, sealing, and other enemies, with a massive explosion of reiatsu that can be released from his body. Several people can do this yes, but not nearly to the degree that Okusa can, since most of his ability focuses on the reiatsu strength anyway.
Lastly, his ability to crush an enemy with spiritual pressure is very difficult to resist. His power feels like the equivalent of two captains at once in spiritual pressure, or maybe even more. Someone with higher spiritual pressure can still dominate him, but it's very unlikely that anyone would have such a high level of spiritual pressure. Still, 40% above him will sink him to his knees.
On top of that, the spiritual pressure can actually be used on himself, to slow himself down. This might not seem useful, but in some cases it might make the enemy attack or defend too soon, ruin their chance as he releases his spiritual pressure and suddenly goes after. Or he could start with the spiritual pressure on himself, and then suddenly speed up at a random point in the fight.
Special Ability:
Idolizing his Captain, and a certain other Captain that once lived, and to compensate for the lack of a zanpakutou release, Okusa decided to develop a powerful ace in the hole, and a final ability that would make even a captain quake, shake, and shiver in muddy boots. The greatest form of Okusa's ability, it has three stages. He once had another ability, called "Phantom," but found that it was too weak after a defeat at the hands of the Primera, Adalo De-Mona. In order to become stronger, Okusa adapted a power from an idol of his, Saix Shinra. This is TRIDENT mode. It is not the same as Saix's, however it shares the name out of respect for Okusa's deceased comrade.
This is something used similarly to a release, but not quite. It is a tactical ability. When activated, there are three levels Okusa can reach. All three levels have different forms and appearances, but all match in that on Okusa's forehead, text carves itself into existence to read "TRIDENT."
400 reiatsu is needed to use stage 1, TRIDENT Level 1: The Phantom. His defense doesn't increase at all, only his capability to defend. Mostly, his capability to attack is what increases. First, his entire body becomes shrouded by a white reiatsu, which outlines him, and then outlines another shape surrounding him. The outline appears to be that of a phantom, with glowing yellow eyes behind Okusa.
On his left hand, the non sword hand, the reiatsu forges itself into a powerful claw made of a solid, brightly glowing reiatsu. This can't be used to attack. It slices through attacks. He can still punch with that hand, but this claw is used to defend. Using it, he can carve through any reiatsu based attack that has reiatsu strength inferior to his or equal to his.
The claw can also grow, becoming a large turtle shell dome situated around Okusa. This is used to massively defend against several attacks at once. Okusa can also focus his reiatsu into lasers that erupt out of his blade, up to eight at once, and cut like a normal Zanpakuto. These lasers do not cauterize wounds.
At the same time, his sword actually disappears from sight, becoming a part of his white reiatsu.
Instead, in his right hand, a gigantic sword twice his size, yet light as a feather when wielded, forms. It is made of a solid, brightly glowing white reiatsu. It is an attack form, capable of cutting through any defense that is weaker than the reiatsu strength of Okusa. It also has much more massive reach than his zanpakutou.
Upon activation, all major wounds inflicted close to minor wounds, and anything lower than a major wound will immediately close up completely, and heal. This is a great asset.
Level 2 of TRIDENT is TRIDENT Level 2: The Angel. This causes the Phantom to grow new additions. Wings. These wings are used to create an even larger perimeter of defense for Okusa. That however is not the main purpose of The Angel. The wings do nothing but shield Okusa. He cannot fly with them. However, if he is in the air, he can use them to balance and glide downwards. He cannot regain altitude. He can descend gracefully to catch himself if he is falling.
Okusa's reiatsu becomes so powerful that it allows him to use it almost like a jet, and shoot himself very high into the air for a few seconds, like a super powered jump. He does not fly. He jumps very high and very quickly with reiatsu in a jet. The jet burns anyone that touches it. He can also flex his reiatsu, causing massive power to roll off of his body in shockwaves of reiatsu. This is just flexing of reiatsu. Most of his new power in The Angel is just flexing his reiatsu. He does gain a new power with it. Paralysis.
Enemies that approach Okusa will not lose speed or stamina, but they will feel as if they had. The power that he exhuberates is so massive that anyone approaching Okusa will immediately feel at least four times heavier in his presence. It even hurts to be near him because there is so much pressure and so much power. Okusa's ability to fight is unimaginable during this time. His sword meanwhile doubles in size from what it was during The Phantom.
Level 3. TRIDENT Level 3: The Dragon. This changes the form of the reiatsu surrounding Okusa. It becomes a huge dragon. The dragon arm is synced with Okusa's, and has a blade as large as an Obelisk or a tower, massively increasing his range. The other claw is gigantic, and can be used to shield him. The tail and wings can also both be used to shield him. The lasers do not increase in power or size, but are still present.
The release of The Dragon causes a massive explosion that can shatter the bones and bodies of anyone nearby, blow away incoming reiatsu attacks, and heal all of Okusa's current (non fatal) wounds. The Dragon causes the pressure that Okusa gives off to become so intense that anyone around him feels as if they are at the bottom of several swimming pools, if not more of a lake, or even an ocean. The Dragon can only be activated through a near-death experience or a near-dying state.
All forms of TRIDENT create reiatsu cloaks that coil around Okusa and are massive. It is to be expected that reiatsu based attacks inferior to his reiatsu strength cannot penetrate, but physical attacks and physical entities can walk right through the cloak and attack Okusa directly. However, the closer they get, the harder it is to continue combat with him. Also since he can create powerful shockwaves and blasts of physical force and reiatsu, who really wants to get close to him?
The drawback is higher with each level. The duration is always 10 posts. When going from Level one to Level two, the duration doesn't restore itself. So if there is only 3/10 left in the duration, level two won't change that. The mode will stay at 3/10. When Level One ends, all stats that were increased will return to normal, and then be cut by 50%. When this happens, it will last for 4 posts. The posts are always counted by the user's posts. When Level Two ends, all stats that were increased will return to normal, and the drawback lasts for 8 posts, and is more severe. This time, the stats are all reduced by 75%. What makes it worse is Level Three. Level Three drains all of the stats all the way down to 50 each, and for 12 posts. This makes him solidly average, really weak against most people. Level Three also induces blindness for 4 posts, and immobile legs for 5 posts. Level Three DOES restore the duration though, because it can only be activated through near death, basically forced to activate. ]
